You can sleep eight hours, follow all the usual tips, and still feel foggy and sore. If recovery isn't improving, the problem usually is the environment you're ignoring at bedtime. In this episode of Habits & Hustle, I sit down with certified sleep coach Jack Dell'Accio to break down why “cooling” mattresses backfire, what actually drives REM and deep sleep, and how toxins and EMFs keep the nervous system stuck in survival mode. Jack Dell'Accio is a Certified Sleep Coach with over 20 years of experience studying restorative rest and sleep environments. He is the Founder and CEO of Essentia, a company focused on non toxic, organically made mattresses designed to support neurological and physical restoration. What's Discussed (01:12) Why mattresses are overlooked despite being the biggest sleep exposure (07:28) REM and deep sleep as drivers of brain detox and physical recovery (08:44) How EMFs alter blood behavior and keep the brain in defense mode (15:51) Why mattress toxins stimulate the nervous system and reduce deep sleep (21:39) How sleep tracking increases pressure and backfires on performance (24:08) Why most organic mattresses still rely on coils and fall short (29:22) How “cooling” mattresses fragment sleep through constant repositioning (42:51) Sleep hygiene versus sleep environment and why people confuse the two Thank you to our sponsors: Rho Nutrition: Try Rho Nutrition today and experience the difference of Liposomal Technology. High-performing professionals often feel drained by friendships even when nothing is wrong. In this episode, Julie Holly explores role fatigue, nervous system awareness, and how Identity-Level Recalibration restores belonging without performance. Why do some friendships leave you feeling depleted — even when there's no conflict, no fallout, and nothing obviously “wrong”?In this episode of The Recalibration, Julie Holly speaks directly to high-performing professionals and high-capacity humans who are successful on paper, responsible in their relationships, and quietly carrying more relational weight than they realize. This conversation explores how friendship fatigue is often not about the people — but about the role your nervous system learned to play. Drawing from psychology, nervous system awareness, and story-informed insight, Julie helps listeners recognize how early family dynamics shape present-day belonging, responsibility, and connection.Rather than offering mindset hacks or relational strategies, this episode introduces Identity-Level Recalibration (ILR) — not another productivity or mindset tactic, but the root-level recalibration that makes every other tool effective. ILR helps you notice what your system has been holding, without forcing action, confrontation, or loss. You'll hear why:Role confusion creates relational exhaustionLoyalty does not require self-abandonmentGratitude does not cancel discernmentRecognition is not a trigger for loss, but information your system can safely holdThis episode is especially resonant for those navigating:burnout recovery without collapsedecision fatigue in relationshipssuccess that still doesn't feel fulfillingidentity drift beneath competencespiritual exhaustion tied to performanceJulie gently reminds listeners that belonging does not require carrying the relationship alone — and that noticing this truth does not destabilize what you've built. This is an invitation into presence over performance, clarity without urgency, and connection rooted in identity rather than obligation.Explore Identity-Level Recalibration→ Join the next Friday Recalibration Live experience → Take your listening deeper! On this episode of Zen and the Art of Real Estate Investing, Jonathan Greene welcomes back Jose Berlanga, real estate developer, builder, and author, for a deep dive into land investing, development strategy, and the lessons learned from more than 30 years in the business. Returning to the show with his new book, Dirt Rich: Explore the World of Land Investing and Development, Jose shares how land deals played a critical role in capitalizing his construction company and shaping his long-term investment approach. The conversation explores the realities of land development, including zoning challenges, neighborhood resistance, entitlement risk, and why so many investors underestimate the complexity of building from the ground up. Jose explains the importance of repetition, local expertise, and understanding your niche, emphasizing that successful developers stick to what they know rather than constantly reinventing the wheel. Jonathan and Jose also discuss timing market cycles, the role of capital reserves during downturns, and why reputation, relationships, and integrity matter more than squeezing every dollar out of a single deal. The episode offers a grounded look at land as the foundation of all real estate value and why patience, vision, and long-term thinking are essential for lasting success. In this episode, you will hear: How land flipping helped fund and grow a construction business Why zoning, permitting, and community dynamics make land development complex The risks of jumping into development without experience or local knowledge Why repetition and staying in one niche lead to better outcomes How reputation and long-term relationships create deal flow over time Follow and Review If you enjoy the show, please follow Zen and the Art of Real Estate Investing on Apple Podcasts and leave a rating and review. In this episode, Mike welcomes Kevin Anderson, New York Times bestselling editor and founder of Kevin Anderson & Associates, the world's largest and most prestigious book-writing firm, for a candid conversation about growth, delegation, and the hidden power of publishing. Kevin brings decades of experience working behind the scenes with top entrepreneurs, executives, and thought leaders to help them scale their impact through books. Kevin breaks down the most common mistakes entrepreneurs make, including trying to do everything themselves and waiting too long to bring in professional support. He explains why delegation isn't optional for scaling and how letting go of control is often the pivotal shift that unlocks real growth. The conversation then turns to Kevin's unexpected path into ghostwriting, which evolved into a firm that now collaborates on nearly 500 books each year. He pulls back the curtain on how high-level ghostwriting actually works, how collaborative teams preserve an author's voice and credibility, and why books remain unmatched as authority and marketing assets. Mike and Kevin also tackle the role of AI in publishing, exploring why technology hasn't replaced human storytelling, and the risks authors face when they rely on it too heavily. Smart, sharp, and packed with real-world insight, this episode is essential for entrepreneurs, authors, and anyone ready to scale their business with intention.   IN THIS EPISODE: ➡️ THE AUTHORITY ADVANTAGE: How publishing a book transforms credibility into long-term influence and opportunity ➡️ HUMAN OVER HYPE: How AI hasn't replaced authentic storytelling or strategic thinking ➡️ BUILT TO LAST: Creating teams, systems, and leadership structures that support expansion without burnout ➡️ SCALING WITH INTENTION: Why delegation—not hustle—is the true catalyst for sustainable business growth

Parenting pressure can feel overwhelming even when nothing is “wrong.” This episode explores why exhaustion and control often signal identity-level misalignment — and how releasing false responsibility creates presence, steadiness, and trust. There comes a point for many parents — especially high-capacity humans — when responsibility quietly turns into pressure. You're still showing up.Still caring deeply.Still doing everything “right.”And yet, something feels heavy. In this Sunday episode of The Recalibration, Julie Holly explores the difference between authority and sovereignty — and how many parents unknowingly carry a level of responsibility they were never meant to hold. This conversation isn't about parenting strategies or behavioral change. It's about identity-level recalibration — the internal shift that happens when you stop trying to control outcomes and begin leading from presence instead of pressure.Drawing from faith, nervous system wisdom, and lived experience, Julie reflects on why burnout in parenting often isn't about effort or failure, but about misalignment at the root. When the nervous system is braced, authority tightens. When alignment returns, clarity and steadiness follow. This episode gently reframes exhaustion as information — not weakness — and offers reassurance for parents who worry:Am I opting out because I'm tired? What if my family is used to me holding everything? Is it too late to do this differently? You'll be reminded that:Regulation is not disengagementPresence is not abdicationIdentity inheritance is shaped by nervous systems, not timelinesThis is Identity-Level Recalibration — not mindset work, not productivity coaching, but the root-level realignment that allows every other tool to work again.Today's Micro Recalibration:Notice one place where you've been carrying more responsibility than was ever yours. Disc 39 shifts to age 39, offering an older, more peaceful perspective on a similar homecoming, shaped by creative renewal following his 2024 resolution with Kendrick Lamar.Nearly eight years after teasing the concept in KOD's "1985," The Fall Off evolves into a full-circle moment from Cole's debut era. Executive produced by J. Cole, Ibrahim “IB” Hamad, T-Minus, and Dreamville, the album maintains minimal features for a self-driven feel, with standout contributions from Future on “Run a Train,” Tems and Erykah Badu on “Bunce Road Blues,” Burna Boy on “Only You,” Westside Gunn on “The Villest,” and others. The rollout emphasized intimacy and scarcity: announced in January 2026, preceded by the Birthday Blizzard '26 EP (four freestyles hosted by DJ Clue on Cole's 41st birthday), and distributed direct-to-consumer via his official website for stronger fan ownership and data control. Selective press included one major interview, while fan-led listening events in homes, record stores, bars, and spaces like Brooklyn Public Library's Bars & Books gathering amplified community engagement over traditional hype.Thematically, subtle nods to the 2024 lyrical tensions appear, notably in the alternate-history track “What If,” imagining reconciliation. Analytic Dreamz explores how this strategic, narrative-first approach reinforces J. Cole's authenticity, prioritizing depth, loyalty, and legacy over mass exposure in today's industry landscape.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/analytic-dreamz-notorious-mass-effect/donationsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Brendan Banfield has been found guilty of the murders of his wife, Christine Banfield, and Joseph Ryan. The verdict closes the trial, but it also places renewed focus on what the jury heard when Banfield chose to testify in his own defence. This episode examines Brendan Banfield's trial testimony under cross-examination, focusing on how he used language when the questions became narrow, exacting, and difficult to move away from. As the prosecution pressed him on timing, motive, and responsibility, consistent patterns emerged in how he framed events and managed what each question allowed him to address. You will hear how Banfield responds to yes or no questions, how added detail reshapes what is being asked, and how those choices affect clarity at critical moments in the trial. Particular attention is paid to testimony connected to the au pair affair and how that context is handled through his own words.By watching closely, you'll learn how juries experience testimony in real time, why certain answers create unease without overt confrontation, and how cross-examination exposes unresolved issues through language rather than accusation. This is a line by line analysis of Brendan Banfield's testimony, viewed in light of the verdict and the words that preceded it.Want more from Never A Truer Word? In this Savannah Guthrie update, Jack breaks down the second video appeal released by Savannah and her family in the search for her missing mother. This analysis focuses only on the words used, how the appeal is structured, and how the tone differs from the first message.Phrases such as “we understand,” “we beg you now,” and “this is the only way we will have peace” introduce a different type of appeal than before. The statement also includes a clear reference to value and payment, shifting how the message is framed and who it is directed toward. By examining emphasis, sequencing, and word choice, this episode shows what can be learned when a public appeal changes while time continues to pass. This breakdown does not rely on speculation or interpretation beyond the language itself. It stays grounded in what is said, what is repeated, and how the statement is brought to a close.Want more from Never A Truer Word? Interactions that felt cleaner, even if nothing “big” happened. This episode focuses on Horizontal Alignment — the stage where awareness integrates and meaning settles without being turned into action. In this conversation, we explore:How identity-level recalibration often shows up subtly inside real relationshipsWhy calm, ease, and reduced effort are legitimate signals of alignmentThe difference between monitoring change and trusting integrationHow nervous systems learn new reference points without needing proofWhy recognizing change does not obligate you to protect, explain, or escalate itThis is not mindset work. It's not productivity or behavioral correction.Identity-Level Recalibration works at the root — allowing pressure to release so your system can reorganize naturally. When identity is aligned, relationships don't need more effort. They need less load.Today's Micro Recalibration: Finish this sentence gently, without analysis: “One way I related differently this week was…”Let it count. Nothing else is required.Explore Identity-Level Recalibration→ Join the next Friday Recalibration Live experience → Take your listening deeper! In this fiftieth installment of fictional horror written and narrated by Dan Cummins (how are we already at fifty episodes!?), we travel to the fictional town of Jonesberg, Idaho.  A town full of secrets, disappearances, and mysteries, where a series of strange events in the mid-1970s set a plan in motion that is still mysteriously in place in 1999. For Merch and everything else Bad Magic related, head to: https://www.badmagicproductions.com Subscribe to SiriusXM Podcasts+ to listen to new episodes of Scared to Death ad-free and a whole week early.
