Izgalmas, őszi koncertek kapcsán kerül szóba a grunge egyik nagy ikonja, Eddie Vedder és a kaliforniai post hardcore Pierce The Veil. A brazil Icon Of Sin ironmaidenebb az Iron Maidennél! Az új albumuk is bizonyítja ezt! A Pretty Maids legendás énekese, Ronnie Atkins bármilyen beteg is, nem pihen. Friss szólólemezéről mutatunk egy dalt. Negyven éves a Metallica Kill ‘Em All korongja! Megidézzük! Underground vagy immár mainstream klasszikus a durva death metalban utazó Six Feet Under? Egy régi, nagy „slágerrel“ tisztelgünk előttük. Tarts velünk ma este is! 100% fémzene garantált!

INDIERE #74 BY RADIO CORAX, HALLE (SAALE) The 74th edition of IndieRE produced by Radio Corax mainly features artists playing on the »Rage Generation Festival« an event that is planned to happen this september in Halle (Saale). After diving a bit in the lineup we continue with more releases from Halle. This episode discovers local artists with styles & aesthetics that seem to derive from MTV. We tune in with a aong about Halle-Neustadt by Sorry3000. This brings us to a place where the Rage Generation Festival will happen. The Episode features an interview with Leonie from The Jeals who is planning the »Rage Generation Festival« at Angersdorfer Teiche in Halle-Neustadt. We will guide you through a few highlights of the festival, for example the headliner, a presumed dead band called ITCHY, who are very alive and raise nostalgic teeange rock feelings. We leave the stream of the Rage Generation mills and continue with more halle-based bands from different genres. The category »Fesch« features the song »Human« by Annisokay with the most blasting sounds of this show. Anyway the show ends soft with indie-pop tunes by L.E.A.N.D.E.R & Lightcap. We had the pleasure of interviewing Future Palace over Zoom video.Future Palace just released their brand new album “Run” via Arising Empire and have shared the video for "Dead Inside”.The song appears on the band's sophomore album Run. Get the album, which has been receiving increased attention from radio and press, such as SiriusXM, Idobi, American Songwriter, Bringin' It Backwards, A&P Reacts, Good Noise, and more, here. The release comes in CD, limited colored vinyl, and bundle formats."Dead Inside" is about the aftershocks from a toxic relationship that not only left its mark in the past, but also raises the question of how to deal with it after the fact."At the beginning of 'Dead Inside,' there was the personal experience that there are people who justify their behavior by saying that they are irrevocably and emotionally cold," says guitarist Manuel. "The track deals with a sometimes tragic situation both — lyrically and instrumentally. It reflects inner turmoil, helplessness, and anger at the same time.""Dead Inside" is the kind of song that begs to be played live, as well. "The new songs not only sound different," he continues. "They also came from different feelings. We are therefore particularly looking forward to the live shows — because capturing these feelings in music is one thing. Being able to share and express them directly is another." This is music that wants to be heard and felt — always and everywhere. For the music video, Future Palace worked with Peter Leukhardt (Annisokay, Beyond the Black, and Rising Insane.)Run was produced by Julian Breucker and Annisokay guitarist Christoph Wieczorek, who also mixed and mastered the record. The album explores the aftermath of a toxic relationship in a stunning and vulnerable way. The struggle with one's own salvation is only the beginning — even after escaping from a tough situation. The band sets these painful processes to music in dramatic post-hardcore fashion, which atmospherically reproduces the ups and downs of emotions. Kindred sonic spirits are Holding Absence, Spiritbox, While She Sleeps, Bring Me The Horizon, and Pvris.Future Palace released their debut Escape via Arising Empire and have since accumulated several million streams across streaming platforms. We want to hear from you! Following their recent signing to Napalm Records, German metalcore outfit Setyoursails have wasted no time in announcing their second album, and debut for the label, Nightfall.Blending a fresh arrangement of metalcore, death, classic hardcore and melodic undertones, Setyoursails are carving their own niche in the metal realm, largely on the back of the mesmerizing and ferocious vocal prowess of frontwoman Jules Mitch.Effortlessly switching between harmonious cleans and aggressive harsh tones, Mitch is but one component of this talented outfit who have left nothing on the bench with their new album.Featuring guest performances from Annisokay frontman Rudi Schwarzer, Andy Doerner of metalcore veterans Caliban and Mike Perez from No Bragging Rights, Setyoursails are young, enraged and ready to stake their claim in the upper echelons of metal.Mitch spoke with HEAVY earlier this week to talk about Nightfall which comes out on January 21, 2022."It's a very heavy record,” Mitch began. “We've been working on it since 2020. We went in the studio in 2020 to record it and it's very, very dark, but also has some pop elements with deep and heavy lyrics."Blending metal, hardcore, melodies and even lashings of pop doesn't sound on paper like it should work, but somehow Setyoursails manage to strike that balance."Honestly, we didn't sit down and think about how this record was going to sound. We just sat down and started songwriting. I wrote songs by myself, and our guitarist wrote songs by himself, and I believe that's why there's such a mixture on the record because we have different influences. That's the main reason it's so diverse when it comes to sound."In the full interview, Jules talks more about Nightfall, how it differs to their debut album Enough, finding the balance between genres, the guest vocalists on the album and why they were chosen, covering a Lady Gaga song, future plans and more.

New episode out now.   Venues Shifting Colours'-New album Solace out 27th August 2021 via Arising Empire German modern metal outfit Venues have released a video for their highly infectious new single 'Shifting Colours'. The track is the second single from their forthcoming album Solace, due for release on 27th August 2021 via Arising Empire. Check out the video for 'Shifting Colours' here: https://youtu.be/3RSvRsp2YGU Stream/purchase 'Shifting Colours' here: https://Venues.lnk.to/shiftingcolors Pre-order Solace in various formats here: https://Venues.lnk.to/solace From the depths of their deepest crisis, Venues emerge victoriously, welcoming two new members - clean vocalist Lela and guitarist Valentin. When former vocalist Nyves quit the band mid-tour, following the release of their pivotal debut Aspire (2019), the modern metal juggernaut was shaken to the bone.    Despite this, the remaining members refused to give up and tirelessly searched for new talent. Following guitarist Constantin witnessing a performance of Lela at (of all places) at a Steel Panther show, the band found their new clean vocalist.   Venues went into the studio with producer Christoph Wieczorek (Annisokay) to record Solace, who coated their massive sound with a metallic alloy of remarkable precision.   “We wanted to be more metal,” Robin comments. “There were some pop sensibilities of Aspire we wanted to replace with rather the opposite.”   Melody and punch-drunk heaviness, metal and alternative rock, zeitgeist and authenticity, barbed choruses and unleashed creativity: with their soaring sophomore release, Venues fulfil every single promise they gave on Aspire.   “2020 showed all of us how much the band is helping us keep our sanity,” guitarist Robin muses. “Almost the whole band went through minor or medium crises since the release of our debut. Relationships went sour, things were ended and begun. In times like these, our second album was the light at the end of the tunnel. Something we all could look forward to. Our music held our heads above water.”  It's a big leap, going from Aspire to Solace, and it's a logical one, too. Ten songs, ten exorcisms of negative energy, ten lifesavers. For fans of HEALTH, Code Orange, Nine Inch Nails and Author & Punisher, 'Coherent' is the title-track and first taste of the band's forthcoming EP, due for release on 2nd July 2021.  Check out the video for 'Coherent' here: https://youtu.be/pEeoVwIUoQw Stream 'Coherent' here: https://linktr.ee/Tayneband TAYNE's concept originated as a satire on contemporary pop music. With heavier music seeping into the mainstream, TAYNE was formed to try and test the limits of "pop music" ideologies. Heavy, industrial soundscapes serve as a juxtaposition alongside calculated, overproduced sounds and vocals with the classic verse-chorus-verse pop structures. TAYNE's music has been described as an aural assault, welding atmospheric vocals, punishing guitars and pulsating electronics to create immersive and intense sounds. The band released their album BREATHE in 2018, with themes exploring self-doubt and insecurities. Since then, TAYNE have gone on to share the stage with the likes of HEALTH and Acid Mothers Temple. The band have spent the last year recording new material with Wayne Adams of PETBRICK / BIG LAD producing and recording, starting the next chapter of their compelling journey.  TAYNE on line https://www.facebook.com/tayneband/ https://twitter.com/tayneband/ https://www.instagram.com/tayneband/   Straight away 'Coherent' has me hooked as I am greeted with Electronic sounds and some great beats over the top of this are some nice crunchy guitars I really like 'Coherent' feel like I have gone back to the 80's kinda of a Depeche mode meets pets shop boys vibe to this a plenty of energy in this       Hunted By Elephants Keep On Giving Me Loving Popular Brit rockers HUNTED BY ELEPHANTS continue their ascension with the release of their new single and video, Keep On Giving Me Loving, out now. The track is taken from the band's much acclaimed new album, Carry On, which is out now. Watch the video for Keep On Giving Me Loving, here - https://youtu.be/zWuhY4gOUeI . HUNTED BY ELEPHANTS started life during the middle part of 2018. The London-based rock 'n' rollers have picked up glowing comparisons spanning from classic rock heavyweights such as Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, through to modern genre-based counterparts: Rival Sons, Greta Van Fleet, and Queens Of The Stone Age. With a shared love for hard rock from the 1970's and beyond, HUNTED BY ELEPHANTS despatch riff-driven cuts that are soaked with an analogue warmth, and powerful and energetic drumming, all rounded out by fat low-end grooves and utterly captivating vocal lines. The foursome's debut album, Rise of the Elephant, arrived in 2019, and quickly picked up great support from the underground. The record also produced two popular singles, Unnamed and Human Eyes. Lifted by the response to their debut release, the energetic rock crew commenced work on their sophomore album, Carry On. HUNTED BY ELEPHANTS' current album, Carry On, is packed with exhilarating groove cuts, stout dynamism, and energetic riffery. The record has been hailed by a slew of sources including: Classic Rock Magazine, Powerplay Magazine, Ramzine, Fireworks Magazine and ERB Magazine. Singles from the album also garnered rampant radio airplay from Hard Rock Hell Radio, ERB Radio, and Primordial, among others. With live music poised to return later this year, the band are set to push on again. HUNTED BY ELEPHANTS' on line https://linktr.ee/huntedbyelephants https://open.spotify.com/artist/7uqY8LxecOjRaGmaRnRnXT?si=4g7zSnTlS--kOI0enZRx7w   Straight this track opens with blues infused rock riffs that hit you in the face, plenty of grove and move in this track and overall its nice and clean and the production is great, my only gripe with this is this it feels like its screaming for a bit more energy, I wanna be able to crank it up and blast this on a sunny day, but I just feels lacking that energy but this is just me, like I say the single is a good   TERMINALIST Unveil Video For Terminal Dispatch - Second Single From Debut Album The Great Acceleration    Album Out 7th of May on Indisciplinarian   Last month, Danish hyperthrashers Terminalist announced their debut album ‘The Great Acceleration' and released the first single ‘Relentless Alteration', a distinct slap of progressive thrash metal with a profound sci-fi concept delivering massively on both visceral and intellectual levels. Today, the band releases the second single ‘Terminal Dispatch' alongside a video created by director Johan von Bulöw. Terminalist's lead singer, guitarist and lyrical mastermind Emil Hansen has the following to say about the song: “Telling a story of aerial and technological advancement throughout the 20th century, ‘Terminal Dispatch' chronicles a planet ravaged by these innovations in the 21st century. To escape the escalating crises, the advanced technology of modern warfare must now be used to launch mankind into outer space, leaving the dying planet behind to find refuge in the skies.” Terminalist recently announced a release show, which will take place at Stengade in their native Copenhagen, Denmark on May 8th, with support from Throwe. Denmark is in the process of gradually lifting its long enduring lockdown, which includes letting music venues hold pandemic regulated shows once again. The clear hope is that the show will indeed go on, and the limited amount of tickets for the release show are already sold out. Several more shows for late summer and fall are being planned subject to world events.   Terminal Dispatch  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQD7WAJKWcU TERMINALIST are: Emil Hansen - Vocals and Guitar Morten R. Welcome to another episode from Setting The Tone.   To kick off this week's reviews we THE FINAL CLAUSE OF TACITUS  THE FINAL CLAUSE OF TACITUS  Emerging UK crossover crew THE FINAL CLAUSE OF TACITUS return with an exhilarating new EP, Asinine Music for the Solemn and Staid, out on Friday 14th May.   The eclectic threesome have also just delivered a brand new single and video, Something's Gonna Break - https://youtu.be/yEBN5qFMKgM . Reading-based THE FINAL CLAUSE OF TACITUS have been serving up their enticing brand of groove-heavy riffs, fused with funk and rock since their formation in 2016. Channelling everyone from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Skunk Anansie, through to Korn and Rage Against The Machine, THE FINAL CLAUSE OF TACITUS express a sound that is drenched in groove and loaded with boundless energy. Playing live shows with the likes of (Hed) P.E, Electric 6, DJ Lethal, Senser, 808 State, Hacktivist, Skindred and Crazy Town has only helped to tighten the band's sound and stage presence, and further increase their profile. To date, THE FINAL CLAUSE OF TACITUS have dropped two Eps, which garnered a raft of radio airplay and reviews, including strong praise from Kerrang! And in 2019, the band also unleashed their first full album, Antiquity, which included an accompanying full animated story. During the coronavirus lockdown, the trio began work on their next EP entitled Asinine Music for the Solemn and Staid. The record was self-mastered and self-produced across the band's own individual studios and the result is a stunning five track EP comprising collaborations with Jahred Gomes from (Hed) P.E and Georgi Valentine from Mother Vulture. Vocalist Matt Dune remarks about the record: “Born out of the flames of 2020, when the world as we knew it changed, this record tackles face first the feelings of despair and anger we all have been feeling this past year. It pulls in a more aggressive sound, producing anthems of anger with each song giving you a different message to unite in our anguish together.” Track listing: 1. Something's Gonna Break; 2. War Cry (feat. Georgi Valentine); 3. Not Today (feat. Jahred Gomes); 4. All Figured Out; 5. I Can't Talk to You. THE FINAL CLAUSE OF TACITUS on line www.facebook.com/tfcot www.instagram.com/tfcot https://open.spotify.com/artist/0TFZpjHci90btz997FqoZx     My thoughts we start the show off with a track that has a lot of energy, packed with riff and grove, I enjoyed somethings gonna break, its clear this track is heavy influenced by bands like Rage against the machine to Red hot chilli peppers and Beastie boys production is awesome on this track so many diffetnt sounds coming off it. Overall a great track to start with.   German modern metal outfit Venues have released their new single 'Rite Of Passage'. The band have also announced their new album Solace, due for release on 27th August via Arising Empire. Watch the video to 'Rite Of Passage' here: https://youtu.be/tiPFQNDrGRs Stream / purchase 'Rite Of Passage' here: https://Venues.lnk.to/riteofpassage Pre-order Solace here: https://Venues.lnk.to/solace   The thumping and monumental ‘Rite of Passage' is a very personal song, exploring the relationship with one's father, erupting into a chorus made for arenas.   From the depths of their deepest crisis, Venues emerge victoriously, welcoming two new members - clean vocalist Lela and guitarist Valentin. The band began after a long spell of illness meant that singer/guitarist Alex, had nothing else to do except write music. After recruiting the immensely talented Hayden, Liam and Dan, Palps was born. Taking influence from a multitude of 90's and early 2000's bands, Palps attempt to put their own spin on the genre. This creates a sound which is powerful, often poignant but always straight from the heart. Covering subjects such as mental health, failed relationships and finding one's place in the world, Palps is as much an outlet as it is a band. A real time window into someone's attempts to get better. After releasing their first EP 'Letters to you, that I'll never send' to an overwhelmingly positive reception in March of 2020, Palps are now looking to really establish themselves as a recognisable name within the UK scene. Multiple national lockdowns through 2020 meant the band were unable to gig for much of the year but they were due to perform in the finals of the Undiscovered battle of the bands and were nominated for originals band of the year at The Panic Awards. Aliens was originally written when I had just started a new job and was hoping to finally enjoy a new career and some financial security. I have previously struggled to hold down jobs long term due to various issues, mostly mental health related. The lyrics are about having an opportunity but ultimately knowing that you are doomed to fail. The idea that I feel like I am pretending to be normal and wishing I could deal with the monotony. Feeling like an Alien. Palps would welcome any opportunities for features, reviews or interviews       Check out Aliens here https://youtu.be/y-3oPaJGjAE     Palps online https://www.facebook.com/palpsuk https://www.instagram.com/palps_uk/ https://open.spotify.com/artist/27ZUV0lAfcK0KlksrU0sd2 https://distrokid.com/hyperfollow/palps/aliens       Palps -Aliens Aliens' a song about missed opportunity, not fitting in and craving the normal life that you know you can't have." - Palps Aliens starts with a soft gentle build of some lovely melodic guitar tones accompanied by an incredible drum fill .the track gains momentum in terms of energy and speed, its packed with hooks and plenty of melody. The track is crisp its clean, what I really love for me it's so easy to listen too something really nice to chill out too, certainly for fans of bands like hands like houses, Alex is on fire, Don Broco overall I really enjoyed Aliens its really awesome when something unexpected comes into your mail box, one of the tracks of this week.

New episode out now.    The provocative, imperious and engaging Swedish-based metal group SOEN reveal the thought-provoking and emotive video for ‘Illusion', taken from their fifth album, IMPERIAL, set for release via Silver Lining Music on January 29th 2021.   Founder members Joel Ekelöf (vocals) and Martin Lopez (drums), along with Lars Enok Åhlund (keyboards and guitar), Oleksii “Zlatoyar” Kobel (bass) and Cody Ford (lead guitar), are an undeniable cypher for all the issues and emotions which swirl around us. The outfit once more step up to challenge our perceptions of life and humanity with ‘Illusion', an addictive ballad brimming with bewitching guitar riffs, powerhouse-soaring chorus and a poignant message for all of us to reflect on.   “Illusion is a song about the shared responsibility amongst us if we wish to improve the world, change has to be made by us, you and me...the people” asserts Lopez. “It's about the frustration of feeling powerless but also the hope in realizing that things can be changed for the better” further Lopez, “if we stop criticizing each other and making enemies of ourselves by blindly following the ideas of politicians and their media.”   Ekelöf affirms: “we can't just sit around and wait for those in power to help, they are preoccupied with battling each other in matters of greed and power.”   “The ‘Illusion' video is about dreamers” comments video producer, Daniele Zed Berretta. “There are people who are ready to lose everything to follow their dreams, no matter the cost. Others are afraid of making dreams come true, so they stop right before fulfilling them, just to keep dreaming.”   The video follows the tale of a father and daughter in their quest for survival in a dystopian universe. Watch the video for 'Illusion' here or by clicking the image below. MPERIAL will be released on January 29th 2021, via Silver Lining Music. Available as a CD Digipak, vinyl album, digital formats and special D2C bundles. To pre-order click here. SOEN: Joel Ekelöf – Vocals / Martin Lopez – Drums / Lars Enok Åhlund – Keyboards and Guitar / Oleksii “Zlatoyar” Kobel– Bass / Cody Ford – Lead Guita Band links soenmusic.com My thoughts  SOEN - Illusion My thoughts It has a lyrical softness of Shinedown meets the escapism of pink Floyd This track has soft tones and yet it's still able to be powerful and hit it's a track that will have you mesmerized and yet still be able to transport you to what feels like another reality Lyrically its awesome, the guitars are out of this world as I've said the tones are soft be powerful, it well produced and it's a track that will pull you in. Next track this week   A New Tomorrow - "A New Tomorrow  MODERN BRIT ROCK CREW DETAIL NEW CINEMATIC VIDEO! UK hard rockers A NEW TOMORROW surge into 2021 with a brand-new video for their namesake single, A New Tomorrow. The video is a striking cinematic version of the single and its out now via Frontiers Music. Check it out here - https://youtu.be/vc0ZVWyIfWw . A NEW TOMORROW were Formed in London by vocalist/guitarist Alessio Garavello, and bassist Andrea Lonardi. The dynamic duo were later joined by drummer Tim Hall and guitarist Michael Kew. Harnessing influence from colossal heavyweights such as Foo Fighters, Alter Bridge and Incubus, the quartet have worked tirelessly to hone in on a sound that fuses uplifting and melodic hard rock. To date, A NEW TOMORROW have toured and played a slew of successful shows right across the UK, and throughout most of Europe. Along the way, the tuneful rockers have supported the likes of Fates Warning, Freedom Call, and Thousand Foot Krutch, to name a few. Serving up a barrage of furious riffs coupled with ultra-melodic hooks, it was only a matter of time before industry interest beckoned. In December 2019, A NEW TOMORROW released their debut album, Universe, via Frontiers Music, and widespread critical acclaim soon followed with Metal Hammer Italia, Powerplay, and a host of other publications. The foursome then released a new single and fresh take of their self-titled track, A New Tomorrow, last Autumn - https://youtu.be/xEJcixIoZBc with a stripped-down piano version as a bonus track. The band remark: “We originally intended the cinematic version to be only a B-side to the main single, but we were so impressed with how it turned out, we had to do it justice with its own video”. This new cinematic version showcases the band in a whole new light, and with the next album already in process, A NEW TOMORROW will continue to break new boundaries in 2021 and beyond. The track is taken from the forthcoming 5-track instrumental EP, The Third Chimpanzee, out 29 January 2021.  Like a recurring nightmare that gets more vivid as time passes, the video draws on the pulsating beat of the track, taking us further into the torment as the video draws to a climax. “I resynthesized my voice and used warped delays and other manipulation effects on ‘Howler.'  The end result was a sound that wasn't quite human, more monkey like.” Martin said of the track. “I really liked the idea of blurring the lines between monkeys and humans. Sometimes I think we just feel that we're so evolved, and that we're so much better. I have been questioning that quite a lot recently.” NYSU said of the video, “On first hearing ‘Howler' there was a feeling of being inside a Monkey's brain, its consciousness. It was brutal and primitive but, at the same time, so smart and almost human. The video is an attempt to reflect that, portraying the precise moment when apes evolved into a man or maybe a human regressed into an animal form.”   Watch the video for ‘Howler' HERE Today, Thursday 28th January at 3pm EST/8pm GMT/9pm CET, Martin will exclusively broadcast the full EP live through his Facebook page for the first time, providing commentary during the stream. The Third Chimpanzee will be released digitally, on CD and on Azure Blue Vinyl the following day. It's been five years since Martin released his acclaimed instrumental album MG. In 2017 Depeche Mode released their global monster Spirit and were recently inducted into the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame. Tune into some of Martin's influences and favourite acts with his ‘Escaping 2020' playlist HERE. links Pre-order the EP: https://mute.ffm.to/mg-ttc  Listen To 'Mandrill': https://youtu.be/DppPzGLjN6s Howler' on YouTube: https://youtu.be/osewmILqfck   BRAND OF SACRIFICE – Animal    Thursday, January 28th, 2021- Canadian deathcore wrecking crew, Brand of Sacrifice, have treated fans to the latest cut of unrelenting, face pummeling gnarliness today with the release of "Animal" - the third track to be released from the band's highly anticipated new album, 'Lifeblood' (out March 5th via Blood Blast Distribution). The new track was exclusively premiered with Loudwire yesterday, who called the new track 'Savagely Brutal' and added "What makes Brand of Sacrifice's sound so compelling is the insane control they have over the chaos that results from a truly wide range of influences.".    Accompanying the new track is a beautiful, cinematic video featuring epic battles between Samurai sword wielding warriors. Watch the video here or by clicking the image below. Find 'Animal' on your streaming platform of choice here.       Since 2018, Toronto-based deathcore quintet Brand of Sacrifice have been imprinting their mark on the heavy music scene. Dubbed ‘The Branded Ones,' the group's fans joined and marched with them as they tore across the globe in support of debut EP 'The Interstice' and LP statement 'God Hand' which debuted at #20 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums Chart.   Other highlights to a whirlwind cycle for 'God Hand' included a slot on The Summer Slaughter Tour with Carnifex, Cattle Decapitation, The Faceless and Lorna Shore, a world tour with tech vets Rings of Saturn, plus a tour with fellow upcoming deathcore titans Shadow of Intent.   Brand of Sacrifice have spread their wings for sophomore LP 'Lifeblood' which will be released with help from Blood Blast Distribution on the digital end. The production is even more pummeling, exemplified by laser-sharp structures and a wide-gulf of dynamics. The album takes catchy to another level, with choruses comprising string orchestrations and synths, alongside bludgeoning breakdowns.   The band draws its name from popular anime series Berserk by Kentaro Miura. 'Lifeblood' focuses on the series' dark horse protagonist Guts, a lone wolf who faces demons both inside and out in a post-apocalyptic world.   Fans at any Brand of Sacrifice show will be familiar with set-closer “Eclipse” and its ending chant of, “Welcome to the new age.” With 'Lifeblood', it's evident the band have ushered in yet another, even fresher era from which there is no turning back.     Find Brand Of Sacrifice Online BrandOfSacrifice.com    My  thoughts BRAND OF SACRIFICE – Animal I'm going to start off and be honest I found this to be a very very strange experience, for me it has the feel of cradle of filth meets dimmi borgi, there some great elements to this track lots of different sounds from different genres mixed, for me I can say I've listened to it but did not get it, perhaps you guys will.   ANNISOKAY - Like A Parasite    German metalcore quartet ANNISOKAY have released new single / video 'Under Your Tattoos', taken from new album Aurora, out today via Arising Empire. Watch the video for 'Under Your Tattoos' here: 'Under Your Tattoos' follows previous singles 'The Cocaines Got Your Tongue', 'The Tragedy', 'Bonfire Of The Millennials', 'STFU', 'Like A Parasite' and 'Face The Facts', which have been streamed collectively over eight million times on Spotify.  Aurora is now available in digital, CD and vinyl formats, as well as a special limited edition fan box. Purchase / stream the album here: https://Annisokay.lnk.to/Aurora Aurora sees ANNISOKAY reinventing themselves, welcoming new frontman and heavy vocalist Rudi Schwarzer - a long-time friend of the band - who stepped into the role in late 2019. Once again guitarist/clean vocalist Christoph Wieczorek oversaw production duties on the album, which is full of heavy riffs, driving percussion, melodic, goosebump-inducing cleans and aggressive shouts.  Formed in 2007, ANNISOKAY are at the forefront of German metal with their cutting edge sound, which has earned them huge success at home and has seen them breakthrough internationally. The four-piece have embarked on successful tours throughout Europe, the UK, Japan and the USA, including several headline shows in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine, a US run with I Set My Friends On Fire, two sold-out shows in Russia supporting Parkway Drive, and, more recently, the Xmas Bash Tour with Emil Bulls, which marked Schwarzer's first tour with the band.  ANNISOKAY's first three studio albums were released through Long Branch Records/SPV, all of which charted in the Top 100 Official German Album Charts. In 2018, the band signed to Arising Empire to release their fourth studio album Arms, which reached #26 and marked their highest chart entry to date. ANNISOKAY will embark on a European headline tour in 2021, with support from Future Palace and Set Your Sails. ANNISOKAY socials www.annisokay.com www.facebook.com/annisokay www.instagram.com/annisokay www.twitter.com/annisokay My thoughts ANNISOKAY - Like A Parasite  Another track from another band who are not afraid to mix genres and try different things, Like A Parasite offers some heavy guitar tones but with a real punch, a melodic chorus that has a natural hooks crossing over into its heavier elements which is awesome some great production on the track, really enjoyed the video for this one make sure to check it out       Lastly our latest single of the week The Hara Black Soul Ceremony ‘out today, is this week's hot track of the week   The hara who are 3 piece from Manchester are for me right now one of the uk most exciting bands right now with so much energy and drive, they are a band to keep an eye.   Check out Black Soul Ceremony video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AJVKfpZI3I&list=OLAK5uy_niUDXG9wUNrrTREFcew8UBFsdBbUN-9hM   Right now, I believe this is number two on the Itunes singles chart, further proof of how exciting these guys are     The Hara Social links https://theharaband.com/?fbclid=IwAR17jOA0pLPXK6L50z8GidKVzvQJJoKymK08_NUsJkSaUPB7XkaFt4hxJK8 https://twitter.com/theharaband https://www.facebook.com/TheHaraBand/ https://www.instagram.com/theharaband/ https://www.snapchat.com/add/theharaband https://www.youtube.com/theharaband https://www.tiktok.com/@theharaband?   My thoughts The Hara Black soul ceremony, opens with a sexy riff vocally and lyrically these boys have delivered something incredible. It's a track packed with melody and hooks and comes at you with so much energy and this is exactly what The Hara, are about energy in their songs and even thou I am yet to see them live I would imagine that same energy transmits across live, really love the energy and the production in this track a massive favourite of mine this week.   You can find this episode and previous episodes from Setting The Tone in the below links Spotfiy https://open.spotify.com/show/6Jj9SsrXxve44839dptihN… Apple https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/setting-the-tone/id1499390718 Google https://podcasts.google.com/?q=setting%20the%20tone podbean https://Settingthetone2.podbean.com   Thank you to our sponsor @The Guitar Ninja Academy, the best place to become a guitar master.
