In this episode, JClay receives an intuitive Double Your Income Energy Scan from Daniel. JClay is a spiritual rap artist and one of the leading voices in the spiritual hip-hop movement. With a background as both a NASA engineer and music producer, his songs carry the precision of a scientist and the heart of a healer. Every lyric he writes is intentional—designed to raise consciousness, release fear, and bring listeners back to peace. His music merges spoken-word depth with mainstream-quality beats, forming a unique sound praised by psychologists, music professionals, and fans alike. Holistic Psychologist Dr. Nicole LePera calls his work “remarkable,” and one fan put it simply: “If Jesus rapped, it would be this.” JClay’s critically celebrated debut album, IAMNOBODY, IAMSOMEONE, is widely regarded as a healing tool, with listeners reporting breakthroughs in mental health just by playing it on repeat. His live performances bring audiences to tears, not because of sadness—but because they finally feel seen, heard, and free. His new single Humble Yo Self continues his mission to heal through music, using powerful lyricism and spiritual insight to reveal the truth behind what it really means to humble oneself in the presence of the divine. What do you do with the anger that keeps replaying in your mind? The conversations. The injustice. The words you wish you could say back.In this episode, John Ortberg looks at the remarkable life of Saint Patrick — a man who was kidnapped, enslaved for six years, and yet chose a path almost no one would expect.Instead of revenge, Patrick returned to the people who enslaved him with a message of love and forgiveness. His life raises a hard question for all of us:What do we do with the pain that makes condemnation feel justified?John explores two deeply practical practices that help us escape the prison of bitterness:• Stop ruminating about the person who hurt you• Stop gossiping about themThese small decisions can redirect the entire trajectory of your heart.Because the voice you rehearse in your mindwill eventually shape the life you live. And the way of Jesus — even in the face of deep injustice — is the way of blessing.

AI is not the problem. The real question is what it may be replacing in your business and your life. As business owners, many of us use AI, automation, and tools to save time and simplify work. The tools themselves are not the issue. The issue is discernment. Technology can support your work, or it can slowly replace the very things that keep you grounded and led by God. In this episode, we talk about how to use AI wisely without allowing convenience to turn into dependence. You will learn how to keep God's voice and direction at the center of your business while still using modern tools to support your work. When your business is truly God-led, no tool can replace prayer, discernment, and obedience. In this episode we want to remind you that you were never meant to carry it all. We've learned, more times than we can count, that trying to hold everything together, control every outcome, and analyze every “what if” only leads to exhaustion.Eventually, there comes a moment when you realize you can't do it anymore. And that's often where letting go begins.Letting go isn't giving up.It's choosing to trust the One who already knows and holds it all.So we invite you to ask God what He's inviting you to release, to let go of…and trust Him to take care of it.Music: “River,” an original piano piece written and performed by Benjamin WaggonerWe would like to pray for you. Have you been through some sh*t? Or maybe you're in it now.If you feel stuck, or that there's stagnant energy in your system that needs some unblocking, Breathwork can be a way of getting MOVING.It can help you to finally let go.Perhaps you're not getting what you want in sex and intimacy, or maybe you just feel empty a lot of the time and don't know what to do about it.Or maybe you could write a PhD on your “issues” but you know you need to go beyond talking about it.Whether you're still knotted up with sexual shame, or you're married and trying to figure out why it's so hard for you to lead his wife, or you're dating going into freeze — or you've got patterns around money and finance, the root cause is often the same:Unprocessed "stuff."Carrying around tension is like walking through life weighed down by a backpack full of rocks. You don't always realize it's there until you're freed from it.Plus, women are magnetically drawn to men who are relaxed and grounded in their bodies. That relaxed, open state doesn't just happen, and it's not something you're born with. There are things you can do to get there. When it comes to processing trauma, shame, or just general stuckness, talking has limited efficacy. That's part of why you may not have gotten the results you were looking for through talk therapy or couples counseling. It's usually when we work the body (hi, somatic therapy) that we truly experience breakthroughs. Or as my guest, Luke Adler, puts it:"The beauty of breathwork is that you add tremendous fuel and bypass the mind."Memorable quotes from this episode:"We men have been acculturated to be thickened up.""It made clear where things were really working in my life and where they weren't.""Whatever system is stagnant — it's going to move.""People's pace needs to be honored."---Work with usReady to go deeper than the podcast and take action? Why You Can't Let Go of Control (And What It's Really Protecting) with Kati Morton

So many moms tell me some version of this: “I know I need to let go of control… but I can't.” And here's what I want you to hear right away — that doesn't make you controlling. It makes you someone who cares deeply. You're not trying to micromanage everyone's lives. You're trying to prevent disappointment. You're trying to keep the peace. You're trying to make sure nothing falls through the cracks. Because when you're the one who sees all the moving pieces, it feels irresponsible not to step in. In this powerful conversation, I sit down with licensed marriage and family therapist Kati Morton to unpack what control is really about. And what we uncover might surprise you. Control isn't a personality flaw. It's often a safety strategy. Kati helps us understand why control can feel like agency — like the only way to avoid helplessness. We also dive into how people-pleasing quietly becomes control in disguise, and what it actually takes to stop carrying the emotional weight of everyone else's feelings. If you've ever thought, “If I don't handle it, no one will,” this episode is for you. In This Episode, We Talk About: Why letting go of control feels unsafe (even when you logically want to) How people-pleasing turns into subtle control in relationships The connection between anxiety, perfectionism, and emotional weight Why control can feel like the only way to avoid conflict or disappointment The deeper relationship patterns that keep you stuck What healthy boundaries actually look like in real life Why This Conversation Matters When you're constantly managing everyone's moods, schedules, and reactions, you don't just feel tired — you feel responsible for everything. That emotional load is heavy. And the harder you try to keep everything steady, the more pressure builds inside you. This episode helps you see that your need for control isn't random or irrational. It developed for a reason. Understanding that reason is what creates space for change. Because once you realize what control is protecting, you can start building something stronger than control: emotional safety, boundaries, and real partnership. "Eating disorders are about control." It's one of those phrases that gets repeated so often it starts to sound like an unquestionable truth. But when you sit with it for more than a few seconds, it gets messy fast. Because if eating disorders are "about control," then recovery is often framed as the opposite: letting go of control. And that's where a lot of people understandably get stuck. That advice is usually offered in a vague, almost dismissive way, as if the problem is that you're gripping too tightly, overthinking everything, or refusing to loosen your hold. The implication is that if you could just relax, stop trying so hard, and surrender a bit, recovery would naturally fall into place. Which, let's be honest, is not how this works. Tweetable Quotes "People love to use the phrase 'Eating disorders are about control', but it's really vague. Like being "in control" is good, and being "out of control" is bad. - Rachelle Heinemann "When we say release control, we mean loosening rigidity… but we're not asking to lose structure." - Rachelle Heinemann "When we talk about control and loosening control, we do not mean to enter into chaos." - Rachelle Heinemann "What we're asking people to do when we ask for increased flexibility is to take away the protection against anxiety. So we have to understand this is not just a matter of asking your clients to just loosen the reins a bit. It's something that is going to feel internally, very, very uncomfortable." - Rachelle Heinemann "Ultimately, when we use the term control… it's only problematic when it really constricts your life." - Rachelle Heinemann "Recovery… is about widening that bandwidth." - Rachelle Heinemann "We are increasing your capacity to experience whatever it might be… without flooding, without impulsivity." - Rachelle Heinemann Resources Join my FREE webinar happening on March 18th: Brave on Purpose! Are you struggling to move forward in your God-led business, ministry, or calling? Do you feel like you are circling the same mountain, praying for a breakthrough, yet nothing seems to shift? In this episode, we talk about what God may actually be asking you to let go of. Control. The need to manage every outcome. The need to see the full plan before you take the next step. The pressure to make everything happen in your own strength. You will be challenged to stop waiting for certainty and start letting go of your grip. Real growth begins when you release control and choose obedience. In this episode of Unf*ck Your Relationships, I'm unpacking trauma bonds, why smart, self-aware women stay in relationships that are hurting them, and why leaving can feel terrifying even when you know it's unhealthy. This isn't about weakness or lack of awareness, it's about nervous system conditioning and intermittent reinforcement keeping you hooked. We talk about why intensity gets mistaken for intimacy, how relief after pain becomes addictive, and why information alone doesn't break trauma bonds, attachment does. I break down the difference between love and survival wiring, why self-blame keeps you stuck, and how to start detaching from the fantasy without shaming yourself or bypassing the grief. The real question isn't “Do I feel bonded?”, it's “Is this person actually safe for me?”. If you realise you've been trying harder in relationships that require you to abandon yourself, this episode is your permission slip to stop.WORK WITH MICHELLE:Join THE CONNECTED WOMAN, a course for the woman who wants to go from anxious & self-abandoning in relationships to secure, confident and unf*ckwithable: https://michellepanning.com/the-connected-womanSign up for THE EXPERIENCE, an exclusive 12-month mentorship experience where you go all in on YOU (aka, you get direct access to me as a mentor, access to every offer I run over your year, and MORE): https://michellepanning.com/the-experienceCONNECT WITH MICHELLE:Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/michellepanningWebsite: http://www.michellepanning.com

Have you ever pursued something with your whole heart, only to arrive and realize, “This isn't it”? In this episode of The Driven Introvert Podcast, we're diving deep into what it looks like to pivot when a long-held dream no longer fits. If you've ever struggled with letting go of a passion, project, or even a piece of your identity, this one's for you. We're talking all about navigating identity crisis with honesty, courage, and faith.I share a personal story of falling in love with writing, from publishing my first short stories online, to chasing writing prizes, to finally releasing a book of fiction. For a long time, writing wasn't just something I did, it was who I believed I was. But what happens when that no longer rings true? What do you do when what once gave you joy and purpose now feels like a closed chapter?Navigating identity crisis can feel like losing a part of yourself. But sometimes, it's the very invitation God uses to usher you into something new. In this episode, I reflect on how I've learned to discern the difference between quitting and releasing. Sometimes, walking away from something, even something good, is exactly what creates space for your next “yes.”We also explore insights from The Next Right Thing by Emily P. Freeman. I unpack a powerful story about chasing achievements that don't fulfill us, and the quiet realization that more isn't always better. Sometimes, success can still leave us feeling empty. That's when we have to ask the deeper questions: Is this still right for me? Who am I now? And where is God leading me next?If you've been wrestling with questions about your path, your passions, or your purpose, this episode offers space to breathe and reflect. Whether you're stepping away from a career, a dream, a creative pursuit, or even a role you once cherished, I want to remind you: it's okay to change. In fact, it might be the most courageous thing you can do.Inside this episode:My journey from aspiring writer to discovering a new callingThe emotional toll of quitting something tied to your identityHow to know when it's time to let goA soul-centered perspective on decision-making and surrenderReflection questions to help you assess your next stepRemember, navigating identity crisis isn't about abandoning your past, it's about making peace with who you've been, so you can fully step into who you're becoming.

Today on the podcast I am joined by the legendary Stuart Trevor - founder of AllSaints. And now his latest project Stuart Trevor.I wanted to speak to Stuart because this podcast is about living before you run out of hours - and Stuart embodies this more than most. He started All Saints in the 90s and built it into a cult brand - dressing rockstars like Kings of Leon, The Who, Depeche Mode, Placebo and Destinys Child and Gwen Stefani - at its peak it had over 200 stores worldwide across 25 countries, with hundreds of millions of revenue. But he went on to sell it. Stuart had previously been scouted by two of the biggest fashion brands at the time - Paul Smith and Reiss - and ended up joining Reiss and working under David Reiss' tutelage for a while until he plucked the courage up to start his own brand. The shop has changed a lot now, it's a world away from the All Saints that Trevor poured his love and soul into - so this is a story of building what should exist, letting go, and moving on to a new passion in your next chapter. It's also a story of what happens when you seek to optimise JOY and FUN and not just productivity and efficiency. Much needed in today's world. Hosted on Acast. When someone hurts us or repeatedly creates conflict in our lives, we often hear the same advice online: “Cut them out.”Remove them. Block them. Never speak to them again. But cutting someone out doesn't always free us.Sometimes it only means that they still live in our thoughts — still triggering anger, resentment, and pain whenever we remember them.In this talk, we explore a deeper and more peaceful alternative: letting go.Letting go doesn't mean approving of harmful behavior. It doesn't mean allowing someone to control your life. And it doesn't mean you must keep someone close who brings chaos into your world. It means releasing the struggle to change them.It means allowing people to be who they are while protecting your own peace. It means leaving the door open without letting someone control the course of your life.In this podcast, we explore:• Why trying to change people often creates more conflict• The difference between cutting someone out and truly letting go• How acceptance can sometimes inspire change more than pressure• Why the “middle path” is often wiser than anger or indifference• How to love someone — even from a distance — without losing yourselfSometimes the most powerful thing we can do is stop fighting. When we release the need to control others, we free both them and ourselves.Love can remain.Peace can return. And life can move forward. If this message resonates with you, consider sharing it with someone who may need it.Please enjoy other episodes where I share meditation techniques, tips and spiritual lessons from around the world for peaceful and stress-free living.
