(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Chinese Communists imprison three church leaders Communist officials in China sentenced three church leaders to prison last month for alleged fraud. Pastor Li Jie and Elder Han Xiaodong received sentences of three years and eight months. Elder Wang Qiang received a sentence of one year and 11 months. They're from Linfen Covenant Home Church in China's northern Shanxi Province. The case has involved years of surveillance, arrests, and court delays. A statement from the church denounced the unjust sentencing, saying their leaders are “suffering for righteousness' sake and are willing to take up the cross with the Lord.” In Matthew 16:24-25, Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.” Irish pro-lifers upset 50,000 babies killed since 2019 Thousands of people attended a pro-life rally in Dublin, Ireland on Saturday. People held signs and flags that said “Life Will Win” and “Stop Aborting Our Future.” Since 2019, over 50,000 unborn babies have been murdered in the womb in Ireland. Sandra Parda with The Life Institute said, “This is an issue the media wants to ignore, but how can we be blind to 50,000 lives ended in just over six years. It represents more than 100 schools or thousands of classes of children. It's part of Ireland's future growth and development and innovation ended before birth.” President Trump to visit flood-ravaged Texas In the United States, President Donald Trump announced he will visit Texas on Friday in the wake of catastrophic flooding there.  Flash floods hit central Texas last Friday, killing at least 108 people. Most of the deaths were in Kerr County where 30 children died. Many of them were from Camp Mystic, a Christian girls camp.  Local officials have reportedly been dodging questions about their emergency response preparedness. U.S. Coast Guard rescue swimmer saved 165 lives at Camp Mystic During the tragic flooding, a U.S. Coast Guard rescue swimmer has emerged as a hero. Twenty-six-year-old Scott Ruskan and his crew were called in to help at Camp Mystic. He described his experience on ABC's Good Morning America. RUSKAN: “I got on scene, boots on the ground at Camp Mystic. Discovered I was the only person there as far as First Responders go. “So, yeah, I had about 200 kids. All scared, terrified, cold, having probably the worst day of their life. And I just kind of need to triage them, get them to a higher level of care.” Having only been a rescuer swimmer with the Coast Guard for six months, this was literally his first rescue mission. RUSKAN: “When I got on scene, there was 200 kids looking for someone for some sort of comfort and safety. They don't really know what my experience is or my rank or my age. They just know, hey, this guy's a professional and he's here to help us. And I kind of had to live up to that standard.” Remarkably, Ruskan is credited with saving 165 lives. However, he praised  the courage of the children he rescued, calling them the real heroes. RUSKAN: “The real heroes, I think, were the kids on the ground like those guys are heroic. And, you know, they were dealing with some of the worst times their lives, and they were staying strong, and that helped inspire me to kind of get in there and help them out.” Elon Musk talks about forming The American Party On Saturday, Elon Musk announced the formation of his new political party. He wrote on X, “When it comes to bankrupting our country with waste and graft, we live in a one-party system, not a democracy. Today, The America Party is formed to give you back your freedom.” The tech billionaire said he will focus on the U.S. House and Senate over the next 12 months. Musk says the America Party will support free speech, the Second Amendment, reduced debt, and reduced regulations.   Appearing on PBS News, Amy Walter of the Cook Political Report offered her analysis. WALTER: “Whether a third party goes anywhere and what he does with that, it feels like this is a person who's been upset by his experience within the current political system. So, he says, I'm going to take my ball, go home, and then make my own party. “The reality is he could have much more influence on politics if he took some of his millions and billions of dollars and actually focused it on a certain number of candidates or races of candidates who felt similarly to him on many of these issues. “Clearly, the fiscal issue in terms of the deficit is the one driving him in this case. But he has a lot of other policies that, if he funded a candidate on the Democratic or Republican side, would be really more efficient than starting another party.” IRS: Churches cannot lose tax-exempt status if they endorse candidates The Internal Revenue Service said in a court filing Monday that churches should not lose their tax-exempt status if they endorse political candidates from the pulpit. In the case, the IRS is joining churches and Christian groups in challenging the Johnson Amendment. The 1954 provision of the tax code prohibits 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations from engaging in political activities.  The IRS said, “Communications from a house of worship to its congregation in connection with religious services through its usual channels of communication on matters of faith do not run afoul of the Johnson Amendment as properly interpreted.” Family is top value of Americans And finally, Gallup released a new poll on the most important values to Americans. U.S. adults were the most likely to rank family as their top value, followed by freedom, health, integrity, and faith. Family is the most important value for nearly all major subgroups in the survey. The most notable exception is for those who attend religious services weekly. While family is important to them, faith is even more important.  In Matthew 22:37-38, Jesus said, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the first and great commandment. The EO revokes collective bargaining rights for over a million federal workers, hindering their ability to organize and improve working conditions. o   In January 2025, an executive order paused the planned increase of the minimum wage for federal contract workers to $17/hour, reversing wage gains for thousands of low-wage employees. o   In March 2025, another executive order directed the Department of Labor to halt enforcement of protections against misclassification for independent contractors, adopting a worker-unfriendly test that limits employee eligibility for wage and hour protections. ·      Illegal ICE & DHS workplace raids: ICE, racing to fulfill the Trump Administration's goal to increase deportations, is increasingly targeting work sites for immigration sweeps in LA and other major cities. In addition to loss of essential income for workers who are afraid to show up for work, this escalation is a chilling effect on businesses and local communities. Non-lobbying Advocacy Advocacy can take many forms, and lobbying is just one form. Your organization can engage in non-lobbying activities like: Organizing, educating the public, conducting research, executive branch and regulatory activities, training and litigation are just a few examples.   ·      Educating the Public o   Nonprofits that support immigrant workers, such as The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), are sharing "know your rights” info, so workers are better prepared if stopped by immigration officials. Other groups provide information for employers, such as the National Employment Law Project's What to do if Immigration Comes to Your Workplace. ·      Identify & advocate to supportive government officials: o   Find your allies in government and encourage them to continue to defend their communities. Many nonprofits have lauded Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass' and California Governor Gavin Newsom's public criticism of the federal government's actions in LA, describing the deployment of military forces to the city as an overreach and a violation of state sovereignty. ·      Holding a Rally o   In February, federal workers organized coordinated “Save Our Services Day of Action” events in multiple cities to build a broader network of support and to put pressure on the administration and Congress to block the illegal firing of fed workers ·      Litigation as Advocacy o   A multi-state coalition of nonprofits, unions, and local governments sued the Trump Administration over mass layoffs of federal workers without approval of Congress. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Indian legislator offers money to assassinate evangelists and pastors A member of a district legislative council in India has announced a bounty on Christian evangelists.   In a public speech, BJP Legislative Assembly Member Gopichand Padalkar allegedly issued a rate card for the assassination of various Christians, the highest amount offered for the killing of pastors. Members of the Christian community in the area are asking that police open a case against the legislator for inciting violence and spreading hatred. Under such treacherous conditions, would you pray for the safety of Christians in India? Iranian Christians losing hope about regime change World News Group reports that Christians in Iran are losing hope now for any possible regime change. During the week following the U.S. strikes, 1,000 people were arrested and falsely accused of spying for Israel, many of whom were Christians.  Some were executed.  The report quotes a 40-year-old Christian woman. She said, “Nobody welcomes wars, but at this point, war seems to be the most viable solution [for a regime change]. The oppressed people of Iran have used every opportunity to free themselves of this terrorist group in control. Every peaceful protest is cracked down upon in the most brutal way. We hoped these conflicts would give us a chance to fight for freedom by having military forces eradicated by Israel, just like the Israeli prime minister promised us.” An opinion survey conducted in 2022 by a Netherlands institute, found that, on a sample size of 158,000 people, over 80% of Iranians rejected the Islamic Republic and would prefer a democratically-elected government. Texas Governor called for a Day of Prayer for flood victims The latest count of the deceased in the Texas flooding tragedy has now reached 100, 27 of whom include children and counselors from a Christian girls camp known as Camp Mystic, reports ABC News. Davin Williams, the camp nurse, was heartbroken. WILLIAMS: “We had no idea people were missing. We had no idea that they had to wade through water, barely able to stand to get to the pavilion. I didn't even realize the gravity of the situation until we saw helicopters flying over us.” Over the weekend, Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott called for a day of prayer. The governor said, “This is a time when we, as a state, need God more than ever.”   ABBOTT: “All we know is that prayer does work. Your prayers have made a difference. We ask for continued prayers as we continue our efforts to locate everybody who has been affected by this. “Pray so much for the families who have lost a loved one, who are going through challenging times that they never imagined on the third of July that something like this would happen. Prayer matters!” In less than one hour, the Guadalupe River had surged 26 feet up the banks, causing the majority of the wreckage.  This looks like the worst disaster since the 1953 Waco tornado which killed 114 people and injured another 597.  Habakkuk 3:2 is a cry for mercy:  “O LORD, I have heard the report of You, and Your work, O LORD, do I fear. In the midst of the years revive it; in the midst of the years make it known; in wrath remember mercy.” King Charles III and royal family support homosexual pride King Charles III and the royal family in London showed support for the annual homosexual pride march via  social media over the weekend. The Royal Family X account featured the Royal Band playing the iconic homosexual/transgender anthem entitled, Pink Pony Club, which was originally released by Chappell Roan. The royals drew attention to the sinful celebrations by adding in the caption: "#Pride2025," alongside emojis of a rainbow, disco ball, and sparkles. In reaction, one person wrote, “What a terrible post. No wonder at the coronation the King chose not to say 'defender of the Faith.' The monarchy ended with our beloved late Queen Elizabeth II.” And another asked, “Isn't the King the head of the church of England? He shouldn't be promoting sins.” 35,000 Brits participated in the march, supported also by the King's Royal Guard, reports Parade.  Spanish bill would imprison pastors who help “gays” or transgenders Spain is considering a bill that would imprison pastors who employ any “methods, programs, techniques or procedures of aversion or conversion, whether psychological, physical, pharmacological or of any other nature, intended to modify, repress, eliminate or deny their sexual orientation, sexual identity or gender expression,” reports The Christian Post. The lower house approved the bill by an overwhelming vote of 311 to 33.   Interestingly, Spain's Gross Domestic Product has been in a slump for 16 years. 25% tariff on Japan and South Korea; 30% on South Africa Yesterday, President Donald Trump announced a 25% tariff to be imposed on Japan and South Korea, and a 30% tariff on South African imports, effective August 1st, reports NBC News. The tariffs will be subject to negotiation, as the announcement suggested “perhaps” a reconsideration, “depending on our relationship with your Country,” in Trump's words. South Africa has seen no measurable growth in its GDP this year. The nation's economy is stagnating. Also, both the South Korean and Japanese economies contracted slightly in the first quarter of this year. India now fourth largest economy worldwide India is replacing Japan this year as the fourth largest economy in the world, according to initial estimates. Japan was the second largest economy in the world between 1988 and 2010, but its Gross Domestic Product has not improved since 1995 -- 30 years ago. The International Monetary Fund projects that the BRICS eastern nations of China and India will take the #2 and #3 positions as the strongest economies in the world by 2030. Thanks to Javier Milei, Argentina's economy is rebounding Argentina's economy is doing better. Since President Javier Milei's election in 2023, the country's annual inflation rate has reduced from 211.4 percent in 2023 to 43.5 percent by mid-2025. Remarkably, Milei cut 27% of the state budget and laid off thousands of government employees in his first year in office (last year), after which the economy took a small hit.   But recovery appears to be on its way for Argentina. The nation's GDP got a 5.8% boost in the first quarter of 2025. Congressional Budget Office predicts $1.9 trillion deficit this year The U.S. President's budget proposed for 2026, includes the identical base discretionary spending projection as Biden's previous budget - $1.6 trillion. The proposed budget includes an increase in spending of $155 billion for Homeland Security and Defense, and significant decreases in Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, and international welfare programs. The Congressional Budget Office is projecting a $1.9 trillion deficit this year, the third-highest deficit in American history. Keep in mind the biblical principle from Deuteronomy 15:5-6. It says, “…Carefully obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe with care all these commandments which I command you today. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Pakistani Christian girl, kidnapped for two years, escapes A Pakistani Christian girl, who this month escaped the Muslim who kidnapped her, said he forcibly converted her to Islam and repeatedly sexually assaulted her as his so-called “wife,” reports Morning Star News. On the night of May 24, 2023, as her family slept, 14-year-old Muskan Liaqat was kidnapped at gunpoint from her home in Sheikhupura District, by Muhammad Adnan and his father Muhammad Arif. Muskan said, “They took me to their home, where they tortured me and forcibly took my thumb impressions on some papers. I was later told that I had become a Muslim and Adnan was my husband.” A member of the Salvation Army church, Muskan said she was treated as a sex slave. She said, “I was raped and beaten by Adnan … on almost a daily basis. As a result of repeated sexual abuse, I got pregnant in 2024.” Severe torture by Adnan resulted in a miscarriage in the fourth month of her pregnancy. She said, “I used to cry all night and prayed to God to rescue me from this hell, but it looked like my prayers were not reaching Him.” The trauma led her to attempt suicide by cutting her wrist. Judges routinely ignore evidence related to the children's ages, handing them back to kidnappers as their “legal wives.” Thankfully, she got away and is now in a safe house. According to Open Doors, Pakistan, which is 96% Muslim, is the eighth most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. South Korean doctor charged with murder after full-term abortion On July 2nd, a South Korean doctor was arrested and charged with murder following the abortion of a full-term baby last year, reigniting national debate over the country's ambiguous abortion laws and medical ethics, reports LifeSiteNews.com. On June 28, Judge Park Jeong-ho of the Seoul Central District Court approved arrest warrants for the surgeon, identified as Shim, and the facility's director, “Yoon.” Authorities allege the child was born alive and then deliberately left to die, which they say amounts to murder through “willful neglect.” The case dates back to late 2024. Evidence suggests that the baby was alive both before and after the procedure. The abortion was allegedly committed via labor induction – a method that, if resulting in a live birth followed by intentional death, could meet the legal definition of murder under Korean law. The Korean Medical Association condemned the incident, stating: “A fetus at 36 weeks is a baby who could survive well if born, and terminating a pregnancy at this stage is tantamount to murder.” Psalm 139:13-14 says, “For You [God] created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Trump's Big Beautiful Bill defunded Planned Parenthood Trump's “Big Beautiful Bill,” which he signed into law on Friday, July 4th, defunded Planned Parenthood for a year, reports LifeNews.com. The defunding provision, outlined in Section 44126 of the bill, effectively terminates Medicaid reimbursements to Planned Parenthood for non-abortion services, closing a loophole that has allowed the organization to access federal funds despite the Hyde Amendment's ban on direct taxpayer funding for abortions. Pro-life critics have argued that those Medicaid reimbursements indirectly paid for the abortion giant to kill more babies by abortion. It is the first time that the radical Planned Parenthood abortion business has been defunded. The vote, as we reported on Friday, was 218-214. The new law will redirect hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to community-based, pro-life healthcare providers and away from Planned Parenthood and Big Abortion. Planned Parenthood, which kills over 400,000 babies in abortions annually, received $700 million in taxpayer funds last fiscal year. Death toll in Texas flash floods climbs to 79, 40 remain missing At least 70 people are dead in central Texas after devastating flash floods slammed the Texas Hill Country, with water rescues taking place along the Guadalupe River, which rose rapidly early Friday morning to the height of a two-story building, reports CBS News. (Watch this video to see the rushing water in Center Point, Texas which tears down trees and threatens a bridge.) A dozen are still missing from Camp Mystic in Kerr County, a children's Christian summer camp. 13-year-old Stella Thompson, a camper who survived, talked with the Dallas NBC affiliate. THOMPSON: “You'd see kayaks in trees. It was horrific, because we had no idea. First responders in the water. There were huge trees ripped out of the ground.” Tragically, in a last act of kindness, Richard Eastland, the director of Camp Mystic, died trying to save campers as floodwaters from the Guadalupe River overwhelmed the camp, which is on the banks of the river, reports the San Antonio Express-News. More than 750 girls were at the camp when the flooding struck. The dead include 38 adults and 21 children, with 18 of the adults and four of the children unidentified.  Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott spoke from the heart. ABBOTT: “When Texans face a challenge, we come together, we unite. We will be relentless in going after and ensuring that we locate every single person who's been a victim of this flooding event. We're not going to stop today or tomorrow. We will stop when the job is completed. This is a 24/7 operation, day and night. A 22-year-old woman, who was carried by the raging waters 20 miles from Hunt, Texas to Center Point, survived as she clung to a tree. Carl, who lives along the Guadalupe River, explained what happened to KENS-TV 5. CARL: “True miracle. There's no other way to explain it. “I came up on the deck and she saw me. So, she started to scream out loud. I thought she was in the water going down the river. I finally looked and was able to spot her in the tree. I began to holler back to her. ‘Hey, I see you. We'll get you help. Hang on. Hang on.' Because she was desperate! “After they were able to pluck her out, we brought her into our house and gave her a shower, clothed her because it had stripped all of her clothing off, gave her something to drink, gave her a nap. We called her grandmother in Corpus.” Thankfully, she had no broken bones and only a small wound on the top of her head. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Muslim mob disrupts Christian retreat in Indonesia On June 27, a mob of 200 Muslims stormed a Christian youth retreat at a home in Indonesia, driving out participants and damaging property, as police and soldiers looked on reports Morning Star News. Ironically, after praying at the mosque that Friday, they carried banners and shouted, “Destroy that house, destroy that house.” – referring to the home in Cidahu District in the West Java Province. They damaged windows, toilets, a gazebo, and garden. Claiming that a house should not be used as a place of worship, the Muslim mob also threw a motorbike into a nearby river and damaged the main gate. Videos circulating online show a man climbing a wall and removing a wooden cross attached to it, which he then uses to break a window. House sends Big Beautiful Bill to Trump's desk On July 3, the House of Representatives passed the One Big Beautiful Bill to implement President Donald Trump's agenda, sending it to the president's desk, reports The Epoch Times. The bill cleared the House in a 218–214 vote, following an all-night session as Republicans scrambled to win over holdouts who had derailed an earlier attempt to advance the 940-page measure. House Speaker Mike Johnson was exuberant. JOHNSON: “This is the vote tally card. We're gonna frame this one. Okay? 218-214.” The vote also came after Democratic Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries held the floor — for what C-SPAN confirmed was a new length record — to lambast the bill for more than eight hours. The only two Republicans who voted against it were Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky and Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, alongside the entire House Democratic Caucus. House Speaker Johnson said the Republicans knew they had to get Trump's bill passed in light of the gift of unified government. JOHNSON: “We believed in the election cycle last fall that we were going to be given this great blessing of unified government, that we would have the White House and the Senate and the House aligned -- unified government. “We had a tough four years before this last election cycle. America was in, we were in deep trouble. We knew that if we won, and we believed we would, we knew that if we got unified government, we'd have to quite literally fix every area of public policy. Everything was an absolute disaster under the Biden-Harris radical, woke, progressive Democrat regime.” The legislation enacts many of Trump's domestic policy initiatives, including tax cuts as well as boosting spending for the border and defense. The passage marks a major victory for Republican leadership and Trump, who had to contend with a diverse group of holdouts who objected to the Senate's version of the bill for various reasons, including its effect on the deficit and deeper cuts to Medicaid. House Speaker Johnson, an Evangelical Christian, expressed his gratitude to God. JOHNSON: “We took the best effort that we could, in One Big, Beautiful Bill, to fix as much of it as we could. And I am so grateful to God that we got that done as we did. “I do believe in God. I believe in that motto that is what has made our nation the greatest in the history of the world. And some people shake their heads and they think that's old fashioned or something. That is a fact. “When the framers put this together. They stepped out in faith. They did something that no nation had ever done before. The great statesman, philosopher G.K. Chesterton of Great Britain, said, ‘America is the only nation in the world that was founded upon a creed. And he said it's listed with almost theological lucidity [or clarity] in the nation's birth certificate: the Declaration of Independence.' “We hold these truths to be self-evident. We recognize, we boldly proclaim the self-evident truth that her rights do not come from the government. They come from God Himself.” Psalm 9:1 says, “I will give thanks to You, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonderful deeds.” The bill will head to Trump's desk ahead of a self-imposed July 4 deadline. He is expected to sign it at 5 p.m. ET today. 4 killed and 14 wounded in Chicago drive-by at rapper party On Wednesday night, four people died from gunshot wounds and 14 others were hospitalized following a drive-by shooting in Chicago, reports The Associated Press. At least three were in critical condition. Three shooters fired out of the SUV before they drove away. No suspect is in custody. Pastor Donovan Price talked to Channel 8 News. PRICE:  “An SUV pulls up and just opens fire on a crowd of people. It was absolute chaos, from people screaming to blood on the streets to people laying on the streets. Just a massive police presence. Horrific. More than I've ever seen.” The shooting took place in Chicago's River North neighborhood, a popular nightlife destination with many restaurants and bars. It was outside a restaurant and lounge that hosted an album release party for a profane rapper named Mello Buckzz, whose actual name is Melanie Doyle. Hip hop lyrics are filled with calls to violence. Ironically, her boyfriend was one of those shot. Thirteen women and five men, ranging in age from 21 to 32, were shot. The dead included two men and two women. On his X account, Pastor Price wrote, “Just sitting in my car crying for some of the people I held tonight.” Psalm 11:5 says, “The LORD examines the righteous, but the wicked, those who love violence, He hates with a passion.” Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson said that the violence “has left our city in a state of grief.” RFK Jr. cites link between Hepatitis vaccine and autism Appearing on Tucker Carlson's podcast, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. talked about the link between the Hepatitis vaccine for babies and autism, reports LifeSiteNews.com. He referenced a Centers for Disease Control study that was buried. KENNEDY: “They looked at children who had received the hepatitis vaccine within their first 30 days of life, and compared those children to a children who had received the vaccine later or not at all, and they found a 1,135% elevated risk of autism among the vaccinated children. It shocked them. They kept the study secret, and they manipulated it through five different iterations to try to bury the link.” Secretary Kennedy also referenced 100 other studies and the new studies at the Health and Human Services Department which will be completed by September. KENNEDY: “The external literature is showing over 100 studies that indicate that there is a link. “But we're going to do real science. The way that we're going to do that is we're going to make the databases public for the first time. We have already put out grant requests. Any scientists with credentials can apply for a grant and tell us how they want to go about studying these. A dozen of these cases affected evangelical Christians. Pastors were fined simply for evangelizing or holding unauthorized church services. Russia enacted tight restrictions on sharing religious beliefs in 2016. The country also imposed “anti-missionary” legislation in occupied Ukrainian territories.  In Acts 5:29, the apostles said, “We ought to obey God rather than men.” Biologically accurate pronouns allowed despite Australia's wokeness Free speech advocates won a big case against Australia this week. At issue is a post on Elon Musk's social media platform X that used biologically accurate pronouns to identify a transgender individual. Australia's eSafety Commissioner ordered X to remove the post, but X challenged the order. On Tuesday, Australia's Administrative Review Tribunal sided with X in the case.  Paul Coleman with Alliance Defending Freedom International said, “In this case, the Australian government alarmingly censored the peaceful expression of a Canadian citizen on an American-owned platform, evidence of the expansive reach of censorial forces, even beyond national borders. Today, free speech has prevailed.” Elon Musk wants to found The American Party which will cut the deficit Speaking of Elon Musk, the tech billionaire called for a new political party in the U.S. On Monday, he posted on X, “If this insane spending bill passes, The America Party will be formed the next day. Our country needs an alternative to the Democrat-Republican uniparty so that the people actually have a VOICE.”  Musk openly opposes President Donald Trump's “One Big Beautiful Bill” for its deficit spending. Afraid of losing $175m, U of Penn agrees to stop transgender nonsense The University of Pennsylvania is backing down from its support for transgenderism. The Trump administration threatened to withhold $175 million in funding to the school for allowing men to compete in women's sports, reports CNN. UPenn came to an agreement with the U.S. Department of Education recently to protect women's sports. Notably, the school will strip a transgender swimmer of his medals. The male swimmer, Will Thomas, who now goes by the feminine name “Lia” Thomas, has been pretending to be a woman, enabling him to win medals by competing in women's sports. Riley Gaines, a former University of Kentucky swimmer, said, “It is my hope that today demonstrates to educational institutions that they will no longer be allowed to trample upon women's civil rights.” Wisconsin Supreme Court strikes down 176-year-old abortion ban Wisconsin's Supreme Court struck down the state's 176-year-old abortion ban yesterday. The 1849 law made most abortions a felony. But the high court ruled 4-3 that more recent legislation superseded the law. Wisconsin only has a ban on late-term abortions now. Heather Weininger, Executive Director of Wisconsin Right to Life, told LifeNews, “The court did not point to a single state statute that specifically repeals [the law]. To assert that a repeal is implied is to legislate from the bench.” Jimmy Swaggart, known for his “I have sinned” confession, died at 90 Remember this?  JIMMY SWAGGART: “I have sinned against You, my Lord, and I would ask that Your precious blood would wash and cleanse every stain until it is in the seas of God's forgetfulness. Thank you. Thank you.” That was the tearful confession on February 21, 1988 of televangelist Jimmy Swaggart at the Family Worship Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana after it became public that he had an encounter with a lady of the evening in New Orleans.  He was defrocked by the Assemblies of God, reports The Christian Post. The Pentecostal preacher died on July 1st at the age of 90 after suffering a cardiac arrest recently. In the announcement from his official Facebook page on Tuesday, his family wrote, “Today, our hearts are heavy as we share that Brother Swaggart has finished his earthly race and entered into the presence of His Savior, Jesus Christ.” Swaggart's popularity peaked in the mid-1980s, reaching millions of households with his weekly telecasts. In his confession, the televangelist alluded to Micah 7:19. It says, “You [God] will again have compassion on us;   You will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea.” Man's gold necklace cross deflected bullet And finally, a young man in Florida is thanking God for saving his life. Last month, 20-year-old Aiden Perry was shot in the chest, by accident, while visiting a friend's apartment.  The gun was only 10 feet away from him. The incident could have been much worse if it weren't for the gold cross necklace he was wearing. The necklace deflected the bullet from hitting major organs in his chest. Dr. Khafra Henry, who performed the surgery, explained to WESH-TV how Aiden's golden cross necklace was a blessing. HENRY:  “Of its metallic component, it actually shielded a lot of the force of the bullet, so the bullet ricocheted off the necklace and entered his chest wall. However, it was just in his fat tissues because it slowed down the trajectory of the bullet.” Dr. Henry noted what might have happened had Aiden not been wearing his golden cross. HENRY: “It could have been way worse, entering his chest wall itself, into the pleural space, which is the airspace around the lung, between the bones, and injuring his lung itself, or his heart.” Aiden said, “It's just kind of a reminder now – to never stop believing. Keep believing and God's definitely real.” In his comments to WESH-TV, he expressed gratitude to God. PERRY: “I think God played a big role in this. I think He's the reason I'm still here today.” In Matthew 10:29-31, Jesus asked, “Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Hundreds of Hindus attacked Christians in India Hundreds of Hindu nationalists attacked a group of Christian families in eastern India last month. The 20 families were eating lunch together before the mob attacked them. Eight of the Christians had to be hospitalized.  A Christian leader in the area told International Christian Concern, “Hindu right-wing activists continued to threaten people to change their religion and accept Hinduism.”  However, the Christians resisted. India is ranked 11th on the Open Doors' World Watch List of the most difficult places to be a Christian.  Hebrews 10:23 says, “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” Trump brokered peace deal between Congo and Rwanda The Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda signed a peace deal last Friday in Washington, D.C.  The United States brokered the agreement which will allow American companies to access minerals in the region. Armed groups across the two East African nations have been in conflict since the 1990s. The violence has left millions of people dead. Christians in the area have been especially vulnerable.   Listen to comments from President Donald Trump on the conflict. TRUMP: “It's displaced countless people and claimed the lives of thousands and thousands. But today, the violence and destruction comes to an end. And the entire region begins a new chapter of hope and opportunity, harmony, prosperity and peace.” Senate passed Trump's Big Beautiful Bill with Vance's tie-breaking vote The U.S. Senate passed President Trump's “One Big Beautiful Bill” yesterday. Vice President J.D. Vance cast the tie-breaking vote to approve it 51-50. The three Republican Senators who defected include Susan Collins of Maine, Rand Paul of Kentucky, and Thom Tillis of North Carolina. The spending bill extends Trump's tax cuts from 2017. It provides more funding for defense and immigration enforcement while cutting Medicaid spending. Appearing on Fox News Channel, Stephen Miller, White House Deputy Chief of Staff, outlined the highlights of Trump's Big Beautiful Bill. MILLER: “Each and every one of the individual titles in this bill would be considered one of the great achievements in the history of the conservative movement. “Building the missile defense shield. Our children can be safe from foreign adversaries in this growing era of intercontinental ballistic missiles as nation's race for supremacy. “The section on this bill enshrining border and homeland security. This is the most far reaching Border Security proposal, Homeland Security proposal in my lifetime. I stood by the families whose kids have been murdered by illegal aliens. We made them a promise. Most importantly, the American people voted to fulfill that promise in the last election. This bill fulfills it. “It is the largest tax cut and reform in American history. No tax on tips. No tax on Social Security. No tax on overtime. 100% expensing for new factories. Think about that. Every single business owner with a dream of manufacturing in America can deduct 100% of that cost to make the American dream come true. “The largest welfare reform in American history. Work requirements on food stamps. Work requirements on Medicaid. “This is the most conservative bill in my lifetime. Tax cuts, defense, Border Security, Homeland Security, welfare reform and the largest spending cut in one bill that has ever been enacted. Let's pass this bill.” The bill does raise the debt ceiling by $5 trillion. The U.S. national debt currently stands at $37 trillion. The bill heads back to the U.S. House of Representatives for final approval. Trump hopes to sign the bill by July 4. Senate votes to defund Planned Parenthood The Senate version of the “One Big Beautiful Bill” would also defund Planned Parenthood. A provision in the bill cuts abortion funding through Medicaid for one year. Originally, the provision would have cut the funding for 10 years.   Democratic Senator Patty Murray of Washington offered an amendment to strike the provision defunding Planned Parenthood from the bill. Thankfully, the Republicans rejected her pro-abortion amendment. Marjorie Dannenfelser with SBA Pro-Life America said, “Taxpayers should never be forced to funnel their hard-earned dollars to Big Abortion. This funding currently hits almost $800 million annually.” 58% of Americans say public schools should have religious chaplains A new poll from the Associated Press found Americans are divided on their views of religion in public schools. Fifty-eight percent of U.S. adults think religious chaplains should be allowed to provide support services in public schools. Only 44% are in favor of teachers leading a class in prayer. And 39% support a mandatory period during school for private prayer and religious reading.  Also, 38% of Americans think religion has too little influence on what children are taught in schools while 32% think religion has too much influence.  Arsonist shot and killed 2 firefighters, injured another A man armed with a rifle started a wildfire Sunday and then began shooting at first responders in a northern Idaho mountain community, killing two firefighters and wounding a third during a barrage of gunfire over several hours, reports The Associated Press. Crews responded to a fire at Canfield Mountain, just north of Coeur d'Alene around 1:30 p.m., and gunshots were reported about a half hour later. The gunman, identified as 20-year-old Wess Roley, committed suicide at the scene. Sheriff Bob Norris said, “We do believe that the suspect started the fire, and we do believe that it was an ambush and it was intentional. These firefighters did not have a chance.” The deaths of Frank Harwood, a 42-year-old firefighter, and John Morrison, a 52-year-old firefighter, have left their colleagues reeling. David Tysdal, age 47, a Coeur d'Alene fire department fire engineer. sustained gunshot wounds and was in critical condition. Authorities said he had two successful surgeries. Ironically, the dead gunman, Wess Roley, had once aspired to be a firefighter and had only minor contacts with area police, reports The Guardian. Rare Indonesian fish is thorn in evolutionists' side Ocean explorers recently captured a rare Indonesian fish on camera for the first time. Marine biologist Alexis Chappuis encountered an Indonesian coelacanth nearly 500 feet below the ocean's surface in the Maluku Islands.  The Indonesian species of the fish has been spotted before but never photographed underwater.  The coelacanth has been called a living fossil. Scientists believed they were extinct until one was spotted in 1938.  Frank Sherwin with the Institute for Creation Research wrote that the fish “continues to be a thorn in the evolutionists' side. Paleontologists can only say these amazing fish evolved from a vague, unidentified ‘. . . ancestor.' Creationists say there have always been coelacanth fish since their creation thousands of years ago.” Psalm 104:23-24 says, “O LORD, how manifold are Your works! (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson and Adam McManus Chinese Communists give pastors 3 years in jail for leading church Three pastors from Linfen Covenant Home Church in Shanxi, China have been sentenced to 2-4 years of prison time for various charges related to their leading an unregistered church in the communist country. The church issued a statement, announcing that “We honor the service of Li Jie, Han Xiaodong, and Wang Qiang who suffered for righteousness, and we are willing to bear the cross with the Lord. We receive this verdict with a grateful and obedient heart.” Jesus offers this encouragement in Revelation 2:10 -- “Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.” Brazilian homeschool mother facing $20,000 of fines Today, a Brazilian court will hear a case of a mom prosecuted for homeschooling her son.   Regiane Cichelero is facing fines of $20,000 and threats of losing custody of her child, for choosing home education on religious grounds.  Alliance Defending Freedom International has taken up the case.  Her legal counsel, Julio Pohl, pointed out that “No parent should fear state punishment for choosing to homeschool their child. Regiane made a lawful and conscientious decision to teach her son at home. We are hopeful that the court will affirm her rights and take an important step toward protecting parental rights in Brazil.”   Regiane continues to homeschool despite the risks involved. Pray for this case, which may serve as a precedent for the other 70,000 homeschooled children in Brazil.   Victory of Christian Colorado camp over transgender agenda Also, Alliance Defending Freedom has announced a favorable settlement for the Idrahaje Christian Camp in Bailey, Colorado. The camp was under threat of losing its license for refusing to submit to state requirements regarding the transgendering of bathrooms and living quarters. The name of the camp is taken from the phrase “I'd rather have Jesus more than anything!”  They use the first two letters of the first four words. The State of Colorado agreed not to take any enforcement action against Camp IdRaHaJe for violation of the gender identity requirements. The state has also clarified in a memo on its website that “churches, synagogues, mosques, or any other place that is principally used for religious purposes” are exempt from the transgendering requirements. Syria's own government helped massacre 1,500 Alawites Reuters has reported on its investigation of the Syrian massacre of 1,500 Alawites in March of this year. The perpetrators included units belonging to the new government based in Damascus. Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa of the Free Syrian Army and Al-Qaeda took over Syria in January of this year. The new government has also instituted a constitution stating that  “The religion of the President of the Republic is Islam. … Islamic jurisprudence is the principal source of legislation.” This constitutes a step up in Islamic rule over Syria. According to Open Doors, Syria is the 18th most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. Iraq allows Muslim men to “marry” 9-year-old girls The new Iraqi government is also following Islamic Sharia law closely. Earlier this year, Iraq's parliament voted to give Islamic courts more control in family law, and permit child marriages for girls as young as nine years of age.  Supreme Court allows parents to opt kids out & requires porn sites to verify age Here in America, the U.S. Supreme Court is allowing parents opt-out rights for their elementary-aged children from having to participate in homosexual-themed lessons. That comes by a vote of 6 to 3. Writing for the majority, Justice Samuel Alito emphasized that “What the parents seek here is not the right to micromanage the public school curriculum, but rather to have their children opt out of a particular educational requirement that burdens their well-established right ‘to direct ‘the religious upbringing' of their children'” under  the free exercise clause of the First Amendment.  Another 6-3 ruling, the High Court has also upheld a Texas Law requiring pornographic websites to verify users are over 18 years of age.  Only adults will be allowed into these sinful activities. Writing for the majority, Justice Clarence Thomas concluded, ”The power to require age verification is within a State's authority to prevent children from accessing sexually explicit content.” But, in Matthew 5:27-28, Jesus said, “You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.'  But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” U.S. government buying its own bonds The U.S. government is buying back its own bonds. Barchart reports the largest buyback in history occurred earlier this month.  Under the direction of Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, the department bought $10 billion of its own bonds.  Federal Reserve on the ropes The Federal Reserve issued $150 billion of bonds in May, but only managed to sell half of them.   Also, the Fed has recorded its first two-year-in-a-row financial loss, totaling $192 billion in 2023 and 2024. This is the first time this has occurred in the Fed's 110-year history. Year to date,  the federal deficit  stands at $1.37 billion as of the end of May. That's 14% higher than last year at this time.  Dad jumps into ocean off Disney Cruise ship to save daughter Here's a story demonstrating a remarkable act of courage and love on the part of a dad. A young child fell off the fourth deck of a Disney cruiseliner on Sunday.   Her father took immediate action, dove in after her. . . and held her while treading water, until a rescue boat pulled them out of the ocean waters. An eyewitness explained what happened to WPLG News. EYEWITNESS: “They were playing shuffleboard that was on the fourth floor. The parents were playing, and then the little girl was climbing up on the railing and flew off.” One passenger said,  “The ship was moving quickly, so quickly, it's crazy how quickly the people became tiny dots in the sea, and then you lost sight of them.” Another passenger said, “I saw the mother crying and but when they rescued them, I think that's when the tears really started flowing.  I prayed to God to save them, and He did!” The Disney Dream was heading back from the Bahamas to Fort Lauderdale when the incident occurred. The Supreme Court's last day of the term was an exercise of raw power. The six conservative justices gave lower courts the back of their hand, making clear that they — and only they! — will decide the law. Nationwide injunctions are out, and so is stare decisis. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus South Korea detains 6 Americans sending Bibles into North Korea South Korean authorities detained six Americans today after they attempted to send 1,600 plastic bottles containing miniature Bibles into North Korea by sea, reports International Christian Concern. In Isaiah 55:11, God says, “My Word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” According to the Gwanghwa Island police, the Americans are being investigated because they allegedly violated the law on disaster management. The Americans reportedly threw the bottles, which also included USB sticks, money, and rice, into the sea, hoping North Koreans would eventually find them washed up on their shore. The police did not disclose the contents of the USB sticks.   Christian missionaries and human rights groups have attempted to send plastic bottles by sea and balloons by air into North Korea. Sadly, South Korean President Lee Jae Myung, who was just elected June 4, 2025, has pledged to halt such campaigns, arguing that such items could provoke North Korea.   According to Open Doors, North Korea is the most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. Trump's Big, Beautiful Bill clears procedural vote The U.S. Senate advanced the latest version of President Trump's “One Big Beautiful Bill” in a procedural vote on June 28, clearing the way for floor debate on the substance of the sweeping megabill, reports The Epoch Times. This moves Republicans one step closer to delivering on key parts of President Donald Trump's second-term agenda. The bill advanced in a vote of 51 to 49, with enough Republican holdouts joining party leaders to avoid the need for Vice President J.D. Vance's tie-breaking vote and to push the measure forward despite lingering concerns about some of its provisions. Republican Senators Susan Collins of Maine and Josh Hawley of Missouri, two pivotal holdouts, said on June 28 that they would vote to advance the megabill, pointing to revisions unveiled by party leaders on June 27 that addressed some of their earlier objections. Hawley, who had previously objected to proposed Medicaid cuts, told reporters on June 28 that he would back not only the motion to proceed, but also final passage of the bill. He credited his decision to new language in the updated bill that delays implementation of changes to the federal cap on Medicaid provider taxes—a provision he said would ultimately bring more federal funding to Missouri's Medicaid program over the next four years. In an attempt to delay passage of the bill, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York and his fellow Democrats required that the clerks read the entire 940-page bill out loud, which took 15 hours 55 minutes through yesterday afternoon, reports CBS. Senate Majority Leader John Thune expects a final vote on the package sometime today. Two GOP defections on Trump's Big Beautiful Bill There were two Republicans who voted against advancing Trump's Big Beautiful Bill, reports The Hill.com. Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky, who opposes a provision to raise the debt limit by $5 trillion, and Senator Thom Tillis of North Carolina, who says the legislation would cost his state $38.9 billion in federal Medicaid funding. Three other Republicans, who had wavered, changed their minds.  Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin changed his “no” vote to “aye,” and holdout Senators Mike Lee of Utah, Rick Scott of Florida, and Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming also voted yes to advance the bill. The bill had suffered several significant setbacks in the days and hours before coming to the floor, at times appearing to be on shaky ground. Trump blasted Tillis on Truth Social, vowing to interview candidates to run against him in the upcoming senatorial primary. He said, “Looks like Senator Thom Tillis, as usual, wants to tell the Nation that he's giving them a 68% Tax Increase, as opposed to the Biggest Tax Cut in American History! “America wants Reduced Taxes, including NO TAX ON TIPS, NO TAX ON OVERTIME, AND NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY, Interest Deductions on Cars, Border Security, a Strong Military, and a Bill which is GREAT for our Farmers, Manufacturers and Employment, in general. Thom Tillis is making a BIG MISTAKE for America, and the Wonderful People of North Carolina!” Just one day after drawing President Trump's ire for opposing the party's  sweeping domestic policy package, Senator Tillis surprisingly announced that he will not seek a third 6-year term in 2026, reports The Guardian. Trump's bill does defund Planned Parenthood President Trump's Big, Beautiful Bill still includes language to stop forced taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood and Big Abortion for one year, reports LifeNews.com. The good news is that Planned Parenthood defunding is retained in the final version of the bill, but the bad news is that the 10 year funding ban has been scaled back to just one year. According to Planned Parenthood's latest annual fiscal report, the organization killed more than 400,000 babies through abortion in 2023 and 2024 and received nearly $800 million from taxpayers. Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser said, “The One Big Beautiful Bill Act that stops forced taxpayer funding of the abortion industry has been retained in the Senate bill, as we were confident it would, though for one year. This is a huge win.” Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.” Call your two U.S. Senators ASAP on Monday at 202-224-3121 to urge them to retain the defunding of Planned Parenthood in the bill. Supreme Court curbs injunctions that blocked Trump's birthright citizenship plan Last Friday, the Supreme Court handed the Trump administration a major win by allowing it, for now, to take steps to implement its proposal to end automatic birthright citizenship for the children of illegal immigrants, reports NBC News.  TRUMP: “That was meant for the babies of slaves. It wasn't meant for people trying to scam the system.” In a 6-3 vote, the court granted the request by the Trump administration to narrow the scope of nationwide injunctions imposed by judges so that they only apply to the states, groups and individuals that sued. TRUMP: “This was a big decision, an amazing decision!”  The White House said, “Since the moment President Trump took office, low-level activist judges have been exploiting their positions to kneecap the agenda on which he was overwhelmingly elected. Of the 40 nationwide injunctions filed against President Trump's executive actions in his second term, 35 of them came from just five far-left jurisdictions: California, Maryland, Massachusetts, Washington, and the District of Columbia. “Now, the Trump administration can promptly proceed with critical action to save the country — like ending birthright citizenship, ceasing sanctuary city funding, suspending refugee resettlement, freezing unnecessary funding, and stopping taxpayers from funding transgender surgeries.” Appearing on Fox News Channel, Jonathan Turley, a George Washington University Law School Professor, explained that this is a major victory for Trump. TURLEY: “This is a huge win for him. It does negate what has been a stumbling block. These judges have been throwing sand in the works in many of these policies, from immigration to birthright citizenship to [Department of Government Efficiency] cuts -- that will presumably now be tamped down. If these judges try to circumvent that, I think they'll find an even more expedited path to a Supreme Court that's going to continue to reverse some of these, lift some of these injunctions.” President Trump agreed wholeheartedly. TRUMP: “We've seen a handful of radical left judges effectively try to overrule the rightful powers of the president, to stop the American people from getting the policies that they voted for in record numbers.” Professor Turley was shocked by the forcefulness of Amy Coney Barrett's 96-page majority opinion, which took on leftist Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, the author of the 20-page dissent.  Barrett wrote, “We will not dwell on Justice Jackson's argument, which is at odds with more than two centuries' worth of precedent, not to mention the Constitution itself. … Justice Jackson decries an imperial Executive while embracing an imperial Judiciary.” TURLEY: “The opinion was really radioactive in this takedown of Justice Jackson. I've been covering the Supreme Court for decades. It's rare to see that type of exchange. The important thing to remember is that Justice Barrett delivered what was essentially a pile driver. “But she didn't do it alone. I mean, her colleagues signed on to this. And I think it's very clear that the majority is getting tired of the histrionics and the hysteria that seems to be growing a bit on the left side of the court.” Turley cited two examples of the hyperbolic rhetoric of the three leftist judges on the Supreme Court. TURLEY: “It's the hyperbole that's coming out of the dissent that is so notable. Justice [Sonia] Sotomayor, in that Maryland case, said that giving parents the ability to opt out of a few [pro-homosexual/transgender] lessons was going to, ‘create chaos and probably end public education.' Justice [Ketanji Brown] Jackson saying this could very well essentially be the ‘death of democracy.' It's the type of hyperbole that most justices have avoided.” Even CNN's Michael Smerconish said that Trump is meeting and surpassing expectations. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Pakistani Court acquits Christian man of blasphemy against Islam On June 25th, the Pakistani Supreme Court ordered the acquittal of an elderly Christian man on death row for 23 years on a blasphemy against Islam conviction, reports Morning Star News. A three-judge bench acquitted Anwar Kenneth, age 72, of the blasphemy allegations. His attorney, Rana Hameed, himself a Muslim, explained that a person of unsound mind could not be held liable for such a crime. He added that this case highlights the plight of dozens of other blasphemy prisoners who are also suffering from mental health challenges, yet their cases have been pending for years. Defense Secretary Hegseth defends success of bombing Iran Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth defended President Trump's characterization that the Iranian nuclear sites were obliterated. HEGSETH: “President Trump directed the most complex and secretive military operation in history. And it was a resounding success, resulting in a cease fire agreement and the end of the 12 Day War. “There's been a lot of discussion about what happened and what didn't happen. Step back for a second. Because of decisive military action, President Trump created the conditions to end the war, decimating, choose your word, obliterating, destroying Iran's nuclear capabilities.” At a press conference at the NATO Summit in The Hague, Netherlands on June 25th, Secretary Hegseth added this. HEGSETH: “There's a reason the President calls out fake news for what it is. These pilots, these refuelers, these fighters, these air defenders -- the skill and the courage it took to go into enemy territory, flying 36 hours, on behalf of the American people and the world to take out a nuclear program is beyond what anyone in this audience can fathom. “And then, the instinct of CNN, the instinct of The New York Times is to try to find a way to spin it for their own political reasons, to try to hurt President Trump or our country. They don't care what the troops think. They don't care what the world thinks. They want to spin it to try to make him look bad based on a leak. “What do leakers do? They have agendas. And what do they do? Do they share the whole information, or just the part that they want to introduce? And when they introduce that preliminary report, that's deemed to be a low assessment, you know, a low assessment means low confidence in the data in that report. “And why is there low confidence? Because all of the evidence of what was just bombed by twelve 30,000-pound bombs is buried under a mountain, devastated and obliterated. So, if you want to make an assessment of what happened at Fordow, you better get a big shovel and go really deep, because Iran's nuclear program is obliterated. “Somebody, somewhere is trying to leak something to say, ‘Oh, with low confidence, we think maybe it's moderate.'  Those that dropped the bombs precisely in the right place know exactly what happened when that exploded. And you know who else knows?  Iran! “That's why they came to the table right away because their nuclear capabilities have been set back beyond what they thought were possible because of the courage of a Commander-in-Chief who led our troops, despite what the fake news wants to say.” Supreme Court rules South Carolina can defund Planned Parenthood In a 6-3 decision yesterday, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that South Carolina has the right to defund the Planned Parenthood abortion business, reports LifeNews. The pro-life state wants to be able to block taxpayer funding for the abortion business under Medicaid, but the abortion company sued to block that action. The Supreme Court ruled that South Carolina has the power to block funding. In the decision, written by Justice Neil Gorsuch, the Supreme Court said Medicaid laws do not give individuals the right to bring federal lawsuits against states. The high court's ruling means that the state can direct Medicaid funding—funds intended to help low-income individuals obtain necessary medical assistance—to comprehensive health care rather than entities that exist primarily to perform abortions. South Carolina Republican Governor Henry McMaster issued executive orders barring the pro-abortion organization from receiving reimbursements for non-abortion services like cancer screenings, STD testing, and contraception -- arguing that the funding just frees the abortion business to spend funds killing babies. Governor McMaster is living up to the command of Proverbs 31:8 which says, “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves.” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt weighed in. LEAVITT: “As for the Supreme Court ruling, the President has always maintained that Americans should not be forced to violate their conscience and their religious liberty by having their tax dollars fund abortions, and we're glad the Supreme Court ruled on that side.” Two who stopped gunman at Michigan church hailed as heroes Two members of CrossPointe Community Church in Wayne, Michigan are being hailed as heroes for helping to stop a gunman who attempted to carry out a mass shooting during the church's worship service this past Sunday, reports the Christian Post. The men, Deacon Richard Pryor and Ron Amann, a member of the church's security team, are being celebrated for their efforts in stopping 31-year-old Brian Browning. According to the police report cited by the Detroit Free Press, Browning, the gunman, was dressed in camouflage clothing and a tactical vest as he approached the church entrance armed with an AR-15-style rifle and 500 rounds of ammunition. He opened fire at the church shortly after 11:00am. Steven Lewellyn, a fellow church member, wrote, "Richard was in the parking lot and saw the shooter walking towards the door. In a moment of quick thinking and incredible bravery, Richard sped towards the man, hitting him with his truck and giving armed security crucial extra seconds to get to the scene and prevent further harm." The gunman shot multiple rounds into the truck, but thankfully did not hurt Richard Pryor, who was running late for church that morning. Providentially, just three days before the shooting, Ron Amann told WXYZ that he was one of three members of the church's safety team who attended training at Peacemakers Shooting Range. AMANN: “When we formed this team, I just knew it was my calling to protect my family and my church family.” Amann described what he heard last Sunday. AMANN: "Popping, a pop, pop, pop, pop, pop, pop noise that I couldn't quite identify. It stopped. I heard it again, and probably within a few seconds after that, someone came running in the back of the sanctuary and said, there's a shooter out there.” After he sent his family to safety, he ran toward the shooting. AMANN: "He [shooter] was sitting on the ground with a rifle, and he was sitting away from me, so he turned to make a sweep of the glass with his gun and just held the trigger and shot through. "He just started spraying bullets into the lobby, went through the glass, shattered it, and then, that's when it caught my leg and spun me around.” Another member of the church's safety team, Jay Trombley, fatally shot Browning. Amann is convinced that God prepared them for that moment. AMANN: “Being a person of faith and having a relationship with God, I believe He orchestrated all of the preparations and prepared us exactly for what we encountered.” Kate Dunphy, the organizer of the GoFundMe campaign for the church security volunteer who was shot in the leg, wrote, "Ron's tibia was shattered and required extensive surgery to place a rod at the leg injury. This injury will have approximately 3-5 months of physical recovery and rehabilitation. Christians already face arrest in Iran for simply leading a house church. An Iranian believer told International Christian Concern, “The Iranian government is now arresting anyone caught taking or sharing photos and videos with news outlets. Christians are especially vulnerable, as they risk being accused of espionage and deemed a threat to national security. If their faith is discovered, the consequences are far worse.” Iran is ranked ninth on the Open Doors' World Watch List of the most difficult countries to be a Christian.  Hebrews 13:3 says, “Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also.” ICE arrested 11 Iranian nationals, one served as Iranian army sniper U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested 11 Iranian nationals over the weekend. The individuals entered the U.S. illegally, and one of them reportedly served as an Iranian Army sniper.  Officials are on high alert for extremist attacks after the U.S. bombed Iranian nuclear facilities on Saturday. Iran has threatened to carry out retaliatory terrorist attacks using sleeper cells in America.  Trump thrilled that NATO paying their fair share The NATO military alliance of western nations held its 2025 summit in the Netherlands this week. NATO countries agreed to raise defense spending to 5% of annual gross domestic product over the next 10 years. That's up from the current target of 2%. This comes after U.S. President Donald Trump has called on European countries to contribute more to the defense budget of the alliance. Listen to comments from Trump. TRUMP: “This is a monumental win for the United States, because we were carrying much more than our fair share. It was quite unfair, actually. But this is a big win for Europe and for actually, Western civilization.” Muslim socialist beat Andrew Cuomo in NYC Dem primary for mayor A Muslim socialist won the Democrat primary for New York City mayor on Tuesday. Remarkably, Zohran Mamdani, age 33, defeated former Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo in the race. (Watch his election night victory speech) MAMDANI: “Tonight, we made history. (cheering) In the words of Nelson Mandela, ‘It always seems impossible until it is done.' (cheering)  My friends, we have done it. (cheering) I will be your Democratic nominee for the mayor of New York City.” (cheering)   Mamdani has served as a New York state lawmaker. He campaigned on making the Big Apple more affordable, calling for free public transit, rent freezes, and universal childcare. If elected, he would be the city's first Muslim mayor.  President Trump sounded off on Truth Social. He wrote, “Zohran Mamdani, a 100% Communist Lunatic, has just won the Dem Primary, and is on his way to becoming Mayor. We've had Radical Lefties before, but this is getting a little ridiculous. … He's got [U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez]. … and even our Great Palestinian Senator, Cryin' Chuck Schumer, ,,, groveling over him.” Two-thirds of churchgoers attend weekly The Exploring the Pandemic Impact on Congregations project released a new report on U.S. churchgoers this month. The survey found two-thirds of respondents attend services weekly. And over 80% report stable or increased attendance compared to five years ago.  The survey noted a positive outlook: “Many more respondents said their religious faith and spirituality had strengthened since the pandemic. Likewise, financial giving has increased, as has involvement and volunteering.” In terms of newcomers, 38% of churchgoers began attending their church since the COVID-19 pandemic. Of these new attenders, nearly a third never attended church before or are returning to church after years of not participating.  Astronauts from India, Poland and Hungary head to Int'l Space Station Astronauts from India, Poland, and Hungary blasted off for the International Space Station yesterday. It's the first time astronauts from those countries have gone to space in over 40 years. Axiom Space arranged the flight which launched from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida.  The mission is part of NASA's effort to open space to private companies. Axiom is among several American space companies hoping to put their own space stations into orbit. That's over two attacks per day, a trend that has held since 2023. Attacks have risen significantly since 2014 when only 127 incidents were recorded A. C. Michael with United Christian Forum warned, “If this trend is not stopped immediately, it will threaten the identity and existence of the Indian Christian community in its motherland.” Please pray for the persecuted church in India. The country is ranked 11th on the Open Doors' World Watch List of the most difficult countries to be a Christian.  80% of young French Protestants optimistic about future The Protestant Federation of France released a survey of young Protestants in the country.  Seventy-seven percent of respondents cited the Bible as their primary source of spiritual information ahead of other sources like discussion groups and digital content. Eighty percent of these young Protestants in France are optimistic about the future compared to 58% of 15 to 30-year-olds nationally. Researchers noted that young Protestants view their faith as not just a personal but also a public commitment.  1 Timothy 4:12 says, “Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” Netanyahu commends President Trump for bombing Iran's nuclear sites Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commended President Donald Trump for authorizing the June 22nd “Operation Midnight Hammer” which led to America's bombing of Iranian nuclear sites NETANYAHU: “Congratulations President Trump! Your bold decision to target Iran's nuclear facilities with the awesome and righteous might of the United States will change history. “In Operation Rising Lion, Israel has done truly amazing things. But in tonight's action against Iran's nuclear facilities, America has been truly unsurpassed. It has done what no other country on Earth could do. “History will record that President Trump acted to deny the world's most dangerous regime, the world's most dangerous weapons. His leadership today has created a pivot of history that can help lead the Middle East and beyond to a future of prosperity and peace. “President Trump and I often say, ‘Peace through strength!' First comes strength, then comes peace.” U.S. strike set back Iran's nuclear program by only a few months The New York Times reports that a preliminary classified U.S. report says the American bombing of three nuclear sites in Iran set back the country's nuclear program by only a few months. The strikes sealed off the entrances to two of the facilities but did not collapse their underground buildings. Before the attack, U.S. intelligence agencies had said that if Iran tried to rush to make a bomb, it would take about three months. After the U.S. bombing run and days of attacks by the Israeli Air Force, the report by the Defense Intelligence Agency estimated that the program had been delayed, but by less than six months. The report also said that much of Iran's stockpile of enriched uranium was moved before the strikes, which destroyed little of the nuclear material. Iran may have moved some of that to secret locations. Presidential Commission on Religious Liberty holds first meeting The Presidential Commission on Religious Liberty held its first meeting last Monday at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. Texas Republican Lt. Governor Dan Patrick chaired the meeting which included religious leaders and legal experts. Listen to comments from former U.S. Housing Secretary Dr. Ben Carson. CARSON: “This commission promotes freedom of beliefs and that spiritual aspect of our existence that advances civilization. We will strive to facilitate the maintenance of one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” Back in May, President Donald Trump established the commission by executive order to advise him on protecting religious liberty in the United States. Students for Life to give away nearly 400,000 diapers Students for Life of America is planning the largest diaper giveaway this coming Saturday on Capitol Hill. The pro-life group will distribute 392,715 diapers. Each one represents an unborn baby murdered at Planned Parenthood abortion mills, according to its 2022-23 annual report. Kristan Hawkins, the president of Students for Life of America, said, “While this diaper drive is a large, singular feat, we hope it drives the pro-life movement to keep pushing Congress to defund abortion mills, hold up and encourage mothers and families, and be pillars of Life in their communities.” Proverbs 24:11 says, “Deliver those who are drawn toward death, and hold back those stumbling to the slaughter.” U.S. giving up 6.3% compared to 2023 A new report from Giving USA found that U.S. charitable giving increased to $592.5 billion in 2024. Total giving was up only 6.3% last year compared to 2023. Adjusted for inflation, it was up only 3.3%. Every type of recipient organization saw an increase in donations in current dollars. However, religious groups were the only ones to see a slight decrease in giving when adjusted for inflation. U.S. Marshals rescued 60 missing children & arrested child predators The U.S. Marshals Service rescued 60 missing children during an operation in Florida this month. The operation also led to the arrests of eight individuals, including child predators. William Berger, U.S. Marshal for the Middle District of Florida, said the operation “signifies the most successful missing child recovery effort in the history of the United States Marshals Service. … “The unique part of this operation was the fact that underaged, critically missing children … were not only recovered but were … provided with physical and psychological care. In total, over 8.6 million adults could lose healthcare coverage as a result of this bill. o   Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. recently dismissed the 17-member Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices. o   Reports estimate that the Department of Health and Human Services has cut over 10,000 employees. o   The Trump administration has also taken recent actions that limit healthcare coverage for gender-affirming care in its crusade against gender ideology. ·      Supreme Court victory for disability rights o   The US Supreme Court unanimously held that children with disabilities should have an easier path to sue or seek recourse against schools for failing to provide ADA-compliant accommodations. This lower barrier of entry to bring legal claims represents a significant victory for disability rights groups.   Non-lobbying Advocacy Advocacy can take many forms, and lobbying is just one form. Your organization can engage in non-lobbying activities like: Organizing, educating the public, conducting research, executive branch and regulatory activities, working with your local state board of elections, training and litigation are just a few examples.   ·      Educating the Public o   The Arc's North Carolina chapter, an AFJ member organization, continues to shed light on how recent actions by the Trump administration may have a lasting impact on the rights of students with disabilities. ·      Holding a Rally o   This February[GU1] [VR2] [VR3] [GU4] , several health and disability rights groups held a Disability Advocacy Day at the Missouri Capitol. During the event, attendees urged the state to withdraw from a lawsuit brought on by 17 attorneys generals, including the Missouri AG. The groups want to keep federal protections for people with disabilities under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act. Section 504 provides funds for special accommodations for students and protects qualified individuals with disabilities. ·      Litigation as Advocacy o   Planned Parenthood of Montana is celebrating a recent legal victory in the abortion space. by The Montana Supreme Court blocked several anti-abortion laws from taking effect in Montana that would institute a 20-week abortion ban and place significant restrictions on abortion-inducing medications. o   A federal district judge granted a preliminary injunction temporarily blocking a Trump executive order that prohibits prison officials from providing gender-affirming hormone therapy and other accommodations to transgender people. The lawsuit was filed by the ACLU, the ACLU of DC, and the Transgender Law Center. Lobbying ·      Advocacy Days o   The Arc Minnesota recently organized a rally day at the Minnesota Capitol to protect disability funding. ·      Legislative Wins o   California: A coalition of nonprofit organizations successfully pushed SB634, the Unhoused Service Providers Protection Act, off the Senate floor. This bill is designed to increase protections for people and organizations that provide support to the unhoused. o   New York: The New York State Senate approved a bill that allows people facing terminal illnesses to end their lives on their own terms, which the bill's proponents say will ensure a measure of autonomy to New Yorkers in their final days. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson and Adam McManus Syrian suicide bomber A suicide bomber entered an Orthodox Church in Damascus, Syria on Sunday killing 22 people and wounding at least 63 others, reports ABC News. The ISIS terrorist group has claimed responsibility. No increased nuclear radiation levels after U.S. bombing in Iran The International Atomic Energy Agency reports no increase in off-site radiation levels at the three Iranian sites bombed by the United States and Israel. The neighboring Kuwait government has also confirmed that “no abnormal radiation levels have been detected in any of the member states.” The whereabouts of 400 kilograms of highly enriched Uranium in Iran is still a mystery. Israel bombed Iran's Evin Prison Israel continues its bombardment on Iran, including a bombing of the notorious Evin prison, where a number of Christians are held, and have been tortured over the last several decades. Trump: Israel & Iran agreed to cease-fire to end “12-Day War” On Monday, President Donald Trump announced that Israel and Iran had agreed to a cease-fire, declaring an end to what he referred to as “The 12 Day War,” reports The Epoch Times. In a Truth Social Post, Trump wrote,  “It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE … for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered ENDED!” Both sides will wind down their final military operations within 12 hours, beginning what Trump expects to be “PEACEFUL and RESPECTFUL” on both sides. The conflict will be declared over within 24 hours. However, The New York Times indicated that there is no confirmation yet from Israel and Iran. Russia bombed Ukraine with 16 missiles and 352 drones The Russian army unleashed a heavy bombardment on Kiev, Ukraine yesterday involving 352 drones and 16 missiles, reports Reuters. At least 10 Ukrainians died in the attack. This follows another attack last week which killed 28 people.  Zelensky assassination plot foiled Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was the target of an assassination plot to be carried out by a Polish elderly man who had first been recruited by the Soviet Union decades ago, reports Newsweek. The man was activated to take out Zelensky at Poland's Rzeszów–Jasionka Airport using either a first-person view drone or a sniper rifle. The would-be assassin was a firm believer in Soviet ideology. The assassination plot was foiled by a joint effort of Ukraine's SBU, the main internal security agency, and the Polish internal security service known as ABW. Americans less isolationist Americans are moving away from isolationism according to a recent survey by the Ronald Reagan Institute. In the last three years, Americans who believe the United States should be more engaged in international events has seen a 24% increase. Specifically, 69% of Republicans, 64% of Democrats, and 73% of MAGA/Trump Republicans want to see more engagement internationally. A supermajority of Americans – 84% -- state their support for preventing the Islamic Republic from gaining access to nuclear weapons. Only 57% of Americans would agree with the statement that “the United States is better served by withdrawing from international events and focusing on problems here at home.” The major shift in American opinions on this has occurred since the November election.  Russia economy expanded by 4.3% last year Despite international pressures, the Russian economy expanded by 4.3% last year. This compares to a 1.1% bump for the United Kingdom, and a 2.8% bump for the U.S. economy last year. Supreme Court temporarily allows deportations to third countries In a 6-3 decision on Monday, the Supreme Court temporarily lifted a lower court order blocking the Trump administration from deporting illegal immigrants to so-called third countries to which they have no connection, reports The Epoch Times. The unsigned order came in the case known as Department of Homeland Security v. D.V.D. Michigan church shooting prevented   A heavily-armed man attempted a massacre at the Wayne, Michigan Crosspointe Community Church, reports CBS News. Thankfully, he didn't make it into the building. A parishioner rammed him with his truck, and the security team engaged him in the parking lot.  The suspect was pronounced dead when police arrived on the scene. One security guard took a shot in the leg. Based on national news sources, there are 1-2 church shootings per year in this country. That's 1 out of 380,000 churches.  Psalm 27:1-2 is always the right mindset. It says, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?  When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell.” Ohio pro-life legislators want to protect babies from conception Several Ohio legislators are floating a bill that outlaws the willful murder of a child from the point of conception. The "Ohio Prenatal Equal Protection Act,” introduced by state Representatives Levi Dean and Johnathan Newman, would overturn the 2023 referendum amendment that legalized abortion in Ohio.  In Psalm 22, the psalmist confesses, “You … took me out of the womb; You made me trust while on my mother's breasts. I was cast upon You from birth. from my mother's womb You have been my God.”  Older Americans more likely to have Biblical worldview George Barna's 2025 American Worldview Inventory report has been released and he concludes that only 1% of adults under 30 have a Biblical worldview. That compares with 5% for adults over 50, and 8% for adults over 65. Also, 69% of young Gen Z Americans believe abortion is morally acceptable. That's up from 60% for the Gen X and Boomer generations. Then, 73% of Gen Zers agree that sex outside of marriage is okay.  That's up from 59% with the Boomer Generation.  Fifth Circuit deems Louisiana Ten Commandments law unconstitutional The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals overturned Louisiana's law requiring the posting of The Ten Commandments in public schools, reports Courthouse News Service. The Louisiana law required schools which receive public funding to post a framed copy of The 10 Commandments in the classrooms. Observatory identified and photographed 10 million galaxies The Rubin Observatory, located in South America's Andes Mountain, has completed its first 10 hours of operation and identified 2,104 new asteroids never seen before, and photographed 10 million galaxies, reports the BBC. The observatory features a 28-foot telescope and an ultra-wide, ultra-high definition camera.  Sperm donor passed cancer gene to 67 children In other science news, a sperm donor in Europe has passed a cancer gene on to 67 children. Already, at least ten of the children have signs of cancer, all of them born between 2008 and 2015. The case was discussed at the annual conference of the European Society of Human Genetics. Dr. Edwige Kasper, a specialist in genetic predisposition to cancer at the Rouen University Hospital in Rouen, France, said, “The variant would have been practically undetectable in 2008 when the individual started to donate sperm.” U.S. housing prices spike Housing prices in the U.S. are still reaching record highs. Nous sommes le 7 mai 1946, à Dampremy, l'un des sièges d'extraction de la « Société Anonyme des Charbonnages Réunis du Mambourg ». Un terrible coup de grisou a frappé ce que l'on appelle « le Puits du Sacré-Français ». Le « Journal de Charleroi » rapporte : « Mardi soir, vers 21h30, un dégagement intense de gaz délétères et inflammables s'est produit dans la taille Cayette, à l'étage 860 mètres (…). Seize ouvrier ont été surpris par la catastrophe et sont morts asphyxiés et brûlés (…). Parmi les victimes, on compte trois Belges, six travailleurs étrangers (deux Italiens, deux Polonais, un Tchèque et un sujet français originaire du Maroc). En plus de ces neuf victimes civiles, il faut compter sept prisonniers allemands, du camp de Lodelinsart. » Qui sont ces prisonniers allemands ? Après la Libération, des milliers d'entre eux sont restés sur notre territoire et ont participé, au même titre que les mineurs belges, et italiens par la suite, à la « Bataille du charbon ». Cette vaste opération lancée, dès la fin de la Deuxième Guerre mondiale, par le gouvernement d'Union nationale. Privés de liberté au moment même où s'achevait le conflit, 60 000 de ces hommes ont été, en effet, cédés à la Belgique par le Commandement allié, en juillet 1945, au titre de « dommage de guerre ». Mis à la disposition de l'industrie charbonnière, afin de retrouver le plus rapidement possible la production d'avant-guerre pour relancer l'économie et relever le pays de ses ruines, la majorité a été directement affectée aux travaux d'extraction, tandis qu'une minorité fut occupée à la production des bois nécessaires au soutènement des galeries et des chantiers. Ils étaient répartis entre 38 camps de travail dont 32 étaient situés dans les bassins houillers, à proximité des sites de production, et 6 dans les Ardennes, à la lisière des forêts. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Christian persecution pervades Christian-majority nations in Africa & Latin America Many Christians across Africa and Latin America continue to suffer for their faith because of Islamic oppression, dictatorial paranoia, and criminal cartel organizations, reports International Christian Concern. Large populations in Cuba, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mexico, Mozambique, Nicaragua, and Nigeria are predominantly Christian. Yet, many Christ followers in these nations are often brutally attacked for following Christ, and their governments are failing to protect them.  In Congo, Christians represent 95% of the nation's population, yet they are being slaughtered at alarming rates. Much of the killing is being done by Islamist groups like ISIS-DRC, also known as the Allied Democratic Forces. Likewise, in Mozambique, 62% of the population is composed of Christians, yet Islamic extremists still target them for their faith. According to Open Doors, these extremists have “target[ed] Christian places of worship, abducted religious leaders, and killed numerous believers.”  And in Cuba, the Catholic Church estimates that 60% of the population practices Catholicism. Cuban churches that publicly oppose the government's human rights abuses are targeted by authorities for harassment and intimidation. British House of Commons passes dangerous bill legalizing assisted suicide Members of the British House of Commons voted Friday to pass a dangerous bill to legalize assisted suicide, reports LifeNews.com. In a vote of 314 to 291, Members of Parliament put their stamp of approval on the bill that will likely result in pressuring disabled and elderly people to kill themselves. Isaiah 59:7 says, “Their feet rush into sin; they are swift to shed innocent blood. They pursue evil schemes; acts of violence mark their ways.” Tim Dieppe, Head of Policy at Christian Concern, was outraged. DIEPPE: “Once you legalize assisted suicide, you will put pressure on vulnerable people. Vulnerable people will feel like they're a burden to others. People will be suggesting assisted suicide. Doctors could suggest it. I mean, that's horrific. You know, my wife died of cancer three years ago. I can't imagine what it would be like if her consultant had suggested suicide.” Labour legislator Diane Abbott said she's concerned that for-profit companies will run assisted dying businesses that take advantage of killing people for money. Members of Parliament had only 10 hours to consider over 130 amendments to the bill, or less than 5 minutes per change. America bombed Iran's nuclear facilities On Saturday, the U.S. military bombed three sites in Iran, directly joining Israel's effort to decapitate the country's nuclear program in a risky gambit to weaken a longtime foe amid Tehran's threat of reprisals that could spark a wider regional conflict, reports the Associated Press. TRUMP: “A short time ago, the US military carried out massive precision strikes on the three key nuclear facilities in the Iranian regime: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. Everybody heard those names for years as they built this horribly destructive enterprise. Our objective was the destruction of Iran's nuclear enrichment capacity and a stop to the nuclear threat posed by the world's number one state sponsor of terror. “Tonight, I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success. Iran's key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated. Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace. If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier. For 40 years, Iran has been saying, ‘Death to America, Death to Israel.'” The decision to directly involve the U.S. in the war comes after more than a week of strikes by Israel on Iran that aimed to systematically eradicate the country's air defenses and offensive missile capabilities, while damaging its nuclear enrichment facilities. TRUMP: “I want to thank and congratulate [Israeli] Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu. We worked as a team like perhaps no team has ever worked before, and we've gone a long way to erasing this horrible threat to Israel. I want to thank the Israeli military for the wonderful job they've done. And most importantly, I want to congratulate the great American patriots who flew those magnificent machines tonight and all of the United States military on an operation the likes of which the world has not seen in many, many decades.” (Learn more about the timeline that led up to America's bombing of Iran's nuclear facilities.) Iran threatens to block Strait of Hormuz, blocking 20% of oil shipments In response, Iran is reportedly saying it will block the Strait of Hormuz and stop oil shipments for what amounts to 20% of the world's daily oil flow and up to $1 billion, which will send oil prices soaring globally, reports NewsMax. Needless to say, Iran has no legal authority to block traffic through Hormuz, and blockage would mean direct combat with U.S. naval assets, including the U.S. Fifth Fleet warships patrolling the region. Dear Lord, We pray for peace. Amen. The 30,000-pound bunker bomb that made the difference In a post on TruthSocial, Trump said, “There is not another military in the world that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!” Indeed, America's 30,000-pound bunker buster bomb offered the best chance of destroying heavily fortified sites connected to the Iranian nuclear program buried deep underground. Appearing on ABC News, Retired Lt. General Doug Lute explained. LUTE: “The original purpose of building this bomb was actually concern about the North Korean deeply buried nuclear related sites. So, this didn't originally have anything to do with Iran. But most recently, it's the only bomb in our inventory, or frankly, in the global inventory, that promises some prospect of actually penetrating the mountainside in which the crown jewel of the Iranian nuclear program, the Fordow site, is located. So, this is our best technological advantage in terms of trying to get to that site.” 90% of Trump Republicans say “Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon” Appearing on Fox News Channel with Dana Perino, Chris Stirewalt summarized Trump's mindset about Iran. STIREWALT: “I think that Donald Trump has never wavered from the ultimate objective, which is that the Iranian nuclear program has to end. It has to be dismantled. It has to be destroyed. The only question has been whether it's done militarily or whether it's done voluntarily. “He gave them a 60-day deadline. They let the deadline pass, and so Israel began bombing on Day 61 and now he is basically holding out. ‘This is your last chance. The time for negotiation is over. There's not going to be any kind of deal.' “This is a question of whether Iran cries ‘amo,' which is Persian for ‘uncle,' and allows U.S. to come in and blow up Fordow from the inside, or we do it from without, from the skies above, with B2 bombers. But I think there is zero chance that the Fordow nuclear facility survives this encounter.” Stirewalt asserted that the Make America Great Again crowd is supportive of Trump's decision to bomb Iran. STIREWALT: “The idea that there's a schism in the Republican Party, or that the Trump Coalition is breaking up is completely absurd. The Reagan Institute is coming out with a new poll this weekend. 90% of self-described [Make America Great Again] Republicans say Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. 80% say that Israel's security is vital to our security. 64% support Israel bombing the nuclear facilities. There is absolutely no daylight between Donald Trump and the  [Make America Great Again] movement. The MAGA movement is absolutely behind Donald Trump in getting rid of this nuclear program.” On Truth Social, President Trump posted, “I gave Iran chance after chance to make a deal.” He concluded, “This is an historic moment for the United States of America, Israel, and the world. Iran must now agree to end this war.” Texas answers  “What is a Woman?” in state law Last Friday, Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott signed into law the “What is a Woman Bill” also known as House Bill 229, reports Texas Values. Now, in Texas, men can no longer pretend to be women. The law accurately defines the terms “man”, “woman”, “boy”, and “girl” by scientific definitions and biological reality. The effect would be that biological  women will have their rights, opportunities, and privacy protected by law. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Buddhist relatives poison 3 kids of Christian couple in Laos In Northern Laos, Pa-yang, a young mother in her 20s and her husband, Lavee, became Christians in 2020. Since then, the villagers had tried to expel the family unless they recanted their faith in Christ. That comes as no surprise since 66% of Laotians are Buddhist and only 1.5% are Christian. The situation took an ugly turn when Pa-yang's relatives wanted her to sell them land she owned. When she refused, they hired someone to sneak into the home and poison a beverage. The three children got to it first.  When Pa-yang and her husband were alerted to the medical emergency, they rushed back from the fields to find all three children lying ill on the floor.  Tragically, the eldest did not survive and the other two were in comas, reports Open Doors. Open Doors paid for the hospitalization of the younger two children, who got better, as well as covering follow-up medical visits. The heartbroken mother said, “I am sad to lose my son, but I believe—and I know—that my son is sitting with Jesus in Heaven." Lavee, the father, added, "Even if there is more persecution, we will continue believing in Jesus. We will walk faithfully with the Lord, even if we are the only ones doing it.  My encouragement comes from the story of Job in the Bible. He faced many tests and lost almost everything, but the Lord delivered him in the end. I believe the Lord God will always save us like He saved Job." Lavee said, "Please pray for our case in the court against the people who killed our child. Pray that the justice system is fair to us. Pray that the perpetrators do not find ways to harm us more if they are released. I am also unsure if God wants us to stay in the same village or look for a new place. Pray that the Lord leads us in making the right decision." Remarkably, Lavee said this.  "I believe that the people who plan to kill or harm us for any reason can open their hearts to see God's mercy and love, if we pray for them. So, please pray for them." Lavee is living the message of Mathhew 5:44 where Jesus said, "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” Iran's ballistic missiles hit Israeli hospital Iran fired a barrage of some 30 ballistic missiles early Thursday, scoring a direct hit on Israel's main southern hospital, the Soroka Medical Center, reports the Times of Israel.  Sam Mednick, a reporter with the Associated Press, brings us this report from the scene. MEDNICK: “The hospital was hit by a missile from Iran early Thursday morning. The top of the building is basically blown off, and you can still see smoke smoldering from the side of it hours later. “This is a major hit from Iran on in a major city on a big hospital, and one of the most significant hits since this conflict began.” The Magen David Adom emergency service said that a man, age 80, and two women, both in their 70s, were among six people seriously hurt. Two people were moderately injured, and at least 42 others suffered light injuries from shock waves and shrapnel at the various impact sites. In addition, 18 people were lightly injured as they scrambled to bomb shelters when sirens went off. The barrage was the latest from Iran as it bombards Israel with ballistic missiles. Israel began attacking Iranian nuclear and military sites last week, citing the immediate existential threat they pose. New York Catholic diocese to pay $150 million to 891 sex abuse victims The Roman Catholic Church in Buffalo, New York is set to pay $150 million to victims of sexual abuse that occurred at the hands of Catholic priests, reports The Catholic Review. Gary Aldridge, a survivor of Catholic clergy sexual abuse, said this. ALDRIDGE: “Being a child and being sexual abused from the ages of 7 to 11, it affects you for your whole life.” Specifically, parishes will pay $80 million into the diocese's $150 million bankruptcy settlement, with the funds due to be paid into a trust by July 15. The bankruptcy settlement, agreed to in principle on April 22, will resolve the five-year-long proceedings, which began in 2020.  Joe Martone, the Catholic communications director of the diocese, explained that the money would compensate victims in “approximately 891 cases” — making for “one of the highest caseloads in the country.” Martone added, “There's just a lot of anger toward the church about our past sins, and we could never apologize enough for what went on. We're just trying to take care of this now and trying to move beyond bankruptcy and get settlement for these people. Not that it provides closure for them, but at least (they) get some recompense.” All of the claims had been brought under the Child Victims Act, which was passed by the New York Senate and signed into law in 2019. Indeed, the Child Victims Act extended the state's former statute of limitations by granting a one-year look back for time-barred civil claims to be revived, giving survivors until age 28 to press charges for felonies and age 25 for misdemeanors, and allowing survivors up to age 55 to bring lawsuits. Since 2002 — the year in which the U.S. Catholic bishops adopted their “Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People” — the nation's Catholic dioceses have paid at least $5.6 billion in abuse settlements and related costs. Luke 8:17 says, “For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.” Texas is first state to build pro-life statue On Tuesday, Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott signed a resolution to build the Texas Life Monument, a statue honoring mothers and the their unborn children, reports The Daily Signal.   Abbott's signature made Texas the first state to approve of a pro-life statue honoring mother and child on Capitol grounds. GOP State Rep. Caroline Davila, co-author of the resolution, said, “The eight-foot bronze sculpture is modeled after the National Life Monument, which depicts a mother with her child in her womb—a powerful image honoring motherhood and the miracle of life.” SpaceX rocket explodes in new setback to Elon Musk's Mars project One of Elon Musk's SpaceX Starships has exploded during a routine test in Texas in the latest setback to the billionaire's dream of turning humanity into an interplanetary species, reports The Guardian. The Starship 36 underwent “catastrophic failure and exploded” at the Starbase launch facility shortly after 11pm on Wednesday. A video showed the fiery explosion of the megarocket. How much do you think they make in an entire year?  The answer is just $2,974.  The average American makes $63,795 per year.  In other words,  Quinn's gift of $30 is the equivalent of an American giving $643.  Wow!  That puts Quinn's gift in proper perspective. I just finished reading the late Ann Kiemel's 1976 book entitled I Love the Word Impossible.  She had a disarmingly gentle way of talking with absolute strangers about the love of God which prompted many to profess faith in Christ, and inspired hundreds of thousands who heard her speak in person.  Her 17 books sold 28 million copies.  On page 144, she wrote, “I love the word ‘impossible.' It's one of my favorites because I have a giant of a God inside of me.” KIEMEL: “I come to tell you, I am just one young woman in the world. But I am one. And one plus a giant of a God can do anything!” In the 10 years, I've been voicing this Christian newscast, we have never been further behind in our annual appeal.  To man, raising $44,295 in one day seems absolutely impossible.  But, you know what?  Like Ann Kiemel, I, too, love the word “impossible” because I have a giant of a God inside of me. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins and Republican New Jersey Gubernatorial candidate Jack Ciattarelli have both spoken out against the seizure and offered support to the Henry family. This came days after older Muslim students beat him severely, sending him to the hospital.  Khristopel Butarbutar faced bullying for his faith leading up to his death. Morning Star News reports his father said, “A week before, he had been bullied a lot. The perpetrators speak about his ethnicity, his religion.” Sadly, bullying at schools in Indonesia is escalating. There were 1,478 cases in 2023, up from 119 cases in 2020. Psalm 116:15 says, “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints.” United Kingdom decriminalized abortion up to birth The U.K. House of Commons voted Tuesday to effectively decriminalize abortion up to birth in England and Wales. The amendment to the Crime and Policing Bill ends the prosecution of women for getting an abortion at any stage of pregnancy. The measure must also pass in the House of Lords.  Catherine Robinson with Right To Life UK said, “This is the first time this extreme abortion amendment has been debated in the House of Commons, and there has been no consultation with the public on this seismic law change. We will be fighting this amendment at every stage in the [House of] Lords.” Supreme Court upholds state's right to ban transgender surgeries for kids In the United States, the Supreme Court upheld a Tennessee law yesterday that protects minors from transgender drugs and surgeries. The high court ruled 6-3 in the case. The liberal dissenters were Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan. and Ketanji Brown Jackson. Chief Justice John Roberts, who authored the majority opinion, wrote that the issue should be decided by the state. He said, “Having concluded that [the law] does not [violate the equal protection clause], we leave questions regarding its policy to the people, their elected representatives, and the democratic process.” The ruling will also support 26 other states with similar laws to protect children from transgender drugs and surgeries.  Kraft/Heinz will cut artificial dyes from food The Kraft Heinz Company announced Tuesday it will cut artificial dyes from its U.S. food products by 2027. This comes after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced measures in April to phase out petroleum-based synthetic dyes from the nation's food supply. U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. said, “For too long, some food producers have been feeding Americans petroleum-based chemicals without their knowledge or consent. … That era is coming to an end.” Daily Bible readers thrive more than non-daily Bible readers The American Bible Society released the third chapter of its State of the Bible USA 2025 report. The survey used the Human Flourishing Index from Harvard University which measures six domains of life, including satisfaction, health, purpose, character, and social relationships. The report found people who read the Bible every day scored 7.9 out of 10 on the index compared to 6.8 for those who never read the Bible. Also, younger generations tend to have the lowest levels of flourishing. However, both Gen Zers and Millennials who engage regularly with Scripture scored an impressive average of 8.1 on the index.  Psalm 119:105 says, “Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Old Nordic letters carved into Canadian bedrock spell the Lord's Prayer Archaeologists recently announced the meaning of centuries-old Nordic runes, or alphabet letters, that were carved into the Canadian bedrock, reports CBC News.  Ryan Primrose, the director of the Ontario Centre for Archaeological Education, has been studying the letters since their discovery in 2018.  He believes they were written by Swedes who were hired to work at trading posts in the Canadian wilderness in the 1800s.  The 255 characters of Nordic runes or alphabet actually spell out the words of the Lord's Prayer in Swedish. They appear to come from a 1611 runic version of the prayer. The runes cover a square of about four feet by five feet and probably took weeks to carve. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Adam McManus Pakistani Muslims level false accusations against Christians Muslims in Pakistan are using the country's blasphemy laws to target religious minorities. Human Rights Watch released a report on the issue, entitled, “A Conspiracy to Grab the Land: Exploiting Pakistan's Blasphemy Laws for Blackmail and Profit.” For example, Christians experience false accusations of blasphemy against Islam. Locals then weaponize the accusations by inciting mob violence against Christians and seizing their property.  Sadly, the government does little to nothing about such attacks. Pakistan is ranked eighth on the Open Doors' World Watch List of the most difficult places to be a Christian.  Psalm 14:4 asks, “Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up My people as they eat bread, and do not call on the LORD?” Trump warns Iranian civilians to evacuate Tehran U.S. President Donald Trump called for Iranian civilians to evacuate their capital city of Tehran this week as fighting between Israel and Iran escalates.  And yesterday, he wrote on Truth Social, “We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader' is hiding.  ... We are not going to take him out. ... at least not for now. But we don't want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin.” A senior White House official told Fox News that U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities are on the table.  Supreme Court: Religious groups cannot be compelled to fund abortion On Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court reversed a lower court ruling that had previously forced religious groups to fund abortions. The state of New York required groups, including churches, to cover abortions in their health insurance plans for employees. Religious groups have been challenging the policy for years. Attorney Noel Francisco commented on the case. He said, “Religious groups in the Empire State should not be forced to provide insurance coverage that violates their deeply held religious beliefs. We are confident that New York will finally get the message and stop discriminating against religious objectors.” House voted to cut $9 billion in foreign aid and public broadcasting The U.S. House of representatives narrowly passed a measure to cut $9 billion in funding for foreign aid and public broadcasting.  The House approved the legislation by a vote of 214-212 last Thursday.  House Speaker Mike Johnson commented, “It is just one of the ways Republicans are codifying DOGE's findings and putting taxpayer dollars to better use.” The bill faces an uncertain future in the U.S. Senate. Children's Hospital in Los Angeles closes its transgender center The Children's Hospital in Los Angeles recently announced it will close its so-called “Center for Transyouth Health and Development” next month.  The center performed sex mutilating surgeries and offered puberty-blocking drugs to children.  The announcement follows an executive order from President Trump that bans federal funding for transgender operations for minors. Alabama has most people with Biblical worldview; Rhode Island the least Dr. George Barna released a new report on the worldview of Americans ranked by state. The report notes that only 4% of U.S. adults hold to a Biblical worldview. However, that number varies by state. The states with the highest proportion of adults with a Biblical worldview are Alabama at 12.6%, Mississippi at 12.5%, South Carolina at 9.8%, and Arkansas at 9%. The warrant specifies the scope of the search, including what areas of the premises can be searched and what items can be seized.Execution of Raid: Law enforcement officers execute the raid in accordance with the terms of the warrant.
