EPISODE: Egypt Reawakens — The Fall of the False Light Empires in the Coaching & Spiritual Communities The veil has lifted. The architecture of illusion is collapsing—and a divine broadcast has begun. In this multi-dimensional transmission, I reveal what's truly unfolding behind the scenes of the spiritual and coaching industries. The discovery and dismantling of the black ankh fallen architecture has activated a frequency encoded with resurrection, ascension, and divine union. This signal is not only awakening humanity—it is deeply impacting twin flames, collapsing old hierarchies, and opening a new era of soul-level sovereignty. Many starseeds and spiritual leaders have unknowingly held contracts to reconnect the collective consciousness to hidden timelines—through karmic clearing, soul memory activation, and deep inner work. But as light rises, so too does the shadow. False light has infiltrated. We're witnessing the rise of false gurus, idol worship, and distortion masquerading as leadership. Social media has become a battleground where feminine fields are being hijacked, voice is being diluted, and individuation is suppressed. What's missing? Shadow work. Soul consciousness. Authenticity. Truth. Inside this episode:
Carol highlights the urgent need to reform the law, especially concerning coercion and control in legislative practices. She focuses exclusively on clients who have endured sexual abuse and coercion within cultic groups—not because other forms of abuse are absent, but because the law currently recognizes and addresses this specific type of abuse. The legal system inadequately acknowledges coercion in cases where individuals surrender significant amounts of money to cults or relinquish their rights to education, marriage, parenthood, or the choice not to have children. The law appears to narrowly define coercion, primarily in the context of sexual exploitation. The law also fails to recognize the deception involved when individuals are promised enlightenment through sexual relations with cult leaders, as it does not categorize this as fraud due to its religious context. There should be a legal distinction between legitimate religions deserving of tax exemptions and those that systematically defraud, enslave, or control individuals through coercion. We should not grant tax benefits to organizations that violate the law. Yet, currently, there is no clear standard for religious tax exemptions beyond the essential requirement that organizations do not operate as commercial enterprises. Merchasin is a former partner at Morgan, Lewis, and Bockius in Philadelphia, where she was an employment lawyer investigating issues of sexual misconduct in the workplace. She is currently the head of Sexual Misconduct in Spiritual Communities Counsel at the law firm of McAllister Olivarius, which represents survivors of sexual misconduct in cults and spiritual communities. Thomas and Panu discussed the intersection of spirituality and climate change. Specifically, Panu shared his work on the challenges faced by individuals who experience spiritual crises when their ecological fears or grief aren't validated in their religious community, and who may feel isolated and unsupported. This may lead to feelings of combined ecological and spiritual grief. Faith leaders are in a key position regarding the validation of such feelings. Coping requires a holistic approach that recognizes the connections between spirituality and environmental values, finding support, and constructive engagement with climate emotions and with climate action in spiritual and religious communities.

I'm excited to jam both figuratively and literally with one of my new favorite artists, Brad Skistimas, aka Five Times August. Brad's unique, truth-forward approach to music and songwriting is one I'm particularly drawn to. What sets Brad apart is his fearless dive into protest music during the COVID era – with powerful tracks like the viral “Sad Little Man”.In early 2021, Brad began releasing songs that critiqued regulations and political figures. Despite censorship battles on platforms like YouTube and Facebook, his messages resonated deeply, garnering millions of views. His album, Silent War, reached impressive ranks on Amazon and Apple Music charts. In 2023, with Baste Records' support, Brad continued his mission with Ain't No Rock And Roll (a song I've listened to on repeat), challenging mainstream artists to speak out against tyranny. In this episode, Brad shares his unique approach to songwriting and recording, which sets him apart in the music industry, and gives us a live performance of Ain't No Rock And Roll. We explore the cultural shifts in rock and roll, examining why the genre – once a symbol of counterculture – has seemingly aligned with harmful mainstream narratives.Brad opens up about the importance of artists speaking truth to power and the potential redemption for those who supported controversial vaccine campaigns. He also delves into his spiritual journey and how it influences his music, from finding a resonant church community to integrating his beliefs into his lyrics. We'll also touch on broader themes like the formation of new countercultural movements within the arts, the importance of building supportive communities outside mainstream systems, and the silver linings of recent challenging years. Brad's perspective on reconnecting with authenticity and diversity in the arts offers hope and inspiration. Get ready to explore the evolution of an artist who's unafraid to speak his truth and challenge the status quo.DISCLAIMER: This podcast is presented for educational and exploratory purposes only. Dr. Mark Clark is a renowned professor of political science specializing in national security studies, who found his Christian faith during his tenure in the Marine Corps, leading him to develop a keen interest in international politics and conflicts. Dr. Clark perceives Daniel as an exemplary figure that represents an ideal Christian, particularly in terms of respecting authority and maintaining righteousness amidst adversity. His studies of Daniel and his attributes, such as a strong work ethic and incorruptibility, have substantially influenced Dr. Clark's approach towards politics and conflict resolution. This study has also been instrumental in teaching him how to navigate complex situations in his career. Furthermore, his understanding and interpretation of other biblical figures such as John the Baptist, Abraham, and the apostles have underlined the value of learning from biblical examples to guide one's actions in contemporary political and societal contexts. Mark T. Clark, Ph. D., is an Emeritus Professor of Political Science and National Security Studies at California State University, San Bernardino. In addition to his career, Clark has co-hosted the TBN series Reasons to Believe, co-authored Lights in the Sky and Little Green Men (2002) with Hugh Ross and Ken Samples, and is a member of the Scholar Community at Reasons to Believe. Welcome to "The Healthy Healer" podcast. I'm your host, Dr. Fred Moss. Through sustained conversations, we delve deep into the journeys of healers who've found their purpose after personal transformation. Many enter the healing profession with aspirations only to grapple with reality—endless training, unexpected responsibilities, and even disillusionment. But there are those who rise above, harnessing personal healing and rediscovering their passion. Our podcast features these inspiring souls who've returned to the healing profession, stronger and more aligned than ever. Join us for riveting conversations that shed light on the true essence of healing and the incredible individuals who've redefined their paths. Here are some key takeaways for this follow-up episode: - Dr. Fred finds alternative health practitioners compelling because they seem to have an "inside track" on facilitating true healing, often through ancient modalities. - He notes that what is now called "conventional" medicine is actually relatively new, whereas many alternative practices are ancient and time-tested. - Alternative practitioners like Eva take a whole-person, root cause approach rather than just treating symptoms. This leads to healing on deeper levels. - Eva uses techniques like hair mineral analysis, alchemy, tarot, and pendulums to get to the core issues. She sees interconnectedness between physical, emotional, and spiritual health. - Her own journey to healing after being very sick led her to believe in the body's innate ability to heal itself if given what it needs. She rejects limited mainstream approaches. - Eva and other alternative healers provide the listening, constitutional analysis, and customized protocols to facilitate transformation and optimal wellness. - Dr. Fred believes human connection is central to healing, and Eva fosters this while also using other modalities. Her focus on self-love is key. - He finds Eva very compelling as someone driven by both deep wisdom and support from the metaphysical realm. Her multifaceted approach is making a real difference.

Our podcast features these inspiring souls who've returned to the healing profession, stronger and more aligned than ever. Join us for riveting conversations that shed light on the true essence of healing and the incredible individuals who've redefined their paths. Here are some key takeaways from this episode: - Eva Vennari's mission is to dismantle the status quo of the "sickness industry" through alternative healing modalities like mineral balancing and alchemy. - She believes symptoms are not the root problem, but rather what's allowing the symptoms to occur. Her approach is to create a new "ecosystem" in the body to heal. - She uses hair mineral analysis to uncover mineral imbalances and relationships in the body. Balancing minerals is foundational before exploring other spiritual and energetic modalities. - Self-love and sovereignty are central themes in her work. Helping people reconnect to who they were before incarnating supports healing and empowerment. - She offers multi-faceted programs like Reveal, Restore, and Essential Love to support mineral balancing, clearing hexes/curses, and cultivating self-love. Her new Ascension program integrates all three. - She cautions against following health fads and trends, and instead recommends focusing on authentic living, proper rest, clean eating, exercise, and loving oneself. - Her mission is about "healing humans" by listening deeply and guiding people to become empowered in their health and lives. As my friends Nāma and Keli Woods and I settled into our latest heart-to-heart, we found ourselves grappling with the concept of authenticity in spiritual practice. It's a conversation that digs deep into the soul, where we confront the barriers that prevent us from being our true selves. We're not just talking about the struggle to stay genuine in a world that often rewards conformity; we're sharing the visceral moments – like Arjuna on the battlefield – when we're called to stand in our truth, even when it shakes us to our core. This episode is an open invitation to journey through the intimate landscapes of vulnerability, as we share our own stories and the profound lessons learned from them. The sacred space of a spiritual community is the crucible where our conversation heats up. With Nāma and Keli Woods at my side, we unravel the complexities of maintaining a genuine self within groups that, while aiming for openness, sometimes inadvertently cultivate conformity. The potential of bhakti yoga to transform lives sits at the heart of our discussion, as does the critical role each of us plays in fostering an environment where authenticity isn't just possible, but celebrated. Listen as we dissect the delicate balance between personal authenticity and the nurturing of a community where your true self doesn't just fit in – it belongs. We round out the episode with a reflection on the resonance of authentic words and their ability to guide us towards clarity. Drawing inspiration from the Bhagavad Gita, where Krishna's counsel to Arjuna reaches beyond the pages of sacred text, we explore the potency of heartfelt guidance that aligns with our deepest selves. As we share personal stories that underscore the impact of searching for wisdom with humility, we hope to leave you with a sense of the transformative power that lies within each of us. Remember, the journey towards authenticity is not just about finding oneself, but also about the courage to be vulnerable – a path we all walk, step by step. At last week's God After Deconstruction event at Drew University, Mark and Kelly had the opportunity to join podcasters Tripp Fuller (Homebrewed Christianity), Josh Patterson (ReThinking Faith), and Tim Whitaker (The New Evangelicals) for a moving (and sometimes salty) panel discussion about the inspiration and drivers--personally, spiritually, theologically, and politically--for our podcasts and the communities they support. Natural medicine might seem distant from the far-right fringes of society until you dig a little deeper and find the wealth of ‘wellness products' being sold alongside political conspiracies. There is a constant quest for increasing well-being and less ‘toxic' lifestyles. Meanwhile, conspiracy theories drain resources and instill fears, including political plots, controls, and cabals. It happens in the extremes on all sides, the quest for health alongside an implanted mission searching for “the truth.” Time magazine printed a November 2023 article called Wellness Conspiracy Theories are Spreading and highlighted the topic known colloquially as “conspirituality.” This leaves people simply seeking to feel better with the additional question of how to recognize scams from reality in holistic and natural health communities. Dr. Melanie Trowbridge is a Licensed Naturopathic Physician and Acupuncturist practicing in Washington State. She and I spoke about the complexity of discernment in natural health communities at this time and about how AI is changing the future of medicine. Her first career was in technology and more recently completed a course at MIT on AI. Melanie also practices separately as an Ordained Spiritual Nature Minister. Prepare to embark on a transformative exploration of the heart and soul within the realm of faith. The latest episode of the American Reformation Podcast features Doyle Theimer, an associate pastor with a quarter-century of dedicated service, who brings to light the indispensable role of emotional engagement in the church. Our conversation traverses the rich tapestry of Christianity—where intellect meets passion, and where the personal relationship with Jesus as our mediator deeply influences how we live and minister to others. This session promises an insightful intersection between the science of emotional intelligence and the theology of faith. As we unravel the complexities of mirroring emotions and healthy attachments, you'll discover how these elements are reflective of God's design for us and are essential for leaders striving to forge genuine connections within their communities. The Apostle Paul's teachings on suffering, perseverance, and hope are carefully examined, emphasizing the vital tether we must maintain to Jesus to navigate the storms of life.Concluding this deeply enriching dialogue, we scrutinize the intertwined nature of spiritual growth and emotional maturity. Understanding that our development in one is often capped by our capacity in the other, Doyle and I share practical steps church leaders can take to fuse emotional health with spiritual guidance. By utilizing models like Townsend's and the Life Model, we delve into strategies that can reinforce family bonds and revitalize church dynamics. As we close, we inspire church leaders to embrace innovation and adaptability, ensuring that the Spirit's fruit thrives on a foundation that is firmly rooted in the love of Christ.JOIN OUR NEW ONLINE LEARNING PLATFORM!ENTER CODE - 75ULC2023 for 75% off! A doctor in New York, Anjoli has been longing for a space to practise spirituality within a like-minded community, but she does not want to go to her parents' Hindu temple. Whilst she likes the rituals and the sense of community, she feels torn over the teachings about race and caste. She's one of a flock of people signing up to an online community called The Nearness - a group brought together by people with Divinity School backgrounds who yearn for a community where they can explore big spiritual questions, but outside the confines of tradition religion. Research suggests that many millennials are hungry for spiritual communities but wary of mainstream religious ones, so they are trying to create their own. But is it possible to do this in a lasting way, without the history, traditions and rituals of an established faith?

“There’s no spiritual life that does not involve, does not start, intimately and inescapably, with the Earth.” The Rev. Fletcher Harper believes that he felt God while mourning his father’s death on a solo camping trip in Montana. A violent hailstorm struck one night, and he sought shelter in the lee of a rock. “At about three in the morning, I felt this deep sense of well-being,” he recalls. “I realized that I was going to be OK. I thought, ‘I can move on with my life now.’” Later in his life and career when interviewing hundreds of people from a broad spectrum of religious and non-religious backgrounds, he discovered that nearly all of them could recall an outdoor experience they perceived as spiritual or sublime. “Nature awakens a sense of awe at the mystery of life, a sense of wonder, a sense of humility in the face of something so much bigger than we are,” says Harper. “A sense of appreciation and of gratitude. Sometimes a sense of fear — a healthy recognition that we’re not the center of the universe.” Harper, an Episcopal priest, is Executive Director of GreenFaith, an international interfaith and multi-faith environmental organization that conducts education and advocacy, and provides environmental sustainability services, to faith-based groups. GreenFaith uses the power of religious networks to help people from diverse backgrounds put their belief into action for the Earth. It works with houses of worship, religious schools, and people of all faiths to help them become better environmental stewards. It believes in addressing environmental issues holistically and is committed to being a one-stop shop for the resources and tools religious institutions need to engage environmental issues and become religious-environmental leaders. An award-winning spiritual writer and nationally-recognized preacher on the environment, Harper teaches and speaks about the moral, spiritual basis for environmental stewardship and justice. He seeks to tap and activate the values base of the religious sector in ways profound and practical to curb wasteful consumerism and set faith-based communities on a track to environmental stewardship—in practice as well as in belief. And yet Harper resists the platitudes and bromides that some religious communities cite about generalized care for God’s creation. “Very powerful vested interests maintained the status quo,” he says, “and polite conversation and periodic references to the Bible were not going to dismantle the system. It was going to take people really confronting centers of power and calling them out in ways that a lot of religious people feel uncomfortable with.” Noting that specific targeted actions – rather than generalized moral exhortations – create change, he notes that “the only way that a status quo gets changed is through moral discomfort; [religious leaders have] got to be willing to be instruments of moral discomfort.” And so he writes about how to preach specifically on the issue, saying “I’m more concerned about [religious moderates] and a sense that religious institutions exist to help people remain comfortable and to help deal with the challenges and tragedies of their own lives, without looking at larger societal issues.” He personally lives the environmentally sustainable life that he preaches. Harper was named an Ashoka Fellow in 2011 and is the author of GreenFaith: Mobilizing God’s People to Protect the Earth (Abingdon Press, March 2015). In recent years, Harper coordinated the 2015 OurVoices campaign, which mobilized religious support globally for COP 21, led the organizing of faith communities for the People’s Climate Marches in NYC and Washington DC, helped lead the faith-based fossil fuel divestment movement, supported the launch of the global Interfaith Rainforest Initiative, and co-founded Shine, a faith-philanthropy-NGO campaign to end energy poverty with renewable energy by 2030. He helps lead GreenFaith’s new local organizing initiative, creating multi-faith GreenFaith Circles in local communities globally. He is a graduate of Princeton University and Union Theological Seminary, and served as a parish priest for ten years and in leadership positions in the Episcopal Church before becoming GreenFaith’s Executive Director. He holds a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary and a Bachelor's from Yale University. His book Prayers for the People was published by Convergent Press in 2021. Terry loves dance, tennis, songwriting, and pop culture. And we talk about ALL the things! Finding your people. Building intentional community. Covenants we can make with other people aside from a relationship that leads to marriage. A church that is focused on being of service to the community. Religion/Christianity versus secular spirituality. A sense of belonging. Christian tourism and imperialism disguised as missions. Expanding the vision of what's possible for kids of color. Y'all, we talked about it all! Take a listen to this important (and fun!) conversations we have about spirituality and activism. In the podcast, we ask questions like is modern spirituality a cult? Is Ayahuasca really that profound? Are psychics and tarot even real? What about fame, money, sex and social media? How do they affect our spirituality? Can the superficial really be profound? Ultimately, we believe in one thing: spirituality is real but the tools we use to define it may not be magical at all.The Superficial Spirit is hosted by Peter Breeze, a former club kid and underground pop star who found success in queer clubs across Canada and America. He believes that his time as a fame-obsessed, hard-partying club-kid was a conduit for his spirituality and is passionate to connect with people who've also had unconventional or scandalous experiences exploring their own spirituality. Peter shamelessly explores the spiritual power of celebrities like Britney Spears, Courtney Love, Paris Hilton and The Real Housewives.Guests include RuPaul's Drag Race Superstars, Reality TV stars, Scientists, witches, psychics, tarot readers, naturopathic doctors and regular people who've been affected by modern Spirituality.Every episode includes a segment with @jessica.daily, Peter's Spiritual correspondent and a former reiki master and intuitive who's become passionate about sharing her own journey becoming disillusioned from the new age community. Jessica shares personal horror stories and hot takes about popular new age topics like tarot, psychics, mediums, ayahuasca retreats, crystals, ufo's and aliens. This is a public episode. There is a common thread across Qanon, the Trump movement, and the emerging new communities: they all led to people wanting to seek for the truth. Unfortunately, many people are desperate for answers or for someone to swoop in to save the day, which leads to false hope and negative views of the world when those desires are not achieved. Though collectively all three spaces had good intentions driven by people who truly cared, the core of these spaces and movements did not align with the common person, which lead to the discovery of possible operations and infiltration tactics conducted against the people.

Inspired by Holy Hell, the fascinating documentary by Will Allen, we spend this episode talking about the guru factor, and about the film itself. What makes spiritual communities of seekers such fertile ground for narcissistic abuse? What are the red flags to watch out? As always, we also touch on our own experiences of this kind of abuse. It's a juicy one. Please note that there are moments when the sound quality is compromised and there's some weird banging in the background. We hope you enjoy the episode anyway. As always, there's a level of humour despite a heavy topic. TRIGGER WARNING: we discuss abuse within spiritual communities, cults, rape and sexual manipulation by a leader/"master". Growing up on an enlivened farm with her grandparents as guardians, no set religion other than cycles of nature, Taylor Godfrey's life was unconventional from the start. An early connection to her surroundings helped form an acute awareness of life itself. When intuition implored her to process her earlier years of sexual abuse, she had no other choice but to be with her trauma and catalyze her journey into one of healing and honoring the human experience. Spirituality is not all butterflies and rainbows. There can be shame, guilt, and suffering around our spiritual gifts. In this episode, I am talking to Sahara Leigh about the toxicity in spiritual communities. Sahara is an Alchemist of the Soul. She teaches us how to use the everyday, mundane aspects of our lives and selves to create our most magical lives possible. Using Ayurveda, Energy Work, Movement, and Plant Medicine, Sahara shows you how everything you touch is a tool that moves you closer to, or further from, your Authentic Self. You can build your dream reality if you know how to use the tools of your life. Listen in as we discuss how it's all right to charge for your spiritual gifts, how you are choosing to suffer, and coming into the space of finding your truth. Our day to day lives are full of commitments, desires, and stresses. In moderation, these ideas are both manageable and can be very healthy to our growth as individuals. Most of us, however have an excess of all three of these and are easily overwhelmed and overloaded, trying to fulfill and process life around us. This week, Connor talks about his journey from an intensely overwhelming life full of stress and exhaustion, to a life of peace and service. It's amazing to see the realness in the process that he overtook and to see how finding balance in his life, and changing environments, not only affects his own day to day life, but also the lives of those with whom he interacts. We often are taught to push through, and not be "quitters" but Connor is a beautiful example of recognizing when something isn't fitting, and taking time to intentionally reinvest your resources into a more fertile environment. Sexy Spirituality Episode #25 Finding Your Spiritual Home Hosts Lezli Goodwin Sonia Byrne Opening Chat Sonia and Lezli learned a lot on their recent road trip, including where to find the world's best gluten-free pizza (a truck stop in Vicksburg, Arizona), American gas stations require zip codes for gas machines, ear buds and ear plugs are different things, and why you should believe a liquor store employee when they say you don't want their wine. Finding Your Spiritual Home There are a number of archetypes of people who come into a spiritual center for the first time. Most people are a blend of these archetypes. The Spiritual Seeker: Looking for a community that shares their same beliefs and language, where they can expand and learn. The Wounded: Something crisis-level has happened in their life, and they are broken open. Looking for support, love and a safe place to heal. The Skeptic: Looking to be convinced that this is better than some other religion or community, but loves to criticize and find fault. The Modern Traditionalist: Looking for a traditional spiritual community experience (often for children or family), but wants to avoid the guilt or judgment that they associate with more traditional religion. The number one thing that determines whether a person will come back to a church or spiritual center is if they feel like they have someone to sit with. In other words, did people say hello? Were they welcoming? Do they feel like they could belong here? Well-meaning people can violently disagree on what makes people feel welcome, because we tend to believe that what makes "us" feel welcome is what makes "people" feel welcome. Hugs, handshakes, having new people stand... all of these have their strong proponents and opponents. It is the responsibility of center leadership to be very intentional about creating a welcoming environment. This can include a very clear path to involvement in the community that makes space for varied levels of personal commitment. One way to mitigate this is to lean into the word "invitation." This opens up options for people to be acknowledged without people feeling cornered or embarrassed. Something Good Sonia I am offering a workshop at the virtual Center for Spiritual Living Vista Conference on Strategic Planning for Spiritual Communities. March 6, 10:00 AM PST. Host Rev. Cory Bradford-Watts talks with Dr. Rebecca Esterson, a professor at the Center for Swedenborgian Studies, about traditional Christian interpretations of an angry Old Testament God and a loving New Testament God, and the benefits of reading the Bible as allegory as opposed to reading the Bible literally. Book recommendations and more resources below ↓↓↓↓ In this episode of the Transcendiots webcast we talk with Swedenborgian professor Dr. Rebecca Esterson about the history of Christian Bible interpretation and how Emanuel Swedenborg influenced European and American modern ideas about the Bible, spirituality, and the afterlife. Watch and listen as Dr. Esterson offers guidance on how to read sacred text with sensitivity to stereotypes and generalizations so that we can dismantle the proliferation of anti-semitism, racism, and sexism through religion. Sexy Spirituality Episode #23 The Spirituality of Failure Hosts Lezli Goodwin Sonia Byrne Opening Chat Sonia and Lezli chat about what they do when stuck on a flight with no screen! In Sonia's most recent experience, she had exams to grade and work to do. This never happens to Lezli, because she always has several audio books on her phone. (Usually a cheesy vampire novel...) The Spirituality of Failure Sonia was recently contacted to do a business symposium panel on failure. As someone who is willing to have difficult conversations, of course they wanted to invite her to participate. Failure brings out shame, and most people want to hide from that -- lie, deny, distract, drink, whatever it takes to cover it up. To become a powerhouse, we often need to have gone through a whole lot of experiences, including serious failures. We want the shortcut, but it doesn't work like that. We learn what works by experiencing what doesn't work! Many people are afraid to do brave things that risk failure publicly. If you are going to try big things, you're going to suck sometimes. There's nothing you can do about it except continue showing up. I am more afraid of living a life that is not fully expressed than I am of failure. We often learn more from failures than we do successes. What do you value more? Avoiding failure or avoiding regret? We love to reference icons like Steve Jobs or Thomas Edison or Madonna. We have a tendency to overlook the rounds of failure and only look at the success. But the failures are actually steps in the process of success. If you're going to fail, fail big and then -- TA DA!!!! Failure does not indicate that there is something wrong. It simply means there is more to be discovered before you reach your goal. Something important is happening here every time we get back up and TA DA! Something Good Sonia I am offering a workshop at the virtual Center for Spiritual Living Vista Conference on Strategic Planning for Spiritual Communities. March 6, 10:00 AM PST. Lezli I am teaching another round of Releasing the Rocks, my two-session workshop that helps you release old emotions and live a life that is more free. This version is in person in Phoenix. Nutbush City Limits and Kate Smith roll on. Heron's favorite wine glass is no more. Spiritual Communities contained a little note. They talk about when people care and it involves geographic movement. Heron needs to create new rituals. Dr. Alexander Riegel studies and teaches on mysticism and the contemplative traditions. Primarily, grounded in Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, and Sufism, Dr. Riegel's message is that the essential spiritual truths discovered by mystical figures long ago, e.g. the Hindu and Buddhist yogis, Jesus, and various Sufi figures, remain valid and unchanged. He tells us that by returning to the mystic, we come to understand that the Hindu yogis' realization of our essential nature; the Buddha's insight into the nature of the mind; Jesus' teaching of the sacred dimension of all creation - here and now; and the Sufi emphasis on the heart as the primary means of spiritual experience (not to mention the insights and teachings of spiritual figures from traditions such as Judaism and Taoism.) All of it can be the foundation for walking an authentic interspiritual path. Dr. Riegel says, "These insights and teachings have not been surpassed, and more than anything else, the world desperately needs to rediscover them. Indeed, we all need to return to the mystic." We will also touch upon Dr. Riegel's love of mystic poetry, which he performs to live music and uses for workshops and online teaching to help further people's spiritual journeys.

In this episode, they will share their insights about how to create a lasting impact in spiritual communities—one that sparks true individual and community transformation.
