Easy Rider is not a good movie. It's a chaotic, half-improvised, drug-fueled mess that stumbles for its first half and only becomes a movie in retrospect, once the ending lands. And that's exactly why Chris and Daniel keep coming back to it. Joining them is Richard Crudo, ASC, who spent years in friendship with László Kovács, the film's cinematographer, and brings firsthand insight into how a low-budget biker-movie veteran ended up accidentally rewriting what cinematography was allowed to look like. Flares, handheld chaos, a single zoom lens pushed past its limits, film stock literally dropped in a bathtub. Every mistake became doctrine. The conversation keeps circling back to a bigger question: why does a movie built entirely out of accidents still work, and what does that tell filmmakers chasing polish today? AI is already changing what students believe they should study, but maybe we're asking the wrong question. Joe and Robert discuss whether college should be less about choosing the perfect major and more about giving young people four years to think critically, read widely, write, speak, create, debate and become better prepared for whatever comes next. The guys also look at the rush of major brands into Hollywood and entertainment. As traditional media struggles, companies including Gap, Toyota and Kraft Heinz are moving beyond sponsorships and building entertainment properties of their own.  Winner and Loser Joe's winner is Raising Cane's, a company that turned extreme focus around one product into a remarkable brand, community and culture. The most damning detail? The Crocs apparently weren't in sport mode. That's how you know this guy fears neither God nor law enforcement.And then comes Oreogate.A kindergarten mom reportedly asks the other parents to stop packing Oreos because her daughter gets upset when other kids have them. No allergy. No medical issue. Just the brutal realization that another five-year-old has cookies and you do not. When the other parents refuse to reorganize their children's lunches around this international crisis, Mom considers switching schools.Over Oreos.Meanwhile, the kid starts trading for them anyway, proving once again that kindergarten cafeterias are basically tiny prisons with better wall art.
