In this episode, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Hart Hagerty, founder of HART Jewelry, to dive into her journey of creativity, travel, and building a brand that truly reflects who she is. We talk about growing up in creative households and how that shaped both of us as parents now. Hart shares her early adventures traveling throughout Asia, the spark that led her to launch HART Jewelry back in 2016, and how the brand has evolved into a customizable, high quality, and soul-boosting line that lets people create pieces unique to them. We get into the behind the scenes of jewelry - what "gold-plated" really means, whether "waterproof jewelry" exists, and what to look for if you want pieces that last. We also explore the joy of retail done differently, from the fun in-store experience of building your own pieces, to the bigger lesson of letting your business grow alongside your own evolving interests. This is a conversation about creativity, craftsmanship, and following what fascinates you - in life, in work, and in style. This episode may contain paid endorsements and advertisements for products and services. Want to hear about a specific topic on the show? Text us and we will consider it :)Ready to transform your manifestation practice? Discover why the power of belief might be the missing piece in your personal growth journey. This powerful module dives deep into one of the most challenging yet rewarding aspects of manifestation—aligning your beliefs with your desires. While this concept might seem abstract at first, with practice, it becomes second nature. The key revelation? When your conscious desires clash with your subconscious beliefs about worthiness, you'll inevitably sabotage your own success. We explore a particularly common pattern among women entrepreneurs: the deep-seated feeling of unworthiness that derails manifestation efforts. No matter how clearly you visualize abundance, if you don't believe you deserve it, you'll find ways to push it away. The good news? These limiting beliefs aren't permanent. They're simply stories we tell ourselves that can be rewritten.Through practical exercises like identifying and transforming your three most restrictive limiting beliefs, you'll learn to replace thoughts like "I'll never be successful" with empowering alternatives such as "I'm building success every day." This isn't just positive thinking—it's rewiring your mental pathways to create alignment between what you want and what you believe is possible for you.Ready to stop self-sabotaging and start manifesting? Practice these belief-reframing techniques daily, start with small wins to build your manifestation muscles, and watch as your results accelerate with each success. Your journey to authentic, aligned manifestation begins with believing you deserve everything you desire. In this thought-provoking episode of the Voxology Podcast, Mike and Tim tackle the implications of “thoughts and prayers” in moments of societal crisis to addressing the pervasive dehumanization in modern culture. Mike and Tim challenge listeners to rethink how faith shapes engagement with justice and truth. Through examples like prophetic critique in scripture and the importance of naming reality amidst propaganda, the episode offers actionable insights for embodying Jesus' teachings in a culture dominated by division and misinformation. The conversation starts with the pressing challenges of navigating life in a post-truth world while standing for justice and truth. The conversation delves into the intersections of faith and politics, exploring how Christians can respond to cultural issues with cruciformity and humility. Drawing from scripture, theology, and practical insights, the hosts reflect on the role of the church in society, the importance of lamenting injustice, and fostering hope through communal witness. Send us a textWhat makes some children overcome unimaginable trauma while others struggle to recover? Is resilience something you're born with, or can it be cultivated? These questions drive our fascinating conversation with Dr. Nicole Wilke, author and Director of Research at Christian Alliance for Orphans.Drawing from her extraordinary background—growing up in a family that fostered 70 children and personally experiencing severe health challenges as a teenager—Nicole brings professional expertise and lived experience to this critical topic. Her insights challenge conventional wisdom, revealing that resilience is less "bouncing back from" and more "growing through" adversity. The heart of resilience, Nicole explains, lies in relationships. "When I'm weak, I can borrow from your strength," she shares, highlighting how humans were designed for interdependence rather than independence. This perspective transforms how we approach trauma recovery, shifting focus from individual grit to supportive connections. For children who've experienced separation, abuse or neglect, healing happens primarily through consistent, attuned relationships that communicate worth and belonging. What's particularly striking is how science and faith align in understanding resilience. Nicole unpacks research showing that spirituality correlates with better recovery outcomes, while biblical principles like finding purpose in suffering parallel scientific concepts of post-traumatic growth. This intersection offers practical strategies for parents, social workers, and anyone walking alongside vulnerable children. The conversation takes a powerful turn when addressing systems change, advocating for family-based solutions over institutional care and locally-driven approaches ________Travel on International Mission, meet local leadership and work alongside them. Learning to take business a little less personally. As Bob admits, “Every knockback felt like a blow to the heart” in those early days. You'll hear tales from Dublin to Delhi, and Amsterdam to Atlanta - all reinforcing a simple truth: business growth often comes from the unexpected. Whether it's a three-hour wine-fuelled lunch in France, or a client mix-up that sparks a brand-new idea, there's wisdom in the unplanned. There's practical insight here too - around investing in personal development, taking time to reset, and remembering that culture, connection, and not taking yourself too seriously are all part of a sustainable leadership journey.Whether you're leading a business, growing a team, or reflecting on your own path, this one's for you. What's the biggest lesson you've learned in your own business journey? If you need to hire 1 person, hire a team of people, or transform your business through Talent or Technical Services, Insight Global's team of 30,000 people around the world have the hustle and grit to deliver. www.InsightGlobal.com/LearningLeader Notes: Key Learnings The Mad Scientist Emotional Profile – High achievers typically have both high positive and high negative affect. "Hustlers, hard workers, strivers, entrepreneurs, ambitious people, they're in that quadrant of high positive, high negative affect." This creates intensity but requires management of negative emotions. Dangerous Negative Affect Management – People try to manage high negative affect through alcohol, excessive internet use/pornography, and workaholism. "The isms, the addictions, they're almost all negative affect management techniques." Two Best Ways to Manage Negative Affect: Faith, Spirituality, Philosophy - "Every day, go deep" into transcendent practices Physical Exercise - "Go pick up heavy things" - resistance training moderates negative emotions Arthur's 4:30 AM Protocol – Wakes at 4:30, works out 4:45-5:45, attends mass 6:30-7:00, then has high-protein breakfast with dark coffee at 7:45 for 4 hours of peak creative focus. "I get four hours of creative concentration with maximum dopamine." Exercise Reduces Unhappiness, Doesn't Create Happiness – "Working out hard... moderates negative affect. It makes you less unhappy" rather than directly increasing positive emotions. The Failure Journal Method – Write down failures/disappointments, return after 3 weeks to note learnings, return after 2 more months to identify good things that resulted. This installs learning in the prefrontal cortex rather than letting it "float around limbically." Early Success Can Be Dangerous – Scholars rejected for early research grants outperformed those with early success. "Much better is when you do the work and build yourself up... be a wholesaler before you become a retailer." Management Doesn't Provide Flow – "There's one kind of job where you don't get flow, and that's management... you're getting jerked from thing to thing to thing." Being CEO was "satisfying, but not enjoyable." Intelligence Must Serve Others – "Intelligence is just another gift... whether or not it makes you happier depends on whether or not you're using it to make other people happier." Denigrating others for lower intelligence indicates misusing your gift. The Arrival Fallacy – Olympic gold medalists often experience depression after winning because positive emotion comes from progress toward goals, not achieving them. "Your positive emotion doesn't exist to give you a permanent good day." Two Midlife Crisis Solutions: Focus on what age gives you rather than takes away Choose subtraction over addition - appreciate what you no longer have to do Making Changes Stick Requires Three Elements: Understand the science - Know why something works Change your habits - Actually implement different behaviors Teach it - Explain it to others to cement learning in the prefrontal cortex The Happiness Formula – "Use things, love people, worship the divine" instead of the natural impulses to "love things, use people, and worship yourself." Multi-generational Living Benefits – Arthur lives with adult children and grandchildren: "The research is clear that the closer you are to your grandchildren... the better it is for everybody." Quotes: "I get four hours of creative concentration with maximum dopamine in my prefrontal cortex... ordinarily I would get an hour and a half, two hours of real clarity." "The isms, the addictions, they're almost all negative affect management techniques." "Working out hard... makes you less unhappy. The research is very clear." "Being the boss isn't that fun. It just isn't." "I have carefully accounted for all of my days of happiness. They add up to 14." (Emir of Cordoba) "What's first prize in a pie eating contest? The answer is pie. So I hope you like pie." "Beware the corner office boys. Beware the corner office." "Use things, love people, worship the divine." "Watch one, do one, teach one." (Harvard Medical School) "Don't trust your impulses. Your impulses are to love things, use people, and worship yourself." Life Lessons Develop Daily Discipline Early - A Consistent morning routine with exercise and spiritual practice creates optimal brain chemistry for peak performance throughout the day. Manage High Achievement Personality - If you're a driven person, recognize you likely have high negative affect that needs healthy management through exercise and transcendent practices. Reframe Career Setbacks - Early failures often build stronger foundations than early successes. Use disappointments as learning opportunities through systematic reflection. Question Management Ambitions - Consider whether you enjoy management or just want the status/money. Management roles inherently provide less flow and enjoyment. Use Intelligence to Serve Others - Your cognitive gifts should lift others up, not put them down. Intelligence without service leads to unhappiness. Focus on Progress, Not Arrival - Derive satisfaction from forward momentum in meaningful work rather than achieving specific goals that won't provide lasting happiness. Embrace What Age Gives - In life transitions, focus on new capabilities and freedoms rather than what you're losing or leaving behind. Teach What You Learn - The most effective way to cement new habits and insights is to explain them to others. Teaching accelerates your own learning. Choose Subtraction - Happiness often comes from eliminating negative elements (bad meetings, toxic relationships) rather than adding more positive ones. Build Multi-Generational Relationships - Prioritize time with family across generations. The research strongly supports benefits for all parties. Exercise for Mental Health - View physical training as medication for negative emotions rather than just physical fitness. Cultivate Transcendent Practices - Whether religious, philosophical, or spiritual, daily engagement with something larger than yourself moderates negative emotions and provides meaning. Nobody wants to look at the migrant children organ transplants. Their constructed reality is not real. The horror is not fiction. The moment you see it, you admit it exists. Can the world allow something so monstrous? In the house across the street or in the alley out back. All of the same crimes were happening in the past, we just weren't aware. Turning a blind eye to evil never means it will go away. Things won't be fine until we make them that way. You can wish this horror doesn't exist, but it does. Judges 19 tells one of the darkest stories in Israel's history, showing the collapse of morality when people reject God's authority. The sin of Gibeah mirrors Sodom and Gomorrah, with rampant homosexuality, violence, and the abuse of hospitality. This passage shows how corruption spreads from priests to homes to government, leaving a nation without a moral compass. The warning is clear for today: when family breaks down, conscience is ignored, and sexual sin is normalized, society crumbles. Yet the message of hope remains—through Christ, even those bound by sin can be washed, sanctified, and made new.

Send us a textThis episode dives deep into the Pisces lunar eclipse and how its energy pulls back the curtain on illusions, overindulgence, and the fantasies we've been clinging to. I share a client's story (with her permission) that perfectly captures the moment when the fairy tale fades, and reality shows up with clarity you can't ignore. Pisces is the dreamer of the zodiac—but during an eclipse, the dream collides with truth. We'll explore what this eclipse means for you: where wishful thinking has been clouding your judgment, where hypocrisy may be hiding in plain sight, and how sudden realizations can set you free. If you've ever held onto a story that felt magical but didn't quite match reality, this episode will help you understand why the eclipse is asking you to wake up—and how to move forward with more honesty, alignment, and spiritual clarity.

In this episode, David explores the concepts of time perception, sensory substitution, and livewiring, revealing how the brain rewires itself, why perception is an illusion, and whether humans could one day unlock a sixth or seventh sense. In this episode, Hala and David will discuss: (00:00) Introduction (01:26) Childhood Fall and Slowed Time Perception (06:46) Exploring the Concept of Umwelt (10:33) Animal Senses and Human Nature Limitations (16:46) Brain Plasticity vs. Livewiring Explained (27:50) Sensory Substitution and the Future of Senses (36:29) The Psychology of Why We Dream (42:02) The Intersection Between Science and Religion (48:47) The Future of Livewired Technology (51:39) AI vs. Livewired Systems and Human Potential David Eagleman is a neuroscientist at Stanford University, a bestselling author, and the founder of Neosensory and BrainCheck. He is the writer and presenter of the international PBS series The Brain with David Eagleman and The Creative Brain on Netflix. Co-authored with Dr. Peter McCullough, their explosive book Vaccines: Mythology, Ideology, and Reality reveals how infectious disease mortality plummeted long before vaccines, thanks to sanitation, nutrition, and hygiene—not miracle shots. From 18th-century smallpox gambles to the COVID-19 mRNA frenzy, Leake exposes a 300-year saga of guesswork, profit-driven ideology, and suppressed truths. Discover parallels in medical zealotry, the liability shields protecting Big Pharma, and why questioning vaccines is branded heresy. In this episode, Jay sits down with author of Time, Myth and Matter, LD Deutsch, for a wide-ranging conversation about time, myth, consciousness, and the instability of reality itself. LD Deutsch shares her journey from precognitive dreams to the cutting edge of consciousness studies, weaving together threads of Jungian psychology, mythology, physics, and technology. Together, they explore: How myth and physics act as complementary ways of “reading” reality. The strange synchronicity between the I Ching and the birth of binary code. Why the Simulation Hypothesis functions more like a creation myth than a scientific theory. The paradox of time—eternalism versus presentism—and what it means for precognition. The role of synchronicity, archetypes, and trickster phenomena at the boundaries of the unknown. LD Deutsch's insights point to a deeper, underlying order where psyche and matter are inseparably linked—and where the stories we tell become the architectures of reality itself. ✨ Join the conversation and go deeper: Cosmosis Community on Patreon – ad-free episodes, monthly calls, private Discord, and more: CosmosisCommunity.com Cosmosis: UFOs & A New Reality – now streaming on Amazon, Apple TV, and multiple platforms: Cosmosis.Media Music for Cosmosis is by Michael Rubino.
