Anti-Israel Extremism Among Pro-Palestinian Groups - Alan Skorski Reports

In a recent interview with podcast host Alan Skorski, investigative researcher Ryan Mauro of the Capital Research Center sounded the alarm on what he described as an increasingly dangerous coalition of extremist groups operating in the United States under the banner of pro-Palestinian activism. Mauro, who has spent years researching radical networks including Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), Columbia University Apartheid Divest (CUAD), and the Marxist-linked Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), claims that nearly 500 groups across the country are united not only by hostility toward Israel, but by a broader agenda to undermine the United States. “Many of these extremist groups hate Israel because of America—not the other way around,” Mauro told Skorski, challenging what he says is a commonly held assumption about the motivations behind anti-Israel activism. Among the most concerning groups identified in his research is Unity of Fields (UoF), a Palestinian group that explicitly promotes militant protest tactics and has engaged in direct confrontations with U.S. police. Mauro said the group's stated mission is to “disrupt and dismantle Zionism and U.S. imperialism through direct militant actions.” The group frequently deploys slogans such as “No cops, no KKK, no Fascist USA!” and refers to the NYPD as “IOF-trained pigs,” a reference to the Israel Defense Forces. In a recent paper titled Marching Towards Violence, Mauro reports that anarchist groups are increasingly aiming to operate as an “anti-police wannabe insurgency.” He said that his research tracked 150 of the most active “pro-Palestinian” groups on social media in the 15 months before and after the October 7 Hamas-led terror attack in Israel. The findings showed a 186% increase in anti-American rhetoric and a more than 3,000% rise in posts calling for violence on U.S. soil. Mauro also warned of an unlikely alliance between far-left and far-right elements seeking to exploit civil unrest in the U.S. “They believe that once the system collapses, their ideology will rise to the top,” he said. “It's an accelerationist strategy.” Despite what he describes as a current moment of unity among radical groups, Mauro predicts internal fractures ahead. He believes Indian Hindus may become the next target of the radical coalition due to tensions between India and Pakistan. “Once these groups pivot to attacking Hindus, it will become clear they were never about Palestine,” Mauro said. “They jump from cause to cause to create chaos and insurgency in America.” Mauro also emphasized the threat posed by far-right antisemitism, pointing to conspiracy theories spread by figures such as Tucker Carlson and controversial statements from conservative commentator Candace Owens. “The far-left's antisemitism is dangerous, but the far-right can't be ignored,” Mauro said. “We're seeing toxic ideologies from both ends feeding into the same destructive current.” Mauro's research, including publications such as When Charities Betray America: How “Pro-Palestinian” Protest Groups Promote Anti-Americanism and Pro-Hamas Extremism Taking Root in America, forms part of an expanding body of work examining domestic extremism and its links to global terror movements. On April 22, 2025, gunmen in the town of Pahalgam, located in the disputed region of Kashmir, killed 26 people—mostly Indian tourists. A four-day military clash between India and Pakistan ensued, bringing both countries to the brink of a full-blown war, before a ceasefire was reached on May 10, 2025. During the India-Pakistan clashes, Beijing urged both sides to deescalate and called for a “political settlement through peaceful means.” But China did not play a neutral role in the conflict. Consistent with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi's purported statement to his Pakistani counterpart that “China fully understands Pakistan's legitimate security concerns and supports Pakistan in safeguarding its sovereignty and security interests,” China reportedly provided intelligence, satellite equipment, and other forms of support to Pakistan before and during the clashes. To analyze China's role in the conflict, host Bonnie Glaser is joined by Andrew Small. Raw Talks With Vamshi Kurapati - Telugu Business Podcast

In this Telugu Podcast episode with Major SPS Oberoi, we uncover the real truth behind Indira Gandhi's assassination, the rise of the Khalistani separatist movement, and the complex role of the Sikh community in India's military, history, and politics. From being the backbone of the Indian Army to facing one of the most painful betrayals during Operation Bluestar, the Sikh identity has been both celebrated and challenged. We go deeper into how the partition of India and Pakistan shaped Punjab's volatile history, referencing the emotional and cultural impact seen in works like Train to Pakistan. The demand for a separate Khalistan was not just internal, it was actively supported and funded by elements sheltered in the US, UK, Canada, and Germany, allegedly to apply diplomatic and strategic pressure on India. This episode features firsthand insights from a retired Indian Army veteran, who breaks down how RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) became one of the world's most powerful intelligence agencies. From the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation, 1974 nuclear test, to integrating the Sikh identity into the national fold, RAW's operations have shaped modern Indian geopolitics. You'll learn how agents are trained to control the subconscious mind, why they operate in secrecy, and how a tailor shop in Mumbai served as a secret Israeli embassy. We discuss how agents report directly to the PMO, their finances remain outside scrutiny, and the shocking depth of their missions, including spoiling Turkey's weapons export dreams. We also expose how Pakistan's military works like a corporate empire, supporting terror groups, owning businesses, and manipulating information through information warfare. From Operation Sindhoor to Balakot airstrikes, Abhinandan's capture, and India's strategic mastery in psychological operations, you'll see how India is no longer just defending, but outsmarting.Explore the reality of modern warfare, where no one really wins, and war has become a profitable business. Despite global silence during major Indian operations, the episode questions whether it's time for India to rethink its foreign policy. Why did we not reclaim Kashmir even after Kasab openly admitted Pakistan's involvement in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks? Why is Pakistan still considered a poster boy for US foreign strategy, and why is every Indian victory followed by a forced ceasefire? But this podcast goes beyond geopolitics and strategy. It's an emotional, personal journey. Our guest opens up about the hardest part of army life, sending a fellow soldier's body home. He shares the emotional bond among soldiers, their sacrifices, and the harsh truth that MPs get pensions after a single day in Parliament, while a soldier might not after ten years of service. We talk about how Sikhs continue to dominate military enlistment, driven by their culture, principles, and identity. We also address life after the army, the transition, the struggles, the respect, and the goals that remain unshaken. Currently working as an academic advisor at EKAM, he opens up about UPSC struggles, parenting challenges, and the pressure on middle-class aspirants. You'll hear about real UPSC competition insights, how to learn deeply, the importance of Brahma Muhurtam, and why honesty is a non-negotiable value. From Cambrian Patrol victories in 2021 and 2023 to learning how India honors its war field ethics and handles POWs beyond the Geneva Convention, this episode is packed with value---emotionally, intellectually, and strategically. If you want to understand India's national security, intelligence agencies, military mindset, and the real impact of geopolitics on everyday lives, this episode is unmissable. Whether you're a UPSC aspirant, a patriot, a history buff, or just someone curious about the truth behind headlines, this episode might be your next best guide.

Garima Arora is the India born chef of the two Michelin star restaurant Gaa in Bangkok, Thailand. She is the only female Indian chef with two Michelin stars. Garima has been working tirelessly to awaken the transformative potential of Indian cuisine both in India and abroad for many years. She developed a non-profit called Food Forward India, that documents, discover and catalogue the diversity and complexity of Indian food and the culture surrounding it, and is also a judge on MasterChef India, one of the most wide-reaching culinary television shows on earth. In our conversation, we speak of how the perception of Indian food has changed since she opened the restaurant. I spent two months in the country when I was 25, traveling on 3rd class trains everywhere, going from the Himalayas in the north to Goa in the south, and the border with Pakistan in the west to Varanasi in the east. Aside of being one of the most impactful periods of my life, I tasted so many things that were new to me and I haven't seen since. Indian food, the cuisine of a massive landscape with hundreds of ecosystems and more people than any other country on the planet, was, for many years, reduced to a handful of curries and breads outside of the country. It's so vast and rich and has been bottled up within India for so long, but suddenly it's starting to spread. This is very much a big moment for Indian food outside of India. Tresind Studio in Dubai was just awarded 3 Michelin stars. Semma in New York was named the best restaurant in the city by The New York Times. And within India there is a lot going on too, not just with fine dining restaurants, but at the street level there is an energy there that is growing by the day. This is a cuisine, sorry not a cuisine, but thousands of them, that have been overlooked for far too long.Aside of trying to juggle parenting with chef life and her early career as a journalist, Garima talks about her work at Gaa. She tells us about the historic Thai house that was moved in pieces to Bangkok and reassembled with the help of a modern architecture firm to create the setting of the restaurant. She tells us how she cooks the Thai fruit durian on a tandoor oven as her main course, which sounds like one of the most delicious things ever.READ MORE at NEW WORLDER.

Managing time zones is one thing, but the cultural differences and US stereotypes of foreign work plague agency owners not located in the US.Faisal and Umair join us on the podcast to talk about how they got started in Pakistan and grew their development agency, Strugbits, to over 150 people by always targeting the US as their primary market. They go in-depth into how they got started, acquired clients, and earned trust with US partners.----------------------------------*This episode is sponsored by Wix Studio.----------------------------------Our recommended agency tools:everbrospodcast.com/recommended-tools/----------------------------------⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐As always, if you enjoyed this episode or this podcast in general and want to leave us a review or rating, head over to Apple and let us know what you like! Conversations on Groong - June 6, 2025In this episode of Conversations on Groong, we speak with Abhinav Pandya about the emerging Turkey–Pakistan–Azerbaijan axis and its implications for India's security and regional posture. We explore the symbolism behind the opening of an empty airport in Berdzor (Lachin), the broader strategic coordination among these three nations, and how India responded with Operation Sindoor following a major terror attack in Pahalgam. The conversation also looks at Armenia's growing role as a strategic partner for India, the complexities of managing ties with Iran, and the challenges facing multilateral projects like IMEC. Pandya outlines the ideological and hybrid threats India faces and what it must do to stay ahead in a shifting geopolitical landscape.TopicsTurkey-Pakistan-Azerbaijan AxisOperation SindoorArmenia As a Strategic PartnerWest Asia and Eurasia ContextFuture OutlookGuestAbhinav PandyaHostsHovik ManucharyanAsbed BedrossianEpisode 443 | Recorded: June 3, 2025SHOW NOTES: https://podcasts.groong.org/443VIDEO: https://youtu.be/nhKhHx_Tpwo#OperationSindoor #IndiaForeignPolicy #TurkeyPakistanAxis #ArmeniaIndiaRelations #india #armeniaSubscribe and follow us everywhere you are: linktr.ee/groong

This week on the Sumud Podcast, we're joined by Mussab Ali - a cancer survivor, civil rights advocate, and one of the youngest Muslim elected officials in U.S. history. Born in Pakistan and raised in Jersey City, Mussab's story is one of grit, public service, and fearless truth-telling. At just 20 years old, Mussab became the youngest-ever elected official in Jersey City, eventually rising to president of the Board of Education. Where he advocated for clean water access, increased teacher pay, and halal food and Eid holidays for Muslim students. While studying at Harvard Law, Mussab battled cancer, completed chemotherapy, and still graduated while serving his community. Now, he's running for mayor of Jersey City - not just to lead, but to represent. In a political moment where speaking up for Palestine is often seen as a career-ender, Mussab has done the opposite: calling out injustice, demanding a ceasefire, and getting thrown out of city hall for refusing to stay silent.

Six decades ago this summer, as Pakistan's army mobilised for war in Kashmir, India's military and intelligence services ignored warnings in plain sight. The lessons learned in 1965 helped India win the Bangladesh war, but the lack of an institutional culture of introspection and honest self-criticism led to mistakes being repeated in 1999, 2001-2002 and 2019. India can't afford to repeat those errors again.

In the electrifying conclusion to Tom Bilyeu's conversation with ex-CIA officer Andrew Bustamante, the lens widens to encompass today's global flashpoints. Andrew applies his framework of power, leverage, and outcomes to the powder keg of present-day geopolitics. From Covid conspiracies and biological warfare, to the rise of China, the fate of the U.S. dollar, and the shifting allegiances shaping the 21st century, Andrew breaks down how world leaders really make decisions—far removed from conventional morality. This part takes a deep dive into modern conflict zones including Russia-Ukraine, the Israel-Palestine crisis, and the West's declining grip amid new authoritarian contenders. Tom and Andrew wrestle with the hard questions: Are chemical and biological weapons just another leverage tool? Why are democracies struggling while strongman regimes rise? And what does the America-first, leverage-maximizing approach actually look like in real time? Buckle in for a rapid-fire tour through the next era of global power, what it has to do with everyday life, and why understanding the "spy playbook" has never mattered more. This is the Catchup on 3 Things by The Indian Express and I'm Flora Swain.Today is the 4th of June and here are the headlines.1. Multi-party Delegation Briefs EAM on Anti-Terror Diplomacy TourA multi-party delegation led by BJP leader Baijayant Panda met External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar after returning from visits to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Algeria to rally support against Pakistan-backed terrorism. The team included MPs and leaders across party lines, including Asaduddin Owaisi and Ghulam Nabi Azad. The delegation briefed Jaishankar on their findings, highlighting India's global rise under PM Modi. They said India's economic and diplomatic strength is helping forge international partnerships on trade and counterterrorism. Jaishankar lauded their outreach efforts.2. Monsoon Session of Parliament Set to Begin July 21Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju announced that the Monsoon session of Parliament will begin on July 21 and run until August 12. The session was recommended by the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs, chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will convene at 11 a.m. after a three-month recess. The session's announcement comes amid calls by opposition parties for an urgent special session to discuss Operation Sindoor—India's major military strike on terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir earlier this year.3. Punjab YouTuber Held for Links to Pakistan Spy NetworkPunjab Police arrested Jasbir Singh, a YouTuber from Rupnagar, for alleged involvement in a Pakistani spy network. Singh, who runs the channel ‘Jaan Mahal', was nabbed by the State Special Operations Cell in Mohali. Authorities say he is linked to Shakir alias Jutt Randhawa, a Pakistani intelligence operative, and maintained close ties with Haryana YouTuber Jyoti Malhotra—previously arrested on similar charges—and a Pakistani High Commission official. The espionage network is believed to be terror-backed. Investigations are ongoing into the extent of Singh's involvement and communication with Pakistan-based handlers.4. RCB Victory Parade Cancelled, Celebration at Stadium InsteadRoyal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) cancelled its IPL victory parade on Wednesday, originally planned from Vidhan Soudha to M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Bengaluru Traffic Police confirmed the cancellation, stating the team would instead meet Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at the Vidhan Soudha. A celebration is now scheduled at the stadium. RCB had earlier announced the parade on social media, thanking fans for their unwavering support over 18 seasons. The franchise won its first IPL title this year, prompting city-wide excitement. Fans can now attend the celebration directly at the stadium later today.5. Trump Doubles Tariffs on Global Steel, Aluminium ImportsU.S. President Donald Trump signed an executive order Tuesday doubling tariffs on nearly all steel and aluminium imports to 50 percent, citing national security concerns. The hike—effective Wednesday—follows his 2018 move imposing 25 percent tariffs under the Trade Expansion Act's Section 232. The UK, which recently signed a trade deal with the U.S., is exempt and will maintain the current 25 percent rate. Trump's decision marks a significant escalation in his administration's trade policy, as Washington continues to pressure nations for fairer deals and increased domestic metal production. That's all for today. Groong Week in Review - June 1, 2025In this episode of Groong's Week in Review, recorded on June 2, 2025, guest Benyamin Poghosyan joins hosts Hovik Manucharyan and Asbed Bedrossian to unpack a tense and volatile week in both regional and domestic politics. The conversation opens with rising tensions in the Ukraine war, as drone strikes reach deep into Russia, Germany lifts missile restrictions, and Trump labels Putin “crazy,” all while Iran nuclear talks remain frozen under hardline U.S. demands. The focus then shifts to the South Caucasus, where Turkish FM Hakan Fidan met Lavrov in Moscow to push the “3+3” platform and floated Istanbul as a summit venue for global powers. Meanwhile, Erdogan, Aliyev, and Pakistan's PM Sharif staged a PR spectacle in Lachin to inaugurate a third airport in occupied Artsakh, signaling strategic realignments. Back in Armenia, the Pashinyans launched harsh verbal attacks on the Armenian Church just as Baku's Grand Mufti claimed Etchmiadzin as Azerbaijani land, prompting questions of tacit coordination. The episode also revisits the impeachment debate versus opposition planning for the 2026 elections, probing whether security and corruption can drive real political traction. Finally, the hosts spotlight the rise of regime-aligned oligarch Narek Nalbandyan, whose sweetheart deals, state-enabled asset grabs, and government-backed expansion raise serious concerns about the erosion of anti-corruption values in Armenia today.TopicsStatus of Ukraine and US-Iran CrisesHakan Fidan in MoscowErdogan, Aliyev, Sharif in LachinAzerbaijan and Pashinyan Attack the Armenian ChurchImpeachment vs. ElectionsThe Kitchen SinkGuest: Benyamin PoghosyanHostsHovik ManucharyanAsbed BedrossianEpisode 442 | Recorded: June 2, 2025SHOW NOTES: https://podcasts.groong.org/442VIDEO: https://youtu.be/oo_B7xhOVlMSubscribe and follow us everywhere you are: linktr.ee/groong

Ben Luke talks to Huma Bhabha about her influences—from writers to musicians, film-makers and, of course, other artists—and the cultural experiences that have shaped her life and work. Bhabha was born in 1962 in Karachi, Pakistan, and has been based in the US since 1981—she now lives in Poughkeepsie, New York state. She has achieved a profoundly individual figurative sculptural language, exploring the rich history of her medium while also looking to the future. Informed by ancient monuments, Modernist sculpture and an array of other artforms, Huma employs various sculptural traditions—from modelling with clay, to carving, to found-object assemblage—to create figures that are monumental yet vulnerable, otherworldly yet rooted in the vicissitudes of contemporary geopolitics. Alongside her sculptures, Huma has made similarly powerful work in two-dimensions, particularly in combinations of drawing and collage. She reflects on the early and ongoing impact of Rembrandt on her work, her fascination with Pablo Picasso and Robert Smithson, the influence of the writing of Amy Goodman and Roberto Bolaño and how she has responded to the films of Jean-Luc Godard and Jean Negulesco. She also gives insight into her life in the studio and answers our usual questions, including: what is art for?Huma Bhabha—Encounters: Giacometti, Barbican, London, until 10 Aug; Huma Bhabha: Distant Star, 13 June-26 July.      It's Monday, June 2nd, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Pakistan passes law that prohibits to curb child marriage On May 30th, despite fierce opposition from Islamist groups in Pakistan, President Asif Ali Zardari signed into law a landmark bill to curb child marriage, setting the minimum age for marriage for both genders at 18 years, reports Morning Star News. Opposition included the Council of Islamic Ideology, which declared that classifying marriage under the age of 18 as rape did not conform with Islamic law. The bill says that any man over 18 who marries an underage girl could face up to three years of rigorous imprisonment. Specifically, the bill states, “Living with a child under 18 in a marital relationship will be considered statutory rape.” Sherry Rehman, who introduced the bill in the Senate on May 19 after its passage in the National Assembly on May 16, described the legislation as a crucial step toward protecting the rights of women and children. Typically, kidnapped girls in Pakistan, some as young as 10, are abducted, forced to convert to Islam, and raped under cover of Islamic “marriages” and are then pressured to record false statements in favor of the kidnappers, 15 percent more Scottish mothers aborted their Down Syndrome babies Public Health Scotland revealed there were 18,710 abortions in Scotland in 2024, the highest number on record, reports Right to Life UK. This represents an increase of 468 abortions. Plus, there was a 15 percent increase in the number of babies with Down's syndrome who were aborted. Worse yet, since 2021, the number of babies with Down's syndrome who were aborted has increased by 81 percent. In 2024, 41 percent of abortions in Scotland were repeat abortions. In Psalm 139:13 and 16, David tells God, “For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. … Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be.” Elon Musk's return to the private sector Elon Musk announced on social media that he is leaving his role in the Trump administration, reports The Guardian. Spearheading the Department of Government Efficiency, Musk helped to cut $175 billion in waste, fraud, and abuse. Plus, D.O.G.E. helped to cut nearly 12 percent, or 260,000, of the 2.3 million-strong federal civilian workforce, largely through threats of firings, buyouts, and early retirement offers. After receiving a gold key from President Trump on Friday in the Oval Office, Musk said this. MUSK: “This is not the end of D.O.G.E., but really the beginning. My time as a special government employee necessarily had to end. It was a limited time thing. It's 134 days, I believe, which ends in a few days. But the D.O.G.E. team will only grow stronger. I'm confident that we will see a trillion dollars of savings. So, I look forward to continuing to be a friend and advisor to the president, continuing to support the D.O.G.E. team.” Musk's political activities have drawn protests and some investors have called for him to leave his work as Trump's adviser and manage Tesla more closely. Kennedy Center VP fired over speaking truth about homosexuality A prominent pro-Trump Christian says he was fired from his role as vice president of the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. just because he refused to renounce his belief that marriage is between one man and one woman. Floyd Brown, the founder of Western Journal, had been recruited about a month ago to serve as the performing arts center's vice president. He has spoken bluntly of his biblical understanding about God's design for our sexuality. BROWN: “Homosexuality is a punishment that comes upon a nation that has rejected God. They're debasing themselves and their humanity.” Leviticus 18:22 states: "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; such a thing is an abomination."  Floyd accused Kennedy Center President Ric Grenell, a homosexual who is in a so-called “marriage” to a man, of being intimidated by a CNN hit piece that highlighted what the news network called Brown's “anti-gay” rhetoric. Kentucky state legislator abandons sinking Democratic Party Kentucky state Sen. Robin Webb has become so disenchanted with the Democratic Party that she became a Republican, reports The Western Journal. She said, “While it's cliché, it's true: I didn't leave the party — the party left me.” She added, “As the Democratic Party continues its lurch to the left and its hyperfocus on policies that hurt workforce and economic development in my region, I no longer feel it represents my values. It has become untenable and counterproductive to the best interests of my constituents for me to remain a Democrat.” YMCA's pro-transgender policy endangers girls Do you know what YMCA stands for? Young Men's Christian Association. These days, there's nothing Christian about the YMCA's woke, gender-confused policy at overnight camps. Last Wednesday, the American Parents Coalition urged parents to “beware” that the YMCA allows boys, pretending to be girls, in girls' spaces like overnight cabins, locker rooms, and showers, reports The Daily Wire. Plus, the YMCA may not inform parents of their perverted policy which rightly raises privacy and safety concerns. Less than 24 hours after a lower court ruling on Wednesday found that President Trump had illegally used an emergency powers law to enact global tariffs, a federal appeals court paused that decision and allowed the tariffs to continue – for now, that is. The legal topsy-turvy added a fresh round of uncertainty for business owners like Leslie Jordan, who started a company in Portland nearly 40 years ago which manufactures athletic apparel and accessories made in factories in China and Pakistan.  In April, when President Trump enacted tariffs of 145% on goods made in China, Jordan had to pay nearly 200% in duties to get her products cleared through customs. She lost business as some orders got canceled and  scrambled to move production to factories in countries like Egypt and Vietnam, which face lower tariff rates than China. She also started getting emails from companies that offered their services to help her avoid high tariffs through illegal schemes, such as misclassifying the imported goods or shipping them through a different country.  Jordan recently shared her experiences with the New York Times in their investigation into the rise of trade fraud as a consequence of the tariffs. She joins us to share more details and how she thinks the federal government can more effectively crack down on tariff cheats.
