Gaja z Gajówki. Wakacyjna misja

Beli štorklji gre zelo dobro v Sloveniji. Letos so našteli največ gnezdečih parov v 26tih letih, odkar popisujejo belo štorkljo – kar 311 parov je gnezdilo in iz gnezd je poletelo rekordno število – 673 mladičev. O razlogih za prosperiteto bele štorklje v Sloveniji več Urša Gajšek iz DOPPS.

Bliskost, razumevanje, poštovanje izviru iz širokih osmeha poznatih novinara, bračnog para Aleksandra i Jelene Gajšek, koji su brojnim anegdotama, šalama, ali i ozbiljnim savetima, porukama i životnim iskustvom, ispunili studio Mamazjanije, uoči uskršnjih praznika, kroz priču o svom braku dugom više od 20 godina i najvećim ljubavima, Anji (23), Teodori (19) i Andreju (13). Deca su im moderna, a odgajana u tradicionalnom duhu. Ono čemu su Aleksandar i Jelena uvek težili je da im deca budu skromna, što je u današnje vreme, nažalost, osobina koja je retka i teško se stiče i održava. U razgovoru za Mamazjaniju pričaju koliko su ponosni na najstariju ćerku Anju, kojoj ništa nije teško, čak ni da pre zore ustaje i ide na posao, pa iako je moglo biti drugačije, ona je odabrala teži, ali možda lepši put. U kući Gajšeka, Jelena je organizator, a oboje ističu da je dobra organizacija doprinela opstanku porodice u savremeno doba, u kojem je vreme najveća dragocenost i čini se nemoguće napraviti pauzu za predah. Porodica se okuplja na zajedničkom ručku, a uvek se jede za stolom, naglašava Jelena. Jednoglasno kažu da se sa decom i dalje druže, iako su im ćerke odrasle, ali sada se njihovim okupljanjima, „pesničkim večerima“, pridružuju i drugari njihove dece, što im govori da ih vreme još „nije pregazilo“ i da deca, čak ni u adolescentskom periodu, ne moraju biti otuđena. „U pubertetu su ćerke prestale da mi se poveravaju i malo sam se zabrinuo, a onda sam negde pročitao kako se sa 25 vraćaju roditeljima, pa evo čekamo tu 25.“, sa osmehom kaže Aleksandar, dok Jelena povremeno dobacuje sa šalama, koje kod oboje u trenutku izmame osmeh, a on govori da su u pitanju dvoje ljudi, koji su zajedno neuništvi. Aleksandar i Jelena opisuju nam šta to znači tradicionalno vaspitanje i daju recept za održanje porodice u današnje vreme razvoda, individualnosti, otuđenosti. Oni otkrivaju koji je tajni sastojak uspeha njihovog dugog braka i skladne porodice, i da mladi danas mogu biti moderni i religiozni u isto vreme. Jelena se sa osmehom seća kako je to Aleksandar privukao „zdravim pogledom na svet“ kad su se prvi put sreli, ali i kako danas izgleda priprema zajedničke emisije, da li ih i koliko posao zbližava ili razdvaja. U njihovoj kući poštuje se religija, ali decu nikada nisu pritiskali da odlaze u crkvu ili da poste. Međutim, sada kod ćerki primećuju da se vraćaju religijskim vrednostima, iako vode moderne i urbane živote. One dokazuju da je i to moguće. Takođe, u razgovoru o religiji i crkvi, Jelena otkriva da li je istina da religiozni ljudi imaju predrasude prema homoseksualcima i koliko su zapravo mnogi u zabludi, jer „ako si normalan, gledaćeš kakav je neko čovek, i to je jedino što treba da nas zanima“.

Raidījuma Diplomātiskās pusdienas ceļi ved uz Gajānas Kooperatīvo Republiku Dienvidamerikā. Valstij ir tika īpatnējs, jo valsts ekonomiskā un politiskā iekārta 1970. gados “spēlējās” ar sociālisma idejām. Proti, no 1964. līdz 1985. gadam valstī centrālā politiskā figūra bija Forbss Burnhams. Viņa premjerēšanas un vēlākās prezidēšanas laikā Gajāna ieguva neatkarību no Lielbritānijas, kā arī pieņēma valsts konstitūciju un nosaukumu. Burnhamam patika kooperatīvā sociālisma idejas un tādēļ arī valsts kļuva par Kooperatīvo Republiku. Gajānas konstitūcija iekļāva lielu skaitu atsauču uz sociālismu un pārēju prom no kapitālisma sistēmas. Konstitūcijas pirmais pants noteica, ka “Gajāna ir nedalāma, demokrātiska, suverēna valsts, kas atrodas pārejā no kapitālisma uz sociālismu.” Jāsaka, ka “tīrs” sociālisms valstī arī nekad netika ieviests. Par nosaukumu gan vēl viena piezīme – vārds Gajāna, kas ir atvasinājums no Gviānas, oriģinālajās amerindiāņu valodās nozīmē “Daudzu ūdeņu zeme”. Un tā ir patiesība, jo Gajānas teritorijā ūdens patiešām netrūkst. Vēl vairāk – tur netrūkst arī necaurejamu lietusmežu. Vietas, kur cilvēks vēl nav spēris kāju. Attiecīgi uzskata, ka mīt dzīvnieki un augi, kurus pasaule vēl nepazīst. Tādēļ nav brīnums, ka tieši Gajāna bija iedvesmas avots Artūra Konana Doila 1912. gada novelei “Zudusī pasaule”. Gajāna ir vienīgā valsts Dienvidamerikas kontinentā, kur oficiālā valoda ir angļu. Valsts ir arī vienīgā Dienvidamerikā, kura ietilpst Nāciju Sadraudzībā. Iemesls tam, protams, ir vēsturisks, jo no 1815. gada līdz 1966. gadam Gajāna bija britu kolonija. Par britu koloniju Gajāna kļuva pēc tam, kad tā bija bijusi nīderlandiešu kolonija pāris gadsimtus līdz britu atnākšanai. Gajānas nepilnus 800 tūkstošus cilvēku nelielā sabiedrība jau tā multietniskajā, multirasu un multikulturālajā Dienvidamerikā, tāpat pamanās būs īpaša. Tas, ka daļa valsts iedzīvotāju – apmēram 30 procenti, ir afrikāņu izcelsmes, nepārsteidz. Tas ir vēsturiskās verdzības rezultāts. Bet tas, ka pēc verdzības atcelšanas 19. gadsimtā valstī iebrauca liels skaits cilvēku no Indijas, lai strādātu cukura plantācijās, ir savdabīgs fakts. Austrumindijas izcelsmes iedzīvotāji ir apmēram 40 procenti no visiem valstī dzīvojošajiem. Un šo divu gandrīz vienlīdzīgo kopienu politiskā līdzāspastāvēšana ir vienmēr bijis viens no lielākajiem Gajānas izaicinājumiem. Grupas ir dalītas ne tikai etniskajā un rasu izcelsmē, bet arī pēc reliģiskās piederības. Proti, trešā daļa valsts ir kristiešu protestanti. Ceturtā daļa tikmēr ir hinduisti. Interesanti, ka valstī ir reģistrēti arī 0,5 procenti rastafariānistu. Par tiem mēs jau esam stāstījuši Jamaikas raidījumā. Valsts pieredze ar demokrātiju ir bijusi ļoti nestabila un trausla. Lielākoties politiķi ir atraduši veidus, kā likumīgi vai puslikumīgi noturēties pie varas ilgāk un neļaut opozīcijai iegūt ietekmi. Sociālistiskās valdības un politikas ir mainījušās, bet tikai personāliju, nevis valsts kursa līmenī. Divu etnisko grupu attiecības izpaužas ne tikai balsošanas preferencēs, bet arī reizumis vardarbībā. Ekonomiskā situācija valstī arī ir īpatnēja. Proti, valsta IKP uz vienu iedzīvotāju pēc pirktspējas paritātes šobrīd ir nedaudz lielāks nekā Latvijas. Vēl pirms pieciem gadiem tas bija gandrīz trīs reizes mazāks. Vairāk nekā puse no valsts iedzīvotājiem ir izbraukuši. Vairāk nekā 80 procentu iedzīvotāju ar augstskolas izglītību ir pametuši Gajānu. Bet kā piecos gados valstij ir izdevies sasniegt tādu IKP strauju lēcienu? Ja iepriekš valsts lielākais ienākums bija ārvalstīs strādājošo mājiniekiem sūtītā nauda, tad tagad, protams, naftas ieguve ir kļuvusi par jaunā izrāviena stūrakmeni. Naftas atklāšana 2015. gadā ir kļuvusi par ekonomisko un politisko strīdus ābolu, kas varētu kādreiz nabadzīgāko reģiona valsti padarīt par bagātāko. Un naftas ieguve, protams, sāk aizstāt ne tikai tradicionālās saimnieciskās nodarbošanās, bet arī attieksmi pret vidi un klimatu. Boksītu un zelta ieguve, cukura ražošana, rīsu audzēšana, kokmateriālu eksports, tekstilrūpniecība – tie visi ir sektori, kurus nākotnē ļoti strauji var aizstāt naftas ieguve un finanšu sektors. Vēl vairāk – lielais mežu skaits valstī ir bijis iemesls, lai pelnītu ar oglekļa emisiju kvotu tirgošanu. Gajāna arī ir bijusi starp zaļākajām valstīm pasaulē, kura ilgstoši satraucas, ka klimata pārmaiņas un ūdens līmeņa pieaugums pasaules okeānos applūdinās lielu daļu tās teritorijas, tostarp arī galvaspilsētu Džordžtaunu. Piekrastes ūdens līmeņi Gajānas gadījumā pieaug straujāk nekā citviet pasaulē. Bet Gajānā atklātās naftas iegulas tiek mērītas ap 10 miljardiem barelu, respektīvi, lielākas nekā lielās, netālās kaimiņvalsts Meksikas atklātās rezerves, sāk mainīt arī Gajānas skatījumu uz klimata pārmaiņām un zaļumu kopumā. Valsts, kur klimata pārmaiņas nodara postu tiešā veidā gan rīsu laukiem, gan ganībām, dzīvniekiem saslimstot un noslīkstot augošajos ūdens līmeņos, maina savu skatījumu, jo redz naftu kā izeju no nabadzības. Valsts, kura bija viena no aktīvākajām klimata pārmaiņu apkarotājām, tagad ir pieņēmusi, ka nafta ir tās jaunā pasaka. Šī skatījuma maiņa ir brīnumaina un vienlaicīgi likumsakarīga. Draudi NATO Austrumu flangam. Venecuēla vēlas anektēt daļu Gajānas teritoriju. Simts 100 gadu vecumā mūžībā devies bijušais ASV valsts sekretārs Henrijs Kisindžers. Aktualitātes analizē Edijs Bošs, Rīgas Stradiņa universitātes asociētais profesors, TV3 žurnālists, Kristīne Bērziņa, Māršala fonda vecākā pētniece, un Jānis Bērziņš, Latvijas Nacionālās aizsardzības akadēmijas vadošais pētnieks. Diži pretrunīgais Henrijs Kisindžers (1923 – 2023) 29. novembrī pasauli aplidoja ziņa, ka 101. dzīves gadā savas šīs zemes gaitas beidzis politologs, diplomāts un politiķis, kādreizējais ASV valsts sekretārs, Nobela Miera prēmijas laureāts Henrijs Kisindžers. Dzimis Vācijas ebreju ģimenē, kura bija spiesta pamest dzimteni, bēgot no holokausta, Henrijs Otrajā pasaules karā cīnījās amerikāņu armijā, pēc tam studēja Hārvardā un kļuva par profesoru šai vienā no prestižākajām pasaules augstskolām. Pirmos soļus politikas laukā viņš spēra kā republikāņa Nelsona Rokfellera vairākkārtējo nominācijas kampaņu konsultants, bet 1969. gadā, kad par prezidentu kļuva Rokfellera partijas biedrs un sāncensis Ričards Niksons, tika aicināts ieņemt ietekmīgo nacionālās drošības padomnieka posteni. Tā iesākās viņa ārpolitikas veidotāja slavas laiks, kas kulminēja 1973. gadā, kad Kisindžers ieņēma arī valsts sekretāra, respektīvi, Savienoto Valstu ārlietu resora vadītāja amatu. To viņš saglabāja arī tad, kad pēc Niksona demisijas Votergeitas skandāla rezultātā viņa vietā stājās Džeralds Fords. Šis periods palicis vēsturē kā t.s. detantes – superlielvalstu ASV un PSRS attiecību relatīvas uzlabošanās – laiks, un šajā procesā nozīmīgi nopelni bija valsts sekretāram Kisindžeram. Tāpat lielā mērā viņa rokās bija Savienoto Valstu uzsāktais dialogs ar Ķīnas Tautas republiku, amerikāņu spēku atvilkšana no ilgstošā militārā konflikta Vjetnamā, Tuvo Austrumu situācijas līdzsvarošana pēc t.s. Salīdzināšanas dienas kara u.c. tālaika globālie procesi. 1977. gadā, kad Džeraldu Fordu prezidenta amatā nomainīja demokrāts Džimijs Kārters, Kisindžers aizgāja no politiskās skatuves avanscēnas, taču palika joprojām viena no ietekmīgākajām figūrām ārpolitiskās ekspertīzes vidē. Žurnāla „Foreign Affairs” autors Timotijs Naftali aizgājējam veltītajā rakstā pauž: „Henrijs Kisindžers tagad pieder vēsturei, kuru viņš pats palīdzējis veidot. Kā vienīgajam amerikāņu ierēdnim vēsturē, kura rokās ir bijušas visas ārpolitikas veidošanas sviras, kad viņš divus gadus bija vienlaikus nacionālās drošības padomnieks un valsts sekretārs, viņam nav līdzinieku ASV ārējo attiecību vēsturē lielvaru laikmetā. Kisindžera patiesie līdzinieki ir sendienu Eiropas lielvalstu monarhu padomdevēji (Šarls Moriss de Taleirāns, firsts Klemenss fon Meternihs un Oto fon Bismarks), kas liecina par viņa lomas unikalitāti modernajā laikmetā un par savdabību, kas piemita viņa savstarpēji atkarīgajām attiecībām ar demokrātiskas lielvaras vēlētu vadītāju. Kisindžers bija pretrunu cilvēks. Ar dzelžainu intelektu un nesalaužamu pašapziņu apveltīts, viņš tomēr bija emocionāls un dažkārt nedrošības vajāts. Alkatīgs lasītājs būdams, viņš tomēr varēja nonākt fiksētu ideju gūstā. Ja notikumi izrādījās pretrunā ar šīm idejām, Kisindžers krita uztraukuma bedrēs. Lai gan allaž uzticams miera idejai un diplomātijas valodas meistars, viņš bija arī riskētājs, kurš atzina ne vien draudēšanu ar vardarbību, bet arī tās pielietošanu. Tikai neordinārs partneris spēja panākt no Kisindžera maksimālo efektu. Apstākļiem, kas padarīja viņa karjeru iespējamu, bija vajadzīga ne vien indivīda ģenialitāte, bet arī nejaušību.” Cik laika mums ir? „Krievija ar tās impēriskajām ambīcijām ir vislielākais un spiedīgākais drauds NATO valstīm. Maskavas režīmam var būt nepieciešami tikai seši līdz desmit gadi no brīža, kad būs beigušās intensīvas kaujas Ukrainā, lai atjaunotu savus bruņotos spēkus. Šajā laikā Vācijai un NATO savi bruņotie spēki jāpadara spējīgi atturēt un, ja nepieciešams, cīnīties pret Krieviju. Tikai tad tie varēs mazināt vēl viena kara izcelšanās risku Eiropā.” Tā savu ziņojumu „Novēršot nākamo karu” iesāk Vācijas neatkarīgā politikas pētījumu institūta līdzstrādnieki Kristiāns Mellings un Torbens Šics. Vācijai, kā norāda autori, šai ziņā jāveic kvantitatīvs lēciens, kas nozīmētu ne vien strauju bruņojuma un armijas personālsastāva apjomu kāpināšanu, bet arī izmaiņas sabiedrības mentalitātē. Viņu tekstā pausto, mediju mudināti, komentējuši vairāki citi militārās nozares zinātāji. Šai sakarā, atbildot uz izdevuma „Warsaw Business Journal” jautājumu, Polijas Nacionālā drošības biroja vadītājs Jaceks Severa, bildis, ka, viņaprāt, vācu kolēģu aplēses esot pārāk optimistiskas. NATO austrumu flanga valstīm varētu būt atvēlēti trīs gadi, lai sagatavotu savu militāro potenciālu tādā līmenī, ka tas spētu atturēt Krieviju no agresijas. Nevalstiskā organizācija Pasaules Ukraiņu kongress oktobrī atsaukusies uz Ukrainas prezidenta Volodimira Zelenska teikto, ka gadījumā, ja karadarbību viņa valstī Krievijai izdotos iesaldēt, ap 2028. gadu būtu gaidāma tās nākamā agresija, visticamāk – pret Baltijas valstīm. Savukārt čehu izdevums „České Noviny” atstāstījis Čehijas prezidenta, atvaļinātā armijas ģenerāļa Petra Pavela teikto, proti – Krievijai pilnvērtīgai armijas kaujas spēju atjaunošanai būšot vajadzīgi pieci līdz septiņi gadi, bet šī kalkulācija var būtiski mainīties atkarībā no Ukrainā notiekošā kara rezultātā. Vai gaidāms agresijas karš Dienvidamerikā? 3. decembrī Venecuēlā notika konsultatīvs referendums, kurā balsstiesīgajiem tika uzdoti vairāki jautājumi, kuru būtība ir – vai viņi piekrīt, ka Venecuēla anektē teritoriju, ka tiek dēvēta par Gajānu Eskelibo un līdz šim ir bijusi Venecuēlas kaimiņvalsts Gajānas kontrolē. Laikos, kad Venecuēla bija Spānijas, bet Gajāna – Nīderlandes koloniālais valdījums, robežas šais džungļu klātajās zemēs ilgi palika nenovilktas. Par strīdus ābolu teritorija kļuva 19. gadsimta otrajā pusē, kad tagadējo Gajānu savā valdījumā bija ieguvusi Lielbritānija, Venecuēla bija kļuvusi  neatkarīga no Spānijas, savukārt Gajānu Eskelibo bija atklātas zelta atradnes. 1899. gadā starptautiska šķīrējtiesa lēma jautājumu par labu Britu impērijai, taču pagājušā gadsimta sešdesmitajos gados, kad Gajāna bija suverēna valstiskuma izveides procesā, Venecuēla jautājumu atkal aktualizēja. 1966. gadā starp Venecuēlu, Lielbritāniju un Gajānu noslēgtā vienošanās paredz, ka valstis risina jautājumu sarunu ceļā un, ja sarunu process nesekmējas, nodod to ANO ģenerālsekretāra izlemšanai. Pēdējais, savukārt, ir nodevis jautājuma risināšanu Starptautiskajai tiesai, kura 2020. gadā pieņēma izskatīšanai Gajānas prasību un šī gada 1. decembrī norādīja Venecuēlai atturēties no jebkādiem soļiem, kuri varētu mainīt esošo situāciju strīdus teritorijā. Gajāna Eskelibo veido apmēram divas trešdaļas no Gajānas teritorijas, tajā dzīvo apmēram 125 000 jeb nedaudz mazāk kā sestdaļa valsts iedzīvotāju. Pirms desmit gadiem tur atklātas bagātīgas naftas iegulas. Saskaņā ar Venecuēlas valdības apgalvoto, referendumā nodotas vairāk nekā desmit miljoni balsu, un apmēram 95% balsojuši par labu potenciālajai teritorijas aneksijai. Starptautiskie eksperti apšauba šo rezultātu patiesumu. Gajāna, reaģējot uz notikušo, atsaukusi savu vēstnieku Venecuēlā. Ar nosodošiem paziņojumiem nākuši klajā Nāciju Sadraudzības (agrāk dēvētas par Britu Sadraudzību) ģenerālsekretāre Patrisija Skotlenda, Amerikas Valstu organizācijas ģenerālsekretārs Luiss Almagro un Karību valstu kopienas vadība. Albania Duch krajobrazu - przełęcz  Llogara. To jest wyjątkowy odcinek, nagrywany na marginesie poszukiwań duchowości w Albanii. Jednak to tutaj pejzaże mogą budować życie duchowe człowieka! Wystarczy się dostroić. Wystarczy wybrać się chociażby… na przełęcz Llegara.    Nie jest to jakieś tajne, mistyczne miejsce, ale - znana i popularna atrakcja turystyczna. Trasa trudna, wymagająca, lecz i zapierająca dech. Droga - która  może przypomnieć, że pejzaż ma moc zmiany u człowieka.  Chociażby - zmiany nastroju. Starożytni Grecy wyrazili tę prawdę metaforycznie, formułując mit o gigancie Anteuszu, który czerpał wyjątkową moc z kontaktu ze swoją matką Gają. Wyglądało to tak, że dopóki czuł Ziemię pod stopami, to był nie do pokonania. A potem Herkules odkrył jego tajemnicę, a ,że nie miał w zwyczaju się certolić - uniósł Anteusza i trzymał go tak długo, aż gigant opadł z sił.  Wtedy go udusił. Okrutnie, lecz skutecznie i, jak zauważa Wilson, zwykli śmiertelnicy także słabną, kiedy tracą kontakt z Ziemią. Różnica polega na tym, że my, ludzie sami sobie – mniej lub bardziej świadomie – gotujemy ten los. Zatem - w drogę! Proponowana trasa zmian: Z miejscowości Vlore, aż do Sarandę na południu Albanii, bo tutaj biegnie ta niezwykła droga, a jej początkiem jest przełęcz Llogara. Przygodę można zacząć od Orkium, gdzie łapiemy oddech owiani adriatycką bryzą. *** Richard Louv, autor „Ostatniego dziecka lasu”, zauważa: przyroda jest dla ludzi coraz bliższa abstrakcji niż rzeczywistości. Obserwują ją z ekranu, konsumują odwinąwszy z plastikowej folii, zakładają na siebie po kupieniu w sklepie) i… ignorują. Przypłacają to stanem, który Louv określa jako zespół deficytu natury. *** Teoria regenerującego i leczniczego wpływu naturalnego krajobrazu jest wiekowa. Już Hipokrates twierdził że przyroda jest lekarstwem na każdą przypadłość. Zresztą już w starożytnym Egipcie leczono spacerami po ogrodach. W podręczniku „English Gardener” z 1699 r.  doradzano, by spędzać wolny czas na aktywności w ogrodzie: kopiąc, sadząc i pieląc. I - jak podejrzewam - obserwując piękno natury. Zaś podczas II wojny światowej pionier nowoczesnej psychiatrii Karl Menninger wprowadził ruch ogrodolecznictwa (hortiterapii) w system hospitalizacji weteranów. *** Przełęcz Llogara - to jest niezwykle poruszające miejsce, nic dziwnego, że we wszelkim przewodnikach - nazywana jest najpiękniejszą drogą w Europie, O tym rozmawiałam też z mieszkającym od 9 lat w Orikum Robertem Gizą, który zna przełęcz lepiej niż doskonale. *** Chyba wszystko zostało powiedziane po resztę - trzeba wybrać się w trasę osobiście.

Pa ga imamo! Prvi slovenski otroški božični film Kapa je po letu odloga in nekaj festivalih končno zasijal tudi na številnih filmskih platnih in takoj navdušil mlado in tudi nekoliko starejše občinstvo. Božiček, no, pravzaprav celo več njih, napeta pustolovščina, novo iskreno prijateljstvo in seveda tudi čisto pravi božični čudež s tremi tačkami so glavne sestavine te izredno simpatične dogodivščine, ki sta jo scenaristka Saša Eržen in režiser Slobodan Maksimović prefinjeno in z veliko občutka nadgradila tudi z bolj resnimi temami. Devetletni Erik bi moral praznike preživeti v mladinskem domu, dokler ni z žrebom poslan k bogataški družini, izhaja namreč iz problematičnega družinskega okolja, kjer sta prisotna alkohol in očitno pomanjkanje denarja, v internatu pa je tudi žrtev vrstniškega nasilja. Nič kaj božične teme torej, a ustvarjalni ekipi jih je uspelo tako spretno in pretanjeno vplesti v zgodbo, da praznično razpoloženje le še poudarijo, hkrati pa lahko služijo tudi kot odlično izhodišče za številne poglobljene pogovore z mladimi gledalci. K čarobnosti, ki s platna dobesedno sije skoraj v vsakem kadru, zelo veliko prispeva tudi zelo posrečen nabor igralcev, vse od nežne, a odločne vzgojiteljice Mojce Fatur pa do falange pokvarjenih Božičkov, ki so jim v skorajda antologijskem prizoru svoj glas in stas posodili Primož Pirnat, Lotos Vincenc Šparovec, Nina Valič, Klemen Klemen, René Štúr, Jaka Fon in Emil Cerar. Glavni zvezdi filma pa sta seveda najmlajša, Gaj Črnič kot tih, zadržan in vsega hudega vajen Erik z večno štrikano kapo na glavi ter sprva fenomenalno zoprna, nato pa prav presunljivo empatična Kaja Podreberšek kot mala Lučka. Prav njuni iskrenost in sproščenost pred kamero sta verjetno poglavitni kamenček v mozaiku te tople božične pustolovščine, v kateri se uresničijo želje, za katere otroka na začetku niti ne vesta, da jih sploh imata. Glede na vse težave slovenske filmske produkcije v preteklih letih je Kapa pravi božični čudež, več kot vreden ogleda v zatemnjeni in čarobni kinodvorani.

Največje presenečenje tokratnih županskih volitev je izvolitev Nuške Gajšek na Ptuju že v prvem krogu. Prejela je 65 odstotkov glasov. Kot je dejala, si je potiho želela zmage v prvem krogu, tako visok delež glasov pa je bil zanjo presenečenje. Presenetljiv izid je tudi v Celju, kjer Bojan Šrot po 20-ih letih ni zmagal že v prvem krogu. V drugem krogu bo njegov protikandidat Matija Kovač. Tudi v Mariboru bo drugi krog, tako kot pred štirimi leti se bosta pomerila dozdajšnji in nekdanji župan, Saša Arsenovič in Franc Kangler. V Kopru denimo je preštetih relativno malo glasov. Za zdaj kaže na zmago zdajšnjega župana Aleša Bržana. Tako tudi v Ljubljani, kjer se zmaga znova obeta Zoranu Jankoviču. To so nekateri prvi delni izidi tokratnih osmih lokalnih volitev. Že pred volitvami je bilo znano, da drugega kroga županskih ne bo v 109-ih občinah od 212-ih. Volilne komisije sicer še preštevajo glasove. Volitve je zaznamovala nizka volilna udeležba. Glede na udeležbo do 16-e ure je pričakovati, da bo več kot 40-odstotna, morda približno 45-odstotna.

I am thankful to Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook and Great Non Profits  for giving me a way to empower our 2.2 million FB fans.  People ask us all the time if they can do some sort of fundraiser for us, but there are few options that insure the money actually gets to us and the cats.  FB is launching a Fundraiser feature today whereby anyone can set up and promote a fundraiser, and the charity is picked from a list of approved ones, so that the money goes directly where it is intended.   I appreciate that Facebook also recently approved us for a Donate feature.  We used to have a Donate Now button that went to our own Salsa donate page, which is new, as of this year too, but the problem is that people don't want to leave FB for even a second.  This new Donate feature will cost us 5% (3 for cc processing and 2 to FB) but I think it will mean more donations.  We get about 100 clicks a week on the button, but I have no way to know how many drop out.  The new Donate feature can also be put on posts, so that every post can be an ask, if we want, instead of just a button at the top of our page.   I am grateful to our USDA inspectors for speaking out against cub swimming in the Dade City's Wild Things trial.  It's a 4 day trial of Kathy Sterns and her son Randy for their abuse of tiger cubs.  Two of the people who had been there and hated what they saw had contacted us years ago and we showed them how to file a complaint.  It's finally going to trial and both of them came to testify, as did Dr. Luis Navarro, Dr. Laurie Gage, Dr. Doyle, and Dr. Gaj.  In her favor Vernon Yates and their shared vet, Dr. Don Woodman came to mostly complain about me, according to Jenni James. She said the judge said that I am not the one on trial and to knock it off.   I'm also thankful that after 140 years of animal abuse, the Buenos Aires Zoo has seen the light and closed.  Their stated reason is that people are changing the way they view animals and it is time to evolve.  Another big thing to be thankful of is that Master Card, after only one day of deliberation, decided to stop promoting swim with dolphins as a reward for using their card based on public outcry caused by PeTA.   Hi, I'm Carole Baskin and I've been writing my story since I was able to write, but when the media goes to share it, they only choose the parts that fit their idea of what will generate views.  If I'm going to share my story, it should be the whole story.  The titles are the dates things happened. Grema na skajp z Ani Belina: Če boste potrpeli vi, bomo tudi mi Ani Belina je energična 90-letna prababica sedmim vnukom in stanovalka Doma Danice Vogrinec. Pred tridesetimi leti se je po smrti moža in ob upokojitvi preselila v Dom Danice Vogrinec. V enoti na Taboru živi v prvem nadstropju, njena soba, ki jo pospravlja in čisti sama, je opremljena z njenimi slikami, ki so nastale med bivanjem v domu. Ani Belina številni poznajo po tem, da zbira medijske zapise o predsedniku države Borutu Pahorju in mu jih pošlje ob koncu leta, ta pa ji na poklon odgovori. Zgovorna 90-letnica v dneh izolacije že malo pogreša bližnje, a jih lahko vidi tudi po omrežju Skype, saj so se v Domu Danice Vogrinec odločili, da tako vsaj malo nadomestijo prepoved obiskov v domu. Ani, kot želi, da jo ljudje kličejo, se vedno bolj spozna na tehniko. Pomagajo ji mladi in sin, tokrat pa ji je za stik z nami na pomoč priskočil fizioterapevt v Domu Danice Vogrinec Uroš Gajšt. V prostoru, od koder se je oglasila Ani, je vseskozi čivkala papiga Ara, da bi nas Ani bolje slišala, ji je med pogovorom zato Gajšt uredil še zvočnike. Še pred našim klicem je prelistala Večer, v katerem najprej prebere preblisk, misel na zadnji strani časopisa, potem pa vse ostalo, kar jo zanima. "Prebliski so mi zelo všeč, ker so velikokrat pozitivni. No, zdaj pa sem vesela, da je v feljtonu roman Kolesar Marka Radmiloviča," pove skrbna bralka. Zelo je vesela, da ima v domu starostnikov Večer, bala se je, da v teh dneh ne bo mogla do njega. Preden ga odpre, ga za vsak primer malo "pošprica, dezinficira", pove v šali in razumno prikima, ko ji omenimo, da časopis v tiskarni nastane brez fizičnega stika ljudi, raznašalci pa uporabljajo zaščito. Anja se je pri predstavi povezala s tradicionalnim koreografom flamenka Alejandrom Granadosom, v gibalnem delu pa je sodelovala z Jurijem Konjarjem.

O podróży opowiedziała nie tylko Asia, ale również jej córka Gaja, która podzieliła się m.in. swoimi odczuciami względem Islamu oraz tego jak w niektórych krajach reaguje się na dzieci np. dotykając je po twarzy mimo wyraźnego sprzeciwu. Posłuchacie też dialogów pomiędzy Asią i Gają i będziecie mogły „podsłuchać” jak rozmawiać z dzieckiem o menstruacji. W rozmowie pojawiło się też sporo emocji. Delavnico improvizacije na način improviziranja, ki je v GT22 potekala v okviru Jazz klinike, smo pospremili tudi s skoraj povsem improviziranim podcastom, brez vnaprej pripravljenih vprašanj in odgovorov. Pred letošnjim festivalom Jazz 'ma mlade, ki se na Židovskem trgu začenja v petek, 1. junija, smo v studio radia YoureUp povabili ekipo, ki ga že od začetka soustvarja: Petro Čeh, Vida Turico, Željka Milovanovića, Urško Gajšt in Janeza Klenovška. Predstavili so nam dogajanje, ki nas čaka tri junijske petke (1., 8. in 15.), debatirali pa smo tudi o kondiciji mlade jazzovske scene v Mariboru in Sloveniji, oživljanju Židovskega trga in ulice ter kulturno-turističnem potencialu, ki ga lahko imajo tovrstni dogodki za mesto. Jazz 'ma mlade od leta 2016 združuje ljubitelje glasbe, kulinarike in umetnosti. Mestu in širši publiki predstavlja mlade perspektivne umetnike in jim pomaga k boljši prepoznavnosti. S tem dogajanjem oživlja tudi Židovski trg, pomembno kulturno dediščino mesta Maribor. V treh petkovih večerih bo gostil mednarodne in lokalne jazz zasedbe obetavnih mladih glasbenikov, ki nas bodo popeljali v svet jazza z nepozabnimi melodijami pionirjev in ikon jazz glasbe, kakor tudi z avtorsko glasbo. Ob glasbenem programu bo v sodelovanju z okoliškimi galerijami in prizorišči: Sinagoga, Galerija Media Nox, Galerija DLUM, Fotogalerija Stolp in GT22 potekal bogat spremljevalni program z otvoritvami razstav in podaljšanim delovnim časom galerij, degustacijami slovenskih vin in lokalno ulično kulinariko, ki jo bodo posebej za festival pripravljali študenti VSGT Maribor. V GT22 bomo v tem času (1. in 8. junija ob 20.00) na IntimnemOdru zaigrali dve gledališki predstavi Via Matti/Ulica norcev in Heroj 2.1, ves čas dogajanja pa bo odprt tudi naš »ek« na Židovski ulici, kjer sta na ogled tudi dve razstavni steni Tako je govoril Huxtrl in Ulična galerija, odprte pa bodo tudi razstave v naših prostorih. Kaj Jež je postal zato, ker sta si starša želela kratko ime, Gaj in Maj pa jima nista dišala. Šele pozneje sta ugotovila, da je ime samo lahko razlog za številne, večinoma zabavne, zagate. Tako se Kaj nemalokrat znajde v situaciji, ko prijatelji v družbi uporabijo besedo ”kaj” kot vprašalnico, on pa se seveda nanjo odzove. Tudi pri predstavljanju z novimi ljudmi so zanj nerazumljivi trenutki nekaj vsakdanjega. Pogosto po tem, ko se predstavi s polnim imenom, sogovorniki odgovorijo, kaj jedo. Rad ima žival, ki jo nosi v svojem priimku. Pravzaprav si je kot otrok želel ježa, ki bi ga poimenoval Kaj. Bila bi zabaven duet – Kaj Jež in jež Kaj. Staršem je hvaležen za ime, saj je unikatno in ga je težko pozabiti.
