Avoidance of doing a task that needs to be accomplished by a certain deadline

The most expensive sentence I've ever said is "I'll start tomorrow." Not because I said it once, but because I said it every day for years, quietly, in the area of my life that mattered most. When I recently asked you on Instagram what keeps you from following through, more than half of you named the same thing I struggled with: procrastination. So this is the one episode I want you to never need another one for. In this episode I'm breaking down why you actually procrastinate (it's simpler than you've been told), why putting something off doesn't relieve it but ages it, and the two moves that get you out: make later loud, and make starting cheap. I'll show you why the task was never the hard part, why starting is, and the one skill that beats procrastination almost every time. And I'll give you something to do in the next two minutes, because I refuse to let listening to this be the way you procrastinate today. If you've ever wanted something badly and still handed it to tomorrow, this one's for you. In this episode: Why listening to procrastination advice can be a form of procrastination Why ease wins in the moment (loud vs. silent) and what to do about it The difference between relieving a task and avoiding it Why you pay for the thing whether you do it or not, and how to pay only once Activation energy: why starting costs more than continuing The lie of "do it or don't do it," and the creative third option that's always there How to be a two-minute person Why momentum is its own kind of rest A few lines worth sitting with: "You're going to pay for this task whether you do it or not. The only question is how many times." "When you put it off, you didn't get rid of it. You aged it." "What I was missing wasn't discipline. It was creativity." "I don't want to call you out. I want to call you up." Ready to stop losing the negotiation? Procrastination is the conversation you have with yourself in the seconds before a choice, where you talk yourself into "not right now" and win, against yourself. DEFENSE Foundations is four weeks of guided practice for exactly those seconds. The cart is open now and we begin July 1st. Join us: elizabethbenton.com/defense/
Procrastination is a disease there is no cure or pill for. No magic phrase. It's all about having the right mindset. My brain and my body are programmed to protect myself and my family. I do some dangerous things to put my body in pain. Going to the gym. Staying focused at work. I have to kick out that little bitch voice out of my head and replace it with the real Ryan Stewman voice. Let me remind you....... God rewards the action takers. The hustlers. Many people like to wait on God, on other people........on themselves. If you do what the 99% do, you'll continue to wait. As soon as an idea comes into your mind, do it. God gives you the idea, and it's up to you to take action. The way you get rid of procrastination is to kill that little voice that tells you to wait.......the bitch voice. If you think it, do it. Do it now! Do it! Send us Fan MailMost people do not stay stuck because the storm is too strong. They stay stuck because they keep running from what they need to face.In this episode of The Mindset Café, we break down the buffalo vs. cow mindset: the difference between avoiding hard things and running directly toward them. Whether it is your fitness, business, money, relationships, or mindset, avoidance does not remove the problem. It usually makes the problem more expensive. You'll learn why avoidance feels good in the moment, why it destroys confidence over time, and how to build a simple “storm protocol” for facing hard things faster. #familyfarm #ranching #farmtok The Future Won't Wait: Building Stronger Farm Transitions This Summer When farm families think about succession planning, they often assume it's a conversation for the off-season. But what if summer is actually the best time to start? In this episode of The Impact Farming Show, Tracy sits down with farm succession expert Derryn Shrosbree to discuss why the busiest season on the farm may also be the most valuable season for planning the future. From meaningful conversations in the cab of a tractor to observing the next generation in action, Derryn shares practical insights that can help farm families build stronger transitions, reduce conflict, and create a clear path forward. If you've been putting off succession planning because you're too busy, this conversation may change the way you think about preparing for the future. Episode Highlights ✔ Why succession planning shouldn't be postponed until winter ✔ The powerful question every farm family should ask themselves: "What are you doing to feed your own family?" ✔ Simple succession conversations that can happen naturally during the summer months ✔ How to identify the next generation's strengths, interests, and readiness for leadership ✔ Common mistakes farm families make when they delay important discussions ✔ Practical ways to involve adult children in transition planning without creating pressure or conflict ✔ Warning signs that your family may be avoiding important succession conversations ✔ Three simple actions farmers can take before harvest season arrives ✔ Understanding why fairness and equality are not the same thing in farm succession ✔ One action every farm family can take this summer to strengthen their future Episode Timestamps 00:00 – Introduction 01:20 - Derryn shares more about himself, his honey & mushroom farm, and his work 02:45 – Why succession planning belongs on the summer to-do list 06:18 – Farmers feed the world—but are they feeding their own family? 10:51 – Simple conversations families can start while working together 14:28 - Tracy shares her worry about opening the conversation and asking kids their desires 16:38 - Splitting the farm equally among children is not sustainable. It will kill the farm. 18:38 - Tracy's fear of having the succession conversation without all the answers 20:48 - Controlling the narrative of your mind is the most important 23:40 – Why summer is the best season to observe the next generation 28:00 - Common mistakes farm families make when they delay important discussions 32:00 - Procrastination guarantees you leave behind a liability...not a legacy. 33:45 – Involving adult children without creating conflict 38:00 – Signs your family is avoiding difficult conversations 40:30 – Three practical steps to begin succession planning before harvest 42:20 – Fairness versus equality in farm transition planning 44:40 – The one thing every farm family should do this summer 45:58 – Final thoughts and key takeaways Every farm family knows the importance of preparing for the next season. Yet many postpone preparing for the next generation. The reality is simple: succession planning isn't a future problem—it's a current responsibility. Before harvest arrives, commit to one meaningful action. Ask a question. Start a conversation. Share your hopes for the future of the farm. You don't need all the answers to begin—you simply need the courage to start. If this episode challenged your thinking or inspired a conversation, share it with a family member, business partner, neighbour, or friend in agriculture. Together, we can help more farm families move from avoidance to action and build stronger transitions for generations to come. Remember..."Procrastination guarantees you leave behind a liability...not a legacy." - Derryn Shrosbree Thanks in for tuning in, Tracy =========== Resources & Links Watch Derryn's previous episodes on The Impact Farming Show here: https://www.farmmarketer.com/impact_farming_show/season-one-episodes =========== ✅ Important Links to Follow
Send us Fan MailIf you struggle with procrastination, you know how tough it can be to break the habit. That's because most of us try to do it by just forcing ourselves to stop. Not only is that the wrong approach, but this often exacerbates the problem. What actually works is figuring out what is behind your procrastination and, from there, addressing the root cause instead of just trying to skip right over it. Want to learn more about how to do that? Register for the "Too Perfect, Too Nice, Too Tired" webinar next Thursday, June 25th at noon ET by going to restovergrind.com/webinarBook a free consult call with me: restovergrind.com/work-with-meEmail me: info@restovergrind.comDownload my free videos on the 3Ps of Exhaustion (People Pleasing, Perfectionism, and Procrastination): restovegrind.com/free-videosInstagram and TikTok: @maria_stoyadinova
In this episode, Heather sits down with her good friend Nicole Begley for an honest conversation about productivity, efficiency, and why there is no one-size-fits-all approach to running a business. They share their vastly different ways of managing tasks, planning their days, and getting things done—and why trying to force someone else's system onto yourself often creates more frustration than results. If you've ever felt like you're "doing productivity wrong," this episode will be incredibly validating. Key Takeaways: There is no universal productivity system. What works brilliantly for one person may completely fail for someone else. Different brains require different approaches. Success comes from understanding your natural tendencies instead of fighting them. Stop making productivity struggles mean something about you. A system not working doesn't mean you're flawed. Self-awareness is more valuable than discipline. Learning how your brain operates helps you build sustainable systems. Shame keeps you stuck. Replacing judgment with curiosity creates freedom and momentum. Procrastination isn't always the problem. Sometimes it's simply how your brain naturally works under certain conditions. You don't have to force yourself into someone else's box. Your business gets to fit your brain—not the other way around. Deadlines and accountability matter differently for everyone. Knowing your triggers helps you create better systems. Flexibility is a strength. Productivity isn't about perfection—it's about finding what consistently supports you. The goal isn't to become someone else. The goal is to become more effective as yourself. What if you've never been bad at productivity… you've just been using the wrong system? What if the thing you've been criticizing about yourself is actually valuable information? This conversation will make you rethink everything you've believed about getting things done. Press play and finally give yourself permission to work the way your brain was designed to work. How to Support the Podcast: Subscribe to the podcast on iTunes or wherever you listen to podcasts. Thom's Nutshell: Ignoring our own dark potential only makes it stronger. Avoid washing dishes and there are not only more of them, they are also harder to clean. The difference between a reasonable and unreasonable expectation. From Allen: You can want from the best in you, or from the worst in you. You can want from what is healthy and solid, or what is empty and covetous. Wanting from neediness is common. Wanting from your solid, flexible self takes personal development. It takes growing up. From Thom: if any of you are afraid you've taken on your parents' characteristics, relax. You have. The 5 Points of Balance: Staying clear about our values and worth in the face of criticism (not letting others edit your sense of self). Calming our anxiety and comforting our emotional bruises or trauma. Grounded responding and not overreacting or under reacting when there is tension or anxiety. Confronting ourselves for our own integrity and able to meaningfully endure discomfort for our growth and development. Unhooking self, others and reality from unreasonable expectations. If life keeps speeding up and the demands keep stacking up (kids, parents, work, your own busy brain) then this one's for you. In this episode I interview speaker, writer and self-development expert Lily Silverton about her book Prioritize This: A Practical Guide for Thriving in a World That Won't Slow Down. We dig into three chapters that land hardest for the midlife squeezed middle: stress, overwhelm, and procrastination and some practical, brain-based tools for each. Lily is candid about her own experiences navigating the combination of a seriously ill father and young children, and why she has no time for self-help advice written for people with no heed for the demands of real life. Host:Sonya JanisseEpisode Title: No Hacks, No Quacks: The Real Practice of Building Your Next ChapterFormat: Solo Episode[00:00 - 02:30] Introduction: Real Life & The BiggerHey everyone, welcome back to the show. This is Episode 211.If my voice sounds a little more slowed down or deeply anchored today, it's because I am practicing exactly what I preach. Two days ago, on Thursday, I had to get a round of needles for my neuralgia. It is intense, it takes a toll, and it demands that I pause. So today, I am recording this from a place of deep rest, prioritization, and making sacrifices for the bigger picture. I could have pushed myself to the brink this week, but the bigger picture requires my health. It requires me to look at my schedule and say, "What actually matters right now?"And that brings us right into today's conversation. Because I am so incredibly tired of the noise out there.Let's just lay the cards on the table: I am not a full-of-shit wellness influencer. I am not here to sell you a magical 90-day transformation where you wake up a completely different person, drinking green juice on a mountaintop, totally cured of human friction.I hate hacks. I hate quacks. And I absolutely loathe marketing gimmicks.Let's be honest, most of those supplements you're being targeted with on social media? They are costly garbage. They are expensive urine packaged in aesthetic bottles designed to make you feel like you can buy your way out of the actual work.We need to talk about what it actually takes to build a life, a business, and a body that feels like home, without the fluff.[02:30 - 06:00] Segment The Hard Truths About Consistency and FeelingsHere is the truth that the wellness industry won't tell you: You already know what to do.That's not the problem. You don't need another masterclass, you don't need another book, and you don't need to be motivated. Motivation is a fair-weather friend. It shows up when the sun is shining and vanishes the second things get heavy or painful. We treat consistency like it's a personality trait, like some people are just born with the "consistency gene" and the rest of us missed out. It's not a trait.Consistency is a practice. It is a muscle you build when you don't want to.And that requires us to reframe how we look at our emotions. Feelings are real. But they are not decision-making criteria.“Feelings are real. But they are not decision-making criteria.”If I only created content, built my business, or took care of myself when I felt like it, especially living with chronic pain, I would never leave my bed. If you wait until you feel like doing the hard thing, you will be waiting forever. Procrastination will bury you if you let it.When you find yourself stuck, throwing your hands up and saying, "I don't know how to fix this," I want you to pause. "I don't know" is where you start. It is not where you stop. It's an invitation to figure it out, not an exit ramp to give up.Because at the end of the day, you can't outsource your pushups. Nobody else can do the heavy lifting for your life. Learning about the workout won't change your body. Learning won't change you. Practice will.[06:00 - 09:30] Segment 2: Little Hinges Swing Big DoorsSo how do we actually practice this without burning out?First, remember that successful people ask for help.Pushing uphill by yourself isn't a badge of honor; it's a fast track to exhaustion. Asking for help—whether that's from your support circle, a professional, or your community—is a strategy, not a weakness.Second, embrace the unsexy truth: Something is better than nothing. Every single time.If you can't do a full one-hour workout, do ten minutes of stretching. If you can't write a whole chapter of your book, write one paragraph. If you can't launch a massive course today, write down the outline. We get paralyzed by perfectionism, but specificity is a superpower. When you get crystal clear on the exact, tiny step you need to take next, the overwhelm vanishes. Little hinges swing big doors. You don't need a sledgehammer to change your life; you just need to move the right small hinge consistently.[09:30 - 12:00] Segment 3: Behind the Scenes (The Foundations)I am applying every single one of these principles behind the scenes right now as I build the foundations for what is coming next for this community. I am taking small, specific actions every day to bring three beautiful projects to life:Fashion Over 50: The Bloom Within Wardrobe. We are redefining what it means to dress, feel, and show up authentically in our fifties. No rules, just true personal alignment.New Content Delivery. I am working on brand new courses and bite-sized mini-training sessions designed to give you actionable practices, not more theoretical fluff. The Retreat. [Lowers voice playfully] Okay... lower your voice, because this is a "shhhhh" situation. We are only sharing a tiny bit right now, but we are officially looking at a Southwestern Ontario location for our very first live, in-person event.I've been thinking a lot about what to call this retreat experience. I want it to reflect that feeling of stepping out of the hustle, dropping the armor, and anchoring into your true power. I'm playing with a few titles, and I'd love for you to sit with these:The Grounded GatheringThe Aligned ReturnThe Sanctuary PracticeWe aren't sharing anything else just yet, but the foundation is being poured.[12:00 - 13:00] Conclusion & Call to ActionYou don't need a 90-day gimmick. You just need to look at today and ask yourself: What is the small hinge I can move right now? What is the "something" that is infinitely better than "nothing"?Here is my call to action for you today: I want to hear from you. Which one of these truths hit you hardest today? Was it that you can't outsource your pushups? Was it that your feelings aren't decision-making criteria?Take a screenshot of this episode, share it to your stories, tag me, and tell me the one unsexy, practical thing you are going to do today anyway—even if you aren't motivated.Thank you for being here, for leaning into the real practice with me, and I will talk to you next week.Episode Summary: In Episode 211, we are throwing out the wellness industry playbook. No marketing gimmicks, no costly garbage supplements, and absolutely no 90-day magical transformations. Instead, we are diving into the unsexy, beautiful reality of what it actually takes to build your life: real practice, radical prioritization, and understanding that consistency isn't a personality trait—it's a choice. Plus, get a top-secret behind-the-scenes update on what's coming next for the community (including a whisper about a Southwestern Ontario location!).In this episode, we discuss:Modeling real rest and prioritization after a heavy week of neuralgic treatments. Why motivation is a myth and why your feelings shouldn't be your decision-making criteria. The power of "something is better than nothing" and why specificity is your ultimate superpower.A sneak peek into Fashion Over 50: The Bloom Within Wardrobe, new mini-trainings, and a top-secret retreat update.Connect with Me:Share this episode on Instagram/Facebook and tag me with your breakthrough!www.sonyajanisse.comsonyajanisse@gmail.comhttps://linktr.ee/sonyajanisse

Send us Fan MailWe don't think about this a lot, but people pleasing often comes with a lot of mental math. We try to figure out the exact right "threshold" at which it's OK to say "no" to a new request. At what number of overtime hours can we legitimately say we're too busy to turn down a project? At what level of stress? That fear of just saying you are at capacity without having an ironclad proof that you deserve it leads to a lot of overworking, stress, and burnout. During the "Too Perfect, Too Nice, Too Tired" webinar on June 25th, I will teach you how to step away from that mental math and start feeling more confident in your instincts of when there is too much on your plate. The Liberated Life - Set Yourself Free in Business and Pleasure
A lot of us are tired in a way that sleep doesn't fix. We're doing the things — the work, the list, the showing up — and still, something is pulling at us. A low hum of unfinished. For years, Robin Quinn Keehn thought that hum was a personal failing: not disciplined enough, not organized enough. It wasn't any of that. It was Open Loops. This is the backbone episode of the show — the one to send anyone who's new. Robin defines an Open Loop plainly (a commitment, promise, or agreement that's unfinished, incomplete, or outdated, quietly draining your time, energy, and peace), then walks through the three kinds almost all of us carry: Relational Loops with other people, Self-Loops — the promises we break to ourselves — and Unspoken Brokens, the things that needed to be said and never were. You'll hear why loops stay open (it's avoidance, not discipline), what they actually cost — especially what broken self-promises do to your confidence — and the three ways to close any loop: end it, evolve it, or recommit to it, on purpose. This is also where Robin introduces the free 5-Day Detox Your To-Do List Challenge, starting June 29. In this episode: What an Open Loop actually is — and why it stays quiet The three kinds: Relational Loops, Self-Loops, and Unspoken Brokens Why broken promises to yourself quietly erode your confidence Why open loops are an avoidance problem, not a discipline problem The real cost: time, energy, peace — and belief in yourself The three ways to close any loop: end it, evolve it, recommit to it An invitation to the free 5-Day Detox Your To-Do List Challenge (starts June 29) If this episode resonated with you, you might enjoy our free People Skillz community — a structured space to practice steadier, more intentional communication. We also created a short Communication Patterns Quiz to help you identify how you respond under pressure. You'll find both here.

This week, Angela discusses the significant impact of inflation on retirement planning. The conversation emphasizes the importance of proactive financial planning to ensure individuals can not only retire but also remain retired successfully despite rising costs. Key Takeaways
Procrastination on workouts and healthy habits is rarely about time or energy. There is usually a feeling underneath the delay that the mind is working hard to avoid. Naming that feeling takes some of its power away. Making a smaller first move takes the rest. The goal does not have to shrink. Just the entry point. Once you are moving the resistance almost always does too. Putting off workouts and healthy habits is rarely about laziness or not caring enough. There is almost always a feeling underneath the delay that the mind is trying to avoid. Once that feeling gets named the procrastination starts making more sense and becomes easier to interrupt. Smaller asks, clearer decisions made in advance, and less meaning attached to each task can change the pattern faster than more motivation ever will. Procrastination has a starting point. Find it and the way through it gets a lot clearer. It took Robin Emdon 10 years to finish a six-year degree. On the 20-minute drive home from celebrating with his brother, he started counting what procrastination had actually cost him: relationships, finances, career, health. By the time he pulled into his driveway, he was furious. He was a trained life coach. And he didn't have the cure. That moment sent him into 900 research studies on procrastination and what he found will completely change how you think about why you delay, avoid, and stall on the things that matter most. Procrastination isn't a character flaw or a discipline problem. It's hardwired into your brain and there's a science-backed way to work with it instead of against it. In this high-energy, deeply practical conversation, George sits down with Robin J. Emdon, accountability coach, creator of GetResultsology®, and host of the GoalBusters Podcast, to unpack the real psychology behind why entrepreneurs stay stuck and exactly what to do about it. This one is equal parts neuroscience and permission slip. You'll leave with a completely new framework for productivity and the clarity to finally stop mistaking busyness for progress. What You'll Learn In This Episode: Why procrastination and productivity are just vehicles and what you're actually driving toward The brain science behind why we're hardwired to procrastinate (and why it's not your fault) The three neurotransmitters that determine your productivity state and how to activate them Robin's Inner Productivity Team: the Conductor, the Scholar, and the Fun-Sized Warrior Why setting big goals can actually trigger procrastination and what to use instead How external accountability can raise goal achievement by up to 33% The Pomodoro technique and how to use it to break patterns and build momentum fast Why the most productive environment isn't always the tidiest one The four questions that cut through any form of self-deception around avoidance How to connect your daily micro-actions to your Personal Life Vision Key Takeaways: ✔️Procrastination is what stops you from living the life of your dreams. Productivity is what gets you there. ✔️We're hardwired to procrastinate. The brain's limbic system is designed for survival, not creativity. ✔️To get into the groove of productivity, you need three neurotransmitters present: dopamine (the Conductor), acetylcholine (the Scholar), and noradrenaline (the Fun-Sized Warrior). When all three are active, you're in flow. ✔️Goals create obligation. Obligation creates anxiety. Anxiety triggers threat modality which shuts down your prefrontal cortex entirely. Use micro-deadlines and clear next steps instead ✔️External accountability is one of the most powerful productivity tools available. ✔️One POM (25-minute focused block) is enough to start. You don't have to solve everything today. You just have to begin. ✔️The four questions that cut through any avoidance: What are you pretending not to know? What are you pretending not to see? Where else does this show up in your life? And what is it costing you? In this episode of The Neurodivergent Experience, Jordan James and Simon Scott explore the exhausting reality of procrastination, executive dysfunction, and navigating deadlines as neurodivergent adults. From forgotten weddings and last-minute panic buying to missed emails, time blindness, and overwhelming admin tasks, they unpack how procrastination is rarely about laziness — and far more often linked to anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, and fear of failure. They discuss practical coping strategies too, including body doubling, breaking tasks into smaller steps, momentum-building, and learning to work with your brain rather than against it.Funny, chaotic, painfully relatable, and deeply honest — this episode is a raw look at the emotional reality of executive dysfunction and the hidden energy cost of simply trying to keep up.Our Sponsors:
Matt examines "revenge bedtime procrastination," where individuals voluntarily delay sleep to reclaim autonomy. Distinguishing this "unlocked door" from the "locked door" of insomnia, he uses global data to explain how smartphones and low agency trigger this behavior which then leads to chronic sleep debt and impaired cognitive function.Matt goes on to link sleep irregularity to all-cause mortality, noting how inconsistent timing compromises long-term health. He offers such solutions as "implementation intentions" - ‘If-Then' plans - proven in trials to reduce delay. You know what you should do. You're just not doing it. The gym bag is by the door. The draft is open on your screen. The email's been sitting there for three days. And somewhere underneath all of it is the same quiet assumption running the show: that you have to feel like it first. That motivation comes before action. What if that's backwards? That's the premise behind Morita therapy, and it's the reason this conversation with Gregg Krech might rearrange how you think about getting things done. Gregg is the Executive Director of the ToDo Institute, a Naikan education and retreat center in Vermont.. He is also the author of several books, including: "Naikan: Gratitude, Grace, and the Japanese Art of Self-Reflection," "A Natural Approach to Mental Wellness," "The Art of Taking Action," and "Question Your Life." For nearly thirty years Gregg has been teaching an approach called Morita therapy developed a century ago by a Japanese psychiatrist to treat severe anxiety, and it offers a genuinely different way of dealing with the feelings that stop us. Here's the core of it. When we have a difficult feeling, like anxiety, depression, anger, or the urge to quit, we think we have two options: express it or suppress it. Morita therapy offers a third. Acceptance. You coexist with the feeling, and you take action anyway. In this conversation we get into how you actually build that skill, not as a concept, but as something you train like free throws or piano. We cover why motivation is optional, what the maxim "lead with the body" means, why the smartest people often get the most stuck, and how to use your attention to relieve suffering in real time. We talk about recovering from real setbacks like job loss and divorce, and end on a surprisingly freeing idea about indecision: why what you do after you decide matters far more than the decision itself. Hey Clutterbugs! Struggling with procrastination? You're not alone. Procrastination can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and trapped in a cycle of guilt and avoidance. In this episode, I open up about my own struggles with procrastination—how I've started too many projects, gotten overwhelmed, and ended up in a rut—and share the strategies that have helped me break free. If you're ready to ditch the overwhelm, tackle unfinished projects, and finally get things done, this episode is for you! We'll also be joined by Dr. Christine Li, aka the Procrastination Coach, who shares her expert insights on why we procrastinate (hint: it's not about laziness!) and how to reframe your mindset to take action. Together, we'll tackle the root causes of procrastination, from perfectionism and fear of failure to negative self-talk and the shame that keeps us stuck. Plus, I'll share my favorite “do it crappy” method to help you stop overthinking and start making progress—no matter how messy it might be. And don't think you're just going to sit and listen! I want you to grab an unfinished project—whether it's that pile of laundry, a junk drawer, or a half-finished craft—and get moving while you tune in. Set a timer, borrow my energy, and let's tackle it together. You'll be amazed at how much better you feel when you close the loop and finally get something done. Why do I keep procrastinating?Procrastination usually comes from one of three places: the task isn't actually aligned with who you are or where you're going, you're afraid of being visible (the witch wound), or you don't fully trust yourself to follow through. Most "procrastination" is really a way of protecting yourself from feeling bad.Is procrastination a character flaw? No. Procrastination is a safety mechanism. You're not a person who procrastinates - you're a person who keeps yourself from feeling uncomfortable. Naming the real cause underneath it is what actually creates movement. What is the witch wound and how does it cause procrastination? The witch wound is the inherited fear of being seen, being different, or being "too much" rooted in ancestral and historical danger around women's power. It shows up as visibility anxiety: you stall on the thing you want because some part of you fears rejection from your peers or family for stepping out of line.☀️
