Tonight's guest, Bill Rigby, used to want to have a Sasquatch sighting of his own more than just about anything. As he found out, however, there's a difference between hoping to see a Sasquatch and being ready to see one. That's a lesson he learned the hard way, in Salt Fork State Park, in Ohio. You see, Bill had a sighting there one evening where he found himself just 15 feet from a 7-foot-tall Sasquatch. After having that sighting, he lost all interest in heading back into the woods. If not for a phone conversation with Tim, “Coonbo” Baker, Bill probably would have sworn off going back into the woods for good. That conversation helped him regain his confidence, however, and head back in. Now, he's back out there, doing field investigations. They are important for our economy as corridors for transportation, and they are important as recreational fisheries. But they are facing many threats. From river modification, to urbanization, to invasive species, to changing precipitation patterns, these rivers aren't the same as they once were. Wes discusses these impacts with Dr. Mike Eggleton, a fisheries professor at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. I have a sight mark wraith 4K mini on a keltec RFB. I need to mount some kind of IR flashlight to help with night shooting on the farm. What recommendations would you have for an IR flashlight with a mount? The keltec RFB is kind of limited on rail space and the top rail is getting a little crowded with the digital optic and an offset red dot I am using for faster shooting in daytime. The CBX Precision and CBX Tac Hunter models may accidentally fire without pulling the trigger when safety is disengaged. Colt advises owners to stop using these rifles and return them for a refund or replacement. Retailers should also return their unsold rifles. Colt is addressing this issue directly and apologizes for any trouble. The rifles are currently being recalled.
