Der 1. FC Magdeburg macht in Kiel einen Riesenschritt in Richtung Klassenerhalt und braucht nun noch einen Punkt, um aus eigener Kraft sicher über die Ziellinie zu kommen - glänzende Ausgangsbedingungen vor dem letzten Spiel gegen Kaiserslautern, das wir natürlich in Ausgabe 405 vorbesprechen. Hâkk idâresinin kaldırılıp, halk idâresinin müslümânlara da sevdirilmeğe çalışıldığı şu cehâlet asrında; ekseriyetin İslâm dışı davranışlarına; “Bugünkü şartlarda ancak bu kadar olur.” diyerek kılıf bulup, İslâm'ın bazı şartlarda tam olarak yaşanamayacağı iddiâsını hâlleri ile çürütüp, asra yakın ömürlerinin, doğumundan i‘tibâren tamâmını, sünnete harfiyyen riâyet ederek geçirip, İslâm, fitnenin zirveye çıktığı devirlerde bile sünnete tam olarak ittibâ edilerek yaşanabilir ve kıyâmete kadar da yaşanacaktır diye hayatı ile bunu isbât etmiş bir âlî kadîrdir Hazret-i Sâmî (k.s.). Allâh (c.c.) dostlarının büyüklerinden bir zâtın ifâdesi ile “Asırların nâdir yetiştirdiği bir büyük velîdir” Hazret-i Sâmî (k.s.). 1950'li yılların başlarında İstanbul'a intikâllerinden sonra kendilerine Fahr-i Kâinat (s.a.v.) Efendimiz tarafından “MAHMÛD” ismi verilmiş ve kendileri icâzetli halîfeleri Adanalı Hacı Hasan Efendiye: “Fakire bundan sonra Mahmûd Sâmî denilmesini ihvâna bildiriniz; bize böyle emrolundu.” diye emir gereği büyük tebşîrâtı bildirirler. Çocuk yaşlarında muhterem anneleri kendilerini akrânlarıyla oynamak üzere dışarı gönderdiklerinde Hazret-i Sâmî (k.s.) Efendimiz ellerini dizlerinin üzerine koyup “tahiyyât” oturuşundaki gibi oturup, uzaklara gözlerini diker, devâmlı olarak düşünür, tefekkür ederler. Çünkü Allâh (c.c.)'ün Resûlü (s.a.v.) Efendimiz, Mi‘râc'da tahiyyâtta gibi oturmuşlardı. Bu sünneti ömürleri boyunca hep böyle sürdürdüler. Hiçbir zaman kendilerini bunun dışındaki bir şekilde otururken gören olmamıştır. “Neden arkadaşları ile oynamayıp oturduğu” sorulduğunda: “Biz oyun için yaratılmadık.” buyurmuşlardır. Talha bin Ubeydillâh (r.a.) İslâm'a ilk giren sekiz kişiden biridir. Ticâret için gittiği Bus-râ'da gördüğü bir râhipten Resûlullâh (s.a.v.) Efendimiz'in peygamber olacağını duydu. Mekke'ye dönünce Hz. Ebû Bekir (r.a.)'le gö-rüştü ve onun vâsıtasıyla müslüman oldu. Hz. Talha (r.a.), Hz. Zübeyr (r.a.) gibi Cen-net'le müjdelenen on kişiden biridir. Zengin olduğu için sadece canıyla değil, malıyla da İslâm'a hizmet etti. Onun bu cömertliği sebe-biyle Fahr-i Âlem (s.a.v.) Efendimiz kendisini hayırlı Talha, cömert Talha, bereketli Talha anlamında “Talhatü'l-hayr”, “Talhatü'l-cûd”, “Talhatü'l-feyyâz” diye övdü.Hz. Talha (r.a.) Uhud Gazvesi'nde, Efen-dimiz (s.a.v.)'in kayanın üzerine çıkması için onun kadem-i şerîfine omuz verdi. Resûlullâh (s.a.v.) bunun üzerine, “Talha, Cennet'i hak etti” buyurdu. O gün Hz. Talha (r.a.), sadece Resûlullâh (s.a.v.)'in taşın üzerine çıkmasına yardım etmedi. Bu savaşta kâfirler Peygam-ber (s.a.v.) Efendimiz'e iyice yaklaştığında, canlarını ortaya atarak onu koruyan birkaç yiğitten biri de Hz. Talha (r.a.) idi. Resûl-i Ek-rem (s.a.v.)'e savrulan bir kılıçtan onu koluy-la koruduğu için çolak kaldı. O gün kâfirlerle savaşırken ve Allâh'ın Resûlü (s.a.v.)'i düş-manların hücumundan korurken, vücuduna seksenden fazla kılıç, mızrak ve ok darbesi aldı. Canını, Peygamber (s.a.v.) uğrunda fedâ etmeye hazır olduğunu gösterdi. Bu sebeple Cennet'e girmeyi hak etti.Talha bin Ubeydillah (r.a.), Peygamber (s.a.v.) Hz. Ümmü Seleme (r.anhâ) İslâm ile şereflenen ilk müslümanlardan. Habeşistan ve Medine'ye hicret eden ilk kafilede yer almış, çilekeş bir İslâm mücâhidesidir. Hudeybiye antlaşmasından sonra gösterdiği dirayet ve fetanetiyle, Efendimiz (s.a.v.)'e verdiği fikri desteği ile tanınan bir annemiz. Zekâsı, soyu, güzelliği, iffeti ve nezâketiyle Resûlullâh (s.a.v.)'e aile olma şerefine eren bahtiyarlardandır. Medine'ye hicreti çok sıkıntılı oldu. Müşrik akrâbaları, zevcesi Hz. Ebû Seleme (r.a.)'in Hz. Ümmü Seleme (r.anhâ)'yı götürmesine müsaade etmeyip alıkoydular. Daha sonra Hz. Ümmü Seleme (r.anhâ)'da hicret etti. Uhud Savaşında Hz. Ebû Seleme (r.a.) yaralandı ve vefatından önce hanımı için duâ etti: “Allâh'ım! Ümmü Seleme'ye benden sonra daha hayırlı ve onu hor görmeyecek, incitmeyecek bir koca nasib et” dedi. Bir müddet sonra vefat etti. Fahr-i Kâinat (s.a.v.) Efendimiz onun gibi mücâhide bir hanım sahabîsinin dört çocuğu ile ortada kalmasına gönlü razı olmadı. Hicri 4. yılın şevval ayının sonlarında Resûlullâh (s.a.v.) ile evlendi.Hz. Ümmü Seleme (r.anhâ) annemiz asalet sahibi bir hanımefendi idi. Efendimiz (s.a.v.)'e karşı hep asîl davranışlar sergiledi. Hayatını zühd, takvâ ve ibâdetle geçirdi. Hanım sahabeler arasında fıkhı en iyi bilenlerdendi. Bilhassa hanımlarla ilgili meselelerde İslâm fıkhını en iyi bilen sahabeler arasında yer aldı. Hadis ilmine de çok büyük hizmetlerde bulundu. Hz. Ümmü Seleme (r.anhâ), hadis rivayetinde Hz. Aişe (r.anhâ) annemizden sonra ikinci sırayı aldı. Hz. Ümmü Seleme (r.anhâ) annemiz, hicri 61 yılında Medine-i Münevvere'de vefat etti. Bakî kabristanlığına defnedildi. Cenâb-ı Hâkk'tan şefaatlerini niyaz ederiz.(Mustafa Çelik, Fıkhu's Sahabe, c.2, 3. Uhud Gazvesi'nde münâfıklar, müslümanların mâneviyâtını bozmak için “Peygamber (s.a.v.) öldürüldü.” diye bir şâyia çıkarmıştı. Bu asılsız haberin doğru olduğunu zanneden bazı müslümanlar “Resûlullâh (s.a.v.)'den sonra yaşamanın ve savaşmanın ne anlamı var!” diye âdetâ kendilerini bırakmışlardı. Bunu farkeden Server-i Enbiyâ (s.a.v.) Efendimiz, Ashâb-ı Kirâmı (r.a.e.)'i kendisini görerek hayatta olduğunu anlamaları, ortaya atılan o asılsız habere inanmamaları, yeni bir şevkle savaşa dönüp etrafında toplanmaları için Uhud Dağı'nın eteğindeki yüksekçe bir yere çıkmak istedi. Fakat üzerinde iki ağır zırh vardı. Bir de Abdullah ibni Kamie adlı kâfirin attığı bir taşla mübarek yanağının üst tarafı yarılmış, mübârek başındaki miğferin iki halkası kırılıp bu yaraya saplanmış, bu yüzden çok kan kaybetmişti. Yine Aşere-i Mübeşşere'den olan Ebû Ubeyde bin Cerrâh (r.a.), Efendimiz (s.a.v.)'in yanağına saplanan halkaları dişleriyle çıkarmaya çalışırken onun da iki ön dişi kırılmıştı.O gün Seyyid-i Kâinât (s.a.v.) Efendimiz'in canını yakan bir olay daha yaşanmıştı. Sa'd ibni Ebî Vakkàs (r.a.)'in kardeşi Utbe ibni Ebî Vakkàs'ın attığı bir taşla Efendimiz (s.a.v.)'in sağ alt çenesindeki ön dişleriyle azıları arasındaki mübârek dişi kırılmıştı. İşte bütün bu tâlihsizlikler yüzünden Allâh'ın Elçisi (s.a.v.) kayanın üzerine çıkamamış, ancak Talha bin Ubeydillâh (r.a.)'in sırtına basarak oraya çıkabilmişti.(İmâm Tirmizî, Şemâil-i Şerîf, c.1, s.392-393)

Ich habe doch nichts getan.“ Du hast zwei Möglichkeiten: Du kannst dich runterziehen lassen, in Selbstmitleid oder Trotz. Oder du fragst dich: Was ist mein Learning? Was will mir das Leben gerade zeigen? Vor ein paar Tagen war ich mit Kunden in einem Lokal, in dem ich oft bin. Das Essen – wie immer top. Doch der Wirt? Keine Begrüßung, keine Freundlichkeit. Im Gegenteil: abwertendes Verhalten. Kein Dankeschön, kein Lächeln – nur ein abschätziger Blick beim Gehen. Und ich? Ich habe beschlossen: Das war's. Tschüssikowski. Ich brauche dieses Lokal nicht. Es gibt genügend andere in Bad Dürkheim. Ein paar Tage später – neue Szene. Mit meinem Kunden will ich ein Eis essen. Der Eisdielenbesitzer winkt: „Schon geschlossen.“ Doch eine Stunde später: Immer noch Gäste dort. Wieder diese Frage: Warum passiert mir das? Und wieder die Erkenntnis: Ich brauche auch diese Eisdiele nicht. Aber dann kam die wahre Einsicht: Wir Menschen machen viel zu oft immer das Gleiche. Gleiche Lokale. Gleiche Gewohnheiten. Gleiche Wege. Keine Abwechslung für unsere Synapsen. Deshalb habe ich für mich beschlossen: Ab jetzt: Nichts mehr doppelt. Kein Lokal, kein Schwimmbad, kein Ort – alles neu. Und weißt du was? Ich war in Grünstadt schwimmen – und es war mega. Ordentlicher, schöner, ruhiger. Hätte ich die Lektion nicht bekommen – ich wäre wieder im alten Trott gelandet. Wie oft machen wir Dinge aus Bequemlichkeit, obwohl sie uns nicht glücklich machen? Partnerschaft: Viele bleiben zusammen, weil es halt so ist – nicht weil sie erfüllt sind. Keine Gespräche, kein Lachen, kein Miteinander – nur noch Gewohnheit. Beruf: Wie viele gehen täglich zur Arbeit, obwohl sie sie hassen? Warum? Weil man weiß, was einen erwartet. Weil's „einfach“ ist. Aber am Ende stellt man fest: Das war nicht das Leben, das ich wollte. Darum: Ändere etwas. Setz dich an einen anderen Platz. Fahr in ein neues Bad. Schlaf auf der anderen Seite des Betts. Probier was Neues. Ich habe entschieden: Bis Jahresende gehe ich nie zweimal an denselben Ort. Jede Woche neue Lokale, neue Erfahrungen, neue Impulse. Ich freue mich jetzt schon auf meine Bilanz Ende des Jahres. Und du? Machst du immer dasselbe? Immer derselbe Urlaub? Dasselbe Restaurant? Dann stumpfst du ab. Routine frisst Lebendigkeit. Bio: "Hi! I'm Yasmin. Here's a bit about me. Well, a lot about me. A few years ago, I fell in love with the Spanish island of Menorca and have since upended my life as I've sold or donated most of my belongings, save for my cookbooks/books and beloved kitchen items, so I can spend at least half the year in Menorca. You'll find more updates of this particular life period in my newsletter. Food was a happy part of my childhood, likely because my parents were adamant about us gathering around the table for every meal, no matter what crazy schedules we had, and some my favorite memories are around the dinner table. At Cornell University, I planned on being a doctor and even worked at Cedars-Sinai in LA for a year, but I knew deep down that it wasn't the path for me (we always know, don't we?).After making list after list trying to figure out what to do with my life, food and travel kept popping up. So at 23, I moved to NYC to work at a small publishing house and found the Food Studies Master's program at NYU, which felt like a dream come true—we learned about food through the lens of culture, history, politics and so much more, even writing our own food tours in NYC neighborhoods. My final project was a cookbook proposal titled, Dinner with Friends.I then had the very fun job of working on the 2010 Food & Wine cocktail book and freelancing at the magazine. From there, I ran the cooking section of a website as a food editor for two years, when I decided I had had enough of working at a desk and wanted to travel the world. In a fortuitous happening, I became an undercover luxury hotel, restaurant and spa inspector for Forbes Travel Guide for four years, complete with a fake name and credit card (Isabella Harper, if you're curious). She was great. I lived in NYC, LA and London during that time, traveling around the world, from Shanghai to Rio, all over North America, Europe and more, which is when I also learned the joys of traveling alone. During that time, I wrote a weekly recipe column for Serious Eats that, in another twist, became the basis for my first cookbook, Keeping it Simple. The book ended up being much loved (which warmed my heart!), and it's both exciting and surreal what's happened with my career since. Here's a brief summary: I'm currently a regular contributor to NYT Cooking and was also nominated for a Webby Award for my video work with The Kitchn. My recipes and writing have appeared online and in print publications such as The Washington Post, Food52, The Kitchn, Guardian Feast, Today Show Food, Epicurious and others.  I met today's guest many years ago in the Heartland, when he was practicing quite a bit with Cody Gregory. More recently, I've run into him a bunch, at Stoneleigh, the AFA convention, and in Calgary at the World Championships. Adam was always so busy competing at these events that we never had a chance to sit down and do an interview.  Calgary was finally our chance, and after an earlier round for Adam one day, we went up to the Farrier's Bar at Spruce Meadows and sat on the balcony overlooking the trade show hall. Unfortunately, the music and ambient noise intruded on the recording and drowned out Adam a bit. Not to worry though, Heather over at Twisted Spur Media worked her magic and there are only a few instances where Adam's voice sounds a little bit distorted. Almost like the audio version of an over-pixelated picture. Don't worry though, ladies, overall, Adam's smooth southern voice comes through loud and clear. As you will hear, he is full of wisdom, and there were a ton of quotable lines from him. One of my personal favorites is that, "As farriers, we live life at 90".  I think that should be put on a t-shirt or something.  I was also quite inspired by his concept of improving 1 percent each day and how over 365 days,  that's a lot of improvement. This concept of marginal gains came up in quite a few of my interviews at Stoneleigh this year as well. I guess if so many top competitors and prevalent farriers are all talking about it, there must be something to it.   I hope you enjoy the conversation as much as I did.
