Wer sich schon einmal mit Verschwörungstheorien beschäftigt hat, der kam an Däniken nicht vorbei. Er stellte Thesen auf, wonach ein Mutterraumschiff um die Erde kreise, stellte die Evolutionstheorie in Frage und legte sich sogar mit der Kirche an, indem er behauptete, Gott sei in Wahrheit ein außerirdischer Gentechniker. So wirr das alles auch klingen mag, der Schweizer Autor beeinflusste damit viele Menschen. So kontrovers wie seine Bücher war auch sein Leben zwischen einem Aufenthalt im Gefängnis und einer indirekten Oscar-Nominierung. Over the last half century, probably nobody has had a more significant influence on alternative theories about humanity's deep history than Erich von Däniken. Today, there are a number of researchers, independent as well as tenured, who question the textbook narrative. But von Däniken has a very particular angle to it that many still hesitate to adopt, namely that extraterrestrial intelligence has had a crucial role in our evolution. When Chariots of the Gods was published over 50 years ago, Erich von Däniken was crushed by the mainstream. ”Because in that spirit of time, of course, extraterrestrials were nonsense”, he says. But large parts of the public have had a different view on the astonishing claims von Däniken makes. Over the decades, his now 45 books have sold 70 million copies, and many books have been made into films. Por Irmão Gilberto Madeira Ainda na adolescência, quando li pela primeira vez o livro Eram os Deuses Astronautas?, de Erich Von Däniken, algumas questões de cunho filosófico, religioso e físico têm me feito refletir sobre a origem das coisas com as quais me deparo. Sempre me pergunto: Será que somos os únicos habitantes do Universo? Terá sido o Big Bang, como diz a Física, a origem desse imenso Universo, ou o correto é o relato bíblico? Voltaremos ao pó do qual viemos ou somos realmente seres imortais com uma missão aqui na Terra? O que há nos “bastidores” dessa ou daquela narrativa? Há muito o que ser decifrado ainda, porque “agora vemos como por espelho, em enigma, mas então veremos face a face; agora conheço em parte, mas então conhecerei plenamente, como também sou plenamente conhecido” (BÍBLIA, I Coríntios, cap. 13, ver. 12) Assim, com essa mesma curiosidade e desejo de saber, entrei para a Maçonaria. Cada símbolo, cada significado me impulsiona a ir mais fundo para o meu melhor entendimento. Entendo que cada um anda na luz que tem, e as narrativas são construídas a partir dessa luz que cada um angariou no decorrer de sua vida. Além do que, nossa zona de conforto é, comumente, um obstáculo para que nos embrenhemos em terrenos desconhecidos. É mais fácil nos mantermos no mundo que nos é familiar do que sairmos para explorar o passado, na tentativa de descobrir quais mistérios estão na raiz das explicações presentes e construir uma visão de futuro. Contudo, a Maçonaria nos motiva a estudar, “[…] porque a ignorância é a mãe de todos os vícios e seu princípio é nada saber; saber mal o que se sabe e saber coisas outras além do que deve saber. […]” (GLESP, p.90). Quando li a trilogia de livros de Laurentino Gomes – 1808, 1822 e 1889 –, muitos dos relatos apresentados me causaram impacto frente ao que me havia sido ensinado na escola. As narrativas glamorosas dos livros de História caíram por terra. Como exemplo, cito os registros do Padre Belchior Pinheiro de Oliveira, que teria virado testemunha do grito do Ipiranga por acaso. Vigário da cidade mineira de Pitangui, era maçom e sobrinho de José Bonifácio de Andrada e Silva, e assim escreveu Gomes: “[…] Prostrado pelos problemas intestinais, o príncipe refugiou-se na modesta estalagem situada à beira do porto. Maria do Couto, responsável pelo estabelecimento, preparou-lhe um chá de folhas de goiabeira, remédio ancestral usado no Brasil contra diarreia. […]” (GOMES, p.344). Bem diferente daquele relato que nos fizeram acreditar – um príncipe garboso e altivo, montado num cavalo de grande porte, como pintado por Pedro Américo. Não há nada de errado no fato de o Príncipe Regente Dom Pedro estar doente com diarreia. O que não é digno é a necessidade de se fazer narrativas não verdadeiras, pois criam imagens distorcidas da realidade. Dentro dessa linha de raciocínio, de procurar a verdade oculta por trás de narrativas, tenho me dedicado a encontrar os tesouros maçônicos escondidos sob a areia do tempo. Desde que ouvi que a Maçonaria Moderna havia sido estabelecida em 1717, passei a me perguntar – e o que existe antes daquela data? Como era a Maçonaria Operativa? Qual a real origem da Maçonaria? A única resposta que eu tenho – e que considero verdadeira – é a que me faz acreditar que há um conhecimento ancestral no âmago da história e dos rituais maçônicos. E isso nos é afirmado na 1ª Instrução de Aprendiz que diz: “[…] a Maçonaria, no século XVIII, restabeleceu dentro de nossas Lojas a tradição dos ensinamentos esotéricos ministrados nos Santuários Egípcios […]” (GLESP, p. 67). Portanto, a própria Maçonaria deixa claro que há muito mais para trás. In fact, I argue that the megalithic structures are part of a complex network of sites that were used to convert the planet into a computer. Why a computer? One reason may have been to create a simulation for the beings on the planet (Why else would be people work for generations to build these structures?) The second reason may have been that ancient man figured out how to use these megalithic structures to PROGRAM THE UNIVERSE. Scientists are figuring out that these structures emit electromagnetic waves and that other structures are made of materials (crystals) that can store trillions of terabytes of data. Erich von Däniken does not assume that the Universe could be a computer and that we are living in a simulation, and because he didn't he can't imagine that our forefathers may have tried to program that simulation. In Ep 32, I take on Erich von Däniken's Ancient Aliens Theory and claim that ancient man (the man of the Bible) was a genius and did not need external help to create these megalithic structures. In fact, I argue that the megalithic structures are part of a complex network of sites that were used to convert the planet into a computer. Why a computer? One reason may have been to create a simulation for the beings on the planet (Why else would be people work for generations to build these structures?) The second reason may have been that ancient man figured out how to use these megalithic structures to PROGRAM THE UNIVERSE. Scientists are figuring out that these structures emit electromagnetic waves and that other structures are made of materials (crystals) that can store trillions of terabytes of data. Erich von Däniken does not assume that the Universe could be a computer and that we are living in a simulation, and because he didn't he can't imagine that our forefathers may have tried to program that simulation. Populariza sus hipótesis a través de sus numerosos libros, vídeos y programas de televisión. Recuerdos del futuro (en alemán: Erinnerungen an die Zukunft) es un libro escrito en 1968 por el autor suizo Erich von Däniken.
