The most famous shipwreck in the world is undoubtably the RMS Titanic. Despite sinking 114 years ago, we remain fascinated. What's less well known is the human stories that go along with the vessel. An immersive exhibition - 'Titanic: The Human Story' makes it's NZ debut later this month. Jesse spoke to the exhibition's creator Luis Ferreiro Aguirre. New Realities with Alan Steinfeld Contact, Channeling, and the Human Story of Disclosure Alan Steinfeld speaks with Jess Herman about childhood contact memories, hybrid-program experiences, channeling the Vagrions, multidimensional identity, and how disclosure may expand humanity's understanding of consciousness. Guest Spotlight: Jess Herman Jess Herman is a channel, contactee, and creator connected with the channeled collective she identifies as the Vagrions. In this conversation, she shares deeply personal accounts of childhood contact memories, psychic abilities, hybrid-program experiences, channeling, pranic healing, and her mission to help people move toward unity consciousness, radical self-acceptance, and trust in their own joy. Consciousness, Contact, and the Beginning of Jess's Story In this episode of New Realities, host Alan Steinfeld introduces the program as an exploration of consciousness, UFO phenomena, contactees, and the possibility that contact itself may be part of human evolution. He welcomes Jess Herman, describing her as one of his favorite people and noting that she channels the Vagrions while also appearing to have contactee experiences. Jess begins by explaining that she does not remember a childhood before contact. Her parents framed her early experiences as vivid dreams, but she now sees them as something more structured, recurring, and unusual. Childhood Experiences, Psychic Training, and the Grays Jess describes childhood memories in Montreal where time seemed to slow, the street outside her window became strangely still, and she would later find herself in sterile, hospital-like environments with other children. She compares some of these memories to later depictions in shows such as Stranger Things, especially scenes involving children practicing psychic abilities. Jess says the experiences felt organized, like a program with structure and purpose, and recalls being around other children as well as beings she identifies as grays. She explains that memories of medical-style procedures were frightening, partly because of the coldness and lack of emotional interaction she felt from the beings involved. Hybrid Children, Pregnancy Loss, and Psychic Disclosure A major part of the conversation centers on Jess's belief that she was involved in a hybrid program. She describes experiences beginning around age sixteen and later connects them to pregnancies, miscarriages, and what she believes were hybrid children or beings connected to her. Jess recounts one pregnancy that medically appeared to be developing before the fetus was no longer found, and another pregnancy involving twins in which one baby later disappeared. She says she was psychically informed that her body had been used as part of a program, that she had “signed up” for this work, and that the beings involved later allowed her to step away from the hybrid-program role. Channeling the Vagrions and the Mission of Self-Acceptance Jess explains that channeling came naturally to her, as though it was something she already knew how to do. She connects this ease with earlier training, psychic ability, and healing experiences, including her discovery of pranic healing. Her mission with the Vagrions is described as sharing messages of unity consciousness and radical self-acceptance. Jess says the Vagrions emphasize following joy, trusting the self, appreciating each person's unique individuation, and dissolving insecurity around worthiness and love. In her view, if enough people stepped into their power and made more fulfilling choices, many of the world's problems could shift within a generation. Multidimensional Identity, ET Contact, and the Nature of Reality Alan and Jess explore contact through a broader metaphysical lens, discussing starseeds, Arcturian and Pleiadian connections, mantis beings, nonverbal autistic children, telepathy, parallel dimensions, and the idea that people may exist simultaneously in more than one form or realm. Jess describes herself as having interactions that feel like going to a ship, waiting in a room, and meeting with beings in a corporate or boardroom-like setting. She also shares missing-time experiences, including one while driving near Lake Placid and another in Malta near ancient cart tracks. These stories become part of a larger discussion about how the self may exist both inside time and outside it, with the physical body understood as one expression of a much larger essence. Disclosure, Creation, and Learning to Stay Calm Around Contact The conversation eventually turns toward the historical moment of disclosure and the possibility that humanity is meeting the unknown in a new way. Jess and Alan discuss how alien contact, consciousness, time, physicality, creativity, and manifestation may all be part of the same unfolding story. Jess emphasizes that creation does not have to be a struggle, and that people are already creating reality through their perspective and assumptions. She also advises listeners who want more contact experiences to become emotionally steady around the subject, because fear or overexcitement may signal that a person is not yet ready for deeper interaction. “Stories … are powerful tools that can help us make sense of our lives,” says physician-scientist Maya Adam. She now combines visual storytelling and health education to create animations that go beyond the barriers of language and culture to convey important health messages. The subject matter ranges from vaccine acceptance and addiction to mental health and nutrition. These emotionally engaging narratives – often without a single spoken word – are more effective than traditional pamphlets and lectures, Adam says. Visual stories have the potential to achieve “near-universal understanding” that can support better health outcomes, she tells host Russ Altman on this episode of Stanford Engineering's The Future of Everything podcast.
