It was supposed to be a fun night of celebrating followed by a day of leisure when Tyler Davis and his wife, Brittany dropped their young son off at Tyler's parents and headed to nearby Columbus, Ohio to celebrate Brittany's birthday in February of 2019. Case Update: Since filming, Michael McKee was extradited and is now being held in Franklin County, Ohio where he is facing charges. In a hearing on Friday, January 23rd, 2026, he pleaded not guilty. It has also come to light that on December 6th, video evidence shows Michael entering the Tepe's home while they were at the Big Ten Championship Football Game. The unsealed affidavit in the Spencer and Monique Tepe murder case reveals what investigators believe was weeks of alleged planning before two people were shot to death in their Columbus home. According to court documents, surveillance captured Michael McKee walking through the Tepes' yard on December 7th—while the couple attended the Big Ten Championship game in Indianapolis. Twenty-three days later, they were dead.But the documents reveal more than alleged reconnaissance. Witnesses told investigators that McKee made repeated threats to Monique during and after their marriage, including that he could "kill her at any time" and that "she will always be his wife." At least one witness reported that McKee allegedly strangled Monique and forced unwanted sex on her during the marriage—behaviors that domestic violence researchers identify as the strongest predictors of future lethality.The affidavit details how McKee allegedly used stolen license plates from Ohio and Arizona on his vehicle, how his cell phone went dark from December 29th until after noon on December 30th, and how his SUV was tracked arriving in Columbus before and leaving after the murders. The assailant attempted to ram his vehicle into one of the subterranean entrances to the facility, ramming into the underground gate several times before being halted. The suspect was detained by police who were providing security for the venue, and later identified as Dan Sohail of New Jersey. Immediately after the incident, a federal civil rights investigation was opened regarding this case.California: Last night a state of unrest was reported at a Korean BBQ in Lynwood, after ICEWatch intelligence networks falsely identified off-duty TSA agents as ICE agents. Ohio leaders and experts react to the latest deaths by federal officers in Minneapolis Videos of the deaths of two American citizens, Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti at the hands of federal immigration officers in Minneapolis this month have caused outrage in communities across the country. The deaths occurred amid protests over President Donald Trump's deployment of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE, in Democratic-controlled cities. Critics have pointed out contradictions in the Trump administration's justification of the killing - painting the victims as safety threats, versus the bystander footage. Some lawmakers across the country, including a growing number of Republicans, such as Ohio U.S. Senator Jon Husted and Bay Village Congressman Max Miller have called for a thorough investigation into the incident. Democrats have called for the impeachment and removal of Kristi Noem, U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary. And citizens across the country, including a coalition of Cleveland religious leaders, students and activists have announced plans to join a general strike Jan. 30 that calls for the abolition of ICE.
