(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Adam McManus Haitian gang members killed 50 people in church Gang members attacked a church in Haiti on Sunday, killing nearly 50 people. Displaced people were sheltering in the building of Church of the Ark of the New Covenant. The evangelical church is located near Haiti's capital, Port-au-Prince. Up to 90 percent of the area is controlled by gangs. The gang members killed 47 people and injured another 22 people.  Please pray for Christians in Haiti who face much of the widespread gang violence in the country.  In John 10:10, Jesus said, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” Germany first country to display Muslim prayer times on official signs Evangelical Focus reports a German town became the first in the country to display Muslim prayer times on its official signs. The municipality of Penzberg previously listed Sunday service times for the Catholic and Lutheran parishes in town. Signage now includes prayer times for the local mosque established in 1990. Muslims with a migrant background make up about eight percent of Germany's population, up from five percent in 2016. New U.S. economic sanctions against Iran The Trump administration announced aggressive economic sanctions against Iran on Monday.  Operation Economic Outcast aims to cut Iran's financial connections with the rest of the world. The sanctions will also affect any country doing business with the regime.  Listen to comments from Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. BESSENT: “We want to make clear here today that no one is above the reach of U.S. sanctions. That if they facilitate transactions and are part of the ecosystem that turns Iranian oil into money, into repression, they will be targeted.” Facebook/Instagram pay $18 billion over addictive algorithms for kids Meta Platforms agreed to pay up to $18 billion over the next decade in a settlement announced yesterday. Nearly every U.S. state accused the social media company of designing its platforms to be addictive to children. The tech giant is being held accountable for the role its platforms played in undermining children's mental health. These platforms include Facebook and Instagram.  California will get the largest sum of $1.5 billion, but several other states will still collect hundreds of millions of dollars each over the decade. The money will be used to pay for legal fees, mental health care for children, after-school programs, and education about the risks of social media use. According to the Associated Press, Meta will eliminate push notifications during weekday school hours and bring in “robust” age-assurance measures and “age-appropriate” content controls to prevent bullying and harmful material about eating disorders and self-harm. The case also argued that Meta violated federal laws by routinely collecting data on children under 13 without their parents' consent. As part of the settlement, Meta agreed to limit teenagers' use of Instagram and Facebook to a couple of hours a day. 1,235 assisted suicide deaths in California last year The state of California reported 1,235 assisted suicide deaths last year. The death toll is up nearly 150 percent over the past five years.  The California End of Life Option Act allows adults, expected to live six months or less, to obtain life-ending drugs. The state has authorized the deaths of at least 6,758 people since the law went into effect in 2016. 3 California homeschoolers sue over prohibition from participation Three homeschool families petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court last week after California excluded them from a state program. Some of California's tuition-free charter schools allow homeschool academy programs. However, families cannot use state funds from these charter schools for religious curriculum.  In one case, the state rejected a grammar exercise simply because it used the sentence: “God sends the rain to help plants grow.”  Acts 14:17 says God “did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good, gave us rain from Heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.” Protestant churches are multigenerational Most Protestant churches report being multigenerational.  A survey from Lifeway Research found 91 percent of churchgoers agree their church has a good number of active members from all generations. Seventy-eight percent of pastors also agree.  Being multigenerational was more frequently reported by pastors of larger churches, younger pastors, and evangelical pastors.  Dolly Parton, who died at 80, championed a false gospel And finally, PARTON:  “Workin' 9 to 5, what a way to make a livin' Barely gettin' by, it's all takin' and no givin'” Dolly Parton, the country singer, actress, and businesswoman, died peacefully at her home in Nashville, Tennessee on Tuesday. She was 80 years old. Known as the Queen of Country, the singer-songwriter is among one of the best-selling music artists of all time.  She wrote and sang this song in 1974 which Whitney Houston would later famously cover.  PARTON: “And I will always love you I will always love you.” Parton grew up in a Pentecostal church and described herself as a person of faith.  PARTON: “My grandpa was a preacher. So, my grandpa pastored this little church called the House of Prayer. He was a very positive, uplifting person. And I learned to love Jesus, and learned that Jesus loved me when I was a little bitty kid. “And all those things that Mama used to say, you know, that through God all things are possible. I kept all those things kind of tucked away into my subconscious mind and in my heart. And those are the things that have helped me through the years. I never do anything that I don't pray about it, and I always ask God to lead me and to show me and direct me into what I'm doing.” She was married to her husband Carl Thomas Dean for nearly 60 years until his death in 2025. As a philanthropist, Parton supported children's literacy and medical research. Sadly, she was also known as an advocate for unbiblical causes like homosexual behavior and faux homosexual marriage.  Appearing with Larry King, she defended homosexuality. KING: “Didn't you recently, though, throw support to the [Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender] community?” PARTON: “Oh, I've always encouraged, not encouraged. They've made me the poster child I think only because I'm so outspoken as far as just being accepting of people in general.  “I do not believe that we should criticize and judge other people. I think we should be accepting and loving. We are all God's children. We are who we are, and we should allow, be allowed to be who we are.” Kate Newman, a Christian YouTuber, objected to Parton's bad theology, referencing John 1:12. NEWMAN: “We are not all children of God, contrary to popular belief. We receive the Spirit of adoption from God when we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and we are led by His Holy Spirit. But until then, we're actually all children of the devil.” Larry King asked Dolly Parton this follow-up question. KING: “Did any of the faith-based communities that deeply believe the other way take umbrage with you?” PARTON: “Oh, absolutely. KING: “They did?” PARTON: “Oh, yes. I get it all the time. I keep saying, ‘Well, if you're the fine Christian that you think you are, why are you judging people? That's God's job. We're not God. We're not judges.' You know, we're supposed to love one another. We're supposed to not judge.  “If you're gay, you're gay. If you're straight, you're straight. And you should be allowed to be, you know, how how you are and who you are.” In 2024, Ericka Andersen wrote a column for The Federalist entitled “There's nothing loving about Dolly Parton's false gospel.” She argued that, “Parton's version of love, which includes condoning immoral sexual behavior  is unaligned with God's vision for humanity. Like so many secularized spiritual leaders, Parton equates love with agreement, but the two are not reciprocal. Love doesn't mean we must accept sinfulness as good to avoid hurting someone's feelings. “To be sure, the culture is on a constant witch hunt for those who would call homosexuality sinful. I understand wanting to avoid the avalanche of criticism, but calling sin out by name isn't judgment. It's adhering to Scripture. “She's right that all should be treated with love and kindness, but when we refuse to label sin a sin, we're doing more harm than good.  The gospel of Dolly Parton is popular with the masses, but don't bank your eternity on it.” Leviticus 18:22 says, “Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Thursday, August 27th, in the year of our Lord 2026. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Somalian Muslims attack mother of 8 for trusting Christ Muslim extremists in Somalia, Africa attacked a mother of eight for converting from Islam to Christianity. Sophia Ibrahim came to Christ in April 2022. Several Muslim men beat her unconscious after they found her attending a Bible study this month. She was discharged from the hospital last week.  Ibrahim told Morning Star News, “I will continue serving [God] and making others know Him because of the everlasting life and the joy of knowing Christ.”   Somalia is ranked second on the Open Doors' World Watch List of the most dangerous countries worldwide to be a Christian.  In Philippians 3:8, the Apostle Paul wrote, “Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ.” Bible app expands footprint into Latin America The Bible app YouVersion is expanding its presence in Latin America. YouVersion leaders met in Mexico City last week to partner with churches and ministries. Among Latin American countries, Mexico and Colombia have some of the highest levels of Bible app usage. YouVersion CEO Bobby Gruenewald told Christian Daily International, “It took us 17 years to reach the first 1 billion devices. We believe the next billion will come in the next five years. There is a hunger for the Word of God at a global level.”   2 Timothy 3:16 says, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness.” Update on Trump's border wall The Trump administration is continuing to build the wall on the U.S.-Mexico border. The New American reported, “According to data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection, as of mid-August 2026, about 365 miles of primary border wall, 58 miles of replacement border wall, and 423 miles of secondary border wall either are now under construction or have been completed since U.S. President Donald Trump took office in January 2025.” The Trump administration is seeking to build or finish 1,200 new miles of wall, as well as hundreds more miles of vehicle barriers and replacement wall. Funding for the continued border project mostly comes from Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act, passed in 2025. President Trump rejected trans ideology and affirmed parental rights President Donald Trump addressed education at the White House on Monday as many students return to school this week.  The president specifically called out transgender ideology in schools. Listen. TRUMP: “Every public school in America is now on notice that if they tell a child that they are trapped in the wrong body, they are committing child abuse. … “Under the Trump administration, we're systematically ending every single one of these radical Left betrayals, and we're putting the parents back in charge. They're the ones that love our children. They're the ones that should be in charge.” (applause) Alliance Defending Freedom advances religious liberty in 250 bills Alliance Defending Freedom is helping to advance religious liberty through over 250 state and federal bills this year. These measures support core God-given freedoms. Dozens have already become law. The organization said it provided “legal analysis, bill review, and guidance on laws that curb radical gender ideology, end institutional censorship, and help secure parental rights.” 570th anniversary of Gutenberg Bible And finally, this week in history is commemorated as the anniversary of the Gutenberg Bible. It is named after Johannes Gutenberg, a German inventor and printer. The earliest date appearing on a copy of the completed Gutenberg Bible is August 24, 1456 – 570 years ago. This Bible represented the first work printed in Europe with moveable type. The new printing press would become invaluable for the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century. It allowed teachers like Martin Luther to easily spread their writings on the Bible. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson and Timothy Reed Indonesian pastor sentenced for citing Mohammed's polygamy An Indonesian pastor has been sentenced to two years in prison for pointing out Mohammad's polygamy. At the time of his death, the founder of Islam had nine wives. Dedi Saputra was falsely accused of “hostility, hatred or incitement” with a “potential of causing unrest.”  Like Dedi, the Apostle Paul ran into troubles along the way as well.  In Acts 17:4-5, Luke writes, “And some of them [in Thessalonica] were persuaded; and a great multitude of the devout Greeks, and not a few of the leading women, joined Paul and Silas. “But the Jews who were not persuaded, becoming envious, took some of the evil men from the marketplace, and gathering a mob, set all the city in an uproar.”     Surrogate mother speaks up for choosing life Baby Gabriel, the child in the middle of a massive rent-a-womb controversy, has survived his first heart surgery since being born two weeks ago. The child's surrogate mother, McKenna West, refused to abort him despite being sued by his biological parents, Nausheen Gilkar and Omar Ahmed. However, Baby Gabriel is now in the custody of the very parents who sought to have him killed!  In the New York Post, Miss West wrote, “No woman should be forced to kill the baby inside her. Most importantly, every child deserves a chance to live. As a cardiac nurse, I knew this little one had a great shot at survival if given the opportunity to receive the necessary treatment. “After I communicated to the contracting couple that I could not end this baby's life, their lawyer, and my own former lawyer, sent me letters threatening six-figure penalties if I didn't comply with their demand to terminate. The contracting couple cut off my payments, and I covered the rest of the pregnancy expenses myself.” Here's what Miss West told Lila Rose in the Live Action podcast.  WEST: “A diagnosis does not automatically mean that there is no hope or that somebody cannot live. But I knew that this baby boy that I was carrying, that I was feeling move, that he deserved that chance.” Listen to this word for our day from Exodus 22:22-24. “You shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child.  If you afflict them in any way, and they cry at all to Me, I will surely hear their cry; and My wrath will become hot, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.” America and Canada at a stalemate in trade war The United States and Canada are in another trade war. The White House has announced that the U.S. will impose 50% tariffs on certain Canadian products like vehicles and steel imports. And now, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney says Canada will “hit back.”  Here's what Carney said in a press conference on Saturday: “You're at war when you're attacked, and we got attacked.” He added this. CARNEY: “We cannot accept what they've offered and we will not give what they've asked.”  (Read the transcript of Carney's remarks) Trump added this on Truth Social on Sunday: “Canada wants the benefits of being a State, without being one!!! They have also charged our great farmers, for many years, massive amounts of tariffs. No more!!!” United States to buy back its own bonds to lower inflation U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced that the federal government will be buying back its own bonds in an effort to rein in inflation and reduce the interest on the bonds, reports CNBC. That means that the government will use its $1 trillion checking account -- which happens to be borrowed money to begin with -- to buy its long-term bonds, in an artificial attempt to reduce interest rates. U.S. debt topped $40 trillion The United States federal debt topped $40 trillion last week, reports CBS News. (Check out the eye-opening website www.USDebtClock.org) The market responded. According to Fortune Magazine, gold is back up to $4,650 an ounce and silver is scraping $70 an ounce. Condo prices sinking Condo prices are sinking like a rock in 33 major city markets including in Florida, California, Texas, Colorado, and Washington state.  Wolf Street estimates a 29% average drop since the 2022 peak. Add inflation into that and that's a 38% drop in condominium prices. Condo prices can signal housing stress before the rest of the market collapses.  Divorce rate up for those over 55 U.S. divorce rates are way up for people older than 55 years of age. In fact, they've doubled since 1990. And,  among those over 65, the divorce rate has increase five-fold since 1990.   A recent Bowling Green University study found that the 50+ crowd now accounts for nearly 40% of all people getting divorced. That was only 8% in 1990. 2032 is Social security depletion date The Social Security depletion date has moved up another three months, now targeted for 2032. The ratio of workers paying into Social Security per retiree has plummeted from more than 5-to-1 in 1960 to 2.9-to-1 today. Mel Gibson to release Resurrection movies in 2027 Film producer and director Mel Gibson is wrapping up a 10-year project — a production of the sequel for The Passion of the Christ. The project is slated to be released as a two-part series on the Resurrection sometime in March and May next year — Good Friday and Ascension Day on the Christian calendar. The films were shot in Rome. Spiderman: Brand New Day misuses God's name 16 times And finally, the blockbuster film, Spiderman: Brand New Day, is #1 at the box office for its fourth week -- now at $2.2 billion worldwide. That's a record for the franchise. But Focus on the Family's PluggedIn.com and Ted Baehr's MovieGuide.org both warn of foul language, the single most concerning drawback for families. Water systems connected to the internet are vulnerable, as systems in many states across the country have been hacked, according to the FBI and Environmental Protection Agency.  CBS News reported that some water systems lost pressure, while others lost their remote-control capabilities. According to officials, no drinking water has been directly affected. Water hackers have been linked to Iran and China.

(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Urge Chinese ambassador to allow Chinese pastor to come to U.S. ChinaAid, an international group supporting persecuted Christians inside China, has launched a petition and advocacy campaign to bring Pastor John Cao back to his home in the U.S, reports International Christian Concern. Pastor John has been imprisoned in China for seven years for his missionary work on the China-Myanmar border, helping establish 16 schools that serve thousands of local children and families. While he was “released” in 2024, he is still blocked from returning to the United States, where his wife and sons -- all of whom are American citizens -- live. To make matters worse, Pastor John now has advanced prostate cancer, and his situation is even more critical. ChinaAid's campaign and petition, which I've signed, call for Pastor John's immediate release, particularly urging President Donald Trump to personally raise his situation in his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on September 24th. Write a polite and urgent 4-sentence note to the Chinese Ambassador to America, Xie Feng, urging him to persuade Chinese President Jinping to release Pastor John Cao so he can reunite with his wife and children here in America. Wolves in White Coats: How doctors profited from “gender medicine” Appearing on Epoch TV, Admiral Brian Christine, who serves as the Health and Human Services Assistant Secretary, discussed a disturbing new report entitled “Wolves in White Coats: How Doctors and Hospitals Pushed and Profited from the Fraud of so-called ‘Gender Medicine.'” He laid significant blame on the Biden administration and his predecessor, a man born Richard Levine in 1957, who pretended to be a woman named “Rachel.” CHRISTINE: “The gender ideology pushed on the American people, and these unfortunate children, by the Biden administration, the last administration, and by my predecessor ‘Rachel' Levine, he really pushed gender ideology on the country and even suggested removing age limitations on performing mutilating surgeries or castrating chemicals.” Admiral Christine defined what a sex-rejecting procedure was. CHRISTINE: “Sex rejecting procedures: What we mean is either castrating chemicals, cross-sex hormones, or even surgeries to change the external appearance of the body. These mutilating surgeries that don't do anything to change gender, but radically change the appearance of the body, and can certainly have complications along the way.” He revealed the alarming number of surgeries that were tragically performed on confused minors. CHRISTINE: “From 2019 up to 2023, $120 million spent on sex-rejecting procedures in this country. Over 5,500 surgeries, sex-rejecting surgeries on minors.” Not surprisingly, fraud abounded. CHRISTINE: “There was $11 million billed for ‘precocious' puberty in kids who were 13 to 17 years old. That's not precocious puberty. That's just puberty!” The financial incentive for the ethically-challenged doctors is obvious. CHRISTINE: “If you take a child who has gender dysphoria and you get them to agree to sex-rejecting procedures, you've created a patient for life. So, there can be a tremendous financial incentive for these practitioners and these clinics to have these patients who come back again and again and again.” Psalm 82:4 says, “Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” ‘Influencer' tries to justify her 26-week abortion A social media fitness and lifestyle influencer in Australia with 480,000 followers, named Danielle Mitchell, has publicly documented the details of her abortion at 26 weeks after discovering her baby had severe defects and might have died before birth, reports LifeSiteNews.com. MITCHELL: “We had our fetal medicine growth scan today. And they also had our results for the amnio[centesis], the chromosomal abnormalities, and some new findings on her brain, being that she won't survive.” She went viral for sharing a video on X in which she explains that she had scheduled an abortion. Oddly enough, she entitled it, “Our sweet baby girl goes to sleep with the angels today at 26 weeks.” Through tears, she said this. MITCHELL: “I feel like I'm at peace with my decision. I didn't know how late-term terminations work. “You lay on a bed, awake, and they have doctors and midwives in the room. Under ultrasound, [they put] a needle into the baby's heart, and inject it to stop it from beating. And then you slowly feel all the movements stop from the baby.  No more kicks. Get sent home for another 24 hours, back up to the hospital, and they induce you, and give birth to a sleeping baby.” Mitchell became extremely emotional, saying that she needed to “let out” the grief before she explained to her young daughter that her baby would not be here anymore. MITCHELL: “Baby sister is gonna go live in the clouds today with Nanny Sandy. Okay?” DAUGHTER: “I love you.” MITCHELL: “I love you too, baby. Cuddle?” DAUGHTER: (giggles) On X, Mitchell's video of herself explaining the abortion was shared without the context of the child's condition. She was lambasted there in a flurry of outrage, while on her Instagram page she was met with more sympathy by followers who perceived that she felt she had “no choice” and was sparing her baby suffering overall. Some social media users pointed out that the diagnoses and prognoses of doctors for unborn children are frequently false. LifeSiteNews noted, “A high likelihood that a baby will not survive birth is never a justification for the direct killing of innocent life.” In response, veteran pro-life activist Frank Pavone shared a prayer for women considering abortion, and for the protection of unborn children. He wrote, “Dear Lord, send Your heavenly angels to women thinking about abortion. Protect their unborn children, soften the hearts of their parents, and open their eyes to the truth that abortion takes an innocent human life. Amen.” Young brothers address science and the Bible And finally, Beau, age 11, and Gray Reusch, age 8, are young brothers who have gone viral on social media for creating Christian faith and apologetics content through their family's brand, Armor Up Kids. Their father is Will Reusch, the founder of Armor Up Academy. In one of their videos, they explore the Bible and science. GREY: “People say, ‘It's Bible versus science.'” BEAU: “But what if they've been saying the same thing the whole time?” GREY: “Watch this.” BEAU: “I'm Beau.” GREY: “And I'm Grey.” BEAU AND GREY: “Let's show you something crazy!” GREY: “The Bible says a grateful heart is good medicine. Proverbs 17:22.” BEAU: “Science says gratitude reduces depression and improves mental health.” GREY:  “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. That's Romans 12:2.” BEAU: “Science calls that, here we go, neuroplasticity. It means your brain can literally change.” GREY: “Jesus said some things only come from prayer and fasting. That's Matthew 17:21.” BEAU: “Science says fasting helps your body heal and reset itself. It's called cellular autophagy. And it actually won the Nobel Prize.” GREY: “But a peaceful heart gives life, but envy rots the bones. That's Proverbs 14:30.” BEAU: “Science shows anger increases disease and stress in your body.” GREY: “Sing and make music for the Lord. That's Ephesians 5:19.” BEAU: “Science says music releases dopamine and reduces stress.” GREY: “So, the Bible isn't outdated.” BEAU: “It's ahead of its time.” GREY: “God designed your mind …” BEAU: “and science is just catching up.” GREY AND BEAU: “So, it's not Bible versus science. It's truth confirming truth! ” GREY: “Don't ignore what God already said.” BEAU: “You might be missing what actually works.” Psalm 111:2 says, "Great are the works of the Lord; they are pondered by all who delight in them." (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Nigerian policed arrested 22-year-old for converting to Christianity Nigerian police arrested a 22-year-old woman for converting to Christianity from Islam, reports International Christian Concern. Though the Federal High Court ruled in her favor, the Christian family that helped her is facing false charges of kidnapping. In 2025, “Sarah” fled from her home in Kano State after her elder siblings tried forcing her into an arranged marriage with a Muslim. While she was on the run, a Christian family took her in and shared the Gospel with her. Through the Abaras family's witness, she gave her life to Jesus Christ.  When her siblings learned of her conversion, they began working with the local Hisbah, the Islamic police force, to track her down and arrest her.  Police discovered her and detained her for four days, during which they beat her and pressured her to return home and accept the Muslim-arranged marriage. When she was released, the Abaras family helped her escape to a neighboring state with less Muslim influence. Please pray for Sarah's safety and that her Christian faith would grow stronger. According to Open Doors, Nigeria, Africa is the seventh most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. Ex-Fauci adviser pleads guilty to concealing COVID-19 origins On August 18th, Dr. Anthony Fauci's former senior adviser pleaded guilty to plotting to conceal federal records related to research on the origins of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, reports the Associated Press. Dr. David Morens is scheduled to be sentenced on November 12 by U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis in Greenbelt, Maryland. Morens pleaded guilty to conspiring to defraud the U.S. government, a felony punishable by a maximum prison sentence of five years. Morens is accused of using his private email account to intentionally circumvent public records laws while employed at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. The Justice Department alleges that he concealed or destroyed records of discussions related to COVID-19 research grants, including an effort to revive a controversial coronavirus grant. The indictment follows a probe by House Republicans into the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic that scrutinized Morens' email communications and accused him of intentionally concealing records. In congressional testimony, Morens denied attempting to evade federal transparency laws by using his personal email. Proverbs 12:22 says, “The Lord detests lying lips, but He delights in people who are trustworthy.” Senator Darline Graham performed poorly in Senatorial run-off debate On August 19th, NewsMaxTV hosted the South Carolina GOP Senatorial run-off debate between Senator Darline Graham, who was appointed by South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster in the wake of the death of her brother Lindsey Graham, and Congressman Ralph Norman. When Greta Van Susteren asked a foreign policy question, it was clear that Senator Darline was out of her depth. Listen. VAN SUSTEREN: “Senator [Graham], are Taiwan and the South China Sea national security issues for the United States? If so, why?” GRAHAM: “Um. I'm sorry. Could you repeat the question?” VAN SUSTEREN: “Are Taiwan and the South China Sea national security issues for the United States. And if so, why or how?” GRAHAM: “I'm just going to be honest here. I'm not on national security. I'm not that informed on national security. (audience boos and laughs) So, but I do support the military. My brother was in the Air Force for 33 years, so I will do everything I can to support the military. My dad was in the Army. “I'm not a polished politician up here. I'm … National security is not my thing, not my area of expertise. But I do support the military.” By contrast, Congressman Ralph Norman, her opponent in the South Carolina GOP Senatorial run-off, said this. NORMAN: “Taiwan's a definite ally. We have a trading relationship with them that is beneficial to the United States – [computer] chips being one of them, and others. “So, what the, what the president is doing right is he's enabling Taiwan to defend themselves against China. But it's peace through strength that he's showing with Iran that China, Russia, others are looking at it. They don't want to deal with America, and that's why they haven't attacked Taiwan. “If they had some weak Democrat in office, like Biden or another Obama, yeah, they'd take it over. But we can't let that happen. Peace through strength is working.” J.D. Vance believes Christian lifestyle suffices over verbal evangelism And finally, in a July 15th appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Vice President J.D. Vance, who converted to Catholicism from Protestantism, explained that he does not evangelize by word. VANCE: “You know, I don't preach to people. I don't, like, walk into the White House, tell my employees, ‘You know, you need to be, you need to follow Jesus as your Lord and Savior.' I just try to live my life in a way that hopefully makes people a little curious about what, you know, what motivates me and what inspires me.” Todd Friel, a reformed pastor in Atlanta, is the host of the Wretched Network which produces radio shows, TV shows, and books. He says the notion of wretched is at the very core of the Gospel because God saves wretches like us. Friel had this response to Vice President Vance. FRIEL:  “According to 1 Peter 3, that is true: We should live in such a way that it causes unbelievers, who are persecuting us, to ask about the reason for the hope that lies within us. That is most certainly true. “However, that is not the end of our responsibility. We are also called to make the most of every opportunity, to go and make disciples. It is our lifestyle that undergirds our confession, testimony, and evangelism. But a lifestyle is not evangelism itself.” Joe Rogan agreed with Vice President Vance. ROGAN: “I think living by example is probably the best promotion of any good way to live your life …” VANCE: “I agree.” ROGAN: “… whether it's Christianity or any other religion. I think that's definitely the way to do it.” Friel replied with this analysis. FRIEL: “It is a part of it. It does undergird our testimony, but how will they hear unless somebody preaches to them? In other words, evangelism requires words! Nobody can actually find a credible source of Saint Francis of Assisi, who said, ‘Share the Gospel, and if necessary, use words.' Well, it is necessary! Otherwise, you're just being a nice person.” Indeed, in Romans 10:14-15, the Apostle Paul asks, “How then will they call on Him in Whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in Him of Whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? Fifty-nine-old-pastor Y Nuen Ayun had been leading unregistered religious activities since 2003. The communist government often uses fabricated charges to silence Christians.  International Christian Concern noted, “Despite these realities, the church in Vietnam continues to faithfully and boldly advance God's kingdom under oppression.” 1 Peter 4:14 says, “If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part, He is blasphemed, but on your part, He is glorified.” Send a polite, 3-sentence note to the Vietnamese Ambassador to America, Nguyen Quoc Dzung, urging him to ask his government to release 59-year-old-pastor Y Nuen Ayun. The country's government issued the new policy last month. Canada already prohibited chaplains from praying at public events. But in Matthew 12:30, Jesus said, “He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.” Trump pauses 50% tariffs on Canadian goods U.S. President Donald Trump paused 50 percent tariffs on Canadian goods yesterday. The tariffs were set to go into effect today. The president said that the two countries had reached a deal, subject to the finalization of the documents.  Trump picked a pro-lifer to head the FDA President Donald Trump nominated Dr. Heidi Overton to lead the Food and Drug Administration yesterday. She previously served as a White House health policy adviser. Dr. Overton is an opponent of abortion. She has written about the dangerous rise of chemical abortion which was allowed by the FDA in previous years. Christian Forest Service officer no longer required to work on Sundays A U.S. Forest Service officer will no longer be required to work on Sundays. Adam Diemert is a Forest Service law enforcement officer in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. He is also a devout Presbyterian who attends church twice every Sunday. Adam submitted multiple religious accommodation requests to not work on Sundays. Sadly, the Forest Service denied those requests. But thanks to the legal help of First Liberty Institute, Adam finally received the accommodation last week.  Socialist Democrats score another primary victory Socialist Democrats picked up another primary victory on Tuesday. Socialist Angie Nixon defeated retired Army Lt. Col. Alex Vindman, in Florida's Democrat primary race for the U.S. Senate.  Listen to the opening line of her victory speech. The company announced yesterday, “Prime Air offers millions of items by drone at everyday low prices, in as fast as 30 minutes.” The service currently operates in just 11 U.S. locations.  President Trump meets heroic lifeguard who saved 10-year-old And finally, President Donald Trump recently met with a heroic lifeguard as well as the 10-year-old boy he rescued. Sixteen-year-old Ryder Williams saved Nathaniel Rai from a rip current at a beach in Santa Cruz, California last month. A video of the rescue went viral, getting the president's attention. When asked by a reporter what went through his mind, the lifeguard said this. WILLIAMS: “In those dangerous moments that we have, we always try to fall back on our training. We are trained so well, by many, to handle that situation as best we can. So, I really am just thinking about how to get the boy out of the water as fast as I can.” He was also asked about his plans for the future. WILLIAMS: “I want to be a firefighter in the future. Hopefully, go through paramedic school.” Williams and Rai got to visit the White House on Monday. President Trump commended Williams and emphasized the providential moment. The Observatory on Intolerance and Discrimination Against Christians in Europe recorded 40 cases last month. Vandalism was the most common incident. In one case, authorities arrested an Islamic-State sympathizer who was planning an arson attack on a church in Hamm, Germany. The highest number of recorded incidents occurred in Germany, followed by France, Italy, and the United Kingdom.   Ebola virus has killed 2,300 people in Congo This year's Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo is now the deadliest in the country's history. Over 2,300 people have died as of Sunday. And cases have reached about 5,000.  Christian aid groups like Samaritan's Purse are on the ground in Congo. Franklin Graham, president of the Christian relief group, said, “Samaritan's Purse has been on the frontlines of fighting Ebola for more than a decade, and we aren't going to stop now. We are going to do everything we can to help save lives. We want people to know that God loves them, and they are not alone.”  You can donate to Samaritan's Purse relief effort in Congo through a link in our transcript today at TheWorldview.com.  Trump gives $2 billion to Christian non-profits for disaster relief Here in the United States, the Trump administration announced nearly $2 billion in health and humanitarian assistance to faith-based organizations this month.  This includes over $500 million in disaster response funding for Samaritan's Purse and a consortium jointly led by World Vision and Compassion International.  The U.S. Department of State noted, “This historic announcement is the largest allocation of global health foreign assistance to faith-based organizations in over 20 years.” Conservative kicked out of school board meeting over filthy books Texas conservative Bonnie Wallace is suing the Houston Independent School District for removing her from a school board meeting. Wallace, who is a member of Protecting Texas Children, had sought to shine light on the immoral and inappropriate materials children are subjected to in schools. When she stepped up to the podium at first, she said this which was captured on video. WALLACE: “Before you purchase new books, you need to get rid of the 500 filthy books that you have. If there's children in the audience, they need to leave.” BOARD MEMBER: “Ma'am, Point of Order. This is a public hearing.” WALLACE: “I understand that.” BOARD MEMBER: “You will not be allowed to read things that are not appropriate.” WALLACE: “Oh, not appropriate? Then, why are they in your schools?” After she cited the first vulgar reference from a children's book in the school library, the board member said this. BOARD MEMBER: ”Absolutely not! Ma'am, you are now out of order. This is your first warning. One more word, and you will be removed.” After Bonnie Wallace read a second vulgar passage from the book in the children's library, the school board member asked for a police officer to remove her from the meeting. BOARD MEMBER: “Officer, please remove this woman from the podium.” WALLACE: “If you don't like it, remove it so the children don't have access to it!” BOARD MEMBER: “Thank you very much.” Grant Stinchfield, a conservative talk show host on Real America's Voice, was understandably outraged. STINCHFIELD: “That woman you see there, being walked out, simply read one of the books in the school library. Now, if it's not appropriate for a school board meeting, how is it appropriate for our children?” In her lawsuit, Wallace alleged, “This was textbook viewpoint discrimination: Such conduct is ‘an egregious form' of content regulation that the First Amendment almost never tolerates.” Isaiah 5:20-21 says, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness. … Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!” Planned Parenthood closes Albuquerque, New Mexico abortion mill Planned Parenthood shut down its Northeast Heights abortion facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico last month.  It's the latest closure as the abortion giant consolidates locations in the state.  Bud Shaver, executive director of Abortion Free New Mexico, told LifeNews, “Despite New Mexico leaders pouring taxpayer money into abortion and using government policy to prop up the industry, abortion facilities are still consolidating and closing.” Vaccination rate for kindergartners dropped slightly Vaccination rates for kindergartners dropped slightly during the 2025-2026 school year.  The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports the rate dropped by one percent overall.  Exemptions from one or more vaccines rose to 4.2 percent, up from 3.6 percent the previous year. Christian men, mainline Protestants, and Catholics dissatisfied with church And finally, the American Bible Society released the latest chapter of its State of the Bible: USA 2026 report.  The survey found some population groups struggled with church attendance compared to others. These include Christian men, young adult Christians, mainline Protestants, and Roman Catholics. Gen Z men reported the lowest satisfaction with the churches they attend. Overall, weekly and monthly church attendance remain unchanged from two years ago. The survey did note an uptick in people attending church about twice a year. That amounts to about eight million more Americans attending a church service in 2025 compared to two years earlier. Psalm 84:2 and 10 says, “My soul longs, yes, even faints for the courts of the LORD. My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. … For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. Bridget Toomey analyzes the reawakening of the Yemeni Civil War, noting that the Houthis are launching fresh offensives to seize the Red Sea coast and the Bab el-Mandeb choke point. While the Houthis claim to target Saudiinterests, their primary focus has shifted to defeating government-backed ground troops. Toomey highlights the extensive use of drone technology by both sides, with the Houthis demonstrating sophisticated capabilities while the Yemeni government adopts modified Chinese systems. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson and Timothy Reed Arizona pastor murdered by crucifixion Demonically inspired opposition to the Christian faith is on the rise here in the United States as well as overseas.  A Christian pastor in Arizona was subjected to a crucifixion-type murder last year. The perpetrator, Adam Sheafe, confessed he did it because the pastor would not compromise on his teaching on the Biblical doctrine of the Trinity and the deity of Jesus Christ.   The murderer, in this case, has been sentenced to life in prison. “For this reason, the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill Him, because He had done these things on the Sabbath..  . but also that He said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.” That's John 5:16 and 18.   Ukraine has achieved an 8-1 casualty ratio with Russia since January Ukraine is back on top in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.  The Center for Strategic and International Studies reports that Ukraine has achieved as much as an 8-1 casualty ratio since the beginning of the year — up from a 2-1 ratio since the beginning of the war.  The report also notes that the war is taking a toll on the Russian people. They suffer from a “sputtering economy, higher prices on groceries and other expenses, tax increases, significant internet restrictions, and an oppressive crackdown on freedom of speech.” Russia has suffered an estimated 450,000 fatalities in the conflict. That compares to the United States losing 102,000 men in military conflicts since World War II. Dramatic increase in military budgets in the Far East Sabers are rattling in the Pacific. Japan's military budget is up 5% year-over-year. South Korea's budget is up 7.5%. The Philippines' budget is up 9%.  And Taiwan's is up 16%.  China's build-up began 25 years ago and is now averaging 7% per year. China's budget is running at $283 billion compared to Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan which are spending $150 billion combined.  America's deficit up 11% Here in America, for the first 10 months of the fiscal year, the U.S. deficit registered an 11% increase year-over-year. That's 31% above the average deficit produced by the Biden budgets between 2021 and 2025. Proverbs 28:22 reads, “A man with an evil eye hastens after riches, and does not consider that poverty will come upon him.” Gen Z investors believe sports betting is good investment An online survey of 1,000 U.S. retail investors conducted in late March and early April, which was released this week, found that 52% of Gen Z investors were planning to shift money originally set aside for stocks or other investments into sports wagers over the past year.  Only about one-third of Gen Z participants reported no involvement in sports betting at all, compared with 63% across all age groups in the survey. Specifically, 26% of Gen Z respondents -- those born between 1997 and 2007 -- said they view sports betting as a deliberate, ongoing part of their wealth strategy. That figure drops sharply with age: 14% of Millennials, 6% of Gen X, and just 1% of Baby Boomers reported the same outlook. Overall, U.S. sports betting has increased from $2 billion of waging to $166 billion in waging since 2018 - just eight years ago, according to Research Ground.   Gen Z also loves cryptocurrency In addition, Motley Fool's recent survey found that Gen Zers are the most likely to invest in cryptocurrency at 49% compared to other demographics including 46% of Millennials, 26% of Gen Xers, and 11% of Baby Boomers.   Plus, 57% of cryptocurrency purchasers think it's an investment, and 26% use it for a monetary exchange. But crypto is losing favor with American investors. Gallup's recent poll found only 2% of Americans favor crypto for a long-term investment which is down from 8% four years ago.  Real estate, stocks, and gold are the favorite choices for investors now. The birth dearth in America The National Center for Education Statistics reports that public schools in America have lost almost two million students since 2019.  This is partially due to the birth dearth – or the decline in America's fertility rate. Since 2015, it amounts to a loss of about one million children. Births to women in America topped out in 2007 at 2.12 or 2,122 births per 1,000 women aged 15–44.  Today, the birth rate is hovering around 1.57 or 1,570 births per 1,000 women. By contrast, the average birth rate for homeschooling families is 3.5 children per family. The Centers for Disease Control reveals that total U.S. births fell off during the first quarter of 2026  — a 2.1% drop off from the previous year. There were 4.3 million births in America in 2007, but only 3.6 million births last year. And we're looking at another drop of about 700,000 students this year.  This data points to an 18% drop in American births in 18 years.  Based on these recent numbers for American births, by 2031, the public schools will lose another 2.44 million students due to birth decline alone in this country. That's not counting the number of students who drop out. Shocker: Canadian male cyclist beating women in the sport And finally, men, pretending to be women, are once again proving that they can beat women in women's sports.  A Canadian cyclist, by the name of “Mr. Ivy,” claimed to have transgendered into a woman; after which he won a women's cycling championship. More recently, “Mr. Ivy” has gone on to win the Inter-Provincial Team title at the Canadian Women's Mid-Amateur Championship golf tournament.  This is actually the third time that he has won the women's Canadian golf tournament. The Senate has now adjourned for five weeks, and has no formal plans to try and pass the SAVE Act before fall.  President Donald Trump has repeatedly called on the Republican led Senate to secure American elections and to pass the SAVE Act, but to no avail. Republican Senator Mike Lee of Utah said, “We did our best, left no stone unturned. I wish the outcome had been different, both as to adjournment and as to these votes. This fight's not over. We're just getting started.” Contact your two U.S. Senators by phone or email and ask them to vote for the SAVE Act. 1,000 fake marriages to Chinese nationals in New York The Department of Justice charged 11 individuals in New York last week in a massive marriage fraud scheme. Per the Justice Department, more than 1,000 fake marriages were conducted, mostly between Chinese nationals seeking to obtain green card status in the United States. The operation had been running for more than 10 years.

(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus U.S. missionary freed after 9 months captivity from Niger, Africa On August 14th, Kevin Rideout, a 50-year-old American missionary who was kidnapped in Niger, Africa last October, was released and will be reunited with his extended family, reports ABC News. According to Serving In Mission International, an evangelical mission agency which works in 70 countries, 98% of the population in Niger is Muslim. The mission group said Rideout is “in good health in the care of U.S. officials” and that his wife, Krista, and the rest of his family “are profoundly grateful for the prayers offered on their behalf by people around the world throughout his captivity.” Psalm 135:3 says, "Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good.” Rideout was kidnapped outside his home in Niamey, Niger on October 21, 2025 by three gunmen.  Christian persecution has especially increased in Niger, Africa since 2023 after a military coup led by General Omar Tiani, head of the presidential guard unit, deposing democratically elected President Mohamed Bazoum.  After that coup, Niger's new military regime switched its alliances, choosing to start working with Russia and turning against Western allies. Indeed, the new regime ousted Western partners On Truth Social, President Donald Trump wrote, “I am proud to announce that Kevin Rideout, a wonderful Christian missionary, is back in United States custody. Kevin was kidnapped by Jihadi terrorists in West Africa — the epicenter of Islamist terrorism, where there have been more deadly attacks in the past year than anywhere else on Earth. Kevin, the United States of America looks forward to welcoming you HOME. Glad to have helped!” The full details surrounding Rideout's release are unclear. According to the Christian Broadcasting Network, the news comes the same week as the U.S. secured the release of another American, Robert Gilman, who had been held captive by Russia for four years. Gilman's health was failing in prison, and the U.S. and his family said he had been falsely accused and held by the Russian regime for political purposes. Earthquake hit Indonesia A magnitude 7.7 earthquake shook eastern Indonesia early Saturday, killing at least five people and touching off dozens of aftershocks, one measuring magnitude 6.1, reports the Christian Post. Flores island's Sikka Regency, which is part of East Nusa Tenggara Province, was the most affected area, where officials reported the earthquake's five deaths and several injuries. (Sikka Regency is a coastal district on the northeastern shore of Flores with a population of 346,000 spread over 647 square miles.) This Indonesian earthquake comes on the heels of an earthquake in Columbia on August 10th which killed 288 people and another earthquake in Venezuela on June 24th which killed 6,125 people. Please pray that God would comfort the families whose loved ones were killed in these three natural disasters. Dressed as Muslim, James O'Keefe exposes how MN enables voter fraud Investigative reporter James O'Keefe with the O'Keefe Media Group has exposed how Minnesota enables voter fraud by allowing registered voters to “vouch” for up to eight people living in the same precinct who are not registered to vote, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Dressed as a Muslim and accompanied by Cam Higby, who wore a burka, O'Keefe visited polls across Minneapolis and “presented an intentionally extreme scenario to expose the sheer lunacy of Minnesota's ‘vouching' system,” he explained on X.  O'KEEFE: “In Minnesota, you can show up on election day and vouch for up to eight unregistered voters. Members of the Justice League dress up in traditional Muslim attire and put this vouching law to an extreme test on primary day, August 11.” UNDERECOVER KEEFE: “The vouching?” POLL WORKER: “They're vouching for you?” UNDERECOVER KEEFE: “I vouch for them.” POLL WORKER: “Oh.” UNDERECOVER KEEFE: “Is that okay?” POLL WORKER: “Yes!” UNDERECOVER KEEFE: “How does that work?” POLL WORKER: “Well, if you're all in the same precinct.” UNDERECOVER KEEFE: “Yes.” POLL WORKER: “And you are already registered, which looks like you are, then you, you can vouch for them, as ID for them.” UNDERECOVER KEEFE: “Oh, good.” KEEFE: “I say they do not need ID. I just vouch for them.” POLL WORKER: “You're the ID.” UNDERECOVER KEEFE: “I am the ID. That's good. How many people may I vouch for?” POLL WORKER: “Eight.” UNDERECOVER KEEFE: “Eight? I can vouch for eight people?” POLL WORKER: “Mm-mm.” (Nodding affirmatively) UNDERECOVER KEEFE: “Eight people. No ID. We come right back. Thank you.” Poll workers explained to him “again and again” that the people accompanying him did not need to present ID to vote as long as he vouched for them and that he could vouch for up to eight precinct residents. O'Keefe explained that this is all legal in the state, citing Minnesota Statute § 201.061 which says, “A registered voter can sign an affidavit affirming that they know another individual resides in the same precinct, allowing that person to register at the polls without presenting standard proof of residence. One registered voter can vouch for up to eight people.” Liberty Counsel urges President Trump to end mail-order abortion And finally, Liberty Counsel Action sent a letter to President Donald Trump and senior federal officials urging the administration to reverse the Biden-era policy of allowing mail-order abortion. The letter is an advocacy measure stating Abortion Kill Pills prescribed through the mail, without an in-person medical visit, endangers women, weakens state pro-life protections, and strips numerous other health and safety measures, the group explained. Under Biden, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration removed the requirement for an in-person clinic visit for the prescription of abortion pills, and the Department of Justice nullified enforcement of the federal Comstock Act of 1873, allowing abortion drugs to be sent through the mail. Since the removal of in-person visits and unfettered mail-order access, data shows the rate of severe complications from chemical abortions, between 2017 and 2023, rose by 13 percent. In his Faith and Freedom podcast, Liberty Counsel President Mat Staver said this. STAVER: “You can get these abortion drugs tele-med without ever seeing a doctor. Used to be that you needed to see a doctor at the very beginning, then you would get the prescription. Then, if you took the drug, you had to see a doctor as a follow-up because you could have complications. Now, there's no in-person visit before or after, and you can get this by tele-med. So, it's become very dangerous.” Liberty Counsel Action recommended “the immediate revocation of the Biden-era policy permitting the mailing of abortifacient drugs, whether by restoring the FDA's pre-Biden abortion pill safety protocols, enforcing of the Comstock Act, or both.” President Trump has previously declared that the states must determine their own abortion laws. In the letter, Liberty Counsel Action also advocated for that stated position noting that “abortion policy should be left to the states,” and pro-life state laws should not be “undermined by out-of-state providers illegally mailing abortion drugs across state lines.” The current policy has “stripped away vital safeguards” leading to numerous health risks, such as:  An inability to verify gestational age whereby pills can be dispensed beyond the FDA's 10-week gestational limit where complications are significantly higher. An inability to effectively diagnose ectopic pregnancies that can easily be mistaken as the effects of the abortion pill, which left untreated, could lead to maternal death. An inability to verify age, leading to potential abuse of minors and violations of parental rights. An inability to detect forced or coerced abortions from abusive partners, traffickers, or family members. Beyond the potential harm to the mothers, the Abortion Kill Pill, which is now used in at least 63% of all abortions, takes the life of the innocent baby. Proverbs 24:11 says, “Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter." Send a polite, 3-sentence letter to Attorney General Todd Blanche, urging him to prohibit the abortion industry from sending the dangerous Abortion Kill Pills in the mail. Cardinal Anthony Poola, president of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India, was present at the march and delivered a powerful pro-life address. He said, “Pro-life is the most important mission to be carried out in our dioceses, congregations and institutions. If we do not act now, we may soon be left with institutions – but without people. … Do not be afraid. The Catholic Church in India stands with you to fight for the right to life of every unborn child.” Emma Magdalene of LifeSiteNews.com added, “The number one cause of death today is not COVID, cancer, or even any war. It's abortion. The World Health Organization reports that over 73 million abortions take place globally every year. As of Wednesday evening, 21 percent of traders backed the New York leftist, who was trailed by Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom at 17 percent. On rival prediction site Kalshi, the results were the same, with Ocasio-Cortez narrowly topping Newsom. Meanwhile, conventional political polls still put former Vice President Kamala Harris at the top spot, with Newsom in second, and Cortez in a distant fourth. Luigi Mangione expected to plead guilty to assassinating UnitedHealthcare CEO Luigi Mangione is expected to plead guilty today, August 14th, in his federal case tied to his alleged execution of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson — in an apparent bid to dodge a life sentence, reports the New York Post. The 28-year-old accused killer — who is set to appear at a morning hearing in Manhattan federal court — is charged in the federal case with two counts of stalking resulting in death stemming from his alleged December 2024 cold-blooded murder of the powerful executive on a Manhattan sidewalk. Mangione would still likely face a potential life sentence if he were to plead guilty in federal court, but would hope that U.S. District Judge Margaret Garnett doles out a lesser sentence. The heir of a wealthy Maryland family led authorities on a dramatic five-day manhunt before local cops in Altoona, Pennsylvania finally nabbed him while he munched on breakfast at a local McDonald's. (Look at raw bodycam footage: Scroll to the :52 mark) Prosecutors say he plotted the shocking killing to make a violent political statement, leaving behind bullet casings at the crime scene with the words “delay” and “deny” etched into them — echoing a phrase insurers allegedly use to describe dodging paying out claims. Christian weatherman's prayers on-air for safety in San Antonio And finally, San Antonio, Texas-based meteorologist Bill Taylor on KENS-5 TV, a media colleague of mine, went viral for praying live on air on July 15th for the people of the Texas Hill Country who were facing an imminent tornado on the ground. During continuous, commercial-free coverage, he said this. TAYLOR: “You look at the time of day and there are just a lot of people that would be traveling in this area, traveling to work — Saint Hedwig, China Grove, right over Highway 87, right at [Loop] 1604. A number of motorists here. “So, Lord, I pray for protection. God, your sovereignty is what we lean into in moments like this, that drivers stay aware, stay alert. That you give them wisdom. Bless these drivers with wisdom. Keep them safe. Put angels around them of protection as they travel. Thank you, Lord. We're just going to get you home safely.” Later, Taylor offered this prayer. TAYLOR: “Praying for these people in the path of this storm that Lord God, your sovereignty would be here. That You, Lord, would protect everyone in the path of this storm. That You would give wisdom and clarity for families to seek shelter. That these plans would enact now. That people would reach out to those people in this affected area to give them the warning they need. In Your holy name, protect us, Lord.” In a follow-up interview on the Christian Broadcasting Network, Bill Taylor explained what was going through his mind at the time. TAYLOR: “This could be a tornado on the ground at any second, and it was impacting a densely populated area. And knowing the sensitivity of the Hill Country flooding that took more than 100 lives a year ago, knowing how destructive a tornado can be, it just truly came out of the Holy Spirit within me to start praying in that moment for protection, for His sovereignty, for people to be clear and wise enough to seek shelter. “When we're in continuous coverage, there's no producer prompting me. There's no script in weather ever, even on a routine day. We're on our own. We're doing a PowerPoint presentation based on our slides that we put together. We're our own producers. The only time that somebody's in my ear is to tell me how much time I have left. “Well, when we have life-threatening weather, we're on till it's over. We stay on — commercial-free — until it's over. And it's on all platforms between broadcast, then our stream channel, Facebook, YouTube. “And when it happened, the Spirit of God came over me and said, ‘Pray!' Praise God that He delivered, as He always does. He's faithful, and we were protected from what could have been a lot worse.” CBN's Tré Phillips asked about what lesson Christian viewers could glean. PHILLIPS: “So, what would you say to those of us who want to be, like you were, more attuned to that still, small prompting of the Holy Spirit?” TAYLOR: “To do it. Take that step and be obedient to it, because it truly is the hands and feet, the body of Christ. You get that prompting, and when that obedience flows, this is God in action. “'Wherever two or more gather in My name, I shall be there.' These gangs control up to 90 percent of the capital of Port-au-Prince. They have killed and kidnapped religious leaders and shut down dozens of churches.  Catholic Bishop Joseph Gontrand Décoste told Aid to the Church in Need, “We are the last remaining retaining wall: moral, ethical, spiritual, and prophetic. … That is why they want to eliminate us.” Christians help victims of Columbia's earthquake Christians are bringing disaster relief to Colombia.  A 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck the South American country on Monday. The quake killed 250 people and injured thousands more.  Many Christian relief organizations are sending aid to the country, including Samaritan's Purse. Franklin Graham, the president, wrote on X, “We … are currently working to put together an airlift of relief supplies, including emergency shelter tarp and hygiene kits. Mexican Bible Society translates Scriptures into 8 local languages The Bible Society of Mexico is celebrating six decades of ministry this year. The Bible has been translated into eight indigenous languages in the country. And the demand for Bibles is growing as Protestant churches expand their presence.  Efraín Amaro is the head of distribution of the Bible society. He told Christian Daily International, “In 60 years, more than 374 million biblical materials have been distributed. We have reached 13 cities across the country with service and distribution centers.” Revelation 7:9-10 says, “After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, ‘Salvation belongs to our God Who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!'” White House Press Secretary Karolien Leavitt embraces motherhood White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, age 28, will be leaving her position to fully embrace motherhood. She and her 60-year-old husband, Nicholas Riccio, have two children together -- their son Niko, 2, and Viviana who is three months. In a Truth Social post, President Donald Trump explained that she “will be departing her role at the end of the month so she can spend more time with her beautiful young children and family, a decision I totally understand and respect!” In a statement on X, Leavitt added, “Serving as the White House Press Secretary over the past year and a half has been the honor and adventure of a lifetime. I am incredibly grateful to President Trump for granting me so many extraordinary opportunities, such as working in the West Wing and spending countless hours in the Oval Office, flying around the world and meeting foreign leaders, and traveling across our beautiful country and meeting Americans from all walks of life. “The truth is, since returning to the White House after the birth of my daughter, I have felt in my heart that I cannot be the best mom my two young children deserve while devoting the constant time, energy, and attention required of the White House Press Secretary. And that is why I have ultimately made the bittersweet decision to depart the White House.” Titus 2:4-5 says, “Train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.” Democrat socialist barely defeated in Wisconsin Socialist Democrats suffered a setback in Wisconsin on Tuesday. Moderate David Crowley barely defeated socialist Francesca Hong in the Democrat primary election for governor. According to NBC, the vote was 39.8% vs 39.3%. Just 3,796 votes separated the two in the statewide race. Leftist candidates had been winning many Democrat primaries this year. Despite being considered a moderate, Crowley believes that killing unborn babies is “healthcare” and must be “protected at all costs.” He made this comment in his victory speech. CROWLEY: “Every one of us has something much bigger to unite around. And that is keeping [Make America Great Again] extremism from bringing the chaos we see in Washington into our neighborhoods right here in the state of Wisconsin. From the very first day that I announced this campaign, I said the real threat wasn't any of my primary opponents. The real opponent has always been Tom Tiffany. That remains true today.” Tiffany, the Republican nominee for Wisconsin governor, is currently a member of Congress. The Washington Examiner reports that new Democratic-affiliated polling shows Crowley beating Tiffany by three points this fall, though the race is within the margin of error. Crowley leads Tiffany 47% to 44%, according to the poll by Protect Our Wisconsin, a group backed by the Democratic Governors Association.  Federal gov't gave mega money to religious migrant resettlement groups The federal government funded major religious groups with hundreds of millions of dollars in migrant resettlement grants. The data comes from Brian Chau, the founder of Efforts News. Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk brought attention to this research in a post on X this week. In one case, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops received over $180 million dollars in migrant resettlement grants in 2024. That was over 80 percent of the group's revenue at the time. The contracts ended last year after the Trump administration cut funding to such programs.  Women hold more jobs than men in America Women now hold more jobs than men in the U.S economy.  A report from Indeed's Hiring Lab found the number of jobs held by men declined by 142,000 between February 2025 and February 2026. Over the same period, the number of jobs held by women grew by 298,000.   The report noted, “More jobs are held by women than men in the non-farm economy, not because of a recession, but because of years of eroding male labor force participation.” Americans become skeptical of capitalism Americans are becoming less positive toward capitalism. A new Gallup survey found 54 percent of U.S. adults said they have a positive image of capitalism. That's down from 61 percent in 2010. Thirty-nine percent said they have a positive image of socialism. That's up from 36 percent in 2010. The drop in positivity toward capitalism has accelerated since 2021. Americans trust small, local businesses and churches And finally, Americans tend to trust small, local institutions, according to research from the Barna Group.  U.S. adults put some of their highest trust in local businesses, individual Christians, and small churches. They put moderate trust in Christian pastors, Christian non-profits, and Christian businesses. However, his GoSkippy Insurance broker said he must remove the stickers to retain coverage. The Christian Legal Centre is now supporting him in his ordeal. European household pets outnumber children Evangelical Focus reports that household pets outnumber children in Europe.  As of 2024, 49 percent of European households owned a pet. Of the 306 million pets in Europe, most were cats followed by dogs and ornamental birds.  By comparison, there are 1.4 million children under the age of 15 in Europe. That means the continent has an average 0.4 children for every pet. In fact, pet dogs now outnumber children in 15 European countries.   Massachusetts legalized killing babies on their birthdays Here in the United States, Massachusetts legalized the killing of unborn babies up to the point of birth on August 10th. Democrat Governor Maura Healey, a lesbian who is faux married to a woman and identifies as a Catholic, signed the abortion bill into law on Monday. The measure allows late-term abortions for any reason. Listen to how Governor Healy asserts that killing a baby is “healthcare” at her press conference. HEALY: “I promise that no matter what Donald Trump or Republicans in Congress, or the Supreme Court does, we're going to continue to make sure that women and families have access to the healthcare that they need right here in Massachusetts. “We know that protecting abortion access and reproductive healthcare has been under fire. We saw it when the Supreme Court overturned Roe in the Dobbs decision back in 2022, the first time a court has ever taken away a right that was given. “We've seen it as Donald Trump and Republicans in Congress continue to pass anti-abortion legislation, including extreme abortion bans. Today, one in three women in America live in a state with an abortion ban. “President Trump's new attorney general, Todd Blanche, over the weekend, said that overturning Roe v. Wade should be made ‘permanent' in every state. That's what we're up against.” Massachusetts is now the 11th state, plus the District of Columbia, to allow abortions up to birth. (Massachusetts joins Alaska, Colorado, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon and Vermont, according to FoxNews.com). Isaiah 59:7 says, “Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood; their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.” ​Trump recommends fewer child vaccines & greater parental authority On August 10th, President Donald Trump signed an executive order on childhood vaccines, recommending fewer ones and that they be spread out over time instead of injecting multiple vaccines in one sitting. MILLER: “Because of your courage and leadership, Mr. President, millions of parents all over America today are breathing an enormous sigh of relief. I say this as the parent of young children myself. “Millions and millions of parents feel they've been pressured when their children are just weeks out of the hospital to take five shots, six shots, seven shots -- all at once. They're told it'll be normal. Your kid will have a fever of 103 [degrees] for three or four days. Your kid will stop eating for a week. Your kid's going to change all their sleeping. Don't worry; it's totally fine. It's totally normal. Nobody has studied it. Nobody's looked at it. Nobody's thought about it. “The pressure from the pharmaceutical industry and from aspects of the medical industry to pump your kids full of shots days after birth, with no understanding of the long-term consequences, has been a medical travesty.” In addition, the order recommends 11 immunizations for children, down from 18. The order also calls on states to protect parental authority and religious freedom in vaccine decisions.   Specifically, President Trump said in the order, “It is the policy of my administration that federal programs and funding should support maximal parental choice over childhood vaccines.” America's oil reserves dropped to half capacity America's oil reserves have fallen to the lowest level in over 40 years. The U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve dropped below 300 million barrels last week. That's less than half of its total capacity and the lowest level since 1983.  In March, President Donald Trump authorized the release of up to 172 million barrels from the reserve in response to the war with Iran.  Churchgoers who attend Bible studies have highest discipleship scores And finally, Lifeway Research reports churchgoers who attend Bible studies have the highest discipleship scores. The discipleship scores highlight characteristics consistently present in the lives of believers who are progressing in their spiritual maturity. The House of Representatives has voted to make daylight saving time permanent in the United States. If the measure is approved by the Senate and becomes law, most Americans would no longer spring forward in March or fall back in November.For more than a century, changing the clocks has been used to make better use of daylight, but the practice has long divided opinion. Supporters argue it boosts productivity and removes the disruption of changing the clocks twice a year. Critics warn that permanent daylight saving time could affect health and road safety as people face darker winter mornings.Around the world, governments have taken different approaches. Some have scrapped seasonal clock changes altogether, while others continue to observe them. This time, comes this shocking story, where the state euthanized Brigitte Stegemann, an 83-year-old Christian grandmother, against her will and the will of her family. On the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition blog, her granddaughter said,  “One of our greatest ethical concerns is that GG had explicitly declined [Medical Assistance in Dying], stating it violated her Christian faith. Once a vulnerable patient explicitly declines this path, the facility should never have targeted her for re-evaluation behind closed doors while her primary advocate was away.” More than 5% of all deaths in Canada are attributed to Medical Assistance in Dying. It is the fifth leading cause of death there. Psalm 94:4 and 6 cries out: “How long shall they utter and speak hard things and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves? … They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.” Severe drought in Europe and blazing hot July in America God has brought a severe drought on Europe. Since 1836, the month of July was the driest for England and Wales in recorded history, reports Reuters. Similarly, the United States experienced the hottest July since 1895.  Also, March 2026 was the hottest March ever — 9.4° above the 20th-century average. Ukraine drone attack killed 13 Russians, injured 75 Ukraine's drone attack on Russia's oil hub killed 13 citizens and wounded another 75 over the weekend, reports PBS.  Russia says they shut down 450 drones. In addition, Russia killed 21 people in Kyiv in this ongoing drone-based tit-for-tat warfare. The changing military alliances overseas Internationally, nations are lining up in allied positions. Just last week, Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia signed a pact, in which all three nations agreed that an attack on any of the three nations would be taken as an attack on all. Pakistan's relationship with China has also warmed up considerably.   China supplies Pakistan's military weaponry and Pakistan strongly supports Beijing on Taiwan, Xinjiang, Tibet, Hong Kong, and the South China Sea. If we include China's growing relationship with Russia, this axis of powers now holds 6,100 nuclear warheads in total, almost exactly the same number held by the allied powers of the United States, the United Kingdom, France, India, and Israel.  Keep in mind: God is over all the armies of the Earth. Isaiah 13:4–5 states that “The LORD of hosts musters the army for battle. They come from a far country, from the end of Heaven, the LORD and His weapons of indignation, to destroy the whole land.” Columbia hit by major earthquake Another devastating earthquake hit Colombia yesterday morning, killing 111 people, reports the Associated Press. It was 7.4 on the Richter scale. This follows another 7.5 earthquake in Venezuela a few weeks ago, that killed 5,000 people. Colombia produces 80% of the world's cocaine.  However, Friday marked the first day in office for Colombia's new president —  Abelardo de la Espriella. He is an admirer of President Donald Trump and had promised an "all-out war" on the drug cartels. South America has swung to the right over the last few years. Now eight countries are led by presidents who would align more with President Donald Trump. Only three South American nations are led by presidents that bend towards the left including Brazil, Bolivia and Venezuela. Two-thirds of Americans support the death penalty Pew Research has found that Americans favor the use of the death penalty for murder convictions, in line with Genesis 9:6.   A full two-thirds of Americans say they favor the death penalty, and only 32% oppose it.  The numbers have remained about the same for the last seven years. Yet, in the first half of 2026, capital juries chose not to execute the murderer at least 19 times, more often than to execute. Murders in America average 15,000 per year, yet on average, only 23 murderers are put to death.  That's one-tenth of one percent!  And this year, only 19 murderers have received the death penalty.  Genesis 9:6 says, “Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in His own image.” Network for Hope shut down for its immoral organ donor system The Department of Health and Human Services has decertified Network for Hope, an organ transplant organization that was exposed for unsafe and immoral practices. Heidi Klessig of Life Site News explained, “Removing Network for Hope's certification was absolutely necessary, but will not address the most pressing problem underlying our current organ donation system: organ donors must be biologically alive in order to donate viable organs.” Attorney General Todd Blanche eager to end mail-order abortions And finally, newly appointed Attorney General Todd Blanche has pledged to work towards solidifying pro-life gains across the country, as well as to end mail-order abortions. Not surprisingly, all Democrats voted against Blanche's nomination.   According to Americans United for Life, “Through his statements and actions as Acting Attorney General, Mr. Blanche has shown himself to be a sincere advocate for human life and a faithful servant of President Trump's pro-life agenda.”  And Blanche himself has stated, “If states have said, ‘We are going to protect the unborn and we're going to protect every life from the moment of conception,' we're putting practices and policies in place so that other states and other organizations can't attack that. Print story United States exits United Nations Livestock group The United States government is pulling out of the United Nations' Global Plan of Action for Sustainable Livestock Transformation, The New American reported.  The decision, announced by the Officer for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Paul Welcher, comes because the declaration promotes climate change, so-called equality, and other radical policies.  Per Politico, “The plan, which is completely voluntary, was finally adopted by delegates on Friday [July 17]. It advises countries to address issues such as biodiversity, animal welfare, emissions and how to prevent the spread of disease.”

(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Sudanese armed executed pastor and 6 others extrajudicially A pastor in Sudan's Nuba Mountains was executed extrajudicially, along with six other people, after members of an armed faction arrested him at his church residence in the town of Heban, reports The Christian Post. The Rev. Adil Jangoul, of the Sudanese Episcopal Church, was detained on July 23 inside the church compound in Heban's Erie neighborhood, where he lived, reports Christian Solidarity Worldwide. Members of the Sudanese People's Liberation Movement-North, an armed group in the region, seized his money and arrested him without incident. However, his body was later found on a road alongside those of six other people, all from the Otoro ethnic group, most of whom are Christian. All seven had been killed in extrajudicial executions. Christian Solidarity Worldwide President Mervyn Thomas said he was deeply troubled by the rising bloodshed, some of it apparently ethnically motivated. He called the killings especially perplexing because the Nuba Mountains had long been a place of peaceful co-existence, even through Sudan's dictatorship and the civil war. James 4:17 says, “So whoever knows the right thing to do, and fails to do it, for him it is sin.” Senate Confirms Todd Blanche as Attorney General President Donald Trump's nominee for attorney general, Todd Blanche, was confirmed in a late night vote in the Senate after a handful of fellow Republicans reconsidered their opposition, reports The Epoch Times. Blanche was confirmed in a 50–49 vote in the early hours of August 8th, with Republican Senators Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska voting in opposition. The deciding vote was cast by GOP Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, who announced on Friday that he believed Blanche was the best option that Trump would put forward. GOP Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky did not vote because he is still recuperating from an illness. Fauci subpoenaed by 3 GOP AGs for profiting from COVID guidance Following two disastrous U.S. Senate hearings in as many weeks and publication of his personal diary, Dr. Anthony Fauci has now been subpoenaed by three Republican state attorneys general seeking to determine whether he personally profited from guidance he issued during the COVID-19 pandemic, reports LifeSiteNews.com. While President Joe Biden gave the COVID kahuna a blanket pardon stretching from 2014 to the final day of his presidency, that pardon protects Fauci only from federal prosecution, leaving him exposed to potential legal actions from the states.  Last Wednesday, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced that his state has teamed up with West Virginia and Louisiana to investigate “awards, professional opportunities, financial incentives, grants, and COVID-19 guidance that impacted Florida businesses and consumers.” Uthmeier said that Fauci's diaries “detail substantial awards” connected to the Sunshine State, including a $900,000 Dan David Foundation prize. The Florida Attorney General also cited other troubling ways Fauci may have personally profited from his handling of COVID, such as “offers of named professorships and book deals, board positions, private foundation partnerships, and other professional and financial opportunities concurrent with his federal role and public recommendations impacting Florida.”  The once self-proclaimed “most famous scientist in the world” who obtained secular sainthood status during the pandemic has faced a sudden reversal of fortune this summer. In the words of Victor Davis Hanson, “The Fauci files reveal not just a sociopathic narcissist but also a pathological schizophrenic.” And Fox News host Laura Ingraham alleged that during his time as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases from 1984 to 2022, Fauci was “a liar, a megalomaniac, a phony, and a total narcissist all rolled into one.” Senator Fetterman takes issue with anti-Israel Democratic Michigan Senate candidate Appearing on CNN, Democratic Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania, one of the few Democrats who supports Israel, took issue with Abdul El-Sayed, the newly selected Muslim Democratic nominee to the U.S. Senate from Michigan. Listen. FETTERMAN: “I can't come together with someone if you are willing to embrace people that that loves Hamas or that thinks America deserved 9/11. I think that's reasonable. I think that's the reasonable view. That's not a big tent situation. There are things that are unacceptable to have these views as a Democrat, I think.” Inspiring CEO gives company to charity after working 58 years And finally, Grady-White Boats market their 18 to 45-foot-long vessels as the “finest boats ever crafted” which is quite the statement. For 58 years, Eddie Smith Jr., Grady-White's ex-CEO, worked 80-100 hour workweeks to salvage the near-bankrupt boat builder and turn it into a 9-figure revenue generator that will now power philanthropy in perpetuity, reports GoodNewsNetwork.org. That's because Smith turned down multiple offers around half a billion dollars in order to pass controlling stakes in Grady-White Boats to a “purpose trust” that will operate it according to his values and convert its bottom line into community service, conservation, and other philanthropic causes. Profiled by Fortune Magazine, Smith said he was inspired by entrepreneurs like Yvon Chouinard, the founder of Patagonia, who also turned the brand into a financial engine for conservation. He said, “I just think that those of us that are fortunate enough to be in a position to help others…It's really a gift to me to be able to do what I do.” Born to a father who was orphaned at age 10 during the Great Depression, Smith Jr. grew up near the poverty line. The first break was when his father worked enough odd jobs to start a mail order business. The son, who remembers eating SPAM 3 times a week, then lied about his age to get a job on a paper route, before becoming the first in his family to graduate from college at the University of North Carolina in 1965. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Tanzanian Christians worried about Muslim threats In several Muslim-majority communities along Tanzania's coast in eastern Africa along the Indian Ocean, small Christian churches continue to worship under growing pressure, with pastors and congregations describing intimidation, disruption, and insecurity, reports International Christian Concern. For many believers in Zanzibar and parts of coastal Tanzania, where 99 percent of the population is Muslim, church leaders say some congregations have experienced threats, harassment, and occasional attacks.  One pastor said, “When a church is threatened, it is not only a building that is affected. People begin to fear even the simple act of coming together to pray. Mothers worry about bringing their children, and some believers spend the entire service looking over their shoulders instead of worshipping freely.” Please pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ in Tanzania. Trump, Hegseth clashed over missile depletion concerns President Donald Trump's frustration over the Iran war boiled over at Camp David last week, where he demanded answers from War Secretary Pete Hegseth on why he had apparently been misled on extreme munitions shortages that now threaten to limit military options with Iran, reports The Washington Post. President Trump vented at Hegseth that he thought the munitions issue “had been fixed.”  The shortages, particularly in long-range guided missiles and air-defense interceptors, have been part of the reason President Trump has pulled back from launching additional massive strikes against Iran in recent days. Senate Republicans hold Dr. Fauci in contempt of Congress Senate Republicans on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee voted to hold Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, in contempt of Congress after he declined to answer lawmakers' questions during a fiery hearing last week, reports NBC News. Fauci, who has been a target of the right since he served as a top health official during the Covid pandemic, invoked the Fifth Amendment 111 times during the hearing, explaining in his opening remarks that he believed Republicans would try to use his testimony to prosecute him. However, Fauci had been given a full and unconditional pardon by President Joe Biden before he left office on January 19, 2025. In an 8-5 party-line vote, Republicans on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee held Fauci in contempt. Republican Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky, the committee chair, said, “We are voting on whether a witness who has received the benefit of a sweeping federal pardon can be ordered by this committee to answer questions and then defy that order without consequence.” He added, “I ordered him to answer and warned him about contempt, yet he still refused. That is obstruction of a congressional investigation.” The committee can refer the contempt of Congress resolution directly to the Justice Department or request that Senate Majority Leader John Thune of South Dakota hold a full Senate vote. Senator Paul said the committee would hand-deliver the referral to the Justice Department. Contempt of Congress is a criminal misdemeanor offense punishable by up to a $100,000 fine and one year in jail. Proverbs 18:12 says, “Before a downfall, the heart is haughty …” In an impromptu press conference, Senator Paul insisted that Dr. Fauci be held accountable for the COVID-19 pandemic. PAUL: “A million Americans died, and I think they deserve to know the truth. Anthony Fauci has advocated for dangerous gain-of-function research for two decades now. The question ‘why' is not a question that he can have liability for. “He was given a pardon. Interestingly, the pardon starts in 2014. That's when the funding of the lab in Wuhan, [China] started. So, I think he should answer questions. As far as pleading the Fifth [Amendment] when you have a pardon, all you have to do is tell the truth, just not commit a new crime. So, I think the American people do deserve to know this. “This is the same Anthony Fauci who said, in a Washington Post op-ed in 2011, even if a pandemic should start from a lab, if someone's bitten in a lab or the virus escapes the lab, that the knowledge would be worth the risks. I don't think many Americans believe that! “This deserves to be thoroughly, exhaustively debated, so we don't do this again.” Christian congressman: Dr. Fauci under divine judgment Appearing with Fox News Host Brian Kilmeade on July 27th, Republican Congressman Tim Burchett of Tennessee talked about the recent revelations from Dr. Anthony Fauci's pandemic-era diary entries which showed a fixation on his own "explosive" fame, reports The Christian Post. KILMEADE: “Congressman, we saw this, but now we can read this. What changes about how this guy is perceived once and for all?” BURCHETT: “I think his arrogance shows. The Bible talks about professing themselves to be wise; they became fools. We closed down mom-and-pop operations. Jewish and Christian fellowships were shut down. The big boys were allowed to stay open. This thing was a disaster from the start, and we celebrated this guy, [meaning Fauci].” The phrase from Romans 1:22-28, which is part of the Apostle Paul's larger indictment against the pagan world, describes the corruption and prideful self-delusion that afflicts the minds of those who reject God. The refusal to worship God leads to a litany of self-destructive sins that ends with God abandoning individuals and societies "to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.” Southwest Airlines blocks ICE from detaining illegal aliens on 6 flights Firm in the belief that immigration enforcement is bad for business, Southwest Airlines is pushing back hard against efforts to detain illegal immigrants at U.S. airports, reports The Western Journal. A report from the Wall Street Journal highlights a July 25 incident in which an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent tried to board a Southwest Airlines jet in Dallas. The agent was prevented from carrying out his duties by Southwest Airlines. The Dallas-based airline staff also refused to share passenger information with ICE. In recent weeks, a half-dozen other incidents involving Southwest have taken place. The incidents occur as ICE has been broadening their efforts to arrest illegal aliens at airports. Planned Parenthood sues Trump over denial of Title X funding And finally, Planned Parenthood is suing the Trump administration to challenge updated Title X funding guidelines issued earlier this year that could render the abortion giant ineligible for so-called “family planning” grants, reports LifeSiteNews.com. In April, the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services issued updated guidelines for Title X applications, which drop contraception promotion in favor of “natural family planning methods,” tout an objective to “strengthen family formation and assist clients in achieving healthy pregnancies,” and require applicants to reject abortion as a method of family planning. The new standards threaten to disqualify longtime Title X recipients such as Planned Parenthood. As a result, the nation's largest abortion chain announced on July 29 that it is suing the Trump administration over them. Authorities there have shut down nearly all Evangelical churches over the past decade. Many Christians now meet secretly in homes.  One Algerian pastor told Morning Star News, “The situation is undeniably difficult because we are deprived of fellowship. But God's work must not stop. We desperately lack Bibles and Christian books, as customs officials systematically confiscate them even when friends bring them from the West.” Algeria is ranked 20th on the Open Doors' World Watch List of the worst countries for the persecution of Christians.  British soldiers are asking about Christ Faith is increasing in the British military.  Army chaplains report more recruits are asking about Christianity, attending services, and requesting baptism. Dr. Martin Gliniecki is the executive director of the Soldiers' and Aviators' Scripture Readers Association. He told Christian Today, “We have prayed for revival in our nation for many years now and … revival in our Armed Forces too. Something is happening. While our Armed Forces are the smallest in modern history, the harvest remains plentiful.” In Luke 10:2, Jesus said, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” British millionaire stands up for persecuted street preachers A British millionaire is standing up for persecuted street preachers. Businessman Samuel Leeds has pledged to fund the legal representation of Christian street preachers who are targeted by police.  He told Truth Times, “We see Christians being persecuted all over the world, but seeing it happen in Great Britain — seeing the disdain, the hatred, and now the oppression of Christian voices — really bothers me. … Where Christians are being unfairly targeted simply for preaching their faith, I'm prepared to put my money behind defending them.” Amen! Democrat primary voters elect another leftist The left wing of the Democratic Party continues to win election primaries. Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, whose parents came to America from Egypt, won the Democrat primary for U.S. Senate in Michigan on Tuesday.  The 41-year-old is an epidemiologist who received his Doctor of Medicine from Columbia University, served as director of the Department of Health, Human, and Veterans Services of Wayne County, Michigan, from 2023 to 2025, and was a candidate in the 2018 Michigan gubernatorial election. EL-SAYED: “What a race! You know, in the words of Muhammad Ali, we shook up the world!” Endorsed by socialist Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont, among other leftists, he narrowly defeated Congresswoman Haley Stevens, a pro-Israel moderate Democrat. Remarkably, super PACs, political action committees, spent $60 million on the race, supporting Stevens 9-1. El-Sayed champions the abolition of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement known as ICE, ending most U.S. military aid to Israel, and wants a universal, government-funded health insurance program that covers everyone. EL-SAYED: “So, whether you voted for me or voted for my opponent or didn't vote at all, we're inviting you to that movement to get money out of politics, so we can put money back in pockets, and finally guarantee the promise of health care through Medicare for All.” If elected in November, Abdul El-Sayed would be the first Muslim in the Senate.  Democrats are moving left The views of Democrats are shifting further to the left. A new Reuters/Ipsos poll found 71 percent of Democrats label themselves as liberal. That's up from 55 percent in 2012.  Most liberal Democrats identify certain positions as essential to being a liberal. These include increasing taxes on corporations and billionaires, expanding access to abortion, and government provided healthcare coverage.  In Romans 13:4, the Apostle Paul identified different priorities for government: “For [a ruler] is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.” Amazon hits $3 trillion in market value Amazon became the fifth company to reach $3 trillion dollars in market value on Monday.  The tech company saw growth in its cloud-computing services as demand for Artificial Intelligence surges. Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet, and Nvidia are the other companies that have reached a market value of $3 trillion dollars in the past.  Doctors successfully operated on baby in the womb And finally, doctors successfully operated on a baby while still in the womb. Baby Theo was diagnosed with a severe intestinal defect in the womb. Indeed, his intestines were completely outside his body.  Such cases can require many surgeries after birth, and babies do not always survive. Parents Maisie Savage and Josh French live in London. They were referred to a clinical trial at Texas Children's Hospital.  At 26 weeks of pregnancy, surgeons conducted the groundbreaking operation. It's the first surgery of its kind in the U.S.  Praise God! Baby Theo was born full-term in February. Josh recently told Good Morning America that Theo is thriving.   Listen. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and me Muslims killed 20 Christians in Congo Islamic militants killed over 20 people in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo last month. The Muslims killed a church elder and a worship leader in the village of Mangina. A local pastor told Open Doors, “Fear is increasing. Brothers and sisters, please intercede for the safety of the rural commune of Mangina and for the strengthening of the faith of Christians.” Such attacks are common in the country as Islamic extremists try to eradicate the presence of Christians.  According to Open Doors, Congo, Africa is the 29th worst country worldwide for the persecution of Christians. 70,000 Muslim migrants stormed Ceuta, Spain Over 70,000 migrants stormed the Spanish North African enclave city of Ceuta. Most were young men from the Muslim-majority country of Morocco.  The Spanish city of Ceuta borders Morocco and is home to just over 80,000 people. Spain deployed its military in response to the surge of migrants, sending most of them back as of yesterday.  Dozens reportedly died in the crossing. A local pastor told Evangelical Focus, “Pray for our city, for the authorities, and for all the staff working on the front line. … We hope that the Lord will allow us to be a beacon of hope and support for our city.” In Matthew 5:16, Jesus said, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven.” Todd Blanche nomination for Attorney General heads to Senate floor On August 3rd, the Senate Judiciary Committee advanced the nomination of Todd Blanche as U.S. Attorney General after he struck a deal with two GOP holdouts, reports The Epoch Times. Republican Senators Thom Tillis of North Carolina and John Cornyn of Texas had opposed Blanche because of concerns over a settlement that the Department of Justice negotiated with President Donald Trump in his suit against the IRS. On August 2, Blanche said that he formally terminated a nearly $1.8 billion fund that would have given payments to victims of government weaponization. Tillis and Cornyn subsequently issued a statement on August 3 pledging their support. The Senate Committee voted 12–10, along party lines, to advance Blanche's nomination. It now heads to the Senate floor for a final confirmation vote, where he can afford to lose only two Republican votes, assuming all Democrats will be opposed and GOP Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky will be absent due to illness. Contact your two U.S. Senators by email and phone -- whatever their party affiliation might be -- and urge them to vote for Todd Blanche as U.S. Attorney General.  Do not assume that every Republican Senator will vote for him. And do not assume that every Democrat Senator will vote against him. Just speak your mind and leave the results ion God's hands. Georgia must reinstate Christian education program In the United States, a district court ruled that a Georgia school district must reinstate a Christian education program. Sweet Onion Christian Learning Center provided free, off-campus religious instruction for students at Vidalia High School. However, school officials canceled the program after its leader criticized a proposed tax increase on his Facebook page.  With the help of Alliance Defending Freedom, the learning center challenged this in court and won.  Planned Parenthood has closed 57 abortion mills since 2025 Planned Parenthood is closing three of its facilities in Michigan. The abortion giant is facing $5.6 million in losses in the state.   The One Big Beautiful Bill Act temporarily defunded Planned Parenthood last year. The funding pause expired last month. However, it did cause many locations to shut down.    The American Life League reports that Planned Parenthood has closed 57 locations since January 2025. U.S. economic growth slowed in second quarter U.S. economic growth slowed during the second quarter of this year. The Gross Domestic Product increased at an annual rate of 1.5 percent. That's down from 2.1 percent during the first quarter. The slower growth was due in part to a decrease in government spending.  In-N-Out Burger President urges those in Idaho to turn to God The owner of In-N-Out Burger spoke out after a tragic shooting at one of the company's locations.  The shooting happened at a newly opened In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho on Saturday. Three people died, including an In-N-Out associate.  Lynsi Snyder is the owner and president of In-N-Out Burger. She wrote, “In-N-Out will be mourning with the families and praying for them as they tread through a very painful season. I am no stranger to loss, but this is so incredibly tough, and my heart also goes out to all of the Associates and Customers who were there during this traumatic event. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson, Timothy Reed and Adam McManus Amnesty Int'l apologized for smearing Christians and pro-lifers Some good news on the Christian persecution front today.   Amnesty International has officially apologized for publishing a report that accused 117 Christian and pro-life groups in the UK as “anti-rights.”   In the apology, Amnesty admitted the report “should never have been published” and fell “significantly short” of its standards for research. The report had attacked the Evangelical Alliance, Christian Concern, the Catholic Bishops' Conference of England and Wales, The Christian Institute, The Society for the Protection of Unborn Children, and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association UK as well as crisis pregnancy centers. Oil is slowing through Strait of Hormuz and the Bab-al-Mandab strait Transporting oil and other goods out of the Middle East has become a real problem. Now the problem has reached its highest crisis point since the wars in the region fired up in the spring.  BBC reports the situation is far worse now, with Iranian pressure at the Strait of Hormuz, and Yemen Houthi pressure put on the Bab-al-Mandab Strait into the Red Sea. Only 10-15 ships a day pass through the Strait of Hormuz. That's about one-eighth the normal shipping flow. And the Bab-Al-Mandab Strait is only getting about 25-30 ships a day. That's about half the normal flow.  Saudi Arabia and Iran's economies both took a hit Saudi Arabia's economy took a 4.8% hit in the 2nd Quarter of this year. Iran is looking at a 5.4% decline for the year, according to International Monetary Fund numbers. Iran is also dealing with 68% inflation this year. Drought and fires impacting Europe God's hand has fallen hard on Western Europe. The United Kingdom experienced its driest July in nearly 200 years. Much of the nation is in drought. France recently battled its largest recorded wildfire, following months of drought and extreme heat. Parts of the Danube River have dropped to the lowest levels in 30 years. Italy's River Po has also registered a historic low. And Germany's Rhine River is at its lowest level since 2018. And fires in Spain and France took down over a million acres, resulting in the destruction of about 300 structures. Syrians & Haitians, here temporarily, were supposed to self deport Monday Here in the United States, 356,000 U.S. immigrants on Temporary Protected Status were ordered to leave by August 3rd. Presently this affects Syrians and Haitians, but may eventually impact another 1,000,000 immigrants from other countries.   This comes after a U.S. Supreme Court ruling issued last month backed the Trump administration's policy to end Temporary Protected Status. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security website is encouraging self-deportation, offering free travel, and a $2,600 bonus to get them out. New York is pushing assisted suicide and the nuns are pushing back The state of New York is pushing medically-assisted suicide, and a group of Catholic nuns are protesting. The Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm and the Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne have been granted a reprieve by a federal district court. They will not have to counsel terminally ill patients or assist them with medically assisted suicide, at least for now, according to the Beckett Fund for Religious Liberty. Christian physician assistant vindicated for opposing transgender insanity A Christian physician's assistant won her court case in Michigan.  Valerie Kloosterman, a University of Michigan Health-West health worker, was fired five years ago, because of her stance against transgenderism and her affirmation of biblical principles. The health system agreed to pay $410,000 to Kloosterman and her attorneys, while also pledging to “create a religious accommodation policy in accordance with the law, notify and train all its employees, [and] grant reasonable religious accommodations without retaliation.”   Armed citizens stopped mass murderer at Idaho In-N-Out  Burgers Two armed citizens stopped a mass murderer at an In-N-Out Burger restaurant in Twin Falls, Idaho over the weekend. Police Chief Matthew Hicks recognized the two heroes for their courageous actions taken when they returned fire on the assailant. HICKS: “We can confirm that there was an off-duty state trooper and a citizen who actively engaged the suspect by returning gunfire towards him. We want to take a moment and commend the actions of the off-duty officer and the citizen and their heroic action to stop this incident. We believe their actions helped drive the suspect away from the scene, preventing further casualties.” Three died and seven more were wounded in the rampage. The suspect, who used an AR-style rifle, now identified as Chad Williams, died as a result of self-inflicted gunshot wounds. The New York Post reported that Terry Dudley, a taxi driver in Twin Falls, was among those hit by bullets, according to a GoFundMe account to raise money for his medical expenses.  Dudley, a widower and father-of-four, was shot twice in the back as he charged his Tesla. Massachusetts considers birthday abortions without exceptions The state of Massachusetts is on the verge of allowing abortions up until birth without any exceptions.  Dr. Christina Francis with the American Association of Pro-Life Obstetricians and Gynecologists, commented on the measure. She said, “It is never medically necessary to purposely end the life of a pre-born child in order to save her mother. Under certain circumstances where a pregnancy complication threatens a mother's life, a physician must separate mom from baby, sometimes when the baby is too young to survive outside the womb.”  Both houses have approved the bill — now awaiting the governor's signature. Maura Healey is Massachusetts's first lesbian governor.   Call Governor Healy at (617) 725-4005 or (413) 784-1200 and urge her not to sign this law that allows abortionists to kill babies on their birthdays. Americans elected three homosexual governors Americans have elected three homosexual governors: Massachusetts Governor Maura Healy, Oregon Governor Tina Kotek, and Colorado Governor Jared Polis. The Wisdom book of Proverbs reminds us that “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan.” (Proverbs 29:2.) Support for homosexual faux marriage is collapsing Support for homosexual faux marriage is collapsing in the states. The latest YouGov Economist poll finds only 54% of Americans now in favor of legalizing the practice, while 32% oppose. The percentage of those who approved of the legalization of homosexual faux marriage peaked in the United States about three years ago at 70%. Washington state fires burned 6,000 acres Those fires in Washington state have burned down about 6,000 acres, including 700 structures. Over 60,000 people have been evacuated from the Spokane area. Christian singer booted from Alaska Airlines flight over “preaching” Christian singer Whitney Lynn's website describes her as an internationally-recognized evangelist, singer, songwriter, and deliverance minister with millions of Instagram views. Last week, before an Alaska Airlines flight took off because of some delay, Whitney stood up and boldly shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a relevant and pithy manner to the captive audience on the plane. Listen to what she said as she filmed herself. LYNN: “Hello, everybody. Good morning. I know we're all waiting. It's kind of frustrating, right? This wait? But I want to tell you that God's timing is perfect, and God knows everything. Maybe He's sparing us from danger today. “So, I want you to rest and know that Jesus Christ loves you so much that He died on the cross for your sins. He rose again in three days. He's alive and He's the one true God. But the wages of our sin is death. Hell forever. “Apart from Jesus, we won't make it to Heaven. But He loves you so much. Make him Lord. Repent of your sins. He is coming back very soon. I pray protection over this flight, in the name of Jesus. Amen.” Oddly enough, the airline staff said they felt “unsafe” and proceeded to escort her off the plane. As she was making her way down the aisle to get off the plane, Whitney dialogued with a male Alaska Airlines flight attendant on video. FLIGHT ATTENDANT: “The crews don't feel safe with you.” LYNN: “They don't feel safe? FLIGHT ATTENDANT: “Yeah.” LYNN: “Oh my gosh! I didn't know the message of Jesus Christ was unsafe. Wow! Do I have any guns or anything like that? No, I don't. “So, freedom of speech is not safe. I tell you what this is. It's called spiritual warfare. Is it a crime? Is it against the law? Can you tell me that? I'm just asking you a question. FLIGHT ATTENDANT: “I'm not going to answer any more questions.” LYNN: “I'm getting my stuff as I'm talking. So, can you answer the question? Is it against the law? To preach the gospel? FLIGHT ATTENDANT:  “I don't need to answer any questions.” LYNN:  “You can. You sure can. Last days. People can't talk about Jesus anymore. That's how you know there's power in that name. Makes people feel unsafe. That's sad, very sad. “Well, God bless everybody. If you know Jesus today, make Him Lord of your life and continue to spread the Gospel. Persecuted to be a Christian, it's coming. For Netanyahu, it was his first time back at the White House since hostilities commenced with Iran in late February. The meeting also comes as domestic support for Israel continues to slip, while the Iran war is driving up oil prices before the midterms. In his meeting with Zelensky, President Trump discussed ongoing support for the Ukrainian war effort against Russia. Zelensky stated, “We also spoke about diplomacy. It's important that the diplomatic process be reinvigorated. Our teams will arrange the details of their further communication. I am grateful to the United States for its firm support.”

They publicly pleaded with the Nigerian government to protect these vulnerable villages before it was too late. Tragically, their warnings were ignored. In the three weeks since, more than 250 Christians have been murdered in the very communities they identified. The latest massacre took place on Saturday, August 1st in Naridon village in Southern Kaduna, where more than 30 Christians were slaughtered as terrorists attacked for hours. Once again, innocent families paid the price while help never came. You're getting rich!” As The Worldview reported last Friday, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee questioned Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, about his culpability in a cover-up about the source of the COVID-19 virus and what happened subsequently.  Shockingly, Dr. Fauci invoked the Fifth Amendment 111 times, reported FoxNews. Republican Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri got righteously angry. HAWLEY: “Well, nothing says honesty like taking the Fifth, huh Doc? Let's try something. What day of the week is it today?” FAUCI: “On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer based upon my rights under the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution.” HAWLEY: “What color tie are you wearing?” FAUCI: “On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer based upon my rights under the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution.” HAWLEY:  “Let's just get one thing straight. You don't have any rights under the Fifth Amendment because you've been pardoned, as you very well know, as the Supreme Court has been clear for a century and more. Brown vs Walker, 1896: ‘When he has been pardoned, he may not stand upon his privilege.' “You know that. Your lawyers sitting behind you, now shifting nervously in their chairs, they know it. This isn't about the Constitution. This isn't about the law. This is about contempt -- contempt for this body and contempt for the American people. “But I think I know why you're doing it. It's because you don't want to answer questions. It's because you did all kinds of terrible things. It's because during the pandemic you got rich. I mean, your net worth now is north of $12 million! “You got over a million dollars in cash awards during COVID, during a 24-month span during COVID. A million bucks you knocked down in cash money using federal resources. Now you're worth more than $12 million. You've got a pension that, in its first year, paid out north of $400,000 a year. “A million people dead. You're getting rich! A million people dead. You're using federal employees to get cash awards for you. You were so focused on getting every award and every drop of cash that you could, all because you wanted to be on TV. “You wanted to be the ‘sun god' of science. You wanted to be the guy who was in charge of it all. You wanted to lambast Trump. You wanted to make sure that nobody else stole your spotlight. You wanted to be ‘the guy.' “You had time to sit for InStyle magazine. Here's what you were doing with your time. You could sit for InStyle Magazine, but you can't answer questions for the American people. You could sit for InStyle Magazine, but you're here taking the Fifth. You could sit for InStyle Magazine and get a million bucks in cash awards, but now the cat's got your tongue. I bet he does. I tell you what. “Here's my conclusion from all of this. This was really all about you the whole time. Somewhere along the way, you lost your way. You may have been a good public servant at one time. I don't know, but I can tell you from reading your emails now, from looking at what you did, how you used your employees. Somewhere along the line, it became all about you. “You became a narcissist and a megalomaniac and a liar. You've lied to the American people, and you've lied to this body, and you've disgraced your profession by doing it. You called yourself ‘the most famous scientist in the world.' The Pour Over media outlet addressed when someone can plead the Fifth Amendment.  Any time a statement is compelled and might incriminate you.  If someone is asked to testify or hand over evidence that could get them prosecuted, they can plead the Fifth. Is there anything that can override someone's Fifth Amendment right? Yes: immunity or a pardon which Dr. Fauci had from President Joe Biden.  Pardoned people are exempt from prosecution, meaning they cannot incriminate themselves, and therefore should be allowed to invoke the Fifth Amendment. Leftist TV Host SHOCKED about our God-given rights Back on July 5, 2025, House Speaker Mike Johnson of Louisiana, an Evangelical, affirmed that our rights come from God, not government, something he has affirmed many times since then. JOHNSON: “We are so blessed. We should not take it for granted. We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal. It does not say born equal. It says created equal. “It is our Creator that gives us our rights. We are the first nation in the history of the world that acknowledged that our rights do not derive from government. They come from God Himself. (cheers) Those words up there, that motto, it says, "In God we trust” right above the speaker's rostrum. “Congress voted to put that there as a rebuke to the Soviets' worldview at the height of the Cold War. Why? Because communism, socialism find their root in Marxism, and Marxism begins with the belief that there is no God. It's wrong, and this Congress made a stand those many years ago, and we should do it again. “We're different. We're distinct. We're exceptional because we acknowledge that right there.” On July 27th, 2026, Speaker Johnson's affirmation that our rights come from God got under the skin of leftist TV host Katy Tur on MS NOW, formerly called MSNBC,  She moderated a panel in which she questioned the legitimacy of that claim.   Listen. TUR: “What about this passage from Mike Johnson declaring that ‘our rights do not derive from government, they come from You, our Creator and Heavenly Father.' Is this him putting God over the Declaration of Independence?” Needless to say, the most famous line of the Declaration of Independence says, “We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.” Jarrett Stepman of The Daily Signal rightly points out that “the concept that God is ‘above' the Declaration of Independence is in the Declaration of Independence. God's law supersedes man's law. Governments that deprive citizens of rights endowed by their Creator, without due process, are bad governments and are possibly illegitimate.” One of Katy Tur's guests on the leftist MS NOW network, Atlantic writer McKay Coppins, weighed in. He noted that her audience may not be familiar with the concept of God-given rights. COPPINS: “That idea is not wholly uncommon. I mean the idea that we have unalienable rights that come from God can be read in a fairly benign way -- which is basically that we have innate human rights, that our Constitution and our democratic government, are meant to codify. “The thing that might alarm some people is some of the rhetoric that we heard at this rally that we are in a spiritual battle, that the forces of good and evil are at work here, and that partisan politics is injected directly into the spiritual, Biblical rhetoric. “We have heard that for the last couple of years. It's been ratcheted up more and more, especially since Donald Trump lost in 2020. It can lead to some pretty dangerous places.” Lesbian co-owner of Seattle WNBA team fined for confrontation w/Christian teens As The Worldview reported on July 27th,  29-year-old Sophie Cunningham, an outspoken Christian WNBA player on the Indiana Fever team, has publicly opposed biological males competing in female sports and coming into female bathrooms and locker rooms. During the July 28th game against the Seattle Storm, two teenage girls, wearing XX-XY Athletics t-shirts, held a sign which read, “Thank you Sophie for speaking up for girls,” reports The Christian Post. Those shirts and the sign got under the skin of Celeste Keaton, a lesbian co-owner of the Seattle Storm who is faux married to co-owner Lisa Brummel.  Romans 1:24 and 26 says, “Therefore, God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. ... God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones.” Not only did Keaton use foul language, calling the teen girls “insane,” but Keaton also claimed that somehow Jesus needed to forgive the Christian girls for affirming God's design of men and women. In an interview with Brandi Kruse, who organized an event affirming Cunningham outside the arena, one of the teen girls explained what happened. TEENAGE GIRL: “We were just sitting there with our signs that said, ‘We love Sophie. Thank you, Sophie, for speaking up.' Watching the game, being super respectful. We're just holding our signs and cheering for both teams. “And this lady, older lady, comes up to us. ‘Oh, I hope Jesus can forgive you for what sin you've done.'” Kruse interjected that she noticed the girl was crying. The girl agreed and said this. TEENAGE GIRL:  “I've never been yelled at like that. I mean, I've had people hate on me on the internet, but that just took me by surprise because I thought she was gonna be nice. And then she started screaming at us. It's disappointing though too, because she's also a woman, and she just cussed out two 16-year-olds that were just trying to have fun. We're just trying to support Sophie.” Sophie Cunningham complimented the teens and blasted the Seattle Storm lesbian co-owner. Thankfully, the WNBA fined Keaton an undisclosed amount and suspended her from attending the Storm's next five home games, reports Fox13. In response, the Storm organization said, "We respect the league's decision to fine and suspend co-owner Celeste Keaton. We remain committed to creating a welcoming and respectful environment for anyone who attends a Storm game." (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Syrians in America have to leave the country The expiration of Temporary Protected Status for Syrians in America this week has renewed attention on the fragile security environment facing civilians in Syria, particularly Christians who remain vulnerable 18 months after the fall of Bashar al-Assad's dictatorship in this 87% Muslim country, reports International Christian Concern. Temporary Protected Status is a humanitarian immigration designation that allows nationals of countries experiencing armed conflict to remain and work legally in the United States for a limited period. The designation does not provide a pathway to permanent residency but shields recipients from deportation while conditions in their home country are deemed unsafe for return. In December 2024, rebel forces, led by Ahmed al-Sharaa, forced al-Assad from power.  Al-Sharaa's group had previously been associated with Muslim jihadist movements, including al-Qaeda. Before the Syrian civil war, Christians represented a significant minority of Syria's population concentrated in Damascus — where the Apostle Paul was converted on the street. While Christians have not experienced the same level of targeted mass violence as other groups, there has been harassment and attacks on Christian communities. President Trump floats temporarily pulling Blache nomination to be AG President Donald Trump said on July 30 that he was willing to temporarily withdraw his nomination of Todd Blanche to be Attorney General until next year, if two Republican senators continued to withhold their support, reports The Epoch Times. Blanche's nomination has been held up in the Senate Judiciary Committee after Republican Senators John Cornyn of Texas and Thom Tillis of North Carolina said they would not back bringing it to the floor for a full vote. Those two votes are necessary for the nomination to advance. Earlier this year, both Cornyn and Tillis lost their bid for re-election after President Trump endorsed their opponents during the primaries. The president now intends to wait them out. In the meantime, Blanche will remain the acting head of the Department of Justice. Over that period, I proved that I believe in and respect the value of legitimate congressional oversight. During and after the COVID pandemic, I have appeared multiple times for hearings in the Senate and the House, usually under oath, and sat for several days-long, transcribed, sworn interviews answering questions about the very issues that are now the subject of this hearing. “However, given Senator [Rand] Paul's obvious obsession with calling for my prosecution, his repeated slanderous comments about me, and recently his publicly releasing my unredacted personal diary aimed at embarrassing and intimidating me, the only conclusion I can reach is that the sole reason he is calling me before this committee is to get me to say something, anything, that could vindicate his repeated public pledges that I end up, in his words, ‘behind bars'. “Any reasonable person who has followed his unhinged obsession with me would readily come to the same conclusion. Dr. Fauci stonewalled Senator Rand Paul numerous times Dr. Anthony Fauci repeatedly stonewalled Republican Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky, the Chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. The senator started with asking about former President Joe Biden's bizarre “full and unconditional” pardon of Dr. Fauci. PAUL:  “As a member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, or the White House COVID-19 Response Team, or as Chief Medical Advisor to the President, have you refused this pardon? Or do you have any reason to believe this full and unconditional pardon, this grant of immunity, would somehow require you to plead the Fifth Amendment?” FAUCI: “On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer, based upon my rights under the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution.” PAUL: “Based on the facts presented, I'm going to direct you to answer the questions. The committee has issued a valid subpoena. They have requested your presence here. The questions are very pertinent to your decision making as head of [the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases], as well as a chief advisor to the president, do you still refuse to answer the questions?” FAUCI: “On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer, based upon my rights under the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution.” PAUL:  “Were you ever made aware of gain-of-function research on monkeypox being conducted at the National Bio Defense Analysis and Countermeasures Center, and back at Fort Detrick, [the center of the U.S. biological weapons program from 1943 to 1969]?” FAUCI: “On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer, based upon my rights under the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution.” PAUL:  “Dr. Fauci, did the CIA ever transfer funds to [the National Institutes of Health] under interagency agreement?” FAUCI: “On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer, based upon my rights under the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution.” And Senator Rand Paul took this parting shot. PAUL: “The chairman has denied your assertion of privilege and directed you to answer, but you nonetheless refuse and stand on privilege despite the existence of the pardon. The committee will have to consider after this hearing what appropriate action should be taken against you for the failure to testify after being directed to do so. “It's against the law to obstruct an investigation of Congress. There will be repercussions to your refusal to testify today.” Watchdog group: Medical groups should condemn transgender surgeries on minors The medical watchdog group, Do No Harm, is calling on 10 major medical associations to explicitly condemn transgender genital surgeries on minors, reports The Daily Signal. On July 29th, Do No Harm sent open letters to the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Medical Association among others. In the letter, the group wrote, “Do No Harm, and its 54,000 members, are calling on your society to publicly reject genital surgery on minors for the purpose of producing [so-called] ‘gender transitions.' While this process is uncommon, we believe that it should never occur.” In Matthew 19:4, Jesus asked, “Have you not read that [God], who created them from the beginning, made them male and female?” Marijuana should not be reclassified as a less dangerous drug Marijuana could be reclassified as a less dangerous substance under federal law. Kevin Sabet, CEO of Smart Approaches to Marijuana and the former drug policy advisor for the Clinton, George W. Bush and Obama presidential administrations as well as President Trump's former U.S. Attorney General William Barr, thinks that would be a terrible idea. He said that reclassifying marijuana as a drug with accepted medical use and a lower risk of abuse than drugs subject to greater controls would be reckless. Sabet added, “The evidence presented at the hearing confirmed what decades of data have shown: Raw marijuana has no scientifically established medical value and carries a high risk of abuse. Today's marijuana is more dangerous than ever before. [Reclassifying] marijuana would create the false impression that it is safe, would reduce penalties for peddling the drug illegally and would give those who purvey it legally a huge tax windfall. That would be a disaster.”  The Department of Justice held a hearing last month to consider it at President Donald Trump's request. Despite the fact that President Trump is a teetotaler who eschews alcohol and drugs, he told his administration last December to push forward on easing marijuana restrictions, after an aggressive lobbying push by advocates including a cannabis CEO, a Florida sheriff, and a Mar-a-Lago member, the Wall Street Journal previously reported. Jim Daly, President of Focus on the Family, previously wrote, “Use of cannabis increases a person's chance of developing a bipolar disorder or schizophrenia by an average of 47%. It's also shown to significantly increase hallucinations and paranoia. “In fact, it's been determined that regular use of medical marijuana leads to a higher chance of heart attack, stroke and coronary artery disease. … If the established goal is to make America healthy and great again, this objective will not be reached by increasing access to poisonous pot.” In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, the Apostle Paul asked, “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, Who is in you, Whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price.
