Welcome to another episode of the Born to Watch Movie Podcast! This week, we dive into the raunchy, hilarious, and surprisingly heartfelt world of "American Pie" (1999). Directed by Paul Weitz in his directorial debut, this film quickly became a cultural phenomenon, resonating with audiences for its candid portrayal of teenage life and its unapologetically comedic take on the trials and tribulations of high school seniors. Join us as we explore the elements that made "American Pie" a landmark in the teen comedy genre."American Pie" revolves around four high school friends—Jim (Jason Biggs), Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas), Oz (Chris Klein), and Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas)—who make a pact to lose their virginity before graduation. This seemingly simple premise sets the stage for a series of humorous and often cringe-worthy escapades, all underpinned by a surprisingly genuine exploration of friendship, love, and growing up.The film's storytelling balances outrageous comedy and moments of sincere emotion. Each character's journey is both unique and relatable, allowing the audience to see bits of themselves in the protagonists' struggles and triumphs. Jim's awkward and earnest attempts to navigate his burgeoning sexuality, in particular, provide some of the film's most memorable and endearing moments. Whether it's his infamous encounter with an apple pie or his embarrassing mishaps with Nadia (Shannon Elizabeth), Jim's storyline blends humour and heart. The cinematography in "American Pie" plays a crucial role in amplifying its comedic and emotional beats. The film's use of close-ups and reaction shots enhances the comedic timing, making every awkward moment feel even more personal and immediate. The suburban setting, captured with a mix of warm tones and vibrant lighting, creates a nostalgic backdrop that grounds the film in a recognizable reality despite its more exaggerated comedic elements.Character development is another standout aspect of "American Pie." While the film's primary focus is on the four friends' quest to lose their virginity, it also delves into their individual growth and the evolution of their friendships. Kevin's realization about the importance of emotional connection, Oz's journey from jock to a more sensitive and self-aware young man, Finch's quest for sophistication, and Jim's continual awkward yet earnest efforts to find intimacy—all these arcs contribute to a richer narrative tapestry.Supporting characters, like Stifler (Seann William Scott), Stifler's mom (Jennifer Coolidge), and Michelle (Alyson Hannigan), bring additional layers of comedy and intrigue. With his outrageous antics and brash personality, Stifler provides a counterpoint to the more earnest endeavours of the main quartet. Meanwhile, Michelle's now-iconic "This one time, at band camp..." line not only delivers a comedic punch but also reveals hidden depths to her seemingly quirky character, culminating in a surprise twist in her relationship with Jim.The film's soundtrack is a time capsule of late '90s music, featuring tracks from Blink-182, Third Eye Blind, and others that perfectly encapsulate the era's zeitgeist. The music complements the film's tone and enhances its emotional beats, creating a soundscape that is both nostalgic and integral to the storytelling."American Pie" holds a significant place in pop culture, not just for its comedic value but for its candid portrayal of teenage life. It opened the door for a new wave of teen comedies that dared to address adolescence's often awkward and messy reality. The film's frank discussions about sex, its willingness to push boundaries, and its blend of crude humour with genuine emotion set a new standard for the genre.Culturally, "American Pie" was a product of its time, reflecting the late '90s attitudes towards sex and relationships. Its influence can be seen in the numerous sequels and spin-offs it spawned and in other films that sought to capture the same blend of humour and heart. However, it's also important to recognize how some aspects of the film, particularly its treatment of female characters and consent, might be viewed through a more critical lens today. This retrospective consideration adds another layer to our understanding of the film's impact and legacy.Despite occasional missteps, "American Pie" remains a beloved classic, thanks to its memorable characters, iconic scenes, and genuine humour. Its success lies in its ability to capture the universal awkwardness of growing up and the enduring importance of friendship. The film's blend of raunchy comedy with heartfelt moments continues to resonate with audiences, even as societal attitudes have evolved. In our discussion on the Born to Watch Movie Podcast, We reflect on our experiences and memories of watching the film, offering a mix of nostalgia and critical analysis. Whether you're a long-time fan of the film or a newcomer curious about its enduring appeal, this episode offers a comprehensive and entertaining exploration of why "American Pie" remains a seminal work in the teen comedy genre. So, grab a slice of pie (preferably not Jim's favourite kind), sit back, and join us as we celebrate the hilarity and heart of "American Pie." The film reminds us of the awkward, unforgettable journey from adolescence to adulthood, capturing the essence of a time when every moment felt like a big deal—and every misstep was a story worth telling. Please follow the Podcast and join our community at https://linktr.ee/borntowatchpodcasthttps://www.borntowatch.com.au/

LAUNCH CONTROL: T-minus 30 seconds, and the countdown continuing to go smoothly. ... Skylab — the first American space station — was going to be a fixer-upper. It was damaged during launch on May 14th, 1973. So when the first team of astronauts headed for the station 50 years ago today, it had a lot of work to do. LAUNCH CONTROL: 5, 4, 3, engine sequence start, 2, 1, zero. We have launch commit, and we have liftoff! The clock is running, and Skylab has cleared the tower. CONRAD: Houston, Skylab 2. We fix anything! But the “fixing” wasn't easy. Astronauts Pete Conrad, Joseph Kerwin, and Paul Weitz set out to repair their damaged home. It had lost a protective shield and one of two solar panels, with the other one jammed shut. If the astronauts couldn't fix the problems, they'd have to come home and let the next crew take a shot. And at first, things didn't go well. A tool designed to free the jammed solar panel didn't work. And at the end of the first day in orbit, their Apollo spacecraft wouldn't link up with the station. They had to take the docking system apart to fix the problem. The crew moved into Skylab, then deployed a cover to bring down the temperatures. And ground controllers eventually worked out a way to fix the balky solar panel. So the mission continued. The astronauts studied Earth, the Sun, and how their bodies reacted to a record 28 days in orbit — a record that stood until the next Skylab mission later that year.  Script by Damond Benningfield Support McDonald Observatory

Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and Thrasher, and Alex Miller discuss American Pie, the first film in the American Pie series. American Pie is responsible for kicking off a new R-rated sex comedy craze not seen since Revenge of the Nerds over a decade prior. Paul Weitz's (About a Boy, Little Fockers) directorial debut stars a mixture of fresh-faced actors (Jason Biggs, Shannon Elizabeth, Sean William Scott) and seasoned former child actors (Alyson Hannigan, Natasha Lyonne, Thomas Ian Nicholas) in a somewhat raunchy tale of high school romance. At times annoying, cheesy, and funny, American Pie takes viewers back to when the Internet was a novelty and sex crimes were punchlines. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but anchoring it all is an uncool yet heartfelt performance from SCTV alum Eugene Levy as Jim's Dad. American Pie has enough good spots where it's worth hunting down. Pervasive milquetoast needledrops abound. Sequelcast 2 and Friends is part of the Tokyo Beat Podcast Network. The film features the voices of Woody Allen, Sharon Stone, Jennifer Lopez, Sylvester Stallone, Christopher Walken, Dan Aykroyd, Anne Bancroft, Danny Glover and Gene Hackman. Some of the main characters share facial similarities with the actors who voice them.[10] Antz was the first film from DreamWorks Animation, and the third feature-length computer-animated film after Disney and Pixar's Toy Story (1995) and NDR Filmes's Cassiopeia (1996). During its production, a public feud erupted between DreamWorks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg, and Steve Jobs and John Lasseter of Pixar, due to the production of their similar film A Bug's Life, which was released a month later. This only worsened when Disney refused to avoid competition with DreamWorks' intended first animated release, The Prince of Egypt (1998). Antz premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 19, 1998,[11] and was released theatrically in the United States on October 2, 1998, by DreamWorks Pictures. It grossed $171.8 million worldwide on a budget of $42–105 million. The film received positive reviews, with critics praising the voice cast, animation, humor, and its appeal towards adults.[12]

Also today's sponsor is Indeed.com/Standup Bob Saget and I go way back and I was really happy to have him join me. He is one of the best of all time. Listen to his podcast and see him live. Here is is official bio: Yes, Bob Saget has starred in many successful television shows, including two of the most family-friendly shows network TV has ever produced (Full House and Americas Funniest Home Videos) but he's also an out of his mind, Grammy-nominated standup comedian for over thirty years. From his latest Amazon special, Zero to Sixty, to his HBO special That Ain't Right to his scene-stealing cameos in Entourage, and The Aristocrats, it's always effective as Saget embraces his mischievous side. From directing MGM's cult favorite feature film Dirty Work, to directing and producing the highly acclaimed ABC television movie, For Hope, to starring in the critically acclaimed, Paul Weitz off-Broadway play, Privilege, to starring on Broadway in the Tony Award winning The Drowsy Chaperone, Bob Saget shows no signs of stopping. Ever. In 2007 came the hugely successful DVD release of Farce of the Penguins, an R-rated comedy/documentary/love story, that he voiced-over, wrote, directed, and produced, with producer David Permut. And then came the hit NBC quiz show 1 VS 100, where Bob ad-libbed his way through the one-hour prime time format. In 2008, The Comedy Central Roast of Bob Saget premiered to the second highest ratings of all TV that night, second only to the Olympics. For many years now, Bob has been a proud board member of the Scleroderma Research Foundation. He co-produces and hosts "Cool Comedy Hot Cuisine" fundraising events in Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas and San Francisco. To date, they have raised over 53 million dollars for the SRF going directly to research to cure this disease. Bob was seen several times reprising the role of “Himself” on HBO's hit series Entourage as well as a cameo in the film. He also starred in his own documentary comedy series for A&E titled, Strange Days with Bob Saget, an exploration of unusual subcultures in America. In 2014, Bob completed his first Australian theater tour visiting Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. Bob continued touring, playing to sold out audiences in theaters and universities across North America and in 2012 he hosted the Montreal Comedy Festival's first live 90 minute JFL XXX TV show which continues to air across Canada on The Movie Network. His 2013 one-hour stand-up special, That's What I'm Talkin' About, was nominated for a 2014 Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album. The special was filmed at The Moore Theatre in Seattle, premiered on Showtime in May 2013 and is now available on multiple platforms, both as a comedy album and special. Bob's first book is a New York Times Best Seller - DIRTY DADDY was released on April 8, 2014 to critical acclaim with Vanity Fair calling it, “Hilarious and at times heartbreaking.” The book is also available as an audio book, recorded by Bob. In January 2016, Bob finished a very fulfilling and successful 9-week run on Broadway in the Tony-nominated play, Hand To God, playing the part of a Lutheran minister, Pastor Greg. That year he also co-starred in the film, A Stand Up Guy and began his six season run on the hit Netflix series, Fuller House which ended shooting in 2020. In 2018, Bob made his London performance debut at the Leicester Square Theatre, and can't wait to return to perform there when the times allow. Bob's newest hour-long stand-up special, Zero To Sixty, was shot in Brooklyn at The Williamsburg Hall of Music in May 2017. Zero To Sixty premiered worldwide on November 14, 2017 on multiple digital platforms including Amazon Prime, iTunes, Comcast, DirecTV, and many others. It's also available as a comedy album including vinyl LPs as well as streaming and downloads for all forms. On April 23, 2019, Bob's independent film, Benjamin, was released as the first Redbox Original release and it is also available on many streaming platforms. Bob directed and starred with an amazing ensemble cast: Rob Corddry, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Kevin Pollak, Cheri Oteri, Dave Foley, Max Burkholder, Clara Mamet, David Hull, Jonny Weston, and Peri Gilpin. The film was produced by Nicholas Tabarrok. In this original dark comedy, Ed (Bob Saget), reluctantly calls together an oddball assortment of friends and family to intervene on the supposed drug habit of his 15-year-old son, Benjamin (Max Burkholder). What quickly follows is a night of finger-pointing, petty thievery, adulterous backstabbing, and a seesaw of crooked emotional revelations — all leading to the misguided but sincere attempt to heal this dysfunctional family. In 2019, Bob hosted the new CMT TV series, Nashville Squares.. On April 20, 2020, Bob launched his podcast, Bob Saget's Here For You, now at 100 episodes, featuring Bob's one of a kind stream of consciousness storytelling and real and honest conversations with amazing guests, including: Tiffany Haddish, Jason Sudeikis, Whoopi Goldberg, Norman Lear, Regina Hall, Bill Burr, John Mayer, Candace Cameron Bure, Cedric the Entertainer, John Stamos, Jake Tapper, Nikki Glaser, Jon Hamm and Bob Newhart. Last fall, Bob performed at Dave Chappelle's Summer Camp, which he just did again in May, 2021, appeared on the hit Fox TV show I Can See Your Voice, and performed as Squiggly Monster on The Masked Singer. Bob just wrapped shooting the dark comedy film, Blue Iguana, in the Cayman Islands, alongside Joel David Moore, Jason Jones, Carly Chaikin, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Chantel Riley, and Iggy Pop. It was directed by Jeremey LaLonde and Produced by Nicholas Tabarrok. The story involves a dying man (Pop) who will leave his entitled children his fortune only if they can spend the weekend together in his Cayman Islands home. They end up trying to murder one of their siblings in order to get his share of the fortune. Bob is overjoyed to be back on his stand-up tour with a new hour plus of material with dates scheduled all over North America, happening right now. "The film, directed and co-written by Paul Weitz, too often goes for the easy resolution, the syrupy payoff and the sense that every character in Matt's orbit is just, like, really really nice." What's wrong with nice, Kevin Maher of The Times? Well... some things are wrong with what one host dubs ABOUT A BOY 2 (such is his fandom of The Auteur Paul Weitz) but the NICER host just wishes people would leave Kevin Hart alone. The Film Board by The Next Reel Film Podcasts

Fatherhood is a fairly loose adaptation of Matthew Logelin's memoir, but unfortunately it feels loose in all the wrong ways. There seems to be an interesting story there, but it never quite clicks. Andy Nelson is joined by Ocean Murff and Steve Sarmento to discuss this latest Netflix release for Father's Day, but they're left frustrated with a film that never lives up to its potential. Kevin Hart and DeWanda Wise make a great couple, but the crew agrees they'd rather see them lead a stronger romantic comedy. The rest of the cast delivers strong work as well, but it's wasted in a disjointed film. Are there any bright spots to like in Fatherhood? Bits and pieces here and there. But overall, it's a disappointing adaptation. Did you ever wonder what the relationship between the stars and the writers of a hit sitcom is like? Go behind the scenes with Modern Family’s Ty Burrell and writer/exec producer Bill Wrubel  With a range of performances across television, film, and theater, award winner Ty Burrell continues to proves himself as one of the finest and most versatile actors today.    Burrell starred on ABC’s critically acclaimed hit, Modern Family. The actor garnered countless awards for his fan-favorite role of ‘Phil Dunphy’ including the 2014 and 2011 Emmy® Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series; the 2014 Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series; the 2012 Critics Choice Television Award for the Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series; as well as the 2012 Comedy Award in the category of Performance by An Actor – TV.  In 2012, Burrell shared the TCA Award with Nick Offerman for Individual Achievement in Comedy. Additionally, he has received notable nominations from the Teen Choice Awards, the Television Critics Association Awards, the People's Choice Awards, the American Comedy Awards and the Kids' Choice Awards, all for his role on the series.  In July 2020, Burrell launched his production company, Desert Whale Productions, and signed an overall deal with 20th Century Fox TV, the studio behind the acclaimed comedy series, Modern Family. Desert Whale’s first sale under the deal is for the comedy show, Yours, Mine & Paul. The show centers on a woman named Lauren who agrees to be a surrogate for her best friend, Paul, and his husband Xander despite her and Xander hating each other. The show has been put into development at ABC and it was recently announced Sarah Hyland is set to star in the series.   On stage, Burrell starred to incredible reviews in the world premiere of Caryl Churchill's two-hander play, Drunk Enough to Say I Love You, at the Royal Court Theatre in London. Burrell and his wife, Holly, donated $100,000 of their own funds to help ease the burden for the vulnerable members of the Salt Lake community.  Learn more about your ad choices. From directing MGM's cult favorite feature film "Dirty Work," to directing and producing the highly acclaimed ABC television movie, "For Hope," to starring in the critically acclaimed, Paul Weitz off-Broadway play, "Privilege, to starring on Broadway in the Tony Award winning "The Drowsy Chaperone," Bob Saget shows no signs of stopping.  Ever.  In 2007 came the hugely successful DVD release of "Farce of the Penguins," an R-rated comedy/documentary/love story, that he voiced-over, wrote, directed, and produced, with producer David Permut.  And then came the hit NBC quiz show "1 VS 100," where Bob ad-libbed his way through the one-hour prime time format.  In 2008, "The Comedy Central Roast of Bob Saget" premiered to the second highest ratings of all TV that night, second only to the Olympics. Bob was seen several times reprising the role of “Himself” on HBO's hit series “Entourage” as well as a cameo in the film.  He also starred in his own documentary comedy series for A&E titled, “Strange Days with Bob Saget,” an exploration of unusual subcultures in America.     ----------   Robert Reiner was born in New York City, to Estelle Reiner (née Lebost) and Emmy-winning actor, comedian, writer, and producer Carl Reiner. As a child, he often looked up to his father as his inspiration and role-model. Carl Reiner was on The Dick Van Dyke Show, which he created and also starred in. Estelle was the inspiration for Rob Reiner to become a director. Her history as a singer helped him understand how music was used in a scene. Rob often felt pressured about measuring up to his father's twelve Emmys, and prestigious awards and successful streak. When Rob graduated high school, his parents advised him to participate in Summer Theatre. Reiner got a job as an apprentice in the Bucks County Playhouse in Pennsylvania. He went to be further educated at UCLA Film School. Reiner felt he still wasn't successful even having a recurring role on one of the biggest shows in the country, All in the Family. Reiner began his directing career with the Oscar-nominated films This Is Spinal Tap, Stand By Me, and The Princess Bride,. With these successful box-office movies in 1987, Reiner founded his own production company, Castle Rock Entertainment, along with Martin Shafer, Andrew Scheinman, Glenn Padnick, and Alan Horn. For Castle Rock Entertainment, he went to direct the Oscar-nominated films When Harry Met Sally, Misery, and A Few Good Men. Reiner often credits former co-star Carroll O'Connor in helping him get into the directing business, and showing Reiner the ropes. Reiner also is known as a political activist, co-founding the American Foundation For Equal Rights, a group that was an advisory for same-sex-marriage. Reiner has spoken at several rallies on several controversial topics, and is also seen as an advocate on social issues, such as domestic violence and tobacco use. Reiner has also made cameos on show like 30 Rock, The Simpsons, and Hannah Montana, and in the films The First Wives Club, Bullets Over Broadway, Primary Colors, and Throw Momma From The Train, among many others.

Career Q&A with Topher Grace. Moderated by Bruce Fretts, Closer Weekly. Acclaimed actor Topher Grace first caught the attention of audiences as one of the stars of the iconic television series, That ‘70s Show, before going on to make his mark on the big screen in numerous films. Topher currently appears in the Sony Pictures Classics drama, Truth, opposite Robert Redford, Cate Blanchett, Dennis Quaid and Elisabeth Moss. The film tells the true story of a group of journalists – with Topher portraying rebellious researcher, ‘Mike Smith’ – who uncover a conspiracy that would bring down President George W. Bush’s presidency. The film will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. Topher is currently in production starring alongside Brad Pitt in the upcoming Netflix black comedy, War Machine, in which he plays a civilian media adviser to Pitt’s four-star U.S. military general trying to win the war in Afghanistan. Based on Michael Hastings’ book, “The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America’s War in Afghanistan,” and directed by David Michod, the film is scheduled to debut in 2016. Topher has also made the move behind the camera and recently completed production as producer and star of the romantic musical comedy, One Shot, directed by Isaac Rentz. The film features Anne Heche and Taye Diggs and follows a failed Broadway singer who now works as a production manager who must save opening night by wrangling his eccentric cast and crew. On screen he’s also wrapped on the supernatural thriller, Home, expected for release by Universal in 2016. On the big screen, Topher won the National Board of Review award for Breakthrough Performance by an Actor, as well as a New York Film Critics award, for his roles in In Good Company and P.S. in 2004. As a member of the ensemble cast in Steven Soderbergh’s Traffic, he also won a Screen Actors Guild Award in 2001. Additional film credits include Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar; Gary Marshall’s ensemble, Valentine’s Day, opposite Anne Hathaway, Bradley Cooper, Jamie Foxx and others; Sam Raimi’s Spiderman 3; Robert Luketic’s Win a Date With Tad Hamilton; Mike Newell’s Mona Lisa Smile, opposite Julia Roberts; and Soderbergh’s Ocean’s Eleven and Ocean’s Twelve among many other memorable roles including, most recently, American Ultra, opposite Jesse Eisenberg and Kristen Stewart. On the small screen, along with That ‘70s Show, he has also appeared in Curtis Hanson’s Golden Globe winning TV film, Too Big to Fail, for HBO. He also appeared in The Beauty Inside, a 2012 social film developed by Intel and Toshiba. Directed by Drake Doremus and co-starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, the film is broken up into six filmed episodes interspersed with interactive storytelling that all takes place on the main character's Facebook timeline. Topher won a Daytime Emmy in the category of Outstanding New Approaches - Original Daytime Program or Series. In 2014, Topher made his Off-Broadway debut in Paul Weitz’ acclaimed Lonely, I’m Not, opposite Olivia Thirlby, for Second Stage. It's back to school with Oscar and Diggory as Hugh Grant gives us a lesson in how to manage your day in 30 minute chunks, pretend you have a son and ruin any chances you had with the ladies in About a Boy (Chris Weitz and Paul Weitz, 2002). Thirty-eight-year-old Will Freeman (played by Hugh Grant) is a slacker who has lived comfortably off the royalties of a song written by his deceased father, and as such has never had to work a day in his life. In search of available women, Will invents an imaginary son and starts attending single parent meetings. As a result, he meets Marcus (played by Nicholas Hoult), an odd 12-year-old boy with problems at school. Gradually, they become friends and as Will teaches Marcus how to be the cool kid at school, Marcus helps Will to realise growing up has nothing to do with age. It’s been claimed by those film nerds that 1999 was one of the best years for original movies. We got given Fight Club. The Matrix. American Beauty. The Sixth Sense. Eyes Wide Shut. The Blair Witch Project. The Iron Giant. Nottinghill. Being John Malkovich. Toy Story 2. The Green Mile. Just to name a few. And then one movie came along that penetrated culture (and pies) with its outrageousness. That film is American Pie.   The directorial debut of Paul Weitz (his brother Chris Weitz is an uncredited director) saw this movie reboot and retool the teen comedy genre, skyrocketing it to a truly global status. Made on a budget of $10 million, and going on to reap over $250 million at the box office - as well as ruining everyones favourite homemade pie -  it’s clear that the film did something right. Tune in to find out.   Our SOTW is Hillside DIY by Ben Ericsson. A fun little homemade film about skating that is a welcome change from all the pie chat.   Enjoy.

Written by Adam Herz and directed by Chris and Paul Weitz, American Pie tells the story of four high school seniors, Jim (Jason Biggs), Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicols), Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas), and Oz (Chris Klein), as they approach the end of their year, pledging to lose their virginities before graduation. The guys, trying to stand out from people like Steve Stifler (Sean William-Scott), each pursue different prospective partners including Michelle (Alyson Hannigan), Heather (Mena Suvari), Vicky (Tara Reid), and Nadia (Shannon Elizabeth), and are guided by Jim’s lovable and very open dad Noah (Eugene Levy). It's a journey of hilarious situations, awkward moments, and life lessons, as the guys make embarrassing mistakes on their journeys to manhood.

We continue our Romantic Comedy series with a film that really puts that genre to the test — 2002's About a Boy, directed by Chris and Paul Weitz. Is it a RomCom? Is it a comedy drama? Or a RomComDram? It's hard to say, but it is a great film that is full of honesty, heart, and human connection. Join us — Pete Wright and Andy Nelson — as we talk about this great film. We discuss Hugh Grant and Nicholas Hoult as the two leads (who both also co-narrate the film), what they bring to the film, and why they both make everything in the film feel so believable. We talk about the amazing Toni Collette who grounds the film with an amazing character turn that creates a great counterpoint to the growing friendship between Grant's and Hoult's characters. We discuss the Weitz brothers and the interesting paths their directing has taken them. We chat about the cinematography, costume designs, and production design and what they do for the world of this film. And we discuss the great ear worms in this movie. It's a great film, whatever it's genre, and we love talking about it. Tune in! Hey! You know what would be awesome? If you would drop us a positive rating on iTunes! If you like what we’re doing here on TNR, it really is the best way to make sure that this show appears when others search for it, plus, it’s just a nice thing to do. Thanks!!
