At Spirit Fest USA in Dulles, Virginia, we sat down with Vanessa Anseloni from the Spiritist Society of Virginia for a conversation that bridged neuroscience, spirituality, and service to humanity. What we discovered was a movement dedicated to teaching, healing, and inspiring...rooted in Spiritism, a philosophy and science exploring our nature, origins, and destiny as immortal beings. Vanessa, a neuroscientist and psychologist, shared how the Society blends rigorous study with heart-centered practice, offering free programs for children, teens, and adults. From lessons on emotional intelligence to outreach for the homeless in Washington, D.C., their mission is grounded in compassion and inclusivity, welcoming people of all faiths and backgrounds. We dive deep into:What Spiritism really is and how it connects the physical and spiritual realmsThe groundbreaking MRI research revealing the “spiritual brain”Why mastering your emotional intelligence is essential before deep spiritual workThe Society's powerful outreach programs, and why kids play a central roleMediumship in your DNA: the science and history behind this innate human giftHow Spiritist Parenting, Kardec Radio, and the Spiritist Magazine are helping spread light globallyAlong the way, Vanessa shares fascinating stories, like asking her spirit guides for help during her master's degree exams, and waking with exactly the information she needed. We also explore how Spiritist lessons for children (including wisdom from Benjamin Franklin's 13 virtues!) are shaping the next generation of compassionate, conscious leaders. This episode is a reminder that spirituality isn't about abandoning reason; it's about aligning the mind and heart to better serve yourself, your community, and the world. Links & Resources: Spiritist Society of Virginia Free Apps: Kardec Radio, Spiritist Magazine, Spiritist ParentingThe Spirit's Book by Allan Kardec Kardec Radio – 24/7 international spiritual programming If you've ever wondered how science, mediumship, and volunteer service can come together to create real change...this is an episode you won't want to miss.Subscribe, Rate & Review! Reformed Brotherhood | Sound Doctrine, Systematic Theology, and Brotherly Love

In this episode of the Reformed Brotherhood, Tony Arsenal and Jesse Schwamb take a deep dive into the power and importance of personal testimonies. Starting with their own faith journeys, they share how God's providence and grace have shaped their lives, from childhood faith to adulthood. Tony reflects on his conversion as a teenager and the profound changes that followed, while Jesse recounts the blessing of knowing Jesus from a young age and the role his parents played in nurturing his faith. Together, they explore the beauty of God's work in every stage of life, emphasizing that all testimonies, no matter how different, point to the same faithful God. The conversation highlights the transformational nature of faith and the importance of remembering and sharing how God has worked in life. Tony and Jesse encourage listeners to reflect on their own journeys and to share their stories of grace with others. They emphasize that testimonies are not the gospel itself but are powerful tools for pointing people to the gospel and encouraging others in their faith. The hosts also discuss the significance of ministering to children and cultivating childlike faith. They reflect on how simple faith can lead to profound spiritual truths and encourage parents, teachers, and those in children's ministry to continue planting seeds of the gospel. The episode serves as a reminder to remember God's faithfulness, share testimonies with others, and celebrate the unique ways God works in each of our lives. Key Points: The Power of Testimonies: Sharing personal stories of faith helps encourage others and highlights God's providence and grace in our lives. Childlike Faith: The importance of nurturing faith in children and the beauty of their simple yet profound trust in God. God's Providence: Reflecting on how God's hand guides us through life, even in ways we may not realize until we look back. Remembering and Sharing: Testimonies are not the gospel itself, but they are valuable tools for pointing others to Christ and reminding ourselves of God's faithfulness. Encouraging Faith Conversations: The hosts challenge listeners to share their testimonies with others and reflect on what God is currently doing in their lives. Questions for Reflection: How has God's providence been evident in your life when you look back on your faith journey? What role have others played in nurturing your faith, and how can you encourage others in their walk with Christ? When was the last time you shared your testimony with someone? What impact did it have? How can you cultivate a childlike faith and sense of wonder in your relationship with God? What is one way you can minister to children or younger believers to help them grow in their faith?

In this powerful message, we're reminded of Jesus' profound words: 'Let not your heart be troubled.' Drawing from John 14, we explore the deep significance of trusting God amidst life's storms. The story of Jesus calming the sea in Mark 4 beautifully illustrates this trust, challenging us to remain peaceful even when circumstances seem dire. We're encouraged to recognize the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, our constant source of peace and strength. This lesson invites us to renew our minds, focusing on God's promises rather than our problems. By doing so, we can cultivate an unshakeable faith that withstands life's trials, becoming a powerful witness to those around us. Let's embrace the peace Christ offers and learn to be 'untroubled in our troubles,' transforming our thought life and deepening our relationship with God.

In this conversation, you'll discover:• How the Law of Reflections reveals that your most toxic relationships are mirrors of how you treat yourself - in areas you probably don't even realize• Why the universe literally creates villains in your life - and the shocking reason this built-in system is actually design ed to save you• The dark energetic rituals you're accidentally performing - and how leaving bad reviews creates karmic cycles that destroy your own lifeHave you ever noticed how the people who trigger you most are often reflecting back something you can't quite see in yourself?I've been fascinated lately by this idea that our external world operates like a mirror - not in some superficial "thoughts become things" way, but in a much more precise, almost mathematical system. The Kabbalists understood this. They spoke of the divine matrix, where every soul encounter serves the evolution of consciousness. Eastern philosophy has always recognized that what we perceive as separate from us is actually extensions of our own awareness, playing out the unresolved patterns within our psyche. But here's what most spiritual teachings don't tell you: there are actual laws governing these reflections. Universal principles as reliable as physics, as predictable as chemistry. And when you understand how these laws work, you realize that nothing - absolutely nothing - shows up in your reality by accident. What if your most difficult relationships are actually assignments? What if the obstacles that feel like punishment are really the universe's way of showing you exactly where you still give your power away? What if every person who triggers you is offering you a glimpse of an unconscious belief that's ready to be healed?Today our guest is Alessandro Giannetti, a consciousness researcher who has spent decades mapping the precise mechanics of how universal laws operate in our daily lives. After discovering profound healing abilities as a child and navigating his own series of life-altering challenges, Alessandro developed scientifically-based methods for understanding the invisible forces that shape our reality - forces most people don't even know exist.Links from the episode:Show Notes: mindlove.com/414Join the Mind Love CollectiveSign up for The Morning Mind Love for short daily notes to wake up inspiredSupport Mind Love SponsorsSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

“But this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I will certainly bring my people back again from all the countries where I will scatter them in my fury. I will bring them back to this very city and let them live in peace and safety. They will be my people, and I will be their God. And I will give them one heart and one purpose: to worship me forever, for their own good and for the good of all their descendants. And I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never stop doing good for them. I will put a desire in their hearts to worship me, and they will never leave me. I will find joy doing good for them and will faithfully and wholeheartedly replant them in this land. - Jeremiah 32:37-41Jeremiah is a book not for the faint of heart. It's a big book, 52 chapters and with a greater word count than any other book in the Bible. It's a troubling book - the warnings from a prophet of God telling people what is going to befall them if they don't repent and turn back to the God of their ancestors. It's a sad book as it tells of the destruction of Jerusalem. There's no doubt, Jeremiah is a behemoth of an Old Testament book. But, it's not a book to ignore by any means. At its heart, even with the difficult things in the book, Jeremiah is still a book about hope. It's still a book about the faithfulness of God. The passage I read at the beginning from Jeremiah 32 makes that clear. We learn so much about God in this book - it's truly a rich, theological text. But like I said, it's not for the faint of heart so to help us navigate this book today is Dr. Jerry Hwang, author of the ESV commentary on Jeremiah. Doable Discipleship is a Saddleback Church podcast produced and hosted by Jason Wieland. In this sermon, Pastor Devin explores the Christian principle of humility through Philippians 2:5-11. He emphasizes that humility is not natural to the human condition, which tends toward pride and self-focus. The pastor explains that Jesus exemplified perfect humility by emptying himself, taking the form of a servant, and submitting to death on a cross despite being fully God. This humility led to his exaltation by God.Humility is not natural to humans but is essential for Christians as it was exemplified by Jesus throughout His life and death.True humility begins in the heart as an inner disposition, not just outward actions or a soft exterior.Jesus, though fully God, emptied Himself by taking the form of a servant and submitting to death on a cross. In God's upside-down kingdom, the way up is down - those who humble themselves will be exalted by God at the proper time.Humility requires actively crucifying pride and recognizing that everything we have comes from God.Support the show
