On this episode of Vitality Radio, Jared shares another installment of his listener-favorite series, Max Health, Minimal Cost—where simple, affordable supplements deliver results that rival much pricier options. This week's focus is on three underrated yet powerful natural tools: Slippery Elm Bark, Citrus Bioflavonoids (including Rutin and Hesperidin), and Suma Root—each available for well under 50 cents a day. Jared explains how Slippery Elm soothes and protects the throat, stomach, and intestinal lining—supporting healthy digestion and relief from occasional throat and voice irritation without the side effects of common over-the-counter drugs. He then explores how Citrus Bioflavonoids strengthen blood vessels, reduce bruising, enhance Vitamin C absorption, and help stabilize histamine activity for those seeking natural support for circulation and immune balance. Finally, he introduces Suma, a powerful adaptogen used to promote balanced energy, hormone support, and stress resilience. Each of these time-tested botanicals demonstrates that true vitality doesn't have to come at a high price. Whether you're addressing digestive comfort, vascular health, or overall energy, Jared shows how small daily investments in these supplements can lead to big returns in well-being.Products:Solaray Slippery Elm CapsulesSource Naturals Slippery Elm LozengesTraditional Medicinals Throat Coat TeaYogi Throat Comfort TeaNature's Life Lemon BioflavinoidsSolaray RutinSolaray SumaVitality Nutrition Mind FuelUltimate Vitality MultiClinical Immunity Elderberry Gummies (Vitality Radio POW! The Dance Of Life Podcast with Tudor Alexander

God gave us a body to take care of and it is important to maintain that body with love and care. Especially because we are at the end of the genesis curse, there are many considerations these days to living a healthy life. It is also important from an eschatological perspective, because one day the world will ostracize those who do not obey its counterfeit system of worship — which means we must not be dependent on institutions or pharmaceutical drugs as much as possible. In this free series I go over 20 years of experience in the realm of health and wellness and discuss important strategies on how to maintain what we've been given so that you can be as healthy as possible for what's to come. * 00:00 - Introduction* 03:07 - Important Principles * 30:00 - How to Lose Fat* 37:43 - The Importance of Blood Sugar* 44:25 - Carnivore/Keto* 1:01:51 - How Much Protein? Blood sugar impacts everything—your energy, your sleep, your hormones, your brain, your heart, your thyroid, EVERYTHING. Yet most of us only hear about it in the context of diabetes.  In this episode of the Nutritional Therapy and Wellness Podcast, host, Jamie Belz, and fellow NTP, Ashley Lawrence, open the curtain on the real story behind why blood sugar is often the hidden root behind symptoms like PCOS, anxiety, insomnia, weight struggles, and even long-term risks like cardiovascular disease and Alzheimer's. Ashley—known as the “Blood Sugar Bestie”—shares her personal journey of misdiagnosis, failed quick fixes, and finally discovering that blood sugar balance changes everything. Ashley shares: Her hopeful testimonial story and what she did to “lose her PCOS diagnosis.” Why PCOS is more than “just a hormone disorder”—and how insulin resistance drives much of the imbalance. Why some researchers call Alzheimer's “type 3 diabetes,” and what that really means. How early warning signs like skin tags and darkened patches can show up years before a diagnosis. The reality that blood sugar issues can simmer silently for a decade or more before being labeled diabetes. Practical, joy-filled strategies: pairing carbs with protein, food + mood journaling, hydration hacks, and short-term CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitor) experiments to see what works for your bio-individual body. CLEAN FATS make healthy hormones! (ALL natural fats are healthy - they need to be unadulterated and from clean sources.) This episode isn't about restriction. Insulin resistance triggers everything from Alzheimer's to erectile dysfunction. Dr. Benjamin Bikman examines the metabolic crisis shared by 50% of America.Full show notes and resources can be found here: jordanharbinger.com/1201What We Discuss with Dr. Benjamin Bikman:Half of US adults have insulin resistance without knowing it. It's the upstream driver of most chronic diseases — from high blood pressure to erectile dysfunction to Alzheimer's — not just diabetes.Medical focus on blood glucose misses the real problem. Insulin levels are rarely tested, yet elevated insulin drives disease years before blood sugar becomes abnormal.Fat cell size matters more than total fat. East Asians develop insulin resistance with less weight gain because they have fewer, larger fat cells versus more, smaller ones in Europeans.Insulin resistance causes brain starvation. When neurons can't access glucose due to insulin resistance, cognition declines — which is why some in the medical community refer to Alzheimer's as "type 3 diabetes."Type 2 diabetes is reversible through carb restriction. In one study, 11 newly diagnosed patients reversed their diabetes in 90 days by eating unlimited protein and fat, just limiting carbs. And much more...And if you're still game to support us, please leave a review here — even one sentence helps!
