Welcome to one of the most important episodes I've ever dropped on Fire and Soul. Since day one of this show, it's been my intention to bring you the most embodied leaders in their respective fields and today's guest is no exception.I came across Brandon Joe Williams on one of my fave podcasts six months ago where he was talking about common law and how to legally escape the free-range debt-slave matrix. I was honestly shocked at how deeply my soul felt activated by the content. The curiosity running through my nervous system felt more like a remembrance of my divine rights. I quickly knew I was destined to dive in and share it with you so that as many of us who choose to walk this path and get ourselves free, can do so together. That said, I also noticed I got really, really scared. The energetics around the 14th Amendment and how the Naturalization Act got us here, what that means, and how we've been enslaved since 1871, felt extremely heavy, dark and masculine. The profound programming of fear and anxiety was real and felt in my body...There had to be a softer, more feminine approach to embarking on this path of sovereignty. That studying, implementing, and embodying real law and taking the necessary actions to get free was no different than doing deep shadow work and was safe for me to feel. I knew the last three years of doing deep inner work and cultivating spiritual strength had prepared me for this voyage. And if you're reading this, I believe that to be true for you as well.I offer that to you because this show attracts incredibly bright and brave women on the path of awakening. And as we continue to peel back the layers of mind control and manipulation, my prayer is that we rise in courage and stand firm in our authentic power on the journey of reclaiming our collective divine destiny.Who knows... perhaps this conversation will spark something within you, like it did me this past spring, and you'll feel the call to dig a little deeper yourself!Alrighty, in addition to the systemic racism and 14th Amendment running America, Brandon also tell us:How to legally not be liable for taxesHow to exit the corrupt US CorporationWhat "United States" really means and so much moreBe prepared, friend. Today's dose is utterly mind blowing. I invite you to be open and curious. Know that many of the most common questions such as, How could this be true? If it were true, why aren't more people doing this? Is this lawful? Is it really legal? All of those questions get answered in a legal, diplomatic and feminine way. Let's journey!GUEST RESOURCESCheck out Brandon's free 2.0 Contract Killer course at:onestupidfuck.comIG: one.stupid.fuckYT: https://www.youtube.com/@onestupidfuck Hosted on Acast. SUB TO THE PPM PATREON TO ACCESS ALL OF "THE KILLER DRILLER (PT. I & II)"—HELP US REACH OUR MOMENT OF TRUTH GOAL BEFORE SEPT. 1ST: patreon.com/ParaPowerMapping This concluding ep of the Engleman contract killing case study is where our investigation really picks up, reaching some climactic revelations, such as: A quite unexpected & rarely covered New Age mystical undercurrent to the case, including the Engleman family's abiding interest in esoterica (not to mention Glennon's quasi Manson-esque astral projection prison ministry). We learn even more about his mob enforcer aspirations. We uncover the Killer Driller victim Frey's work w/ a St. Louis executive class airplane renovating firm that designed luxury cabins for company planes, including hugely successful corporations & conglomerates like Coca-Cola, GM, Northrop Grumman, Anheuser-Busch, etc. We tease out the sex trafficking angle to the Bullock cold case, discovering that the Killer Driller was not only performing off the books medical work for what appears to have been a high society escort service, possibly w/ St. Louis organized crime or mafia ties, but that he was also married to one of the Guys & Dolls Club's most desired prostitutes, aka his first wife Ruthie. We even find tell of an Epstein-esque “black book” that named the powerful clientele of this prostitution ring, and by extension, can reasonably speculate that said document played a key role in the coverup of the Bullock murder. All in all, peeling back layers to this off the beaten path serial contract killer case in American true crime that most handlings have missed, dimensions to the case study that are even more resonant w/ Programmed to Kill or Eye of the Chickenhawk than I first anticipated. And staying true to the Counterpropaganda miniseries & our growing noided media studies department, we also alight upon a film & a prestige TV series that were both inspired by Glennon Engleman… Namely ‘90s body horror flick The Dentist & FX's Fargo S1. I also deliver some closing remarks as to why I think the Killer Driller goes a long way towards contradicting Linklater's “hit men don't exist” thesis of “Hit Man”. The First from a disturbing set of short stories in this second book in the Aberration series by author, Andrew Segal. Combining the macabre with the mysterious, the outrageous with the unbelievable, these dark tales will force readers to reassess their views of human nature whilst demonstrating wholly unpredictable patterns of individual behaviour. The glint of steel defined the blade held in the man's right hand. The shank was at least eight inches long. Its owner, in his twenties, over six feet tall, in tight blue jeans, with muscles bursting from his shabby white tee shirt, frowned like one intent on a task in hand. His three colleagues, of similar height and build, seemed equally absorbed. They were fanned out across the pavement like a herd of approaching buffalo, in the otherwise deserted street, on what was a cold grey October afternoon. These tasters are what's in store, to succeed the first collection, 'I'm a Gigolo,' which continues with the Gigolo meeting his opposite number in, 'I am a Courtesan.' Both masters of their chosen profession competing in a battle for supremacy, whose outcome, in a lighter moment, will surprise the reader. Ebook Will be made available mid March on Amazon Single short story https://www.happystorystore.com/product-page/crossfire-by-andrew-sagal Book one I'm a Gigolo https://www.amazon.co.uk/Im-Gigolo-Andrew-Segal-ebook/dp/B089DND755 About the Author, Andrew Segal brilliantly brings his own unique vision of what motivates people to seek self-justification for committing the most outlandish of crimes. A must read for those seeking the unusual in the horror, crime or noir genre.

The Iceman, Richard Kuklinski, was a notorious contract killer. Over the course of his ‘career' he, by his own admission, killed over 100 people. Richard Kuklinski had links to the Gambino family, was efficient and killed in a myriad of ways. In the process, he made himself, and his family, rich. Who hires contract killers? Andrew is our best-selling author, whose chilling novels have an exciting and different crime-thriller voice. He has introduced a relevant, choice for his central character – Tammy Pierre from The Caribbean. Many of our readers have commented that they really enjoy Andrew's believable worlds and complex plots that have them guessing until the end. Previously, Andrew has written a large collection of short stories each with a subtle twist. We have published the first of four collections of these stories – “I'm a Gigolo” – and later this year we will be releasing the second in the series, “I'm a Contract Killer”. However, our author's main love is for the full length novel and we have now published three of his crime thrillers, with more to come. Andrew became inspired to create his hero, as an avant garde Private Investigator, Tammy Pierre, for his new series of crime novels. In 2020, Happy London Press first introduced her in The Lyme Regis Murders featuring Tammy uncovering the dark and traumatic murder of three children in a British seaside town. But as Andrew develops his central character, so do the plots. In his latest book, The Black Candle Killings, we encounter dark magic from Trinidad, within which Tammy gets herself entangled. This is not a steampunk inspired matrix sequel in which Neo turns out not to be the one, but is in fact an assassin who must kill a metaphorical contract with the movie studio that made the same movie that he is starring in which also turns out to be a giant metaphor for stuff.

Thank you for tuning back into the Abyss Book Club! We are talking about the true crime book Iceman: Confessions of a Mafia Contract Killer by Philip Carlo. We will discuss the wild life of Richard Kuklinski from his account of his life as a hitman.    Synopsis from Amazon: "Philip Carlo's The Ice Man spent over six weeks on the New York Times Bestseller List. Top Mob Hitman. Devoted Family Man. Doting Father. For thirty years, Richard "The Iceman" Kuklinski led a shocking double life, becoming the most notorious professional assassin in American history while happily hosting neighborhood barbecues in suburban New Jersey.   Richard Kuklinski was Sammy the Bull Gravano's partner in the killing of Paul Castellano, then head of the Gambino crime family, at Sparks Steakhouse. Mob boss John Gotti hired him to torture and kill the neighbor who accidentally ran over his child. For an additional price, Kuklinski would make his victims suffer; he conducted this sadistic business with coldhearted intensity and shocking efficiency, never disappointing his customers. By his own estimate, he killed over two hundred men, taking enormous pride in his variety and ferocity of technique.   This trail of murder lasted over thirty years and took Kuklinski all over America and to the far corners of the earth, Brazil, Africa, and Europe. Along the way, he married, had three children, and put them through Catholic school. His daughter's medical condition meant regular stays in children's hospitals, where Kuklinski was remembered, not as a gangster, but as an affectionate father, extremely kind to children. Each Christmas found the Kuklinski home festooned in colorful lights; each summer was a succession of block parties. His family never suspected a thing."   Visit theabysspod.com for pictures and links to more information   On September 4th we will be discussing the book Find Her by Lisa Gardner so be sure to read up!

She changed her name to "Billie Holiday" because of her admiration for a film star named "Billie Dove."- Her contribution to the Harlem Renaissance is that she sung with many jazz musicians and Louis Armstrong during that period of time.- Eleanora Fagan, professionally known as Billie Holiday, was an African American jazz singer with a career in music leading up to 30 years.- Lester Young was her friend and music partner. Who nicknamed her "Lady Day." Holiday had a productive influence on jazz music and pop singing. Her vocal style sounded outstanding to many jazz instrumentalists. It pioneered a new way of manipulating phrasing and tempo. She was known for her vocal delivery and improvisational skills.- Eleanora Fagan was born in Philadelphia. She was the daughter of an unwed teenage couple Sarah Julia "Sadie" Fagan and Clarence Holiday. Her mother(Sarah) moved to Philadelphia at age 19 after she was evicted from her parents' home in the Sandtown-Winchester neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland for becoming pregnant. With no support from her parents, she made arrangements with her older, married half-sister Eva Miller for Eleanora(Billie Holiday) to stay with her in Baltimore. Not long after Eleanora was born, Clarence abandoned his family to pursue a career as a jazz banjo player and guitarist.- she grew up in Baltimore and had a very difficult childhood. Her mother often took what were then known as "transportation jobs," serving on passenger railroads. Holiday was raised mostly by Eva Miller's mother-in-law Martha Miller, and suffered from her mother's absences and being in others' care during her first decade of her life. Holiday's autobiography, Lady Sings the Blues was published in 1956. It has sketchy details of her early life. More information of the biography of the singer can be gained and researched by the author Stuart Nicholson. Stuart Nicholson has a 1995 biography of the singer.- After an unsettled childhood, Holiday began singing in nightclubs in Harlem. Where John Hammond commended her voice. She signed a recording contract with Brunswick in 1935.- Collaborations with Teddy Wilson produced the hit "What a Little Moonlight Can Do", which became a jazz standard. Between the 1930s and 1940s, Holiday had much success on labels as Columbia and Decca. By the late 1940s, however, she was oppressed with legal troubles and drug abuse. After a short prison sentence, she performed at a sold-out concert at Carnegie Hall, but her reputation deteriorated because of her drug and alcohol problems.- She was a successful concert performer throughout the 1950s with two further sold-out shows at Carnegie Hall. From personal struggles and an altered voice, her final recordings were met with mixed reaction, but were mild commercial successes. Her final album, Lady in Satin, was released in 1958. Holiday died of cirrhosis on July 17, 1959. She won four Grammy Awards, all of them were for Best Historical Album. She was initiated into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1973. Lady Sings the Blues, a film about her life, starring Diana Ross, was released in 1972. She is the primary character in the play Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill. This play was later made into a film. In 2017 Holiday was initiated into the National Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame.- Billie Holiday acted in the movies titled, New Orleans, Symphony in Black, I Hired a Contract Killer and Panic in the Streets.- Also. Billie Holiday sung at the Downbeat Jazz Club.- In closing out. May I inform you where you can learn more about this wonderful, great and extravagant singer through the website www.billieholiday.com. Bye-bye.✋

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What is information architecture? Information architecture is the relationship of how all the different pages of a website are related to each other. This is communicated visually through a sitemap. Here is an example of a sitemap: http://sitemaps.thewpdevshop.com/proctormajor/ What is an interactive prototype? An interactive prototype is a black and white version of your website that is designed to prove the functionality and features as they will work in the browser. No design elements are applied at this stage as the prototype is just built to allow all parties to make final decisions on the functionality. Here is an example of a prototype: http://prototypes.thewpdevshop.com/proctormajor/ Why do you use WordPress? WordPress is open source content management software and currently powers around 25% of all websites on the Internet. The project is contributed to by tens of thousands of developers all over the world and is growing from strength to strength. WordPress allows us to develop flexible and customisable websites to modern standards and observes web development best practices. Furthermore, the community of web developers that use WordPress reaches far and wide and allows us to tap into this collective intelligence and bring that wealth of experience to your project. Where is the website hosted? Your website needs to be hosted by a hosting company that specialises in WordPress hosting. There are many companies that do this. WP Engine, Siteground, Pagely and Pantheon are just a few who specialise in this area. We are more than happy to make a personal recommendation should you require one. Who do I call if something goes wrong with the website or I can’t figure something out? Provided you subscribe to one of our ongoing website care plans, we will be your first point of call should something go wrong with your website. We will determine whether it is something the hosting company needs to fix something that is covered by your website care plan. We will provide training and video tutorials to assist you in using your website once it is launched. What happens after the website is launched? Once your website is launched, we will provide 30 days of support to make sure any bugs have been ironed out and that you are confident using your new website. After this, you will need to subscribe to one of our ongoing website care plans to make sure your website is looked after and maintained. These website care plans include updating your software, regular backups, security checks and making sure your website is online and open for business 24/7/365. More information on our website care plans are available upon request. How long will it take to appear at the top of Google? The time it takes for your website to appear on page 1 of Google depends on a number of factors. It depends on the search phrase people are using to find your website and the number of other websites that are also available for those search phrases. Nobody can truly say how long it will take for your website to appear at the top of search engine results pages (including people who actually work for Google), however, there are a number of factors that can improve your chances. Building your website on WordPress is a good start as WordPress has some great Search Engine Optimisation fundamentals built-in. Creating unique and interesting content on a regular basis for your website is also critical to increase your visibility amongst search engines. Launching your website and then forgetting about it is a surefire way to get lost amongst the noise. We are happy to talk to more about your search engine strategy if we haven’t already. How will I know if anyone is visiting my website? We will install Google analytics software on your new website and show you how to log into your Google Analytics account where you can see a wide range of statistics about your website including a number of visits, page views than the amount of time people are spending on your website. Once you subscribe to one of our website care plans you will also receive more detailed analysis about your website performance and recommendations on how to improve. What happens if I want to add some features to the website while you’re building it? Whilst we like to be flexible and responsive to your needs, we also like to deliver what we promise within the time frames and budgets we have allowed. If you ask us to add new features to your website while we are building it, will most likely ask why? If we all agree that your new request will help us achieve our objectives then we will be more than happy to oblige. If your new feature is something you would like to add to your website but is not directly tied to your original objectives then we will suggest to schedule it for a second iteration of the website once it has been launched. This will require a new proposal. NEXT STEPS To proceed with this project, XXX is required to take the following steps: Accept the proposal as is by clicking on the “Accept” or “Approve” button, or discuss desired changes. Please note that changes to the scope of the project can be made at any time, but additional charges may apply.  Submit an initial payment of 50% of the total project fee. Once these steps have been completed we will begin the project with an introduction of all relevant people and begin the discovery process. MUTUAL AGREEMENT This is a variation of the original Contract Killer template by Andy Clarke which can be found here: http://stuffandnonsense.co.uk/projects/contract-killer/ Between us, XXX and you XXX. Summary We will always do our best to fulfil your needs and meet your goals, but sometimes it’s best to have a few things written down so that we both know what’s what, who should do what and what happens if stuff goes wrong. In this contract, you won’t find complicated legal terms or long passages of unreadable text. We have no desire to trick you into signing something that you might later regret. We do want what’s best for the safety of both parties, now and in the future. In short You (XXX) are hiring us (XXX Pty Ltd) located at XXX to design and develop a website for the estimated total price as outlined in our proposal. Of course, it’s a little more complicated, but we’ll get to that. What Do Both Parties Agree To Do? As our customer, you have the power and ability to enter into this contract on behalf of your company or organisation. You agree to provide us with everything that we’ll need to complete the project – including text, images and other information – as and when we need it and in the format, we ask for. You agree to review our work, provide feedback and approval in a timely manner too. Deadlines work two ways and you’ll also be bound by any dates that we set together. You also agree to stick to the payment schedule set out at the end of this contract.organisation. You agree to provide us with everything that we’ll need to complete the project – including text, images and other information – as and when we need it and in the format, we ask for. You agree to review our work, provide feedback and approval in a timely manner too. Deadlines work two ways and you’ll also be bound by any dates that we set together. You also agree to stick to the payment schedule set out at the end of this contract. We have the experience and ability to perform the services you need from us and we will carry them out in a professional and timely manner. Along the way, we will endeavour to meet all the deadlines set but we can’t be responsible for a missed launch date or a deadline if you have been late in supplying materials or have not approved or signed off our work on-time at any stage. On top of this, we’ll also maintain the confidentiality of any information that you give us. Getting Down to the Nitty-Gritty Design If we are designing your application we’ll create designs for the look-and-feel, layout and functionality of your website. This contract includes one main design plus the opportunity for you to make up to two rounds of revisions. If you’re not happy with the designs at this stage, you will pay us in full for all of the work that we have produced until that point and you may either cancel this contract or continue to commission us to make further design revisions at our standard design rates. HTML and CSS Layout Templates If the project includes HTML markup and CSS templates, we’ll develop these using valid HTML and CSS code. The landscape of web browsers and devices changes regularly and our approach is to look forward, not back. With that in mind, we will test all our markup and CSS in current versions of all major desktop browsers to ensure that we make the most of them. Users of older or less capable browsers or devices will experience a design that is appropriate to the capabilities of their software. We do not cater to people using Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and cannot predict the behaviour of that browser. We will also test that these templates perform well on Apple’s iPad. We will not test old or abandoned browsers, for example, Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or 5.5 for Windows or Mac, previous versions of Apple’s Safari, Mozilla Firefox or Opera unless otherwise specified. If you need us to consider these older browsers, we will charge you at our standard old browser rate for any necessary additional design work, development and testing. Text Content We may have written a hundred blog posts but we’re not responsible for writing or inputting any text copy unless we specified it in the original estimate. We’ll be happy to help though, and in addition to the estimate, we will charge you at our standard copywriting or content input rate. Photographs You will supply us photographs in digital format. If you choose to buy stock photographs we can suggest vendors of stock photography. Any time we spend searching for appropriate photographs will be charged at our standard discovery rate. Changes and Revisions We know from plenty of experience that fixed-price contracts are rarely beneficial to you, as they often limit you to your first idea about how something should look, or how it might work. We don’t want to limit either your options or your opportunities to change your mind. The estimate/quotation prices at the beginning of this document are based on the amount of work we estimate we’ll need to accomplish everything that you have told us you want to achieve. If you do want to change your mind, add extra pages or templates or even add new functionality, that won’t be a problem. However, you will be charged accordingly and these additional costs will need to be agreed to before the extra work commences. This additional work will affect deadlines and they will be moved accordingly. We’ll be upfront about all of this if and when it happens to make sure we’re all on the same page before proceeding. We may also ask you to put requests in writing so we can keep track of changes. If the nature or functions of the project change significantly throughout the process, we reserve the right to deem the current project cancelled. At this, point you will pay us in full for all the work we have done and may commission us to complete the new project based on the new requirements. This will require a new quote and contract. Technical Support You may already have professional website hosting, you might even manage that hosting in-house; if that’s the case, great. If you don’t manage your own website hosting, or your current hosting environment does not support the solution we are providing, we can set up an account for you at one of our preferred, third-party hosting providers. We will charge you a one-off fee for installing your site on this server, plus any statistics software such as Google Analytics, then the updates to, and management of that server, plus any support issues will be up to you. We are not a website hosting company and so do not offer or include technical support for website hosting, email or other services relating to website hosting. Legal stuff We can’t guarantee that the functions contained in any web page templates or in a completed website will always be error-free and so we can’t be liable to you or any third party for damages, including lost profits, lost savings or other incidental, consequential or special damages arising out of the operation of or inability to operate this website and any other web pages, even if you have advised us of the possibilities of such damages. If any provision of this agreement shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason is unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable from this agreement and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions. Phew! Copyrights You guarantee to us that any elements of text, graphics, photos, designs, trademarks, or other artwork that you provide us for inclusion in the website are either owned by your good selves or that you have permission to use them. When we receive your final payment, copyright is automatically assigned as follows: You own the graphics and other visual elements that we create for you for this project. We’ll give you a copy of all files and you should store them really safely as we are not required to keep them or provide any native source files we used to make them. You also own text content, photographs and other data you provided unless someone else owns them. We own the markup, CSS and other code and we license it to you for use on only this project. We love to show off our work and share what we have learned with other people, so we reserve the right to display and link to your completed project as part of our portfolio and to write about the project on websites, in magazine articles and in books about web design. Payments We are sure you understand how important it is as a small business that you pay the invoices that we send you promptly. As we’re also sure you’ll want to stay friends, you agree to stick tight to the following payment schedule. 50% deposit upfront 30% instalment once functionality and design has been agreed upon 20% balance once the application has been tested and everyone agrees it is ready to go live. NB: If you are unable to supply all of the right content at this stage, it does not mean we have not done our job. Lavender Roses : Short Story written and narrated by Andrew Segal was published in The Lady Magazine in April 2019. I was just eight years old the first time I visited Paris, but even at that age something about the city was entrancing. Too early in life to see the romance of the place, but not too early to fail to appreciate the sounds and sights. The delicious food, and the way Parisians relished their meals. Vichy water, as in those days tap water wasn’t fit to drink. Hence the custom of drinking wine with every meal, at least for adults that is. Steaks, the like of which I’d never tasted in the UK. Crisp, golden colour chips. And, modest by today’s standards, the famous Folies Bergere. Today Paris still enchants, the Eiffel Tower standing proud and tall in the centre. My story encapsulates the feelings that the city engenders in a young loving couple, and the way in which aspects of their stay remain with them into old age. Contract Killer Mad Dog Joe Sullivan - Part 2...In part two of this two-part special, new father, 38-year-old Mad Dog Joe Sullivan soaks up some culture while honeymooning with his wife Gail. He then gets right back into knocking mobsters for "Fat Tony" Salerno and the Genovese family, including Mickey Spillane's top enforcer Tommy “The Greek” Kapatos, and Antonio Caponegro aka “Tony Bananas”. There was also a botched hit on Carmine “Lilo” Galante and a near miss on “Ol' Blue Eyes” himself, Frank Sinatra. In the summer of 1978, Joe met with actor's Jon Voight and Robert Di Niro and directors Hal Ashby and John Hancock to discuss potential film projects. After teaming up with some friends from the disco scene, Joe started sticking up payrolls and jewellery stores for a bit of a lark and some extra cash but ended up committing several murders of accomplices in bungled burglaries, before his last hit on “Johnny Flowers” Fiorino caused his dramatic capture.Become a Bloody Murder Patron (for as little as $1 per month, which you cancel at anytime) and have access to dozens of Patron only episodes (including our whole first season!) with new patron only content added every month! Contract Killer Mad Dog Joe Sullivan - Part 1...Contract killer “Mad Dog” Joe Sullivan started out life as a good Irish Catholic boy in a squarehead family in Queens. In part one of this two-part special, we cover how the sudden death of Joe's detective father, and the horrendous effect it had on his family broke something inside young Joe. And when Joe broke, he broke bad. Mad Dog Sullivan spent most of his teen years in Juvenile Detention for petty crimes, before graduating to armed robberies and murder. After escaping from Attica maximum security prison, in 1971, Joe hit up made man John Sullivan for a job. Through John, Joe became a contract killer for “Fat Tony” Salerno and the notorious Genovese crime family. He is said to have disposed of Jimmy Hoffa's body for them and murdered two of Mickey Spillane's top gunman Tommy Devaney and "Eddie The Butcher" Cummiskey.Under the tutelage of his murder mentor, George Barone, over the next several years Joe would go on to murder an estimated 30 people.See our website! bloodymurderpodcast.com for all our socal media links, contact details, a gallery, fabulous merchandise (check out our new Bloody Murder SHOES! and now STICKERS and BACKPACKS and DUFFEL BAGS!!) and much much more.Become a Bloody Murder Patron (for as little as $1 per month, which you cancel at anytime) and have access to dozens of Patron only episodes (including our whole first season!) with new patron only content added every month!Go to https://www.patreon.com/bloodymurderAlso Levels $5 and over go into our monthly merchandise draws and get FREE stickers and hand-made Barney Badges!Wanna buy us a drink? And criminal lawyer David Butt weighs in on some of the more pressing legal questions surrounding marijuana, possession charges and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Later, Peter McKay is Canada's former Minister of Justice/Attorney General, but he is also a dad with concerns about the marijuana legislation and cannabis as a gateway drug. The Saudi government now says Jamal Khashoggi died in a fight. But was it anything less than a fight for his life? Khashoggi was more than just a reporter and there could be more at play than originally assumed. Dr. Christian Leuprecht, author of ‘North American Strategic Defense: Security and Sovereignty in an Uncertain World,' was in Turkey when Khashoggi was killed and shares his insights on the situation. Regardless of the motivations behind the killing of Khashoggi, the world is becoming increasingly dangerous for journalists. Toronto Sun columnist Joe Warmington and Roy discuss the risks associated with the profession in the 2018. Ontario MPP Dave Smith explains his private members legislation that would strip returning terrorists of their privileges in the province. Meanwhile, last week Roy talked with John Letts, the father of the man dubbed “Jihadi Jack” by the British media who is currently held prisoner in a Kurdish prison. Following that interview, John Letts wrote a letter to Canadian members of Canadian parliament, begging for his son to be allowed into Canada even though he is suspected of being an ISIS member. Canada must prosecute returning ISIS fighters, according to Kyle Matthews, Executive Director of the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies. Jessie Melo's father, professional boxer Eddie “Hurricane” Melo, was shot and killed in Toronto by a contract killer in 2001. The hitman, Charles Gagne, was out on day parole when he shot Eddie Melo. It was a Saturday night when Vladislav Delay played the first LiveSoundtracks show in Barcelona. The choice of film, Aki Kaurismäki’s I Hired a Contract Killer, was Delay’s. Our intention was to highlight how beautiful the synergy between sound and image can be.And we choose a futuristic hotel design by Richard Roger for inciting enthusiasm. A few days after that night, Chris Mann wrote on Resident Advisor : “LiveSoundtracks will take the show on the road around Europe and offer more events in the future, and from the success of this outing, they’ll be something to look forward to.” After 10 years we can say he brought us luck. Throughout these years, we have produced numerous cultural events in Barcelona. We have been invited by festivals and universities around Europe. We have worked with renowned artists, DJs and musicians from all over the world. We won a contest and we became a festival. We have launched a course in soundtrack composition and we have started a radio show. During these years, we have experienced changes. We have changed to be more visible, to better communicate our ideology and to explore new expressions in art, through music and cinema. We have discovered that in order to move forward we need to step back to the origins, with an eye on the future.

It’s episode 29 and part two in a series about contracts and the Contract Killer. Anna and Andy talk about how a good contract sets the tone and lays the foundations for a mutually good business relationship. They get down to the nitty gritty of the first few Contract Killer clauses including specifying deliverables, price and payment terms. Oh. And Andy mentioned ze Chermans but he thinks he got avay viz it. Finally, yes finally , Anna and Andy get around to the first of two, maybe three, episodes about contacts. They talk about the ‘ Contract Killer,’ why they think it’s important to always use a contract and why some people think otherwise. They discuss the essential elements that should go into every contract and why, on top of any legal benefits, how a good contract says a lot about how you do business and why writing yours should be a creative challenge you relish. (Don’t miss the gag reel and ice-cream banter after the show. It’s a scorcher.) For today's talk we had Brandon Williams from onestupidfuck.com! He is a wealth (kind of literally) of information on becoming a national vs. United States citizen, the all caps corporation that is your legal name, ways to go around taxes, licenses, legal trouble, and even possibly credit cards and other loans. This is rather complex stuff for my brain and we plan on getting him back on in a few months to go a bit deeper into his methods. You can find all of his work including a free course called Contract Killer, his books, and videos all at onestupidfuck.com. I recommend watching the video of this episode on youtube.com/legitbat or rokfin.com/legitbat if you're interested in seeing all the legal codes and info he shares on screen.
