Mal eben zur Post, paar Briefmarken kaufen, das ist nicht mehr drin! Ist es Ihnen auch schon aufgefallen? Die Briefmarkenautomaten wurden leider längst abgebaut. Und als ich letztens das große gelbe Gebäude in der Steglitzer Schloßstraße betrat und nach Briefmarken fragte, wurde ich belehrt: ‚Wir sind keine Post mehr, wir sind die Postbank.‘ Aha! Nach und nach verschwinden die Postgebäude, früher noch Postämter genannt, sind zunehmend in Kioske, Lotto- und Tabakläden integriert. Die machen ihr Geschäft ganz gut, sind oft auch mehr in der Nähe, aber einzelne Briefmarken auch hier Fehlanzeige! Nur im Zehnerpack, wenn überhaupt. Tatsächlich schreibe ich noch ab und zu Briefe und sogar Postkarten innerhalb Berlins – kleine Tradition unter Freunden. Zahle also unfassbare 95,-Cent auch für eine Postkarte und doch wird es mir so schwer gemacht, Marken zu kaufen. Am Ende muss ich sie ausdrucken, was mir missfällt - und dann der nächste Schlag: radele spätabends noch zum Nachtbriefkasten und nix mehr mit der Spätleerung 21.30 Uhr! Alle Briefkästen haben nur noch eine einzige Leerung meist am späten Nachmittag. Mein Ehrgeiz, den Brief schnell wegzubringen und am nächsten Tag ist er schon bei der Freundin – verpufft! Für mich fühlt es sich so an: ich zahle immer mehr für immer schlechteren Service. Dabei wird weiter geschrieben und Pakete werden noch und noch verschickt. Doch kündigte die Postbank, die übrigens längst zur Deutschen Bank gehört, jüngst an, das Brief- und Paketgeschäft zurückzufahren. Die Postbankfilialen selbst werden bis zum nächsten Jahr auch um die Hälfte reduziert. Alles nur noch mobil, alles nur noch auf dem Handy. Bin ich super altmodisch, das sehr sehr schade zu finden?
