About Dr Sogol I help heal the healers. I am a board-certified pediatrician and a physician mindfulness coach. I am a mother, a wife, a daughter of immigrant parents, and a managing partner of a pediatric clinic. At the age of 40 I checked off all the boxes on my “to do list.” I reached financial, professional, and personal “freedom.” Yet I carried a chronic, overwhelming feeling of fatigue, stress, and anxiety. I questioned and pursued every medical diagnosis with no answers. My disease: Giving & Doing. I gave to others and did for others at the expense of myself. I was functioning in a state of chronic fatigue, and no amount of sleep could cure it. I could not focus or complete a single task. I felt irritable, and my anger was constantly projected onto my family and staff. Emotionally exhausted and disconnected, I set on a self-discovery journey to find MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL FREEDOM. Through mindful practices and coaching, I learned to take back full responsibility of my life by reclaiming my power and committing to myself. As India's first disruptive EdFinTech start-up for pre-teenagers- Good Good Piggy positions as a digital piggy bank and behavioural rewards platform...doubling up as an investment channel to form good habits while contributing towards their financial security. Purva is also the Ambassador of the India Chapter of Women in Tech, an international non-profit (head-quartered in Paris, France) dedicated to promoting greater diversity in tech. She is also a Financial Analyst at a private equity investment advisory firm in London and a writer, under mentorship with a leading publication for institutional investors. Today my dad passed away from cancer. It was a really heavy week. Instead of pushing through to create a new podcast episode, I am honoring my mental health. Replaying the episode from when my aunt passed away feels like the best thing to do. Grief is a healthy emotion when a loved one passes. It doesn't mean it feels good. Because it doesn't. When grief is witnessed, the healing begins. Topics: #1 What to do with triggered memories #2 Allowing a healthy mix of emotions #3 Getting support from others
Three Simple Steps To Exceeding Goals 1) Focus On Building A Business That Reflects Your Authentic Self. We really focus on creating a business foundation that's aligned with who they are because I believe that the way you create your competitive advantage comes from you and who you are, your unique experience and your unique take. 2) Get Clear On The Customer Journey We focus and get clear on your customer journey and we lead with value. So really understanding who you serve, how and their journey with you from the beginning, when you meet them to when they become clients. It's all based on the concept that I call “lead with value”. Creating win-win situations for your clients. 3) Planning And Executing A plan that's not executed well doesn't do anything. So you need to have a simple plan. When things get complicated it's very difficult to implement plans consistently. Consistency is important. So having a simple plan that you're able to implement is crucial. Focus on the most important things. High value tasks that bring you business. Some entrepreneurs get drawn into activities that feel more safe like perfecting the website forever or deciding on business cards or things like that that don't really get you in front of your potential clients. Preparing For Growth Getting clear on your messaging so that once your business grows you can successfully handle it. Some of those actions might be building a team right or establishing certain processes and so on to prepare for growth. You need to be ready to absorb the clients that will flow in. There IS No Magic Bullet Marketing Mix There isn't one magic formula to your marketing. You just pick the marketing activities that resonate with you as long as that is also aligned with who their client is. If your clients are not using tiktok, then maybe you should be on Facebook for example. Remember when your parents tell you not to talk to strangers? The online space has changed a lot about how people meet. In today's episode of Rocky Mountain Marketing, we're featuring episode 1 of Business Besties where Kendra and I talked about how entrepreneurs can build relationships online. We've only met face-to-face twice last year but it's like meeting a long-time friend. It's like having an accountability partner. It's so interesting to note, as Kendra said, "We may all have our 20-plus-year friends, but there's this only one person whom we can call and talk about anything about our business."Building relationships online doesn't always have to be about making a sale. Creating meaningful relationships with fellow entrepreneurs can benefit both parties in more ways than you can expect. We've met in Clubhouse and continued the conversation over on Instagram. Instagram DM is a great tool to establish that relationship further. It's so important that you choose that one platform you would like to grow your community and focus in there.Listen in as we talk more about our friendships over the internet and how can this benefit both your personal and business growth.Visit Kendra's website: https://girlmeansbusiness.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/girlmeansbusiness/Learn more about Katie and Next Step Social Communications: Clubhouse: clubhouse.com/@katiebrinkleyhttps://www.nextstepsocialcommunications.comlinkedin.com/in/katiebrinkleyhttps://www.instagram.com/iamkatiebrinkley/

I am skipping around in episode postings today because of “timing” and how things are aligning up in this recording and sharing. You will begin to understand why as you listen to this episode that I recorded this morning with Tom Zuba. A month ago, I never heard of Tom. I would have assumed our initial phone call to be a random occurrence, but I now know better than to think this connection and more are not random at all, in fact, the universe provides exactly what you need exactly when you need it… as long as you are open to receiving it or dare I say paying attention and being present. Tom has a very clear vision of where he wants to be and the timeframe knows it will take to get there. His conviction and clarity are so clear and energized that it makes it contagious and inspiring. Get to hear his journey, his past from losing two young children, a wife, to being on Oprah his path to healing, helping others not only heal but living their life in the present with purpose. This episode is a lesson for me in being present and learning how to process grief while having trust in knowing that we are experiencing exactly what we need to be to get us to experience the emotions encompassed in this life.

The spark of inspiration can lead to unique stories that inspire others. But telling stories and making your voice heard over and over again can lead a viral video as some of Pablo’s work has done. Knowing each story’s hook, purpose, and message help connect it to the best audience or community. If you know your purpose or the purpose you need to serve then you can begin to craft the story that needs to be heard. And always remember that it’s important to stay true to your ideals and what makes you... you!
Life is an adventure and the path one takes does not always need to be predetermined. Sometimes a person just needs the present and just lives to their best at the moment they are in. We don’t always need to have that answer “what am I going to do when I grow up?” Until we explore, learn, observe, examine, experience or whatever feels right to you. However, once you begin to get an idea or feeling stuck in your head, gut or heart and begin to feel consumed by it then you need to pay attention to where it is directing you to go and remember to stay curious on the journey.
If you think of some of your favorite success stories or failure stories you can remember “times of hardship.” Circumstances - Situations which at moment you are in them, might seem out of control for the person living them, and the younger they are, the harder it is to understand “did this happen to me or for me”. The biggest difference between a success story or a failure story is “attitude.”
On this episode of the You Assumed podcast, Chris Wachowiak and Sean Nofsinger discuss commitment to content, dedication, quality and purpose with promotional guru, Bill Petrie of PromoCorner.
The process to “create content” is definitely a journey, and as the old saying goes, “The journey of a million miles starts with a single step.” This is our second episode of “You Assumed” featuring an amazing ambassador to Rocktek Workspace, Rachel Pierce Sanders.

And you know what I've learned in the last three decades, which is so crazy to say. I was thinking back yesterday about being at this older job of mine, I think I was maybe 25 at the time. And I remember, two of my co workers saying, they love being in their 30s, the 30s are so much better than their 20s. And that they wouldn't go back. And I remember 25 year old Dia being like these people are in denial. But the funny thing is, I'm literally a few hours in and I am loving it already. I'm so excited. For this phase of my life, I'm so excited to see what 30 brings, and to feel a little bit more stable, like I always felt like a stable person. But to actually be at this new chapter and have all the things going for me that I'm blessed to have. It's crazy, and it's exciting. And I just know that this decade is going to be amazing.

If you're a Soloprenuer, there's no one to delegate to. But, that doesn't mean you shouldn't be delegating tasks outside of your core competency. Join us today for this episode of the Small Business Show as we discuss methods to use outsourcing to delegate so you can win the 10/1000 battle. We discuss outsourcing resources, how to be selective when choosing a contractor and much more. Your hosts Shannon Jean and Dave Hamilton then jump into a discussion about dispute resolutions with 50/50 partners. Shannon offers us a method of assigning votes and how to find an independent voice that can represent the business's best interests, vs you or your partners. Then it's on to the topic of Boomerang Employees. These are employees that leave your business for one reason or another, then want to come back. Should you re-hire? What questions do you need to ask yourself (and the employee) before you consider re-hiring? What message does re-hiring send to your other employees and customers? If you do decide to re-hire, should you put that person back in the same position? Does their salary change? Listen in to find out our thoughts on these employee issues and more. After the show, come share your own experiences, questions and thoughts at the Small Business Support Group. Thanks for listening to this episode of the Small Business Show! Enjoy this episode Let’s meet Melissa, Melissa is all about helping small businesses achieve efficiency and time by blending technology with marketing (https://www.cultivate-communications.com/) Melissa Blair is a serial entrepreneur and a product of 2 entrepreneurial parents. Small business is in her DNA. This is also why she is so passionate about helping other entrepreneurs. She knows all too well how much time, energy, and money it takes to run a small business. As a self-proclaimed ‘marketing geek’ she has worked with a wide variety of software systems on the market that claims to be easy to use. What she found though is that none of those tools were built for the Soloprenuer or 2-5 person companies. They were built for organizations who had a marketing staff or who could afford to hire out consultants to help them. In most cases, it still meant having to Frankenstein together numerous software tools in an effort to build a cohesive system. Her company, Cultivating Sales, has what she has nicknamed her ‘Soloprenuer Software.’ Software that has been specifically designed to incorporate the tools that a small service-based business needs and that is easy to use and at an affordable price. Key Take Aways: Taking the risk of Starting over Entrepreneurship is in her blood Any business you are in is a relationship building business Using systems to run your business is key Let’s Talk 262-373-4000 grow@cultivate-communications.com (mailto:grow@cultivate-communications.com) cultivate Communications (https://www.cultivate-communications.com/) Recommended Book (https://amzn.to/2PA06wZ) Sponsors Love the podcast? In this episode of Creatives Crushing Anxiety I chat with mentor and coach Linda Clay from LindaMClay.com. When I first came across Linda's website I was completely floored by her life story when I reached out to her about doing an episode of the podcast I was really nervous that she wouldn't want to discuss some of the personal things she'd been through that have made her the amazing person that she is Linda was so open and honest and willing to discuss some of the darkest chapters of her life with me and I'm so excited to share this with you I got so much out of my conversation with Linda and I definitely hope to have her on the podcast again soon. this episode we talked about how her how her parents depression-era mentality taught her to keep moving forward when things got tough the hardest year of her life and how she turned into a mentor and coach.
