On December 20th, 2022, a doctor at Women and Infants Hospital in Providence looked at Lindsay Clancy's medication list and decided she was too medicated to safely enter their postpartum program. That doctor picked up a phone and called the nurse practitioner prescribing them. Nobody answered. Nobody called back. Thirty-five days later her three children were dead.Today that nurse practitioner testified, and Kevin Reddington read her the note.Day 11 in Plymouth Superior Court, on what happened to be Lindsay Clancy's 36th birthday. Julie Paul retook the stand and got a one-minute cross that was more devastating than any of the grillings that came before it. Rebecca Jollotta, the psychiatric nurse practitioner who inherited Clancy's care in November 2022, spent nearly the entire day answering for a treatment record she only ever saw a fraction of. And before the jury walked in, Judge William Sullivan heard argument on whether a former McLean Hospital social worker who posted about the trial on TikTok can testify about holiday staffing on a psychiatric unit.I go through the MyChart messages Clancy sent her provider in December, in her own words, in real time. I go through the bipolar question and the 5K that nobody knew about. And I get into the detail nobody else is covering: Jollotta could not get her patient's psychiatrist notes, could not get the McLean records, and did not know about fourteen psychiatric appointments, but she could pull every controlled substance Clancy had ever been dispensed in Massachusetts in about ninety seconds. We built one interoperable health database in this country. We built the one that watches you. Also in here: why blaming HIPAA for this is a myth, with the actual regulation cited. Why there are five inpatient perinatal psychiatric programs in the entire United States and forty-five states have none. And why every provider on that witness stand is also a defendant in a civil suit over the same care.***This episode is not editedBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/we-saw-the-devil-unfiltered-political-analysis--4433638/support.Website: http://www.wesawthedevil.comPatreon: http://www.patreon.com/wesawthedevilRobin's Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/robin_wstdTwitter: http://www.twitter.com/WeSawtheDevilInstagram: http://www.instagram.com/wesawthedevilpodcast.TikTok: tiktok.com/@wesawthedevilpolitics

We asked what advice he'd give a new dad. His answer had nothing to do with the baby.   Steve Olsher's advice for men entering fatherhood is to prioritize your wife, above the kids. It sounds backwards, especially when there's a newborn in the house who genuinely needs everything. But his reasoning is hard to argue with: the most important relationship in a family is the one between mom and dad, and when the two of you are off, the whole house feels it. He also makes an uncomfortable case that nearly every conflict traces back to one thing.   This is part of NEW DAD WEEK, five short episodes for expecting dads and dads in the first year. Free field guide for the whole week at frontrowdads.com/newdad.   IN THIS EPISODE: Why the strongest thing in your family is the relationship between the two of you What happens to couples who let the whole dynamic become about the kids The long view: one day they leave, and you're either with your best friend or a stranger Why 99 times out of 100 the fight was your fault How selfishness quietly runs most conflict, and what to do about it   Hear Steve's full conversation at frontrowdads.com/199.

A 30-year-old soldier can have the knees of a 60-year-old. Not from one bad injury, but from carrying a load every single day for years. Family medicine and sports medicine physician Ann Lebeck returns to explain why she came to see soldiers as tactical athletes, and what that means for their bodies. This episode is based on her article "Military sports medicine and the cost of readiness," published on KevinMD. You will hear why young recruits who never played sports kept saying the Army broke them, how early joint damage shows up predictably with years of service, and why a soldier is a year-round athlete for two decades, not a four-year career. Ann shares the program she built that taught running mechanics, strengthening, and even the right shoes, and the results after 1,200 soldiers came through. You will come away seeing soldiers, and every physically demanding job, through the eyes of the doctor who learned to treat the body that carries the load. Partner with me on the KevinMD platform. Airline lounge access keeps getting more expensive—and Ed and Richard are wondering who is actually paying these prices. This week on Miles To Go, they break down American Airlines' latest Admirals Club changes, including higher membership prices and a revamped Executive Card. With individual lounge membership now costing hundreds of dollars and family access climbing even higher, the guys debate whether the airline credit card is now the only logical way to buy into the ecosystem. That leads to a broader discussion about whether airport lounges deserve as much weight as they get when travelers evaluate premium credit cards. Crowding, long lines, limited space, and inconsistent food all make Ed question how much real value lounge access adds. Richard also shares a surprise about JetBlue Mint: even on an expensive transcontinental Mint ticket, lounge access still isn't included unless you're flying transatlantic. Then the conversation shifts to a brand-new luxury resort cancellation controversy, where a well-known YouTuber arrived only to find his reservation had been canceled at the last minute. Keep winning! Two-time Emmy and Three-time NAACP Image Award-winning, television Executive Producer Rushion McDonald interviewed Dr. Christina Dukes Brown. CEO of the Boys & Girls Club of Paterson and Passaic, New Jersey. The discussion centers on the organization's mission to support underserved youth through education, mentorship, entrepreneurship, life skills development, athletics, and community engagement. Dr. Brown also shares her vision for empowering young people and calls on businesses, volunteers, and community leaders to help create opportunities for the next generation. Purpose of the Interview The interview was designed to: Highlight the needs of children and families in Paterson and Passaic, New Jersey. Showcase the impact of the Boys & Girls Club's programs. Encourage volunteers, mentors, business owners, and corporations to get involved. Promote youth entrepreneurship and leadership development. Demonstrate how communities can work together to improve outcomes for young people. Key Takeaways 1. The Boys & Girls Club Is a Lifeline for Many Families The organization serves more than 1,400 children and teens daily through after-school programs, summer camps, tutoring, athletics, arts, and mentoring. Many of the families served face challenges such as poverty, food insecurity, homelessness, and educational barriers. Impact: Academic support and homework assistance. Nutritious meals and safe environments. Positive recreational and leadership opportunities. Family and community support services. 2. Education Requires Community Support Dr. Brown explained that schools alone cannot provide everything children need to succeed. The Boys & Girls Club helps fill those gaps through smaller group settings, individualized attention, and additional academic resources. Programs Include: Homework support (Power Hour) Tutoring Character development Leadership training Creative arts and athletics College and career preparation 3. Entrepreneurship Is a Major Focus One of the Club's signature initiatives is Girls with Goals, a 10-week entrepreneurship program designed to help young women develop business skills. Participants: Learn from successful women entrepreneurs. Create business plans. Develop pitching skills. Present their ideas in a Shark Tank-style competition. The program aims to build confidence, leadership abilities, and financial literacy while inspiring future business owners. 4. Mentorship Is Critical A central message throughout the interview is the importance of mentorship. Dr. Brown emphasized that young people benefit from seeing successful individuals who share similar backgrounds and experiences. She encouraged professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders to volunteer their time and expertise. Why Mentorship Matters: Provides real-world guidance. Builds confidence. Expands career awareness. Helps break cycles of poverty. Creates positive role models. 5. Challenging Negative Stereotypes Dr. Brown spoke passionately about overcoming what she called "deficit ideology," the belief that young people from marginalized communities lack the ability to succeed. Her message was clear: Talent exists everywhere. Success is not determined by zip code. Every child has strengths that deserve recognition. Soft skills are just as important as academic achievements. She stressed the importance of helping young people recognize their own value and potential. 6. Preparing Youth for Adulthood The organization serves youth from ages 5 to 25, including young adults who are still exploring career options. For older participants, the Club focuses on: Professional development Workplace readiness Internships Career exploration Leadership opportunities Dr. Brown also discussed expanding partnerships with local businesses to expose young adults to skilled trades and vocational careers. 7. Community Involvement Is the Solution Both Dr. Brown and Rushion McDonald repeatedly stressed that real change happens when communities become actively involved. The interview served as a call to action for: Volunteers Business owners Corporations Churches Mentors Community organizations The message: everyone has something valuable to contribute to the success of young people. Notable Quotes On Community Responsibility "I can't complain about the position of Black and Brown people in society if I'm not going to do the work necessary to support its elevation." On Motivation "It's hard to get to sleep at night because you're constantly thinking about what's next and what you must do. But I am motivated to jump out of bed every morning to come and support these communities." On Potential and Success "No matter where you come from and no matter what you look like, no matter what skin you show up in, you have the capacity to become great." On Building Confidence "We have to help affirm those skills just like the others, so that young people can be confident in who they are." On Mentorship "One of the best motivating factors for most young people is being able to look into the eyes of a person who looks like them, who has a similar background." On Entrepreneurship "Many of our teenage female club members wanted to start their own businesses." On Community Access "We want to make ourselves available to the community as often as the community has a need." Executive Summary Dr. Christina Dukes Brown's appearance on Money Making Conversations Masterclass was a powerful call for community-driven youth empowerment. She highlighted the Boys & Girls Club of Paterson and Passaic's efforts to address educational challenges, develop future leaders and entrepreneurs, provide mentorship, and create pathways to long-term success. Welcome back to the Smiling Homeschooler Podcast! We are glad you're joining us this week. We are getting closer and closer to the start of a new school year, and over the next few weeks, we're going to be doing a little series talking about some of the things that homeschool families are thinking about as they get ready to jump back into another year of homeschooling. And today, we're talking about homeschool co-ops and how to pick the best one for your family. Co-ops are one of those things that can be a really great part of homeschooling for some families, but they can also bring a lot of questions. Should we join one? What are the benefits? What are some of the downsides? How much time are we really going to have to commit? And maybe most importantly, is a co-op actually a good fit for our family? We've had our own experiences with co-ops over the years, and today we want to talk through some of the things we've learned, some of the things we love about them, and some of the things you probably want to think about before signing your family up for one. We hope you are encouraged by our conversation, and if you know a mom who is on the fence about co-ops or new to homeschooling, maybe share this episode with them! In December 2022, the family of Kaylee Goncalves hired Moscow attorney Shanon Gray to represent them as frustration grew over the investigation into the murders of Kaylee, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin. At the time, no suspect had been publicly identified, and Steve and Kristi Goncalves had become increasingly outspoken about what they believed was inconsistent communication from investigators. The family had publicly questioned why certain information was being withheld, challenged some of the early statements coming from law enforcement and expressed concern that they were learning important developments through the media instead of directly from authorities. Gray was brought in to serve as the family's legal representative and advocate, helping them communicate with investigators while also protecting their interests as the highly publicized investigation continued.Gray's role became even more significant after Bryan Kohberger was arrested in Pennsylvania on December 30, 2022, and extradited to Idaho to face four counts of first-degree murder and burglary. He accompanied the Goncalves family through the court process and frequently spoke publicly on their behalf, including after Kohberger's first Idaho court appearance, when Gray said the family understood that the criminal justice process was only beginning and that they intended to remain involved for the long haul. He later represented their interests during disputes over the case's gag order and other legal issues, effectively becoming the family's voice as the prosecution moved forward. What had begun as an effort to obtain better communication and greater transparency during the investigation ultimately developed into a long-term attorney-client relationship that continued throughout the prosecution of Kohberger.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com

If you've ever lost everything (a business, a marriage, your sense of who you are) this conversation is proof that the collapse isn't the end of your story. Rick Trimmer walks through the exact math he and his wife used to climb out of $640,000 in debt: the thousand-day stretch with no pay, the decade of living on a thousand dollars a month, and the brutal conversations he had with himself and his wife about what they actually wanted. If you're in the hole right now, or you're scared of ever being in it, this is the blueprint for how a man digs out without excuses and without quitting on his family. But this isn't just a comeback story; it's a lesson in delayed gratification and what winning the game really looks like. We'll cover how to build passive income, take advantage of opportunities that scare you, and chose freedom over the appearance of success. If you're tired of chasing a lifestyle you can't afford, or you're ready to start building something that actually lasts, this conversation gives you the mindset and the moves to get there. The letters at the center of the Nancy Guthrie disappearance are public at last, and they raise more questions than the six months of silence that preceded them. Tony Brueski and retired FBI behavioral analyst Robin Dreeke take on the listener mailbag for the case that has gripped the country since an 84-year-old mother vanished from her Tucson home. The first note promised her safe return for $4 million in Bitcoin and carried details from inside the house to prove itself. The second withdrew everything — no demand, no negotiation, just a claim that Nancy perished shortly after she was taken and a wish that her children find peace. Retired FBI agents told CBS News that people motivated by money don't abandon $4 million, and that one writer likely produced both letters. Meanwhile the sheriff's own words the day before the release, and a Wall Street Journal accounting of the investigation's early missteps, have listeners asking who exactly is in control of this case. From the daughter worried about her own mother living alone to the question of what the renewed search behind Nancy's home really means, these are the eight questions this case comes down to.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/ Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? In this special Family Anointing Sunday message, Pastor Les Cody challenges parents, grandparents, and the entire church to spiritually prepare their families for the year ahead, drawing from Deuteronomy 6. He unpacks the truth that the word of God and the presence of God are meant to permeate every part of life, not just Sunday mornings, and that parents cannot deposit into their children what they have not first received themselves. Pastor Les calls families to stop compartmentalizing God and to make Him the center of how they raise their children, manage their marriages, and conduct their everyday lives. Pastor Les reminds parents that the goal of raising children is not to protect them from darkness but to prepare them to carry the light into it. He challenges fathers to spiritually lead their homes, encourages mothers to intercede faithfully, and calls every member of the congregation, whether parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or single believer, to pick up the burden of the next generation and pray, mentor, and invest in them. This message closes with a powerful time of prayer and anointing over families, students, and children as the congregation prepares to enter a new school year, believing that their children have not been sent out to survive but to be sent as carriers of the presence and glory of God. The vision of Mercy Culture is to take people from corporate encounters with God to daily personal encounters with God. At Mercy Culture, one of our unique characteristics is that we are a presence driven church. We are not built around any person or ministry. We are built around the presence of God. Each week, you will hear a teaching from our Lead Pastors, Sean and Natalie Gleason or another leader in our community. To learn more about Mercy Culture, visit https://mercyculturewaco.com

Six months into the Nancy Guthrie investigation, the Pima County Sheriff's Department put its two most closely held pieces of evidence in front of the public: the purported ransom notes. Tony Brueski and retired FBI behavioral analyst Robin Dreeke answer the listener questions those letters unleashed.Start with the night itself. Doorbell camera disconnected at 1:47 a.m., a person detected at 2:12 with no video surviving, her pacemaker offline at 2:28, her blood on the porch. Then the letters. A $4 million Bitcoin demand backed by details only someone inside the house should know. Four days later, a second note with no demand at all: she perished, she is buried in nature, we hope you find peace, we are truly sorry. And around it all, a sheriff who denied having any note indicating death just one day before his department released one.Robin built his career reading people through their words, and these are the most consequential words this case has produced. From the listener whose own mother lives alone to the one who thinks the search behind Nancy's house means investigators know more than they're saying — this episode is the conversation the whole audience is having.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/ Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? What Does Thriving with Autism Really Look Like? Thriving with autism is an achievable reality when the right strategies, support systems, and mindset are in place. The Early Signs: Recognizing Autism Before the Official Diagnosis Long before any formal paperwork was signed, Suzanne noticed that William was different in quiet but telling ways. Why Suzanne Waited to Accept the Official Label When her son was five years old and ready for kindergarten, a school in Texas called Suzanne on a Friday evening to deliver the news: her son had tested positive for autism. The Gift of an Extraordinary Memory and Relentless Curiosity One of the most defining traits that emerged early in William's childhood was his exceptional memory and his capacity to transform curiosity into a deep passion. Building the Right Support Team: The Foundation of Autism Parenting Success One of the most consistent threads running through Suzanne's journey is the critical role that the right support team played in William's development. How Suzanne Chose to Lead with Humility, Not Control Many parents of children with special needs fall into the trap of over-controlling every aspect of their child's care, often out of fear. The Role of Her Husband as a Stabilizing Voice Behind every resilient autism parent is often a quiet, steady partner who provides support when the emotional weight becomes too heavy. Raising a Child with Autism Alongside Neurotypical Siblings William is a twin. Teaching Flexibility Without Losing Structure One of the most practical and repeatable strategies Suzanne used was building structured flexibility into William's daily life. The College Journey: Choosing the Right Autism Support Program The decision to send William to college was a mixture of emotions. Key Lessons Every Autism Parent Needs to Hear Suzanne's journey is not a perfect roadmap, but it is one of hope. How to Find and Trust the Right Therapy Team Suzanne's final and perhaps most urgent autism parenting tips are deceptively simple: surround yourself with people who will genuinely support you, not just your child. French fries. Cookies. Potato Chips. Sweets. Hot dogs. Chicken Nuggets. Do these sound like foods some of your grandkids eat regularly? Or maybe this is pretty much all you're seeing them eat – minus an occasional piece of carrot or some green peas. A strong company should care deeply about its people. But care cannot replace accountability. In this episode of The Level Up Podcast, Paul Alex breaks down why treating employees like family can create dangerous tolerance for underperformance—and why championship teams are built around support, standards, and results. Top performers want to work with other top performers. When weak execution is constantly excused, your strongest people are forced to carry the weight. Eventually, they stop respecting the culture. In this episode, you'll learn: • Why unconditional tolerance can weaken performance standards• How underperformers impact the morale of your strongest employees• Why businesses should operate more like championship teams• How clear expectations and accountability create a stronger culture The truth is simple: Support your people. Train them. Pay them well. Give them every opportunity to succeed. But make excellence the standard for keeping a seat on the team. Elite talent wants to work beside elite talent. Protect the roster. Demand execution. Build a culture designed to win. Your Network is your NETWORTH! Prayer is more than a simple request—it is an invitation to trust in the power, goodness, and faithfulness of God. In this devotional, Lynette Kittle explores what it means to pray with genuine faith and believe that God is able to answer, provide, and move in ways beyond what we can accomplish on our own. Through the story of the father who cried out, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” in Mark 9:23-24, we are reminded that God does not ask us to rely on our own strength or add our own efforts to make prayer effective. Instead, He invites us to come to Him with confidence, trusting that all things are possible through Him. When we struggle to believe, prayer itself becomes a place where God strengthens our faith and teaches us to depend on Him. Highlights: Discover why prayer is enough when we trust the One we are praying to. Explore the difference between asking God in faith and doubting His ability to work. Learn from the father in Mark 9 who brought both his faith and his doubts to Jesus. See how Scripture reveals God’s power to do what seems impossible. Be encouraged to stop limiting your prayers based on what you think God can do. Reflect on how surrendering your unbelief can deepen your relationship with God. By Lynette Kittle Bible Reading: “‘If you can’?’ said Jesus. ‘Everything is possible for one who believes.’” - Mark 9:23 How often do we pray, believing it will take more than prayer to receive our answer? By that meaning, do we, or someone else, need to do anything in addition to praying for God to answer us? Do we tend to believe that we have to give money, or volunteer, along with prayer? That it’s not enough in itself for God to answer and move on our behalf? Are we struggling to believe, thinking we can’t just ask and rely on Him to answer our prayers without adding to them in some way through our own efforts? Fox News reports that a study from the University of Maryland School of Medicine’s Department of Family and Community Medicine found that, “Adult patients experienced significant relief from pain and anxiety after just five minutes of in-person prayer,” more than from listening to five minutes of music. Scripture describes how David, as a shepherd boy, played his harp to soothe King Saul, so history documents the popular saying “music soothes the savage beast.” As 1 Samuel 16:23 describes, “Whenever the spirit from God came on Saul, David would take up his lyre and play. Then relief would come to Saul; he would feel better, and the evil spirit would leave him.” If God gave David’s music the power to bring relief, how much more has He given prayer the power to intervene in our lives? When We Ask, Do We Believe Jesus Can? Mark 9:22 reveals a man who wasn’t sure if Jesus could help his son who was being tormented, explaining and asking, “It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.” I love how Jesus answers, questioning the father and clarifying to him that it’s not a question of whether He can. It’s a given, because everything is possible with God, it just depends on our belief in Him. It’s not up to Him, but up to us to believe, because how many times before praying do we preface our requests by “Lord, if you can”? God doesn’t want us asking Him if He can; He wants us to believe that He is more than enough, as Jesus taught in John 15:7: “If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” He is calling us to believe that all things are possible with Him, as He explained in Matthew 19:26: “Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’” So if we struggle to believe, lacking in faith when we ask God, we can follow this father’s example as described in Mark 9:24: “Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, ‘I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!’” Prayer Is More Than Enough A powerful example of prayer being enough is found in the Old Testament book of Joshua. “On the day the Lord gave the Amorites over to Israel, Joshua said to the Lord in the presence of Israel: ‘Sun, stand still over Gibeon, and you, moon, over the Valley of Aijalon’” (Joshua 10:12). Many of us wouldn’t even attempt to pray such an unlikely and seemingly impossible prayer. Yet, Joshua did ask, and when he did, the following happened: “So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies, as it is written in the Book of Jashar. The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day” (Joshua 10:13). Sadly, many of us disqualify our requests to God before even asking Him, deciding that we’re asking too much or more than God can do. We make the decision ahead of time, rather than asking Him and seeing what happens. As James 4:2 explains, “You do not have because you do not ask God. Intersecting Faith & Life: Do you find yourself praying, but believing it’s not enough? Ask God to help your unbelief and to teach you how to believe that He can, and that prayer is more than enough. Elle is a baby-scoop-era domestic adoptee born in NYC in May of 1969. She was adopted 2 months later into what was supposed to be a stable, religious family. For as long as she could remember, she was aware that both she and her older brother were adopted, but the details ended there. It was understood that questions were not welcome regarding the story of their adoptions.  Growing up, Elle always knew she was radically different from her adoptive family, both physically and in personality and character. With violence and dysfunction in the home, ceasing somewhat when her adoptive father left the family when she was in grade school, she could never understand why people would say, “You should be grateful”.  This tumultuous upbringing and lack of familial connection fueled her years-long search for identity and her birth family. Encountering many twists and turns along the way as well as some heartache and joy, Elle was able to meet with some biological family members while being repeatedly rejected by others, a situation that continues to this day.  In a story that spans over 30 years, Elle was able to get most of the answers she was looking for and a small bit of closure. “Coming out of the fog” has allowed her to find healing and to assist others by sharing her story and lived experience. She is currently living in New York and working on a memoir, tentatively titled “Adopted AF – Confessions of a Mad Ungrateful Adoptee.”Elle on YouTube Season 12 Book: The Adoption Paradox by Jean Kelly Widner Eventbrite Link: Live Podcast Event in Minneapolis, MN, Sept. 11th-13th Sign up to be part of our mailing list! We're still surprised people did this but... 50+ founders worth $10M to $4B reveal their personal finances. Here it is: https://joinhampton.com/mw-wrWhy do we do this? Because if you're an aspirational person or someone who runs a business and is making money, it's incredibly challenging to figure out what to do. Information is impossible to find — and that's what we put together: the net worth reveal and why we do this podcast, Moneywise. He spends $50,000 a month and keeps $50,000 in the bank. He's 27.Mo Moahid is a 27-year-old who runs the finances for his entire family — parents, brother, sister, and seven operating companies across Canada, Dubai, and Pakistan. His great-grandfather built the family fortune. The next generation lost it. His dad rebuilt the whole thing from a sales job after immigrating to Canada, and Mo grew up watching both halves of that cycle happen in his own house. He started his first company at 18, scaled it to 200 employees, sold it at 21 for low seven figures, and now moves capital between line painting, real estate development, consumer electronics, eSIMs in 125 countries, and the AI company he started with his 21-year-old brother. This episode gets into what it actually looks like to manage generational money instead of making it: why he keeps almost nothing liquid, how a $50,000 monthly burn covers five people, what happens when your dad is the chairman and your brother is your co-founder, and how inheritance gets split between three siblings before anyone dies. We go deep on the acquisition he closed the week before we recorded, the corporate job his father made him take, and the question he's already thinking about at 27 — what he wants his own kids to inherit, and what he'd rather they didn't.Also, this podcast is made by Hampton, which is a community for founders doing on average $20 million a year in revenue. We saw a lot of these money conversations happening privately behind closed doors and we thought, "What the heck, let's make it public."
