(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Adam McManus Escalating persecution of Christians in Africa International Christian Concern released a new report on the escalating persecution of Christians in Africa.  Targeted attacks are increasing in countries with large Christian populations like Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Kenya.  The report documented attacks that have killed hundreds of Christians in Africa this year. These attacks not only involve brutal killings, but also abductions and displacement. They are often perpetrated by Islamic militant groups.  Please pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ in Africa.  Conservatives arrested for protesting transgenderism Belgian police arrested two conservative activists last Thursday in Brussels, Belgium for protesting transgenderism. Lois Miller, a Senior Legal Communications Officer with Alliance Defending Freedom International, was holding a sign that read: “Children are never born in the wrong body.” And Canadian child protection advocate Chris Elston was holding a sign that read: “Children cannot consent to puberty blockers.”  The two activists called the police after facing aggressive harassment from bystanders. However, the police decided to arrest Miller and Elston! Listen to comments from Miller. MILLER: “They saw that a mob was formed. They saw that we were in the minority, that we were the ones that were being attacked. And instead of standing up for our rights to have those conversations about really important topics to Belgians everywhere, instead they took us away and they let the mob go free.” Proverbs 17:15 says, “He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just, both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD.” Progress in U.S.-Chinese trade talks U.S. President Donald Trump announced a preliminary trade deal with China yesterday. Trump said China will provide rare earth minerals and magnets to America and that the U.S. would restart Chinese student visas.  U.S. tariffs on imports from China stand at 55 percent, while Chinese tariffs on imports from the U.S. stand at 10 percent. Total tariffs between the two countries reached 245 percent before trade talks began. Congress might repeal pro-abortion Freedom of Access to Clinics Entrances Act The U.S. House Judiciary Committee advanced a bill this week to repeal the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act also known as the FACE Act. The Biden administration used the act to target peaceful, pro-life activists. Between 1994 and 2024, 97 percent of FACE Act prosecutions were against pro-lifers.  Republican Rep. Chip Roy of Texas said, “With a Republican-led Congress and President Trump's support, we can repeal this law and protect free speech for all.” Clarification on religious groups story from yesterday We apologize for any confusion from our story yesterday about the growth of religious groups around the world. To clarify, the total number of Christians did increase from 2.1 billion to 2.3 billion between 2010 and 2020. However, as a percentage of the world's population, Christianity actually decreased from 30.6 percent to 28.8 percent over the same time period. You see, even though the number of Christians grew over that decade, it did not grow fast enough to keep up with global population growth, especially the fertility rate of Muslims, and thus Christians decreased as a percentage of the world's population. Religious instruction under public school umbrella Public school students in Iowa can now take courses in religious instruction. Iowan Republican Governor Kim Reynolds signed the bill into law last Friday. The measure allows parents to send their children to religious instruction provided by a private group during the school day. Greg Chafuen, senior counsel at Alliance Defending Freedom, said, “Parents have the right and responsibility to guide the upbringing and education of their children. The government should not stop families from raising their children in their family's faith.” Southern Baptists call for overturn of Obergefell homosexual marriage ruling The Southern Baptist Convention adopted multiple resolutions this week on the topics of marriage, sexuality, and human life. One resolution called for the overturning of the U.S. Supreme Court's Obergefell v. Hodges ruling which legalized faux homosexual marriage. Another resolution called for Congress and state legislatures to ban chemical abortion drugs. And a third resolution called for the banning of pornographic content.  Representatives to the Southern Baptist Convention urged, “all Southern Baptists to advocate in the public square for laws and policies that reflect the moral order revealed in Scripture and nature, and to bear witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which alone restores broken lives, redeems sin, and brings eternal hope.” Psalm 119:46 says, “I will speak of Your testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.” Worldview listeners in England, Canada and Texas share their hearts I invited Worldview listeners to share what they enjoyed about the newscast in 2-6 sentences. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Adam McManus Islamic legal system discourages Christian conversion in Brunei, Iran & Yemen Christians face significant persecution in countries that follow Sharia law like Brunei, Iran, and Yemen.  The Islamic legal system is used to ban people from converting out of Islam to another religion.  International Christian Concern notes, “The abuse inflicted upon the Christians of these nations is an open secret.  … Forcing Christians into prisons — often under the guise of slanderous accusations, sexually assaulting Christian women, and forcing Christ followers into demeaning work has become commonplace in far too many nations.” Muslims experienced highest growth rate among religions Pew Research released a report on the growth of religious groups in the world between 2010 and 2020. All religious groups except Buddhists increased numerically during the time frame. Muslims grew the most, followed by the religiously unaffiliated. Christians increased by about five percent from 2.1 billion to 2.3 billion people.  As a share of the global population, only Muslims and the religiously unaffiliated experienced growth. Christians and Buddhists decreased as a share of the global population while Hindus, Jews, and other religions held steady. Muslims have a notably higher fertility rate than other religious groups around the world. Supreme Court affirmed right of Catholic group to tax exemption In the United States, the Supreme Court ruled unanimously in favor of a Catholic nonprofit last Thursday. The state of Wisconsin had denied a tax exemption for the Catholic Charities Bureau in 2016. The case went before the state Supreme Court which ruled against the nonprofit.  Nick Reaves, an attorney at Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, commented on the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling. He said, “When every justice agrees and says ‘Yes, this is foundational to our understanding of religious freedom, that you can't discriminate among religions,' that's really exciting for us.” RFK Jr. replaced entire Advisory Committee on Immunization The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is replacing the 17 members of the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices. The committee makes vaccine recommendations to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The Biden administration had appointed all 17 members. Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. stated, “A clean sweep is necessary to reestablish public confidence in vaccine science. ACIP's new members will prioritize public health and evidence-based medicine. The Committee will no longer function as a rubber stamp for industry profit-taking agendas.” The younger the kids of divorce, the worse the trauma The National Bureau of Economic Research released a report last month about the effects of divorce on children. The study noted that nearly a third of American children experience parental divorce before adulthood. Children had more negative outcomes the younger they were when the divorce occurred.  Researchers wrote, “We find that parental divorce reduces children's adult earnings and college residence while increasing incarceration, mortality, and teen births.” Speaking of husband and wife, in Matthew 19:6, Jesus said, “So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, let not man separate.” Trump: We “will always defend right of every American to worship God freely” The White House released a presidential message on Pentecost Sunday this week. The message from President Donald Trump said, “Today, I join in prayer with Christians joyfully celebrating the descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost—one of the most sacred events of the Christian faith. We commemorate the fulfillment of Jesus Christ's earthly mission and the birth of His holy and living Church. "As we celebrate this glorious feast day, we also honor all Christians who, like the Apostles, have willingly endured persecution because of their faith.  My Administration will always defend the right of every American to worship God freely and without fear.” On the day of Pentecost, the Apostle Peter said,  “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2:38) Lesson from The American Miracle movie: “God governs in the affairs of men” If you have not yet seen The American Miracle, the new docudrama about God's providential hand in America's founding, then get tickets to see it tonight.  And bring a bunch of your friends with you. Remarkably, the slave won her freedom in a Massachusetts court on August 22, 1781.  This is what Lauren Lael said. LAEL: “I think that one of the biggest Biblical themes that The American Miracle embodies is, I think, a spirit of integrity and a message of hope and a message also of connectedness, that really exalts God. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Panama grants asylum to 11 Iranian Christians Eleven Christian asylum seekers from Iran have been given a 6-month reprieve in Panama. A 27-year-old woman, Artemis Ghasemzadeh,  told International Christian Concern that “If you're a Muslim and you convert to Christianity, it's a problem. The police want to catch you.” The Christians will continue searching for a country that will take them to avoid repatriation, imprisonment, and possibly death if they return to Iran. According to Open Doors, Iran is the ninth most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. Cuban prosecutors threatening pastor and wife with prison Cuban prosecutors are threatening eight years of imprisonment for a Christian pastor and his wife who mentioned God in a public trial. Pastor Luis Guillermo Borjas and  his wife, Roxana Rojas, of the Assemblies of God, were detained on May 19th for mentioning God's justice in a trial involving their son. The trial for the couple is scheduled for this week. Please keep Pastor Luis and his wife Roxana n your prayers. Open Doors reports that Cuba is the 26th most difficult country worldwide in which to be a Christian. Franklin Graham: We need evangelists who are unafraid and unapologetic A thousand delegates attended the European Congress on Evangelism in Berlin, Germany at the end of last month.   Fifty-nine years ago, Evangelist Billy Graham addressed the first European Congress on Evangelism in Berlin. BILLY GRAHAM: “The city of Berlin has influenced the world in every field. What a place from which to shout to the world: Christ is the Savior.” On May 30th, Evangelist Franklin Graham, his son, addressed the conference as well. FRANKLIN GRAHAM: “The Gospel has power. We're going to reach Europe. We need an army -- an army of evangelists -- unafraid, unashamed, unapologetic, uncompromising.” In his closing remarks, Graham spoke of the opposition he received in England recently. He said, “When we were losing our contracts in the U.K., it was coming from the LGBT+ community. They were the ones opposing us, who have the rainbow flags, which I see as the flags for the anti-Christ. And they wanted to have victory. Well, God gave us victory! … This is the group coming after us. … “So, don't compromise, and be strong. Fulfill your ministry. We know there's going to be suffering and challenges, some fights, but let's be strong. We go in the power of the name of Jesus Christ, King of kings and Lord of lords.” Conservative Columbian presidential candidate shot in head The conservative candidate for President in Columbia, Miguel Turbay, was shot three times on Saturday, twice in the head. The 39-year-old senator remains in serious condition in a Bogota hospital.  U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said, “We stand in prayer with Miguel's family, loved ones, and his supporters. Those responsible for this attack must face justice.” Lenin statue toppled in Kyrgyzstan The legacy of atheist tyrants does not last forever. Kyrgyzstan is removing a 75-foot-tall monument of Vladimir Lenin in the city of Osh.   Photos showing Lenin's statue face down on the ground were made public over the weekend. This comes as Moscow has just installed a large monument to the communist  dictator Joseph Stalin in a city subway. Keep in mind Psalm 49:12-13, 16. It says, “Man in his pomp yet without understanding is like the beasts that perish. This is the path of those who have foolish confidence; yet after them people approve of their boasts.  …  Be not afraid when a man becomes rich, when the glory of his house increases. For when he dies, he will carry nothing away; his glory will not go down after him.” (ESV) CA protestors clash with ICE over illegals; Trump send 2,000 troops California protestors who are at odds with the Trump administration's policy on arresting illegal immigrants have taken to the streets, creating mayhem in major cities, reports The EpochTimes.com. Police arrested 150 protesters in San Francisco, and about 60 in Los Angeles over the weekend. The riots started with protestors attempting to thwart Immigration and Custom Enforcement's arrests in Los Angeles on Friday. President Trump has deployed 2,000 National Guard troops.  California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom is calling for a withdrawal. Plus, California Attorney General Rob Bonta filed a court order attempting to gain a restraining order on the deployment.  Silver hits an all-time high Silver has hit a 13-year high — topping out around $36.70 per ounce on Monday. Gold is still hovering around $3,330 per ounce. The gold to silver ratio is still about the highest it has been in history — right around 90:1. The ratio has averaged around 65:1 since the year 2000. Historically, prior to the 1920s,  the ratio was about 20:1.  Michael Tait of Christian band Newsboys confesses to sexual sin The Contemporary Christian Music band, Newsboys, revealed over the weekend that lead singer, Michael Tait confessed to having been leading a “double life.”   This comes after a lengthy investigative report was released from the Julie Roys organization, alleging drug abuse and the sin of homosexual behavior on the part of the lead singer. The report included multiple testimonies of scandalous behavior dating back as far as 2005. Michael Tait was a founding member of dc Talk, another big Christian Contemporary band from the 1990s. The two bands won 20 Dove Awards and four Grammys combined.   The Newsboys group was featured in the films God's Not Dead, God's Not Dead 2, and God's Not Dead: A Light in Darkness. Actor Tim Allen reading through whole Bible Tim Allen, known for his role in the sitcom Home Improvement, is reading through the whole Bible. He posted on X that since beginning the challenge last year, he's finished reading the whole Old Testament. He called the read a “humbling overwhelming experience.” And, he said, “What a treasure!” Allen just posted that he is in the book of Romans. He announced last year that this would be the first time he has ever read the Bible.  Psalm 19:8, 10-11 says, “The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover, by them, Your servant is warned. It's in 1,000 theaters through Wednesday, June 11th.  We loved it.  It was inspirational to learn about God's providential intervention in human history to enable America to win the War for Independence against seemingly insurmountable odds. We especially enjoyed hearing a portion of Daniel Webster's speech given on July 4, 1826, on the 50th anniversary of the birth of America  and the deaths that day of Thomas Jefferson, age 83,  and John Adams, age 90.  TAYLOR:  “My name is James Arnold Taylor. Print story South Korean federal and local governments are offering up to $29,000 in cash to couples who agree to get married. The Korean Times also reports that government-provided benefits intending to stir up romantic interest include $370 for dating expenses, $750 for  engagement meeting costs, and $7,500 for travel subsidies. Korean and other Asian societies maintain a very low illegitimacy rate. So, marriage is supposed to help the birth dearth. South Korea's fertility rate is just about the lowest in the world — 0.75 child per woman.

(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Myanmar ceasefire extended to June 30 despite consistent violations The military junta ruling Myanmar announced last week that it would extend a temporary ceasefire, originally established in early April, to June 30, reports International Christian Concern. A massive earthquake struck the country in late March, killing 3,700 people and necessitating extensive relief work in hard-hit civilian areas.  Opposition militias agreed to the extended ceasefire, creating hope for improved humanitarian conditions in June despite regular junta violations of the ceasefire up to now. In the first three weeks of the ceasefire alone, the U.N. tracked at least 172 junta attacks, including airstrikes and artillery assaults.  The open-source research group Bellingcat documented that at least 22 villages were bombed by the junta in violation of the ceasefire agreement.  Senator Cruz wants June to be “Life” month because Roe was overturned Last Thursday, Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas introduced a resolution to designate June as Life month to honor the anniversary of the Supreme Court's monumental Dobbs decision to overturn Roe v. Wade on June 24, 2022. CRUZ: “Three years ago, the Supreme Court made an historic advance in the cause of life in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization.  The court overturned Roe v. Wade, a flawed decision that for nearly 50 years enshrined one of the most disturbing notions in our constitutional history: that the Constitution somehow protects the right to end the life of an unborn child. “The fact is, Roe had nothing to do with the Constitution. It was invented whole cloth. It was the product of judicial activism, nine justices legislating from the bench. And that dangerous path took decades to correct. “Thankfully, in 2022, Roe was overturned.  Dobbs did not impose any new policies from the bench. Instead, the task of protecting life falls where it always should have been -- not in the hands of unelected judges, but in the hands of the American people.” Canadian pastor imprisoned for objecting to Drag Queen Story Hour Calgary Pastor Derek Reimer, a street preacher who has had the courage to object to drag queen story hours for children in libraries, is back in jail in Alberta, Canada, reports the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. The conviction came after Reimer confronted a library manager over a Drag Queen Story Hour event, reports Rebel News. Wearing a GoPro, he walked into the library, spoke to a few attendees, and eventually found the room where the event was taking place. He told the manager the program was "pervert grooming" and warned, "We're going to make your name public and hold you accountable." Security escorted him out peacefully. Later, he posted the video online — along with the manager's name, workplace, and the library phone number — calling on viewers to voice their opposition. Only one person reportedly contacted her, but the librarian testified that she became afraid of what might happen next. She shut down her social media accounts and said Reimer's words left her anxious and fearful. The 38-year-old pastor was arrested and accused of breaching the house arrest condition of his sentence for simply participating in a public rally before his own court appearance. Pastor Reimer, who has now been jailed unjustly at the Calgary Remand Centre for over a month, has been treated badly. The judicial officials have blocked all visitors from seeing him, even the ones who were pre-approved. The only ones allowed to visit Pastor Reimer are his wife, Mona, and their baby. Derek's lawyer, Andrew Mackenzie, hopes that media attention on Reimer's unfair treatment will lead to a more positive outcome. Concerned Christian friends have been gathering for a rally of support at the Remand Centre every Sunday afternoon at 4:30pm, protesting Pastor Reimer's incarceration and bail denial. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Nigerian Muslims killed 9 Christians On June 1st and 2nd, Fulani Muslim herdsmen killed at least nine Christians in Plateau State, Nigeria, following the slaughter of 27 others days before, reports Morning Star News. The attacks took place in Bokkos County in predominantly Christian communities. Emmanuel Auta, a local resident, said, “Christians [are] being butchered.” Another resident, Lilian Madaki, said, “Among some of the Christian victims that I know is a 14-year-old Christian teenager who was shot and wounded and is currently being treated at a hospital.” And, in a text to Christian Daily International, Yakubu Kefas wrote,  “The attackers, who we believe are Fulani terrorists, are carrying out indiscriminate shootings, killings, and large-scale arson, resulting in widespread terror, Christian casualties, and destruction of property.” Please pray for our suffering brothers and sisters in Christ in Plateau State, Nigeria. Proverbs 21:15 says, “When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.” Trump bans new visas for foreign nationals from 12 countries On June 4, President Donald Trump issued a full suspension on new visas for foreign nationals from a dozen countries applying for entry to the United States and a partial suspension on nationals from another seven, reports TheEpochTimes.com. The proclamation is set to go into effect at 12:01 a.m. ET on June 9. A full suspension will go into effect for nationals from Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, the Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen. A partial suspension will affect nationals from Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela. This executive action comes after the Secretary of State and assistant to the president on Homeland Security filed a report on April 9 identifying countries with such deficient vetting and screening information that a full or partial suspension of entry for their nationals was warranted. ‘60 Minutes' anchor Scott Pelley ripped for "angry, unhinged" speech criticizing Trump Outraged critics blasted longtime CBS “60 Minutes” anchor Scott Pelley as “angry” and “unhinged” after he delivered a fear-baced tirade against President Donald Trump during a commencement speech in North Carolina, reports the New York Post. The CBS newscaster warned Wake Forest University's graduating class on May 19 that “insidious fear” has infiltrated schools, businesses, and homes across the nation — leaving America in a state of “peril.” Listen. PELLEY:  “In this moment, our sacred rule of law is under attack. Journalism is under attack. Universities are under attack. Freedom of speech is under attack, and insidious fear is reaching through our schools, our businesses, our homes.” Scott Jennings, the conservative commentator on CNN, called Pelley out for such a ridiculous statement. JENNINGS: “On the free speech issue, I don't know what America Scott Pelley is living in. We have more speech now than ever. There is no problem with free speech in America. What we do have a problem with are people who don't speak truthfully, who are interested more in narratives than truth, and who are using what used to be journalism for activism. We do have a problem with that.” Jennings asserted that 60 Minutes on CBS is a platform that is more interested in a leftist narrative than the truth. JENNINGS: “If you've watched 60 Minutes for five minutes over the last several years, you would know it's not fair. This is one of the shows, this is one of the outlets that conservatives would point to most often to say: ‘This is the state of American journalism. It's only here to try to hurt Republicans, hurt conservatives, hurt Donald Trump.'” Painting of Jesus returned to prominent location at naval academy U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy has announced that he is restoring an historic painting of Jesus Christ to its place of prominence at the Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York, after it had been taken down by Biden-era officials, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Known as “Christ on the water,” the painting depicts Jesus walking on the water in stormy seas toward merchant seamen adrift in a lifeboat, presumably after being torpedoed.  DUFFY: “We are moving Jesus out of the basement. To all the great midshipmen at the Merchant Marine Academy, you let me know how important this painting was to all of you. Now, we all know it was taken out of a place of prominence and put it down in the basement. “I worked with the Academy, and because this is such a historic painting, I'm announcing that through that work with the Academy, this painting is going to go from the basement back to its place of prominence. It'll be a moment to celebrate.” It was painted by Lieutenant Hunter Wood in 1944 as a tribute to all merchant seamen who had been torpedoed during World War II. Actor Kevin Sorbo champions U.S. Christian heritage in new movie In the new docudrama called The American Miracle, historian Paul Kengor, one of 14 historians, captures how pivotal the Declaration of Independence and the subsequent American Revolution was for the world. KENGOR: “America in 1776: This is a watershed event in history. If you were to pick something over the last 450 years, four and a half centuries or so, that truly transformed humanity and the full scope of history, it was 1776.” The American Miracle movie will hit 1,000 screens across America on three days only – Monday, June 9th, Tuesday, June 10th, and Wednesday, June 11th. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Adam McManus Christian groups in India to speak out against persecution June 9 Christian groups across India are organizing a protest against persecution of Christians on Monday, June 9. The National Christian Front noted, “Our Christian brothers and sisters are enduring brutal attacks and growing intolerance from anti-social elements. This is not merely a Christian issue — it is a grave concern for humanity, for peace, and for the values enshrined in our Constitution.” Christians suffered over 600 incidents of violence and discrimination in India last year. The country is ranked 11th on the Open Doors' World Watch List of most difficult places to be a Christian. U.K. Christian groups calling for prayer on June 11 In the United the Kingdom, Christian groups are calling for a day of prayer on Wednesday, June 11 for protecting human life. This comes as lawmakers are considering bills to legalize assisted suicide.  Listen to comments from Ciarán Kelly, director of The Christian Institute.  KELLY: “This is a crucial time for our country. So, it's vital that Christians are asking the God, Who made Heaven and Earth, that He would overrule in all these things, to protect vulnerable people from this careless and callous bill.” In 1 Timothy 1:1-2, the Apostle Paul wrote, “I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.” Trump overturns pro-abortion Biden rule In the United States, the Trump administration rescinded a pro-abortion rule on Tuesday that came from the Biden administration.  The rule tried to force hospital emergency rooms to offer abortions even if the state restricted them.  Matt Bowman, Senior Counsel at Alliance Defending Freedom, said, “Doctors—especially in emergency rooms—are tasked with preserving life. The Trump administration has rolled back a harmful Biden-era mandate that compelled doctors to end unborn lives, in violation of their deeply held beliefs.” Trump raises tariffs on steel imports President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Tuesday to raise tariffs on steel imports. The order doubles tariffs on steel and aluminum coming into the country from 25% to 50%. The levy will affect steel exporters in Canada, Mexico, and many countries in Europe. However, the tariff on steel from the United Kingdom remains at 25% as the U.S. and U.K. work out a trade deal.  Dust from Africa's Saharan Desert hits America Over the weekend, a massive plume of dust made its way to Florida all the way from the Saharan Desert in Africa.  Such dust plumes are known as the Saharan Air Layer and typically cross the Atlantic each year. The current plume is the biggest one to reach the U.S. so far this season. It measures nearly 2,000 miles wide and 750 miles from north to south.  The dust can diminish air quality but also creates spectacular sunrises and sunsets.  Only 1 in 100 Evangelical pastors leave ministry annually A report from Lifeway Research found that only 1 out of 100 Evangelical pastors leave the ministry each year.  This low rate has remained steady for the last 10 years despite many pastors acknowledging their work is very demanding and even overwhelming.  Scott McConnell with Lifeway Research said, “The rate of pastors departing the pastorate is steady and quite low given the demands of the role. Many of those leaving the pastorate feel they are moving at God's direction to another role of ministry.” In 2 Timothy 4:2, the Apostle Paul wrote, “Preach the Word! Be ready in season and out of season. The military of the West African nation dissolved all political parties in the crackdown. Jo Newhouse with Open Doors Sub-Saharan Africa said, “Christians in Mali have faced increasing persecution over the past few years. By closing the democratic space, and further encroaching on civil liberties, the junta is adding unwelcome pressure to an already volatile situation.” Please pray for the church in Mali, Africa. The country is ranked 14th on the Open Doors' World Watch List of the most difficult places to be a Christian.  Ukrainian evangelist: Thousands coming to Christ A Ukrainian evangelist addressed the European Congress on Evangelism in Berlin, Germany last Thursday. Evangelist David Karcha reported that Ukrainian Evangelicals have been ministering to their fellow countrymen since Russia invaded the country in 2022. Churches are seeing thousands of people come to Christ during the war. Karcha said, “In the world's eyes, Ukraine is a story of war. But in God's eyes, it is a story of revival, a story that reminds us all that the Gospel advances.” 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 says, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds … and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God.” American economy predicted to grow by only 1.6% this year The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development cut its economic growth outlook for the United States. The group forecasts the U.S. economy will expand by 1.6% this year, down from its previous forecast of 2.2%. Experts also expect global economic growth to slow this year in the wake of U.S President Donald Trump's tariff policies. They also noted, “trade uncertainty and economic policy uncertainty has reached unprecedented levels.” Dept of Ed. shuns homosexual pride month, celebrates Title IX month To its credit, the U.S. Department of Education is not celebrating homosexual pride month in the month of June. Instead, the Trump administration is recognizing June as “Title IX Month.” Title IX of the Education Amendments was signed into law by President Richard Nixon on June 23, 1972. It prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs. However, the Biden administration tried to inject transgender protections into the law. Under Trump's Education Department, the administration is promising to protect women's and girls' sports from such transgender activism.  Muslim immigrant used flamethrower on peaceful pro-Israel group in CO An immigrant, motivated by anti-Semitic beliefs, has been accused of brutally attacking a peaceful pro-Israel group advocating for Israeli hostages held captive by the Muslim terrorist group known as Hamas, reports The Blaze. Mohamed Sabry Soliman, a 45-year-old Egyptian national in the United States despite reportedly overstaying his visa, is suspected of attacking a group of individuals participating in a walk in Boulder, Colorado at 2:00pm on June 1st. According to CNN, he allegedly used a makeshift flamethrower and Molotov cocktails to set people on fire at an event in support of hostages in Gaza as he yelled “Free Palestine.” He injured at least 12 people. The victims ranged in age from 52 to 88 years old, including a Holocaust survivor. The U.S. Attorney General's office has charged Soliman with a hate crime. The attack targeted the “Run for Their Lives” group, a grassroots organization that gathered on Pearl Street on Sunday evening to support the release of the hostages captured by the terrorist group in October 2023. According to the FBI, the Jewish group chapter gathers weekly. Maya Bajayo is the organizer of the “Run for Their Lives” group. BAJAYO: “We're here only to raise awareness for the hostages. It makes it even more scary for us that it could have been us.” Amazingly, Bajayo, who has been leading the walk for 83 Sundays straight, refuses to stop walking despite the threat of violence. She explained why to Channel 9 News. BAJAYO: “To show people that we're still here, the problem hasn't been solved, and the hostages need to be released. We're just not going to give up on them.” Oklahoma Governor: "Life begins at conception.” During June, Oklahoma is celebrating  a “Month for Life.” Republican Governor Kevin Stitt signed the proclamation Monday. He wrote on X, “Life begins at conception. We're committed to supporting moms every step. And God has a plan for every life.” The proclamation encouraged citizens to join the Oklahoma March for Life on Saturday, June 7. 10th anniversary of Supreme Court's pro-homosexual marriage ruling The U.S. Supreme Court handed down its Obergefell v. Hodges decision 10 years ago on June 26, 2015. The infamous ruling requires states to recognize same-sex unions as marriages.  A new survey from Gallup found that 68% of U.S. adults support faux same-sex marriage, up from 60% in 2015. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Indonesian boy killed for his Christian faith An 8-year-old Indonesian boy in the Seberida district was killed for his faith in Jesus on May 19th, reports International Christian Concern.   Indonesia is an 87% Muslim country. The boy, publicly named as K.B., was beaten to death by five older Muslim boys.  Pastor Piet, of the GPDI Solagracia church where the family worshipped, remembers him as a child who was “diligent in Sunday school, often participating in Bible quizzes, and often winning.” His father said, “He was my first child. My second child is a girl. He was a good and strong child. He dreamed of becoming a soldier. I used to want to become a soldier, but I didn't. That's why I wanted him to become a soldier.” Psalm 116:15 says, “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Polish voters elect conservative president After a national election over the weekend, Poland will join a growing group of Western nations moving to the right of center -- more nationalistic, more supportive of traditional values, and more opposed to the internationalism of the day. A former boxer and historian, Mr. Karol Nawrocki, won the presidential election by a close vote of 50.9% to 49.1%. Nawrocki had been endorsed by President Donald Trump. Nawrocki quoted 2 Chronicles 7:14, stating that God would “heal the land” if they would “turn away from wicked ways, reports the Associated Press.”  The conservative edge in Poland has stood firm against pro-abortion policies and pro-European Union trends over the last five years. That will appear to continue with the Nawrocki administration. Poland will join the United States, Argentina, Hungary, and Italy, as nations that have moved in a conservative direction over the last few election cycles. GOP Senate fiscal hawks balking at price tag of Trump's Bill President Donald Trump's Big Beautiful Federal Spending Bill is heading to the U.S. Senate. But several Republican senators are balking at the price tag, including Senators Rand Paul of Kentucky and Josh Hawley of Missouri, reports Liberty Counsel Action. GOP Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin is proposing that at least $838 billion be cut from federal spending to reduce government expenditures from 23.3% to 20.6% of the gross national income. This would reduce government to the relative size of the economy in 2019 before the COVID crisis.  In other words, Senator Johnson is simply requesting that government be reduced to pre-pandemic levels.   Presently, the Congressional Budget Office is estimating that President Trump's Big Beautifull Bill will add another $22 trillion to the $37 trillion of federal debt — putting the U.S. debt at 134% of the Gross Domestic Product by 2035. Japan and United States have weak bond auctions The leading Keynesian governments in the world are having a hard time getting people to fund their debt. Japan's bond auction yielded the weakest demand since the 2010 recession. The U.S. bond auction last week was extremely weak, resulting in 30-year bond interest to bump up to 5.15% — the highest rate since 2007. Ukrainian drone attack took out one-third Russian's long-range bombers Ukraine dispatched a drone attack deep into Russia, hitting some key military sites over the weekend. The bombings have reportedly taken out more than one-third of Russia's long range bombers, crippling Russia's nuclear capabilities. Homosexual pride marches have lost up to 50% of sponsorship The licentious elements of society are celebrating their pride month in June.  Slate.com reports a reduction in corporate sponsorships of the homosexual/transgender pride marches in the U.S.  Some have lost 40-50% of the corporate monies they have received in previous years. Plus, companies like Comcast, Anheuser-Busch, and Smirnoff have dropped Pride sponsorships altogether. The firm Booz Allen Hamilton pulled sponsorships, referring to the president's executive orders -- one of which prohibits the U.S. government from contracting with companies that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. The World Pride event is taking place in Washington D.C. this year, the first time in the United States since the New York City event in 2019.  The larger sponsors of homosexual/transgender Pride events like World Pride include Hilton, Delta Airlines, Amazon, IKEA, Verizon, Corona, Fresca, and Starbucks. Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and Kroger are also supporting homosexual events this year. 1 John 2:16 and 17 speaks of lust and pride. It says, “All that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.” Focus on the Family targeted for affirming God's design for sexuality Focus on the Family is being targeted by the Southern Poverty Law Center for its opposition to homosexual behavior and gender transition for youths. The leftist group was particularly outraged with Jim Daly's more recent interviews of Rosaria Butterfield, and an interview of Walt Heyer and Kathy Grace Duncan. These were Christians who have repented of sins of homosexual behavior and transgenderism.   The Southern Poverty Law Center has been notorious for conflating Christian groups with Neo-Nazi and racist groups in the United States, and promoting persecution of Christians. Other ministries on their list include Family Research Council, Liberty Council, Coral Ridge Ministries, Alliance Defending Freedom, and Generations. Abortion Kill Pill creator died at 98 A French scientist, responsible for the deaths of 50 million babies, himself died last week at 98 years of age. Étienne-Émile Baulieu was instrumental in the development of the abortion kill pill, RU-486, in 1980.  About half of abortions in developed nations have been conducted by the abortion pill since the 2010s.  Today, chemical abortion accounts for 63% of all abortions in America. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Pakistan passes law that prohibits to curb child marriage On May 30th, despite fierce opposition from Islamist groups in Pakistan, President Asif Ali Zardari signed into law a landmark bill to curb child marriage, setting the minimum age for marriage for both genders at 18 years, reports Morning Star News. Opposition included the Council of Islamic Ideology, which declared that classifying marriage under the age of 18 as rape did not conform with Islamic law. The bill says that any man over 18 who marries an underage girl could face up to three years of rigorous imprisonment. Specifically, the bill states, “Living with a child under 18 in a marital relationship will be considered statutory rape.” Sherry Rehman, who introduced the bill in the Senate on May 19 after its passage in the National Assembly on May 16, described the legislation as a crucial step toward protecting the rights of women and children. Typically, kidnapped girls in Pakistan, some as young as 10, are abducted, forced to convert to Islam, and raped under cover of Islamic “marriages” and are then pressured to record false statements in favor of the kidnappers, 15 percent more Scottish mothers aborted their Down Syndrome babies Public Health Scotland revealed there were 18,710 abortions in Scotland in 2024, the highest number on record, reports Right to Life UK. This represents an increase of 468 abortions. Plus, there was a 15 percent increase in the number of babies with Down's syndrome who were aborted. Worse yet, since 2021, the number of babies with Down's syndrome who were aborted has increased by 81 percent. In 2024, 41 percent of abortions in Scotland were repeat abortions. In Psalm 139:13 and 16, David tells God, “For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. … Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be.” Elon Musk's return to the private sector Elon Musk announced on social media that he is leaving his role in the Trump administration, reports The Guardian. Spearheading the Department of Government Efficiency, Musk helped to cut $175 billion in waste, fraud, and abuse. Plus, D.O.G.E. helped to cut nearly 12 percent, or 260,000, of the 2.3 million-strong federal civilian workforce, largely through threats of firings, buyouts, and early retirement offers. After receiving a gold key from President Trump on Friday in the Oval Office, Musk said this. MUSK: “This is not the end of D.O.G.E., but really the beginning. My time as a special government employee necessarily had to end. It was a limited time thing. It's 134 days, I believe, which ends in a few days. But the D.O.G.E. team will only grow stronger. I'm confident that we will see a trillion dollars of savings. So, I look forward to continuing to be a friend and advisor to the president, continuing to support the D.O.G.E. team.” Musk's political activities have drawn protests and some investors have called for him to leave his work as Trump's adviser and manage Tesla more closely. Kennedy Center VP fired over speaking truth about homosexuality A prominent pro-Trump Christian says he was fired from his role as vice president of the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. just because he refused to renounce his belief that marriage is between one man and one woman. Floyd Brown, the founder of Western Journal, had been recruited about a month ago to serve as the performing arts center's vice president. He has spoken bluntly of his biblical understanding about God's design for our sexuality. BROWN: “Homosexuality is a punishment that comes upon a nation that has rejected God. They're debasing themselves and their humanity.” Leviticus 18:22 states: "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; such a thing is an abomination."  Floyd accused Kennedy Center President Ric Grenell, a homosexual who is in a so-called “marriage” to a man, of being intimidated by a CNN hit piece that highlighted what the news network called Brown's “anti-gay” rhetoric. Kentucky state legislator abandons sinking Democratic Party Kentucky state Sen. Robin Webb has become so disenchanted with the Democratic Party that she became a Republican, reports The Western Journal. She said, “While it's cliché, it's true: I didn't leave the party — the party left me.” She added, “As the Democratic Party continues its lurch to the left and its hyperfocus on policies that hurt workforce and economic development in my region, I no longer feel it represents my values. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Christian burials denied in Odisha State, India In mid-May, villagers in Odisha State, India opposed the burial of a deceased Christian, reports International Christian Concern. Their claim? A Christian funeral would defile the gods and the land of the village. Sadly, authorities were unable to convince villagers to allow the burial, and the body was taken to another location. Although Christian burials have long been denied in India, these denials are increasingly occurring as a method of persecuting Christians in Odisha State. Three independent investigations conducted in Odisha between March and April pointed to an alarming rise in the number of Christians denied burial rights. The investigations concluded that the absence of state laws allocating burial land for Christians has enabled the trend. FBI investigates leaked Dobbs Supreme Court ruling FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino announced Monday that he and FBI Director Kash Patel are going to “re-open” an investigation into the consequential 2022 leak of the U.S. Supreme Court's Dobbs decision, reports Life News. On May 2, 2022, Politico published a draft of a Supreme Court opinion, authored in February by Justice Samuel Alito, in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization. The official ruling was not released until June 24, 2022. The draft opinion made it evident that the Supreme Court was all but certain to rule in favor of the Mississippi pro-life law at the center of the case. A majority of justices on the Supreme Court were prepared to overturn the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision and the 1992 Planned Parenthood v. Casey decision which had extended broad federal legal protections to the practice of abortion. Politico cited a “person familiar with the court's deliberations” to confirm that Justices Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett had already voted in favor of Alito's opinion following oral arguments in December of 2021, yielding a five-justice majority to strike down Roe and Casey, as the pro-abortion precedents are known. Pro-abortion activists made clear that they intended to target pro-life pregnancy resource centers and Catholic parishes in response to the Dobbs leak. Indeed, more than 100 pro-life centers and churches were firebombed, smashed, ransacked, or vandalized with pro-abortion graffiti and threatening messages, reported Fox News.   Then, five weeks after the Dobbs leak, but before the official ruling was announced, a man flew from California to D.C. with the intention of going on a killing spree. His target? The pro-life Supreme Court justices. Nicholas Roske went to Kavanaugh's house first located in Montgomery County, Maryland. He was armed with a pistol and equipped with gear to break into the justice's house undetected. Appeals court paused block of Trump's retaliatory tariffs A federal appeals court granted the Trump administration's request to temporarily pause the Wednesday ruling of the  U.S. Court of International Trade which struck down most of President Donald Trump's tariffs, reports CNBC. The judges of the trade court had found that the 1970s-era law Trump had invoked to enact those tariffs, the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, does not “confer such unbounded authority” to presidents. The nationwide, permanent block they imposed covered all of the retaliatory tariffs that Trump issued in early April as part of his sweeping “Liberation Day” plan to reshape international trade with the rest of the world. Without a doubt, the Wednesday ruling destabilized a pillar of Trump's economic agenda. Illinois House approves physician-assisted suicide bill And finally, on Thursday, the Illinois House narrowly passed a controversial physician-assisted suicide bill (SB 1950 Amendment 2) by a vote of 63 to 42, with two members cowardly voting “present,” reports the Illinois Family Institute. Oddly enough, 11 state representatives did not cast a vote on the legislation. David Smith, the Executive Director, prayed this prayer on a video which was shared with fellow Christians. SMITH: “I pray, Lord, that many of these lawmakers who are on the fence would choose to err on the side of life and not on death. Lord, I pray that your people would rise up throughout the state of Illinois. I pray that many church leaders would speak up and let their state lawmakers know that this is unacceptable. Illinois should never accept or normalize suicide!” At its April 2025 annual meeting, the Illinois State Medical Society overwhelmingly voted to oppose legalizing physician-assisted suicide. This decision reflects the stance of most Illinois doctors against prescribing lethal medications. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Christianity growing in Asia despite persecution International Christian Concern reports that Christianity is growing in Asia despite severe persecution. In 2024, there were 415 million Christians in Asia, making up 8% of the continent's population. That's up from 3% in 2010. Since 2020, Christianity's growth rate in Asia has been 1.6% per year. The church is growing in Communist, Buddhist, and Islam-dominated countries like China, Laos, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Myanmar. All this growth continues despite persecution in the from of harassment, anti-conversion laws, restrictions on Bibles, arrests, imprisonments, and even violence and murder.  In 2 Corinthians 4:8-10, the Apostle Paul wrote, “We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed .  … persecuted, but not forsaken … always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.” 50% of kids in United Kingdom do not live with both biological parents Research from the Marriage Foundation found that nearly half of children in the United Kingdom do not live with both of their biological parents. The report showed a record 45% of teenagers are not living with both parents by the age of 14.  This trend is not driven by divorce which is at its lowest level since 1970. Instead, family breakdown is driven by a collapse in marriage rates. Harry Benson, the Research Director for the Marriage Foundation, said, “The level of family breakdown in the UK is at epidemic proportions and is set to get worse.” French House voted to legalize assisted suicide France's National Assembly voted in favor of a bill to legalize assisted suicide on Tuesday.  The measure allows adult patients with painful and incurable illness to take a lethal substance. The bill must also pass in France's Senate. Matt Vallière, the Executive Director of the Patients' Rights Action Fund, warned, “The French National Assembly cast a fateful and terrible vote that will put a great many at risk of deadly harm and discrimination under an unprecedented euthanasia regime.” Proverbs 12:10 says, “The tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.” Supremes declines case of Christian kid's t-shirt affirming 2 genders In the United States, the Supreme Court declined to hear a free speech case Tuesday. The case involves a Massachusetts public school student named Liam Morrison. In 2023, he wore a T-shirt to class that said, “There are only 2 genders.” In response, the school banned him from wearing the shirt. The Morrison family challenged the decision; however, the courts ruled against them. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito authored a dissenting opinion to the court's decision to not hear the case. He said the free speech case “presents an issue of great importance for our Nation's youth.” Listen to viral comments from Liam, the boy at the epicenter. He made them before his school board. MORRISON: “What did my shirt say? Five simple words. ‘There are only two genders.' Nothing harmful, nothing threatening. Just a statement I believe to be a fact. “I have been told that my shirt was targeting a protected class. Who is this protected class? Are their feelings more important than my rights? … “Not one person, staff or student, told me that they were bothered by what I was wearing. Actually, just the opposite. Several kids told me that they supported my actions and that they wanted one too.” Defense Secretary Hegseth affirms homeschooling for military families Earlier this month, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth  ordered the department to review how well it supports homeschooling for military families.  The directive follows an executive order from President Donald Trump on supporting school choice in the military.  Hegseth wrote, “Homeschooling offers an individualized approach for students and highlights the significant role parents play in the educational process.” Liberal Presbyterian Church (USA) keeps losing members The Presbyterian Church (USA) lost nearly 50,000 members last year according to its latest report.  The liberal denomination has been losing a similar number of members each year since the COVID-19 pandemic. Their unbiblical stands have cemented their own demise. In 2014, it voted to allow pastors to marry two homosexual men or two lesbians.  Plus, PC(USA) contends that there should be no laws restricting abortion. At its current rate of decline, the PC(USA) will likely fall below one million members this year. Protestors harass Christians promoting Biblically-defined family, sexuality And finally, MayDay USA held a prayer event in Seattle, Washington last Saturday. The group gathers Christians to seek God, proclaim the Gospel, and promote the “sacredness of gender and family as defined by God.” In response, violent rioters, including Antifa members, showed up to harass the Christians. This ended in police making over 20 arrests.  Sadly, Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell blamed the Christians for the violence.  In response, FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino  announced, “We have asked our team to fully investigate allegations of targeted violence against religious groups at the Seattle concert. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Somalian Muslim man trusts Christ and is kicked out of home A young Muslim man in Somalia was kicked out of his home recently after converting to Christianity.  The 20-year-old struggled with substance abuse and had not been home to see his Muslim parents for months. That's when an underground pastor shared the Gospel with him. The young man came to Christ and gained freedom from drug use. After going home, however, his parents drove him away because of his new faith. The young convert told Morning Star News, “Now that I have loved [Jesus], I do not have a family standing with me. I do no not know what to do. I need prayers.” Please pray for this brother in Christ in Somalia, Africa. The country is ranked second on the Open Doors' World Watch List of most difficult places to be a Christian.  In Matthew 19:29, Jesus said, “And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.” French Muslim youth vandalizing Catholic churches and assaulting Catholics The European Conservative reports there have been a string of attacks on churches in France recently which have received little attention from the mainstream media. In one case, Islamic youths insulted a Catholic priest and threatened to set the church building on fire earlier this month. Days earlier, another group disrupted a parish meeting in the same area. Muslim attacks on Catholics have included vandalism, physical assault, and kidnapping. Supremes split decision result: OK religious charter school unfunded In the United States, the Supreme Court delivered a split decision last Thursday in a case involving religious education. Previously, Oklahoma's charter school board had approved funding for St. Isidore of Seville Catholic Virtual School. It would have been the country's first publicly-funded religious charter school.  However, Oklahoma's Supreme Court blocked the school. And the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 4-4 in the case, leaving the lower court ruling in place.  For some reason, conservative Justice Amy Coney Barrett recused herself from the case.  Defense Secretary Hegseth: "“King Jesus, we come humbly before You." U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth led a prayer meeting at the Pentagon last Wednesday. Listen to his opening prayer. HEGSETH: “If you would bow your head in prayer. “King Jesus, we come humbly before You, seeking Your face, seeking Your grace, in humble obedience to your law and to Your Word. We come as sinners, saved only by that grace, seeking Your providence in our lives and in our nation. “Lord God, we ask for the wisdom to see what is right, and in each and every day, in each and every circumstance, the courage to do what is right in obedience to Your will. “It is in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that we pray. And all God's people said, Amen. Thank you.” The voluntary 30-minute prayer meeting was called “Secretary of Defense Christian Prayer & Worship Service.” Hegseth said it may become a monthly event.  Colossians 4:2 says, “Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving.” Planned Parenthood to close 8 abortion mills in Iowa and Minnesota Last Friday, Planned Parenthood North Central States announced it will close eight locations across Iowa and Minnesota over the next year. Planned Parenthood blamed the closures on states passing anti-abortion laws as well as a freeze on federal funding for abortion. The closures will also involve laying off 66 staff members. CDC no longer recommends COVID-19 shot for pregnant women & kids The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will no longer recommend COVID-19 shots for pregnant women and healthy children. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made the announcement yesterday. KENNEDY: “Hi everybody. I'm Robert F. Kennedy, Jr, your HHS Secretary.  And I'm here with NIH Director Dr. Jay Bhattacharya and FDA Commissioner Dr. Marty MaKary. “I couldn't be more pleased to announce that, as of today, the COVID vaccine for healthy children and healthy pregnant women has been removed from the CDC-recommended immunization schedule. Last year, the Biden administration urged healthy children to get yet another COVID shot, despite the lack of any clinical data to support the repeat booster strategy in children! BHATTACHARYA: “That ends today. It's common sense and it's good science.” MAKARY: “There's no evidence healthy kids need it today. And most countries have stopped recommending it for children.” KENNEDY: “We're now one step closer to realizing President Trump's promise to make America healthy again.” Lawmakers want to launch “Natural Family Month” Republican lawmakers in Ohio are considering a bill to celebrate families. The measure would designate the weeks from Mother's Day to Father's Day as “Natural Family Month.” The timeframe goes from the second Sunday in May to the third Sunday in June. This contrasts with Homosexual/Transgender Pride Month when many celebrate sexually perverted lifestyles in June. 1,500-year-old Christian graves in Israel discovered And finally, archaeologists recently uncovered 1,500-year-old Christian graves in Israel's Negev Desert. The graves reflect Christian burial practices. Inside, archaeologists found rare ebony figurines depicting individuals with African features. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Trump delegation investigates violations of free speech in U.K. The Trump administration has sent a delegation  to investigate the violations of free speech in the United Kingdom. They met with five people who have been arrested, and even convicted, of praying silently near abortion mills in Glasgow, Scotland as well as Birmingham and Bournemouth, England. At issue is the U.K.'s equating protesting near abortion clinics with silent prayer, and the government's antipathy towards pro-lifers expressing their opinions about killing children.  Only 39% of Americans “extremely proud” of citizenship Are Americans losing a sense of patriotism?  A 2023 Gallup Survey found only 39% of Americans are “Extremely Proud” of their citizenship status.  And a Wall Street Journal/National Opinion Research Center survey found the percentage of Americans who considered patriotism “very important” has dropped from 70% in 1998 to 38% in 2023.  Keep in mind Isaiah 40:5-7. It says, “Behold, the nations are as a drop in a bucket, and are counted as the small dust on the scales; look, [the Lord] lifts up the isles as a very little thing. And Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor its beasts sufficient for a burnt offering. All nations before Him are as nothing, and they are counted by Him less than nothing and worthless.” Russia launched largest aerial attack on Ukraine since war's start Russia launched  298 drones and 69 missiles on Kiev over the weekend, reports the Associated Press. It was the largest aerial attack on the capital of Ukraine since the beginning of the 3-year war. Altogether, Russia sent 900 drones into Ukraine over the weekend. President Trump responded on his Truth Social account calling Putin “absolutely crazy,” reports The Financial Times. TRUMP: “I'm not happy with what [Russian President Vladimir] Putin is doing. He's killing a lot of people. I don't know what happened to Putin. I've known him a long time. Always gotten along with him, but he's sending rockets into cities and killing people, and I don't like it at all. Okay? We're in the middle of talking, and he's shooting rockets into Kiev and other cities. I don't like it at all.” And Trump warned that any attempt on the part of Russia to take all of Ukraine would "lead to the downfall of Russia.”  Trump's “Big Beautiful Bill” goes to the Senate As The Worldview reported on Friday, Trump's “Big, Beautiful Bill” passed the House of Representatives by a single vote on Thursday.   The major highlights of the bill include tax cuts, the elimination of $700 million of Planned Parenthood funding, a national private school dollar-for-dollar tax credit to scholarship donors, and an expanded child tax credit. If you have not yet called your two Senators, call them TODAY at 202-224-3121 and ask them to DEFUND Planned Parenthood. We can expect maybe even a bigger fight in the Senate over the spending bill. Republican Senators are split on the bill.  Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri does not want to cut Medicaid spending.  And Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky described the spending cuts this way.  PAUL: “I support spending cuts. I think the cuts currently in the bill are wimpy and anemic.” Texas legislature passed Ten Commandments bill on Sabbath The Texas legislature has approved a bill requiring the posting of the Ten Commandments in public schools throughout the state come September. Ironically, they passed the bill on the Sabbath, breaking the fourth commandment! The bill heads back to the Senate, after which Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott is expected to sign it into law. A similar law, enacted recently in Louisiana, is hung up in a federal court. Oregon has more elderly than children The state of Oregon's demographics are not doing well. The state now has more elderly over 65 years of age than children under 18 years of age, presenting a demographic challenge, reports The Oregonian.  In 1985, there were twice as many children as elderly. At this rate, in 10 more years, Oregon will have 40% more seniors than children.   The state holds the position as the eighth worst demographic in the nation. The other states are located on the eastern seaboard. Oregon was the first state to legalize physician-assisted suicide. That was in 1994. Here is what God says in Deuteronomy 30:19. “I call Heaven and Earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.” 500,000 new homes are on the market The U.S. construction industry should beware!   Inventory of new homes has reached 2007 levels — now 500,000 on the market, up from 150,000 homes in 2012. America is most generous nation America is the most generous nation in the world, by a long shot.   That's the conclusion in the most recent Global Philanthropy Report produced by the Lilly Foundation.    The US is the highest charitable contributor to other nations, by percentage of gross national income. With a total of $50 billion of philanthropic outflow, Americans contribute 70% of the world's philanthropic outflow to other nations, whereas it only makes up 4% of the world's population. Other generous nations included the UK, Germany, Canada, Switzerland, France, Netherlands, Australia, and South Korea.  The late Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty proclaimed Jesus And finally, Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame has died at the age of 79. His family announced Sunday that he has gone to be with the Lord.  Willie and Korie Robertson Instagrammed that “He reminded us often of the words of Paul.  ‘You do not grieve like those who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him.'” Phil said, “When I die, don't cry. Sing. Dance. I said, ‘Yeah, I got it coming.' “I said, ‘By the way, why do you keep cursing the only One that could save you from death?' It was silence.  He said, ‘Hey, send me my duck call.'  (Dial tone. He hung up). “Well, about 10 minutes went by and the phone rang. He said, ‘Hey, it's me again. You know what? I never thought about that.' I said, ‘Well, you're cursing Him. Unless He can get you out of here alive, I don't know no one else that could. You know what you ought to do. You ought to come over here and I'll tell you about the One you're cursing. You may change your mind.' He said, ‘I might do that.' I said, ‘Well, you ought to.'  Well a week goes by, knock on the door, he steps in the door, and he said, ‘I'm the one that was cursing God. And you told me you're going to show me why I shouldn't.' “So, I told him about Jesus. He was converted. About 15 or 20 years later, I ran into him, and he was one of the leaders at that church where I was speaking. Last week, Oregon State Police, joined by multiple state and local agencies, completed a search of a roadside zoo in Bandon on the Southern Oregon Coast. More than 300 animals were seized and relocated to animal sanctuaries or rescue facilities. Three animals, including a camel, were euthanized because they were determined to be in such poor health they could not be transported or treated, according to OSP. The Oregon Humane Society, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office, the Oregon Department of Agriculture and the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife assisted OSP with the four-day search and criminal investigation, which is ongoing. The now-closed West Coast Game Park Safari opened in 1972 and lured visitors with a chance to encounter exotic animals like tigers, lions, chimpanzees and emus. Over the years, it had garnered numerous complaints from community members and organizations like People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals over suspected animal neglect and possible violations of state wildlife regulations. Inspectors at the Department of Agriculture cited the roadside zoo 78 times in the past year alone for animals that had gone missing, appeared underfed or were denied adequate veterinary care, among other violations of the Animal Welfare Act.  Jefferson Public Radio reporter Justin Higginbottom has been following this story and joins us with more details.

The first distribution point operated by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation begins operations in the Strip today. This comes as its CEO Jake Wood resigned suddenly last night, saying it was “clear that it is not possible to implement this plan while also strictly adhering to the humanitarian principles of humanity, neutrality, impartiality, and independence.” We hear how the mechanism is being implemented. Israeli troops stationed at an army post near the Gaza border community of Kissufim on the morning of October 7, 2023, rushed to defend the kibbutz as Hamas terrorists began their terror onslaught. The forces, along with the kibbutz’s civil defense squad, managed to fight back against many of the terrorists, preventing them from rampaging throughout the entire community. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Armenian Christian details abuses in Iranian prison Hakop Gochumyan, an Armenian Christian arrested in Iran in 2023 for his Christian faith, recently sent a letter to Christian Solidarity Worldwide detailing abuses he's endured while imprisoned, reports International Christian Concern.  In the letter, published on May 9, Gochumyan explained that Iranian authorities have “subjected [him] to psychological violence” and threatened to take his life and the lives of his family.  Mervyn Thomas, president and founder of Christian Solidarity Worldwide, called for “Gochumiyan's immediate and unconditional release” and rallied the “international community … to hold Iranian authorities to account” for their human rights abuses.  Gochumyan was detained just outside of Tehran, in Pardis, in August 2023 and sentenced to 10 years in prison in February 2024. His charges include “engaging in deviant proselytizing activity that contradicts the sacred law of Islam” by allegedly associating with “a network of evangelical Christianity.”  The couple, along with their two children, were in Iran to visit family and, while attending a dinner at a friend's house, police arrived, and arrested them. Allegedly, Gochumyan possessed copies of Farsi-language New Testaments, which are banned in Iran, and had attended several churches during his visit.  Spreading the Gospel of Christ to non-Christians is illegal in Iran. Additionally, possessing Bibles written in Farsi, the nation's official language, isn't allowed as it could draw a non-Christian to Jesus. Christian conversion is something the Iranian regime strongly discourages and attempts to dissuade, often through psychological manipulation, overt intimidation, physical abuse, and imprisonment.  However, the light of Christ continues to shine in the region and cannot be extinguished. In John 8:12, Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Trump vows a 25% tariff on iPhones if made in China or India President Donald Trump vowed to enact “at least” a 25% tariff on iPhones that are not manufactured and built in the United States — in a sharp warning to Apple CEO Tim Cook, reports One America News. Apple currently manufactures the majority of its iPhones in China, and does not have a domestic smartphone production supply chain.  Apple announced a move to India in an effort to “diversify its supply chain and reduce reliance on China.” But Trump wants the iPhones built here in America. Judge overturns Biden rule forcing employers to allow time off for abortions A federal judge in Louisiana has struck down regulations that would have forced most U.S. employers to provide pregnant workers with time off to kill their babies by abortion, reports LifeNews.com. Issued Wednesday by U.S. District Judge David Joseph, the ruling invalidated a provision of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's regulations under the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, which had been pushed during the Biden administration. Initially, the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, which passed with bipartisan support in December 2022, was designed to ensure that employers, with 15 or more employees, provide reasonable accommodations for pregnant workers, such as time off for medical appointments or relief from heavy lifting. However, the Biden administration, to its shame, twisted the initial intent of the law to classify abortion as a “related medical condition” to pregnancy and childbirth. That forced pro-life employers to facilitate the termination of unborn lives against their moral and religious convictions. Alaskan volcano could blow Located 80 miles from Anchorage, Alaska, Mount Spurr is about to blow, reports the Alaska Volcano Observatory. The last time it blew was 1992. If you're picturing massive lava flows, think again, explains Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.  The biggest threat will actually be the ash which could reach as high as 50,000 feet into the sky, according to DailyGalaxy.com.    Volcanic ash could blanket Anchorage. If the eruption happens during daylight, the ash cloud could block out the sun for hours, plunging the area into total darkness. Ash is dangerous to breathe. It damages cars and machinery and can disrupt daily life.   And then there's air travel. Ash could rise high into the atmosphere, and the tiny glass-like particles, can reharden inside jet engines, posing a serious threat. Since Alaska's airspace is a major route for Trans Pacific flights, this eruption could affect a lot more people than just those in Anchorage, including flights from Toronto to Seoul or Hong Kong to Memphis. Psalm 95:4-5 reminds us that God, Who created Mount Spurr, is in control. “In His hand are the depths of the Earth, and the mountain peaks belong to Him. The sea is His, for He made it, and His hands formed the dry land.” Tapper confessed: Conservative media was right about Biden's decline And finally, in an intriguing interview with Megyn Kelly, CNN's Jake Tapper confessed that “conservative media was right” about Biden's dramatic mental decline. Tapper's new book is entitled, Original Sin: President Biden's Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again. Listen. KELLY: “Leading up to the debate which you anchored, that June 27 debate, 2024 there was a ton of news leading into that debate in that month. We looked back at your coverage and found that you ignored the freeze up that he had at the Juneteenth Celebration. You ignored what happened at the G7 when he, [Biden], wandered off and Giorgia Meloni, Prime Minister of Italy, had to go find him." TAPPER: “Megyn,” KELLY: “You ignored the freeze up at the George Clooney L.A. fundraiser. You didn't cover it. You only covered it after the debate, after George Clooney wrote his op-ed. Your network at every turn was telling us those were, ‘cheap fakes.'  And you're not combating that narrative. CNN was actively misleading us on what our very eyes were showing us. That's the truth. That's the record.” TAPPER: “I will acknowledge that after I was named co-moderator of the [presidential] debate, I tried to make sure that my coverage was fairly vanilla, both about Trump and about Biden, because I just wanted to get to the debate. I remember that moment, the glitch at the immigration event, and not getting much attention outside of conservative media at all. “Alex and I are here to say the conservative media was right and conservative media was correct. There should be a lot of soul searching, not just among me, but among the legacy media to begin with, all of us, for how this was covered or not covered sufficiently. 100%. I mean, I'm not here to defend coverage that I've already acknowledged I wish I could do differently.” Prior to the release of this book, CNN's Jake Tapper, in his refusal to tell the truth about Biden's mental decline, did not heed the commandment found in Exodus 20:16. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Nigerian Muslims killed 23 farmers and fishermen On May 15th, armed fighters from a terrorist group, called the Islamic State West Africa Province, killed 23 farmers and fishermen in Nigeria's Borno State, reports International Christian Concern. The victims, mostly bean farmers from Gwoza, had traveled to the area to work on land under insurgent control. Eighteen other people were abducted during the attack, and their whereabouts remain unknown. More German youth believe in personal God than their elders The Youth in Germany study shows that 31% of 14 to 29-year-olds believe in a personal God, compared to 25% of 30 to 49-year-olds, and 24% of 50 to 69-year-olds, reports Evangelical Focus. 2 Israeli Embassy officials murdered in Washington, D.C. Two staff members of the Israeli Embassy in Washington D.C. — a young couple on the verge of becoming engaged — were fatally shot Wednesday evening at 9:15pm while leaving a Young Diplomats Reception on humanitarian aid, hosted by the American Jewish Committee at the Capital Jewish Museum. Paige Siegel was an attendee that night. SIEGEL: “The event ends around nine o'clock, and at 9:07 I hear a first batch of gunshots go off, like, right outside. And this was an event that you had to register in advance for. You had to check in with your ID. You had to get wanded. There was security. The first round of gunshots go off. And I was like, those were gunshots.” Elias Rodriguez, age 31, of Chicago shouted “Free Palestine” as he was led away after his arrest, according to charging documents.   According to the New York Post, Rodriguez posted “Death to Israel” and “Death to America” as well as praise for the health care CEO killer Luigi Mangione. Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar identified the victims as Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the tragedy. NETANYAHU: “Yaron had just bought an engagement ring for Sarah. He was planning to give it to her in Jerusalem next week. They were planning to start a new and happy life together. Well, that tragically did not happen. “Yaron and Sarah weren't the victims of a random crime. The terrorist who cruelly gunned them down did so for one reason and one reason alone. He wanted to kill Jews. And as he was taken away, he chanted, ‘Free, Palestine!' This is exactly the same chant we heard on October 7th. “On that day, thousands of terrorists stormed into Israel from Gaza. They beheaded men, they raped women, they burned babies alive, they butchered 1,200 innocent people, and took 251 innocent people hostage to the dungeons of Gaza. “A short time afterwards, Chancellor [Olaf] Scholz of Germany visited Israel, and after he saw the horrors, he said to me, ‘These Hamas terrorists are exactly like the Nazis!' He was right.” Yaron was not only eager to propose to Sarah next week, but was excited to return to Israel to be with his family for the Jewish holiday of Shavuot. Ron Prosor, a teacher at Israel's Reichman University, described Yaron this way. “He was a Christian, a true lover of Israel, served in the [Israel Defense Forces], and chose to dedicate his life to the State of Israel and the Zionist cause.” Siegel, one of the young Israelis at the event, expressed anxiety. SIEGEL: “I don't know how, how Jewish people can be protected in America right now. I mean, this is just crazy. There were security guards all over the building. What else can we do to protect ourselves?” Jeanine Pirro, the interim U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, said, “Violence against anyone based on their religion is an act of cowardice. It is not an act of a hero. Antisemitism will not be tolerated, especially in the nation's capital.” Department of Government Efficiency saved $170 billion The Department of Government Efficiency has saved the American people $170 billion by cutting waste, abuse, and fraud. That's a savings per taxpayer of $1,055.90. House DEFUNDED Planned Parenthood by a single vote And finally, just before 7:00am on Thursday, May 22nd, the House passed the budget bill with a 10-year ban on funding Planned Parenthood, 215-214, with one member voting present. Now this bill heads to the Senate, reports LifeNews.com. In light of the fact that Planned Parenthood killed 402,230 baby boys and girls last year with $792 million of taxpayer money, that's extraordinary! Leading up to that vote, the U.S. House Rules Committee convened a hearing, working tirelessly to finish negotiations on amendments to the budget bill. This hearing continued for more than 21 hours straight! High-ranking Democrats, who were not even on the committee, were paraded through the committee hearing, one by one, to propose amendments to the funding bill. Some of these members included Democrat Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Democrat House Whip Katherine Clark, and even former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. One of the top issues Democrats pressed for hours was increasing welfare with no work requirements — and continued funding for Planned Parenthood, reports Liberty Council Action. Minority Leader Jeffries claimed that this was “the largest cut to health care in American history.” Newsflash — killing children is not “health care.” Isaiah 59:7 describes the Democrats' perspective on life in the womb to a “t.” “Their feet rush into sin; they are swift to shed innocent blood. They pursue evil schemes; acts of violence mark their ways.” This passage of the bill in the House is a huge victory​! We must ​keep up the intensity to pass this bill in the Senate. Call your two Senators at 202-224-3121 today. This battle to defund Planned Parenthood has been lost previously in the Senate or in reconciliation the House and Senate versions afterwards. Sadly, the Senate has strong advocates for Planned Parenthood. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Pakistani Muslim man abducted, forcibly converted, and “married” Christian teen A Christian 15-year-old girl in Pakistan reunited with her parents yesterday after being abducted five months ago. A 29-year-old Muslim man, Muhammad Anees, kidnapped her with four other men from her aunt's home, forcibly converted her to Islam, and married her. The girl suffered abuse for months and is now pregnant.  Attorney Hanif Hameed told Morning Star News, “This is a clear case of false conversion and fake marriage to cover the crime of abduction and rape.” Sadly, such cases are increasing in the South Asian country. Pakistan is ranked eighth on the Open Doors' World Watch List of nations where it is most difficult to be a Christian.  Billy Graham Association to host evangelism meeting in Germany The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is hosting the largest meeting on evangelism in 25 years in Berlin, Germany later this month. It's the same location that Rev. Billy Graham held the first World Congress on Evangelism in 1966. Evangelist Franklin Graham is focusing the upcoming event on the church in Europe. Listen to his comments to CBN News. GRAHAM: “We want to ignite a fire in Europe to where there's an excitement for evangelism and the churches are willing to be bold and not ashamed of the Gospel. “We've got Ukrainian churches coming. We have churches coming from Russia. You know, some say, ‘These countries are at war.'  Yes, they are, but the Gospel is more powerful than any of that stuff.” In Romans 1:16, the Apostle Paul wrote, “I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes.” Trump announces “Golden Dome” missile defense system U.S. President Donald Trump announced plans for a $175 billion missile defense system on Tuesday. U.S. Space Force General Michael Guetlein is leading the project, known as the “Golden Dome.”  Trump said the system should be completed in about three years. Defunding Planned Parenthood remains in Trump's budget bill A handful of conservative Republicans, who hesitated to support Trump's “big, beautiful bill,” appear ready to support the massive package after a furious pressure campaign from President Trump and Speaker Mike Johnson, reports The Hill. After meeting with Trump at the White House on Wednesday afternoon, and then huddling together afterward on Capitol Hill, the members of the conservative Freedom Caucus emerged to say they're on the cusp of supporting the package — if a laundry list of changes promised by the White House is reflected in the final proposal. Their newfound enthusiasm appears to stem from assurances Trump and Johnson made during the White House meeting, including a promise from the president to issue more executive orders addressing some of the spending concerns the conservatives couldn't secure in the legislation, and expanding the rollback of green energy tax credits enacted in the Democrats' 2022 Inflation Reduction Act.  The bill seeks to deliver on Trump's key campaign promises, including making permanent Trump's 2017 tax cuts and eliminating taxes on tips.  And, thanks in part to the calls of Worldview listeners, the defunding of Planned Parenthood remains in the bill. Court: Florida should require parental consent for a minor's abortion Last Friday, a federal appeals court ruled against a Florida law that allows minors to get abortions without parental consent. A three-judge panel of the U.S. Fifth District Court of Appeals ruled that the law was unconstitutional and violated parental rights. The decision stated, “Whatever asserted constitutional abortion rights may have justified Florida's [law] in the past unequivocally have been repudiated by both the U.S. Supreme Court and the Florida Supreme Court.” Married, employed, church-attending people happier Harvard University recently published their Global Flourishing Study which surveyed 200,000 people across 22 countries over the past five years. The study found people experienced higher levels of wellbeing when married, employed, and attending religious services. Professor Tyler VanderWeele led the research. He noted, “Religious service attendance was one of the factors most consistently associated with present or subsequent wellbeing, across countries and across outcomes.” Anniversary of First Council of Nicaea And finally, this month marks the anniversary of the First Council of Nicaea, 1,700 years ago. In May A.D. 325, about 300 Christian leaders convened in the city of Nicaea, located in modern-day Turkey.  The council dealt with the doctrine of the Trinity. In particular, the church at the time had to refute the heresy of Arianism, which denied that Jesus is fully and eternally divine.  The council went on to affirm the Trinity and Christ as fully God in the Nicene Creed. It is recited by churches worldwide to this day.  The creed affirms there is “one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds; God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God; begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by Whom all things were made.” John 1:1 and 4 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ... (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Adam McManus British national Muslim fighters committed war crimes A recent report from the U.K. parliament found that hundreds of Islamic fighters have returned to England without facing prosecution. British nationals joined the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria between 2014 and 2019. The group targeted religious minorities and committed many war crimes. Since then, over 400 Islamic State fighters have returned to the U.K. However, the country's government has not prosecuted any of them for international crimes. Christians have faced high levels of persecution from Islamic fighters in Iraq and Syria. Both countries are ranked on the Open Doors' World Watch List of nations where it is most dangerous to be a Christian.  Ecclesiastes 8:11-12 says, “Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged, yet I surely know that it will be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him.” Trump to Putin: “When are we going to end this bloodbath?” U.S. President Donald Trump spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin about the war in Ukraine on Monday. Trump said Russia and Ukraine would immediately start negotiations toward a ceasefire. He noted that the new Roman Catholic pope, Leo XIV, has offered to host the talks at the Vatican. President Trump warned that the United States would back out of the situation if both sides can't reach an agreement. Listen. TRUMP: “I said, ‘When are we going to end this Vladimir?' I've known him for a long time now. I said, ‘When are we going to end this blood bath?' It's a blood bath. I think it'd be great to have it at the Vatican. There's tremendous bitterness, anger, and I think maybe that could help some of that anger.” Trump dropped $37 million fine against Christian University The Trump administration dropped a $37 million fine against the largest Christian university in America Initially, Biden's Department of Education leveled the fine against Grand Canyon University. Brian Mueller, the president of the university, said, “The facts clearly support our contention that we were wrongly accused of misleading our Doctoral students and we appreciate the recognition that those accusations were without merit.” Ellen Keast, an Education Department spokeswoman, noted, “Unlike the previous administration, we will not persecute and prosecute colleges and universities based on their religious affiliation.” FDA discouraging young, healthy Americans from getting COVID shot On Tuesday, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced new rules for its approval of COVID-19 shots. The FDA said it will require more research before approving yearly COVID-19 boosters for young, healthy Americans.  The shots will still be approved for adults over 65 and for people with health problems that put them at higher risk. FDA officials noted, “The FDA will approve vaccines for high-risk persons and, at the same time, demand robust, gold-standard data on persons at low risk.” Man kills self, injured 4 outside in vitro clinic On Saturday, a car bomb was detonated outside an in vitro fertilization clinic called the American Reproductive Center in Los Angeles.  The blast killed 25-year-old suspect Guy Edward Bartkus and injured four other people. The in vitro fertilization facility was damaged, but the embryos stored inside were saved. Bartkus reportedly left behind a manifesto on a website. In it, he said he wanted to start “a war against pro-lifers” and “begin the process of sterilizing this planet of the disease of life.” Urge 19 Republican Congressmen to DEFUND Planned Parenthood Today, the House Rules Committee will have a hearing and vote on President Trump's “big, beautiful bill” to determine what budget items go to the House floor. If even a single amendment is added, the momentum we've built to stop funding Planned Parenthood and Big Abortion could vanish, reports Liberty Counsel Action. This is the last vote before the bill is placed on the House floor. Two conservative Republicans who voted “present” on Sunday night are also on the Rules Committee. The full House could vote on this bill as early as later today. Remember, there are 220 Republicans and 213 Democrats. Because the GOP majority is so slim, we need every one of them. Three moderate House Republicans are carrying the water for Planned Parenthood and pushing House leaders to continue funding the Murder Giant. Those three pro-abortion Republican Representatives include Mike Lawler (R-NY), Jen Kiggans (R-VA), and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA). She was 91. In an announcement on the Precept website, her ministry said,  Kay “will be remembered for her love for the Lord, His Word, and His people.” A prolific author, Arthur wrote more than 100 books and Bible studies over her lifetime including her bestseller, Lord, Teach Me to Study the Bible in 28 Days.  ARTHUR: “People need to discover truth for themselves because God promises in His word that He has given us everything that pertains, not only to life, but also to godliness, so that we might be fitted for every good work, so that nothing can come our way and throw us. “God is doing a work in their lives because the only text that they are looking at is the Bible, which is alive and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword. It's a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. It is a light unto our path. It's the very Word by which we live. It's the Sword by which we stand against the enemy." (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Fulani Muslim killed 15 unarmed Nigerian Christians On Saturday, May 17th, armed Fulani Muslim militia opened fire on Agatu Christians in Benue State, Nigeria, killing 15 unarmed men. Throughout that North Central region, the Fulani have also killed 159 Christian residents over the last 40 days, according to TruthNigeria.com.   Pray for Christians in Nigeria, suffering the most severe violence in the world today. Romania turns left after election interference On Sunday, Romania has taken the centrist-left position with the election of a new president named Nicușor Dan. Dan is supportive of Romania's participation in the European Union, and has made moves to approve the homosexual/transgender movement in his country. The more conservative candidate, George-Nicolae Simion, lost the election in a vote of 54% to 46%. Romania is the second largest Eastern European country by population.  The mainstream media is interpreting this election as an international rejection of the Trump agenda.  The back story is that Călin Georgescu, the conservative in the first round of the Romanian presidential election last December, garnered the most votes among the six presidential candidates at that time. After his opponents claimed that Russia had influenced the election through TikTok accounts, Romanian government officials detained Georgescu, canceled that election, and re-set it for May 18th.  Tens of thousands of Romanians protested in the streets back in March. At the time, Elon Musk said, “They just arrested the person who won the most votes in the Romanian presidential election. This is messed up.” Most and least benevolent countries According to this year's Gallup World Happiness Report, the most benevolent countries in the world, judged by donations and volunteer hours, are Indonesia, the United States, Kenya, Gambia, United Arab Emirates, Ireland, Canada, and New Zealand. The least benevolent countries are Afghanistan, Yemen, Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco.  Biden announces advanced prostate cancer Former President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with an "aggressive form" of prostate cancer that has spread to his bones, reports CBS News. On Sunday, President Trump posted on social media that he and First Lady Melania Trump are "saddened to hear about Joe Biden's recent medical diagnosis." Appearing on MSNBC's “Morning Joe” on Monday, former Obama health advisor Dr. Zeke Emanuel said the cancer is so advanced, he has had it for many years. SCARBOROUGH: “Doesn't it take some time for prostate cancer to develop to a point where it would spread to the bones?” EMANUEL: “He's had this for many years, maybe even a decade, growing there and spreading.” Dr. Emanuel explained how serious Biden's prostate cancer truly is. EMANUEL: “That Gleason score, that score is from 2 up to 10, and he's at a 9. That means that the cancer doesn't look normal. It looks very abnormal.” Appearing on Fox News with Jesse Waters, talk show host Hugh Hewitt was incredulous. HEWITT: “This is the fourth time, in a little over 100 years, that a Democratic president -- Woodrow Wilson, FDR, John F. Kennedy and now Joe Biden, have hidden crucial details about their health as Commander-in-Chief from the American people. Ronald Reagan did not do that. “And it just astonishes me that in a free republic, we have to worry about our leaders telling us whether they're healthy or not.” Supremes allows Trump to revoke protection for thousands of illegal Venezuelans On Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court issued a ruling allowing the Trump administration to deport 350,000 Venezuelans who are presently living in the U.S. on what they call a “humanitarian parole,” reports NBC News. Christian camp sues over foolish transgender mandates The State of Colorado is threatening to shut down a Christian Camp called Idrahaje -- short for “I'd Rather Have Jesus.” The Colorado Department of Early Childhood has refused to grant the camp a religious exemption concerning its transgender policies. This would require the camp to allow boys, pretending to be girls, to sleep, shower, and dress with female campers. The camp has sued the state, with representation from Alliance Defending Freedom. The camp disciples 2,500 to 3,000 students each year with the mission to “win souls to Jesus Christ through the spreading of the Gospel.”  Camp Idrahaje has complied with all regulations until this year when the Colorado government officials released new gender identity rules that became effective on February 14, 2025. 96% of atheists embrace homosexual/transgender agenda The most likely group in America to support the homosexual/transgender agenda are atheists with 96% professing support.  By contrast, 70% of white Evangelical Protestants oppose the lifestyle. Psalm 14:1 describes the atheist this way: "The fool has said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works.” Mother loses right to disciple daughter Liberty Counsel is defending a mother in the state of Maine who has lost the right to guide the religious upbringing of her 11-year-old girl in a custody case.  This includes taking her daughter to Calvary Chapel services on Sunday.   A state district judge has ruled against the mother, citing “The ‘fear mongering,' paranoia, and anxiety taught by Calvary Chapel has, more likely than not, already had an impact on [the daughter's] childhood development.”   Expert testimony concluded that Calvary Chapel is a cult, the church's pastor a “charismatic” speaker, who spoke “authoritatively” in his messages, and that he asserted his messages were objective truth.   Liberty Counsel is appealing the case to the Maine Supreme Court. They still persecute people who preach about Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 2:14-16 says, “For you also suffered the same things from your own countrymen, just as they did from the Judeans, who killed both the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they do not please God and are contrary to all men, forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they may be saved, so as always to fill up the measure of their sins; but wrath has come upon them to the uttermost.” Housing prices sag Since June 2022, housing prices are sagging in some metro areas around the U.S. — 22.8% in the Austin market, 9.9% in the Phoenix market, 9.2% in the San Francisco market, 9.1% in the San Antonio Market, 7.3% in the Denver market, and 6.7% in the Dallas Market. The Consumer Price Index has also risen about 10% over that period of time. Moody's downgraded America's financial rating And finally, in a year-over-year comparison, the U.S. government is still breaking records for fiscal expenditures running 10% over Fiscal Year 2024. Moody's has downgraded the U.S. as a long-term issuer of bonds by one notch, ending a perfect rating for America over the last 108 years.  No longer does the U.S, government get a Aaa rating, the highest level available. Now, it's an Aa1.
