In this episode, Professor Caroline Dodds Pennock speaks to award-winning Earth Scientist Dr Anjana Khatwa about the deep stories hidden within our landscapes.  Dr Khatwa discusses how rocks and minerals are more than just passive objects underneath our feet. Anita Katzenbach claims to be an Ahel Pleiadian who incarnated on Earth as a Galactic Envoy and was immediately targeted at birth by Men in Black who physically abused her after she was somehow tracked. Anita was subjected to MK-Ultra mind-control experiences throughout her childhood after her German-Hungarian physician father voluntarily signed her over to covert programs, which included sexual abuse. So he became a pilot. But his early attempts were scary and learning was slow and often frustrating. Overnight Wednesday to Thursday we will experience a truly unusual New Moon, arriving at a packed and sensitive moment. This is the alignment of retrograde Mercury conjunct the Moon, the Sun and the Earth — at exactly the same time. The Moon and Mercury will pass between the Earth and Sun at exactly the same time. The chances of this even happening are remote but here it is. And it takes place in the what's called the anaretic degrees of Scorpio — way at the end of the sign, indicating major change; and a point of no return. In this article and Starcast, I'll comment on the public and collective expressions of this aspect; in the readings below (for Sun and rising sign), I speak to you as an individual with your own private concerns.The New Moon conjunct Mercury takes place at 28+ Scorpio (which is really the 29th degree). When you have one very hot degree, it's helpful to check what is contacting that degree from the other three directions — that is, what's making squares and oppositions? You get a lot of clues. I've put the chart below this article in case you dare to look at the basic data.Let's call out something obvious: this lunation is opposite Uranus, which is in the last degree of Taurus. The New Moon is itself a trigger, and then the Moon and the Sun immediately oppose precipitous (and misnamed) Uranus, the disruptor, the agitator and the rebel. In contrast, indigenous wisdom is deeply contextual, rooted in lived experience, and emphasizes a reciprocal, integrated relationship with the rest of the natural world, viewing all parts of the system as interconnected. What becomes possible when we combine the strengths of each of these knowledge systems as we navigate humanity's biggest challenges?  In this episode, Nate is joined by Rosa Vásquez Espinoza, a Peruvian chemical biologist with Andean-Amazonian indigenous roots, to discuss how she is actively merging modern science and indigenous knowledge through innovative research in the Amazon Rainforest. Rosa explains how the integration of these two ways of knowing unveil more effective paths forward for conservation and ecological wisdom that simultaneously offer economic opportunity for the people who live there. She also shares her biggest successes to date bringing this vision to life, including documenting and protecting Earth's oldest known bee, the stingless bee.  Were the indigenous people of ancient cultures the original scientists? With Andean-Amazonian indigenous roots, she is the founder of Amazon Research Internacional, where she has pioneered groundbreaking research on extreme Amazonian ecosystems and biodiversity, while advocating for policies that recognize the intrinsic value of nature.  Rosa was the first microbial explorer of the Amazonian Boiling River, led the first chemical analysis of stingless bees and their medicinal honey in Peru, and contributed to scientific advancements that supported Peru's Law 32235, granting legal protection to stingless bees for the first time. Her work as an International Ambassador for the Ashaninka people further highlights her commitment to conservation and indigenous advocacy. She also co-authored the first scientific paper with Ashaninka leaders, blending traditional wisdom with modern science to safeguard the rainforest. What Reality Is Made Of?To ask what reality is made of is to step beyond materialist assumptions. The traditional view insists that matter is the bedrock of existence. Yet evidence from quantum pioneers, neuroscientists, and mystics points elsewhere: reality is vibration, energy, and non‑local consciousness.At the foundation of this worldview is light. Across science and theology, light is described as the universe's premier information bearer. In creation myths, it is the first act of differentiation from the void, the symbol of revelation and truth. In physics, light confronts us with paradox: both wave and particle, continuous and discrete. This duality mirrors the divine—immanent and transcendent—suggesting paradox itself is the signature of ultimate reality.From this paradox flows a radical implication: matter is not solid. What we perceive as particles are localized vibrations, excitations in an underlying quantum field. Imagine the universe as a vast, calm ocean. A ripple upon its surface is what we call a particle. When the energy dissipates, the ripple folds back into the ocean. Solidity is not inherent but an interaction with the Higgs field, a kind of cosmic molasses. The field is primary; the particle is secondary.This vibrational worldview was the bedrock of Nikola Tesla's genius. His famous dictum—“think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration”—was practical insight.
