We're back with the freshest takes after the Hungarian Grand Prix! This episode is packed with all the juicy deets, from team drama to some wild F1 history. Let's get into it! McLaren's Winning Streak is giving "Icons Only" ✨ OMG, you guys, McLaren just clinched their 200th Grand Prix victory at Hungary, making them second only to Ferrari (who has 248 wins). Mercedes is third with 130 wins, and Red Bull is fourth with 124. And get this—McLaren's four straight 1-2 finishes? It's only the second time they've done that, with the first being way back in 1988. Ferrari has five straight 1-2 finishes in 1952 and 2002, Mercedes had five straight in 2014, from late 2015 to early 2016, and again in 2019. Ferrari & Red Bull's Hungarian GP Meltdown: The Tea is HOT! ☕ Okay, so what happened with Ferrari and Leclerc in Hungary? Apparently, the team is at a loss to explain his collapse. And get this, after the Hungarian GP, Leclerc has only turned one of his last 16 poles into a win (the 2024 Monaco GP, for those keeping track). Red Bull is also spilling the tea on their own GP meltdown, revealing what went wrong. Mercedes is Catching a Vibe!

In Podcast #358, Jessica Ray fills in for John Davis on hosting duties this week. This episode features two half a million dollar dream machines from across the pond…Aston Martin's Vanquish in drop top form and the latest Bentley Continental GT Speed, which also happens to be the most powerful road-going Bentley out there. Plus while no longer owned by Volvo, the all-electric Polestar brand is still making and selling cars, now trying their hand at a crossover with the all-new Polestar 3. Then a Lightning Round regarding some new details on the return of the Honda Prelude sports coupe and a listener has a question about the future of collectible cars.
This week on The Fast Ones, Max and Mike dive headfirst into an unexpected but glorious mashup of 80s music nostalgia, steamy racing fiction, and of course, the Hungarian Grand Prix. The episode opens with an ode to Toto—yes, the band—followed by a deep dive into their hidden connection to Michael Jackson's Thriller, and the math-rock genius of 80s studio bands. From there, things take a sharp turn as Max reveals his "book of the week": Overtake My Heart, a Daniel Ricciardo-themed erotic novel that's somehow both hilarious and unsettling—and might just have been written by the Honey Badger himself. When the tire smoke clears, the guys break down the Hungarian GP: Lando's redemption win, Oscar's quiet dominance, Charles Leclerc's cryptic radio messages, George Russell's whiny post-race meltdown, and Aston Martin's mysterious return to form. There's also love for Ollie Bearman, speculation about Lewis Hamilton's future (is he retiring or just dropping merch?), and a passionate defense of Haas—the only F1 team you really need to root for. It's part racing analysis, part fever dream, and all gas, no brakes.
In this episode of the EverythingF1 Podcast, hosts Sean and Coops review the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Round 14 in Hungary gave us strategy battles, emotional radio messages, and a glimpse of shifting power in the paddock. In this week's episode, we recap a surprisingly tactical race at the newly upgraded Hungaroring...a.k.a “Monaco without the walls.” From the brand-new pit building to Alonso sitting out FP1 with a back injury, it was an unusual weekend from the start. We unpack the shock of Max Verstappen's terrible performance (starting P8 and finishing ninth), Leclerc's calm control from pole turning into radio rage, and the behind-the-scenes drama at McLaren as Norris and Piastri went head-to-head. McLaren secured their 200th F1 win and the fastest pit stop of the season... but were team orders the right call? Off-track, we dig into Max confirming he's staying at Red Bull, Fred Vasseur's re-signing with Ferrari, and some cute moments in Pat's social corner, from “girl dinner” memes to the F1 x 75th anniversary merch drop and Kimi Antonelli's viral high school moment in that Adidas bomber. Aston Martin scored their best result since Brazil 2023. Could this be a sign that "Adrian Newey" is already leaving his mark? We cover all that, plus our random moment of the week and green flag/red flag to close out the last race before summer break. Thinking about your next car? Nine-time Le Mans winner, Tom Kristensen, and Fox Sports Mexico journalist, Diego Mejia, join Tom Clarkson in the Budapest paddock to dissect a thrilling strategy battle at the Hungarian Grand Prix. After losing two places at the start, how did Lando Norris make the one-stop strategy work to take his fifth victory of the season? What did the guys make of Oscar's late lunge into turn 1 on the penultimate lap? Lando joins the pod briefly to share whether he did anything in the car to avoid contact with Oscar. And with just nine points separating the McLaren teammates with 10 races left, who's the momentum with going into the summer break? Charles Leclerc took a shock pole position on Saturday, so why did he end up finishing off the podium after leading from the start? Did Ferrari get his strategy wrong? And after Lewis Hamilton described himself as ‘absolutely useless' following another disappointing qualifying session, where does the seven-time World Champion go from here? George Russell secured his sixth podium of the season and his first since winning in Canada. Why were Mercedes quicker in Hungary after a difficult European leg of the season? And how will the news that Max Verstappen is staying at Red Bull in 2026 help Russell and Kimi Antonelli going forward? Also on the agenda: Gabriel Bortoleto's career-best finish in P6, Aston Martin's incredible turnaround from Spa and a disappointing weekend for Red Bull.
In this week's episode, Zoe is joined by Neha Sridhar to discuss the Hungarian GP. They discuss Charles Leclerc's impressive pole position, the different McLaren strategies, Lewis Hamilton's tough weekend, Aston Martin's strong showing, and what we should expect from the remaining 10 races. Enjoy the summer break, friends!

Ferrari fans, look away—this one hurt. In Hungary, the Scuderia managed to hit rock bottom, then grabbed a shovel and kept digging. Lewis Hamilton straight-up called himself “useless” and even suggested that Ferrari should just replace him. Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc snagged pole on Saturday, only to have his race blown to pieces by a last-minute setup change. Talk about emotional damage... On the other end of the grid: McLaren's cooking. Lando Norris pulled off a savage one-stop strategy and danced his way to the top step. Oscar Piastri followed close behind, and now leads the championship by just 8 points. That McLaren garage is starting to feel real tense. Also in this spicy weekend:

The 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix turned the F1 world upside down with yet another Lando Norris twist AND some surprise winners...and big losers.Climb the ladder with me over on Patreon: https://patreon.com/lawvsMcLaren celebrated a landmark 200th victory in F1 as Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri delivered a commanding 1-2 finish, showing off perfect teamwork and strategy as Ferrari folded in awkward fashion. Gabriel Bortoleto stole the spotlight with a career-best drive to sixth holding off legends and proving he's here to stay as a rapidly interesting rookie. Aston Martin bounced back into form with strong finishes from Alonso and Stroll while George Russell secured another podium for Mercedes thanks to going back on failing upgrades and cooler weather. Liam Lawson continued to raise eyebrows with another points finish keeping the Racing Bulls in the midfield battle and Isack Hadjar wishing for better fortunes. The action-packed weekend wasn't all celebrations though as Ferrari and Charles Leclerc failed to convert a pole to a shock win and just...lost it. Not as badly as Red Bull though who struggled with grip and strategy with Verstappen and Tsunoda missing out on all but two points...oh dear! Williams, Haas and Alpine all endured tough races too...

Oscar Piastri has lost two race wins to Lando Norris purely on luck! First, Silverstone, and second was today in Hungary. We predicted this "race strategy situation" in our race preview. The second McLaren (Norris, in this case) on the road would get the favoured tyre strategy in the race while the first McLaren (Piastri, in this case) would go chase Charles Leclerc for the race win. Was McLaren fair with their drivers who are the only two contenders for the Drivers' Championship in 2025? Did McLaren favour one driver or the other in the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix? Or did they maximise the team's result of a 1-2 finish irrespective of which driver finished first? And finally, was Norris a lucky winner of the Hungarian Grand Prix, a race where was the "slower" of the two McLarens and was in fact overtaken by two other cars (George Russell & Fernando Alonso) at the race start? Btw, Norris was very lucky that Alonso chose to not battle with him when the DRS was enabled. Why? Alonso, who was also on the one-stop, was the thorn in everyone else's race strategy. He executed a "Monaco-style" strategy at the Hungaroring (also known as "Monaco without the walls"). He bunched up the field and messed up tyre strategy for the other midfielders. Fair play to Aston Martin & Alonso who scored the team's best result of the season and maximised their points to jump two spots in the Constructors' Championship. Finally, Charles Leclerc revealed that the mysterious issue that he faced in the race wasn't the "front wing" adjustment at his pit stop, but in fact, an issue with his chassis that compromised his pace. Leclerc continued to not add to his already embarrassing "pole to win" conversion rate in Formula 1. Lewis Hamilton, on the other hand, had another race to forget. He was one of those who was done in by Alonso's "slow pace" to finish 5th strategy. Sauber's Gabriel Bortoleto impressed throughout the weekend and was the "Driver of the Day". As the summer break looms upon us, the question is whether Lando Norris will be comfortable knowing that he's brought the gap down to just 9 points, or whether he will know at the back of his head that Oscar Piastri would've actually been further ahead in the title battle if he was a tad bit luckier in two races - Silverstone and Hungary. Soumil Arora and Kunal Shah discuss the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix and how it all played out in strategy. #F1 #F12025 #HungarianGP Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Join host Tom Horrox and panelist George Howson as they look ahead to the twists, turns, and tyre talk of the Hungarian Grand Prix – where overtaking is rare, but chaos is never off the table. In this episode, the team breaks down the chances of every squad on the grid, from front-runners to midfield maybes, and debates who's most likely to shine at the tight and technical Hungaroring. Can Ferrari keep their form? Is this where Mercedes finally deliver? And does anyone know what's going on at Aston Martin? We also take a trip down memory lane, revisiting classic Hungarian GP moments – from surprise wins to famous fails – before George launches into another impassioned rant about Alpine's ongoing identity crisis, and Tom nervously watches Kimi Antonelli's lap times, praying he continues to outscore Alex Albon and win him a bet. All that plus weekend predictions, one-lap pace hot takes, and a whole lot of Hungarian history!
The long sprint weekend at Spa is in the books, and while the rain delayed the start by 90 minutes, the racing action eventually delivered—mostly. We break down all the key storylines from Belgium, including one of Lewis Hamilton's worst-performing weekends in recent memory—but credit where it's due, the recovery drive on Sunday showed flashes of the old magic. McLaren dominated yet again, locking out P2 and P3 in the Sprint, then storming to a 1-2 finish in the GP. Oscar Piastri took center stage with a bold, lap-one move in the wet that set him up for a gritty and well-deserved first win of the season. Charles Leclerc snuck back onto the podium, while Aston Martin suffered a weekend to forget, showing no pace and no progress. Despite some drama, the race itself veered dangerously close to dull—thanks to weather delays and processional racing once the track dried out. Grab a coffee (or a waffle), and let's debrief Spa.
On this week's episode of The MacRumors Show, we talk through this week's announcement of AppleCare One and automakers' opting out of CarPlay Ultra. AppleCare One is Apple's new subscription for customers to cover multiple devices with a single plan. It starts at $19.99 per month for up to three products, with the ability to add more for $5.99 per month for each additional device. The plan incudes all of the benefits that come with AppleCare+, such as unlimited repairs for accidents, priority support, battery coverage, and more. Subscribers can freely move their devices in and out of the plan at any time. AppleCare One also enables users to add products they already own that are up to four years old, providing they are in good condition, extending beyond the current 60-day window to purchase AppleCare+. When a customer trades in a covered product with Apple, it is automatically removed from their AppleCare One plan and replaced with the new device. AppleCare One also expands theft and loss protection to the iPad and Apple Watch. Previously, it was only available for the iPhone. AppleCare One's pricing is the same regardless of the products that are covered. Apple says that a customer who enrolls their iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch could save up to $11 per month versus enrolling in separate AppleCare+ plans for each device. Customers in the United States can now sign up for AppleCare One on their iPhone, iPad, or Mac, or by visiting an Apple Store. We also discuss the news that automakers including BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Volvo, Polestar, Renault, and General Motors will not support CarPlay Ultra. It seems to be a major retreat from Apple's 2022 announcement, which originally named 14 automakers as future CarPlay Ultra partners. CarPlay Ultra goes far beyond traditional CarPlay by taking control of the entire dashboard experience. The system displays vehicle information like temperature, speed, and fuel levels alongside iPhone apps, creating what Apple calls "a unified and consistent experience across all the driver's screens." Currently, only Aston Martin offers CarPlay Ultra in production vehicles. Hyundai and its Kia and Genesis cars remain committed partners, while Porsche plans future support. Other originally announced brands like Ford and Nissan have provided no updates on their CarPlay Ultra plans.
