In a pre-Budget announcement, associate education minister David Seymour said he wants to overhaul and improve the attendance services charged with getting chronically absent kids back to class. He unveiled a 140 million dollar package to get attendance numbers up over the next four years. The move follows a critical ERO report last year that said the services were under-funded and ineffective. Education correspondent John Gerritsen reports.

Esempi: Luca è stato truffato da un suo carissimo amico e ha dovuto vendere la sua attività. Le fatture di quella società erano gonfiate per frodare il fisco. 3. ILLUDERE Ingannare qualcuno facendo credere quello che non è o suscitando false speranze. Esempio: Lo aveva illuso dicendo di amarlo, ma all'improvviso è scomparsa nel nulla e lui non ha più avuto sue notizie. Adesso è completamente distrutto! 4. ABBINDOLARE Ingannare qualcuno con l'uso di menzogne o trucchi, facendolo credere a qualcosa che non è vero. Esempio: Non mi lascio mai abbindolare dagli operatori telefonici che offrono promozioni fin troppo convenienti. 5. IRRETIRE Indurre con l'inganno o con lusinghe in uno stato di soggezione. Esempio: Non farti mai irretire da riti magici che promettono miracoli! 6. ADESCARE Sedurre, attrarre con lusinghe o promesse ingannevoli. Esempio: Il giornalista è riuscito ad adescare una vicina di casa della vittima e si è fatto raccontare dettagli che nemmeno la polizia sapeva. 7. TRADIRE Ingannare la buona fede di qualcuno venendo meno all'amicizia, all'affetto, mancando alla parola data o a un dovere. Esempio: Ha tradito la sua famiglia pur di raggiungere il suo obiettivo, cioè diventare Presidente del Consiglio. Chissà se se ne pente o se invece ne va fiero. 8. GABBARE Prendere in giro. Esempio: Puoi inventare tutte le migliori scuse, ma non riuscirai mai a gabbare quel poliziotto: ne sa una più del diavolo! Questo verbo, però, è una variante molto usata in Toscana. Lo sapevi? Esempio: Le tue parole mi hanno completamente fuorviata! IMBROGLIARE Ingannare o truffare qualcuno. Esempio: Non comprare più in quel negozio: il proprietario è famoso per imbrogliare i clienti sul peso dei prodotti! 11. FREGARE Ingannare o truffare qualcuno, spesso in modo sleale. Esempio: Ci siamo fatti fregare dalla commessa! Quello stesso vestito costa la metà in qualsiasi altro negozio! 12. ELUDERE Evitare qualcosa, come una regola o un obbligo, con astuzia o inganno. Esempio: Dopo essere riusciti a eludere le telecamere di sorveglianza, i ladri hanno rubato tre quadri dal museo. Tutti si chiedono ancora come sia stato possibile. 13. COGLIERE DI SORPRESA, SPIAZZARE Ingannare con l'effetto sorpresa. The Education Minister wants to be the one taking the heat over sex education, not schools. The new draft curriculum is out for the first round of public consultation before it's written up later this year. It proposes children from Year Four learning about consent and gender stereotypes, while high schoolers learn about menstrual cycles and STIs. Erica Stanford told Mike Hosking currently, it's up to principals to go out to their community and specify what's taught. She says ERO reports found that to be very divisive, and sometimes schools and principles faced a lot of aggression from their communities over the content they taught. Esattamente il 16 aprile di cinque anni fa la suora irlandese saliva al Cielo insieme a cinque candidate del Focolare della Madre e ad altri 400 ecuadoriani. In sua memoria esce oggi, nella traduzione italiana, il libro che descrive la sua figura: "Suor Clare Crockett. Sola con il Solo". Lo ha scritto suor Kristen Gardner, trentaquattrenne di Columbus, Ohio, che per via degli anni del postulandato passati insieme è stata molto vicina a suor Clare. Suor Kristen presenterà ufficialmente il libro, rispondendo alle domande del pubblico, alle ore 20 di oggi.Raggiunta dalla Bussola a poche ora dalla presentazione di "Sola con il Solo", la suora americana ci racconta i singolari inizi, indiscutibilmente guidati da Dio in ogni dettaglio, di quella consorella morta in odore di santità. «Possiamo dire che il Signore si servì di un equivoco. All'invito di un'amica per "un viaggio gratis in Spagna", la giovane Clare Crockett rispose con un "sì" entusiasta. Della Spagna, però, cercava il sole e le spiagge, si ritrovò invece catapultata dentro un'intensa settimana di spiritualità in un antico monastero. L'aspirazione della giovane Clare in quel momento della sua vita era una sola: camminare sul tappeto rosso di Hollywood. Sognava di fare l'attrice e aveva tutti i numeri per farlo: voce, bellezza, personalità. Eppure, in quel Venerdì Santo del 2000, a 17 anni, mise da parte tutti i suoi sogni per un sogno più grande. Successe esattamente nell'attimo in cui incontrò da sola Cristo Crocifisso».PERCHÉ CONTINUI A FERIRMI?Quel passo, però, non fu semplice. Aggiunge suor Kristen: «Dopo quella forte esperienza estiva, tornata in Irlanda, Clare ricade nello stile di vita che aveva lasciato: partecipa alle riprese di un film ("Sunday", di Charles McDougall, regista di successo e autore della serie televisiva "Sex and the City", ndr) e il peccato torna a regnare nella sua anima». In una testimonianza confluita in "O tutto o niente!" - il commovente docufilm curato sempre da suor Kristen Gardner - fu la stessa suor Clare a confessarlo: «Vivevo male, in peccato mortale. Bevevo molto, iniziai a fumare droghe, continuavo a far tardi con gli amici. Ero uguale a prima, non avevo la forza di tagliare con tutto. Ovviamente non avevo questa forza solo perché non avevo chiesto aiuto al Signore». Il Signore però voleva fortissimamente il cuore di quella ragazza. Così, una notte che Clare esagerò con l'alcol, sentì Gesù che le diceva: «Perché continui a ferirmi?».Suor Kristen Gardner confessa che furono due i momenti più difficili per la suora irlandese. «È vero che l'estate successiva a quella in cui partecipò alla Settimana Santa in Spagna - racconta la biografa di suor Clare alla Bussola - entrò da postulante nella nostra casa. È vero anche, però, che il suo manager la tartassava, chiamando un giorno sì e uno no per parlarle del ruolo da protagonista che avrebbe avuto in un nuovo film. Era il 2001. Non fu semplice per Clare, ma vinse l'amore per il Signore».L'altro momento in cui suor Clare fu fortemente tentata fu l'anno prima di diventare suora. «Eravamo negli Stati Uniti, e il diavolo non poteva lasciarla in pace prima dell'appuntamento più importante», confida suor Kristen. «Leggendo attentamente i sei diari personali della nostra amata consorella, ci ha sorpreso un passaggio legato proprio a quel momento. Non sappiamo con quale modalità, ma suor Clare ricevette dal Signore queste precise parole: "Se tu non riuscirai a camminare, io ti prenderò in braccio ma tu non mi lasciare". Parole fortissime che lei ripeté in pubblico più volte e in tutta semplicità».Le missioni a cui partecipò la suora nata a Derry nel 1982 sono state molte, faticose e multiformi. Lavorò a Belmonte, in Spagna, con le sfortunate ragazze di un collegio; quindi fu spostata a Jacksonville, in Florida, dove insegnò inglese e religione ai bambini della scuola dell'"Assunzione". Nel 2010 tornerà in Spagna, questa volta a Valencia, per assistere spiritualmente i malati in fase terminale. Un apostolato difficile. «Sicuramente arduo - ribadisce suor Kristen alla Bussola -, ma suor Clare ha sempre lavorato ovunque con la stessa gioia, qualunque opera prestasse. Era una trascinatrice infaticabile. Per capirla possiamo pensare all'immagine dell'"assegno in bianco": ogni giorno offriva al Signore un assegno in bianco affinché Egli potesse chiederle tutto ciò che voleva».SOLA CON IL SOLOIl titolo del libro, «Sola con il Solo», è preso dal motto che lo spagnolo Padre Rafael Alonso, settantatreenne fondatore del Focolare della Madre, diede a Clare Crockett il giorno in cui questa emise i voti perpetui. «In realtà - racconta suor Kristen - nella scelta del motto da parte del nostro fondatore, che a quella ragazza che andava a parlargli fumando ha creduto fin dal primissimo incontro, si nasconde un doppio significato. Innanzitutto, il giorno in cui prese i voti, a differenza di quanto comunemente accade, suor Clare si trovò sola. Dovevano essere in quattro suore ma tre lasciarono il Focolare poco prima. L'altro motivo è che nel già ricordato Venerdì Santo del 2000, quando Clare, mettendosi in fila con le mani in tasca, baciò la croce, si trovò sola con il Crocifisso. "Sola con il Solo", appunto. Senza, cioè, quelle maschere che facevano di lei una persona irresistibile, perennemente "contesa" ma fondamentalmente incapace di rimanere sola davanti alla sua vita».In effetti quel faccia a faccia in solitaria per l'allora diciassettenne Clare - che a 15 anni già presentava programmi giovanili per Channel 4 (tra più importanti canali televisivi del Regno Unito) e che veniva corteggiata dall'emittente statunitense Nickelodeon - si rivelò una catarsi, il vero spartiacque della sua vita. A liturgia conclusa le cronache raccontano che la trovarono con le lacrime agli occhi: «È morto per me! Mi ama! Perché nessuno me l'ha detto prima?».Il libro nei mesi scorsi è già uscito in inglese e spagnolo. «Ci sono arrivate moltissime mail - spiega al nostro giornale suor Kristen - e la cosa che colpisce è che i messaggi arrivano da tutte le fasce d'età: i ragazzi sono affascinati dalla prima parte della sua vita, dal salto enorme fatto da suor Clare, dal suo stile da "O tutto o niente!"; le altre persone, invece, sono impressionate dalla profondità e maturità spirituale che dimostrò dopo. La giovane nordirlandese, appartenente alle Serve del Focolare della Madre e vittima del tremendo terremoto che colpì l'Ecuador il 16 aprile di nove anni fa, gode perciò adesso del titolo di serva di Dio.A presiedere la cerimonia il vescovo Antonio Prieto Lucena, alla cui diocesi è stata concessa la competenza sulla causa, dopo il benestare dell'arcidiocesi ecuadoregna di Portoviejo (sul cui territorio è avvenuta la morte della religiosa) e del Dicastero per le Cause dei Santi. Come ha spiegato il vescovo di Alcalá, il tribunale eletto per studiare la causa a livello diocesano avrà adesso il compito di «indagare approfonditamente la vita, le virtù, la fama di santità e le grazie e i favori ricevuti per intercessione di suor Clare, per provare l'eroicità delle sue virtù».Se le virtù eroiche saranno provate, suor Clare potrà essere proclamata venerabile, passo che precede l'eventuale beatificazione (per la quale servirà poi il riconoscimento di un miracolo per sua intercessione) e canonizzazione (per la quale è richiesto, in via ordinaria, un secondo miracolo). Queste, in breve, le tappe fondamentali prima che suor Chiara Maria della Trinità e del Cuore di Maria - secondo il suo nome in religione completo e italianizzato - possa essere dichiarata santa.In attesa che la Chiesa cattolica studi la causa con la dovuta prudenza, la fama di santità di suor Clare è già diffusa in mezzo mondo. E dalle testimonianze emerge come Gesù stia continuando a servirsi di questa sua sposa come uno strumento prediletto del suo piano di salvezza. «La sua gioia traboccante ha condotto molte anime, soprattutto di giovani, a scoprire che la vera felicità si trova unicamente in Dio.

#359 - Thai CheeseburgerL'altro giorno sono andato a mangiare in un piccolo ristorantino locale, sull'isola di Yao Noi.Avevano un atmosfera fuori dal comune, con una elegante musica jazz di sottofondo e lo spazio per pochissimi tavolini.Ho guardato il menu, che era lì sul tavolo, e per cambiare un po' da ciò che mangio abitualmente, ho scelto di spararmi un bel cheeseburger.La foto che accompagnava la sua disponibilità sul tavolo, era particolarmente succulenta e avevo già l'acquolina in bocca al pensiero di assaporarlo.Ordine eseguito, 5-10 minuti e arriva quello che sembra essere un hamburger classico, ma… con qualcosa in meno.Nooooo….Avevo in mano un cheeseburger senza burger dentro.Ero così incazzato che non sapevo più che fare.Quindi, ho fatto un bel respiro profondo e ho detto: riguardiamo il menu, vediamo bene che cosa è che ho ordinato. Non fosse mai che ordinato pensando di ordinare un qualcosa mentre in realtà ho ordinato qualcosaltro?Ho preso il menu in mano e ho guardato bene, quello che c'era scritto.Non potevo credere ai miei occhi.In pratica sul menu c'era scritto chiaro e tondo. Cheeseburger contiene tutto, incluso il cheese, ma non il burger. Il cheeseburger, è un burger dove il burger è il cheese.Mai vista una cosa così.Adesso, ho voluto fare anche una verifica cercando su Google per cheeseburger in Thailandia, e se guardi anche tu le foto che appaiono, ti rendi conto che quello che è un cheeseburger per te è tutt'altra cosa da questo lato del pianeta. Morale della favola:Quello che tu etichetti in un modo, può avere tutt'altro significato per chi viene da un altro paese, cultura o lingua. Quindi quando chiedi qualcosa a persone che non conosci o sei in un posto lontano da casa, chiedi sempre descrivendolo ciò che desideri, invece di pensare che ciò che dici e richiedi sia universalmente riconosciuto.Scegliere guardando solo la superficie delle cose, ciò che appare e sembra, spesso può portare a grandi delusioni. Ciò che è necessario fare è sempre guardare oltre le apparenze, le sembianze, specialmente di ciò che luccica, perché anche in natura, ciò che luccica è spesso generato per attirare e catturare le prede. Dare tutto di sé e darlo subito, per offrire la vita intera a Dio. Un amore folle e radicale: "A Dio tutto, o niente!". Questa, in poche battute, era suor Clare Crockett.È chiaro, allora, che non fu il caso a volere che questa giovane Serva del Focolare della Madre rimanesse l'unica a morire sotto le macerie del tragico terremoto del 2016 a Playa Prieta. Tra tutte le sorelle del convento missionario in Ecuador, fu scelta solo lei. "Sola con il Solo": misteriosamente, si realizzava il motto di vita stabilito proprio nel giorno della sua consacrazione e ancor più si avverava quell'insondabile piano d'Amore che lei stessa aveva profetato: "Morirò giovane, a 33 anni, come Gesù".NASCERE E RINASCERE NELLO SPIRITOClare Crockett vede la luce il 14 novembre 1982 a Derry, in una famiglia dell'Irlanda del Nord duramente segnata dalle feroci lotte tra cattolici e protestanti. Lei stessa però dirà che la sua vera nascita avverrà solamente l'11 agosto 2001, data in cui la giovane fanciulla fa il suo ingresso nelle Serve del Focolare della Madre come postulante. Sarà questa, infatti, per Clare l'occasione di una vera e propria rinascita nello Spirito Santo che, corteggiandola come il più appassionato tra gli amanti, la conquisterà completamente.Ma la strada che condusse Clare alla "vita nuova" fu tutt'altro che spianata. Per comprendere su quale terreno cominciò ad arare l'agricoltore e quanti rami ebbe a potare il vignaiolo, basti sapere che, quando Clare annunciò a parenti e amici il suo ingresso in convento, venne accolta con una fragorosa e corale risata. Gli stessi familiari erano convinti si trattasse di uno dei suoi colpi di testa che sarebbe durato pochi giorni, al massimo qualche settimana.Del resto, quella ragazzina a dir poco esuberante era nota a tutti come la futura stella di Hollywood per via del suo straordinario talento per la recitazione. Dotata di un agente dello spettacolo sin da piccolissima, Clare aveva conquistato da subito ruoli da protagonista sul piccolo schermo e alcune pellicole al cinema. Genitori, professori, amici... tutti quanti la spingevano in questa direzione, essendo convinti che un giorno sarebbe arrivata molto lontano. Quanto al rapporto con la fede, invece, non si poteva certamente festeggiare lo stesso successo. Clare, di famiglia cattolica più per etichetta che per sostanza, aveva ricevuto i sacramenti durante l'infanzia, ma ben presto, ai locali della parrocchia, aveva preferito quelli notturni che l'avevano eccitata ai piaceri del mondo. Alcol, droga e sesso erano diventati per Clare regola e dipendenza, complice l'ambiente dello spettacolo che l'aveva stretta, ancora piccola, tra le tenaglie del peccato. Eppure, nessuno poteva immaginare che la "follia" di quella ragazzina, che la spingeva a divorare sempre più vita, fosse in verità il sigillo messo da Gesù sul cuore della sua promessa sposa e che Dio stesso sarebbe stato pronto a tutto pur di portare a termine il suo piano d'Amore su quella vittima da Lui prescelta.LA "TRAPPOLA" DELLA VERGINE MARIA«Un giorno - racconta Clare durante una testimonianza - la mia amica, Sharon Dougherty, mi chiamò e mi disse: "Clare, vuoi andare in Spagna? È tutto pagato". "Un viaggio gratis in Spagna! - pensai - Dieci giorni di festa in Spagna con il sole". "Certo che ci vado!". Io, sinceramente, pensavo che saremmo andate su un'isola turistica come Ibiza. Chi avrebbe potuto immaginare che invece fosse tutta una mossa della Vergine Maria per riportarmi a casa, nel Suo Focolare, in quello di Suo Figlio?».Spiegarono a Clare che tutti quelli che volevano andare in Spagna si sarebbero dovuti presentare in una certa casa per ritirare il biglietto aereo. «Quando entrai nella casa - continua Clare - trovai un gruppo di 30-35 persone mature che recitavano il Rosario. Subito chiedo: "Voi andrete in Spagna?", "Sì", mi risposero con entusiasmo "ad un pellegrinaggio!"». Ovviamente Clare non ha la minima intenzione di partecipare a un ritiro spirituale, ma l'amica insiste: ormai il biglietto aereo è pagato, perciò non ci si può più tirare indietro.«Così arrivai in Spagna presso il monastero del Focolare della Madre, da sola e senza nessuna voglia di fare un pellegrinaggio». Era la Settimana Santa, ma Clare logicamente non lo sapeva e nemmeno poteva sospettare di dover partecipare per cinque giorni e con molto raccoglimento alla Passione, morte e Risurrezione del Signore.L'IRRESISTIBILE SPOSO CROCIFISSOÈ Venerdì Santo e qualcuno del gruppo dice a Clare che, in quel giorno, non avrebbe potuto star fuori dalla chiesa a fumare sigarette come sempre accadeva. La giovane, perciò, quasi costretta, si unisce alla Celebrazione liturgica della Passione e morte del Signore e col solito atteggiamento strafottente - come racconta lei stessa - sceglie subito di sedersi nei banchi più in fondo. Quando però arriva il momento in cui tutti si mettono in fila per l'Adorazione della Croce, Clare d'impeto li segue.«Quando toccò a me baciare la croce non mi ricordo se mi inginocchiai o se feci la genuflessione, mi ricordo solo che baciai il chiodo che era sui piedi di Gesù e sentii come uno schiaffo sul cuore. In un istante ricevetti la grazia di vedere come Egli, Dio, era morto per me sulla croce, per i miei peccati, per le mie vanità, per le mie infedeltà, per la mia impurezza... Compresi e vidi d'un tratto che io avevo inchiodato il Signore alla croce e che l'unico modo in cui io potevo consolarLo era con la mia vita. Ormai non valeva raccontare barzellette, né fare una bella rappresentazione teatrale: nulla, nulla di ciò che io potevo fare era in grado di consolare Gesù, se non dandoGli tutta la mia vita! Compresi questo in un lampo, senza avere alcuna formazione religiosa: ero pazza, andavo in discoteca, pensavo di andare a Ibiza e in quel momento, nel baciare la Croce, il Signore mi fece cadere completamente da cavallo. (...) Ebbi la certezza che il Signore era sulla croce per me e, assieme a questa convinzione, sentii un vivo dolore. Tornando al banco, iniziai a piangere, e a piangere, e a piangere... non potevo smettere. Dio mi aveva mostrato con chiarezza che era morto per me e che io dovevo dargli qualcosa, e quel qualcosa non era semplicemente un'Ave Maria, una messa o un impegno piccolo, ma era la mia vita!».PERCHE' MI CONTINUI A FERIRE?Nonostante le enormi grazie ricevute durante il pellegrinaggio, Clare torna a casa e precipita di nuovo nelle seduzioni del mondo. Sente con chiarezza di avere ricevuto la chiamata di Dio, ma non riesce in alcun modo ad abbandonare la vecchia vita. «"Non posso diventare suora! Non posso smettere di bere, di fumare, di andare a divertirmi e non posso rinunciare alla mia carriera, alla mia famiglia..." Mi ripetevo queste cose, tuttavia non riuscivo a fare tutto questo semplicemente perché non avevo ancora chiesto a Gesù il Suo aiuto».Non appena Clare si mette in ginocchio, il Signore corre in suo soccorso dandole la certezza che, se Egli le stava chiedendo qualcosa, certamente le stava anche donando la grazia e la forza per viverlo.E infatti, una notte accade qualcosa che cambierà l'esistenza di Clare per sempre: «Ero nel bagno di una discoteca, ero completamente ubriaca e stavo per vomitare, fu in quel momento che sentii con forza lo sguardo del Signore. Era così forte questo sguardo! E subito sentii dentro di me il Signore che mi diceva: "Perché Mi continui a ferire?". Sapevo che il Signore era lì e mi stava guardando. Sentire lo sguardo del Signore è qualcosa che ti lacera. Vidi che di nuovo stavo inchiodando il Signore alla croce con i miei peccati, con le mie ubriachezze. Io sentii che il mio modo di vivere e la mia mancanza di risposta a ciò che il Signore mi stava chiedendo facevano molto male a me stessa e anche a Dio».Fu questo il momento decisivo in cui Clare comprende che l'Amore di Gesù l'ha vinta per sempre: «Capii in quell'istante che dovevo lasciare tutto e seguirlo. Io sapevo che il Signore mi stava chiamando ad essere Sua nelle Serve del Focolare della Madre, a dargli la mia vita affinché altri Lo potessero conoscere. Sapevo con grande chiarezza che mi chiedeva di confidare in Lui, di porre la mia vita nelle Sue mani e di avere fede». E così accade: Clare, l'11 agosto 2001, giorno di santa Chiara D'Assisi, entra in monastero; e l'11 febbraio 2006 fa i suoi primi voti scegliendo il nome religioso di suor Clare Maria della Trinità e del Cuore di Maria. L'8 settembre 2010 emette i suoi voti perpetui.SERVIRE, FINO A CADERE A TERRA SFINITIDal momento della professione solenne, in un potente crescendo di intensità, inizia per Clare una corsa pazza verso il Signore. Nei cinque anni da professa, viene inviata in numerose comunità delle Serve: a Belmonte (Cuenca, Spagna), a Jacksonville (Florida, Stati Uniti), a Valencia (Spagna), a Guayaquil (Ecuador) e a Playa Prieta (Manabí, Ecuador). Di luogo in luogo, la Serva lascia dietro di sé la scia del suo bruciante amore per il Signore, che non smette di crescere e che si manifestava in un'instancabile e impressionante carità verso il prossimo.Un esempio ne spiega bene la portata. BEST OF TST: The Kansas City Chiefs victory parade turned deadly and injurious to dozens of people on Valentine's Day, marking not only a shocking tragedy but a truly bloody Valentine. Strangely enough, the odd series of number patterns that appeared during Super Bowl weekend, were also present in reports of the shooting. Headline after headline reported different totals of victims - those injured, those killed, children, those being treated at hospitals - all in a manner where the numbers added to 22 and 25, the score of the big game, or to 13 or 33. These numbers appear in the inconsistent reports about the parade shooting: NBC News reported at 9:44am Thursday 15th, 23 injured and 2 taken into custody = 25. At 10:17am Yahoo reported 22 injured and 3 taken into custody = 25. An early article reported before arrests were announced that 22 were injured. The 3 arrested were out of a group of 10 questioned = 13, and 10-3 was the Halftime score of the Super Bowl. Such number synchronicity may not be a conspiracy, but instead a result of some influential force acting behind the scenes of human affairs - what Helena Blavatsky called the Secret Chiefs. The word ‘Chief' is also used in the ancient Jewish text called Talmud, where such a titled referred to anyone who stood against Israel, particularly the goyim, and how they should be killed. Tract 57a of the Talmud says their “ashes are gathered” and scattered, another odd link to Ash Wednesday.Maybe Joe Buck of ESPN, veteran play-by-play voice for "Monday Night Football," was on to something when he said this of the Super Bowl: "There's going to be some story. There's going to be something that happens because it's Vegas, and it won't stay in Vegas. It's going to be a big something that happens. I don't know what it is. I have no idea. I just think that is going to be a mess in my mind." Statement made by the KC Chiefs - calling the shooting “senseless violence” - and the KC Police Chief - “people who came to this celebration should expect a safe environment” - suggest we dismiss the motivations behind these events and further live in a fantasy where no violence ever occurs: remember when a homemade gun as used to kill former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe? The shootings took place in front of 800 officers, too, and it took a few bystanders to tackle a shooter despite laws against such gun violence. California's governor immediately vomited: “We need to pass a Constitutional Amendment to prevent gun violence nationwide.” The irony here is that the 2nd Amendment gave those bystanders the right to tackle one of the shooters. It's not the first shooting at a championship parade either, as others occurred in the wake of NBA and MLB celebrations as well. If violence of this sort of is planned by those other than ‘crazies', it would make far more sense to carry it out in the parade rather than the event itself since doing so would be too costly for the leagues, advertisers, etc. On our Super Bowl show, we discussed the ER in “super” and the “o” in Bowl and Champions being a different font than the rest of the letters. In Hebrew the strange E was two of the letters BET adding to 22, while the strange R was comprised of VAV and QOPH for a total 25. This was the score of the game. ERO is also the name of the god of love and passion we call cupid, who carries a bow and arrow (ero) - pronunciation reminds us of Arrowhead Stadium and the KC Chiefs logo. ERO is the quintessential Secret Chief, influencing our love from behind the scenes. Oddly, Valentine's Day was only 3 days after the Super Bowl. TESTO DELL'ARTICOLO ➜ https://www.bastabugie.it/it/articoli.php?id=8056LA CLAMOROSA CONVERSIONE DI RATISBONNE di Roberto de Mattei Tutti conoscono i santuari mariani di Loreto e Pompei e, a Roma, le grandi basiliche, ma non tutti sanno che nel cuore della città eterna esiste una piccola basilica parrocchiale, Sant'Andrea delle Fratte, conosciuta anche con il nome di Santuario della Madonna del Miracolo. Qui, infatti, il 20 gennaio del 1842 la Madonna apparve all'ebreo Alfonso Ratisbonne e lo convertì istantaneamente. Una lapide posta in uno dei pilastri della cappella dell'apparizione, così ricorda l'avvenimento: "Il 20 gennaio 1842, Alfonso Ratisbonne, venne qui ebreo indurito. La Vergine gli apparve come tu la vedi. Cadde ebreo si rialzò cristiano. Straniero: porta con te questo prezioso ricordo della misericordia di Dio e del potere della SS. Vergine".Alfonso Ratisbonne, nato a Strasburgo nel 1814 da una famiglia di ricchi banchieri ebrei, per migliorare il suo malfermo stato di salute aveva deciso di intraprendere un lungo viaggio che dalla Francia, avrebbe dovuto condurlo a Costantinopoli. Capitò a Roma, per un breve soggiorno il giorno dell'Epifania del 1842. Tra le persone che incontrò fu un amico, che, nel corso di un'animata discussione religiosa, lo sfidò a portare una medaglia con l'effigie dell'Immacolata, come era apparsa quattro anni prima a santa Caterina Labouré a rue du Bac e a recitare il Memorare o piissima Virgo Maria, l'antica preghiera mariana tradizionalmente attribuita a san Bernardo.Ratisbonne, per mostrare la sua superiorità sulle "superstizioni" cattoliche, accettò ridendo la sfida e cinse al collo la medaglietta detta miracolosa. Ma il gruppo di amici cattolici che aveva a Roma pregava per la sua conversione. Un imprevisto aveva intanto costretto Ratisbonne a rinviare la sua partenza da Roma. Si giunse così al 20 gennaio 1842.DA EBREO A SACERDOTE CATTOLICORatisbonne, si trovò a passare davanti alla chiesa di Sant'Andrea delle Fratte, situata tra la Fontana di Trevi e piazza di Spagna, quando sentì un impulso ad entrare nella chiesa, dove si preparava il funerale per uno degli amici che pregava per lui, il conte francese de La Feronnays, morto improvvisamente il 17 gennaio: "Se in quell'istante (era mezzogiorno) un terzo interlocutore mi si fosse avvicinato, e mi avesse detto: "Alfonso, fra un quarto d'ora adorerai Gesù Cristo, tuo Dio e tuo Salvatore, sarai prosternato in una povera chiesa, ti batterai il petto dinanzi a un sacerdote, in un convento di Gesuiti dove trascorrerai il carnevale per prepararti al battesimo, pronto ad immolarti per la fede cattolica; e rinuncerai al mondo, alle sue pompe, ai suoi piaceri, alla tua fortuna, alle tue speranze, al tuo avvenire;... e non aspirerai più che a seguire Gesù Cristo e a portare la sua croce fino alla morte!...". Dico che se qualche profeta mi avesse fatto una predizione simile, avrei giudicato solo un uomo più insensato di lui: l'uomo che avesse creduto possibile una simile follia! Eppure, è proprio questa follia che costituisce oggi la mia sapienza e la mia felicità".Fu infatti quello che accadde. "La chiesa di Sant'Andrea - ricorda Ratisbonne - è piccola, povera e deserta. Camminavo, meccanicamente, con lo sguardo in giro, senza soffermarmi su nessun pensiero; mi ricordo soltanto di un cane nero che saltellava e balzava dinanzi a me... Non appena scomparso il cane, la chiesa intera disparve, non vidi più nulla... o piuttosto, Dio mio, vidi una sola cosa! Come potrei parlarne? Oh! no, la parola umana non deve tentare d'esprimere l'inesprimibile; ogni descrizione, per quanto sublime possa essere, non sarebbe che una profanazione dell'ineffabile verità. Ero là, prosternato, bagnato nelle mie lacrime, col cuore fuori di me stesso. Non sapevo dove mi trovavo; non sapevo se ero Alfonso o un altro; sentivo un così totale mutamento, che mi credevo un altro me stesso... La gioia più ardente si sprigionava dal fondo della mia anima; sentivo in me qualcosa di solenne e di sacro che mi fece chiamare un sacerdote... Vi fui condotto, e solo dopo avuto l'ordine positivo ne parlai, per quanto mi era possibile, in ginocchio e col cuore tremante."Tutto ciò che posso dire è che al momento del fatto la benda mi cadde dagli occhi; non una sola, ma tutta la moltitudine di bende che mi avevano avvolto, scomparvero una dopo l'altra rapidamente, come la neve e il fango e il ghiaccio sotto l'azione di un sole cocente. Uscivo da una tomba, da un abisso di tenebre, ed ero vivo, perfettamente vivo... Ma piangevo! Vedevo nel fondo dell'abisso le miserie estreme dalle quali ero stato strappato da una misericordia infinita; rabbrividivo alla vista di tutte le mie iniquità, ed ero stupito, intenerito, sprofondato in ammirazione e riconoscenza... Oh! quanti discendono tranquillamente in questo abisso con gli occhi chiusi dall'orgoglio o dalla spensieratezza! Vi discendono, s'inabissano vivi nelle orribili tenebre!""Non posso spiegare questo cambiamento che con l'immagine di un uomo il quale si risvegliasse da un sonno profondo, o con quella di un cieco nato che vedesse la luce tutto d'un colpo; vede, ma non può definire la luce che lo illumina e nella quale contempla gli oggetti della sua ammirazione".LA VERIFICA DEL PAPAQuando la notizia si diffuse a Roma il Papa Gregorio XVI fece svolgere un'accurata inchiesta che confermò il fatto miracoloso. Alfonso Maria Ratisbonne fu battezzato il 31 gennaio 1842 nella chiesa del Gesù, divenne sacerdote e volle dedicare la propria vita all'apostolato tra gli ebrei.A Rue du Bac, a La Salette, a Lourdes, a Fátima, la Madonna scelse anime innocenti per trasmettere i suoi messaggi al mondo. A Roma la Beata Vergine Maria apparve a un peccatore, che sembra rappresentare nella sua persona il mondo moderno, incredulo e ostinato nei suoi errori. La conversione di Ratisbonne fu perfetta e istantanea come quella di san Paolo, ma la Madonna volle che fosse accompagnata da piccoli gesti: l'accettazione della Medaglia miracolosa, la recita del Memorare, le preghiere insistenti degli amici.Nulla è impossibile alla Madonna, regale dispensatrice di grazie, quando essa è invocata da cuori ardenti e devoti. Preghiamo dunque la Regina del Cielo e della terra, affinché voglia manifestare ancora la sua potenza e la sua misericordia. Clara Tourres ha 33 anni ed è nata e cresciuta in Francia, in una famiglia di origine spagnola. Da sette anni vive a Napoli, dove lavora come giurista in un'azienda. Fin da quando è adolescente, impara che i soldi si guadagnano con il sacrificio, e così, appena 16enne, inizia a lavorare e non smette più: fa la babysitter, l'hostess, la barista. Mette assieme 1000 euro al mese e nel frattempo, studia Legge. Da sacrificio, i soldi iniziano a significare possibilità, e Clara matura un'importante fiducia sulla sua possibilità di guadagnare e stare al mondo.  All'ultimo anno di università, parte per l'Erasmus a Roma. E qui ha una sorta di epifania circa il luogo in cui vivere: dopo la laurea, infatti, le piacerebbe restare in Italia. Tuttavia, le difficoltà italiane nell'inserimento lavorativo, la costringono a ritornare in Francia, a Parigi, dove  inizia a lavorare come giornalista. Un volta terminato il contratto a tempo determinato, gliene propongono uno a tempo indeterminato. Ma nel frattempo, una sua amica francese che lavora a Napoli, le offre il suo posto in un'associazione che opera nel terzo settore. Lei accetta senza pensarci troppo. Lì guadagna 715 euro al mese e pensa di non aver bisogno di molto di più: «Ero convinta che non avevo bisogno di soldi perché ero una persona che viveva di esperienze, non di cose fisiche». Tre anni dopo, però, Clara la pensa molto diversamente. Si è ormai resa conto che in quell'associazione non avrebbe avuto un aumento ed è andata a lavorare in un'altra, più piccola, dove le cose vanno ancora peggio e per sette mesi non riceve stipendio. Ad aiutarla nel navigare questi mesi difficili c'è il gruzzoletto che aveva messo da parte negli anni. Ma c'è anche un percorso di yoga e meditazione, che sarà fondamentale nella sua storia, perché la aiuterà a darsi il giusto valore.  E infatti, a gennaio 2020, con la pandemia alle porte, Clara riceve un'offerta di lavoro da un'azienda come giurista. E, complice il lavoro fatto sui suoi pensieri, fa una cosa totalmente inaspettata: affronta la sua prima richiesta di aumento salariale. Dai 1.250 euro che le offrono, Clara riesce ad arrivare a 1.600. Arrivata a questo punto del suo percorso, si rende conto di quanto il suo “disinteresse” per i soldi l'avesse portata a doversene preoccupare ancora di più. «Non è detto che, semplicemente perché stai facendo, ce la farai per forza, perché ci sono circostanze esterne che possono essere molto sfidanti e difficili».

Come esponente del mondo scientifico ero bersaglio predestinato e infatti mi invitò a casa sua per farmi assistere ai suoi «esperimenti». Per mia fortuna avevo appena letto un articolo su «Le Scienze» in cui si dettagliavano gli «outs» o «forzature», strumento base nei giochi di carte. La forzatura è in effetti una finta scelta che nasconde quella occulta del mago. Ero quindi all'erta, accettai l'invito e mi trovai seduto attorno a un tavolo con altri ospiti sotto lo sguardo magnetico del Mago. Rol tirò fuori da un cassetto un mazzo di carte, lo passò agli ospiti, ingiunse loro di rimescolarlo al suono di una favolosa loquela. Alla fine il mazzo fu diviso in due e il Mago chiese all'ultimo ospite di scegliere uno dei due mazzi. Appena fu effettuata la scelta il Mago disse «allora lo scartiamo». Poteva anche dire «allora lo teniamo ». Lui sapeva ovviamente, da indizi solo a lui visibili, da quale parte stava la carta prescelta: il mazzo era ovviamente truccato e la scelta operata dall'ospite era fittizia. Alla fine saltò fuori la carta prescelta. Feci notare al mago che doveva dire prima se intendeva scegliere o scartare il mazzo prescelto. Subito cominciò a lamentarsi di un'«aura negativa» emanata dal sottoscritto. Mi diverte l'arte dei grandi illusionisti e li ammiro purché si dichiarino tali e non tentino di prendere in giro dei poveracci. L'uso fraudolento dell'arte magica, ampiamente documentato nel libro di Silvano Fuso, è purtroppo diffusamente impiegato per ingannare la povera gente. Occorre anche prestare attenzione ai cosiddetti miracoli religiosi di cui si occupa in dettaglio lo stesso Fuso e che appartengono alla storia di tutte le religioni. MCALLEN, Texas - The new 125-acre McAllen South Industrial Park is not yet finished but already the owners have sold lots to companies from abroad. The park, with a buildable area of about 1.8 million square feet, is being going up off Military Highway between 10th and 23rd streets in south McAllen. “Already, we've got an Asian firm that is purchasing property. We've got a Mexican firm that's purchasing property,” said Michael Fallek, in an exclusive interview with the Rio Grande Guardian International News Service. The Guardian interviewed Fallek at the end of a groundbreaking ceremony. From the podium, Fallek thanked several partners, giving special praise to McAllen Economic Development Corporation. “MEDC has been instrumental in connecting us with potential users, buyers, interested parties. They have absolutely been a big part of what we've been doing here,” Fallek said. He also thanked the McAllen city leadership, the McAllen Chamber of Commerce, Brandon Wallace of Alamo System Industries (ASI), and Octavio Cantu and Brian Godinez of ERO Architects. “Brandon's team is out here doing all the all the dirt work and installing the utilities. ERO have done a lot of work on the master plan,” Fallek said. Fallek said everyone is aware of the shortage of industrial warehouse space, logistics space, and manufacturing space in the city of McAllen. “Thankfully, we're here. We're going to be building a number of facilities. You'll see that there is up to about 1.8 million square feet of buildable area that we can put in the park,” Fallek said. “It's very large. We're very excited about everything that's going to go in here.” Fallek said it is hard to overestimate the importance of what manufacturing and warehousing can do for the city of McAllen and the Rio Grande Valley. “This is going to be a real difference maker for the city and for the region, with up to 1.5 to 1.8 million square feet in the park. This project will mean hundreds of millions of dollars in economic activity for the region. There will be hundreds of new jobs created. There will be new industries that will locate here in the park. It's going to make an enormous difference to the opportunities present here in McAllen and the Valley. More schools are dropping NCEA Level 1. An Education Review Office review has found it's not a fair or reliable measure of knowledge and skills, and needs substantial change. Less than three-quarters of schools plan to offer NCEA Level 1 next year. ERO's Ruth Shinoda told Mike Hosking that in more affluent communities, it's less than half. She says three quarters of school leaders say the credits students receive don't reflect an equal amount of work or degree of difficulty. The minister in charge of curbing truancy is concerned students are "missing out on valuable learning time" by joining a march to parliament in protest at his controverisal Treaty Principles Bill. Hīkoi mō te Tiriti set off from Cape Reinga on Monday and moved through Auckland today, with thousands marching over the Harbour Bridge and onto Bastion point. Along the way hundreds of school aged children have joined the march, some in their uniforms, during school hours. Several schools are marking it as a 'justifed absence' and say students are being educated in voicing their opinions. Last month it was revealed a staggering 80,000 students were MIA for more than three weeks of term two this year, with ERO saying it's a crisis. Today, Associate Education Minister David Seymour has also warned teachers about maintaining political neutrality. President of the Secondary Principals Association Vaughan Couillault spoke to Lisa Owen.

The Education Review Office says there's a chronic absence crisis. This Term 2, one in ten students were chronically absent. Chronic absence has doubled in secondary schools since 2015, and almost tripling in primary schools. By age 20, chronically absent students can cost the state three times more than a student who went to school. ERO Ruth Shinoda told Mike Hosking the education they're missing out on damages their life chances. She says less than half get NCEA level two, and by age 25 almost half are receiving a benefit rather than working. Shinoda told Hosking the contributing factors are long-standing. She says half of schools don't refer to attendance services because they're often not effective as they're overwhelmed, with some having 500 students to one worker. A recent report from the education review office (ERO) and the New Zealand Medical Journal (NZMJ) has found that early childhood teachers are seeing more children than ever with poor language skills. This, in part due to Covid-19 and increasingly prevalent screen and device usage. Low language and speaking skills can have further implications down the line as children become older, this is quite jarring as New Zealand is a first world country with high access to healthcare and childcare. Sasha spoke to professional research fellow in the department of General Practice and Primary Care, Samantha Marsh, about the implications of early childhood screen use and impacts of Covid-19 on children.

A recent report by the Education Review Office painted a grim picture of student behaviour - saying violent and disruptive behaviour in schools has reached critical levels. Half the teachers surveyed said the problem has become worse in the past two years, and half say they are spending nearly an hour a day dealing with bad behaviour. The Education Review Office says the trend is harming children's learning, and schools need to take a nationally consistent approach to addressing it. The approach it favours is called PB4L, which stands for Positive Behavior for Learning. But a group of teachers in Porirua East who work with students with high levels of dysregulated behaviour say ERO is promoting ineffective, outdated practices. They say teachers need to understand the neuroscience that underpins behavior and stress, and its programme 'Hauora' is working. The Kansas City Chiefs victory parade turned deadly and injurious to dozens of people on Valentine's Day, marking not only a shocking tragedy but a truly bloody Valentine. Strangely enough, the odd series of number patterns that appeared during Super Bowl weekend, were also present in reports of the shooting. Headline after headline reported different totals of victims - those injured, those killed, children, those being treated at hospitals - all in a manner where the numbers added to 22 and 25, the score of the big game, or to 13 or 33. These numbers appear in the inconsistent reports about the parade shooting: NBC News reported at 9:44am Thursday 15th, 23 injured and 2 taken into custody = 25. At 10:17am Yahoo reported 22 injured and 3 taken into custody = 25. An early article reported before arrests were announced that 22 were injured. The 3 arrested were out of a group of 10 questioned = 13, and 10-3 was the Halftime score of the Super Bowl. Such number synchronicity may not be a conspiracy, but instead a result of some influential force acting behind the scenes of human affairs - what Helena Blavatsky called the Secret Chiefs. The word ‘Chief' is also used in the ancient Jewish text called Talmud, where such a titled referred to anyone who stood against Israel, particularly the goyim, and how they should be killed. Tract 57a of the Talmud says their “ashes are gathered” and scattered, another odd link to Ash Wednesday. Maybe Joe Buck of ESPN, veteran play-by-play voice for "Monday Night Football," was on to something when he said this of the Super Bowl: "There's going to be some story. There's going to be something that happens because it's Vegas, and it won't stay in Vegas. It's going to be a big something that happens. I don't know what it is. I have no idea. I just think that is going to be a mess in my mind." Statement made by the KC Chiefs - calling the shooting “senseless violence” - and the KC Police Chief - “people who came to this celebration should expect a safe environment” - suggest we dismiss the motivations behind these events and further live in a fantasy where no violence ever occurs: remember when a homemade gun as used to kill former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe? The shootings took place in front of 800 officers, too, and it took a few bystanders to tackle a shooter despite laws against such gun violence. California's governor immediately vomited: “We need to pass a Constitutional Amendment to prevent gun violence nationwide.” The irony here is that the 2nd Amendment gave those bystanders the right to tackle one of the shooters. It's not the first shooting at a championship parade either, as others occurred in the wake of NBA and MLB celebrations as well. If violence of this sort of is planned by those other than ‘crazies', it would make far more sense to carry it out in the parade rather than the event itself since doing so would be too costly for the leagues, advertisers, etc. On our Super Bowl show, we discussed the ER in “super” and the “o” in Bowl and Champions being a different font than the rest of the letters. In Hebrew the strange E was two of the letters BET adding to 22, while the strange R was comprised of VAV and QOPH for a total 25. This was the score of the game. ERO is also the name of the god of love and passion we call cupid, who carries a bow and arrow (ero) - pronunciation reminds us of Arrowhead Stadium and the KC Chiefs logo. ERO is the quintessential Secret Chief, influencing our love from behind the scenes. Oddly, Valentine's Day was only 3 days after the Super Bowl. Ikponwosa Ero visits the University of Washington to discuss: “Human Rights in Practice: An overview of the journey to protect people with albinism in Africa and globally” Ero was born in Nigeria and migrated to Canada in her teens. She's classified as a non-white female with albinism - a genetic defect which manifests as a person lacking melanin, skin pigmentation. "Ms. Ero is a lawyer by training and the first United Nations Independent Expert on the enjoyment of human rights by persons with albinism. Her experiences and impact span across multiple continents over more than a decade of policy research and advocacy, having worked with several government agencies and organizations to further the rights of persons with albinism, and being a leader in more than twenty international human rights resolutions at both the United Nations and the African Union." Dr. Frances Cress Welsing often discuss the significance of albinism in relation to her theory of White Genetic Annihilation. She theorized that individuals classified as White are also melanin deficient, and their lack of pigmentation partly motivates their mistreatment of dark skinned people - especially those classified as black. Gus and C.O.W.S. listeners were able to ask a number of questions. Ms. Ero explained the "intrigue" or thrill associated with publicizing how dark skinned Africans abuse and sometimes butcher African people with albinism. We also discussed an alleged "white privilege" that she receives as a result of looking phenotypically similar to people classified as White. Ms. Ero acknowledged their may be some true to this statement. There was a substantial informal discussion following the main event, and Gus was able to ask even more questions. During this time, Ms. Ero explained that when she moved to Canada in her teens, an "Indian" person called her a "White nigger."
