On Monday's Mark Levin Show, the American Marxism movement hates American institutions and is out to destroy America. And they have an ally: Islamism. Both ideas have been forced upon us by the Democratic Party. They seek to undermine our Constitution, our Judeo-Christian belief system, the nuclear family, our schools and universities. Later, a recent 5-4 Supreme Court ruling that upheld states' post-election day ballot counting for federal offices undermines the Constitution.  This weakens fraud detection, as the president is right that mail-in voting should be limited to those who are disabled, sick, or out of town—not universal. In states like California, ballots are sent to outdated addresses, and since such states are Democratic strongholds, pressure is ineffective, yet these practices improperly affect federal elections. Also, experience shows the Iranian regime lies, cheats, adheres to no agreements, and seeks to destroy all individuals, groups, or nations not complying with its 7th-century political-religious ideology through catastrophic worldwide war involving slaughter, torture, and rape until total submission. Unlike faiths that reformed, Islamists have not. Meanwhile, Zohran Mamdani is focused on de-populating NYC of as many Jews as possible and turning into a Dearborn, Michigan or Paterson, NJ. He's making it unsafe and unlivable for Jews in the City. Finally, Director of the Ronald Reagan Institute Roger Zakheim calls in to discuss an Axios article that misleadingly headlined Republicans souring on Israel based on the Institute's survey. Zakheim clarified that Axios engaged in clickbait, as the survey and its own report actually showed the opposite: 75% of Republicans overall, and 80% of MAGA Republicans, believe U.S. security and prosperity are tied to Israel's security. The Supreme Court just ruled 5-4 that ballots arriving after Election Day can still be counted — handing Democrats another way to turn Election Night into Election Week heading into the midterms. Through a long process of gene elimination, he identified a class of sensors in the cell membrane that turn physical pressure into an electrical signal. While leading the University of California, Santa Cruz's Shakespeare Workshop, professor and dramaturg Sean Keilen noticed that people look to Shakespeare and the humanities to answer questions like “Who am I? Why am I here? The Mechanics of Genetic Drift Plants are natural genetic mosaics. As they grow and divide over time, typos naturally accumulate in their DNA code, which are known as somatic mutations. Traditional vegetative cuttings and field-grown plants accumulate these mutations at a very low, linear baseline rate over decades. However, the extreme genomic degradation highlighted in the paper is driven by rapid generational cell cycling in vitro. Forcing an unorganized mass of cells to constantly divide and regenerate bypasses the plant's normal cellular quality control checkpoints. Somatic Embryos vs. Meristem Cultures Somatic embryogenesis involves stripping a plant down to a single cell or callus phase to regenerate an embryo. This is considered high risk for mutations because if the founder cell contains a mutation, that mutation becomes permanently fixed in every single cell of the thousands of plants propagated from it. This differs from meristem tip culture, which is the low risk, predominant form of tissue culture used in cannabis for clearing Hop Latent Viroid. Because meristem tip culture preserves the existing, highly organized architecture of the shoot apical meristem rather than forcing single cells to reprogram, the genetic risk is fundamentally lower. DNA Typos vs. Chromosome Catastrophes The high-stress cell cycling environment caused macroscopic genomic errors, such as whole-chromosome duplications called trisomies. In the walnut clones, these large-scale errors made it incredibly difficult to grow the tissue back out into healthy adult plants. The stress of rapid lab cell cycling also desilenced transposable elements, or jumping genes, allowing pieces of DNA to insert themselves randomly throughout the genome and disrupt normal gene expression. It is worth noting that not all mutations are bad. Small point mutations, or single base changes, happen constantly in nature as life being life. Most occur in non-coding regions and have zero impact, while a rare few can actually create desirable new traits as seen historically in citrus and wine grapes. Genetics vs. Epigenetics The guests distinguish between true genetic mutations, which are permanent changes to the A, C, T, G code, and epigenetic modifications, which act like chemical bookmarks such as methylation that change how a gene is read without altering the underlying sequence. Some instances of a mother plant losing vigor may actually be epigenetic shifts caused by environmental stress or endophyte and pathogen buildup over time, rather than a permanent genetic mutation. Actionable Advice for Cannabis Nurseries Commercial operations scaling up clones to the tens of thousands should utilize genetic sequencing early in the pipeline. Testing the early founder material can easily catch large-scale catastrophic mutations like chromosome duplications or deletions, protecting the nursery from mass-producing defective production plants. Whole-genome sequencing costs have plummeted significantly, and the guests encourage cultivators and nursery operators with unique, degenerating, or shifting clonal lines to collaborate with academic labs to sequence the data and map exactly what is changing. Last week, we shared Part 1 of Junaliza Chappell's story. By February of 2007, Juna was preparing to leave her husband, Timothy, and start over in California with her 3-year-old daughter, Ashley.Juna had carefully crafted her exit plan. Ashley was already in California, staying with Juna's trusted friends, Frank and Grace. Juna had moved some of her belongings into a storage unit there. She had a new job waiting for her, but first she needed to attend job training in Florida. From there, the plan was for Juna to fly back to Atlanta, get her car, and drive west. But Juna never made it to California.Timothy later claimed that he picked Juna up from the Atlanta airport and took her to Walmart to pick up a prescription. He said Juna went inside and never came back out. From the beginning, there were problems with that story, and by the time investigators tried to verify it, potential surveillance footage was already gone.Then the situation became even more alarming. Juna's coworker and friend, Faye, began learning more about Timothy's past. Around that same time, Timothy seemed to disappear, too, and Ashley was with him. When Timothy was eventually found, he was driving Juna's car, and Ashley was in the backseat. For the past several summers, each of my four kids has been able to pick one work trip they want to join me on. On Friday's Mark Levin Show, WJNO's Brian Mudd fills in for Mark. If you read the news, do you feel your intelligence has been insulted? There's an old saying: those who can't do, teach. When it comes to the media, those who don't know, report. It's been a great week for the U.S. tanker traffic which has almost returned to normal pre-war levels, the price of oil has returned to normal for summer, and the Trump Administration has brokered an agreement between the U.S., Israel and Lebanon. Yet according to the media, the world is terrible. There may be two sides to every story, but there's only one side to facts. So if you think your intelligence has been insulted, you're right. Then, the Senate still can't get its act together and pass the SAVE America Act. Why is this important? Voter fraud has always existed. In Florida, the DOJ announced three arrests of non-citizens for voting in federal elections. Three cases in one week in a red state. How much worse is voter fraud in sanctuary states and cities? With the midterm elections coming up, and voter ID being a 90/10 issue with Americans, we still can't get the SAVE America Act across the finish line. Also, the election integrity project ranks election integrity all over the world. The U.S. scores 54. California's score is 35, lower than Haiti at 37. Between mail-in voting, ballot harvesting and other shenanigans, no wonder they're still counting votes in the CA primary. When you have blue states like CA bent on lowering election standards, federal minimum requirements, like voter ID, must come into play. Finally, the extent of the Democrat's long game is underappreciated. Starting with Saul Alinsky in the 1960s, then with the elections of Bernie Sanders in 1990, Barack Obama in 2004, The Squad in 2018, and Zohran Mamdani in 2025, the Democrats have moved further and further to the hard left.
