The ladies give their initial takeaways after watching the documentary and walk through all of the moments that made their jaws hit the floor. They wonder aloud why so much death and violence surrounded P. Diddy and discuss how the doc validated feelings they already had about Sean “Puffy” Combs beginning in the 90s. They also give their takes on whether Diddy was connected to Tupac's murder and how two of the jurors from Diddy's federal trial made their blood boil. Grief can make you feel unnervingly vulnerable; this is how Kate Winslet reflects on losing her mum in 2017. In this chat, Fearne and Kate share their own experiences of both grieving and co-parenting at Christmas.Regularly labelled as “fat” by the media, Kate explains what effect that scrutiny had on her self-esteem, and why it's made her even more passionate about setting an example to younger women by ageing naturally.Kate also offers advice on how to live by your own gut instinct, rather than other people's opinions, and how to approach difficult conversations with loved ones.Having recently made her directorial debut, Kate talks through what really goes on behind the scenes on a set, the safe environment she hopes to create for her actors, and the double standards applied to men and women in the film industry.Goodbye June is in cinemas from December 12th, and on Netflix on December 24th.If you liked this episode of Happy Place, you might also like: Joanna Page Trinny Woodall Dr Jenna Macciochi Hosted on Acast. Full Plate: Ditch diet culture, respect your body, and set boundaries.
Perimenopause often starts quietly. Maybe your sleep gets weird, maybe your cycles change, maybe you just don't feel like yourself. And when that happens, most of us do the obvious thing: we start looking for information. We want reassurance. We want a roadmap. And that's where the trap springs.Because the loudest voices don't talk to you like a human moving through a profound hormonal transition. No—they talk to you like a problem, a project, and a body in need of tightening, shrinking, purifying, or fixing.Cole Kazdin returns (her second time on the pod!) to talk to me about this whole mess.We get into so much in the episode, including:• the sneaky ways diet culture slips into menopause advice• the reactivation of old eating disorder behaviors• orthorexia, “eating clean,” and restriction as coping mechanisms• the research on midlife vulnerability to dieting• longevity and nutrition misinformation• reclaiming exercise from wellness culture• how we can experience more joy, autonomy, and nourishment during this transitionSupport the show: Enjoying this podcast? For Episode 469, Josh Parham, Giovanni Lago, Daniel Howat, and Tom O'Brien join me for what is one of the biggest episodes of the year. We knew heading into this week we would have to discuss the Gotham, NYFCC, and NBR winners, the AFI Top 10 films of the year, the CCA and Spirit Award nominations, and briefly touch on the Golden Globe Award nominations before they're announced. But then the industry dropped a bombshell: Netflix will acquire Warner Bros., a power move that threatens to be a seismic shift across the industry, with many implications for the future. For this week's poll, we ask our famous question: "Which Film Do You Think is Going To Be The Next Best Picture Oscar Winner?" We also reveal the winner of last week's poll, for the release of "Jay Kelly," where we asked, "Which Is Your Favorite George Clooney Performance?" In addition, we share our reactions to the trailers for "Mother Mary," "Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come," "Scarlet," "Midwinter Break," answer your fan-submitted questions, and more. Episode 324 | The Virgo Last Quarter Moon and Netflix Roulette! This week, Mercury makes a lot of moves, entering Sagittarius, aspecting Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, and presiding over the Virgo Last Quarter Moon. Neptune stations direct in Pisces. Mars relaxes with Neptune for a few hours, but then moves into industrious Capricorn. And once again this week, we have so many transits to cover that there just wasn't time to include a listener question. Plus: Fuzzy-headedness, delegation, and Netflix roulette! Read a full transcript of this episode. Have a question you'd like answered on the show? Email April or leave it here! Subscribe to April's mailing list and get a free lunar workbook at each New Moon! Love the show? Make a donation! Timestamps [1:40] Mars squares Saturn (Dec. 8, 4:15 pm PST) at 25º15' Sagittarius-Pisces – a classic “one foot on the gas, one foot on the brake” transit. Slow down long enough to be sure you're going after what's truly right. [3:42] Neptune stations direct (Dec. 10, 4:23 am PST) at 29°22' Pisces, after being retrograde since July 4. During this station, there could be a general lack of clarity. Be careful with Neptune things like medications or any kind of mind- or mood-altering substances. [6:19] Mercury opposes Uranus (Dec. 10, 11:59 am PST) at 28°39' Scorpio-Taurus. Due to Mercury's recent retrograde period, this is the third and final time that this transit is exact (previously on Oct. 29 and Nov. 19). Inspiration is high and words can have a tremendous impact. [7:50] Mercury trines Neptune (Dec. 11, 2:19 am PST) at 29°22' Scorpio-Pisces, the last of three transits in this series (previously on oct. 29 and Nov. 9). It's not the very best transit for sharp analysis and logic, but intuition should be heightened, breakthroughs are possible, and the urge to create will likely be very strong. [9:39] Moon Report! Virgo Last Quarter Moon (Dec. 11, 12:52 pm PST) at 20°04' Virgo-Sagittarius. Virgo is the sign of helpers and making peace with the limitations of your financial budget, your energy, and your schedule. [11:27] Lunar Phase Family Cycle (LPFC). This is the Last Quarter (final action point) in an LPFC that began with a New Moon on Sep 14, 2023 (21º58' Virgo). The First Quarter (action point) of this LPFC was on June 13, 2024 (23º39' Virgo), and the Full Moon (awareness point) was on March 13, 2025 (23º56' Virgo). [13:25] Void-of-Course (VOC) Moon periods. The Moon in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus (Dec. 9, 8:56 pm PST). It's VOC for 2 hours, 24 minutes, then enters Virgo (11:20 pm PST). Play Netflix roulette! Use this VOC Moon period to initiate a new habit of exposing yourself to new forms of art. [15:03] The Moon in Virgo opposes Neptune in Pisces (Dec. 12, 6:51 am PST). It's VOC for 1 hour 13 minutes, then enters Libra (8:04 am PST). Be inspired by others but not unrealistically infatuated. [15:53] The Moon in Libra sextiles Mars in Sagittarius (Dec. 14, 7:36 pm PST). It's VOC for 15 minutes, then enters Scorpio (7:51 pm PST). Use this VOC Moon period to get in the habit of going after what you want with a light-hearted attitude. [16:46] Mercury enters Sagittarius (Dec. 11, 2:40 pm PST), the sign of its detriment in Sagittarius. A good transit for taking a broad overview or doing long-term thinking, questioning beliefs, initiating higher education. Mercury will be in Sagittarius until January 1, 2026. [17:55] Mercury sextiles Pluto (Dec. 13, 8:32 am PST) at 02°12' Sagittarius- Aquarius. Mercury is on the Sabian symbol 3 Sagittarius, Two men playing chess, and Pluto is on 3 Aquarius, A deserter from the navy. This is the exact aspect in a series (previously on Oct. 30 and Nov. 17). Here is an opportunity to go after something that requires great perseverance and keen perception. [20:30] Mars squares Neptune (Dec. 14, 3:44 am PST) at 29°22' Sagittarius-Pisces. Mars is on the Sabian symbol 30 Sagittarius, The Pope. Neptune is on Sabian symbol 30 Pisces, The Great Stone Face, the rock formation like a face that's idealized by a boy who grows up and begins to look like it. This is an opportunity to review what our ideals are and how we can represent them most positively. Dedicate energy to pursuits that give back to your profession or to your community. [22:59] Mars enters Capricorn (Dec. 14, 11:34 pm PST). Mars will be on the Sabian symbol 1 Capricorn, An Indian chief demanding recognition. Join Here: https://ow.ly/msoH50WCu0KAnalytic Dreamz breaks down Netflix's explosive 4-part documentary Sean Combs: The Reckoning in this must-hear Notorious Mass Effect segment. Dropped December 2, 2025 and executive-produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, the series features never-before-seen September 2024 footage of Diddy admitting “We're losing” just days before his federal arrest on racketeering, sex trafficking, and prostitution charges. Though acquitted of the top counts, Diddy was convicted on two lesser prostitution charges and is serving 50 months. The doc ignited firestorms: Diddy calls it a “shameful hit piece” using stolen, unauthorized footage (some allegedly breaching attorney-client privilege); Netflix and director Alexandria Stapleton insist every clip was legally obtained. 50 Cent refuses to reveal his source while continuing his decades-long feud, now reignited with Ja Rule calling him a “dry snitch” and “cancer to the culture.”Analytic Dreamz examines the bombshell lawyer-yelling clip, conflicting insider accounts from Roger Bonds and Kirk Burrowes, the Biggie funeral controversy, public backlash, and the larger debate: accountability or exploitation? This segment delivers every key detail, reaction, and implication from the documentary shaking hip-hop and Hollywood right now. After taking a week off to enjoy Thanksgiving with our families, we're back with another installment of Choose What The Future Brings Radio, pushing this Black Culture Through Music! Contrary to what we do the most, our favorite style of poddin' isn't an interview but it's raw conversation and opinions on what's important to us and the people who look like us. This week we're accompanied by the good brother Paris, the creator of Hello New World & more recently, Heart Art, to help us deliver some takes on what's been goin on in the city and in the world! If you know anything about Paris, not only is he a respected creative and entrepreneur, but he's also VERY outspoken about a lot and doesn't hold back on his opinions; so this made for a HILARIOUS yet insightful talk! This week join Charlie MaSheen, Bellez & Paris as we talk about the return of #WEAKestOfTheWeek, the 50 Cent produced docu-series on Netflix that has the world in a chokehold, quarter-zips vs Nike Techs and SO MUCH MORE! Discovery and what it says about the economic forces driving contemporary media. They talk about how conglomeration and financialization have reshaped Hollywood; zero interest rates, asset inflation, and Wall Street driving mergers; how intellectual property, streaming platforms, and algorithmic “background TV” are transforming both culture and labor; the decline of cable and mass entertainment to Netflix's rent-based (and subsequent subscription) business model; the influence of Spotify, YouTube, and Amazon on media strategy; and the global implications of growing U.S. cultural monopolies. The new Netflix docuseries on Sean “Diddy” Combs is about to drop — and Diddy is already coming apart at the seams. He calls it a “shameful hit piece,” claims Netflix used “unauthorized” footage, and accuses executives of betrayal. But if you listen to 50 Cent, the director, former insiders, and the reporters who have seen the early cuts… the real story is what the documentary actually exposes about Diddy's world, his behavior, and the decades-long pattern people have been describing for years. This episode breaks down what's reportedly inside the doc — the previously unseen footage, the recordings Diddy allegedly made of himself, the hotel-room meltdown days before his arrest, the witnesses who finally speak, and the pattern that has followed him since the 1990s. We're looking at what the filmmakers uncovered, what 50 Cent has hinted at in interview after interview, what former insiders say they saw, and why Netflix is standing firm even as Diddy threatens legal action and goes nuclear in the press. Diddy says the footage was stolen. Netflix says it was obtained legally. Diddy says this is character assassination. The filmmakers say it's accountability. And 50 Cent? He says this is only the beginning. Tonight, we go inside the parts of Diddy's world he never expected anyone to see — the alleged behavior behind the scenes, the culture surrounding his empire, and the moments that reportedly made even longtime insiders step back and ask, “How did this go on for so long?” This is not a story about a superstar who partied too hard. This is a story about power, control, silence — and a documentary that may finally break that silence open.
Matt McCusker jokes about living with a woman in his Netflix special, "A Humble Offering".

Recent rumors have surfaced suggesting that Sean "Diddy" Combs may have been involved in an incident leading to Jamie Foxx's hospitalization in April 2024. These speculations propose that Combs, during a party, allegedly provided Foxx with a drink containing a harmful substance, resulting in serious health complications. The exact motive behind this purported act remains unclear, with some sources hinting at personal disputes or professional jealousy. In his Netflix special released in October 2024, Foxx addresses his hospitalization, referring to it as a "wake-up call" and expressing gratitude for his recovery. While he does not directly accuse Combs, Foxx mentions being "betrayed" by someone he considered a friend, which has fueled further speculation. Both Combs and Foxx have not publicly commented on these rumors, and no legal actions have been taken concerning this matter.(commercial at 8:29)to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Jamie Foxx addresses whether Diddy was 'responsible' for hospitalization
