Seelentröster ChatGPT – Kann KI die Psyche heilen?

Puls

On this special episode of the GeekWire Podcast, recorded backstage at the GeekWire Gala at the Showbox Sodo, we sit down with five of the inventors, scientists, and entrepreneurs selected as the Seattle region's 2025 Uncommon Thinkers, in partnership with Greater Seattle Partners. Jeff Thornburg spent years building rocket engines for Elon Musk at SpaceX and Paul Allen at Stratolaunch. Now, as CEO of Portal Space Systems, he's moved past chemical rockets to revive a concept NASA studied decades ago but never pursued — a spacecraft powered by focused sunlight. He calls it a "steam engine for space." Read the profile. Anindya Roy grew up in rural India without electricity, came to the U.S. with two suitcases and $2,000, and earned a spot in the lab of a Nobel Prize winner. Now, as co-founder of Lila Biologics, he's using AI to design proteins from scratch (molecules that have never existed in nature) to treat cancer. Read the profile. Jay Graber runs Bluesky, the decentralized social network that's become a leading alternative to X and other centralized platforms. But while most tech CEOs build moats to lock users in, Jay and the Bluesky team are building a protocol designed to let them leave. She sees the network as a "collective organism," and she's creating a tech foundation meant to outlive her own company. Read the profile. Read the profile. Kiana Ehsani came to Seattle from Iran for her PhD and spent four years at the Allen Institute for AI before becoming CEO of Vercept. She and the Vercept team are competing directly with OpenAI, Google and others in AI agents, building efficient agents that handle mundane digital tasks on computers so humans can spend less time on screens. Read the profile. Brian Pinkard spent six months after college flipping rocks and building trails because he wanted to do work that mattered. That instinct led him to Aquagga, where he's proving that the industry standard of filtering and burying "forever chemicals" is obsolete. Instead, he's using technology originally designed to destroy chemical weapons to annihilate PFAS under extreme heat and pressure. Read the profile. Eagle-eyed readers may have noticed we're missing one honoree — Chet Kittleson, co-founder and CEO of Tin Can, the startup making WiFi-enabled landline phones to help kids connect without screens. Chet wasn't able to join us, but we plan to speak with him on a future episode. With GeekWire co-founder Todd Bishop. Edited by Curt Milton.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In this episode, Dean Horswell chats with Susan Schneider, as they discuss her book, Artificial You: AI And The Future of Your Mind and the subject of Alien Intelligence and A.I.Dr. Susan Schneider is a philosopher and cognitive scientist whose work focuses on AI consciousness, the simulation hypothesis, and the future of intelligence. Her recent research spans questions such as whether advanced AI systems could be conscious, what it would mean if we live in a computer simulation, how consciousness relates to quantum mechanics, the emerging “epistemology” of AI chatbots, and how we might understand the nature of alien superintelligence.Dr. Schneider is the Founding Director of The Center for the Future of AI, Mind and Society at Florida Atlantic University. Previously, she served as the NASA–Baruch Blumberg Chair in Astrobiology and Technological Innovation at NASA, held the Distinguished Scholar Chair at the Library of Congress, and was a fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. Her book, Artificial You: AI and the Future of  Your Mind, explores the philosophical implications of artificial intelligence, with a special focus on AI consciousness, mind design, and brain–machine interfaces (BMIs). She argues that the mind is not a ‘program' and that the most intelligent alien life in the cosmos is likely to be superintelligent AI rather than biological beings.Schneider's recent work develops Superpsychism, the view that our spatiotemporal universe may be generated or structured by a massive qubit-based quantum computer, potentially a natural phenomenon rather than an artifact. She recently completed a three-year project with NASA on advanced alien intelligence as AI and serves as an advisor to Prism: the Partnership for Research into Sentient Machines. She is a co-director of the MPCR Lab at FAU's new Gruber Sandbox, a research facility which builds AI systems informed by neuroscience and philosophy of mind. She appears frequently on television shows on stations such as PBS and The History Channel (see below for clips).  She writes opinion pieces for venues such as the New York Times, Scientific American, The Wall Street Journal and The Financial Times.

This week on TechTime Radio, a state-backed cyber scheme hiding in plain sight. That's where we start: identity rental, deepfaked interviews, and remote tooling that let North Korean operators slip into real jobs at real companies. We unpack how recruiters lure engineers, what data they demand, and the quiet ways compromised devices become corporate backdoors. Then we get practical—clear verification steps for HR, device attestation, network controls, and a tighter handshake between hiring and security teams. From the office to the bookstore, we shift to the uneasy rise of AI-written titles and the complicated dance between reader demand, author craft, and copyright risk. We talk labels, discovery, and the thin line between helpful tools and hollow literature. Policy heats up as Australia forces a sweeping under-16 social media lockout. We parse the benefits, the whiplash, and the risk of driving teens to unmoderated spaces, and outline smarter safeguards like verified age gates, default privacy, and digital literacy. Then comes the jaw-dropper: researchers discover that stylized poetry can jailbreak safety systems across multiple chatbots. We explore why “style attacks” work, where current guardrails fail, and how to harden models with adversarial training, independent moderation, and server-side checks. Entertainment gets its own tremor as a rumored Netflix–Warner Bros.–HBO deal sparks questions about catalog control, competition, and what it means for your monthly subscriptions. And yes, we leave room for levity: the London velodrome's accidental “sound effect,” a raccoon's ill-fated whiskey tasting, and a cautionary tale of an AI agent that wiped a developer's entire drive without a confirmation. We close with our whiskey finals—WhistlePig PiggyBack Bourbon versus Bakta 1928 Rye—and crown a champion after a tight, flavor-first showdown. In this episode of The Digital Marketing Podcast, Daniel Rowles and Ciaran Rogers dive into one of the most significant shifts in digital marketing: the rise of non keyword signals and what it means for search, privacy, and the future of campaign targeting. With AI-powered ad platforms like Google's AI Max and social algorithms driven by behavioural data rather than search intent, the old model of keyword-driven marketing is rapidly giving way to something more opaque, more personalised, and potentially more invasive. Daniel and Ciaran explore how AI systems now use a vast array of signals, from your browsing patterns and email content to your location history and viewing habits, to anticipate what you might want before you even search. But what does this mean for marketers who've spent years honing their SEO and PPC strategies? And what does it mean for user privacy in a world where your chatbot conversations may be fuelling ad targeting? In This Episode: What are non keyword signals? Understand how platforms like Google and Meta are using behaviour, context and historical activity instead of just search terms. Why your impressions are up but clicks are down Learn how AI summaries in Google Search are reducing organic click-throughs, even when your rankings are strong. AI Max campaigns and keywordless targeting Discover how Google Ads is shifting towards AI-led campaigns that rely on intent and engagement signals rather than keyword triggers , and why some brands are seeing 20–30% uplift as a result. What Meta's CMO said about disconnected content Hear how Alex Schultz explained the shift from connected (likes, follows) to disconnected content (Reels, Stories, Shorts), and what that means for social strategy. Privacy concerns and grey areas Explore the implications of Meta's new terms allowing AI chat interactions to inform ad targeting, and whether AI chat data could be inadvertently shared or commercialised. Real-world scenario: Chatbots used for lead capture Daniel raises a powerful example, what if you offered a free AI chatbot to other brands, then harvested user intent data for your own ad targeting? Platform security, data visibility and agent risks From OneDrive access errors to AI agents managing your logins, the hosts discuss the human errors that AI amplifies, and the need for robust security practices. Key Takeaways: We're entering a post-keyword era Platforms are using AI to interpret intent through broader, richer data sources, including chat behaviour, video viewing and app usage. Organic traffic is being cannibalised by AI summaries Even if your visibility improves, actual user clicks may continue to decline. Privacy risks are growing Terms and conditions are changing, and conversations with AI tools may no longer be as private as they seem. Marketing teams must audit how they use AI Understand what data your AI tools are accessing and how that data could be used, now and in the future. Too many business owners are trying to use AI as a shortcut to fire people instead of using it to multiply the output of their best people. And that mindset is killing their growth. Matt Leitz has been building automation systems for 7- and 8-figure companies long before AI went mainstream. He's seen inside the machines powering 9-figure brands… and the truth is simple: automation isn't optional anymore. If you want to scale, you need a business that compounds output without requiring more of your time. Matt breaks down how to use AI as leverage — not as a crutch. He shares where founders get stuck, which systems create the highest ROI, how to turn funnels profitable even when ads lose money on day one, and how to build automations that drive revenue for years. If you've been trying to figure out how to integrate AI without breaking your business, this conversation will completely reset your framework.     Key Takeaways 00:00 Intro 01:36 You're Thinking About AI All Wrong 02:54 AI Agents and Chatbots 05:24 Start With Strategy, Not Technology 08:09 Why You Shouldn't Automate Reporting 11:22 Prompt Engineering is Easier Than You Think 16:04 How To Build & Leverage Custom GPTs 20:41 Collaborating With AI For Better Results 27:10 AI Tool that Boosts Sales Rep Performance 30:06 Why Tool-Hopping Slows Your Growth 31:50 Why Automation Is Required To Scale Big 35:35 Are Traditional Marketing Funnels Dead? 41:03 When to Focus ON or IN the Business 45:42 The Real Path To Scaling Ad Spend 54:03 Lead Offers vs. Maximizer Offers 01:02:06 Protecting Your Time Above Everything Else     Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/F96ncjHK8jI    Let's Connect: Website | Instagram | YouTube | TikTok | Twitter | Facebook

Youth Culture Today with Walt Mueller

Truth be told, I've been having some fun with AI. I've especially been having a good time with AI's ability to create songs, and to manufacture photos. And of course, I'm not alone. I'm not surprised that today's kids know a lot more about AI and how to leverage it than I will ever know. The Future Report Study found that in Europe, forty percent of teenagers us AI daily or almost daily. Many of their schools allow the use of an AI tool. In school, teens say they use AI to explain hard topics, get instant answers or feedback, make learning more fun, and to strengthen their ideas and problem solving skills. Out side of school, they are using AI to write and edit, to produce visual art, to create videos, and to design and build projects. We must remember that AI is not a neutral or benign tool. It will reshape its' users over time. We have to wonder if our kids will lose their creative thinking skills and ability to discern. Keep an eye on this parents. And, be sure to set limits on where your kids can go online.

Donate (no account necessary) | Subscribe (account required) Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he dives into today's top stories shaping America and the world. In this Holiday Week edition of The Wright Report, Bryan covers new investigations into the lawmakers known as the Seditious Six, breaking developments in the Charlie Kirk assassination case, President Trump's sweeping order to re-interview every refugee approved under Joe Biden, and a deep dive into the global AI Revolution. He also closes with listener questions, warnings about AI addiction, and early holiday shipping advice. FBI and Pentagon Probe the Seditious Six: Federal investigators are reviewing six Democratic lawmakers who urged military and intelligence personnel to resist hypothetical unlawful orders from President Trump. Senator Mark Kelly is under Pentagon scrutiny that could result in recall or charges as soon as December 10. Bryan explains how such calls create a culture of insubordination and how similar movements in countries like Pakistan and Egypt eventually led to military dominance over civilian government. Security Failures in the Charlie Kirk Assassination: New reporting shows that Charlie Kirk's head of security, Brian Harpole, flagged rooftop vulnerabilities on the Utah campus but accepted a vague assurance from the university police chief, who replied, "I got you covered." Bryan argues that professional security teams never outsource responsibility to campus police, outlining how Harpole should have pressed for plans, deployed his own team, or pulled Kirk from the event. An official investigation is ongoing, but Bryan says the early facts reveal basic failures that contributed to a preventable tragedy. Trump Orders Review of All Biden-Era Refugees: Bloomberg reports that all 200,000 refugees admitted under the Biden administration will be re-interviewed and reconsidered for green card eligibility. Those found to have been approved improperly will have their status revoked with limited appeals. Democrats plan to sue, although the White House cites widespread failures in vetting under Biden. Listener questions lead Bryan to explain why proper vetting was not possible — from fake IDs and nonfunctional federal databases to the absence of cultural fit screening. A Nation of Immigrants, but Not Without Standards: Bryan contrasts historical immigration patterns, which centered on European migrants who shared language and cultural norms, with modern arrivals from countries whose governments cannot verify identities or criminal history. He argues that America must re-embrace expectations of assimilation, loyalty, and work, echoing Theodore Roosevelt's warning about divided identities. China's AI Factories and the New Industrial Revolution: The Wall Street Journal reports that China is using AI-infused robots and fully automated "dark factories" to produce goods faster and cheaper with minimal human labor. Bryan answers a listener's question about AI bubbles and universal basic income, explaining why he believes AI will reduce the need for human workers, reshape immigration policy, and create a divide between nations that benefit and those that collapse under labor displacement. He warns that American tech companies are pursuing highly addictive chatbots designed for engagement rather than accuracy, creating what he calls "virtual heroin" for vulnerable users. U.S. Cargo Shortage Before Christmas: Bloomberg reports that UPS and FedEx have grounded portions of their fleets after an MD-11 crash in Louisville. UPS has lost about 10% of its cargo aircraft, and FedEx about 5%. Bryan advises listeners to order holiday gifts early to avoid potential delays.   "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." - John 8:32   Put a smile on your face and give joy to your taste buds… Give Masa and Vandy beef tallow chips a try today! The Trump administration has staked all its capital on pushing data centers for companies that power AI chatbots. We juxtapose this effort to the weak sauce on many other economic policies to show how the promises to stand for the common man are not being fulfilled. We're joined by Dr. Mitch Prinstein, chief of psychology at the American Psychological Association, who warns against a moratorium on state-based AI regulations. Dr. Prinstein shares thoughts from his riveting congressional testimony on the generational harms being caused to children from the sycophantic nature of chatbots supplanting human interactions. The harms are voluminous, and the need for guardrails is undeniable. We discuss how the very tech companies that broke the internet by transforming it into a data-mining and psychological manipulation tool are now being given free rein to exacerbate every existing mental health crisis among children.
