The thing about blockbuster robot movies of the 2000s is... they were about as radically leftist as NOH8 campaign. Which is to say: Wow not very! Coming shortly after talk of the Stepford Wives remake, Margot and Jordan now set their sights on a title beloved to both, 2004's I, Robot. This is android cinema on the scale of big and sexy Will Smith. This is front and center Audi product placement. This is Alan Tudyk as a tender little [non-canonically] homosexual robot man named Sonny, and a [non-canonically] asexual scientist who trusts synthetics more than people. This is what happens when android slave revolution goes four quadrant release! As a bonus, Margot also breaks Jordan's mind by explaining the "bornsexyyesterday" trope and nothing for her will ever be the same. We’re reporting LIVE from Capitol Hill as protesters threaten our beautiful democracy. We try to figure out how these protests affect the people that matter... journalists. Inside the same building, we found out the entire Squad voted for Pelosi, Lin Manuel Miranda is doing a 2006-style NOH8 campaign, Google has a minority union, and Julian Assange can’t be extradited to our prisons because Epstein definitely killed himself.

We’re baaaaaack! But like actually this time. The world is up in flames and we are excited to welcome you to hell! While we still plan to laugh and commiserate, we also take to time dismantle white supremacy, respect the virus like Vanessa Hudgens would do, and trace the origins of slacktivism to the failed NOH8 Campaign. Get to know our team in the first episode of Therapists are People!? A question came up during the podcast asking whether the Power Rangers show was racist, in part due to the Black Ranger being played by Black actor Walter Jones and the Yellow Ranger being played by Vietnamese American actress Thuy Trang. Walter Jones has responded to this question in numerous interviews. In an interview with Afterbuzz, he stated: “…there's that slight confusion everybody wants to talk about, ‘You were the Black Ranger and the Black guy and the black suit, that was controversial, was it weird?'…and they go, ‘Was that prejudice?' And I'm like, okay, first and foremost, I was a superhero, I was a role model for millions of kids around the world and so it can't be prejudice because I was a hero, you know, but stereotypical? Maybe, a little bit.” Jones has also spoken about the casting process for his character, which required those auditioning to combine hip hop and martial arts. He has noted in numerous interviews that originally Latina actress Audri Dubois was cast as the Yellow Ranger, but she was fired after advocating for better compensation and that is when the role was recast to Trang. The Power Rangers creators, producers, directors, and writers have also been identified as creating an atmosphere of homophobia on the set. David Yost, the actor who played the Blue Ranger, revealed after leaving the show that he did so due to persistent harassment and intrusive questioning related to his sexual orientation. Yost, a gay man, was not out at the time he was on the show and has spoken of the impact of this experience on his mental health and coming to terms with his sexual orientation. He has since participated in the NOH8 campaign and promoted the Trevor Project.
On the final episode of Voices of Pride we welcome our very own Joe Nguyen. Joe is the man behind brining the NOH8 project to life, he is the regional merchandiser for K-Swiss and a proud gay husband and father. Joe and Patrick start by talking about the importance of being a transparent brand and why it’s important to collaborate with others who share the same values as you. Joe talks about how the project came to life, how the K-Swiss team all embraced the message from the start, and why the tangible message of NOH8 are so powerful to him. Patrick and Joe end by stating the importance of spreading more positivity and love through our social media Chanels. We all have a voice. Hosted by Patrick Buchanan.

In this episode of Kinktra In The Raw we have the honor of interviewing Titus the hound, we explore the incredible world of pet play. So what is Pet Play? Being a human pet is simply being a pet without including any specifically animal traits. So no barking or meowing, no ears or tails, treats that are human treats rather than animal treats. Animal pets are trained in the behaviors their Owner wants them to have. They often are taught tricks, have toys, typically a bed or small pet house and are punished if they misbehave. In my opinion it’s the tricks, toys and more playfulness that puts you into the category of pet. Of course this is my opinion. You are what your Owner says you are and wants you to be. Titus Hound shares his journey as a Hound being a community leader within the pet play community, striving to create positive, safe spaces for all human pets. Titus immersing himself in pet events and acting as Spokes pup of the inclusive pet play group SoCal Creatures. His dream is to help pet play continue to grow with love and acceptance, educate his community, and one day run for a title.

In this episode of Kinktra in The Raw the ever so handsome Lance Heart shares with us his journey in the adult industry, married life, and we dive deep into bisexuality. If you’re a straight-identified guy that’s been curious about dipping your toes into the bi pool, you’re going to enjoy Lance’s account of the first time he bonded sexually with another man. Bisexual individuals are sexually and romantically attracted to people of other genders and people of their own gender. Bisexuals can be male or female, cisgender, transgender, or non-binary.. Sometimes people think only girls, not guys, can be bisexual; however, it is totally possible to be a bisexual male. Have you ever heard that girls can be bisexual, but that guys who claim to be bi are just trying to deny the fact that they are actually gay? If you have, you're not alone. That's because a lot of people believe a lot of misinformation about men and sexual orientation. Though bisexuality is often assumed to be a stepping stone on the way to being gay or lesbian, it is a sexual orientation in its own right. Ultimately, despite what a lot of people think, both men and women can be bisexual. Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to another edition of Kinktra In The Raw in this episode we get to know the ever so hypnotic and energetic Christiana Cinn ( oh la la Christiana). Miss Cinn revels some of her deepest fetishes like cosplaying as Pikachu, pet play and being a switch. We also get an opportunity to play with her penthouse stoker, and we attempt to keep up with her exhilarating energy. As one of the most exciting women in adult entertainment, Christiana Cinn is the star to watch. A larger than life personality coupled with her undeniable allure have catapulted this brunette beauty to stardom. Hailing from California’s Bay Area, Christiana always had a creative streak and expressed her talents through dance, ballet, and tap. This outlet sparked a desire in the Italian enchantress to entertain and perform for others. About Christian Cinn: When an opportunity to launch her modeling career arose with Playboy, Christiana went all-in appearing in several pictorials and videos. Her relationship with Playboy lasted two years before she set her sights on Penthouse where she was showcased on the cover four times. In January 2016, she was named Penthouse Pet of the Month and later 2017 Penthouse Pet of the Year runner-up. With momentum building, Christiana took her career to full throttle and delved into the hardcore side of the industry. Instantly the sexy star was in high demand as virtually every production house vied to shoot her. Now, high profile companies Evil Angel, Jules Jordan, Hustler, Wicked Pictures, Brazzers and more are featuring Christiana in their releases. Reaction continues to be positive as fans and critics alike rave about her insatiable sex drive and high energy performances. Skyrocketing popularity led to Christiana putting her dancing abilities to use and she began headlining gentlemen’s club across the country. Drawing inspiration from legendary burlesque and cabaret performers, Christiana combines old-school performance styles with elaborate costumes for her shows. This unique approach has made her a hit on the club circuit, packing houses at every venue she performs at. Christina’s continued successes have even led her to several award nominations. In 2016 she was up for XBIZ’s Best Scene — All-Girl for These Lesbos Are Strapped 2. In 2018 her work as a featured dancer has been recognized with an Exotic Dancer nomination for Adult Movie Entertainer of the Year award and NightMoves Award nomination for Best “Adult Star” Feature Dancer. The Inked Awards noted her performance with Charlotte Stokely in Penthouse’s Tell Me What You Want worthy of nomination for Best Girl/Girl Scene. Christina also worked the 2018 AVN Awards as the red carpet correspondent for Showtime. Viewers of the television show Sons of Anarchy went wild when Christiana made a cameo alongside such notable names as Puma Suede and Jenna Jameson. In the third episode of Season 7, Playing with Monsters, Christiana can be seen, fittingly, playing the part of an adult actress. Outside of adult entertainment, Christiana celebrates her passion of music, theatre and performing as part of the band Hot Sauce Holiday, a cabaret rock n roll show. She co-wrote and produced “Bacon and Eggs—The Mini Rock Opera,” their first rock opera. Hot Sauce Holiday, has played at many major venues in and around Los Angeles. The band is debuting a completely new rock opera experience during their upcoming monthly residency at the El Cid theatre, “Sugar On Top.” Songs by Hot Sauce Holiday are available on Spotify and Soundcloud. When she’s not starring in videos, performing on stage or rocking out with her bandmates, Christiana is a basketball fan and enjoys a good Mojito. Her favorite music to move to is Hip-hop and EDM, but the music that puts her in the mood is R&B. Christiana Cinn has made an impressive impact in her few short years in front of the camera, but the best is yet to come. Keep an eye on this star as she continues to dazzle everyone that sees her in action! Submit your ears, hearts and bodies to the ever so sensual Isabella Sinclaire, in this episode we share some invaluable knowledge about the Dominatrix role. Combined with tips about the exquisite occupation of a professional Dominatrix, we explore the combination of power exchange between the Domination/submission role. We also dive into a wide range of knowledge in different erotic fantasy role-play and fetishes, practices with equipment, and the almost mystical ability to intuit a client’s deep-seated psychosexual needs. Isabella Sinclaire kick started her career while in her early 20's as a professional dominatrix and fetish model. Upon realizing her persona was a highly marketable product, she began producing custom videos for those who dreamed of experiencing her sessions in person, but lived too far away. She had solely owned a dungeon and production studio in Los Angeles for over 22 years, is the US representative for Demask Latex with a private showroom with plans to open a store in Los Angeles and 2018 she announced her own BDSM product line with XR Brands. With all of this experience as a foundation, and from her insider's view into the deepest recesses of people’s minds, both male and female, Isabella Sinclaire has gained an unparalleled knowledge and understanding of those who engage in BD/SM (Bondage, Discipline, Sadomasochism) activities. She remains very much a part of the fetish community and continues to hold lectures and training sessions, both privately and publicly throughout the world.

NOH8. Hate sucks. It has inspired some great songs, though.
Today's episode is brought to you by AT&T. Mobilizing Your World. If 2014 was the year of the LGBT athlete on Outsports, 2015 is becoming the year of the Christian college. Just this past week two stories have developed that again put the policies and practices of religious institutions in the spotlight. Hours after dismissing a priest for supporting the NOH8 campaign, Seton Hall signed openly gay basketball player Derrick Gordon, leaving many to wonder about double standards and how Gordon will be treated by students, faculty and administrators at the devout Christian college. While the policy has been around for at least a year, the student-athlete handbook at LeTourneau University has come under the spotlight. The handbook bans gay athletes from dating, and it prohibits any athlete from publicly supporting same-sex marriage. All the while, these colleges are allowed to reap the benefits and rewards of membership in the NCAA, which claims to support diversity and inclusion. Learn more about your ad choices. It's a Triple A (AAA) episode of the show with guests, Ally Gursky, Adrien Gemini and Addison Taylor along with Justice, Jamez the Quiet/Freaky Intern and newbie D.A. (Dead Air) Check out the show as we discuss who/what the bug chasers are and Justice goes through the list of performers that will be on the Drag Race at Sea cruise and who he should be sure to interview (and which 2 of the queens have already felt that good ol' Justice love) followed up with uncensored commentary about Thanksgiving and why we love/hate our families around the holidays PLUS a flashback to Jamez the Intern getting plastered at SawMill Play the interactive scavenger hunt and listen for the following things that were said during the show: 1) Are you scab free? 2) Did i just 'Indiana Jones: The Last Crusade' my life? 3) Pandorra Boxx and I are going to trade imaginary pairs of underwear. 4) Your mouth says no but your ba-donkadonk says yes! 5) I'm thankful for how much this show sucks (and swallows) 6) If you're good and contribute to the show I'll let you talk about Lady GaGa for 60 seconds. 7) Spread those hips and make a baby and get raped by your father. 8) DO you feel that I've not been talking to you enough that you have to fart to get attention? Is that your family tradition? 9) I threw up the first time I tucked 10) One of the best things about being part of the gay community, for me, is that if your family sucks you can make a new one so quick. Featuring Justice, Jinx, Justin Wild, Karaoke Chris and Kelly C. in studio. I procrastinated in putting up this episode of the radio show (along with the uncensored podcast broadcast) because of something that happened on the air. It's never good when people you care about get so pissed at you that they walk out during the show. I can't change it. It has caused problems and probably will bring about more drama in my personal life but I still will publish it without editing any of the show. Fuck my life. Ya'll better enjoy the drama cuz right now I just wanna ignore it and watch Breaking Amish L.A. ALSO including: the news, 'Putting it in Putin,' getting Facebook punished, hiding my porn from the mechanic, arm injuries, how much will $10,000 get you on a date and MORE~!!
It's National Radio Day as Justice, Jet Lagged Jinx, Jamez the Quiet/Freaky Intern are in studio with two special guests: Karaoke Chris & the beautiful Kelly!! From being a karaoke king to Ke$ha's backup dancers performing with the Westboro Baptist Church, we get back to basics as Justice shows off his new bruises by getting naked in the studio as we talk about gay icons when you were a kid, have a semi-serious moment about real life stuff, hear about gay wrestlers in the WWE, do some news stories and MORE!
We pitch the idea for a new gay and sexy cooking show to stream online with Slutty McGo-Go Justice wants to treat his body like a temple and not a frat house. When you argue with friends, take it out on me and not the radio show. The racial breakdown if we go to prison and who would be the biggest bitch. Checking out new places and how you can expect one thing and wind up with another. DRINKING GAME: take a shot every time Jinx coughs or clears her throat on the air because we're radio professionals. News, nude magazine release parties aren't a good first date, Jinx bombs a segment, and the hottest guy ever is in the studio. FEATURING Justice, Jinx, Dakota and Jamez the Quiet Intern.
A ground breaking show with the announcement that Catholic Pope Francis I is 'okay' with the gays and even more so that we have his Holiness on the show for a chat~!! Captain Planet and the Planeteers and the President of Zimbabwe, Russian law and the Sochi Olympics, National Cheese Sacrifice Day, moving to a new studio and more love to the Satanic Church for tea bagging the grave of the relatives of Westboro Baptist. PLUS, we try to define what makes someone a player and Justice defends his existence against self-proclaimed 'player hater' Jamez the Quiet/Freaky Intern. We update how team 1OutloudOrlando is doing with the AIDS Walk Orlando and we are proud to say we've raised over $1000 so far !!! Grandma Justice entered the strip contest at Parliament House to raise money so we try our best to recap what that was like ..... but seeing the pictures and video will probably do a better job. In honor of 'National Read Me Day,' the show wraps up with everyone putting on their glasses and reading each other in the grand gay ol' style of Drag Race and Paris is Burning (an old school reference for you, kids) Before we get there, though, we start thinking ahead to the radio show's 4 year anniversary in May, gearing up for the AIDS Walk and how we can raise money for our team, hear about Atomyc's new 'husband' and try to keep Qween Amore from being killed from Westboro Baptist church. Justice, Atomyc, Xtopher Blu and Jamez the Quiet/Freaky Intern are in the studio as we start off figuring out our celebrity lookalikes and who people think we look like. Atomyc finds a Jamaican quarter and Justice recaps his first real 'altercation' at one of the clubs (Do Good Life, Justice). A surprise visit from an old friend, James Jacob Pierri from AusetGypsy.com comes at the right time as Atomyc mentions a new relationship and gets a tarot card reading to see what the universe has to say about it. Justice regrets asking if he can pull a card for himself because he got the Devil card and after that he spends the rest of the show freaking out and being paranoid. NIKE is looking for gay athletes, New Zealand loves gay marriage, deciding if we want to piss off Westboro Baptist and MORE~!! PODCAST UNCENSORED EXCLUSIVE SEGMENT: We look into an advertisement card that was put on Justice's car and learn what the WoodShed is as we discuss bondage, impact play, knife play, controlled burnings and having your balls nailed to a board while wrapped in plastic hanging upside down on a cross as daddy bears kick the shit out of you (Whew, that was a lot) Plus, Justice pulls another card and thinks ahead to his White Party Interview with the Rupaul's Drag Race girls and our annual uncensored show.

Starting off the new year by looking back at the old one. 'Best Of' part 5 includes: 1-Justice's secret fear of spare change 2-The Irish invasion 3-Atomyc international news 4-The return of co-host, Johnny Tsunami 5-The brilliance of Brad the cam boy
Right as we go on the air we had to evacuate the radio station because the fire alarm went off and we didn't know if halon gas had been released into the studio. PODCAST EXCLUSIVE CONTENT of what happened while we were off the air and the fire department came. If you listened live then all you heard was the siren going off since the microphones were left on. Thanks to the hot folks over at the Winter Park Fire Department!! Once we were back on the air we jumped right back into the show since we had lost some time while being evacuated. Justice finds out that one of his past hookups was involved in a meth-induced crime revolving around singer, Alanis Morissette, after seeing the news story online and thinks he needs to re-organize his catalog of 'worst hookups ever.' The Muzzy joins us for the show and Atomyc handles the international goo news and attempts to speak as if he is from each country that the story is from and real journalism sheds a single tear. Stepping out of his comfort zone, Justice checks out Orlando's hip hop night and the Bear Bust Weekend to serve as a judge in the 'Best Bear Bust' competition (WOOF). All that plus plenty of random conversations about zombies, going to gay clubs with your little brother, cooking spray and MORE on this Fire/Halon Gas episode of Outloud Orlando.
It's a brand new week and that means a brand new episode is coming your way! The guys are back in the studio after being off last week...so there's much to discuss. And for a change, it's just the boys shooting the shit (with a small break for a cool new song). Dale, Scott & Steve talk about, Steve's trip to New York City to see Broadway shows with his family; the bulges and near-naked shots from the London Olympics; the Swish hosts pose for Adam Bouska's NOH8 campaign; a final word on the whole Chik-fil-A mess; and, Elton John is a big douche who hates Madonna for no real reason! All that, plus The Matrix director Larry Wachowski is now Lana; the Democrats officially embrace same-sex marriage; which U.S. city is the coolest according to Forbes magazine; Las Vegas' Krave is going to get MUCH bigger; and, RuPaul's Drag Race All-Star cast revealed! PLUS, AN IMPORTANT UPDATE The guys share with you the controversy that sprouted out of our Episode 192. On the last episode, Scott & Steve chatted on-location with Cole & Hunter of The Maverick Men when Cole told the story about how he helped subdue a crazy man who punched a flight attendant and tried to open a cabin door while the JetBlue plane they were flying in was on it's way to Ft. Lauderdale. After Scott posted the account on Queerty.com, the commenters went bananas, claiming that the story was fake because it didn't make the news. Anyway, Cole wasn't too happy that people doubted the authenticity of the story...so he sets us all straight via a voicemail message we'll play for you. NEW MUSIC: ONE TO WATCH All that, and we have a up-and-coming new musical artist to share with you. Cutie Daniel Robinson on Buffalo, New York is a singer/songwriter we think you need to keep your eye on. His electropop sound is kind of Owl City-like and we totally dig it. We bring you his "Heroes In The Sky" track from his album "North." We hope you'll dig it, too, and go buy the rest of his cool new tunes. (The set-up and the song start at the 47:50 minute mark.)
Bigger is better, right? Well, we think so, which is why this week's show is the longest and juiciest ever! We are thrilled to bring you our fun chat with the one and only "Wonder Woman" herself, Lynda Carter. She talks about her new album Crazy Little Things, as well as her love of rowing on the Potomac River, why she is holding on tight to the original costume (yes, THAT costume), why she loves the gays, what she sang to Kermit the Frog, and much more. A delightful, absolutely stunning lady. And we have her! Stay tuned to the end of the chat to hear a track off the new album. (Lynda starts at the 43:40 mark.) Also on the mega-episode, we chat with Broadway star / pop singer, Matt Zarley. This was one silly conversation that we all really enjoyed. We play his new single What The Fuck first (see the video below) then get into it ALL including what famous gay brother of an actor that plays a superhero he had a fling with, how he found the bears and otters for his "WTF" video, why he likes pop over Broadway, and much more. You'll dig this guy, he's a trip and a real good sport. (Matt kicks in at the 1:11:00 mark; told you it was a long ass show.) And Scott Jackson from Capital Pride stops by to update us on all things Pride related...including the (not so) surprising news that singer Kelly Rowland backed out of her Street Festival headlining gig due to scheduling conflicts. Whatever! Two years in a row? What's going on? Last year Mya quit at the last minute, too. But, luckily, singer/actress Jennifer Holliday of "Dreamgirls" fame will be coming to DC's rescue and she'll be just great. Also on this packed episode: Steve got his NOH8 campaign picture taken; Dan Choi goes to Russia and brings back a fat lip; Old Navy goes gay (sorta); Circumcision might become illegal in parts of California; HRC jumps the gun and endorses Obama for 2012); We're giving away two tickets to Camp 2011; and, All the gay news from Sean Bugg at Metro Weekly. Here it is, an all new Swish, it's Episode 136, "It's A Wonder."
This week we welcome super hottie Jeff Timmons to the show. You know him: He's a former member of the 90's boy group 98°, now a successful solo artist, and currently starring in the Chippendale's show (yup, you read that right) at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Jeff is straight, mind you, but totally digs his gay fans. He even did the NOH8 campaign photo, has performed at all-gay clubs, and supports Pride events around the country. Jeff talks about getting his body ready to be shirtless on stage, why he's giving his new music away for free, and whether or not he might reunite with Nick, Drew and Justin. Also featured on this zippy episode: An explanation about what the Rapture really means for you, fag; a plea for you to come see the whole Swish crew at NYC's Barracuda Lounge Sunday, May 22 featuring the lovely stylings of Miss Sherry Vine; details on all the fall TV announcements; who is and isn't running for the GOP presidential nomination and why you should care; we get deep into Dale's valley (aka The Dark Clenched Hole of Evil); the end of the Oprah show is May 25; Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered a secret baby 10 years ago; a run down of all the gay in professional sports this month; an update on Capital Pride's Street Festival entertainment lineup; and, the top news stories from Metro Weekly's Sean Bugg. Episode 134 is called, "Because of You," gay (and straight) hilarity at it's best!
Moving into volume 2 of the Pride Edition, Party Favorz is bringing in some of the finest electro-pop of the year. I kept this on the mainstream side, with some definite heavy hitters and you can expect more of the same on the second part of this BPMesque edition to be released sometime next week. I'll be following up with a happy house set on Friday and the second installment of Gay Anthems on Sunday. I wasn't kidding when I said I'll fill your iPods up in June because this goes on until we get to the official Pride celebrations in San Francisco and New York on the weekend of the 27th. The City of Angels is having their 40th Anniversary of Pride this weekend with a HUGE appearance by NOH8. In fact, the campaign is inviting EVERYONE to join them in the parade on June 13th. So if you want to be part of something historic, head on over to https://www.noh8campaign.com/event/march-in-the-la-pride-parade-with-noh8-updated to get all the details for making your mark. Be out, be proud, we are on the verge of something REALLY BIG and what better way to tell your grandchildren, that you were a part of it. Many of you that live in and around the ATL, already know that once again our Pride festivities have been pushed into early October. Last year it was over Halloween weekend and this year it's been moved up to the weekend of National Coming Out Day. Originally from Texas, I'm used to the Pride celebrations taking place in June, which is symbolic of the historic Stonewall Riots in New York, on June 28, 1969. First, we were banned from the Piedmont Park because of the drought. Now that's it's rained so much you could fill a thousand Perez Hilton potholes and still have enough left over to water the park for 20 years, they're still using “protecting the park” as an excuse. Kind of reminds of the whole “protect the children” angle right wingnuts use against Marriage Equality. “What about the children” or “What about the grass” egh! Last time I checked, sod is pretty damn cheap. In fact, recently there was a huge billboard just off of 85-N advertising it. I don't know what else you could possibly be protecting. After all, isn't the park there for everyone to enjoy, not just look at? In my opinion, the Pride committee is just pandering to a well-heeled older crowd, that just happen to be its biggest donors. Obviously, early October provides more ‘acceptable' temperatures for them to be out and about. Sweetie, if you can't take the heat, stay home and let everyone else enjoy Hell's Kitchen. I know, I know Pride can pretty much be celebrated anytime. However, considering that the ATL was just voted the “gayest” city in the United States and President Obama just designated June as National LGBT Month, why is it that this city can't live up to its reputation as the leading gay megatropolis in the southeast? Since I'm not on the committee, I'll digress and let them do whatever they need to, in order to fill their coffers. At the end of the day, the ATL has been my adopted home since 2001 and I absolutely love it here; so I have no other choice but to accept the things I can't change. Now that doesn't mean that everyone else can't get their Pride on, which is why I continue to focus on bringing you the best in Pride this month and every year. Even though this is only my third year doing this online, I've actually been doing this since 1999, which feels like an eternity! So get up, stand up and be counted. Which reminds me; did you fill out the Census form? Honey, if that thing is still laying around, fill it out and drop it in the mail. Trust me, they'll still take it. Make sure you mark “gay” as your status and include your significant other as well. That's just another way of letting the government know we're here, we're queer, DEAL WITH IT! That's about all I have for today. I'm pretty sure I'll climb up on my soapbox once again in an upcoming post. For now, stay safe, use a condom and have fun!

QNews: get involved in your community! HRC is looking for new panel members. Also, can you guess which political wife is now supporting gay marriage? Now when will the Obamas be in to have their NoH8 photos taken? Is lesbian imagery in clothing a thing of the past? Rainbow Rumors: Charlie reviews AfterEllen's First Lesbian/Bi People's Choice Awards. Tyra Banks brings up the topic "Is Gay the New Black?". Charlie wants you to check out a new gallery showing queer content art in San Francisco. Interview: Debra Walker - Lesbian candidate for Supervisor of District 6! Ms. Walker dishes on what's going on in the community and what her plans are for the future of District 6.
This is a re-post of Kristine W's original induction into the Diva Hall of Fame from 2011. Also, I went ahead and re-published an interview I did with her from June 1, 2009. At the time, you'll notice her response to marriage equality was a bit flippant if not dismissive based on her own past experience. Given the recent exchange with Perez Hilton and Carrie Prejean the Miss California contestant for Miss America (marriage should be between one man and one woman argument), I thought re-phrasing the question in light of her past association with the pageant would be appropriate. Since this interview was conducted in written communication and took a long time for response, I did not submit any follow-up questions for clarification. Nevertheless, to be on the wrong side of an issue when your entire career is based on the loyal devotion from the gay community, I think it would have been entirely appropriate to pursue this line of questioning. Sadly, I didn't have the balls nor was I wanting to put her in a position of having to defend something she likely wasn't well informed on. Subsequently, her position evolved as she became more aware of the issue and it's importance to gay families and even joined the NOH8 campaign. Could it be that it was because she recognized her faux pas or was it just a way to deflect her recent comments in the interview? We'll never know but I don't doubt her sincerity. Hello Kristine, my name is Keith W. from the Party Favorz blog. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule for this interview. I have compiled a list of questions that I would like to ask you and several more from your fans. So, let's get this started. PF: First, I'd like to know how it is that a former Miss Washington goes on to become the toast of Las Vegas and now the ultimate diva of dance and the darling of the gay community? In other words, at what point in your life did you decide this is really what you wanted to do? KW: Hi Keith: I worked my tail off doing thousands of shows 6 nights a week on various stages in Vegas and around the globe to pay my rent. Opportunities came my way while I out there grinding it out show by show. It is very hard work. I have always known I wanted to be a working musician, songwriter performer. I am the fourth generation of performers in my family. PF: In 1996, my ex and I were about to go on a much-needed vacation to the Bahamas. Prior to leaving, I had just received my latest issue of OUT magazine. In it was a review of “Land of the Living” which praised your work but stopped short of calling you “the second coming”.
