Eliminate mandatory minimum sentences. Codify the LGBTQ+ agenda into state statutes. Limiting the periods when officials can check voter registration lists for accuracy. This is some of what was discussed in just the first quarter hour alone. This past week, I was reading Mark chapter 3 and something hit me hard. Jesus heals a man with a withered hand—but not the way we often imagine healing. He doesn't pull him aside. He doesn't do it quietly. He calls him forward. In front of everyone. And then He asks the man to stretch out the very hand that hasn't worked in years. The healing didn't happen while the man stayed hidden. It happened when he moved. And I see this all the time with women and alcohol. We pray. We hope. We ask God to take it away. But Jesus keeps saying, “Come here. Stand up. Stretch.” Grace isn't passive. Healing requires participation. If you know God is calling you to stop overdrinking, to heal, to grow—but fear, comfort, or perfectionism keeps holding you back—this is your invitation. On June 30th, 2005, a fishing boat called the Freedom left the San Pedro marina for an overnight trip off the coast of Southern California. Combined, this group wasted no time in introducing a hard left agenda that includes: Gerrymandering future elections. Bombarding the citizens with new taxes. Attack life in the womb. Eliminate mandatory minimum sentences. Codify the LGBTQ+ agenda into state statutes. Limiting the periods when officials can check voter registration lists for accuracy. This is some of what was discussed in just the first quarter hour alone.
