Can anything separate us from the love of God?In one of the most powerful passages in Scripture, Romans 8:31–39 reminds Christians of the incredible assurance found in Jesus Christ. Paul answers some of life's deepest fears—guilt, condemnation, suffering, doubt, and even death—with a simple but profound truth: God is for us.In this lesson, we explore:• What Paul means when he asks, "If God is for us, who can be against us?" • How the cross proves God's love and commitment to His people • Why Christ's death, resurrection, reign, and intercession give believers confidence • What it means to be "more than conquerors" through Christ • Why suffering is not evidence that God has abandoned us • The promise that nothing can separate God's children from His loveWhether you're struggling with guilt from past sins, facing difficult circumstances, or simply needing encouragement in your walk with Christ, Romans 8 offers unwavering hope and assurance.Key Passage: Romans 8:31–39"In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us."If this lesson encouraged you, consider liking, subscribing, and sharing it with someone who needs to hear the hope found in Christ.#Romans8 #MoreThanConquerors #GodIsForUs #ChristianHope #BibleSermon #Faith #JesusChrist #NoCondemnation #NoSeparation #ChurchOfChrist

In this episode of Anchored in the Word, Dave Jenkins explains the difference between true biblical spirituality and counterfeit spirituality. In today's culture, many claim to be spiritual, yet Scripture warns that not all spirituality comes from God. True spirituality is rooted in God's Word, centered on Jesus Christ, and produces the fruit of the Spirit. Counterfeit spirituality, however, begins with the self, elevates experience over truth, and leads people away from Christ even while sounding Christian. This episode explores: • The foundation of true spirituality in God's Word • The dangers of self-centered spirituality • Why Christ must remain central • The marks of genuine spiritual fruit • Practical questions for discernment Christians are called to test everything by Scripture and to grow in discernment so that they remain anchored in Christ. Passover, the Blood of Jesus, and God's Protection in Perilous Times | KIB 524 Kingdom Intelligence Briefing Description: In this powerful episode of the Kingdom Intelligence Briefing, Dr. Michael and Mary Lou Lake shift from their planned teaching to focus on the urgent spiritual realities of this Passover season. As global tensions rise and uncertainty increases, they call the remnant to center their faith on the power of the blood of Jesus, the meaning of Passover, and the believer's need to remain aligned with God's covenant in the days ahead. Mary Lou opens with an exhortation to pray for soldiers, families, and the body of Christ, while also encouraging believers to keep their hope anchored in God's purposes. Dr. Lake then unpacks the prophetic significance of Passover, showing how it represents protection from judgment, deliverance from bondage, and the covenant security found only under the blood of the Lamb. This episode also includes a moving time of communion / the Lord's Supper, with teaching on the broken body and shed blood of Jesus, connecting Passover to both personal healing and covenant faithfulness. If you need encouragement, spiritual focus, and a renewed awareness of what Christ has accomplished for you, this episode will strengthen your heart. Shaking the City | Palm Sunday Sermon | Matthew 21:1–10 What happens when Jesus enters a city—and everything begins to shift? In this Palm Sunday sermon, Shaking the City, Dr. Lewis Galloway reflects on Jesus' entry into Jerusalem, where celebration and expectation quickly give way to something deeper. The crowds shout "Hosanna!", but beneath the surface, the whole city is stirred—unsettled, even shaken. This message invites us to consider what it means for Jesus to enter not just a city, but our lives. In this sermon, we explore: The difference between celebration and true transformation The temptation to settle for comfortable or convenient faith What it means to live fully rather than "partly living" How following Jesus may disrupt our routines and assumptions Why Christ becomes the only unshakable foundation in our lives As we begin Holy Week, we are invited not just to observe the story—but to step into it. To follow Jesus in a way that may stretch us, challenge us, and ultimately reshape how we live. Preached at First Presbyterian Church of Charlotte on March 29, 2026.

If you've ever wondered what God is like—look at Jesus. And if the church forgets truths like these… we don't just lose clarity—we lose our future.

We're all familiar with the thrill of the hunt—searching for something valuable, meaningful, or life-changing. Whether it's a hidden treasure, a priceless discovery, or a long-sought answer, the pursuit reveals what we value most. In this message from Matthew 13:44–46, Jesus tells two short parables that reveal the greatest treasure of all—the Kingdom of Heaven—and why nothing compares to it.In the parable of the hidden treasure and the pearl of great value, we see two different paths to discovery. One man stumbles upon the treasure unexpectedly, while another spends his life searching for it. Though their journeys differ, their response is the same: overwhelming joy and a willingness to give up everything else to gain what they've found. This sermon reminds us that the treasure Jesus offers isn't merely eternal life someday—it's His reign, rule, and saving work in our lives right now. When we truly see the value of Christ, it changes how we live, what we pursue, and what we're willing to release. The issue isn't what we give up—it's the greatness of what we gain.As we begin a new year, this message challenges us to take an honest inventory of our hearts. In this message, we turn to 1 Corinthians 15:20–28, where Paul shows us that Christ's resurrection is both the guarantee of our resurrection and the promise of His final victory over every enemy, including death itself. In this episode, you'll discover:Why Christ's resurrection is the “first fruits” — God's guarantee that more resurrections will follow. How Jesus, the “last Adam,” reverses the curse of the first Adam. The hope we have in the ultimate destruction of death itself. What it means to live with joyful submission to God, following the example of Christ.Because Christ is risen, we can live with confidence, hope, and assurance: there is more beyond.Support the showTo listen to my monthly church history podcast, subscribe at; https://thehistoryofthechristianchurch.buzzsprout.com For an ad-free version of my podcasts plus the opportunity to enjoy hours of exclusive content and two bonus episodes a month whilst also helping keep the Bible Project Daily Podcast free for listeners everywhere support me at;|PatreonSupport me to continue making great content for listeners everywhere.https://thebibleproject.buzzsprout.com

What if it took a near-death experience to wake you up to God's calling on your life?   In this powerful episode of The Super Human Life, Pastor Dave Scarlett shares the radical moment that shattered his corporate identity and launched him into a global mission to bring faith and freedom to a billion souls. But this conversation isn't just about Pastor Dave's story—it's about what God is calling YOU to do.   We unpack the real meaning of faith in a world full of noise, why tradition isn't enough, and how the enemy uses comfort, technology, and confusion to keep men spiritually dead. Pastor Dave also shares hard-earned wisdom on marriage, forgiveness, and finding divine purpose—even if you're stuck in a corporate grind.   If you've ever questioned your faith, felt spiritually dry, or wondered if God still speaks—this conversation will ignite something inside of you.   This isn't religion. This is war. And it's time to suit up.

Why would Jesus repeatedly speak about His death before it happened? What made His crucifixion different from any other? In this powerful resurrection season message, Pastor Roderick Webster dives into the need, nature, and impact of Christ's death—and why it changes everything. From the announcement of His death, to its necessity due to God's holiness and man's sin, to its ultimate victory over Satan and the grave—this devotion reminds us that the Cross was no accident. It was part of God's plan to restore the relationship broken in the Garden of Eden.

Send us a textSome modern believers question the deity of Christ. They challenge—and some even flat out deny—that Jesus is God. Yet, the belief that Jesus is divine goes all the way back to the earliest years of the Christian faith, and it comes straight out of the mouth of Jesus Himself , and the biblical text. So that particular doctrine of the Deity of Christ has withstood many challenges and heresies.  In this video, we look at the Scriptural reasons why Christians believe Jesus is divine and why it matters. We look at it from three different perspectives: (1.) Direct statements made by Jesus claiming to be God, (2.) Christ's indirect statements that presuppose His divinity and that would be either nonsensical or sheer evil for someone to say if they weren't God, and (3. ) we'll look at a few examples from the Bible where Jesus does things that only God can do. Defending the Biblical Roots of ChristianityOur websiteOur YouTube ChannelProf. Solberg's BlogSupport our Ministry (Thank you!)Chapters00:00 Introduction02:59 Why Christ's Divinity Matters10:15 Jesus' Direct Statements of Divinity18:38 Jesus' Indirect Statements of Divinity24:44 Jesus and God-only Things27:54 Jesus Christ, Born of a Woman29:54 Wrap it up, Professor

Welcome to this week's episode of The Follow Up from Spring Lake Church! Things are a bit different this time—it's been a busy week, and our full pastor panel couldn't come together for our usual Monday recording due to a conference near Madison. Instead, Carrie hosts and sits down with Pastor Bill, one of our three pastors who preached this week, to dive into Romans 5:12-21 and unpack the sermon's key takeaways!  In this episode, they explore:  How Adam's sin impacts all humanity (and why we play a part too)  How to live daily in the gift of righteousness  Why Christ's obedience triumphs over Adam's disobedience  What “where sin increased, grace abounded all the more” reveals about God's grace  Does grace give us a pass to sin? (Not quite—hear why!)With a packed schedule, Carrie and Pastor Bill keep the conversation going to help you reflect on Romans 5 in your own life. Join us next week for the full crew back in-studio!
