    Michael T. Lester, a U.S. Naval Academy graduate and former Marine Corps combat pilot who served in Asia and the Middle East, initially believed deeply in American ideals. Over time, he experienced growing disillusionment as U.S. actions abroad often contradicted official narratives and failed to align with stated goals of promoting democracy and freedom. His book provides a non-partisan analysis, arguing that repeated harmful outcomes across administrations are systemic features driven by incentives, not mere mistakes. It outlines an imperial playbook involving regime change, sanctions, proxy wars, and economic control, while linking foreign policy to domestic narrative management that manufactures consent. Lester applies this framework to current events like Ukraine, Gaza, and Venezuela, noting increasing global skepticism toward U.S. explanations. The provocative title refers to outcomes; from a global viewpoint, the U.S. often appears as the antagonist, emphasizing that denial hinders self-correction. Motivated by the view that silence enables complicity, Lester wrote this book to encourage honest reckoning in a multipolar world. Glenn starts by discussing the SAVE Act and the popularity of voter ID laws nationwide, even within the Democratic Party. So why are congressional democrats like Sen. Chuck Schumer (NY) fighting so hard against it? Glenn reads through the lyrics of the song he wrote that will be performed live at Ellis Island during a Torch event honoring American immigration. President Trump has shown his empathetic side in recent months. Glenn takes calls from various callers, including one who was among the first in Europe to subscribe to Torch. Glenn discusses the importance of the original filibuster and why the Democrats' attempt to change how it works completely undermines what it was intended to be. Glenn reveals what's actually broken in America: the contrast between power and the people. Glenn also offers a potential solution: having members of Congress wear body cameras, just as police officers are required to do. Welcome to another FULL SHOW episode of The Rizzuto Show, your favorite daily comedy podcast where common sense taps out and chaos takes the wheel. On today's episode, the crew tackles winter survival mistakes, social etiquette nightmares, and the very thin line between being helpful and becoming a Dateline episode.We kick things off with cold-weather car chaos, including why pouring boiling water on your windshield is a fast track to buying a new one. From broken ice scrapers to keys snapping off in car doors, the show relives some truly traumatic winter vehicle memories—proving once again that our parents somehow survived the ‘90s without hand sanitizer or logic.Things escalate when Lern admits to waking up a stranger who was asleep in her running car at a gas pump. Was it the right thing to do? Was it wildly unsafe? Should you ever approach a sleeping stranger? The room splits immediately, instant feedback pours in, and suddenly paramedics, gut instincts, and Ted Bundy references enter the chat. Just another calm morning on a daily comedy show.From there, the crew debates the art of car napping, the safest places to snooze between jobs, and why sleeping near playgrounds is always a hard no. Add in rest stop horror stories, debit-card-out-the-window driving hacks, and aggressive opinions about heater naps, and you've got a masterclass in American exhaustion.The episode also tackles one of life's biggest modern dilemmas: is it rude not to talk to your Uber driver? From quiet ride preferences to unhinged conspiracy chats, the gang breaks down the polite ways to avoid conversation without becoming a monster. Bonus content includes massage therapists who chew ice mid-session and why that should absolutely be illegal.Then it's time for Facebook Marketplace Price Is Right, featuring a homemade Predator helmet with real dreadlocks, questionable pricing strategies, and immediate rule disputes—because nothing says democracy like arguing over cosplay gear from Eureka, Missouri.The chaos continues with National Fart Day, showering-with-a-friend discourse, disaster preparedness reminders, and a shocking realization that some people don't know where their smoke detectors are. The show wraps with some hometown pride as St. Louis racks up major nominations as one of the best beer cities in America—because if there's one thing STL knows, it's brewing and arguing.If you like sarcastic humor, awkward social situations, weird news, and conversations that spiral wildly out of control, this daily comedy podcast is exactly what you deserve.Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshow Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShow Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.Winter driving hacks you should (and shouldn't) tryMale Cook Died In Olive Garden HorrorEastbourne: Former public toilet to become Mexican restaurant and shop as plans approvedThe Best Super Bowl Snack Of All Time, According To Delish FansHoney product recalled over undeclared erectile dysfunction ingredientSt. Louis Galleria restaurant recently closed with little notice after more than 30 yearsNew study finds the “100 Most Romantic Restaurants” across the countryThe Most Romantic Drive-Thru in the U.S. Is Opening Just in Time for Valentine's DaySt. Louis nominated top beer city in USA TODAY 10Best awardsSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

    Meet my friends, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton! If you love Verdict, the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show might also be in your audio wheelhouse. Politics, news analysis, and some pop culture and comedy thrown in too. Here’s a sample episode recapping four takeaways. Give the guys a listen and then follow and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts. Buck's NASA Visit Buck Sexton shares firsthand insights from his visit to NASA and Blue Origin, transitioning the discussion into national security, defense manufacturing, and the future of American military power. He describes what he calls a renaissance in U.S. defense and aerospace innovation, emphasizing the growing importance of advanced manufacturing, artificial intelligence, drone warfare, hypersonic weapons, and rapid production capabilities. Buck explains that modern warfare increasingly depends on technological superiority and scale, warning that the ability to manufacture advanced systems quickly may determine future conflicts more than traditional troop strength. Clay and Buck also discuss how Silicon Valley’s relationship with the U.S. military has evolved, crediting the Trump administration with pushing major technology companies to reengage with national defense efforts. They highlight concerns about China’s manufacturing capacity and argue that American tech companies have a responsibility to support U.S. national security. The hosts draw historical parallels to World War II–era industrial mobilization, suggesting that today’s defense challenges require similar cooperation between private industry and government. The final segment of Hour 1 explores the rapid commercialization of space and the growing influence of companies like SpaceX and Blue Origin. Buck Sexton describes space exploration as entering a new era driven by private enterprise, faster launch capabilities, and long‑term ambitions such as low‑Earth‑orbit infrastructure and lunar missions. Clay Travis connects these developments to broader trends in media, technology, and artificial intelligence, noting how formerly separate industries are rapidly converging into a single interconnected ecosystem. Have You Noticed this About Epstein? Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show is anchored by an extended, in‑depth discussion of the latest Jeffrey Epstein document release, with Clay Travis and Buck Sexton analyzing the significance of more than three million pages of emails and records made public. The hosts argue that the Epstein story has effectively reached its endpoint, contending that the newly released materials do not reveal criminal evidence against additional high‑profile figures. They frame Epstein primarily as a wealthy facilitator who leveraged access to attractive, of‑age women to ingratiate himself with powerful, older men, rather than uncovering a broader, prosecutable conspiracy. The conversation includes discussion of reputational damage suffered by public figures named in the emails, distinctions between criminal conduct and morally questionable behavior, and why federal investigators typically do not release non‑criminal but embarrassing communications. Clay and Buck also address listener skepticism, calls into the show, and questions surrounding Ghislaine Maxwell’s conviction, emphasizing that her charges centered on trafficking for Epstein specifically, not a wider group of clients. Where is Nancy Guthrie? A major developing news story involving the disappearance of Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy Guthrie, in Arizona. Clay and Buck carefully walk through the known facts, including her age, physical limitations, and the troubling indicators surrounding the case, such as reports of blood at the scene. They caution against assuming the incident is connected to Savannah Guthrie’s celebrity, drawing comparisons to other tragic but random crimes involving relatives of famous individuals, including the murder of Michael Jordan’s father. The hosts stress that, based on available information, the case appears to be a serious and concerning missing‑person investigation rather than a targeted kidnapping, while urging listeners in Arizona to stay alert as law enforcement updates emerge. The tone shifts as Hour 2 moves into cultural commentary, beginning with a critique of the Grammy Awards and what Clay and Buck describe as its overtly political and “woke” messaging. They focus in particular on Billie Eilish’s statement that “no one is illegal on stolen land,” which sparks a broader discussion about celebrity activism and perceived hypocrisy. Clay highlights the response from the Tongva tribe, which publicly asserted that Billie Eilish’s Los Angeles mansion sits on their ancestral land and suggested she return the property if she truly believes her statement. The hosts use the moment to question performative politics in Hollywood and whether celebrities are willing to apply their rhetoric to their own personal wealth and property. Clay's Controversial Music Take Buck Sexton reports that the United States has shot down a suspected Iranian drone approaching a U.S. aircraft carrier, using the development to discuss the evolving nature of modern naval warfare. Buck explains how drone technology, hypersonic missiles, and ship‑killing capabilities are reshaping global military strategy, potentially turning aircraft carriers into high‑value targets in future conflicts. This segment underscores broader geopolitical tensions involving Iran, U.S. military readiness, and the changing balance of power in international security. The hour then pivots back to urgent domestic news, with continued updates on the disappearance and apparent abduction of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of Today Show co‑host Savannah Guthrie. Clay and Buck relay that the FBI is now involved, there is no surveillance footage, and authorities believe she was taken against her will in Tucson, Arizona. Emphasizing that this is one of the top stories on national newscasts, the hosts urge listeners—especially those in Arizona—to contact the FBI with any tips. They stress that there is limited verified information available and avoid speculation, framing the situation as a troubling and unresolved missing‑person case. Following the serious news, Hour 3 takes a sharp tonal turn into what becomes the most talked‑about and interactive segment of the entire program: Clay Travis’s declaration that Taylor Swift is the “modern‑day Beatles.” Clay doubles down on his cultural take, arguing that Taylor Swift’s songwriting catalog, longevity, and stadium‑selling power will endure for decades, much like The Beatles, while Buck Sexton strongly disagrees. The debate quickly ignites a flood of listener reaction, with calls, emails, and talkbacks pouring in from across the country. Listeners challenge the comparison, propose alternative analogies—such as Taylor Swift being more akin to Elvis or Madonna—and passionately defend or reject Clay’s argument. 1. U.S. Government & Political Context The podcast opens with a brief discussion of the government shutdown that ended quickly, and is evidence of political posturing rather than substantive conflict. The transition sets the stage for broader national security concerns rather than domestic legislative issues. 2. Emergence of the Polisario Front as a National Security Threat The Polisario Front, a separatist group in Western Sahara founded in 1973, is presented as an underrecognized but growing terrorist threat. Iran is funding, training, and supplying the group, attempting to turn it into a West African proxy similar to the Houthis. Alleged activities include: Collaboration with Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Hezbollah Use of drones, weapons transfers, and regional destabilization Labeling the group as a terrorist organization is essential, this represents a dangerous blind spot in U.S. counterterrorism policy. 3. Accusation of Institutional Caution and “Deep State” Resistance State Department officials are portrayed as intentionally evasive during Senate testimony. The analysis claims this reluctance stems from: Ongoing diplomatic efforts in Africa Desire to avoid disrupting negotiations involving Morocco and Algeria 4. Iran at a “Tipping Point” Iran has become internally fragile, facing: Widespread protests Mass casualties allegedly ranging from 10,000–40,000 protesters The Iranian regime’s actions (e.g., drones near U.S. naval assets, attempted tanker seizures) are interpreted as provocations meant to rally domestic support and distract from internal collapse.: Negotiations with Iran are a delaying tactic The U.S. should support Iranian protesters directly, including by providing weapons Regime change is framed as: Preferable if carried out by Iranians themselves Potentially the largest positive national security shift since the Cold War if successful. 5. Global Domino Effect Narrative Iran is grouped with Venezuela and Cuba as regimes allegedly near collapse. Simultaneous democratic transitions in all three would represent a historic geopolitical realignment in favor of U.S. interests. 6. Netflix–Warner Bros. Merger & National Security Concerns The proposed $83 billion Netflix–Warner Bros. merger is criticized on two main grounds: Cultural and ideological influence The entertainment industry is portrayed as overwhelmingly left‑leaning and hostile to conservative or pro‑American perspectives. Concern that increased market power could amplify ideological “propaganda.” Foreign influence Alarm over foreign (especially Middle Eastern and Chinese) capital shaping American entertainment content. Content has been altered or censored to appease foreign governments. The merger is not merely an antitrust issue but as a matter of national sovereignty and cultural security. They break down how late-night shows operate, the $15-a-day food myth, why American dishes were built on function, and what giving away meals really teaches about work. Is America finally coming to its senses? Glenn lists off everything that requires an ID to participate in, so why does the left treat voter ID like it's Jim Crow? Glenn urges Congress to pass the SAVE Act, or else America will forever suffer the consequences. Glenn announces a Torch event taking place at Ellis Island in New York to celebrate and honor the beauty of American immigration. In this episode of "Relatable," Allie breaks down the newest Epstein files released, explaining what the millions of pages of documents really show about prominent political figures. She exposes AI hoaxes, fake “Epstein emails,” and the disturbing but verified correspondence between Jeffrey Epstein and physician Peter Attia. Allie then analyzes Nicki Minaj's outspoken pro-Christian, anti-Democrat turn and contrasts it with the hypocrisy of celebrities like Billie Eilish and Justin Bieber at the Grammys who call for “ICE OUT” while relying on heavy security and gated estates. She also highlights a landmark legal victory for detransitioner Fox Varian, arguing that doctors who push gender surgeries and cross-sex hormones on minors must be held legally accountable. Finally, she critiques the rise of platonic co-parenting, defending the Christian vision of marriage, family, and children's rights against progressive social experiments. If you haven't been following conservative media for a long time, you might not know that there have actually been many eras of Tucker Carlson. He launched his career in print journalism before landing under the bright lights of Fox News in 2009. That's where he developed his super power – giving his audience exactly what they want, and feeding some of their worst impulses again and again under the glossy veneer of respectability. New Yorker staff writer Jason Zengerle first met Carlson back in the 1990s and has been following his career ever since. His new book, "Hated by All the Right People: Tucker Carlson and the Unraveling of the Conservative Mind," examines Carlson's evolution and the media's. We spoke with Zengerle about Carlson's past and what his shifting priorities reveal about American politics.And in headlines, the House narrowly passes a spending bill to end the partial government shutdown, Renee Good's brothers testify before Congressional Democrats, and a U.S. fighter jet shoots down an Iranian drone.Show Notes: Check out Hated by All the Right People: Tucker Carlson and the Unraveling of the Conservative Mind Call Congress – 202-224-3121 Subscribe to the What A Day Newsletter – https://tinyurl.com/3kk4nyz8 What A Day – YouTube – https://www.youtube.com/@whatadaypodcast Follow us on Instagram – https://www.instagram.com/crookedmedia/ For a transcript of this episode, please visit crooked.com/whataday

TRUMP  Macron's Authorities Raid Elon Musk's X French Offices in Paris Under the direction of France's globalist President Macron, French authorities escalated their confrontation with American tech entrepreneur Elon Musk this week, launching high-profile raids of X's offices in Paris and summoning Musk himself for what prosecutors termed a “voluntary interview.” The move marks a dramatic intensification of France's long-running effort to rein in the America-based free-speech platform. According to the Paris public prosecutor's office, the operation was carried out by French cybercrime units with assistance from Europol, targeting the French premises of X. Authorities claim the investigation centers on whether X's algorithm improperly influenced French political discourse. Summonses were issued to Musk and former X CEO Linda Yaccarino, calling them to Paris in April 2026 to answer questions related to the probe. Yaccarino, who stepped down last year, is listed alongside Musk as a manager during the period under review.   French prosecutors later broadened their inquiry, citing concerns related to X's AI chatbot Grok, including claims it produced offensive or false content. Musk's company responded by correcting errors, removing disputed posts, and publicly documenting its moderation actions—steps critics say would have been praised had they come from a European firm. Facing ‘Imminent Financial Collapse' Admits Secretary General as Countries Won't Cough Up Membership Fees The United Nations is facing an “imminent financial collapse” as member states refuse to cough up billions of dollars in mandatory contributions. The financial woes were laid out in an emergency letter from Secretary-General António Guterres sent to all 193 member countries. Guterres said the organisation's financial crisis is worsening rapidly, threatening the delivery of core programmes and potentially leaving the U.N. bankrupt by July. He urged member states to either pay what they owe in full or agree to sweeping changes to the UN's financial rules to avoid collapse. “Either all member states honour their obligations to pay in full and on time—or member states must fundamentally overhaul our financial rules to prevent an imminent financial collapse,” he wrote. The warning comes as the United States, the U.N.'s largest contributor, has refused to fund the organisation's regular and peacekeeping budgets and has withdrawn from multiple UN agencies.    The Trump administration has repeatedly criticised the U.N. for wasting taxpayer dollars, appeasing criminal regimes and infringing on the sovereignty of the U.S. and other member nations. Several other member states are also in arrears or have declined to pay their assessed contributions. Refrigerators containing unknown liquids and vials of suspected biological material were found inside the residence, prompting an aggressive response from HazMat teams, SWAT units, and FBI specialists due to the potential threat presented by the materials, The Hill reported. At least one individual was taken into custody in connection with the Las Vegas raid, identified by local officials as a 55-year-old property manager, Ori Solomon. He is currently booked on felony charges linked to the improper disposal of hazardous waste, though investigators continue to determine the full scope of charges that may arise. Property records reveal that the Las Vegas home is owned by “David Destiny Discovery, LLC,” according to The Sun. If that name sounds familiar, it should. This would effectively keep the government open while allowing Republican senators to break through the “zombie” filibuster and put the SAVE America Act up for a vote on the Senate floor. The standing filibuster is not common parliamentary procedure, but it is one of the only mechanisms available to go around senators who want to block voter ID. @LeaderJohnThune we are very pleased that you are discussing the standing filibuster, and we believe you will go down in history if this is pulled off as one of the best leaders the Senate has ever had. In one year we have seen more productive conservative change in the federal government than with every other GOP president since Reagan combined. Trump has significantly degraded the Deep State in a way most of us could only dream of ten years ago. Moreover, Trump's economic policies are bearing fruit right now and we will likely see a very strong economy by the midterms. But… Ah yes, the midterms. I know so many of you will only be happy when Bill Clinton, Hillary, Obama and Joe Biden are in jail, but you need to join the world of reality. Right now Trump and his team are gauging everything they do through the lens of “How will this effect the midterms?” They have sophisticated polling that you and I will never see, and at the moment every Trump action is tempered by “Let's be aggressive but not in such a way it turns public opinion against us before the midterms.” Trump knows that if he loses the midterms, all is lost. The Dems will constantly impeach him and most of his cabinet, and even if the Senate never convicts, the acts of impeachment will grind the Trump machine to a halt. The midterms are everything. So I'm warning you, from now until November you are going to see a less aggressive Trump If you are a Doomster for whom nothing is ever enough, you need to understand why that is. But here is the good news. I believe that one day after the midterms Trump will once again go shock and awe for a year, and then back off again in 2028 to get JD or Rubio elected. (For example, I can easily see Trump taking zero drastic action in the near term to further inflame the Minnesota situation, but invoking the Insurrection Act the day after the midterms and sending in the 82nd.) Since the Super Bowl is coming up, consider it this way: In the first quarter, Trump ran up the score. In the second quarter, he went prevent defense to hold onto the lead. After halftime, once again in the third quarter he will run up the score, and then hold the lead in the fourth quarter to win the game. This is not Qtard “trust the plan” nonsense. This is simply good political strategy. Everyone needs to realize two things: (1) the Constitution includes checks and balances that inherently weaken the absolute power of each branch and (2) even though they are in the minority, Democrats still have a HUGE say. Our system is DESIGNED THIS WAY. We have to account for the opposition—you cannot ignore them. With that in mind, I have every confidence that Trump and his team will navigate through a treacherous course and come out on the winning side. I’m hoping this post makes the things you see in the months ahead more comprehensible. Have a nice day. https://twitter.com/nicksortor/status/2018742785017336107?s=20   the SAVE Act is not included in the government funding bill that advanced via the 217-215 House procedural vote on February 3, 2026. That legislation is a $1.2 trillion spending package funding most federal agencies through September 30, 2026, while extending funding for the Department of Homeland Security only through February 13, 2026, to allow for further negotiations on immigration enforcement. Efforts by some conservative Republicans to attach the SAVE Act—a separate bill requiring proof of U.S. citizenship for federal voter registration—were rejected during the process, following calls from President Trump to pass the package without changes.  (function(w,d,s,i){w.ldAdInit=w.ldAdInit||[];w.ldAdInit.push({slot:13499335648425062,size:[0, 0],id:"ld-7164-1323"});if(!d.getElementById(i)){var j=d.createElement(s),p=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];j.async=true;j.src="//cdn2.customads.co/_js/ajs.js";j.id=i;p.parentNode.insertBefore(j,p);}})(window,document,"script","ld-ajs");

    Our democracy has been hijacked by an elite pedophile ring–one that has always been operating in plain sight. This week, Andrea and Russian mafia expert Olga Lautman dig into the horror show of the recently released Epstein files. As students of Soviet history, we know the truth: what we know is horrific, but what has yet to be revealed is much worse. Did Epstein, Trump, and their friends kill for pleasure–how many of their victims were murdered or died by suicide? Who wrote Epstein an email about a torture video? Is that person in power, wielding influence over our lives? We also examine Epstein's freelance intelligence work, showing how he collected kompromat to consolidate power through elite capture, pollinating corruption through the transnational crime syndicate, especially the autocratic regimes of Russia and Israel.  We lift up the voices of the survivors and their advocates who demand the full release of the Epstein Files. Despite a bipartisan Congressional act, only an estimated half of the six million files have been released. Convicted felon Donald Trump's former personal defense attorney, Todd Blanche, is the Deputy Attorney General, helping lead the cover-up. The only silver lining in this extreme darkness is that the truth is finally coming to light, and American society, especially the media who glamorized Epstein, are no longer able to ignore it.  For our bonus episode this week, we answer your questions about the Epstein files, rising autocracy, and more. If you're looking for calm, structure, and professionalism… you are aggressively lost. This episode of The Rizzuto Show is a daily comedy show operating at full chaos capacity.We kick things off with one of the most on-brand news stories in American history: a police officer named John Murica hitching a ride on the back of a Ford pickup truck to catch a bike thief. Was it the Fourth of July? Sadly no. Was “Fortunate Son” playing? Absolutely yes. Is this the most patriotic thing to happen this year? We're saying yes without hesitation.Then things spiral into a brand-new game: Around the Horn – Mind Meld Edition, where the gang attempts to think alike and instead exposes just how differently their brains are wired. Winter activities, ice cream toppings, body parts, doctor's offices — friendships are tested, conspiracies are accused, and Scott's handwriting once again becomes the villain.From there, we dive headfirst into one of the most heated debates the show has ever hosted: Seattle vs Boston — which city is the better rock town? Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Hendrix, Aerosmith, Dropkick Murphys… the receipts are pulled, the bias is admitted, and an expert is called in to officially settle it. (Boston fans, maybe sit this one out.)Sports fans aren't left behind either. Cardinals broadcaster Chip Carey joins the show to finally explain what the hell is going on with Cardinals games, streaming, cable, MLB involvement, and why it shouldn't feel this complicated to watch baseball in 2026. We also get into trades, prospects, Yadi's new role, and what the future actually looks like — minus the usual panic spiral.And just when you think things might settle down, Rizz casually reviews Rafe's new house live on the air, assigning it a numerical score like it's a kitchen remodel on HGTV. There are opinions on shoveling, floating stairs, blind dogs, grocery-bag moving strategies, and whether knocking on walls is normal human behavior.It's messy. It's loud. It's heartfelt for like 12 seconds before someone ruins it. In other words, it's a daily comedy show doing exactly what it does best.Follow The Rizzuto Show → https://linktr.ee/rizzshowConnect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast → https://1057thepoint.com/RizzShowHear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.Minivans Are Making a Comeback For All the Right Reasons Justin Fischer Costco x Nike SB Dunk Resale Prices: Inside the NumbersWashington Police Officer Named Merica Hops in Back of Resident's Pickup Truck to Catch up to Suspect on a BicycleSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

    If you've ever wondered what peak American efficiency looks like, allow us to introduce Officer John ‘Merica — who literally hopped into the back of a Ford pickup truck to help catch a bike thief while Fortunate Son played like it was scripted by the universe. That alone earns this episode a permanent place in daily comedy show history.But that's just the opening act.The real chaos begins when the Rizz Show crew unveils Around the Horn: Mind Meld Edition, a seemingly innocent word game that immediately exposes competitive instincts, questionable handwriting, defensive strategies, and one of the most intense debates over whether “Tequila” and “Tequila Sunrise” are legally the same thing. (They are not. According to Riz. Final ruling.)From winter activities that absolutely shouldn't count, to body parts no one planned on saying out loud, to sudden death purse contents deciding the final winners — this episode spirals exactly the way you want a daily comedy show to spiral: loudly, unnecessarily, and with just enough confusion to keep it interesting.Accusations of conspiracies fly. Southern Illinois logic makes an appearance. Tang is deployed as a strategic answer. And somehow, through all of this, two winners emerge while everyone else questions their life choices.This is the Rizz Show at its finest — weird news, competitive nonsense, and real-time arguments that only make sense if you were there… which is why you should be here. So friends, can I ask you a question? Does it feel like it might be time to start talking about a constitutional do-over?We have a corrupt and criminal president who feels completely unconstrained by the United States Constitution. As but one example: he has abused the constitutional pardon power beyond anybody's wildest imagination. We have a majority on the Supreme Court that feels completely unconstrained by the expressed language of the Constitution. As but one example, the Constitution provides that the president shall take care that the laws of the nation be faithfully executed. Yet the Supreme Court - a majority of the justices - interpreted that very language, that solemn duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, as indicating that a president has complete leeway to violate all the laws of our nation, victimizing wide swaths of the American population, and he has complete immunity from prosecutionThen we have Congress - one political party that has just laid down and let a tyrant in the oval office walk all over them - completely abandoning their status as a coequal branch of government.So let me ask you again friends: do you think it's time we talked about a constitutional do-over? Well, that's what I just talked about with my friend, law professor, and constitutional scholar Kim Wehle. Kim authored a great new piece - you can find it on Substack appropriately titled, "Is it time to start thinking about a constitutional do-over". And given that our Constitution is plainly not up to the task of governing in these dangerous and lawless times, I think the answer to that question is not just yes but hell yes! Is America being pulled apart on purpose? Jillian Michaels sits down with wildly popular political pundit and radio host Jesse Kelly for a brutally honest look at the current state of the country. From the shocking reports of medical professionals refusing care to political opponents to the "communist" tactics infiltrating American institutions, the reality of the border crisis, and the terrifying concept of "struggle sessions" making their way into modern society, Jesse outlines exactly how and why civilized society is descending into chaos.   Jesse also breaks down the 2030 apportionment map and explains the strategic demographic shifts that are changing the political landscape forever. In this episode: The Cultural Divide: Why politics has become a "blood sport" and how it impacts day-to-day life, from flying on airplanes to doctors' visits. "Struggle Sessions": Jesse explains the historical communist roots behind modern public shaming and cancel culture. The "Normie" Problem: Why ignoring politics is no longer an option if you want to protect your freedom. Immigration & The Census: A hard look at the "Apportionment Map," the 2030 Census, and allegations of gaming the electoral college through open borders. After the madness of the past decade, it can feel impossible to tell where we're at in our political story as a country. Between Trump kidnapping the president of Venezuela, his ludicrous threats toward Greenland, and the ICE murders in Minneapolis, are we seeing the literal death of American democracy, or are we seeing the last gasps of a dying reactionary movement that has overextended itself? This week, Adam sits with Osita Nwanevu, a columnist at The Guardian and Contributing Editor at New Republic. Together, they discuss whether we're in the ashes of democracy or the fertile soil for a better America. 3 of 7 unpacks why Greenland has moved to the center of global attention: a mix of historical claims, Cold War-era bases, NORAD radar positioning, and the strategic pathway for intercontinental missiles. They trace American interest from WWII through Truman to Trump's public mentions and the island's continued military relevance. The episode also explores Greenland's natural wealth — lithium, rare earths, uranium and other minerals under the ice — and how those deposits factor into a tech-driven resource race with China and Russia. A major segment examines “Praxis” and venture-backed proposals (linked to figures like Peter Thiel and tech leaders) to build libertarian smart cities or testing grounds in sparsely populated areas, and why Greenland has been touted as an ideal site. Key takeaways: Greenland's importance is both military and economic; private tech capital and political maneuvering are accelerating interest; environmental, ethical and sovereignty questions complicate any acquisition; and the conversation ties into larger themes about future governance, consolidated power, and global competition. After the Irish fought for and won their independence from the British in 1921, they had a problem. Centuries of exploitation had left the island one of the least forested nations in Europe, with less than 2% tree cover.  So, they started planting a non-native American tree: fast-growing Sitka spruce capable of rebuilding their timber resources in record time. And it worked. Today, about 17% of the island is forested. But in the rural areas where iconic rolling hills have been replaced by rows and rows of conifers, farmers are not happy.  Outside/In host Nate Hegyi takes us to County Leitrim, an area of Ireland hit hard by the Troubles and the Great Famine, to meet the townspeople who are fighting what they say is a new wave of colonialism: Sitka spruce plantations. Produced by Nate Hegyi. For a transcript and full list of credits, go to outsideinradio.org.  SUPPORT Outside/In is made possible with listener support. LINKS Donal Magner wrote a book covering the history of Ireland's forests and timber industry.  Sitka spruce plantations are controversial in other parts of Ireland as well, including Cork.  There are also efforts to rewild parts of Ireland with entirely native trees and to protect and restore carbon-sequestering bogs.  It can be really tough to figure out exactly what was growing in Ireland thousands of years ago – but these scientists used ancient pollen counts to figure it out. Researchers at University College Dublin produced a detailed socio-economic impact report on Sitka spruce plantations and County Leitrim in 2019. Learn more about your ad choices. A significant industry has emerged of expectant mothers flying from China to states such as California or U.S. territories such as Saipan to give birth to American citizens, says investigative reporter Peter Schweizer.As soon as the newborn is old enough to fly, mother and child travel back to China with their babies. Chinese state-run media began promoting such services years ago, Schweizer says.“They are exploiting this on a massive scale,” Schweizer said. “It's industrial, and we are completely oblivious to it.”He estimates there are tens of thousands of such cases per year. When the child turns 21, their parents can then potentially claim green cards through them.There are also growing anecdotes of surrogacy as another preferred route.“Politically connected elites in China ... are hiring women in the United States to carry their children. They call them carriers. And these women are American citizens,” Schweizer says.Schweizer is the author of multiple New York Times bestsellers, including most recently “The Invisible Coup: How American Elites and Foreign Powers Use Immigration as a Weapon.”In this episode, he breaks down some of the incredible findings of his book.Over the course of history, “migration has oftentimes been used as a weapon: a weapon of subversion, a weapon to overwhelm an enemy, a weapon to divide an enemy, a weapon to sow chaos,” he says.Views expressed in this video are opinions of the host and the guest, and do not necessarily reflect the views of The Epoch Times.

    Colin Woodard posits that America is not really a country, it's a dozen or so distinct nations with their own cultures and ideologies which are constantly battling for supremacy. His new book "Nations Apart: How Clashing Regional Cultures Shattered America." In it he argues that  argues that deep-seated cultural divisions, stemming from different colonial settlement patterns, are the root cause of modern American political polarization, inequality, and threats to democracy. The book uses historical and data-driven analysis to show how these regional cultures clash on issues like gun control, immigration, and abortion, and proposes a renewal based on the unifying ideals of the Declaration of Independence.    "America is Eleven Different Countries"  https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/america-is-eleven-different-countries/id1439837349?i=1000646222225   SUPPORT THE SHOW!
