A newly discovered FBI document reveals that George Bush was directly involved in the 1963 murder of President John Kennedy. The document places Bush working with the now famous CIA agent, Felix Rodriguez, recruiting right-wing Cuban exiles for the invasion of Cuba. It was Bush's CIA job to organize the Cuban community in Miami for the invasion. The Cubans were trained as marksmen by the CIA. Bush at that time lived in Texas. Hopping from Houston to Miami weekly, Bush spent 1960 and '61 recruiting Cubans in Miami for the invasion. That is how he met Felix Rodriguez. Furthering the discussion last week on the absence of a connection between the CIA and Agent Camarena's abduction, this week we look at the statement of former DEA Agent Cele Castillo, the allegations regarding the involvement of Felix Rodriguez, and the alleged connection between Agent Camarena's murder and the assassination of journalist Manuel Buendia. In sum, we find no evidence to support the uncorroborated testimonials of wholly unreliable witnesses and are persuaded by the absence of any contemporaneous evidence indicating involvement by the CIA in Agent Camarena's abduction, interrogation, or murder.

The people behind the NRA are as evil and cruel as you imagined. In this episode we share some lesser known stories about some of NRA's “iconic” leaders like Oliver North, and their bloodstained resumes. We also discuss the Uvalde school massacre timeline and the anemic, shameful, and cowardly police response. If you like our content, please support us by becoming a patron. As Adam Serwer pointed out in 2018, "The Cruelty is the Point." That's why, for example, the right wingers like people like Oliver North leading the NRA, and people like Felix Rodriguez training their torturers and assassins. We discuss the El Mozote massacre orchestrated by death squads in the El Salvador military during the Reagan administration, and how people like North and Rodriguez trained them. They also orchestrated the killing of Archbishop Oscar Romero, 40 of his funeral attendees, and the four Maryknoll nuns raped, murdered, and bured in a roadside Salvadoran mass grave. The right loves their sadists... 1, 2, 3, 4 We also discuss the recent developments in the investigation into the timeline of the Uvalde, Texas mass shooting and the failure of a police response to the incident. Why did 19 children die while cops waited in the hallway? Those cops get 40% of the town's budget, and yet didn't have the equipment they say they needed, and had to wait on a tactical unit from a federal agency to come end the shooting incident for them. The response of Uvalde law enforcement commanders has been less than reassuring, considering the person who wrote the FBI's training guide on mass shooting response says the local cops did it all wrong. 5 Oh, and a pastor at an Arlington, Texas city council meeting wants to execute the gays (again). See? Like we said, they love their sadists. 6 1. Adam Serwer. The Cruelty Is the Point. The Atlantic. October 2018. ⇤2. Raymond Bonner. Massacre of Hundreds Reported in Salvador Village.

17 years ago today, I woke up in Half Moon Bay, got into my car and headed north on Highway 1… The fog had already burnt off and it was an absolutely gorgeous HMB morning. While on the drive I got a call from Brendan Royer, aka Smokey Pokey, one of my best friends who wanted to let me know he was headed to the Giants/A's game I would be playing in that afternoon in San Francisco… Brendan was going to be sitting in the front row of the centerfield bleachers and insisted he and his twin brother Brian, aka Buckwheat, would be rooting for the Giants and heckling me every chance they got. I told him to fuck off & to make sure to catch the ball I was going to hit to them… A few hours later in my 3rd at bat, I sent a ball headed straight for the Royer twins in the centerfield bleachers… Unfortunately I hit it a little too well and the ball flew right over their heads… That was my 3rd hit of the day… I had singled in my first at bat, doubled in my second and now homered in my 3rd… In my fourth at bat I hit another double and came to the plate my last at bat against flamethrower Felix Rodriguez with a chance to go 5-5 for the first time in my career and also with a chance to hit for the cycle if I could somehow find a way to hit a triple… With 2 strikes, Felix threw a nasty slider down and away that I was able to serve into centerfield… I was elated that I just fought off a filthy pitch for my 5th hit but then something funny happened. Carlos Valderama, who was playing centerfield, slipped and the ball went over his head… I turned on the jets and raced around first, then second… As I pulled into 3rd base I slapped 3rd base coach Ron Washington then looked into the dugout where I saw all the boys standing on the top step clapping… Wash then chimed in: “Your crazy ass just hit for the cycle… And look at these mother fucking people in the stands… They are giving you a standing O!!!!” Tough to describe the emotions and feelings that went through my body at that moment. I had just hit for the first ever cycle at Pac Bell Park against the team I grew up rooting for with what I would say was hundreds of family and friends in attendance… When I ran out to the outfield after the inning I got another standing ovation from the crowd that was notorious for roasting me and every other opposing outfielder… I was in left field but I looked over to the Royer twins in center, waited for them to look my direction and then very discreetly gave them the old one finger salute. After the game my family was waiting for me outside the visitors clubhouse. My Dad used to love using the word “magical” but usually refrained to ever use it around me because I thought it was dorky and I would typically roll my eyes… When I saw him he looked at me with a big ass grin on his face and said 2 words… “Magical Day!” EB P.S. To celebrate the 17 year cycle anniversary, we figured we would chase another June 29th epic feat and run 72 miles around Lake Tahoe today… Check in on the adventure and progress on my Instagram Story Time. Of course, we use any ridiculous endurance undertaking as an opportunity to raise funds for the Let Them Play Foundation.

This week we interview Felix Rodriguez of Open-Honest and Plain Speak. We also dive deep into the Norman and lo-fi hiphop music scene.

But without hard evidence, the United States couldn't get too involved . .. so they sent in foreign CIA agent Felix Rodriguez to see the mission through. Maja Ivarsson och Felix Rodriguez har gästat Finland otaliga gånger med The Sounds och deras nya duo Crew of me & you.

Lagom till bandets 20-årsjubileum startade Maja och Felix den nya synthduon Crew of Me & You som nu släpper sin första singel "Come out and play". Felix Rodriguez is here, Jay Maus comes in for the last 5 minutes, we recorded this thing at 1 in the morning after a long, drunk D&D session, and she is a freewheeling escapade into the unexplored lunatic fringe of podcasting! My notes were the kind of sloppy crime scene that leaves the rookie puking in the corner so you’ll have to navigate these choppy waters mostly by faith and blind touch, but if you got into listening to podcasts to play it safe, then I’m sad for you.

Television audiences are currently obsessed with shows like RuPaul's Drag Race and FX's Pose, presenting different angles on the profession and art of drag. New York City has been crucial to its current moment in pop culture and people have been performing and enjoy drag performers in this city for over 120 years. In the beginning there were two styles of drag -- vaudeville and ballroom. As female impersonators filled Broadway theaters -- one theater is even named for a famed gender illusionist -- thrill seekers were heading to the balls of Greenwich Village and Harlem. By the 1930s, the gay scene began retreating into the shadows, governed by mob control and harshly policed. By design, drag became political. It also became a huge counter-cultural influence in the late 1960s -- from the glamour of Andy Warhol's superstars to the jubilant schtick of Charles Busch. But it was the 1980s that brought the most significant influences to our current pop cultural moment. Joining Greg on this show are two experts on two late 80s/early 90s scenes -- Felix Rodriguez, a videographer of the ballroom culture (made famous by the film Paris Is Burning) and Linda Simpson, one of the great queens of East Village drag. FEATURING: Drag kings! Wigstock! And the famous drag queen who got struck by lightning. Support the show.

After that mission failed, he trained and led the team that hunted – and captured – the guerilla Che Guevara in Bolivia. By the late 1960s, he took his counterinsurgency experience and applied it in covert operations against America’s enemies in Vietnam. This, and much more. Warning: This podcast contains some salty language. Consider it PG-13.
