(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark European country of Monaco expelled Swiss evangelist Evangelical Focus reports officials in Monaco recently detained and then expelled a Swiss evangelist without much explanation. Monaco is a sovereign city-state in Western Europe, bordered by France to the north, east, and west, with the Mediterranean Sea to the south. Stephan Maag has shared the gospel on streets across 28 European countries. He's known for carrying an 80-pound collapsible cross, generating conversations about Jesus. His evangelistic walks were well-received until he visited Monaco, a microstate in south-eastern France. Police detained Maag, telling him what he was doing was not allowed there. They even told him his cross was too big! The evangelist said, “Nothing like this has ever happened to us in Europe.” In Romans 1:16, the Apostle Paul wrote, “I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes.” Germany beefs up security for iconic Christmas markets German cities are tightening security in preparation for opening their iconic Christmas markets this year. Renardo Schlegelmilch with Germany's largest Catholic radio station said, “There are more than 3,000 Christmas markets every year in Germany, with around 170 million visitors — more than twice the population of the country. They set the tone of Advent, even for people who are not active in the Church.” The security cost for this centuries-old tradition has skyrocketed in recent years. Security concerns have risen since 2016 when an Islamic extremist drove a truck into a Berlin Christmas market, killing 12 people. Mississippi evangelist makes case before Supreme Court The U.S. Supreme Court heard a case involving a Mississippi evangelist yesterday. Gabriel Olivier is an evangelical Christian who desires to share his faith with others. However, the City of Brandon, Mississippi passed an ordinance to effectively silence his evangelism. Lower courts sided with the city. Now, First Liberty Institute is representing Gabriel before the U.S. Supreme Court. The group noted, “Gabe's case could overturn decades of bad precedent in the lower courts. A clarifying opinion from the Supreme Court will bolster the rights and religious freedom of millions.” More U.S. soldiers identify with Christ while U.S. more secular U.S. military members are becoming more religious even as America becomes more secular. That's according to a study by Ryan Burge, a professor at Washington University in St. Louis. The study compared 18- to 45-year-olds in the military and outside the military. Members of the military are more likely to identify as Christians than the rest of the population. Military members are also more likely than civilians to attend church. And church attendance in the military has actually increased over the past 12 years. U.S. military abortions are down The Dallas Express reports that military abortions are down to their lowest level in five years. The military's TRICARE health service program covered five abortions this year as of June, down from 49 abortions in 2021.  This follows efforts by President Donald Trump to cancel abortion-related policies.  Although taxpayer-funded abortions at military facilities are down, the general use of medication-induced abortions has skyrocketed in recent years. Republicans won Tennessee special House of Reps. election The Grand Old Party won the special election for Tennessee's 7th Congressional District on Tuesday.  Republican Matt Van Epps beat Democrat Aftyn Behn by nine percentage points with 53.9% of the vote, reports the Nashville Banner. The victory means Republicans will have a 220-213 majority in the U.S. House of Representatives.  Listen to comments from Epps, thanking God and his supporters for the victory. EPPS: “We did it. Thank you all. This is just an incredible win. Tonight, you've sent a message, loud and clear. The people of Middle Tennessee stand with President Donald J. Trump. First and foremost, I want to thank God for His guidance and grace every step of the way.” Martyred U.S. medical missionary in Congo featured on Time in 1964 And finally, medical missionary Paul Carlson appeared on the covers of Time Magazine and Life Magazine on December 4, 1964, sixty-one years ago today. The successful doctor left a comfortable life in California to be a missionary in Africa. Carlson arrived in the Congo with his wife and two children in 1963. He continued to care for people despite political unrest. However, communist-inspired rebels eventually arrested him and falsely accused him of being an American spy. On November 24, 1964, the rebels opened fire on a group of prisoners, including Carlson. He died helping other prisoners escape the onslaught. Carlson's wife, Lois, carried on her husband's work, supporting medical care and education in the area. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Thailand orders Christian back to Vietnam to likely torture Last Wednesday, a court in Thailand ordered that a Christian activist and asylum seeker must be sent back to Vietnam. Y Quynh Bdap, the co-founder of Montagnards Stand for Justice, faces a 10-year sentence in Vietnam for alleged anti-Communist activities.   International Christian Concern noted, “If extradited to Vietnam, he will likely face torture, violence, and imprisonment. … This will set a dangerous precedent for the thousands of other Christian refugees in Thailand who could also be extradited to their home country, where they fled persecution.” According to Open Doors, Vietnam is the 47th most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. Flooding and landslides in Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Thailand Monsoon rains brought catastrophic flooding and landslides to Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Thailand last week. The death toll has surpassed 1,300, and nearly a thousand people are missing. The National Christian Evangelical Alliance of Sri Lanka is distributing emergency aid to pastors and Christian workers in the country. The group said the flooding has been “displacing families and severely impacting pastors, Christian workers, and churches.” Trump pauses immigration from Third World countries In the United States, President Donald Trump announced last Thursday his administration will “permanently pause” migration from Third World countries.  This came a day after an Afghan national shot two National Guard members with a  357 revolver in Washington, D.C. near the White House. U.S. Army Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, aged 20, died the next day. U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolf remains in serious condition. However, doctors report that he was able to give a thumbs-up sign when prompted and he wiggled his toes on command as well. Brigadier General Leland Blanchard spoke at a press conference. BLANCHARD: “Their families' lives are all changed forever because one person decided to do this horrific and evil thing.” Officials charged the 29-year-old Afghan national, Rahmanullah Lakanwal, with first-degree murder yesterday. The Afghan man drove cross country, from his home in Washington State, to carry out the targeted attack. He had immigrated to the United States in 2021 under a Biden era program evacuating Afghan refugees during the chaotic withdrawal of U.S. forces. Listen to comments from White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.  LEAVITT: “Sarah and Andrew represent the very best of America, two young patriots who were willing to put on the uniform and risk their lives in defense of their fellow Americans. Both of them truly embody the profound words spoken by Jesus Christ in the Gospel. Greater love has no one than this to lay down one's life for one's friends.” (John 15:13) Mass killings are down this year Mass killings in the U.S. are down according to a database maintained by The Associated Press and USA Today. There have been 17 shooters who killed four or more people in a 24-hour period not including themselves. That's the lowest on record since 2006. Mass killings mostly occur at people's homes and often involve family members.  California officials dropped $70,000 in COVID fines against church Officials in California recently dropped nearly $70,000 in fines against a church and Christian school. The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health targeted Calvary Chapel San Jose and its affiliated Calvary Christian Academy during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Joel Oster with Advocates for Faith & Freedom said, “This is a complete victory, not only for Calvary Christian Academy, but for every church and Christian school in California. The State tried to use [the Occupational Safety and Health Administration] as a weapon to intimidate a religious institution. They failed. And they were forced to walk away from their own claims.” Should pro-life ministry be compelled to reveal names of donors? The U.S. Supreme Court heard a case yesterday involving a pro-life ministry in New Jersey. The case began in 2023 when the state targeted First Choice Women's Resource Centers with a subpoena, demanding the names of its donors.  Reuters reports that the justices appeared favorable to the pro-life ministry. William Haun with The Becket Fund for Religious Liberty said, “The Court should make clear that state bureaucrats cannot exploit their power to intimidate ministries or chill the faith commitments that guide their work.” Isaiah 10:1-2 says, “Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, who write misfortune, which they have prescribed to rob the needy of justice, and to take what is right from the poor of My people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless.” The “Naughty and Nice List” of U.S. retailers And finally, AUDIO: “He's making a list and checking it twice. He's going to find out who's naughty or nice.” Liberty Counsel released its latest “Naughty and Nice List” last month. The list catalogs retailers that are censoring Christmas and ones that are publicly celebrating it. Companies that celebrate Christmas include Costco, Lowe's, and Walmart. The Quiet Lord Who Comes to Save, Not to Seize Today's Homily reflects on the Gospel warning to remain spiritually alert, . . . . . . not numbed by excess or overwhelmed by daily anxieties. It connects Jesus' teaching to the apocalyptic visions in Daniel, where chaotic “beasts” rise from storm-tossed seas . . . symbols of destructive powers, hardships, and the unruly forces of history and human life. The preacher emphasizes that these images are not abstract: evil is real, suffering is real, and overwhelming pressures . . . whether political, cultural, personal, or emotional . . . threaten faith and hope. Yet above the chaos stands God, who alone grants true kingship and whose rule is not seized through force but given through goodness. Daniel's vision climaxes with “one like a Son of Man,” revealing true humanity and God's definitive victory over evil. Jesus Warns the Final Day Will Come Upon Everyone Jesus warns His disciples that the final day will come upon everyone, so they must stay vigilant . . . not only against persecution, but also against the drowning flood of ordinary worries. Prayer strengthens believers to stand courageously before the Son of Man. In the Eucharist, Christ gives Himself gently . . . not as a dominating power, but as a saving Lord whose goodness endures when all evil passes away. The Homily concludes by urging confidence, hope, and fidelity: goodness matters, evil will not last, and Christ prepares His people even now to meet Him in glory. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Trump urges Venezuelan president to leave country U.S. sabers are rattling off the coast of Venezuela.   The Miami Herald reported that President Donald Trump offered Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro an ultimatum over the weekend: He said, “You can save yourself and those closest to you, but you must leave the country now.”   For any assistance in leading to Maduro's arrest, the U.S. government has placed a bounty of $50 million on the Venezuelan President.   Also, President Trump issued a warning on Saturday via Truth Social. He wrote, “To all Airlines, Pilots, Drug Dealers, and Human Traffickers, please consider THE AIRSPACE ABOVE AND SURROUNDING VENEZUELA TO BE CLOSED IN ITS ENTIRETY.” Trump designates Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist group The President also designated certain chapters of the Muslim Brotherhood organization as a terrorist group, as of Sunday.  CounterExtremism.com has counted 48 extremist individuals and groups tied to the Brotherhood. As a Muslim Brotherhood host, the nation of Qatar has transferred $1.8 billion to Gaza since 2012, some of which reportedly has gone to Hamas. That information was revealed through recent audits. 65 people died from Ebola in Congo, Africa The Democratic Republic of the Congo is dealing with another Ebola outbreak — 65 cases confirmed and 45 deaths, reports U.S. News & World Report. The last major Congolese outbreak occurred in 2018. The virus is as dangerous as rabies, the Marburg virus, and the Avian flu. Exodus 4:11 reminds us that God is in control of all health issues: “So the Lord said to him, “Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the Lord?” Russian-Ukrainian negotiations at stalemate In other world news, the Russo-Ukrainian conflict negotiations are approaching another stalemate. Ukraine announced they will not accept territorial concessions. And French President Emmanuel Macron announced an endorsement of using frozen Russian assets to help fund Ukraine's defense. Japanese court upholds ban on homosexual marriage Japan's Tokyo court upheld the homosexual marriage ban as constitutional, reports the BBC. Of Asian states, only Thailand, Nepal, and Taiwan have legalized the practice thus far. Christian ministries ranked most and least transparent Ministry Watch has released its 2025 ratings of American ministries for financial efficiency, transparency, and donor confidence. Of the largest ministries in the United States, Medicine For All People International, Grand Canyon University, World Relief, Christian Aid Ministries, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the Christian Broadcasting Network rate the highest. Lowest ratings go to Samaritan's Purse, Convoy of Hope, Baylor University, Pepperdine University, and Hillsdale College. Some controversy has been brewing recently over the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability and the Billy Graham Evangelical Association's withdrawal from the organization.  Top 3 ministries serving the persecuted Of the six ministries serving the persecuted saints, Ministry Watch rates International Christian Concern, Equipping the Persecuted, and Persecution Project highest for financial efficiency, transparency, and donor confidence. Voice of the Martyrs is rated lowest.   Equipping the Persecuted focuses on Nigeria, and Persecution Project has been actively serving the persecuted saints in Sudan, Africa. Folks, think about giving to the poor and the suffering this Christmas season. Proverbs 28:27 says, “He who gives to the poor will not lack, but he who hides his eyes will have many curses.” U.S. government ran a $1.8 trillion deficit The financial numbers are in for the U.S. government's fiscal year 2025, ending in October. The government ran a deficit of $1.8 trillion for the year. That's down $41 billion or 2% compared to the previous year.  However, revenues increased by $317 billion due to higher tariffs on imported goods. Spending was up a whopping 4% or $275 billion, driven by welfare and benefit programs, as well as rising interest payments on the public debt. Trump to pick new Federal Reserve Chairman U.S. President Donald Trump will soon announce his next pick for chairman of the Federal Reserve. The new pick is slated to replace Jerome Powell in May of next year. Gold hits $4,230/ounce and silver hits $58/ounce Metals are still on the rise again. Gold hit $4,230 per ounce and silver topped $58.00 per ounce. Bitcoin is still down 31% over two months ago. FDA admits COVID-19 shots killed U.S. kids The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has acknowledged, for the first time, that COVID-19 vaccines have killed American children. According to Politico, Vinay Prasad, the vaccine chief for the FDA, issued a memo in which he revealed that FDA staff “found … at least 10 children have died after and because of receiving COVID-19 vaccination.” This comes from an “initial analysis of 96 deaths (associated with the vaccine taking place) between 2021 and 2024.” TN Democrat opposes Christian prayer in public forum And finally, the Christian faith appears to be at stake -- in a tight election in Tennessee for the 7th District Congressional seat. The Democrat candidate Aftyn Behn has gone on record stating she is opposed to Christian prayer in the public forum.   President Donald Trump took to Truth Social yesterday. He warned that Behn “hates Christianity, will take away your guns, wants Open Borders. . . men in women's sports, and openly disdains Country music.” The latest polls show the Republican candidate, Van Epps, is holding a slight lead in today's election. It's Monday, December 1st, A.D. 2025. (Contact@eanvoiceit.com) Why are Christians in Nigeria Facing Such Violent Attacks? President Donald Trump recently brought the topic of Christian persecution up noting that Nigeria was quote a ‘Country of Particular Concern' for violating religious freedom.  This has led to questions over why so many Nigerian Christian communities have faced violent attacks and why the President of the United States would require attention to this issue. Persecution.org examined this question and has found that according to most western media outlets Climate Change is often used to portray the violent attacks over natural resources instead of religious motivation. For example, in 2023 a massacre occurred on Christmas Eve.  Over 140 people were killed in Nigeria Plateau state.  Vatican News ran an article that said, quote ‘the long-running conflict between nomadic herders and farmers'. Right after a massacre in June of this year in which 200 Christians in Nigeria's Benue state were killed.  The BBC ran an article on violence in central Nigeria that said quote ‘It is safe to assume that there are lots of victims on both sides, as any attack usually leads to revenge and then a cycle of violence' Why is that safe to assume? Justice G Danjuma, an evangelist for the Remnant Christian Network in Nigeria's Taraba State, does agree that disputes over resources play a role, just not nearly as big a role as many Media outlets would have you believe. Danjuma says quote ‘Overwhelmingly the attacks are driven by religious animosity.'  He also encouraged people to quote ‘Reject the climate change narrative pushed by Western Media' He and added that it is quote, ‘It is deeply offensive and misleading.  Why would climate change cause people to burn churches, kill pastors and massacre worshippers during Christmas or Palm Sunday services.' Nigeria is currently number 7 on the Open Doors World Watch List for countries where Christians face the most extreme persecution. Pray for the believers in Nigeria with the words of Psalm 35:1-3: "Contend, O Lord, with those who contend with me; Fight against those who fight against me!  Take hold of shield and buckler and rise for my help!  Draw spear and javelin against my pursuers!  Say to my soul, I am your salvation!" ADF Releases Report of Christian Victories in the Supreme Court The Alliance Defending Freedom or ADF released a report listing the victories of 2025 so far this year!  Among the victories in the US Supreme Court they reported were; A decision in June that pro-life states like South Carolina can now direct Medicaid funds away from abortion businesses like Planned Parenthood. And a landmark victory for children's health and science based medicine.  The Court upheld Tennessee law protecting minors from harmful and life-altering gender transition drugs and surgeries. Conscience Protections for Medical Residents Act Introduced Lifenews.com reports that US Senator John Cornyn from Texas along with Senator James Lankford from Oklahoma and a group of their Senate GOP colleagues, introduced the Conscience Protections for Medical Residents Act, which would ensure medical students and residents are never pressured or coerced into abortion training that violates their moral or religious beliefs and established clear federal protections so residents are not forced to choose between their conscience and their careers. Senator Cornyn said quote, ‘The first rule of medicine is to do no harm, yet for many aspiring doctors, coerced abortion training not only contradicts that oath but also violates their moral and religious beliefs. By allowing medical residents to opt-in rather than opt-out of abortion training, this legislation would protect healthcare professionals convictions and give them the freedom to practice medicine without fear of retaliation.' Findings from Abortion Mill Undercover Investigation Released RightNow a not-for-profit organization committed to nominating and electing pro-life candidates along with educating and engaging pro-life Canadians on the political process, recently released the findings of an undercover investigation in which they went into abortion clinics across Canada to find out if it was possible to get a late-term abortion based solely on personal choice.  Alissa Golob, Co-Founder and Executive Director of RightNow says quote, ‘Canadians are often told that late-term abortions never happen in Canada and if they do, they are for extreme medical reasons.  Yet, I was told numerous times that attaining a late-term abortion in Canada is relatively easy, legal and that I did not need a reason, medical or otherwise, regarding myself or my pregnancy.' Other things exposed in this investigation were things like an abortion clinic counsellor defining late-term abortion in Canada as stillbirth, which calls into question the validity of current statistics around late-term abortions in Canada. (Contact@eanvoiceit.com) New Anti-Conversion Laws in India According to Persecution.org Police in the northwestern Indian state of Rajasthan recently registered the first case under the state's recently enacted anti-conversion legislation against two missionaries. The Christians were accused of carrying out religious conversions at a gathering through “allurement,” according to media reports. After registering the case on Nov. 20, police issued notices to the two missionaries – Chandy Varghese from New Delhi and Arun John from Kota – claiming they promoted conversion and baptised several people during a three-day program known as ‘Spiritual Satsang' at Beersheba Church in Kota. Police investigated after videos and social media clips surfaced showing event speeches and activities. Several youths allegedly announced from the stage that they put their faith in Jesus Christ and were baptized, while calling upon others to adopt Christianity. Rajasthan is one of 12 states in India that has strict anti-conversion laws. A first information report (FIR) was registered by the police after complaints were lodged by hardline Hindu groups active in controlling Christian activities. 2 Thessalonians 3:2-3 That we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all have faith.  But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. Christians in Uganda Threatened Despite Freedom of Religion Laws A Sudanese Christian family in Uganda is living in fear after Muslim extremists from Sudan and Somalia threatened to kill them. Safaa Yousif, who fled her native Sudan to Uganda due to conflict and religious persecution in 2016, received a text message from an anonymous number threatening to kill her family. Muslims from Somalia have also threatened her.  Yousif said she once gave discipleship classes to new converts, and a Somali Muslim who had put his faith in Christ was kidnapped and tortured by his co-religionists from Somalia and Sudan. Somalia is ranked 2nd on the Christian support group Open Doors 2025 World Watch List of the 50 countries where it is most difficult to be a Christian.  Its constitution establishes Islam as the state religion and prohibits the propagation of any other religion, according to the US State Department.  It also requires that laws comply with Sharia Principles, with no exceptions in application for non-Muslims. The threats on Yousif's family in Uganda were the latest of many instances of persecution of Christians in Uganda. An interesting fact to consider is that Uganda's constitution and other laws provide for religious freedom, including the right to propagate one's faith and convert from one faith to another.  Muslims make up no more than 12 percent of Uganda's population, with high concentrations in eastern areas of the country. Pray that the Yousif family be reminded of the words of Jesus in Acts 1:7-8 It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.  But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit as come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth. New hurdle in James Comey case The prosecution of former FBI Director James Comey hit another hurdle last Wednesday as the Justice Department encountered mounting questions about how the case was presented to a grand jury for indictment, reports the Associated Press. The development risked further jeopardizing a politically charged prosecution already subject to multiple challenges and demands for its dismissal. It came during a hearing in which Comey's lawyers asked U.S. District Judge Michael Nachmanoff to throw out the case on grounds that the government was being vindictive and as a separate challenge to Lindsey Halligan, the hastily appointed and inexperienced prosecutor who secured the indictment, is pending. The Justice Department's acknowledgment under questioning from a judge that the full grand jury did not review a copy of the final indictment is the latest indication of its seemingly disjointed pursuit of a criminal case against one of President Donald Trump's political enemies. Comey was fired by Trump in May 2017 while overseeing an FBI investigation into potential ties between Russia and Trump's 2016 campaign. The two have been publicly at odds ever since. New Exoskeleton Suit is Accomplishing Miracles At a Canadian wellness center, a unique robotic exoskeleton is allowing children with developmental disorders to walk-often for the first time. The nonprofit's Regina location in Canada is eager to get families to come and try it out.  It can be used to correct a child's gait or help them take their first steps, and is suitable for a variety of conditions including spinal cord injuries and cerebral palsy. Good News Network reports that the First Steps Wellness Center in Canada received the Trexo exoskeleton out of the goodness of someone's heart!  The $100,000 machine was donated to help children like Leo, a boy born with a rare genetic disease which left him a prognosis that walking would be impossible.  But, latched into the Trexo walker at First Steps, his mother Anna has watched her son learn to walk and develop a musculature that has him able to take steps on his own. ANNA: “He does a few steps right now by himself, and with Trexo, I'm pretty sure he'll be able to do more steps in the future, once we start using it more often.” There are currently 6 Trexo exoskeletons sold and in use today.  After a few sessions, how is Leo doing today? ANNA: “He can walk! You know, be part of everybody else, like walk like other kids. So, it's kind of- It's unique. He did amazing. I have butterflies. (Contact@eanvoiceit.com) Christian Institute Proposed Street Preacher Charter. Officials in the U.K. are increasingly targeting Christians who express their faith in public. In response, the Christian Institute launched its new “Street Preacher's Charter” in Parliament last week. The document defends the rights of street preachers in England and Wales. The wrongful arrest of a Scottish preacher in 2022 inspired the charter. Mike Judge, a trustee of The Christian Institute, said, “This Charter is a timely shield for those who dare to speak — and a timely corrective for a society tempted to silence them.” U.K. Street Preacher Acquitted A jury in the U.K. acquitted a street preacher recently. The case began after a Muslim family reported street preacher Shaun O'Sullivan to authorities. Officials charged him with religiously aggravated intentional harassment. However, O'Sullivan testified in court that he simply preaches the Gospel in public after being saved from a life of crime and violence. Andrea Williams with the Christian Legal Centre said, “This was another example of police overreach . . . The acquittal is . . . a reminder of the fragile state of fundamental freedoms in our country right now.” When commanded not to preach, the apostles said in Acts 4:19-20, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. For we cannot but speak about the things which we have seen and heard.” Christian Universities to Launch Outreach to Europe One of the largest Christian universities in the United States is launching outreach to Europe to counter the rise of secularism there. Liberty University of Lynchburg, Virginia is now offering over 600 online degrees to students in Europe.  Lucian Mustata is Liberty's European representative for the project. He told Christian Daily International, “we need to invest in the next generation. In the long term, secularism grows in Europe because we're not investing in teenagers and the next generation with Christian values. It's very important to have Christian education in Europe.” Trump Designates the Muslim Brotherhood as Terrorist Organization On Monday, President Donald Trump signed an executive order to designate certain chapters of the Muslim Brotherhood as foreign terrorist organizations.  The organization was founded in 1928 with chapters across the Middle East. Last week, Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott similarly designated the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization. He said the goal of the group is to “forcibly impose Sharia law . . . These radical extremists are not welcome in our state and are now prohibited from acquiring any real property interest in Texas.”  This coming on the heels of a report released called The Muslim Brotherhood Strategic Entryism into the United States.  Chris Mitchell from CBN News has more concerning this report. MITCHELL: “And what it does, and why this is so significant – it exposes a generational strategy to impose Shariah Law on the United States. They call it “a civilizational struggle,” and it's based on four pillars. One is influencing public policy. Two, influencing legal strategies, and what that tries to do is minimize criticism of Islam and turn that into charges of Islamphobia and charges of discrimination. Number three is infiltration of institutions – charities, universities, schools, and even to influence Middle East studies in those universities. And, four is to control the narrative through the medium, to shake the public debate. A key issue in this is the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. We've heard charges of Palestine, from the river to the sea, globalize the Intifadah. That puts it in context, is what they're trying to do is just influence media, the society, and then just introduce, in a gradual way, Shariah Law.” Planned Parenthood Forced to Shut Down Centers Due to Financial Strain Planned Parenthood announced yesterday it is closing one of its locations in Ohio. The abortion giant has now closed 45 centers so far this year. Many closures are due to the Trump administration's support for defunding abortion providers. A recent report from Planned Parenthood admits, “Already buckling under immense financial strain due to our country's frayed and underfunded public health system, Planned Parenthood health centers across the country are being pushed to the brink.” New Survey Concerning the Understanding of Salvation is Released by Barna Dr. George Barna released his latest research on the worldview of Americans. The survey found most U.S. adults say eternal salvation demands a blend of works and grace. For example, one-third of Americans who call themselves “born-again” believe good people can earn salvation. And nearly half of Americans believe they will earn their way into Heaven by being generally good or doing enough good deeds. Dr. Barna noted, “There remains a shocking degree of misunderstanding among Christians regarding sin, repentance, forgiveness, and salvation.” Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Bible Sales Surge This Year And finally, mainstream media outlets are noting this year's surge in Bible sales. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) Eritrea Persecutes Christians persecution.org reports now eight Christians who have languished in Eritrea prison cells for over 18 years.  The charge — they were following Jesus Christ. Eritrean authorities routinely arrest and imprison Christians in horrific conditions under severe authoritarian rule.   The nation recognizes only four religious groups within its borders: the Tewahedo Orthodox Church, the Roman Catholic Church, Evangelical Lutheran churches, and Sunni Islam. All other Christian denominations are unrecognized by the state.  According to a 2025 report from the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), “as of May 2024, over 350 Christians were imprisoned [in Eritrea].” The report continued, stating that “police at times arrest entire Christian families, including children, during the early morning hours.”  Brazilian Christian Homeschool Conference The Brazilian Christian Homeschool movement is exploding.  2,000 dads, moms, and children  Joao Passeo participated over a 3 day conference — with messages on Biblical Worldview in science and history, Christian education, family discipleship, family economy, God-centered curriculum, and God's order for family, church and state. This was the fourth in the Generations and Worldview sponsored conferences in Brazil — one more way of serving 75,000 homeschoolers throughout the country. Expo organizer, Vinicius Reis had this to say about God's powerful working in the hearts of fathers and mothers throughout Brazil:   VINICIUS: “We are here in the third day, the last day, of our Expo Homeschooling Brazil Conference. We have the mission with this event, to connect those who love and teach their children. And we achieve here, more than 2000 attendees, during these three days, and it was so special... and receiving encouragement to move it and keep moving forward, especially in our discipleship mission for our kids. So, thank you for supporting us and continue praying for us, because despite the challenge, despite the persecution, we will not stop to teach and to love our children. May God bless you and may God bless Brazil too, amen.” Psalm 78 has a message for all Christian parents: "For [the Lord] established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers, That they should make them known to their children; That the generation to come might know them, The children who would be born, That they may arise and declare them to their children, That they may set their hope in God, And not forget the works of God." Argentina Considering Recognization of Homeschooling And, Argentina is heading towards a complete rewrite of their education law — explicitly recognizing homeschooling and hybrid forms of distance education as legitimate alternatives. If the law passes, parents will be recognized as “the natural and primary agents” of education, and the state's role will be considered subsidiary. The nations' teachers unions have already expressed opposition to the legislation, entitled The Education Freedom Act. G-20 Annual in Johannesburg At least 13 presidents and prime ministers from leading nations showed up at the G-20 annual get together of the world's most powerful men in Johannesburg, South Africa over the weekend.  Nothing substantial was accomplished, besides the issuance of vague statements on climate resilience, peace, stability, the need for debt relief, and global cooperation. The US and Argentina were conspicuously absent from a meeting that involved the UK, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Canada, and Australia.  This was the United States's first absence since the creation of G-20 in 1999 under the Clinton Administration.  According to recent numbers published in the US Government's FY2026 budget, the US contributions to international organizations and UN peacekeeping is dropping by 89% — from $2.45 billion to $264 million. Here is one clear message for G-20 and the world's leaders: "Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth.  Serve the Lord with fear, And rejoice with trembling.  Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, And you perish in the way." Psalm 2:10  College-Grad Employment Getting Worse College-grad employment is getting worse and worse.  A recent Bloomberg story finds that the percentage of the college-educated making up the unemployment numbers in the US has increased from 12% in 2008 to 25% in 2025.  Young degree-holders are running at a 9.2% unemployment rate. All that to say, the market for college-educate Marxist-activists has cooled quite a bit.  40% of US House of Representatives are Pro-Life Exactly 40% of the US House of Representatives are pro-life and willing to oppose the mail-order abortion pill. Only 174 members signed a letter urging the Trump Administration Department of Health and Human Services to ban the mail-order kill-pill, but still allowing for in-person dispensing of it. 44 Republicans members and the Democrat contingency did not sign the letter. Bitcoin Loses Value Cryptocurrency is still as volatile as ever.  Bitcoin has lost 30% of its value in the last six weeks — that's the third swing exceeding 30% in just a year. Over the same year, gold took a steady 100% increase, without any significant downturns. Two Texas men have been charged with plotting a violent takeover of a Haitian island, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Texas. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Christian ethnic cleansing survivors given new homes in Armenia Several families displaced by ethnic cleansing in their ancient Christian homeland more than two years ago were given new homes and plots of land on Tuesday through a charitable initiative seeking to help revitalize a rural Armenian mountain village, reports the Christian Post. Romans 12:15 says, “Rejoice with those who rejoice.” The Tufenkian Foundation has cut the ribbon on a pilot refugee village in Svarants, completing the first 10 of 20 new homes in the upper reaches of Armenia's mountainous Tatev Municipality, which borders Iran and Azerbaijan. The new homes, which come with adjoining plots of land and a barn, were built specifically to help families rebuild their lives around the agricultural and livestock work they were doing before Azerbaijan's 2023 invasion of Nagorno-Karabakh. It's a predominantly Armenian region known affectionately to Armenians as the Republic of Artsakh. After a months-long military blockade, more than 120,000 ethnic Artsakh Armenians were forced from their homes in September 2023, and most have lived for two years throughout Armenia with what Artsakh leaders say has been inadequate social integration.  Judge orders Trump to end National Guard deployment in DC On Thursday, U.S. District Judge Jia Cobb, a Biden appointee, ordered the Trump administration to end its monthslong deployment of National Guard troops to help police the nation's capital, reports the Associated Press. She asserted that President Donald Trump's military takeover in Washington, D.C., illegally intrudes on local officials' authority to direct law enforcement in the district. Trump had said the troops were needed to deal with rampant crime and violence in Washington and support federal immigration law enforcement efforts there. Pope Leo met with Illinois' pro-abortion, pro-perversion governor The stream of liberal clergy and scandalous public figures who are given audiences with Pope Leo XIV seemingly never comes to an end. Now comes news that pro-abortion Democratic Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker spoke with Leo for 40 minutes at the Vatican during a private meeting on Wednesday, reports LifeSiteNews.com. In the past, Pritzker has designated Illinois a “sanctuary state” for women seeking abortions, expanded access to chemical abortion pills, and approved policies sexual perversion activists have long desired. To top it off, Pritzker may sign a bill that would legalize physician-assisted suicide. According to Proverbs 6:17, one of seven things that God hates is “hands that shed innocent blood.” A Pritzker spokesman said that the audience with Leo was arranged by pro-homosexual Chicago Cardinal Blase Cupich, a man with whom he has had a long friendship. Neither Trump nor Vance not invited to Dick Cheney's funeral Political figures from across the aisle gathered Thursday in Washington, DC, for the funeral of former Vice President Dick Cheney — a key figure of pre-MAGA Republican politics, reports CBS News. The funeral, which was attended by two former presidents and all living former vice presidents, was a bipartisan who's who of Washington dignitaries yet with the notable absence of two of the country's current leaders. Neither President Donald Trump nor Vice President J.D. Vance were invited to the funeral. Cheney received full military honors at the invitation-only memorial service at Washington's National Cathedral. Attendees included former Presidents Joe Biden and George W. Bush, former First Ladies Jill Biden and Laura Bush, as well as former Vice Presidents Kamala Harris, Mike Pence, Al Gore, and Dan Quayle. George W. Bush: Dick Cheney was a serious man Former President George W. Bush eulogized Dick Cheney, his former vice president, as a consummate public servant who could be relied on, and who “lifted the standards” of those around him. BUSH: “In a profession that attracts talkers, Dick Cheney was a thinker and a listener. And when he did speak up, conveying thoughts in that even tone of voice, that orderly, unexcitable manner, you knew you were getting the best of a highly disciplined mind. “No colleague, no legislator, no foreign leader who ever met Dick Cheney ever doubted that they were dealing with a serious man.” Cheney, who served as Bush's vice president from 2001 to 2009, died on November 3 at the age of 84. Prior to being elected vice president, Cheney served as defense secretary, White House chief of staff, and as a congressman representing Wyoming. Texas Governor slams judge who blocked redistricting map Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott slammed the El Paso federal judge, a 2019 Trump nominee, who once worked for Abbott, for authoring the decision that blocked the state's congressional redistricting map that President Donald Trump wanted ahead of next year's elections, reports the San Antonio Express-News. ​In an appearance on Fox News, Abbott said a previous redistricting decision by U.S. District Court Judge Jeffrey Brown, who worked for Abbott when he was a Texas Supreme Court justice in the 1990s, was overturned last year. ABBOTT: “Judge Brown, who wrote that opinion, he was just reversed last year in a different redistricting decision. He was wrong last year. He's wrong this year. I have never seen an opinion so erroneous in its writing. That's something that the United States Supreme Court, I think, is just not going to tolerate.” ​Abbott said he is “confident” that the U.S. Supreme Court will side with Texas and allow the new map, which gives Republicans five more winnable seats, to be used in the 2026 midterm elections. The case has major ramifications for control of the U.S. House during the final two years of Trump's presidency. Republicans currently hold a five-seat majority in the U.S. House. If Democrats retake control of the chamber, they would have the power to stop all major legislation Trump wants passed and would be able to hold hearings to investigate the administration's policy decisions and actions. British shoe cobbler victorious in David vs. Goliath battle And finally, a British shoe cobbler in Gloucestershire, England, named Alan Macdonald, has been happily repairing shoes for thirty years at Macdonald Traditional Cobbler. MACDONALD: “Well, my father was a cobbler and my grandfather was a cobbler. So, I've been around probably since I was about five. I think my father had me doing work.” Recently, a corporate shoe repair chain wanted to open a location right across the street. Local citizens signed a petition to protect Alan McDonald, reports GoodNewsNetwork.org. The petition to reject the corporate newcomer collected 1,000 signatures from people in the area through social media, including the local Parliament member. MACDONALD: “You know, I hadn't expected this swell of support that's happened as a result of this application. I mean, I just was not expecting that.” A United Kingdom grocery chain Tesco had submitted a planning application together with another chain called Timpson, to open a new location of one of their bizarre service centers that offered combinations of dry cleaning, watch repair, key duplication, photo printing, engraving, portraiture, and shoe repair. To Macdonald's delight, when the corporate application for its new location was due to be discussed at a parish council meeting, Tesco confirmed it would not be moving forward.  However, it failed to specify whether or not the petition drive led to their decision. MACDONALD: “It was quite a worry to be honest. You know, I don't make a massive amount of money. Last Friday, Muslim militants with the Allied Democratic Forces killed 17 people at a Christian hospital in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.  The armed rebels killed patients in their hospital beds, including women who were nursing their babies. Such civilian massacres are becoming more common in the Christian-majority area. Congo is ranked 35th on the Open Doors' World Watch List of the most dangerous countries to be a Christian. Open Doors' profile for the country notes, “Allied with the Islamic State group, the [Allied Democratic Forces] abduct and kill Christians and attack churches, leading to widespread terror, insecurity and displacement.” European Court of Human Rights denied rights of unborn humans The European Court of Human Rights  ruled in favor of abortion last week, denying the rights of unborn humans. The case began when a woman wanted to get an abortion in Poland after discovering her baby had a genetic disorder. However, Poland's Constitutional Tribunal had struck down abortion on the basis of disability.  So, the woman travelled abroad for an abortion and challenged Poland's decision. The European court ruled against Poland in the case. Dr. Felix Böllmann with Alliance Defending Freedom International warned, “This judgment sends a troubling signal that the Court is again willing to overstep its role. The Court should return to its original mission of protecting genuine human rights, not inventing false ones.” Isaiah 10:1-2 says, “Woe to those who decree unrighteous decrees, who write misfortune, which they have prescribed to rob the needy of justice ... that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless.” U.S. pregnancy centers are seeing growth In the United States, pregnancy centers are seeing growth in recent years. The Charlotte Lozier Institute released its 2025 National Pregnancy Center Report. The study found 2,775 pregnancy centers provided over $452 million in care, education, and material goods to families in 2024. The centers also saw over one million new clients for the first time last year. That's the equivalent of each location serving a new client every day! The phase out of the unnecessary Department of Education The U.S. Department of Education announced Tuesday it is handing off major responsibilities to other federal agencies. This is part of the Trump administration's plan to close the department.  The plan transfers major programs to the Departments of Labor, Interior, State as well as Health and Human Services. MCMAHON: “The announcement really follows the plan that President Trump has had since Day 1, and that is returning education to the states.  He fully believes, as do I, the best education is that that is closest to the child, and not one run from a bureaucracy in Washington D.C.” Only 11% of U.S. churchgoers have Biblical worldview Christian researcher Dr. George Barna released his latest survey on the worldview of Americans, specifically regular churchgoers. The report found only 11% of churchgoers have a Biblical worldview. Only 54% say the Bible is the inspired, error-free Word of God. About 50% or less believe the Bible speaks clearly on moral issues. And 32% of churchgoers now prefer socialism over capitalism. Dr. David Closson, Director of the Center for Biblical Worldview at the Family Research Council, commented on the study.  He said, “The answer to these trends is not despair, but a return to the faithful proclamation of God's Word. We must help Christians connect their zeal for God with the knowledge of God, as Scripture commands in Romans 10:2.” That verse says, “For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.” WalMart CEO and Berkshire Hathaway CEO retire And finally, CEOs of U.S. companies are leaving at record rates this year. This comes as many executives are reaching retirement age. For example, 59-year-old Doug McMillion will retire from being CEO of Walmart next year after leading the retailer's growth for over a decade.  In another case, 95-year-old Warren Buffett is stepping down as CEO of Berkshire Hathaway this year. After 60 years in leadership, the renowned investor sent out his final letter to shareholders last week.  In his final thoughts, Buffett wrote, “Greatness does not come about through accumulating great amounts of money. When you help someone in any of thousands of ways, you help the world. Kindness is costless but also priceless. Whether you are religious or not, it's hard to beat The Golden Rule as a guide to behavior.” Buffett's billions funded millions of abortions Too bad Buffet has not used his resources to treat the unborn children in the womb with such Golden Rule kindness. Instead, the Media Research Center reported that Buffett's grants to abortion groups through the Buffett Foundation totaled at least $1.3 billion between 1989 and 2012. (The tax returns from 1997 to 2000 were missing.)  The New York Times reported, “Most of the [Buffet] Foundation's spending goes to abortion and contraception.”  Buffett's biographer describes him as having “a Malthusian dread” of population growth among the poor. And the Buffett Foundation's spending in this area was accelerating rapidly as the 2000s unfolded. Beneficiaries of Buffett's deadly giving include $300 million for abortion giant Planned Parenthood as well as millions more for the National Abortion Rights Action League, the National Abortion Federation, Catholics for a Free Choice, Abortion Access Project, Population Council, Marie Stopes International, the Center for Reproductive Rights, and dozens of other pro-abortion advocates. In addition, the Buffett Foundation gave money that was instrumental in creating the abortion drug RU-486 and pushing it through clinical trials. Tragically, 63% of mothers who abort in America today use this deadly drug to kill their babies. The Observatory on Intolerance and Discrimination Against Christians in Europe released their latest report on Monday.  Christians faced 2,211 hate crimes across the continent last year. The number is slightly down from 2023, but last year saw a rise in violent crimes like physical attacks and arson.  The countries with highest number of anti-Christian incidents were France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, and Austria. 189 university evangelists gathered in Spain The Fellowship of Evangelists in the Universities of Europe held their 17th annual meeting in Spain recently. Evangelical Focus reports 189 university evangelists from 39 countries attended the conference. Evangelists are committed to the public proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the universities of Europe.  The article noted, “A strong theme of the conference was the renewed spiritual openness emerging across the continent, particularly among young people.” Romans 10:15 says, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!” Trump lifted tariffs on 200 food products In the United States, President Donald Trump lifted tariffs on over 200 food products last Friday. The products include coffee, beef, bananas, and orange juice.  The move comes as Americans face rising grocery prices. Listen to comments from President Trump aboard Air Force One.  TRUMP: “For the most part, the foods, when we cut back a little bit on those tariffs, will get the price down. But they're not competitive in this country, like tomatoes and bananas and things we don't make in this country. So, there's no protection of our industries or our food products.” President Trump also suggested sending $2,000 tariff rebate checks to most Americans next year. House to release Epstein Files without redacting perpetrators' names The House of Representatives, in a near-unanimous vote, passed a bill on November 18 that would require the Department of Justice to release more files surrounding the deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, reports The Epoch Times. The final tally was 427–1. Republican Congressman Clay Higgins of Louisiana was the sole lawmaker who voted against the measure. Republican Senate Majority Leader John Thune of South Dakota said he will take up the bill. The Epstein Files Transparency Act, introduced by Democratic Congressman Ro Khanna of California and co-sponsored by Republican Congressman Thomas Massie of Kentucky, would order the Department of Justice to release “in a searchable and downloadable format all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials” tied to Epstein no later than 30 days following the enactment of the bill. The legislation would prohibit the Justice Department from withholding, delaying, or redacting records for reputational and political reasons. Oregon to pay 2 teachers $650,000 over their objection to biological boys entering female bathrooms A school district in Oregon recently agreed to a $650,000 settlement for wrongfully terminating two teachers who opposed transgender ideology.  Back in 2021, Grants Pass School District terminated two teachers named Rachel Sager and Katie Medart. The two had voiced objections to allowing biological boys to enter female bathrooms and locker rooms.  Alliance Defending Freedom represented the teachers in the case.  Attorney Mathew Hoffmann said, “Teachers don't give up their First Amendment rights when they set foot on school property. Public schools can't retaliate against speech simply because they disagree with what's said.” Deaths by in vitro fertilization surpass abortion deaths Live Action reports the number of lives lost to in vitro fertilization now surpasses those lost to abortion. In 2023, 3.8 million embryos were created through in vitro fertilization. Of those, 1.9 million embryos died or were deliberately killed. Another 1.7 million embryos were either miscarried, destroyed, donated to researchers, released for embryo adoption, or frozen indefinitely. Only 95,860 babies were born through the process. In comparison, there were one million abortions in the U.S. in 2023. Live Action noted, “In vitro fertilization is not about creating life but about controlling it, determining which lives are accepted as valuable and worthy and which are automatically destroyed for being deemed ‘subpar'.” Only 49% of Americans say religion important to daily lives A new report from Gallup found that the U.S. is experiencing one of the largest drops in religiosity in the world. Forty-nine percent of U.S. adults say religion is an important part of their daily lives today, down from 66% in 2015. The only countries with greater drops in religiosity, over a 10-year period, are Greece, Italy, Poland, Chile, and Turkey. However, Americans still have medium-high levels of Christian identification. The report noted, “The U.S. increasingly stands as an outlier: less religious than much of the world, but still more devout than most of its economic peers.” Revelation 3:15-16 warns, “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.” Last penny was just minted last week And finally, the United States Mint struck its final penny last Wednesday. The penny was authorized under the Coinage Act of 1792. At the time, a penny could purchase items like a biscuit, a candle, or a piece of candy. Not anymore. In fact, it costs nearly four cents to make a penny now.  The U.S. Mint has struck the penny in its current form since 1909, featuring the motto, “In God We Trust.” U.S. Treasurer Brandon Beach struck the final penny last week. Boko Haram, the Muslim terrorist group, is suspected of involvement in this kidnapping of mothers and their children, including two daughters of a local pastor and an infant.   One resident described the atmosphere in the area as shock and fear.  She said, “I'm shocked and saddened by the attack. … My heart goes out to the families of the abducted. It's heartbreaking that this is happening weekly in Chibok. The silence is deafening — we must demand action from our leaders and support our troops to bring an end to this senseless violence.” 25 girls kidnapped in Kebbi State, Nigeria And this just in. The Associated Press reports that 25 girls were kidnapped yesterday morning from a high school in Kebbi State, Nigeria. Nigerian military opened fire on police in Benue State, Nigeria Meanwhile, the Nigerian military opened fire on a police patrol in Benue State last week. The patrol was offering protection to villagers from Fulani Muslim terrorists. Just another incident marking the unravelling of the social and political state of the Nigerian nation.  Congress might impose sanctions on Nigeria The United States House of Representatives Subcommittee on Africa has scheduled an open hearing this Thursday on the President's recent designation of Nigeria as a Country of Particular Concern. If ratified by the Senate, the designation would allow the U.S. to impose sanctions on Nigerian government officials found complicit in religious persecution. German authorities targeting homeschooling and Christian schooling Homeschooling and Christian schooling are under attack in Germany, again. The Dietrich Bonhoeffer International School in Germany is a part-homeschool and part-Christian school hybrid. After three court hearings over the last six years, education authorities are not forcing school closure. Two partner schools have been denied accreditation by German authorities.   Alliance Defending Freedom International is appealing the case to the European Court of Human Rights.  In 1920, Germany introduced public school compulsory attendance, By 1939,  almost all denominational  or confessional schools in the Reich were converted into “community schools” under state control or they were closed. Keep in mind, God is in control. In Isaiah 43:15-17, God says, “I am the Lord, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King.” Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea and a path through the mighty waters, who brings forth the chariot and horse, The army and the power, they shall lie down together, they shall not rise; They are extinguished, they are quenched like a wick.” Marco Rubio to designate Venezuelan cartel as terrorist group Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced Sunday that the State Department would designate Cartel de los Soles or Cartel of the Suns as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. It will take place within a week. The cartel is believed to be headed by Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his cronies.   The State Department press release promised that the United States would use “all available tools to protect our national security interests and deny funding and resources to narco-terrorists.” Since September, the U.S. military has completed 21 attacks on boats thought to be carrying drugs in the Caribbean seas.  As of Saturday, 83 people aboard ships have been killed, and 22 ships sunk.  State Department called Maduro “one of largest narco-traffickers” Not only has the State Department referred to Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro as "one of the largest narco-traffickers in the world,” but also the U.S. government has offered a $50 million reward for information leading to his arrest.  Venezuela's Gross Domestic Product has sunk from $371 billion in 2013, when Madura was elected, to an estimated $107 billion this year.   HIs government is known for having killed thousands of political enemies. In his early years, Maduro was trained as a communist in Cuba, and leads the United Socialist Party of Venezuela. Venezuela, once rich oil-based country, no relies on illegal drugs Venezuela was one of the most prosperous states in South America back in the 1980s and 1990s, that is, until a left-wing politician named Hugo Chávez was elected as President in 1998. Since then, the country has shifted from an oil-based economy to a drug-based economy. Venezuelan oil production has dropped off by 75% since the late 90s. A ruler who lacks understanding is a great oppressor, but he who hates covetousness will prolong his days.” African, Muslim & Eastern countries vs West on trust in governments The Edelman International Survey finds that the people of African, Muslim, and Eastern countries are far more optimistic about the future of their nations than the people in Western countries. Those who live in Kenya, Indonesia, India, China, and Saudi Arabia are very optimistic — over 50% believe the next generation will be better off. By contrast, the population of France, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Australia, the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Canada are extremely pessimistic — barely 9-20% could say the same thing. In terms of distrust of governments, the people of Japan, Germany, Spain, Colombia, and South Africa were highly distrustful. But those who live in Saudi Arabia, China, India, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia registered high trust in governments. Hollywood's economic slump And, finally, Hollywood has gone into an economic tailspin — now sporting the worst summer season in 44 years. At $3.67 billion, Tinseltown's summer box office season registered a 43% decrease from the peak year of 2013, adjusted for inflation.  Pagan worldview of How to Train Your Dragon 2025 In case you missed it, How to Train Your Dragon 2025 featured a pagan worldview with ample references to the ancient demonic gods of Odin and Thor, not to mention the witch consulting bones and magic. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Catholic cathedral bombed in Bangladesh On November 7, a Catholic cathedral and school in Dhaka, Bangladesh, were bombed hours before a worship event that drew bishops from across the country, reports International Christian Concern. A suspect on a motorbike threw two homemade bombs at the church — one exploded near the gate, and another landed near the property, failing to detonate. Thankfully, no one was injured in the attack.  The incident did not deter 500 Catholics from attending the worship event the following morning at St. Mary's Cathedral, nor did it deter students from returning to school at St. Joseph School the following Monday.  Police investigators arrested a suspect and identified him as a member of a banned student political party. They have been initiating violent protests against the government, but more recently, their attacks have shifted toward churchgoers as they prepare for the February 2026 election.  St. Mary's Cathedral plans to take legal action and punish the perpetrator.  One churchgoer said, “Anxiety grips many of us while going to church.” And Bulbul Rebeiro with the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Bangladesh, said, “We are peace-loving people, but these incidents are frightening us.”  Bangladesh ranks 24th on the Open Doors' World Watch List of the countries most dangerous for Christians. Gen Z protests in Mexico City, storming presidential palace AUDIO: Sounds of rioting against police Those are the sounds of rioters who stormed the barricades outside the presidential palace in Mexico City on Saturday as an anti-cartel protest descended into chaos, reports The Daily Mail. Mobs of frustrated, mostly Gen Z Mexican protestors traded blows with cops and screamed slogans about how corruption and cartel killings have spiraled out of control in their country. Thousands of people filled the streets of the nation's capital and marched to the palace, which is the official residence of President Claudia Sheinbaum, the liberal politician who took office last October. The demonstration, largely organized by young activists and supported by older supporters of opposition movements, was the culmination of citizens' frustration with the government's inability to stop violence and provide economic opportunity. Pablo Vazquez, Mexico City's chief of police, said 20 people were arrested and are set to be charged with battery, assault and robbery, reports Bloomberg. Vazquez added that 60 of his police officers were injured, 40 of whom had to be sent to the hospital for treatment.  Trump supports Christian foster parents against pro-LGBT states President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Thursday aimed at “modernizing” the child welfare system in the United States, including a guarantee to side with foster families discriminated against by states for their religious convictions, reports LifeSiteNews.com. For example, Heath and Lydia Marvin, a Christians couple in Massachusetts who have fostered eight children under the age of four since 2020, lost their license to foster children because they refused to sign an agreement to “affirm” the alleged LGBT status of any children placed in their care.  LYDIA MARVIN: “We have been an active foster family in Massachusetts for the past four and a half years, and lost our license earlier this year due to new discriminatory policies against Christian families in Massachusetts. So grateful to be here and have the [Trump] administration's support for foster care, but also specifically for Christian families and faith-based organizations to continue caring for those who are most vulnerable in our communities.” Her husband Heath offered his support for the Trump administration as well. HEATH MARVIN: “It's so neat to hear the President and First Lady talking about both foster care and just the need that exists across the country for that, but also specifically, how Christians are twice as likely to be a part of foster care and to adopt.  They recognize that there are states that are putting policies in place that actually drive Christians out of foster care.” In Leviticus 18:22,  the Bible affirms heterosexuality, saying, "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; such a thing is an abomination." High school Worldview listener upset no reference to Veterans Day Last Tuesday was Veterans Day. Michelle Obama: America not ready for female president Former First Lady Michelle Obama has shut down the idea she might one day run for president. Mercy Ships surgeon saves baby's life by removing gigantic tumor And finally, a British surgeon removed a life-threatening tumor from a baby's neck that was as big as her entire face, reports GoodNewsNetwork.org. The lump has been growing since she was just five months old, but when her mother, Aminata, took her to the local hospital in Sierra Leone, West Africa, doctors told her she was too young for surgery. By the time Memunatu was ten months old, her family began to fear the worst until her mother bumped into a volunteer who works for Mercy Ships, a healthcare charity that operates hospitals aboard ships. Providentially, the Global Mercy ship was docked in Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone. When the staff saw how the tumor would eventually suffocate her, they immediately agreed to perform surgery aboard their ship for free. Earlier this year, she was admitted and prepped for the meticulous four-hour surgery performed by Royal London Hospital's Head and Neck Surgeon, Dr. Leo Cheng. He successfully removed the tumor, effectively saving Memunatu's life. Campbell Takes the Wheel, Offense Floors It The Detroit Lions put their stamp on Week 10. They routed the Commanders by 22. They hung 44 and rolled up more than 550 yards. The record moved to 6-3. First place in the NFC North followed after the Eagles beat the Packers. The headline was simple. Dan Campbell took over the offense, and the Detroit Lions looked like themselves again. This was the most dynamic snap-to-whistle showing of the season. The calls came out fast. The ball came out faster. The NFL is a rhythm league, and Detroit lived in rhythm. Jared Goff hit receivers in stride and let speed do the rest. Crossing routes stacked yards after catch. Tendencies softened. The heavy 12 personnel looks did not announce run and stall drives. The Detroit Lions added layers, kept Washington off balance, and strung answers together all afternoon. Rhythm Over Hero Ball The Detroit Lions Podcast broke down one sequence that captured the shift. Pony personnel out of the gun. Two backs on the field. Jahmyr Gibbs flared to the flat as the hot answer. David Montgomery inserted and stoned a free rusher. Goff hit the outlet and the sticks moved. Simple. Clean. Smart. That is what this offense can be when the first answer is built in. Concepts stacked nicely. Shallow crossers for Jameson Williams to run. A dig when leverage opened. Amon-Ra St. Brown on the slant. St. Brown on the touchdown off levels. The throws were on time. The spacing was sharp. The result was chunk gains without forcing low-percentage hero shots. Protection looked steadier because the plan cut the defense's teeth. Get it out. Make them tackle. Most of all, the approach felt unpredictable. Motions and formations did not telegraph intent. The Detroit Lions leaned into what their roster does best. Gibbs in space. Montgomery in pass protection and as a hammer. Goff as a point guard. The unit played connected football, and Washington never found the answers. Locker Room Temperature and What Comes Next There was also an undercurrent here. The previous play-caller's public criticism of the offensive line lingered. That kind of commentary belongs in the building. Not in front of microphones. The change arrived like a soft firing or a mutual reset. Either way, Campbell's voice carried, and the offense responded. Trust matters. Fourth-and-two calls tell a team everything. Campbell's aggression and clarity fueled confidence. Players know when the head coach believes in them. They played like it. Detroit sits at 6-3 after the statement win. The next test is heavy. The Eagles await on Sunday night in Week 11. That stage will demand the same tempo, the same answers-first sequencing, and the same discipline that beat Washington. Keep the ball moving. Keep Goff in rhythm. Keep Gibbs and Montgomery involved. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Iranian Christian prisoner denied treatment after spinal fracture On October 31st, Iranian Muslim authorities denied proper medical treatment to a prisoner named Aida Najaflou, an Iranian Christian convert, after she fell and fractured her spine, reports International Christian Concern. Najaflou, who suffered from spinal disc issues before her arrest, sustained the injury when she fell from her top prison bunk. She was taken to a local hospital, where medical professionals diagnosed a fractured T12 vertebra. Shockingly, Muslim authorities refused to allow Najaflou to obtain treatment and, instead, used a stretcher to bring her back to the prison that same day.  Due to the inhumane treatment and pain that Najaflou endured, fellow prisoners reportedly protested the situation. Iranian officials responded by taking the woman to a second hospital, where doctors recommended emergency surgery to repair her vertebra.   According to the Cleveland Clinic, “spinal fracture surgery” is recommended if the spinal fracture is in danger of damaging your spinal cord or if your pain doesn't improve a few months after non-surgical treatments.” The prolonging of proper care for Najaflou's injury is likely to have caused additional, unnecessary pain. Romans 5:3-5 says, “We know that suffering produces perseverance;  perseverance, character; and character, hope.  And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, Who has been given to us.” Sadly, previous requests from Najaflou for a lower bunk, based on her pre-existing spinal problems and a rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis, were dismissed by prison authorities.  Najaflou, along with two other Christians, was arrested in February 2025 for their Christian activities, including “praying, performing baptisms, taking communion, and celebrating Christmas.” She also spoke out against the Islamic Republic of Iran. According to Open Doors, Iran is the ninth most difficult country worldwide for Christians. Trump chastises Democrats for 43-day gov't shutdown Late Wednesday night, President Donald Trump signed legislation to end the Schumer Shutdown of government that spanned 43 days, punting the next funding deadline into late January, reports Politico.com. He called out the extortion of the Democrats who tried to force the funding of health care for illegal aliens as well as the extension of Obamacare benefits which they themselves had sunset. TRUMP: “Today, we're sending a clear message that we will never give into extortion, because that's what it was. The Democrats tried to extort our country. “In just a moment, I'll sign a bill exactly like we asked Democrats to send us all along, many days ago.  Republicans never wanted a shutdown and voted 15 times for a clean continuation of funding. Yet the extremists in the other party insisted on creating the longest government shutdown in American history, and they did it purely for political reasons.” President Trump explained the harm the Democrats caused. TRUMP: “Over the past seven weeks, the Democrats shut down as inflicted massive harm. They caused 20,000 flights to be canceled or delayed. They look very bad, the Democrats do. “They deprived more than one million government workers from their paychecks and cut off food stamp benefits for millions and millions more Americans in need. They caused tens of thousands of federal contractors and small businesses to go unpaid. And the total effect of the damage their antics caused will take weeks, and probably months, to really calculate accurately. “So, I just want to tell the American people, you should not forget this. When we come up to midterms, don't forget what they've done to our country.” The House passed the funding measure earlier in the evening, after eight Senate Democrats broke with their party to advance the package Monday night. Paychecks to federal workers reportedly will begin going out Saturday, reports NewsMax. Trump faces biggest Republican rebellion yet over Epstein Republicans are preparing a mass rebellion against President Donald Trump in a vote to release all classified files related to the late sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein, reports The Telegraph. At least 100 or more Republicans are expected to support the release of the files after a selection of emails sent by the deceased pedophile financier, that frequently mention the U.S. president, were made public on Wednesday. President Trump was friends with Epstein before the pair fell out in the early 2000s, but has always denied any knowledge of or involvement with Epstein's sex-trafficking or abuse of underage girls. Senator John Fetterman hospitalized after fall John Fetterman, the senior U.S. senator from Pennsylvania, was hospitalized on November 13th after falling down and hitting his face due to a heart-related issue, reports The Epoch Times. Because he had “a ventricular fibrillation flare,” a condition where the heart stops pumping blood to parts of the body, Fetterman became “light-headed” and then fell to the ground in Braddock, Pennsylvania, “hitting his face with minor injuries.” Kamala to Jon Stewart: Biden was competent to be President As part of her 107 Days book tour, former Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris was oddly hesitant to question President Joe Biden's mental acuity on Jon Stewart's podcast Listen. HARRIS: “I believe he was fully competent to serve.” STEWART: “Do you really?” HARRIS: “Yeah, I do.” STEWART:  “That, that surprises me, actually.” HARRIS: “No, I do. There's a distinction to be made between running for president and being president.” STEWART: “What's the distinction?” HARRIS: “Well, being a candidate for president United States is about being in a marathon, at a sprinter's pace, having tomatoes thrown at you every step you take.” STEWART: (laughs) “That sounds lovely.” HARRIS: “Yeah, it's more than a notion. And to be the seated president, the sitting president, while doing that, it's a lot.” STEWART: “I think it's a hard case to make for people that he didn't have the stamina to run, but he had the stamina to govern, because I think most people view the presidency as a marathon, run at a sprint, with tomatoes being thrown at you, in terms of governance.” Not surprisingly, people on social media were incredulous. Obama accused of destroying national landmark to build monument to himself What kind of U.S. president demolishes a cherished piece of American history in order to build a shrine to himself? Locals are still trying to make sense of the $850 million Obama Presidential Center, dubbed “The Obamalisk,” which broke ground in Chicago's historic Jackson Park in 2021 and will be finished next spring, reports the New York Post. Renowned Chicago architect Grahm Balkany, a self-described liberal, is upset. He said, “Obama, of all people, should not be building a palace for himself, a fortress in the middle of a public park. It's just contrary to what I thought he believed in.” Greg Laurie to hold crusade where Charlie Kirk was killed And finally, Evangelist Greg Laurie will headline a Harvest Crusade event at Utah Valley University, where conservative Christian activist Charlie Kirk was assassinated on September 10th during a Turning Point USA event, reports The Christian Post. Approximately, 10,000 attendees are expected. Known as “Hope for America,” the event will be held this Sunday, November 16. LAURIE:  “This is the place where Charlie left this world for the next world. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Russia bans three Baptist churches Forum 18 reports that Russia continues to crack down on Protestant churches. Russian courts banned three Baptist churches last month for not registering with the government. The congregations are part of the Council of Churches Baptist communities. The group has seen at least 10 of its churches banned. These bans have increased over the last year. Authorities often accuse such churches of “unlawful missionary activity.” However, the Baptist churches continue to meet despite the prohibitions and potential fines. When told not to teach in the name of Jesus, the Apostles said in Acts 5:29, “We ought to obey God rather than men.” European countries upset with Russia's drones European countries are investing in anti-drone systems as Russia continues to fly drones into their regions. Russia is testing NATO borders, flying drones as far as Germany, Denmark, and Belgium. Countries that border Russia, like Lithuania, are building public defense programs to prepare for any crisis. Listen to comments made to CBN News by Vice President Tomas Godliauskas of Lithuania's National Defense. GODLIAUSKAS: “We develop kind of a strategy, how we are preparing our citizens militarily and how we're preparing all the rest of the citizens to build the resilience of our population.” UPS plane crashed in Kentucky, killing 3 aboard and 11 on ground In the United States, a UPS flight tragically crashed in Louisville, Kentucky on Tuesday evening last week. The plane crashed just after takeoff, leaving a trail of destruction through businesses and roads. The incident killed the three UPS crew members on board as well as 11 more people.  UPS said in a statement, “Words can't express the sorrow we feel over the heartbreaking Flight 2976 accident. . . . We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of our colleagues, and to the loved ones of those in the Louisville community.” Supreme Court to hear transgender sports case The U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments in cases involving transgender sports next year. The cases come from Idaho and West Virginia. In 2020, Idaho became the first state to require people to compete in sports according to their biological sex. West Virginia passed a similar law in 2021.  Lower courts blocked the laws. The Supreme Court is expected to rule on the cases by next June. SCRUGGS: “Men are coming into women's sports and taking away podium slots and scholarships. “Just in the West Virginia case alone, since the male athlete there started participating, he's taken away over 400 slots of women and displaced girls, 1,100 times.” International Olympic Committee likely to ban transgenders In a related story, BBC Sport reports the International Olympic Committee is likely to ban transgenders next year. The decision would prohibit men, pretending to be women, from competing in women's categories. The ban would likely take effect before the 2028 Summer Olympics to be held in Los Angeles, California.  13th county in America bans abortion Dickens County, Texas is now the 13th county in the nation to outlaw abortion. County leaders voted on Monday in favor of passing a Sanctuary County for the Unborn Ordinance. Dickens County has a population of 1,725 people. And it is the eleventh county in Texas to outlaw abortion. Augustine's influence felt today And finally, today is the birthday of Augustine of Hippo!  The renowned Christian theologian was born on November 13, A.D. 354 in what is modern-day Algeria, Africa.  Augustine's early life was marred by prodigal living. His mother faithfully prayed for him for years before his eventual conversion in his 30s. This took place after he providentially encountered Romans 13:13-14. The verses say, “Let us walk properly as in the daytime, not in … drunkenness … and sensuality. … But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to gratify its desires.”  Augustine would go on to become Bishop of Hippo, a Roman province in North Africa. An able scholar, he turned his mind to the theological battles of his day, producing Christian classics like Confessions and The City of God.  Augustine's life and work would have a dominating influence on Western civilization. The Protestant Reformers, in particular, would quote him extensively in their efforts to reform the church over a thousand years later. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Chinese Communists arrested and detained three Christians Communist authorities in central China arrested and detained three Christians from a house church this month. Two of the Christians are pastors. They are facing trumped up charges of “fraud” and had previously spent over two years in custody. Officials often use such charges against house church leaders for simply receiving tithes and offerings. ChinaAid noted, “In recent years, the charge of ‘fraud' has increasingly been used by local governments across China as a common tactic to suppress pastors of house churches systematically.” Psalm 14:1, 4 says, “The fool has said in his heart, ‘There is no God.' They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none who does good. … Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up My people as they eat bread, and do not call on the LORD?” Japanese soldiers address attacks by bears Japan deployed troops to the northern part of the island country last week to deal with a string of deadly attacks—from bears. Since April of this year, bears have killed at least 13 people in Japan and injured over 100 more. That's the most fatalities on record. Experts are blaming the attacks on a poor acorn harvest this year. Bears are now leaving their natural habitats and wandering into urban areas to find food. In one incident last month, a bear attacked shoppers at a supermarket 80 miles north of Tokyo.   Supreme Court affirms Trump's call for biologically accurate passports In the United States, the U.S. Supreme ruled in favor of the Trump administration in a case involving so-called gender identity.  The ruling allows the State Department to require passports to list the holder's biological sex at birth. The court ruled 6-3 along ideological lines.  The ruling stated, “Displaying passport holders' sex at birth no more offends equal protection principles than displaying their country of birth—in both cases, the government is merely attesting to an historical fact without subjecting anyone to differential treatment.” Nebraska defunded Planned Parenthood Nebraska became the latest state to defund abortion providers like Planned Parenthood.  The state's Republican Governor Jim Pillen  signed an executive order last Thursday to end Medicaid funding to abortion providers. Nebraska made the move after the U.S. Supreme Court allowed South Carolina to defund Planned Parenthood.   Listen to comments from Nebraska State Attorney General Mike Hilgers. HILGERS: “Today is a culmination of years of work to ensure that Nebraska taxpayers no longer have their tax dollars going to fund abortions in the state of Nebraska. It's a fight that has gone on even from my time in the legislature.  “When we first got Title X funds, we stopped Title X from going to abortion providers, and now, thanks to [Nebraska] Governor Pillen's leadership, we have finally gotten to a place where taxpayer funds will no longer support abortions.” Age of first-time home buyer has increased to record high of 40 The National Association of Realtors released their 2025 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers. The share of homes being bought by first-time buyers dropped to a record low of 21% over the last year. Meanwhile, the typical age of a first-time buyer climbed to an all-time high of 40. Jessica Lautz, Deputy Chief Economist for the National Association of Realtors, said, “The historically low share of first-time buyers underscores the real-world consequences of a housing market starved for affordable inventory.” Regular Bible readers are more generous The American Bible Society released a new chapter from its State of the Bible USA 2025 report. The research found people who read the Bible regularly are more likely to be generous. Among Christian denominations, Evangelical Protestants have the highest percentage of givers and the highest median amount given. John Plake with the American Bible Society said, “The correlation between Scripture engagement and loving behavior and generosity is undeniable. The more people engage with Scripture, the more likely they are to give of their time, talents, and treasures and to act lovingly toward their neighbors.” In 1 Corinthians 9:7, the Apostle Paul wrote, “So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.” Florida's first search-and-rescue otter And finally, officials in Florida are deploying their first ever search-and-rescue otter. Splash, the two-year-old otter, is now helping the Martin County Sheriff's Office in search and rescue missions. Splash uses a unique bubble technique to detect scents underwater. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Nigerian Governor denies Christian genocide Just days after Nigerian Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule publicly denied the existence of religious persecution or Christian genocide in Nigeria, about 50 Fulani Muslim gunmen launched a deadly midnight assault on a Christian community in the state.   Three individuals were murdered and others were critically wounded in the massacre.   In protest, hundreds of youths from the community displayed the dead bodies of the victims and blocked traffic until the military showed up to disperse them.  They were protesting the persistent invasions and kidnappings, in hopes of some government intervention. According to Open Doors, Nigeria is the seventh most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. Sudanese civil war claims 70,000 civilian lives The ongoing civil war in Sudan, Africa is bringing untold losses to human life. Approximately, 70,000 civilians were killed in the last year, and the same number the year before. A paramilitary group, known as the “Rapid Support Forces,” is killing civilians with darker skin in the ethnic purge — and then burying the bodies in mass graves, reports Al Jazeera. America invested twice as much in Africa as China did The BBC reports that the U.S. has overtaken China as Africa's biggest investor for the first time since 2012. America invested $7.8 billion in 2023, compared to China's $4 billion. America absent from U.N. Climate Change Conference The 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference kicked off yesterday in Belém, Brazil. Notably, the U.S. federal delegation is absent, reports The Hill.com. 7 Democrats, 1 Independent join GOP to end gov't shutdown The U.S. Democrat Party has experienced a seismic split. In an historic development on the national scene, seven Democrat senators and one Independent senator agreed to a compromise with the Republicans in the U.S. Senate to bring the government shutdown to an end, report The Epoch Times. The defectors were Dick Durbin (D-IL), Catherine Masto (D-NV), Jacky Rosen (D-NV), John Fetterman (D-PA), Tim Kaine (D-VA), Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Maggie Hassan (D-NH), and Angus King (I-ME). The big bone of contention among the Democrats in the shutdown concerned there hope of extending the Obamacare funding of individual and family health insurance.  Health insurers are corrupt and contribute heavily to Democrats Breitbart and American Resolve estimate that health insurers are taking in $1 trillion per year in federal subsidies, thanks to Obamacare. Plus, their stocks are up 1,000% since 2009. These companies contributed five times more funds to the Kamala Harris presidential campaign than they contributed to Donald Trump's campaign. And “Blue Shield of California donated $500,000 and UnitedHealth donated $75,000 to Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom's ballot measure effort, Prop. 50” which could give Democrat and insurance companies five additional seats in Congress. Even more egregious, federal auditors estimate that Medicare Advantage will overbill medical services somewhere in the neighborhood of $1 trillion this decade. Isaiah 1:23 warns of princes who “are rebellious, and companions of thieves. Everyone loves bribes and follows after rewards. They do not defend the fatherless, nor does the cause of the widow come before them.” Tucker Carlson in hot water for Nick Fuentes interview But then, the “conservative right” has their own dumpster fire going after Tucker Carlson interviewed Nick Fuentes. (It was a 2-hour-long interview). Ben Shapiro, the conservative founder of The Daily Wire, referred to Carlson as the “most virulent super-spreader of vile ideas in America.”  Mark Levin layered on another epithet for Carlson, calling the conservative talk show host a “Nazi promoter. " And Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas called the Fuentes interview “cowardly and complicit." Supremes unlikely to affirm Trump's tariffs According to the SCOTUS BLOG, the U.S. Supreme Court appears doubtful as to the constitutionality of the Trump tariffs.   Both Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Neil Gorsuch appeared skeptical in the oral arguments which took place last Wednesday.  Supreme Court will not reverse homosexual marriage The U.S. Supreme Court will not reverse Obergefell.   The high court issued their decision Monday to let the 2015 decision stand — codifying the legitimization of faux marriage for those living in unnatural relations, men with men, and women with women — here in the United States. The justices rejected an appeal from former Kentucky County Clerk Kim Davis — who had refused to issue marriage licenses to homosexual couples — on the basis of her religious beliefs. A few weeks ago, Justice Amy Barrett admitted her reluctance to oppose the homosexual campaign for same-sex faux marriage because of what she called "very concrete reliance interests,” reports the New York Times. These apparently did not include God's interests. In a speech Justice Samuel Alito gave a few months ago, he called the Obergefell decision a “precedent of the court that is entitled to the respect afforded by the doctrine of stare decisis.”   That's a legal term meaning the policy of following principles laid down in previous judicial decisions. Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel was quite disappointed.  He said, “The majority of Supreme Court Justices know Obergefell is wrong, and this case should have been granted review and reversed that unconstitutional opinion. We are committed to overturning Obergefell. Like the abortion issue in Roe v. Wade, the Obergefell opinion has no basis in the U.S. Constitution.” The Prophet Micah issued this lament in Chapter 7:2-4. “The faithful man has perished from the Earth, and there is no one upright among men. They all lie in wait for blood; The best of them is like a brier; The most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge; The day of your watchman and your punishment comes; Now shall be their perplexity.” Household debt shot up by 30% Total U.S. household debt has registered a 30% increase since 2020 — now at $18.5 trillion. And, the U.S. dollar has weakened against major currencies this year by about 10%. That's the worst performance since the Nixon presidency.   Meanwhile, gold has increased about 60% in value this year to date. Average American wedding costs $33,000 And finally, in other economic news, The Knot reveals that the average wedding now costs $33,000. And couples who invite over 140 guests will need to pay $40,000. The price tag is location dependent.  New York weddings run $48,000 while Wyoming weddings average $17,000. To compare, the cost of the average starter home in America this year, by RedFin's metric, is $260,000 with a down payment of $16,900. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Syria's President to visit White House in historic first ​​ Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa is slated to visit the White House today, marking the first-ever visit by a Syrian president to Washington, D.C., reports International Christian Concern.  Al-Sharaa seized power in December 2024 after a rapid coup that toppled longtime dictator Bashar al-Assad.  In the months since coming to power, al-Sharaa has reached out to various religious and ethnic minority groups. However, he has also garnered significant criticism from minority groups and international human rights organizations, which point to the repeated massacres of Druze and Alawite civilians. At a recent Capitol Hill event titled “Fortifying Religious Freedom in Syria,” civil society groups gathered in support of decentralization. Speakers included Nadine Maenza, Ambassador Sam Brownback, Rep. Frank Wolf, and representatives of the Druze, Alawite, Kurdish, and Christian communities.  Al-Sharaa is moving toward a system that grants the central government significant authority, rather than a federated system in which local areas retain robust self-determination.  Some analysts predict that al-Sharaa's deep roots in Islamic jihad will lead to further attacks on ethnic and religious minority communities. Sharaa began his career with the Islamic State in Iraq, before creating his own al-Qaida-aligned militant group in Syria.  1,100 flights canceled Sunday amid nationwide air travel disruption On Sunday, more than 1,100 flights were cancelled across the country according to the FlightAware website, as the Federal Aviation Administration limited capacity at 40 major U.S. airports amid the longest government shutdown in American history, reports ABC News. On Saturday, 1,521 flights were canceled and 6,400 flights were delayed.  Defund Planned Parenthood by America's 250th birthday A coalition of pro-life groups led by Lila Rose of Live Action set as its next mission the passage of a permanent nationwide defunding of Planned Parenthood before the one-year-ban in the current law expires that will also coincide with the 250th anniversary of the United States, reports LifeSiteNews.com. This past July, President Donald Trump signed into law his so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill, a wide-ranging tax and spending package that contains a one-year ban on federal tax dollars going through Medicaid to any entity that provides abortions for reasons other than rape, incest, or supposed threats to the mother's life. That law forced the closure of numerous abortion mills. Rose said, “We cannot celebrate [250 years of] freedom while subsidizing the killing of American children.” Republicans have already proposed standalone measures to fully cut off Planned Parenthood's government funding: the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act, which permanently bans federal funds from being used for abortion; and the Defund Planned Parenthood Act, which disqualifies Planned Parenthood and its affiliates specifically. More Americans are reading the Bible but fewer believe it's 100% accurate With Millennials and Generation Z leading the way, particularly among men, Bible reading among U.S. adults in 2025 is at its highest level in the last 15 years, reports The Christian Post. The initiative by Barna Group and Gloo collected data from 12,116 online interviews conducted between January and October 2025. The research revealed that approximately 50% of self-identified Christians report reading the Bible weekly, the highest level of Bible reading among Christians in more than a decade. Weekly Bible reading among all U.S. adults reached its lowest point in 15 years in 2024 when it hit 30%. In 2025, the figure rebounded 12 percentage points to 42%. Approximately 50% of Millennials reported reading the Bible weekly, representing a 16-point increase from the previous year. Bible reading among Gen Z increased by a staggering 19 points, from 30% a year ago to 49% in 2025. Gen X currently stands at 41%. Sadly, despite more Americans reporting regular Bible reading, fewer maintain that the Bible is 100% accurate. Only 36% of Americans now hold that the Bible is 100% accurate. In 2000, this share was 43%. Just 44% of self-identified Christians strongly affirmed the accuracy of the Bible. Proverbs 30:5 says, "Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.” Two farmers rescue 20 kids from burning school bus And finally, last week, two California farmers were honored for being the first ones to help save over 20 students aboard a school bus that caught fire, reports GoodNewsNetwork.org. Long before the Madera County Fire Department arrived on scene on September 4th, Angel Zarco and Carlos Perea were there.  Providentially, they were repairing their tractor at the time. In fact, the pair noticed the smoke billowing from the back of the bus even before the bus driver did. Carlos Perea recognized it was God's perfect timing. PEREA: “God put us in that place for a reason, that was to help. Help out the kids.” Angel Zarco explained they jumped into action. ZARCO: “We were just making sure that the kids were far away enough so they wouldn't get hurt.” The men made their way through the dark smoke to reach the final children in the back row.   ZARCO: “The bus caught fire right away, probably within like two minutes, three minutes. It all happened right away.” They evacuated all the students on board before hightailing it to a safe distance as the school bus burst into flames. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Indian Christians rally for rights The Christian Community in the central Indian state of Chhattisgarh has planned to organize a public rally in protest of the ongoing discrimination against Christians there, reports International Christian Concern. The Civil Rights Rally is being organized by Rashtriya Christian Morcha, a nation-wide civil rights advocacy group, in association with the Christian community in Kanker. They seek to uphold justice, equality, and the values of the Indian Constitution. No date has been set. Numerous Hindu villages in the Kanker district previously erected billboards banning the entry of pastors and “converted Christians,” creating fear among members of the Christian minority. The warnings declared these villages off-limits to Christian missionaries and evangelists, citing provisions of a 1996 law. In Acts 4:18, Jesus' disciples faced similar restrictions. “Then [the Sanhedrin] called them in again and commanded [the disciples of Christ] not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus.” Senator Cruz: Democratic victories were “an electoral blowout” Appearing on Sean Hannity's Fox TV talk show on Wednesday, the day after the Democrats won the races for governor in Virginia and New Jersey as well as for New York City mayor, Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas sounded the alarm. CRUZ:  “Last night was a disaster. It was an electoral blowout. The results in New Jersey were disastrous. The results in Virginia were terrible. The results in in New York: Comrade [Zohran] Mamdani is the face of the Democrat Party. “We have an actual communist jihadist. And it's important to note, Mamdani is not a socialist. He is a full-on communist. He is called for seizing the means of production in our economy. He is a Marxist. That is profoundly dangerous. “And look, I know there's some Republicans who are saying, ‘Well, gosh, this will be good politically, because they'll be the face of the Democrat Party.'  I think it's terrible for America. New York is the largest city in America. It is the financial capital of the world; it's the media capital of the world. This is a lunatic who wants to abolish the police. This is a jihadist who cheers on the radicals and the terrorists who chant ‘Globalize the Intifada.'” Senator Cruz explained that the Democrats are fired up and if Republicans don't wake up, they could lose the Congress in the 2026 mid-term election. CRUZ: “Last night should be a warning sign. It should be a warning sign to Republicans across this country. The left. They're energized. They're angry. Democrats are out raising Republicans right now, 3-1, 4-1. “I think, on our side, the Republicans, and they're just people who are common sense in the middle, who I fear are feeling potentially complacent. That is really, really dangerous. The left showed up in big numbers last night, and common sense conservatives did not if that happens a year from now, we face disaster in the midterms.” Most major US airports are among 40 targeted for shutdown flight cuts Airports in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago are among 40 of the busiest across America where flights will be cut starting Friday due to the government shutdown, reports The Associated Press. The Federal Aviation Administration announced Wednesday it would reduce air traffic by 10% across “high-volume” markets to maintain travel safety as air traffic controllers go unpaid and exhibit signs of strain during the shutdown. The affected airports in more than two dozen states include the busiest ones across the U.S., including Atlanta, Denver, Dallas, Orlando, Miami, and San Francisco. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi retires at 85 Nancy Pelosi, the first female speaker of the House and one of the most powerful women in modern American politics, will retire from Congress next year, reports Politico.com. The San Francisco liberal Democrat, who announced her decision Thursday, had come under increasing pressure to step aside amid her party's widening generational divide. Now 85, she defied political observers in 2023 when she ran for a 20th congressional term despite Democrats losing the House and her speakership the year before. But next year, she faced a tougher-than-expected group of primary challengers. Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America gave Pelosi a grade of “F” on the life issue.  Most recently, she opposed protecting babies who are born alive after an attempted abortion and she supported using taxpayer dollars under the Biden-Harris administration to pay for a female soldier to travel to get an abortion. Pelosi also faced personal struggles in recent years that fueled speculation about her political future. Just before the 2022 midterms, David DePape broke into the Pelosi's San Francisco mansion and attacked Paul Pelosi, her husband, with a hammer. He was sentenced to life in prison. And last year, she underwent hip replacement surgery after suffering an injury while traveling. Singer alleges Gold's Gym terminated membership after complaint about man in women's locker room A Los Angeles-based singer is calling for a boycott of Gold's Gym after claiming her membership was terminated for raising concerns about a man, who was pretending to be a woman, who was allowed in the women's locker room, reports The Christian Post. In a video shared on social media on November 2, Tish Hyman, age 42, was seen confronting a man named Grant Freeman, who goes by the name “Alexis,” wearing earrings and a necklace in the women's locker room of a Gold's Gym location at Beverly Center.  Hyman said the gym “had me escorted out by officers afterwards. It was EMBARRASSING! I left but not before making sure everyone KNEW that they were allowing MEN in the [women's] locker room!” In response to Hyman's viral videos, women's advocate and former swimmer Riley Gaines cheered on her protest in a November 3 post. The swimmer wrote, “If we saw boldness like this back in 2020, this insanity would've never been allowed to fester like it has. God bless you for speaking the truth loudly.” Genesis 1:27 says, “God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created Him; male and female He created them.” 1,200-pound polar bear gleefully eats 1,400-pound giant pumpkin And finally, it's not everyday that Henry, the polar bear, sees something that weighs more than he does. At 1,200-pounds, the polar bear was initially defensive when he saw a giant 1,400-pound pumpkin sitting in his enclosure at The Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat in Ontario, Canada, a sanctuary for polar bears in need of human care, reports GoodNewsNetwork.org. Henry eventually dug into the sweet, crunchy flesh of the mammoth yellow pumpkin. The photos will steal a chuckle out of anyone. The polar bear habitat often receive presents for their bears around Polar Bear Awareness Week. One amusing photo shows Henry, the Polar Bear, in something of a food coma after eating about a third of the pumpkin in one sitting.  Sounds like our post-Thanksgiving sprawl on the couch after too much turkey, sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie. On October 28, Muslim Fulani bandits killed Rev. Yahaya Kambasaya and kidnapped 20 of his church members in central Nigeria. In a neighboring state, militants killed nine Christians in a string of attacks between October 31 and November 3.  A Christian attorney in the area told Morning Star News, “These incidents occurred even when they were preceded with an early warning alert given to relevant authorities.”  Hamas returns body of American hostage Hamas, the Palestinian Muslim terrorist group, returned to Israel the body of the last American hostage it was holding in Gaza on Tuesday.  Itay Chen was a 19-year-old Israeli-American soldier. He was killed and taken hostage during the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.  U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio posted on X, “We honor his life, mourn his loss, and stand by his family.”  Muslim socialist Zohran Mamdani elected as New York City mayor In the United States, Democrats won several elections after voters went to the polls on Tuesday. Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic socialist, won the race for mayor of New York City, and gave his victory speech Tuesday night. MAMDANI: “The sun may have set over our city this evening, but as Eugene Debs once said, (cheering) ‘I can see the dawn of a better day for humanity.'  (cheering) “For as long as we can remember, the working people of New York have been told by the wealthy and the well-connected that power does not belong in their hands. Fingers bruised from lifting boxes on the warehouse floor, palms calloused from delivery bike handle bars, knuckles scarred with kitchen burns. These are not hands that have been allowed to hold power. And yet, over the last 12 months, you have dared to reach for something greater. (cheering) Tonight, against all odds, we have grasped it. (cheering) The future is in our hands. (cheering) “My friends, we have toppled a political dynasty.” (cheering) He is now the first Muslim mayor of the biggest U.S. city, who beat former Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo. NBC News reported that Zohran Mamdani got 50.4% of the vote, former Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo got 41.6%, and Republican Curtis Sliwa got 7.1% On CNN, conservative commentator Scott Jennings explained who Eugene Debbs was whom Mamdani quoted with great admiration. JENNINGS: “He started his speech by quoting Eugene Debs, who ran for president of the United States five times as the Socialist Party of America candidate. “He went after everybody that he thinks is a problem. People who own things, people who have businesses. He said an interesting quote, ‘No problem too large for government to solve.' And so, when you think of the world that way, that every problem is something for government to do, let me just decipher this for you. “Tax increases as far as the eye can see which means the people who need to provide jobs, to the young people that you say need jobs, are going to flee as quickly as they possibly can. “He clearly sees the world in terms of the people who are oppressing you and the oppressed. And he said, ‘The oppressed are now in city hall.'” Democrat victories in other blue states There were two other notable Democratic victories. Democrat Abigail Spanberger won the race for governor of Virginia with 56.3%, becoming the first woman to do so, reported NBC News.  She beat Winsome Sears, who got 43.2% of the vote, and served as the Republican Lt. Governor under the term-limited Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin. And Democrat Mikie Sherrill won the race for governor of New Jersey with 56.3% of the vote, keeping the position in the hands of Democrats, and beating Republican Jack Ciattarelli. Vice President J.D. Vance responded to the elections on X. He said there's no reason to “overreact to a couple of elections in blue states.” But he also added, “We have to do better at turning out voters than we have in the past.” Republican leaders prayed for America Republican leaders and lawmakers joined with the Family Research Council for a time of prayer last Thursday. PERKINS: “Jesus said this in Matthew chapter 18:19. “He says, ‘Again, I say to you, if two of you agree on Earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in Heaven. We gather in the name of Jesus to pray and ask for His hand, the Lord's hand of guidance, the Holy Spirit to lead us.” And listen to some of the closing prayer from Dr. Ben Carson, former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.  CARSON: “Lord, we come before you today to pray for our nation. You have blessed the United States with freedom and opportunity and a rich legacy of faith. You're bringing us together this evening through electronic media. But we know You're with us always. And we ask, in the name of Jesus, that you would bless us and bless this nation. Amen.” Vatican rejects Mary, mother of Jesus, as co-Redeemer On Tuesday, the Roman Catholic Church rejected Mary, the mother of Jesus, as the “co-Redeemer” of the world. The Vatican's top doctrinal office stated, “Any gaze directed at her that distracts us from Christ or that places her on the same level as the Son of God would fall outside the dynamic proper to an authentically Marian faith.” However, World Magazine notes the statement does not affirm a Protestant perspective on Mary. The Evangelical publication wrote, “Protestants believe Mary was ‘highly favored' by the Lord, but they do not believe she has an active role in the lives of believers.” 1 Timothy 2:5 says, “For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.” Construction begins on Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer And finally, constructions begins this week on what is set to be the largest Christian monument in the United Kingdom. It's called the Eternal Wall of Answered Prayer. The design for it is in the shape of an infinity loop called a Möbius strip, a surface which has neither beginning nor end. It will stand 170 feet tall and made out of one million bricks. Each brick will be linked to a story of answered prayer. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Vulnerable Asian and African girls kidnapped, abused, converted to Islam Christian women and girls are easy targets for persecution in South Asian and African nations. Last Tuesday, a panel at the World Evangelical Alliance's 14th General Assembly shared details. For example, girls in Nigeria, Sudan, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo are often kidnapped, abused, and forced to convert to Islam. Even if they escape, they often face rejection after returning to their families, communities, or churches.  The panel called for better care for the women and girls subjected to such persecution. In Matthew 25:40, Jesus said, “Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.” Finnish stateswoman on trial again for affirming Biblical sexuality Speaking of persecuted women, a Christian woman in Finland is on trial for posting online about her biblical views on marriage and sexuality.  Last Thursday, the country's Supreme Court heard the case of Päivi Räsänen, a 65-year-old Finnish Member of Parliament. The state prosecution of her religious expression continues despite lower courts clearing her of wrongdoing. Listen to her recent comments to CitizenGo.  RÄSÄNEN: “This has been my calling. This has been some kind of privilege, to defend these very crucial values, to defend the freedom of speech and freedom of faith, because that is what we need just now. And also to bring the teachings of the Bible in public.” Lutheran Bishop Juhana Pohjola is also on trial in the case. He said, “I think it is important that Christians continue to be able to defend Christian marriage and the Christian view of humanity without fear.” In 2 Thessalonians 1:8, the Apostle Paul wrote “Therefore, do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the Gospel according to the power of God.” 40 Days for Life has saved 25,000 babies from abortion 40 Days for Life completed its latest campaign on Sunday. Pro-lifers mobilized for vigils in 671 cities worldwide for the last 40 days.  Shawn Carney, president of the pro-life group, said, “Thanks to your prayers and God's generosity, we continue to receive reports of babies who were scheduled to be aborted--but are instead alive and well!” In some cities, vigils are continuing year-round through the 40 Days for Life 365 initiative. Since 2007, 40 Days for Life has saved over 25,000 babies from abortion.  Former Vice President Dick Cheney died In the United States, former Vice President Dick Cheney died on Monday at the age of 84. His family said in a statement that he died from complications of pneumonia and cardiac and vascular disease.  The statement noted, “Dick Cheney was a great and good man who taught his children and grandchildren to love our country, and to live lives of courage, honor, love, kindness, and fly fishing.” Sadly, Cheney supported homosexual faux marriage because his daughter, Mary Cheney, married her lesbian lover, Heather Poe. Cheney was known as one of the most influential vice presidents in U.S. history. He served as vice president under both terms of President George W. Bush. He was a key yet controversial leader in the “War on Terror” following the 9/11 terrorists attacks. Cheney was a member of the United Methodist Church. He was also the first Methodist vice president to serve under a Methodist president. U.S. Episcopal Church shrinking for anti-Biblical stances The U.S. Episcopal Church released its 2024 Parochial Report last month. And it's not good news. Not surprisingly, the mainline Protestant denomination reported fewer baptisms and a drop in the total number of parishes -- no doubt the result of the Episcopal Church's rejection of Biblical authority and an embrace of sodomy and baby killing through abortion. Worship attendance did increase last year, but is still down compared to a decade ago. At its rate of decline, the denomination could have no Sunday attendance in 30 years. Deuteronomy 4:2 warns, “Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.” Slight decrease in U.S. obesity rate And finally, Gallup reports obesity rates are declining in the U.S. The adult obesity rate stands at 37% this year. That's down from a high of 39.9% in 2022 but up from 25.5% in 2008. While obesity rates have declined recently, diagnoses of diabetes have reached an all-time high of 13.8%. That's up slightly from 10.6% in 2008. The use of weight loss injectable drugs has risen sharply over the past year. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Trump adds Nigeria as Country of Particular Concern The President of the United States announced Friday that Nigeria will be added to the State Department's list of Countries of Particular Concern in regards to Christian persecution, reports ABC News. A "Country of Particular Concern" is a designation given by the U.S. government to a country that has engaged in or tolerated "systematic, ongoing, and egregious violations of religious freedom.” This designation, made by the President or Secretary of State under the International Religious Freedom Act, indicates severe religious freedom violations like torture, prolonged detention for religious reasons, or religiously inspired murder. A Country of Particular Concern designation can lead to diplomatic pressure or economic sanctions. Trump threatens Nigerian Islamic terrorists with swift justice President Trump added this passionate statement to his Truth Social on Sunday.  He wrote, “If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, ‘guns-a-blazing,' to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.  “I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians! WARNING: THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT BETTER MOVE FAST!” In response, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said on X, "The killing of innocent Christians in Nigeria, and anywhere, must end immediately. The Department of War is preparing for action. Either the Nigerian government protects Christians, or we will kill the Islamic terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.” Last month, Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas commented on X that "Officials in Nigeria are ignoring and even facilitating the mass murder of Christians by Islamist jihadists.” Mainstream media outlets sidestep Nigerian genocide In recent news reports, the Associated Press, the Washington Post, the New York Times, and other mainstream media sources continue ignoring, minimizing, or outright rejecting the world's most egregious genocide at present -- the mass killing of Christians in Nigeria, Africa. At the same time, Genocide Watch has issued a “Genocide Emergency” for Nigeria —citing the mass slayings of Christians.   The organization considers Nigeria to have entered what they call Stage 9: Extermination and Stage 10: Denial — with this particular genocide.  Over the last 15 years, a report from the International Society for Religious Liberties and the Rule of Law counts 189,000 Nigerians slaughtered in cold blood by radical Muslims, of which 125,000 plus were Christians.   In addition, 19,100 churches were destroyed, and more than 1,100 Christian communities sacked. Nigerian Bishop upset that some deny there's a Christian genocide Bishop David Abioye of the Nigerian Conqueror Global Assembly spoke recently of the genocide, correcting what he called “the distortion of truth.” ABIOYE: “There's a lot of distortion going on. People claiming that there is no genocide of Christians in the nation. You see people buried [by the] hundreds, and you say there is no genocide. What a wicked set of people. I agree there are people killed in other place for other reasons.  “But this one is very clear, and gradually it's eating down to the South, Southwest, Southeast. Many so-called leaders, for their personal interest, are claiming it's not true, selling out their faith, if they have it at all.” Romans 13 calls the ruler or president “God's minister to you for good,” noting “he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil.”  Texas Supreme Court allows judges not to perform homosexual weddings Is Obergefell on ice?   That's the 2015 Supreme Court ruling which purportedly legalized same-sex mirage in this country.  The Texas Supreme Court has ruled that judges who refuse to perform homosexual faux marriage ceremonies will no longer face disciplinary action for their decisions, reports The Christian Post. This comes right as the US Supreme Court will be discussing the same issue, scheduled for this Friday. Kim Davis, the former Kentucky county clerk, has appealed her case, where she was convicted for refusing to issue marriage licenses to homosexual couples after the Obergefell decision came down in 2015. Reformed pastor arrested for soliciting prostitutes A Presbyterian Church in America pastor from Tulsa, Oklahoma has been arrested on charges of soliciting prostitutes, reports ChurchLeaders.com. Jeremy Fair, senior pastor of Christ Presbyterian Church, was one of five men implicated in a sting operation. The church has placed the pastor on indefinite leave, according to a statement issued by the session. U.S. government shutdown about to become longest in history The current American government shutdown is about to round its fifth week, or 35th day.  If the shutdown continues through tomorrow, this will be the longest in U.S. history — exceeding the record set during the first Trump administration in 2019. Because of the ongoing financial crisis, President Donald Trump is urging the Senate Republicans to scrap the 60-vote filibuster threshold in favor of the simple-majority passage of legislation. However, on Monday, Senate Majority Leader John Thune said there's not enough support among Republican senators to eliminate the filibuster, reports Politico.com.  However, Senator Thune did express optimism about the Senate's resolution of the shutdown this week, reports CBS News. Trump admin will partially fund November food stamps On Monday, the Trump administration agreed to move billions of emergency dollars to partially pay for food aid this month in response to a federal judge's order, though some families may not receive benefits for weeks, according to Politico.com. Officials will use $4.65 billion from the USDA's contingency fund to support roughly half of food stamp participants' “current allotments” as the shutdown drags on, according to a new legal filing. Help victims of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica, Cuba, and Haiti Late last week, Category-5 Hurricane Melissa clobbered Jamaica, Cuba, and Haiti, leveling whole towns, and killing 67 people, 32 of whom were in Jamaica, reports NBC News. [and] having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof...” Catholic World Report has released numbers on nations aborting children with Down syndrome.   Iceland aborts nearly 100%, Denmark 98%, and Australia and the United Kingdom are killing about 90%  of its babies conceived with Down's Syndrome. The UK Gospel Witness, including a group of reformed pastors, will be gathering at the U.K. Parliament building on Thursday, to call the nation and its leaders to repentance.  Pray for this outreach. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Blind Pakistani Christian man falsely accused of blasphemy against Muhammad Nadeem Masih, a 49-year-old blind Christian in Pakistan, has been arrested and charged with blasphemy against the false prophet Muhammad, punishable by death, reports Morning Star News. Martha Yousaf, his nearly 80-year-old mother, said that Waqas Mazhar, a Muslim man, often harasses her son, sometimes extorting money from him and other times throwing water on him or calling him names. Mazhar, the Muslim, works as a parking contractor in Lahore, where her blind son earns a meager income providing a weighing scale for petty merchants. She said, “Sometimes kindhearted visitors would also give him more money due to his disability, but the park's Muslim workers used to steal it from his pocket.” Some, including Mazhar, had also taken loans of various amounts from the Christian blind man but refused to return the money despite his repeated requests. When Masih went to work on August 21, Mazhar and other mean Muslims refused to let him set up his makeshift stall, roughed him up and took him to the police station where the police, to their shame, mercilessly beat the blind Christian man and forced him to admit to the false blasphemy charge. In John 15:18, 21, Jesus said, “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated Me first. …  They will treat you this way because of My name, for they do not know the One who sent Me.” Human Rights Watch said, “Blasphemy [against Muhammad] accusations are increasingly weaponized to incite mob violence, displace vulnerable communities, and seize their property with impunity.” Pakistan ranked eighth on Open Doors' 2025 World Watch List of the 50 most dangerous countries for Christians. King Charles III strips Prince Andrew of title and housing Last Thursday, King Charles III made a shock announcement  confirming that he will strip Prince Andrew, his brother, of both his title and his housing at the Royal Lodge, a lavish 30-room property, which sits in close proximity to Windsor Castle, reports the New York Post. In Andrew Lownie's biography Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, he documents that during a taxpayer-funded trip to Thailand, “Andrew had 40 prostitutes brought in the space of four days. This was all enabled by diplomats.” Appearing on Good Morning Britain, Lownie said this about Prince Andrew. LOWNIE: “He's been caught lying time and time again. I suddenly found researching my book, you couldn't take a single thing he said without checking it. And I think the King [Charles III] has realized that he hasn't been telling the truth. And so, the evidence against Andrew is overwhelming.” Plus, Virginia Giuffre, who died by suicide earlier this year, claimed in her posthumously-released memoir, Nobody's Girl, that Prince Andrew sexually assaulted her three times when she was 17, which he has denied. Numbers 32:23 says, “Be sure your sin will find you out." Democrat Senator John Fetterman: “We have to be better than this!” On Darkins Breaking News, Democratic U.S. Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania  took issue with his fellow Democrats for voting to shut down the U.S. government 13 times in a row. FETTERMAN:  “We're a Democrat, we're not allowed to just open this up. I mean, then our party has bigger problems than I thought we might have already. That's not controversial. Pay everybody. It's a failure. “And to all of the viewers, I'm apologizing that we can't even get together and just open up our government.” REPORTER: “[Minority Leader Senator Chuck] Schumer said, ‘This gets better politically every day for Democrats.'  What do you say to that?” FETTERMAN:  “Ask the hungry people on Saturday. Americans are not leverage. This is not some game show about who's winning or whatever. We have to be better than this.” As a result of the Democrats' refusal to fund the government, 41 million Americans, who receive food stamps now, will not receive them starting this past Saturday. Plus, the pleas of the largest federal workers' union fell on deaf ears, reports NBC News. Speaker Johnson contrasts Trump's wins with Democrat clowns Appearing on Sean Hannity's TV talk show, House Speaker Mike Johnson, a Republican from Louisiana, provided a contrast between President Trump's successes of delivering tax cuts, a strong border, a reduction in crime and world peace with the Democrats in the U.S. Senate who have voted 13 times to shut down the government. JOHNSON: “What stands out tonight is the stunning contrast of what we're seeing. History is being made. “Here's President Trump showing peace through strength, using his power and position to bring peace to the Middle East. I mean, a truly massive, historic foreign policy achievement, returning hostages, restoring security to Israel, setting a foundation for lasting peace, and reducing taxes on hard-working Americans at the same time and ending the border crisis and ending the crime crisis, and reducing fraud, waste and abuse in government, and now settling international conflicts all around the globe. “Here are the Democrats on Capitol Hill acting like a bunch of clowns. They're trying to lie to the American people. They're trying to play politics with government funding, and real Americans are being harmed. I think there is such a stark contrast. “I'm not sure there has ever been such a stronger contrast between two political parties, the Republican Party is delivering for the American people and the Democrats trying to make a show out of this.” The 13th U.S. Senate vote on October 28th was 54-45, with only three members of the Democratic caucus voting to reopen the government, reports The Hill. They include Senators John Fetterman of Pennsylvania, Catherine Masto of Nevada, and Angus King of Maine, an independent who caucuses with Democrats.    It needed 60 votes to advance.  The "60-vote rule" in the Senate refers to the cloture vote needed to end a filibuster, which is a tactic that allows the minority party to delay or block legislation.  Initially, after the first cloture rule was adopted in 1917, ending a filibuster required a two-thirds majority or 67 votes. In 1975, the threshold was reduced to the current 60 votes or three-fifths majority. Trump flirts with nuclear option to end Senate filibuster President Donald Trump has flirted with the idea of the so-called nuclear option which would deep-six the cloture vote altogether, enabling the majority party to pass legislation with a simply majority vote. On TruthSocial last Thursday, he wrote, “It is now time for the Republicans to play their ‘TRUMP CARD,' and go for what is called the Nuclear Option — Get rid of the Filibuster, and get rid of it, NOW! “WE are in power, and if we did what we should be doing, it would IMMEDIATELY end this ridiculous, country-destroying ‘SHUT DOWN.'”  However, President Trump does not appear to have enough votes from within the Republican caucus to end the filibuster. The Democratic shutdown is animated, in part, by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York's concern that Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York has a commanding 21 percentage point lead over Schumer in a hypothetical match-up in a Democratic Senatorial primary for 2028, reports Newsweek. This is the second longest government shutdown in American history. The longest one lasted 34 days during the first Trump administration, reports CBS News. 61 Planned Parenthood abortion centers have closed in 2025 And finally, Troy Newman, president of the pro-life group Operation Rescue, had some great news, reports LifeNews.com.  He said, “61 Planned Parenthood locations in total (including referral centers) have shut their doors since our 2024 survey — a record number.” The ripple effect of President Trump's Big, Beautiful Bill is saving lots of babies from abortion. Planned Parenthood was defunded $600 million of taxpayer money for a year which has resulted in these inevitable closures. Speaking of Prophet Jeremiah in the womb, God said, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you.”  (Jeremiah 1:5) That divine statement is true of each of us.
