Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Derudover lidt groovy James Brown. Vært: Thomas Loft

In this episode of Molecule to Market, you'll go inside the outsourcing space of the global drug development sector with Yussuf Goolam, Co-Founder, President and CEO at RxSource. Your host, Raman Sehgal, discusses the pharmaceutical and biotechnology supply chain with Yussuf, covering: His family's journey from Mozambique to North America and the value of having an entrepreneurial ethos Lifelong business lessons from a window cleaning job... and the impact of going on a learning rampage The real-life grind of getting a business off the ground and always being willing to chase an opportunity The pivot that led to becoming a global partner for clinical trial supplies and not just a transactional sourcing supplier The importance of purpose, mission, values, culture and clarity in building a fiercely loyal and fulfilled workforce After co-founding RxSource in 2005, Yussuf's initial focus was developing and expanding the company's brand and client base globally. In early 2020, he assumed a new role as President and CEO and guided the organisation through a significant transformation. Since shifting the focus to clinical trial supply chain services, the company has grown to over 60 team members worldwide, supporting CROs, biotechs, and sponsors. With over 20 years of experience in the niche pharmaceutical sector, he is dedicated to building a purpose-driven company by supporting a team of high-performing individuals to achieve their personal and professional goals together. Please subscribe, tell your industry colleagues and join us in celebrating and promoting the value and importance of the global life science outsourcing space. We'd also appreciate a positive rating! Molecule to Market is sponsored and funded by ramarketing, an international marketing, design, digital and content agency helping companies differentiate, get noticed and grow in life sciences.

A complete contrast to his fierce intensity on the #footballpitch . yussuf yurary poulsen is my guest in this podcast & we talk about his 1st hero his dad in whos memory poulsen still wears an official jersey bearing his name in every game. The striking force he developed with timo werner & how he's happy for timo s success. We also speak about the influence of managers & he does say that julian nagelsmann & ralf rangnick have been abiding influences on the #club & him during their tenure at rb leipzig . yussuf is a striker who has remained loyal to rb leipzig & seen them through from the 3rd division of the bundesliga to the 1st. When I ask him about most awesome achievements in his 300 plus appearances he says it would have to be reaching the champions league semis & seeing his club move from Div 2 to 1 finally!

Often pioneering as the first generation in their families to be successful in their education and careers, the process in which it takes to break those barriers is rarely highlighted. This podcast aims to celebrate and highlight Somali excellence while shedding light on the countless success stories within our community both on a local and global scale. Focusing on inspiring the younger generation is the goal, and facilitating conversations on common issues and solutions that pertain to the Somali diaspora experience will help us stay connected as a people.Nomadic Hustle: Shedding light on our stories while engaging in conversation to enlighten our youth and inspire our community to grow."All we're trying to do is hustle and motivate"

So much happening on a Monday edition of GCR. The weather was...oppressive this weekend. Downright unpleasant. Aaron Boone wants a mercy rule in baseball...is he insane? Late in Hour 1, Big Ten Network analyst/former NFL and Illinois fullback Howard Griffith joined us to discuss his visit to College Park to see Mike Locksley and the Terps during their preseason tour. Early in Hour 2, BaltimoreRavens.com writer Clifton Brown checked in to discuss his Lamar Jackson profile and the risk involved with his running. Midway through Hour 2, Forbes' Maury Brown checked in to talk about tanking, mercy rules and why the Orioles aren't likely to relocate. And we wrapped the show by chatting with UFC fight Sodiq Yussuf who has been based in Maryland since he was 9 (after being born in Nigeria), his huge win over Gabriel Benitez at UFC 241 Saturday night and what's ahead for him in his fighting career.
What is poverty? Often young people don't have money at all like me. Save a little money for the cost of living for enjoying the life to do something you like. Go to travel sometime in a while, have dinner with your friend in the weekend and wake up in my room. I'm happy with that quality of life. I'm maybe normal. In Japan, welfare is a hot topic. Last October, the welfare was decreased. Why? Everything getting expensive. Housing, tax, and food. I talked with my friend, he used to work in a hard working company. Usually, he worked 7days in a week. Often stayed at the company's restroom. However, his salary was lower than the average. I suggested him to accuse the company. I'm sure the compa would pay for the overtime work if he asked. But he was hesitant. I think he felt bad that he resigned the job. Off course he shouldn't feel that way. But, he was beaten. Apparently, he has depression. He is thinking to get the welfare. The amount of welfare is as high as his previous annual salary in the company. He said ”It's easy to live without working. Get the money and house with no effort” I am really sorry for him. I called him many times. We talked often when he was really sad. So many people live in poverty. Here in Australia, homeless is a big issue. In an urban area like Sydney and Melbourne, young people are struggling with homelessness. According to the report from the Housing think tank Ahuri, homelessness was increasingly concentrated in the capital cities, particularly Melbourne and Sydney. Last month, 25-year-old Courtney Herron was killed in the Parkville. According to the police investigation, she has no address. She was staying at her friend's house couches. She had a drag issue. The 27-year-old Henry Richard Hammond is in charge of this murder. He was also living on the road. In Melbourne city, you can see the commission's building. That is made for the emergency place for the homeless or people live in poverty. This month, the author Ahmed Yusuf walked near Melbourne central and encountered the homeless. He is from WA. Didn't say why nor how came to Melbourne. He begged him to borrow the cellphone. Yussuf called a crisis hotline on his behalf and was told to contact Launch Housing, a service in inner Melbourne. On calling them, he was told the man was ineligible for a bed because he was already registered to receive services in WA. There is not enough housing for the homeless or people live in poverty. Australia is a great country. Accept so many immigrants and expats. This housing issue is serious and urgent. Courtney Herron's made my heart broken. She was a hopeful youth. Fallen into drag issue. The immigration is responsible to give them a living place at least. Especially, winter in Melbourne is hard. So cold. This weather killing them.
Ahmed Yussuf chats about the book Growing Up African In Australia, a collection of stories about people fitting in, displacement and finding themselves. Compiled by award-winning author Maxine Beneba Clarke, with curatorial assistance from writers Ahmed Yussuf and Magan Magan, this anthology brings together voices from the regions of Africa and the African diaspora. Ahmed Yussuf will appear the Williamstown Literary Festival this June,
Yussuf Mwanza of Guyanese parentage started his planning career in London Borough of Brent as a Junior Planning assistant studying on a day release basis to gain his professional qualifications. After moving between different Council planning departments and the Private sector he setup and founded MZA in 1997 and has never looked back. From his work in local planning authorities Yussuf Mwanza was acutely aware that certain applicants particularly those from the BAME community through no fault of their own simply did not understand the planning system, could not afford a planning agent or just framed their application incorrectly. As such he noticed that a disproportionate number of applications from the BAME community were refused and subsequent enforcement action taken. As a result of this when he started MZA Planning Yussuf made a deliberate effort to reach out to these groups. Often this included minority groups seeking to submit applications for a range of developments including changes of use, enforcement appeals, householder developments etc. From the outset, MZA has strived to work with the disenfranchised and underrepresented groups but also serves a much wider client base. Yussuf has been a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute since 1994.MZA Planning has recently been shortlisted as a Finalist in the prestigious RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence in the category of Small Planning Consultancy of the Year.Catch him live on the show

"Why is nothing happening, although you've proved that Assad attacked us with toxic gas?", Yussuf asks us via voicemail. We're also left wondering: Why is nobody doing anything? Why is the West just watching – and then turning away again? In Episode 3, in search of answers to these questions, we visit, among other places, the Spiez Laboratory in Switzerland, where samples from the 2013 poison gas attacks on Ghouta were examined. And we research the links between German companies and Syrian toxic gas. Why the international community does nothing. What other option is there but to flee. Yussuf's cousin Turki fled, to Germany. How are he and his wife experiencing the war from a distance? The fate of Yussuf's family is also our responsibility: Don't forget us! Because words alone aren't enough, we consider how else we can help.
Yussuf often plays football after school. There used to be more kids on the field, but since April 4th, several are missing. They're dead. But even more children might have died if it hadn't been for those who risked their lives for others on April 4th. Abboud is one of them. He lives near Yussuf. He's woken up by the explosion, which occurs in the early morning. Seeing the many injured lying on the street, he does all he can to carry them to one of the few available ambulances. He's particularly worried about five-year-old Warda. After all, even if she makes it to the hospital alive, she's still not safe. Four hours after the toxic gas attack, Assad's regime drops more bombs on the town. This time, on the only hospital in Khan Shaykhun. Will Warda survive?
Eight months have passed since the toxic gas attack. For Yusuff, life goes on. But nothing is as it was. Yusuff's family home has been destroyed. His family too. Every Thursday, he goes to the cemetery: the sixth-grader visits his father and 28 other relatives. After six years of war, Yusuff has grown accustomed to many things: For example, that he can only go to school when the sky is clear of fighter jets. And to the sounds of shelling and rocket fire. What's left are fear, trauma and a sense of guilt. Now, since 4 April, the war has accompanied Yussuf day and night. Many of his playmates are simply no longer there. How is the boy dealing with his grief and loss?
Episode 5: I sit down with Yussuf Manzi a fashion designer from Springfield, MA. I met Yussuf years ago when I was a teen and purchased a High Class Society t-shirt out of the trunk of his car which was first fashion venture. Since then Yussuf has grown and truly become a student of life. He is someone who takes appreciation for the small things and doesn’t ever think twice about following his heart. If you’ve ever had an idea about creating a product, trying a new hobby, or whatever it might be then give this episode a listen.
