Be it resolved: We are living in a simulation

The Matrix, The Truman Show, and now more recently Westworld. Popular culture has long been captivated by the notion that our lives and the world we inhabit in are nothing more than an advanced computer simulation. But it's also an argument that is being given more credence by world renowned philosophers and scientists. The leading proponents of the “simulation hypothesis” believe that the mathematical nature of the universe is itself the strongest proof we exist in an artificial reality. They point to human DNA and string theory in particle physics as but two of a growing number of so-called naturally occurring phenomena that behave remarkably similar to computer code - too close to be an accident. The mainstream scientific community is taking exception to these claims. They say the simulation hypothesis is based on overly complicated hypotheses that verge on circular reasoning. They argue the universe can be beautiful, even harmonious, mathematically and empirically down to the smallest atom or strand of DNA. Occam's Razor or the maxim that the simplest explanation is usually the right one, is all the proof we need that the universe is real and not a computer program. Arguing for the motion is Rich Terrile, Director of the Center for Evolutionary Computation and Automated Design at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He is a voyager scientist and has discovered moons on Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. Arguing against the motion is David Kipping, Assistant Professor of Astronomy at Columbia University where he leads the Cool Worlds Lab. His research focuses on extrasolar planets, the search for life in the universe, and astrostatistics. The Secret of Stillness with Bob Roth

Bob Roth is one of the most experienced and sought-after meditation leaders in America. Over the past 45 years, Bob has taught Transcendental Meditation to many thousands of people, and is the author of the 2018 New York Times bestseller, “Strength in Stillness: The Power of Transcendental Meditation.” As CEO of the David Lynch Foundation Bob has helped bring meditation to more than a million students in underserved schools in 35 countries, to military veterans and their families who suffer from post-traumatic stress, and to women and children who are survivors of domestic violence. Bob also directs the Center for Health & Wellness, which is bringing meditation to companies, government organizations, and nonprofit organizations. Bob is the host of the SiriusXM radio show, “Success Without Stress” and has spoken about meditation to industry leaders at such gatherings as Google Zeitgeist, Aspen Ideas Festival, Aspen Brain Conference, Wisdom 2.0, and Summit.   I have been meditating with Bob since this past summer of 2020 and was amazed by his calming energy, daily commitment to provide free Transcendental Meditation (TM in short) for all those who wanted to meditate (and twice a day!) and kindness. His energy reminded me of a modern day Mr. Rogers and for the first time, I stopped feeling badly that I couldn't stop my thoughts. In fact, this is where I learned through constant reminders to easily and effortlessly use my mantra and allow any thoughts without resistance.    When I reached out, Bob answered immediately (not typical for someone in a busy, high profile position) and said he'd love to do an interview about his journey and the life changing effects of meditation. Below are some of the high points from that conversation. If you would like to try the daily TM meditation, I have listed the link below. The daily sessions are free, held at 7 am, 8:30 am and 6:00 pm EST, and open to anyone.   Being your You-est You is about following the light of truth from within and connecting to your own inner light (I loved Bob's definition). This is a powerful time to go deeper within and find your most truthful you. Everyone is feeling the uncertainty during this pandemic. Uncertainty is one of the biggest causes of stress because the brain wants to keep things certain. We're definitely in unchartered territory and in need of staying calm more than ever. Research of TM has shown that it creates profound healing as it allows the limbic system to release stress and for knots of trauma to release. TM has been used with veterans, those on the front line of duty such as firefighters, police officers and medical professionals, and others overcoming serious trauma to help alleviate massive amounts of stress. Bob suggests treating TM as a medical intervention. The benefits of TM and meditation in general is likened to the ocean where you might have choppy and large waves on the surface, but deeper down it is calm, quiet and serene. The more you meditate, the more your mind becomes like the bottom of the ocean. These deeper levels are more satisfying and given the opportunity, the mind will always be drawn to something more kind. It is in this quieter, lovely place you can meet your own inner-self, with kindness.  Some misconceptions about meditation are that your thoughts are supposed to stop. Bob shares that the brain never stops, rather it's about accessing thoughts from a more peaceful and settled place. The mind and body are not separate, as many of us think. They are one. There are profound physiological benefits to being in the restful state of meditation as it allows for your body to heal.   I asked Bob what his brightest hope is for the future and the legacy he wishes to leave. He shared that his aim is for humanity to get the normalcy of enlightenment --- that enlightenment is for any human being, regardless of background, religion, spiritual orientation or anything else. He is most passionate about restoring the highest human values on the planet; humility, service, kindness, energy, strength and wisdom.   If you're called to watch this on YouTube (LINK!!!!!!!!!!!), you can see Bob and my interview there as well. Accessing Your Genius Lounge — How 20 Minutes of Transcendental Meditation Can Change Lives With Bob Roth

Today I welcome Bob Roth to the podcast. He has been teaching transcendental meditation for the past 45 years, and currently serves as the CEO of the David Lynch Foundation. Bob is also the author of the 2018 New York Times Bestseller Strength in Stillness.   I used to be so-so about meditation and had actually tried several different types – but none of them seemed to stick.  When I found TM I loved how easy it was and how calm I felt when done mediatating.    Tune in for a science-packed episode on why and how TM works, what the genius lounge is, and new, compelling reasons to get 20 minutes of meditation in, every day.     Tips, and why TM makes a difference   There are three different kinds of meditation and they yield different results — Bob Roth explains focused attention (Gamma brain waves), open monitoring (Theta brain waves), and self-transcending (Alpha 1 brain waves).   Dropping the disorder from Post-Traumatic Stress. PTS leads to insomnia, hyperarousal, anxiety, and chronic depression. And it isn’t only generated through combat.   TM reboots your prefrontal cortex. When stress activates the fight-or-flight response, your amygdala shuts off your prefrontal cortex. This means you can no longer access executive functions (planning ahead, judgment, sense of self, etc.)   There are 1,440 minutes in a day — Try waking up 25 minutes early in the morning to get your mediation in.    Access your genius lounge — Creativity isn’t just art, it is the ability to come up with creative solutions to seemingly intractable problems and it is the product of three distinct networks in the brain: the executive control center, the default mode network, and the salient network.     About Karen Tiber Leland   Karen Tiber Leland is the founder of Sterling Marketing Group, a branding, marketing, and color strategy and implementation firm helping CEOs, executives, and entrepreneurs develop stronger personal, business, and team brands. Word of mouth is nothing new. For generations, it’s been talking with your neighbor over the fence, at the local watering hole, or telling your co-worker about the latest movie in the breakroom. As a business, word of mouth is sparked by those things that you do that separate you from the pack. These talk triggers are so memorable and unique that your customers can’t help but talk about them. My guest Daniel Lemin gives plenty of examples that show us that talk triggers are rarely very expensive, and they tend to be operational differentiators rather than gimmicks or flash in the pan activities. Think Doubletree’s complimentary cookie when you check in or the Cheesecake Factory’s epic novel of a menu. Daniel has co-written a book with Jay Baer about this powerful marketing technique appropriately called Talk Triggers. In this episode, Daniel and I chat about what he and Jay learned in their research and the insights they gleaned for all marketers. These B2B and B2C brands (large and small) are following a specific pattern as they create and execute their talk triggers and Daniel will walk us through that as well. We look at this topic from many angles – from how agencies can leverage this phenomenon and, of course, how we can put it into practice for our clients. Daniel Lemin is a startup co-founder, trusted advisor and bestselling author on reputation management, digital marketing, and social media customer service. As an early member of Google’s global communications team, Daniel led the launch of products in North America, EMEA, and Asia Pacific, and edited the Google Zeitgeist weekly research report featured in over 40 markets worldwide. His new book with co-author Jay Baer, Talk Triggers, explores word-of-mouth marketing and lays out an indispensable framework for building them in your own organization. Daniel regularly provides expert commentary on TV and in high-profile publications such as the New York Times, USA Today, CBS Radio, and Fox News, and speaks and leads workshops across the nation. In 2015, he released his first book, Manipurated. A native of Ohio, Daniel earned his MA in communications and leadership from Gonzaga University. He lives in Los Angeles with his cocker spaniel Truman and enjoys the simple joys of gin martinis, jazz, and eating his way around the world—he’ll try nearly anything as long as it doesn’t bite back. What you’ll learn about in this episode: How to put structures in place to create WOM talk triggers Why it’s got to be remarkable to be a talk trigger How something as simple as a cookie or a deck of cards can get people talking Why talk triggers are so often about operational differentiation Why talk triggers need to be available to everyone—it’s not about exclusivity The best examples of word of mouth are never complicated or expensive Why metrics for word of mouth are more complicated than other marketing metrics What metrics you CAN use to measure the impact of word of mouth An unexpected benefit of well-done talk-trigger campaigns—they make the workplace more enjoyable for employees How to Contact Daniel Lemin: Website: daniellemin.com Book: talktriggers.com Email: daniel@talktriggers.com We’re proud to announce that Hubspot is now the presenting sponsor of the Build A Better Agency podcast! The Sacred Speaks

We begin our conversation with Bob joking that, as a young boy growing up in the San Francisco Bay area, he knew he was a Democrat before he knew he was Jewish. Bob was deeply influenced by Robert “Bobby” Kennedy's position as an agent of change so much so that he began working with the Kennedy campaign early in his life; and considering that Bobby Kennedy was a hero figure for Bob, Kennedy's death greatly impacted him so much so that he continued the work of activism for collective change. When he was a young man, Bob embarked on a path into education, and as a self-professed skeptic, he hesitantly began a meditation practice at 18 years old although that was soon overwhelmed by the profound experience that transcendental meditation brought into his life. With the seeds of desire to educate children, Bob began teaching and educating inner-city youth and inmates about the benefits of meditation. He has continued along this path ever since. Bob and David Lynch began the nonprofit The David Lynch Foundation and have since offered scholarships to seek to teach over one million children the transformative value of meditation. The results of these interventions are astounding. To cite one example, within a year or two, following learning meditation some of the most underperforming schools in the bay area elevated the ranks to become among some of the higher performing schools in the area. Bob discusses three forms of meditation and provides a little background on each, and expands on the practice of Transcendental Meditation. Bob draws from ancient practice to modern neuroscience to back up his claims of how revolutionary a meditation practice can be for your life – and, as he frames it, it is more accessible than you may think. Bio: Bob Roth is one of the most experienced and sought-after meditation leaders in America. Over the past 45 years, Bob has taught Transcendental Meditation to many thousands of people and is the author of the forthcoming authoritative book on the subject, entitled "Strength in Stillness: The Power of Transcendental Meditation", which will be published internationally by Simon & Schuster in February 2018. Bob Currently serves as the CEO of the David Lynch Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity which has brought meditation to over 500,000 inner-city youth in underserved schools in 35 countries, to veterans and their families who suffer from post-traumatic stress, and women and children who are survivors of domestic violence. Bob also directs the Center for Leadership Performance, another nonprofit, which is bringing meditation to Fortune 100 companies, government organizations, and nonprofit charities. Bob is the host of the SiriusXM radio show, "Success Without Stress" and has spoken about meditation to industry leaders at such gatherings as Google Zeitgeist, Aspen Ideas Festival, Aspen Brain Conference, Wisdom2.0, and Summit. https://www.davidlynchfoundation.org Learn more about this project at: http://www.thesacredspeaks.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thesacredspeaks/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/thesacredspeaks Theme music provided by: http://www.modernnationsmusic.com Song of the week: Jeff Price https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/mississippi-lights/1393868655

“The more we understand the deadly impact of stress, the more we're looking at alternatives to just a pill.”Bob RothLong-time listeners know well that meditation is a recurring topic of exploration on this podcast. Today I continue this tradition with a man who has played a very large role in pioneering meditation, specifically the practice of Transcendental Meditation (“TM”) throughout the West.Meet meditation legend Bob Roth.Bob first discovered meditation as a freshman at Berkeley during the height of the 1960's – ground-zero for the anti-war movement and the many cultural changes that were sweeping the country at that time. Once a skeptic, he was soon hooked, ultimately training under the tutelage of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the legendary albeit controversial meditation guru made globally famous by the Beatles. Every day since, he has meditated twice a day every day, devoting his life over the last 45 years to teaching what he has learned to millions of people across the world.Today, Bob is one of the most experienced and sought after meditation teachers in America. A proper meditation teacher to the stars, his student roster includes such recognizable names as Oprah, Russell Brand, Jim Carrey, Jerry Seinfeld, Martin Scorcese, Ray Dalio, Howard Stern, Tom Hanks, Hugh Jackman, and countless other notables. But Bob would much rather talk about his work as the executive director of The David Lynch Foundation, where he has helped bring TM to more than 500,000 inner-city youth in underserved schools in 35 countries, as well as to veterans and their families suffering from PTSD, and women and girls who are survivors of domestic violence.Bob is also the national director of the Center For Leadership Performance, another non-profit which introduces meditation to Fortune 100 companies, government organizations and non-profit charities. And he has spoken about meditation to industry leaders at such gatherings as Google Zeitgeist, Aspen Ideas Festival, Wisdom2.0, and Summit. In addition, Bob penned the authoritative text on the subject of TM, a book aptly titled Transcendental Meditation, and recently released his newest book, Strength in Stillness* – an accessible meditation primer that breaks down the science behind TM and provides a simple, straightforward roadmap for reducing stress, accessing inner power and building resilience. As you might expect, this conversation is a 360-degree primer on everything meditation. We delve into Bob's introduction to meditation as a young Berkeley student as well as his experience training under Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.We discuss how TM differs from other types of meditation. We talk about his work with the David Lynch Foundation, as well as his personal experience with the quirky, brilliant film director himself. And we cover the many scientific benefits of meditation, including how and why a consistent practice can transform your life by reducing stress and anxiety while simultaneously improving everything from focus, concentration, sleep, creativity, acuity, and productivity to emotional and physical resilience. But most of all, this conversation redresses the excuses that prevent you from meditating while empowering you with the tools and ins... Every day we face a growing epidemic of stress that is damaging to our physical and emotional health. While there is no one single cure, a simple practice dramatically changes how we respond to stress and life’s challenges: the Transcendental Meditation technique. Bob Roth, a world authority on Transcendental Meditation for forty-five years, joined us to present wisdom from his book 'Strength In Stillness: The Power of Transcendental Meditation'. He was joined onstage by Oscar-nominated filmmaker David Lynch, founder of the David Lynch Foundation for Consciousness-Based Education and World Peace. Together they outlined meditation’s scientifically proven benefits—improved focus, sleep, resilience, creativity, and memory to name a few—and demonstrated how this five-thousand-year-old technique can have a clear and direct impact on our very modern problems. They highlighted the three distinct types of meditation—focused attention, open monitoring, and self-transcending—and showcased the evidence that the third, Transcendental Meditation, is the most effective and efficient way to reduce stress, access inner power, and build resilience. Join Roth and Lynch for a simple, practical, and straightforward guide to the healing and stress-reducing potential of Transcendental Meditation. Bob Roth is one of the most experienced and sought-after meditation teachers in the world, with 45 years experience teaching Transcendental Meditation to billionaire CEOs, Hollywood celebrities, combat-scarred veterans, and inner-city youth. He currently serves as the CEO of the David Lynch Foundation, and also directs the Center for Leadership Performance. Bob is the host of the SiriusXM radio show, Success Without Stress, and speaks frequently about the science of meditation to industry leaders at such gatherings as Google Zeitgeist, Aspen Ideas Festival, Wisdom2.0, and Summit. Three-time Oscar-nominated director David Lynch is among the leading filmmakers of our era. From the early seventies to the present day, Lynch’s popular and critically acclaimed film projects, which include Eraserhead, The Elephant Man, Wild at Heart, Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive, INLAND EMPIRE, and Twin Peaks are internationally considered to have broken down the wall between art-house cinema and Hollywood moviemaking. This week we welcome to the show Dan Buettner.  He is an explorer, National Geographic Fellow, award-winning journalist and producer, and New York Times bestselling author. He discovered the five places in the world – dubbed Blue Zones – where people live the longest, healthiest lives. His articles about these places in The New York Times Magazine and National Geographic are two of the most popular for both publications. Buettner now works in partnership with municipal governments, large employers, and health insurance companies to implement Blue Zones Projects in communities, workplaces, and universities. Blue Zones Projects are well-being initiatives that apply lessons from the Blue Zones to entire communities by focusing on changes to the local environment, public policy, and social networks. The program has dramatically improved the health of more than 5 million Americans to date. His books, The Blue Zones: Lessons for Living Longer from the People Who’ve Lived the Longest, Thrive: Finding Happiness the Blue Zones Way, The Blue Zones Solution: Eating and Living Like the World’s Healthiest People, and The Blue Zones of Happiness were all national bestsellers. Buettner has appeared on The Today Show, Oprah, NBC Nightly News, and Good Morning America, and has keynoted speeches at TEDMED, Bill Clinton’s Health Matters Initiative, and Google Zeitgeist. His speech in January 2018 at the World Economic Forum in Davos was chosen as “one of the best of Davos.” Buettner also holds three Guinness World Records in distance cycling. Questions we ask in this episode:  Your last two books, The Blue Zones and The Blue Zones Solution, are about longevity and learning to live like the world’s centenarians. How, if at all, did that work inspire you to focus on happiness for your new book? There are many books already out there about happiness. What’s different about THE BLUE ZONES OF HAPPINESS? With all your discoveries, what has the most significant impact on a person’s overall happiness? The book includes a Blue Zones Happiness Test. How did you design this test? his week, we are doing it with the fantastic Dan Buettner. Now, if you’re not familiar with Dan’s work, he’s a multiple New York Times bestselling author, and he was very famously known for the book The Blue Zones. If you’ve been listening to our podcast, you know we’ve covered the topic a little bit from time to time on the air, which absolutely fascinates me. Essentially Blue Zones are dubbed where people live the longest and are the healthiest. His New York Times Sunday magazine article about these places, “The Island Where People Forgot to Die” was one of the Times’s most popular, and his National Geographic cover story, “The Secrets of Living Longer,” was a finalist for National Magazine Award. I think the Blue Zones has even reached cult status where there’s five of them in the world. And we’ll certainly get into that today. But we’re here today to talk about Dan’s new book, The Blue Zones of Happiness, and what really drives happiness and the lessons he’s learned from that. No doubt, you’re gonna enjoy the show today, so let’s go over to Dan Buettner. Hi, this is Guy Lawrence. I’m joined with Stuart Cooke as always. Good morning, Stuart. Stu Hello, mate. Guy And our awesome guest today is Dan Buettner. Dan, welcome to the show. Dan It’s a delight to be here. Guy Mate, I’m itching for this. This topic has come up so many times on our podcast over the last few years. Yeah, I can’t wait to get stuck into it. Now, Dan, we ask a question on every show for a guest, and that is, if a stranger stopped you on the street and asked you what you did for a living, what would you say? Dan I explore traditional cultures, and I distill their wisdom for other people to use. How’s that? Guy That’s perfect. Stu That would get me talking for sure, so I like it. Dan I’ve had the good fortune to work for National Geographic for the last 15 years, and I’ve developed a bit of a specialty of finding extraordinary populations and then distilling down their wisdom, and we’re very rigorous about measuring these populations and then also using vetted methodologies to distill down, what can we learn from them? So that’s the general …   For full transcript and interview: http://180nutrition.com.au/180-tv/dan-buettner-interview/

“Follow your bliss, not your material desires.”Dan Buettner We all want to be happy. But what exactly is happiness? Can it be cultivated? And if so, how?Somewhere along the way, you've likely heard of something called the Blue Zones — a term coined by this week's guest in reference to five hidden slivers of the world that boast the highest per capita populations of centenarians – people who thrive to 100 and beyond. Unlikely locales where people not live inordinately long,Places where people forgot to die.Interestingly, in addition to outliving their fellow western world equals, the Blue Zoners also seemed resoundingly happier.Dan Buettner wanted to know more. So he shifted focus from longevity and zeroed in on the elusive, ever-so-slippery nature of happiness itself.Deploying his expertise and that of others, he used hard science to better define the emotional state we seek most. He scoured the planet in search of the cultures that most exemplify happiness. He examined the internal and external factors that most promote happiness. And he extrapolated the key lessons that can be best applied for us to all ultimately live better and more fulfilled. The result of Dan's quest is the subject of today's conversation. It's also the the cover story of this month’s issue of National Geographic, the topic he explored all last week on the TODAY Show and the focus of his new Amazon #1 bestselling book, The Blue Zones of Happiness: Lessons from the World's Happiest People*.(full podcast on YouTube!)A true renaissance man, Dan is a National Geographic Fellow, a world adventurer with 3 endurance cycling world records to his name, a longevity expert, and a NY Times Bestselling author who has appeared on Oprah twice, as well as CNN, David Letterman, Good Morning America, Primetime Live, and the Today Show. He has delivered more than 500 keynotes over the last 10 years, including speeches for Bill Clinton’s Health Matters Initiative, Google Zeitgeist, and TEDMED. His TED Talk “How to live to be 100+” has been viewed over 3 million times.Long-time listeners will remember well our initial conversation. RRP 139 (April 2015) explored Dan’s fascinating, adventurous backstory and what he learned studying centenarians. This conversation picks up where that one left off to delve deep into the very nature of happiness. It's about the three pillars that compose it. And the extent to which your environment and lifestyle choices impact your ability to exude and maintain it.It’s a conversation about what you can do to design your surroundings to stack the deck in favor of happiness. And it’s an exchange about the impact of Dan’s work on fundamentally improving health and happiness in cities and municipalities across the United States. But ultimately, this is a powerful primer on how to cultivate greater awareness around the choices we all make daily around food, lifestyle habits, and the quality of our physical and interpersonal environments. And it's about how improving these choices can lead to the one thing we all seek – true, lasting happiness.I absolutely love this guy. “It doesn’t matter what happens to you. All that matters is what you do with what happens to you.”Charlie EngleThere is extreme. Then there's Charlie Engle – a man who has run across deserts, summited ice-covered volcanoes, swam with crocodiles, overcome crack addiction and survived a stint in federal prison. The story goes like this: after a hair-curling, decade-long love affair with booze and crack cocaine that culminated in a near-fatal six-day binge and a hail of bullets, Charlie finally gets sober. For solace, he turns to running, which becomes his lifeline, his pastime, and his salvation. He begins with marathons, but it wasn't enough. Ultramarathons soon became the focus of his affection, a new love affair that takes him to stunning heights and accolades.During this second act, Charlie would clock a handful of impressive top-10 finishes at prestigious races like Badwater, a 135-mile jaunt across Death Valley widely considered to be the toughest footrace on Earth. But his athletic zenith is an unprecedented, absolutely astonishing 111-day, 4,500-mile run across the Sahara Desert — a feat chronicled in the Matt Damon narrated documentary entitled Running the Sahara.Life was pretty good. Then came quite possibly the most bizarre and improbable challenge Charlie could ever imagine facing. A bad B-movie narrative that involved an obsessed IRS agent with an axe to grind. Wire taps and garbage probes. Even the requisite wily enchantress dispatched to entrap. A saga that culminates in an unjust conviction for mortgage fraud.A poster child for everything awry with the mortgage-backed security crisis, Charlie serves 16 months in a West Virginia federal prison – what Charlie jocularly refers to as his federal holiday. He could have played the victim. Instead, he spends his days pounding the small prison track, running endlessly in circles. Soon his fellow inmates were joining him, struggling to keep their spirits up in dehumanizing circumstances.A prison hero by the time his sentence concludes, Charlie now embraces his third act as a more fully actualized version of his pre-shackled self — armed with newfound perspective and a grateful appreciation for what matters most in life.Charlie is one-of-a-kind. A world class talker and master storyteller, I knew Charlie's new memoir would be a page-turner. But I didn't expect the book to be so well written. Running Man: A Memoir* is every bit the gripping, raw, honest, funny, emotional, at times cringe-inducing, but ultimately inspiring story I hoped it would be – and then some.I'm thrilled to bring you my second conversation with Charlie. Picking up where episode 67 leaves off, (a must listen if you're new to the show), this is an intimate discourse about high highs and low lows. It's about addiction, sobriety, service and spirit. It's about perspective. Nine lives and third acts. What it means to touch the threshold of human endurance. And then transcend it.Specific topics discussed include:* Google Zeitgeist (check out his talk here)* perspective (& lack thereof) on life events* Charlie’s “federal holiday”* parent-child relationships* legacy and expectations* addiction, lies & codependency See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Join us each week for Coffee with Andrew and Rob, the official podcast of Coffee with Rob. Every show will involve casual conversation between myself, my good friend, Andrew Amat, and guests as we tackle opinions on the news featured here on the blog. Please join us for one hour of round table discussion. Would you like to ask a question or have your opinions mentioned on air? Email theshow@coffeewithrob.netThis was a simple show this week guys, coming in at just a bit over 30 minutes, and the reason for that was because Andrew and I decided that since it was New Year's Eve, that it would be better to review 2010 and talk about 2011 than to cover stories which we could just do on the next show. Also, our families were waiting for us to celebrate the incoming new year and we weren't going to miss it. So enjoy today's shorter than usual edition and reminisce about 2010 with us.Music used: Auld Lang Syne performed by Les Deux Love Orchestra as public domain.Get the podcast:[iTunes] Subscribe to the show on iTunes[RSS] Subscribe to the show via RSS[MP3] Download the MP3 and listen on any playerOr listen here on the page:Stories covered this week:2010 is over!: http://www.coffeewithrob.net/2010/12/2010-is-over.htmlGoogle Zeitgeist 2010 Review: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0QXB5pw2qE&feature=player_embedded
