James Gilliland and Peter Maxwell Slattery have both established retreat centers that have become world renowned popular hubs for UFO sightings, extraterrestrial contacts and angelic interactions they and others have experienced. The many UFO sightings and contacts have been documented in thousands of videos and photographs taken at their respective retreats located in Mt Adams, Washington, USA and Carlyle near Albury Wodonga, Victoria, Australia. In this Exopolitics Today interview with Dr. Michael Salla, James and Peter describe the significance of 3I/Atlas in terms of it being a mirror for humanity's unresolved fears and hopes in establishing extraterrestrial contact. They emphasize the importance of achieving self-mastery before making contact to ensure one is only interacting with truly benevolent and enlightened beings rather than deceivers. James and Peter also respond to questions about covert government forces tracking and interfering with extraterrestrial contactees, and how they have communicated with high level officials within the covert government trying to understand what is happening at their respective retreat centers. Peter described experiences he has had with individuals associated with the “Collins Group” who believe all extraterrestrials are demonic deceivers, and he has attempted to educate them about benevolent extraterrestrial civilizations. One of the country's largest fabricators has made the switch to zero-silica engineered stone and is now calling on others to do the same. Samantha Gee visited its new factory in Tasman.
The government is tinkering with the Clean Car Standard again, saying most importers are unable to meet the targets under the scheme as it currently stands. Last year it watered down the standard to align CO2 emissions standards with Australia - saying that change would strike the right balance between reducing transport emissions and ensuring vehicles would be affordable. But it now says the market has changed and the scheme as a whole will be reviewed. Political reporter Giles Dexter spoke to Lisa Owen.

Dr. Al Grauer hosts. Dr. Albert D. Grauer ( @Nmcanopus ) is an observational asteroid hunting astronomer. Dr. Grauer retired from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2006. travelersinthenight.org From August 2025. Today's 2 topics: - The Trappist-1 planetary system located about 40 light years away in the constellation of Aquarius consists of a small red dwarf star and 7 Earth sized planets. By carefully studying changes in the planet's transit timings and the shape of the dip in the host star's brightness as each planet transits across it, astronomers have been able to measure the orbital period, radius, and approximate mass for each of the 7 planets. - Recently my Catalina Sky Survey teammate Richard Kowalski discovered 2017 MB1, a 0.4 mile diameter asteroid with the Catalina Sky Survey Schmidt telescope on Mt. Bigelow, AZ. Two hours and 11 minutes later it came into a set images I obtained with the 60 inch telescope on Mt. Lemmon, AZ. After I reported it, the new object was tracked by telescopes in Arizona, New Zealand, Slovenia, Kansas, Australia, Hungary, France, and Brazil. Rob Jones is joined by Jacqui Oatley, Martin Samuel and Julien Laurens to reflect on the weekend's sporting action. We begin by looking at England's unbeaten World Cup qualification. But is Jacqui right to think that, while praise is due, Tuchel's real test will be winning the tournament itself?Attention then turns to Scotland. After their 3–2 loss to Greece, everything now comes down to Tuesday night at Hampden, where they host Denmark and hope to top the group with a win.We move on to Wales, who beat Liechtenstein to draw level on points with second-placed North Macedonia and now look to reach the play-offs by beating them on Tuesday.Next, we turn to England's impressive win against the All Blacks. Martin highlights George Ford's two drop goals in a 33–19 performance that indicates Steve Borthwick's approach is bearing fruit. We're then joined by Adam Collins to preview the Ashes. With just five days to go, Australia are without both Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood, and Adam believes the key will be how quickly England hit the ground running. And finally, we're joined by Rob Dorsett, who discusses all things England with John Cross and Jason Burt in Tirana ahead of Albania v England.Sunday Supplement is a Sky Sports podcast. Dita Von Teese has spent her life turning beauty into power. Born Heather Sweet in small-town Michigan, she grew up dreaming of old Hollywood glamour, satin corsets, and the kind of femininity that shimmered on the silver screen. When she opened her first bra as a teenager—a plain white cotton thing inside a plastic egg—she was deeply disappointed. That moment, she says, is where it all began. If the world wouldn’t make things beautiful, she would. In this conversation, Dita opens up about the art and discipline behind the spectacle that made her a global icon. She talks about her early days as a model and Playboy cover star, the power and intention behind creating the Dita Von Teese persona, and how she’s kept mystery alive in a world prone to oversharing. She also shares what it was like collaborating with Taylor Swift on Bejeweled and how rare it is, even now, to be approached by another artist with such genuine respect for her craft. Dita explains that while many have imitated her, Taylor came to her as a true collaborator. Now, as she brings her new show Nocturnelle to Australia in 2026, Dita talks about control, longevity, and the quiet strength behind the glamour. Click here for tour information. The Trent Bridge Test of 2005 was the first time England had taken a significant lead in the Ashes for 18 years. It was only achieved in a tense finale in fading light by two players - Ashley Giles and Matthew Hoggard - not renowned for their batting. They managed to collect the final 13 runs for victory with Shane Warne wreaking havoc, only two nervous batters left in the pavilion and the nation holding their collective breath. Simon Hughes and Simon Mann tell the tale of a dramatic match which featured a buccanneering century by Freddie Flintoff, England making Australia follow on for the first time in a generation and Ricky Ponting run out by the substitute Gary Pratt. With contributions from Flintoff, Michael Vaughan, Simon Jones, Adam Gilchrist, Andrew Strauss and Ashley Giles. #ashes #cricket #englandcricket #australia Learn more about your ad choices.
