This episode of The Black Doctors Podcast is hosted by Dr. James Stewart . He sits down with fellow General Surgery Resident Dr. Shakira Burton. She shares why she chose 'allegedly' the BEST specialty in medicine. They talk about the significant role the Student National Medical Association played in their success. They also talk about why medical students should still push themselves in preparing for Step 1, even though it will soon be pass fail. My favorite thing about this episode was how effortlessy the conversation flowed. This is truly two surgeon colleagues having a conversation and we are fortunate to be able to listen in. Are you considering a career in surgery? Are you wondering if you can maintain a rewarding life while keeping up with a rigorous residency program? Have you considered coming to the SNMA conference? Took some personal time today. So rather than fight with the news of the world, I wanted this show to be you and I exploring who and what we are together. I told a bit about my personal world BUT mostly, I want to invite you to spend more time in OUR "Gives 0" world.I want to thank ALL OF YOU for helping this platform grow more and more every day. Sometimes it's almost spooky to see how many plays/downloads it has gotten when our numbers are reported to me. I can only thank you guys for keeping it alive. I literally had NO FORMULA for doing this other than stream of conscious (ok, fine, it's bitching) on the microphone and letting it play to the world. Bumps, bruises and all. Well, something struck a chord because here you are. And I love you guys. Also a reminder that POCASTS are important because they are hard to shut down. At some point, the way things are going, the FCC will try and kill Conservative talk radio. We MUST stick together and keep these things going!! Keep your part of America STRONG - our time is coming. The internet in India is 75% men and 25% of women, making India's digital gender gap the widest in the world. It's clearly reflected by how women get portrayed in this content and what kind of opportunities really come their way. If you go on TV, the typical "Saas Bahu" show will have you believe that all women really want to do is serve their husbands or scheme against other women and if we watch the typical comedy show it will portray women as a prop for male humour. Thankfully there are some women creators online who have really taken matters in their own hands to drive a change in this mindset. In this episode, we talk to two wonderful women who are leading this charge and changing the landscape for female creators. First up, Anisha Dixit who is better known as 'Rickshawali' talks about how she became a comedy creator. We'll also talk to Tracy Dsouza, the boss lady behind Girliyapa, an all-women team that has created its own brand of very accessible humour balanced with hard-hitting satire. Tracy talks about the courage and conviction to be a woman boss in entertainment. We will also dig deeper into how they work with brands, how their teams perceive them as women leaders and what they think is going to be the future for women creators in India. Mach das, was dir leicht fällt! Vom 20. Juli 2018 – 29. The Satellite Sisters recap the latest episode of the CBS drama Madam Secretary starring Tea Leoni and Tim daly. And on this week's episode, we get Stephen Sondheim and Joni Mitchell! Plus, lots of screen time for the behind the scenes lives of all of the people that populate The Seventh Floor at the Dept of State. But furst... BLAKE OPENING MONTAGE WITH SONDHEIMMMMMMMMMM From Company—Bobby, Bobby… Blake, Blake.Blake He runs! He has a cat! He calls his mom on the way to work! Love you. Gotta go. Bye. Let’s talk about the overarching storyline—freeing an American Journalist from the Sudan. He was imprisoned 6 years ago and is now dying with TB. Over the years, DOS has monitored his status but has not been able to do anything. But the story is told through the lives and eyes of all the folks on the 7th floor... Blake - We all need one. A selfless assistant to a powerful person who loves his cat, his mom and his position. Nadine- the best. Everyone’s confidant. Her scene with Mike B- fantastic Daisy- oh no. Pregnant and we don’t find out until the end – but we all know it’s the Spy in Accountings baby Matt- a little bit of writers block- but I loved the way he got himself out of it. Exactly what writers do. Jay- woo-hoo! Good thing Jay got that couch last week! And Finally Elizabeth… smaller role, but always the emotional ceneter of the show. Light bulb moment? Check. Prfessional demeanor at all times? Check. Best Boss Ever vis a vis her conversation with Daisy? Check. At the end when they are all standing there together—very nice moment. Binders full of Blouses RIP Daisy’s cute dresses. Blake’s natty suits.

Alles geht hier beim picnic06 erst einmal ganz ruhig los.
