In this episode, we delve into the topic of allowing yourself to achieve your dreams, even if they may seem too big or elusive at first. Dreams can often be grand and encompass the big picture of our lives. They may span years or even a lifetime, leaving us questioning our purpose and what we truly want to achieve. But perhaps the key to finding our purpose lies in a simple truth: learning to love ourselves. By focusing on self-love and personal growth, we can navigate the journey towards our dreams with joy and appreciation. However, the path to realizing our dreams may not always be straightforward. Many of us struggle with identifying what our dreams are in the first place. We may have been conditioned to provide socially acceptable answers when asked about our aspirations, without truly knowing what we desire deep down. It's a process that evolves over time, as we gain new experiences and uncover hidden passions. Join us on this episode of Intuition: Your Success Compass as we explore the transformative power of allowing ourselves to dream, defining our aspirations with flexibility, and taking inspired action towards the realization of our dreams. Celebrate every step of the process and let your intuition be your guiding compass on the path to success. P.S. If you'd like a transcript of the podcast, head over to Youtube for subtitles.

SHOW NOTES: On this show…we are going to stay flexible, gently planting a foot to pivot, so that we can easily embrace change. The only thing that seems consistent, is change. How do you deal with your ever-evolving life? I believe certain seasons are prone to unfolding in due time and others see rapid change that may seem overwhelming and impossible to keep up with. What season are you currently in? Are you holding on for dear life or are you pushing your ideas up the side of a mountain? No matter where you find yourself, it's important to stay flexible in your thinking. It's all too easy to get rooted in one thought track that can narrow your view and limit your possibilities. There is more to learn as you connect and open your mind and your heart.  Do you find yourself thinking and sounding like your parents? I'm sure at one point, during your rebellious teenage years, you said the words “Shoot me if I ever sound like my Mother” haha only to find yourself relating to the world in some of the same ways. That's because much of your thinking, ideas, and rituals came from your parents during your formative years. One survey stated that 75% of life lessons are introduced by a parent. Can you think of a time when you challenged that way of thinking? How have you grown as you've been introduced to new people, places, and experiences?  Today we are bombarded with content, voices, strong opinions, ideas, and suggestions. How do you discern and learn?  Have you heard of the term, cognitive flexibility?  Cognitive flexibility is an intrinsic property of a cognitive system often associated with the mental ability to adjust its activity and content, switch between different task rules and corresponding behavioral responses, maintain multiple concepts simultaneously, and shift internal attention between them. Marianne Stenger shows us 7 Ways to Develop Cognitive Flexibility found at informEd Polly Campbell shares 5 BRAIN EXERCISES TO FOSTER FLEXIBLE THINKING found at gaiam.com At soulsalt.com I found information on Embracing Change: Moving Forward Through A Major Transition On the Pursuit of Wonder Youtube Channel, I found Why We Are All Afraid Of Change - Overcoming Fear & Resistance CHALLENGE: stay flexible in your thinking so that you are open to accepting new ideas, shared experiences, and the benefits of an alternative perspective. Change is inevitable and sometimes it comes without us asking for it so instead of fearing change, we must embrace it and ask ourselves what we can start to do differently to not only survive but to thrive through this time. This week's episode 89 of Female Founders Breaking Boundaries is about staying flexible through failure!Have you ever felt like you were WAY too busy, stressed out, burnt out, and overwhelmed, so you were advised to delegate some tasks to take things off your plate and free up some time? Except, maybe it didn't work. If getting out of the day-to-day in your business was as simple as hiring more people, then why are you still feeling overwhelmed and burned out? You are not alone! Sometimes, simply delegating tasks doesn't work and instead shifts your workload from “doing” to “managing.”I invite you to use the exercise that our own C-Suite clients use to take the first step in turning your team into a well-oiled, self-managed machine- and get you out of the delegation catch-22. Today on the show the focus is how to expand your online coaching business into other target markets.   The Episode: How To Have More Than One Target Market   One of our main messages for students is to identify and focus on a single target market or defined client avatar. But this does not mean that you can never branch out and serve other markets and a broader range of people. This episode is all about how and when you can do this and is also a reiteration of keeping things simple in the beginning. Ultimately you want your online coaching business to grow and change according to your needs and skills, so listening to feedback and staying authentically yourself should be the guiding principles of whatever choices you make.    In This Episode Expanding a target market after the initial phase [0:21:34] Tricky transitions into new areas [0:24:43] Allowing space for organic growth and reinvention [0:29:12] Making appropriate shifts that suit you and your lifestyle [0:30:53] Sharing the unique and quirky parts of yourself [0:34:42]   “When you are starting, you need a competitive advantage, you need something that is going to give people a reason to take a shot on you.” — Jonathan Goodman   The First Steps As we often say, keep it simple when you are starting out, and this means focusing on one target market! Once you have an established customer base in a market, you can begin to consider expanding it, or approaching other demographics. This is not a necessity, and it is completely acceptable to stay in your lane and never leave, it is up to you! What you definitely do not want to do is mess things up by trying to juggle more than you can handle.   The Problem with Branching Out It can be a real challenge to transition from an in-person practice to something strictly online, and this is mostly because becoming accustomed to one way of doing things can make it hard to recognize its flaws and abandon it. The reality is that in-person training is just not a good business model anymore and does not serve any of the people involved as well as it should. You can train whoever you want to but try and free yourself from the limitations of your past experiences.   Staying Flexible and Open-Minded In the early stages of a coaching business, you will not know what it will become. So do not focus on executing a big vision initially, you want to leave space for trying new things and for exploration and reinvention. You can really adapt your business to your life, and we highly recommend staying genuine and quirky because that is what people will connect with! As always, real-time feedback is invaluable, so take notice of what people relate to and what they are saying.   Already at $1,000/month online and want to scale?   Apply for OTA 2 here: www.thePTDC.com/OTA2   SPONSORS Get started TODAY with the world leading certification and business development program for personal trainers, nutrition coaches, and gym owners – The Online Trainer Academy:http://onlinetrainer.com/ota   Apple Podcast - https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/feed/id1468193055 Stitcher - https://www.stitcher.com/podcast/jon-goodman/its-possible-conversations-with-successful-online-trainers Spotify - https://open.spotify.com/show/20veRnzFOvUn6fTy9ud8jm?si=zMWTLmtISMm1XrU-4Q8oxA YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/user/JonGoodmanPTDC

BIO: Gav Gillibrand is a fitness and nutrition expert specializing in helping busy executives lose 20-30lbs in 12 weeks. He is the author of The GHG Method – A No “Bullshit” Approach To Losing Body Fat, Upgrading Your Mind Set & Radically Changing Your Life. STORY: In his 20s, Gav ignored his health and just concentrated on having a sexy body. Years later, he has had several injuries that he now has to deal with in his 40s. LEARNING: Your health is more important than wealth or a sexy body. Invest in your health today to manage the risk of injuries in your old age.   “If I could go back to my 20s, I would be the first to take care of my health. Now I have to spend the next 20 years trying to repair the damage that I did in my 20s and 30s.” Gav Gillibrand   Guest profilehttps://www.linkedin.com/in/gav-gillibrand/ (Gav Gillibrand) is a fitness and nutrition expert specializing in helping busy executives lose 20-30lbs in 12 weeks and become great role models for their kids WITHOUT giving up carbs and other fun stuff from their lives. From a TV appearance on “Blind Date” in 1993 to a distinguished career as a male revue artist AKA a male stripper, traveling all over the UK and Europe, Gav went on to become one of the UK’s most successful fitness coaches, having helped 100’s of clients in the last 12 years to health and weight loss success. He’s written articles for Men’s Health, Hello and OK! Magazine and is the author ofhttps://amzn.to/3trBYQf ( The GHG Method: A No “Bullshit” Approach To Losing Body Fat, Upgrading Your Mind Set & Radically Changing Your Life). Worst investment everToo young and sexy to careWhen Gav was in his 20s during his stripping and dancing days, he would often make fun of the other guys who always took time to exercise and stretch before a show. Gav felt that he was sexy enough to need any stretching. Giving in to age and poor healthWhen Gav was in his 40s, his body started caving. He got a neck injury and a spinal injury that caused his left arm to be slightly paralyzed. Gav was out of action for two or three years. Three years later, he had two meniscus surgeries on his knee. He is currently in the middle of a hip and back injury. Gav’s worst mistake ever was ignoring his health in his 20s, and now he is trying to repair the damage. Lessons learnedYour health is better than your looks or moneyYou may have a sexy look, but your sexy body will not be of help to you if you are sick. It doesn’t matter how much money you’ve got or how big your car or house is; if you have poor health, it is all worthless. Andrew’s takeawaysThink of your health as a risk management strategyhttps://myworstinvestmentever.com/ep346-bushy-martin-focus-on-your-health-because-it-is-your-wealth/ (Invest in your health) when you are young to avoid the risk of poor health and injuries in your old age. Actionable adviceStart thinking about your health now when you are young because prevention is better than cure. You do not want to spend your sunset years trying to repair the damage that you did in your 20s and 30s. No. 1 goal for the next 12 monthsGav’s number one goal for the next 12 months is to be injury-free. From a business perspective, he wants to double his coaching business and write his second book.   [spp-transcript]   Connect with Gav Gillibrandhttps://www.linkedin.com/in/gav-gillibrand/ (LinkedIn) https://web.facebook.com/gavin.gillibrand/?_rdc=1&_rdr (Facebook) https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-health-fitness-lifestyle-show/id1446778964 (Podcast) https://gavgillibrand.com/ (Website) Andrew’s bookshttps://amzn.to/3qrfHjX (How to Start Building Your Wealth Investing in the Stock Market) https://amzn.to/2PDApAo (My Worst Investment Ever) https://amzn.to/3v6ip1Y (9 Valuation Mistakes and How to Avoid Them) https://amzn.to/3emBO8M (Transform Your Business with Dr.Deming’s 14 Points) Andrew’s online programshttps://valuationmasterclass.com/ (Valuation Master...

Last time we talked to Purple from A Purple Life, she told us about her plan to retire at the end of 2020. If you haven’t listened to that interview, you can listen to it here to get the full scoop on Purple’s journey from a $5,000 net worth to hundreds of thousands within only a few years. Like many financially savvy early retirees, Purple put a lot of time into planning, saving, and investing her capital in order to retire in her early 30s. Well, she did it! As of October 2020, Purple is financially independent and retired! So, how’s it going so far with financial independence in Purple’s world?Purple talks about her hobbies, interests, and most importantly, how the final month of her employment went with her former employer. She also gives some great insight on taking advantage of her employer’s health insurance for the last month of work, making sure that she was able to keep her quarterly bonus, and how she ended up breaking the news to her boss. It’s all worked well for Purple, but she did have some big plans to cancel. Purple had lined up 4 months worth of travel that all had to be canceled when COVID-19 hit and shutdowns began. She would have been snorkeling in Australia and scootering in Thailand right now! Thankfully, Purple has been able to adapt and take advantage of this off time to assess her financial situation and what she wants out of early retirement. In This Episode We CoverThe importance of planning for early retirement even if you love your jobHaving a lean FI number and low monthly expense so you can live comfortably in retirement How long a cash cushion should last you when you decide to retire Taxable vs. Non-taxable retirement accounts (and which to leverage)Ending your employment in a respectful and polite way Being flexible with your retirement plans And So Much More!

Andy Baggott is a healer, author and spiritual teacher. He has studied with masters from many traditions including Celtic, Native American, South American and Chinese. His current work focuses on empowering people to connect with their inner wisdom, so that they may achieve health, happiness and fulfilment. He is a trained acupuncturist, natural nutritionist and Tai Chi teacher, as well as a practicing shaman from the Celtic and pre-Celtic tradition. He lectures and teaches extensively, as well as running a busy healing practice from his home in Somerset, England. In this truly illuminating episode, Andy begins by sharing how his life has brought him what he wanted but in a very unexpected and challenging way. Andy then goes on to explain how we carry inside, everything we need to learn about ourselves and how it is our relationships with other people, that give us an opportunity to work on our issues. Andy talks about why the fear of loss make us hold on to things that could be restricting ourselves from new and expansive experiences and how, especially in these times, it's important to remain present and flexible and not resist the lessons that life brings us. He talks about how many people are living in what the Daoist call “what if and if only” which then bases your expectations of the  future on your experiences of the past and will guarantee to keep your happiness in the future, the antidote to fear in the future, is to trust in your path.Andy uses the analogy of the clear blue sky as our calm, clear, expansive consciousness, always there when we remove our emotional clouds and as a blank canvas on which to paint our lives. He talks about recognising stress signs in the body, why you shouldn't act on emotional feelings, the importance of changing yourself and leading by example rather than expecting others to do what you want. Andy gives fascinating guidance on navigating teenage parenting, how not to take things personally but instead to listen out for the emotions and energy behind words. He explains that all behaviour is communication, the depth of love we have for ourselves is the depth of love we can have for other people. We end the episode with Andy's advice on creating space within your home and how to punctuate your day by checking in on how you are feeling and taking a few deep breaths.Find Andy on http://www.andybaggott.comBlissology on AmazonLiving the Zen Arts World of BooksRecommended by Andy Head Space This series of Tilly At Home With is kindly sponsored by Wanderlust. A lot of people tend to believe that pulling off feats off excessive mobility (like hitting a full split) is the paragon of health in biomechanics. This is no always the case because with everything in the human performance space it will be specific to the individual. With Doctor Matthew Trimner, a chiropractor and podcast host of The Clinical Performance Podcast we dispel some misinformation about topics like flexibility, mobility, effects methods for stretching and stability. You’re Listening to the Street Smart Wealth Podcast, show 301. We have a lot to cover on today’s show - Our Monday Mantra - I stay focused on my true desire;  The challenges I have had with the Podcast, my website and other issues, which leads to today’s primary topic - Staying Flexible Building Your Solopreneur Business; and some shifts I am making to my Solopreneur business. Need some coaching to move you forward? My one on one and inner circle programs are LIVE! Are you looking for coaching to be successful in your Network Marketing business? Check the podcast archives on the blog at JackieUlmer.com for previous episodes if you missed any or are new to the show. I’m excited to share  with you that http://StreetSmartNetworker.com is now live. I have taken my 20 plus years of networking online and offline for success and created a training program to teach YOU how to create an endless stream of leads, prospects, sign ups and referral partners for your business. A lot of people GO to networking events. But few know how to monetize them. Now, you can be one of those few. Had a great conversation about Networking events with my interior designer, who hates networking events. Listen in as I share how that mindset of “Networking events don’t work” is a flawed thought process. They DO work. Like crazy. I’ve been to networking events where over half the people there are in some type of Network Marketing company. Staying Flexible Building Your Solopreneur Business What a wild few weeks it has been. Have you missed me (GRIN!) Let’s start with writing down our Monday Mantra - I stay focused on my true desire. I have really been tested around this topic lately, which makes this Mantra so fitting. First - iTunes and the Podcast. I have had some major website challenges with “instability” and iTunes kicked me out of the store this past week, after my “RSS Feed” for my podcast began going up and down. Techie stuff is NOT my strength or forte, and I am still in the process of getting it fixed. And, I WILL get it fixed. I had a choice when it happened. Freak out; fall into a deep pit of despair, since it is a major source of leads and traffic, or take a deep breath, repeat the mantra and remember that above all, I am on track with the topic - Staying Flexible Building Your Solopreneur Business!” People quit, people say no, websites go up and down. Shizzle happens! How we react controls everything. I am fully focused on my end goal and true desire, so I am not going to get frazzled by the little things that are fixable. Have you read Rich Dad, Poor Dad or Cashflow Quadrant by Robert Kiyosaki? I read these in 1998 ish and they changed my whole perspective on what I am building. I am building a business asset for the long haul. Are you? When you know what you love, desire and are working toward, it’s easy to push through the little challenging obstacles and just keep going!! You just have tunnel vision when you have a goal.  Keep going, no matter what. As I mention on the show, I have some shifts going on in my business. I would love to discuss these with you if you are open and looking. http://WorkWithJackie.com - and let’s have a conversation! And remember each day that you are Staying Flexible Building Your Solopreneur Business! I LOVE and appreciate reviews! In this one hour audio podcast episode, you will learn haunted house scare acting ideas from Darryl Plunkie (my co-host and scare actor at Dedmonton House) and pick up a few tips from (me) Brian Foreman on Managing the Dead Factory Haunted House in Mexico, Missouri.     Scare Acting Stories and Ideas from Deadmonton House Darryl Plunkie, co-host of HaunTopic Radio and Haunted House Scare Actor at Deadmonton House-Canada, knows his way around a Haunted Attraction. Passionate about Horror and Halloween most of his life, he has helped many themed events prepare before the big show by decorating and filling the rooms with a warm body whenever Scare Acting duty calls. Darryl believes in not just scaring the patron walking through the Haunt but to ENTERTAIN the patron. "People are either paying with their money or their time....sometimes making them laugh can get them off guard just enough and sets them up for the next scare. If you can't scare them, make them at least remember you." Darryl also throws in Things to Say as a Scare Actor, What to do in an Emergency, and Scare Tactics You Can Try.     Managing the Dead Factory Haunted House I have been doing this thing called 'Haunting' since I was a teenager but didn't really know it was a thing until around 2004. I started out as a volunteer Scare Actor helping my brother at a local area Haunted House. When that place closed down, we decided to build an outdoor haunt behind my brother's property called Backwoods Terror. That lasted a few years until circumstances led for us to shut the doors on that haunt venture. I moved on to decorating my garage for trick-or-treaters (called Home Haunting) and practiced my decorating and scaring techniques for a few more years. This all led up to The Dead Factory in Mexico, Missouri. This is where I am Co-owner, manager, decorator, and wear many other hats as a Hauntrepreneur. I go over Staying Flexible as a Haunt Manager, Where we are spending our budget next year, and a peek behind the doors of my Haunted Attraction- The Dead Factory.     Bonus Material in this podcast Marketing ideas from Tyler Barnett and Phillip Hernandez (Marketing Monday-Haunted Attraction Network) A sample soundtrack from inside The Dead Factory Haunted House. 3 NEW Haunt Happenings from within the Haunted Attraction Industry   Start getting Tips to be a Better Haunter & our podcasts in your email.
