What does Amazon Web Services (one of the worlds largest companies) have to do with agriculture? A lot more than most farmers probably realize. Dr. Karen Hildebrand joins Farm4Profit at Tech Hub LIVE to explain how AWS supports agricultural technology companies around the world and why she believes successful innovation has to start by working backward from the problems farmers actually need solved. Karen brings a unique perspective as both a technologist and a fourth-generation Manitoba farmer. The conversation explores the explosion of AI tools, how farmers can avoid technology overload, and why there probably isn't a single AI "golden nugget" that's suddenly going to make a farm profitable. Instead, Karen encourages farmers to use technology to eliminate the parts of the job they hate while protecting the relationships and experiences they value most.  The crew also tackles data, trust, connectivity, ag startups, data centers, and what AI could mean for the next generation. Karen explains why trust may be more valuable than data itself, why farmers should give technology companies honest feedback, and why AI could represent a technological shift as significant as the transition from horses to automobiles. We love romanticizing entrepreneurship stories—leaving a 9-to-5, raising millions, and watching a product take off. But what does it look like when you aren’t a developer, but you decide to build a tech company anyway? In this episode, practicing attorney and Vlawsity co-founder Kevin Barone joins me for a brutally honest reflection on building an online, do-it-yourself estate planning platform. Kevin opens up about leaving a big law firm, navigating complex legal guardrails, making big financial bets, and rebuilding from scratch. In this episode, we discuss: Why building a startup is harder than law school or the bar exam The legal precedents (and guardrails) that make non-lawyer legal tech possible Learning the hard way what non-technical founders don’t know about tech, marketing, and investor relations How Vlawsity makes estate planning accessible for a fraction of traditional firm costs Want to check it out for yourself? Threehalves is more than a bizarre engineering experiment, it is a sermon in steel preaching the dark gospel of the coming post-human world. A company calling itself Satyress has fashioned a seven-foot, horned, goat-headed monstrosity with the torso of a man, the body of a beast and mechanical arms designed to wield chainsaws and other instruments of power—all beneath the slogan “BECOME SUPERHUMAN.” They could have given it the neutral appearance of ordinary industrial machinery, but instead they deliberately clothed it in the imagery of the satyr and the Baphomet. That choice reveals how rapidly this generation is losing its natural revulsion toward the demonic, the grotesque and the unnatural. What previous generations would have recognized as an abomination is now photographed, promoted and applauded as innovation. And tick, tock, goes the end times clock.“And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.” Revelation 13:15 (KJB)On this episode of the Prophecy News Podcast, Threehalves is a chilling preview of the technological environment into which the Antichrist will step after the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church. The world is being conditioned to communicate with artificial entities, obey voices coming from machines, surrender decisions to algorithms and accept mechanical bodies possessing strength far beyond that of human beings. Revelation foretells an image that will speak and cause those refusing to worship the beast to be killed; our generation is now constructing speaking images, autonomous weapons and robotic enforcers without giving a second thought to where those technologies may ultimately lead. The Antichrist will not arrive in a world unprepared for him, he will enter a world already trained to accept artificial authority, digital surveillance, manufactured reality and satanic power masquerading as human progress. Some of the people building this system undoubtedly understand the darkness they are invoking, while many others sincerely believe they are merely creating helpful technology. But conscious cooperation is not required when “the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience” is steadily moving the whole world in the same direction. Artificial intelligence, transhumanism, digital identification, programmable money, global surveillance and weaponized robotics are converging to prepare the operational machinery of the coming kingdom of the beast. Threehalves is only one garage-built prototype, but its Baphomet-like form provides a startling picture of the spirit behind that approaching system: man attempting to transcend the boundaries established by God, merging himself with the machine and calling the resulting abomination “superhuman.” The Church is not waiting for Antichrist—we are waiting for Jesus Christ—but while we await That Blessed Hope, we should clearly be warning a lost and dying world that the stage is being set, the machinery is being assembled, and the “night cometh when no man can work” is rapidly approaching. Your King James Bible mentions satyrs multiple times, and today we show you how all this connects on the end times timeline.

Data shows that up to eighty percent (80%) of technology ventures fail—not because their technology doesn’t work, but because they fail to drive consumer adoption. Why? We dive deep into the engine room of the modern tech economy to explore how great ideas actually win hearts, minds, and lasting market share. Too many business builders treat branding as a superficial creative mask to be slapped onto a product at the very end of its development cycle. Our guest today—Lifang He—argues that this exact mistake is what kills promising products and drains investor capital. She should know. A standout global brand strategist and tech marketing leader, Lifang He brings nearly twenty years of masterclass experience driving go-to-market excellence for the world’s most influential market leaders. She grew up as a competitive athlete in China, stepped into the advertising arena with Wieden+Kennedy on the Nike business, and after moving to the U.S., landed inside Apple's dedicated global advertising agency, Media Arts Lab, where she helped orchestrate multiple global iPhone launches and worked on the historic “Shot on iPhone” campaign. From there, she built categories at Amazon, scaled product ecosystems at Ring, and directed brand integration for Amazon Pharmacy. Her career has been defined by building products and brands that scale fast and deliver results. What You Will Learn: How to identify overlooked opportunities in your local market Why sales is the non-negotiable skill that determines your entrepreneurial ceiling The framework for validating a business idea in five minutes instead of three months. How to delegate without losing control, the "monkey on the back" principle Why "delusional confidence" is a critical entrepreneurial asset The hidden cost of entrepreneurship that social media won't tell you How to build sustainable wealth by rejecting the "passive income" myth Why geography creates an unbreakable competitive moat in service businesses The critical life decision framework that most entrepreneurs ignore until it's too late How to inject fun and sustainable pace into building multiple businesses   If you enjoyed this episode, make sure to subscribe, rate, and review it on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube Podcasts.   About the Guest: Nick Huber is an entrepreneur and author known for championing the "sweaty startup" philosophy of building profitable, unglamorous service-based businesses that solve real problems in local markets. With a background in founding Storage Squad, a multi-state college storage business that grew to $1.5M in annual revenue over ten years, Huber has since expanded into real estate, recruiting, and construction engineering, managing over $120M in assets across 60+ properties. He is the author of *The Sweaty Startup*, which provides actionable strategies for founders seeking financial independence through proven, non-tech business models.   Quotes: "I don't care about any of that. I think I can make a little bit of money here doing some math on how much the competitor in our town is making. They're not very good at what they do. I think I can do it a little bit better, and they're making a ton of money. That's the recipe, in my opinion, for an opportunity." "I do not think entrepreneurship is right for everybody. I think it's right for a very small portion of people who are okay with chaos and are good salespeople. Every problem comes to you. You only hear about it if it's negative, if it's a bad thing. So I think that's right for a very small portion of the population, less than 1%." "Dealing with stress is a muscle. You have to exercise that. You gotta go to the gym and lift weights. I think dealing with these uncomfortable situations, whether it be sales or people problems, it's a muscle you have to exercise. Your tolerance for stress increases." "If you try to solve a fundamental problem in your town, if you close your laptop and look around you and figure out what problem is happening here, business starts to get a whole lot simpler and more approachable. You can trade your time for money at the beginning without taking all this risk. You can actually get paid to try it out by servicing some people."   Keywords: Primary Keywords (Core Themes): sweaty startup, service-based business, entrepreneurship, sales skills, business fundamentals, local business opportunities, delegation, team building, cash flow management, business growth strategy, founder mindset, decision-making in business Secondary Keywords (Related Subtopics): picking a business idea, competitive advantage, geographic moat, finding customers, hiring employees, problem-solving in business, uncommon business execution, business structure, profitability over growth, entrepreneur success factors, managing stress in business, scaling without venture capital   Episode Resources: Nick Huber on LinkedIn Nick Huber Website The Sweaty Startup Book World's Greatest Business Thinkers on Apple Podcasts World's Greatest Business Thinkers on Spotify World's Greatest Business Thinkers on YouTube

Video episode!Start Summit 2026, an event organized by students in Switzerland. Featuring an elevator and a challenge every entrepreneur knows well: explain a complex idea in 60 seconds without losing what truly matters. From Start Summit 2026 in St. Gallen, we recorded an Intangiblia Flash episode capturing the energy of a place where investors, founders, and inventors come together to accelerate, expand, and turn real technology into reality. The best founders don't treat intellectual property like paperwork, they treat it like strategy. I walk around the Start Summit, talking about patents, trademarks, open-source licensing, and the real reason IP matters to customers and investors. If you're building a startup and wondering what “defensible” actually means, these short interviews make it concrete in minutes. We talk about a dual approach that many deep tech companies overlook: patent the core hardware innovation while keeping software open source under a permissive license to drive adoption and let customers go deep without fear of IP constraints. Then we jump into consumer and assistive tech, including a cat health-monitoring station that measures intake, temperature, and more, plus a smartwatch built for people with cognitive impairments that uses symbols, schedules, and voice prompts. It's a reminder that product design, trust, and usability can be as important to protect as the underlying tech. An experienced investor and company builder shares why IP is a game-changer in biotech, medtech, semiconductors, and industrial technology, especially when partnerships or acquisitions are the likely path to scale. We also touch on common founder pitfalls, like filing too early, and why a strong IP portfolio is something you reinforce over time, not a snapshot you frame once. If you want more founder field notes like this, subscribe, share the episode with a builder friend, and leave a review with the smartest IP lesson you've learned so far.
