Le 24 août dernier, Emmanuel Macron a dévoilé un projet de parcs d'attractions sur l'ancien site de l'éphémère parc Mirapolis à Courdimanche (Val-d'Oise). Le projet est porté par l'Arabie saoudite qui prévoit d'investir 6 milliards d'euros.Il est question pour l'instant de trois parcs, dont un sur le thème de Dragon Ball, mais il y a beaucoup de flou autour de ce projet ambitieux. Il n'y a par exemple pour l'instant pas de calendrier officiel ni d'autorisation des ayants droit du manga. Dans le Val-d'Oise, cette annonce a entraîné des réactions divisées, entre espoir pour l'emploi et inquiétudes, notamment pour l'environnement.
