A new tranche of Jeffrey Epstein's emails makes one thing painfully clear: Epstein was a central figure in the lives of a lot of big names in tech, and had influence on a surprising number of companies and executives. David and Nilay talk through what we've learned from the new emails so far. Then they turn to Anthropic's spicy new Super Bowl ads about... ads, which caused a big reaction from OpenAI (which is betting big on ads). They also discuss this week's antitrust hearing about Netflix's purchase of Warner Bros., the latest in Brendan Carr is a Dummy, Google Home's big buttons upgrade, and much more. The best influencers (and elite athletes, artists and inventors) are boring. They are all about Mundanity: repeating the same few habits every single day (whether they feel like performing them or not) until these consistent practices incrementally morph into a tsunami of victory. Success lies in a masterful consistency around the fundamentals (please read that thrice). Don't complicate things. Just repeat a few routines staggeringly well. I recall learning from the excellent documentary Tyson that when Mike was at the top of his game as the undefeated heavyweight champion of the world, he only did three things: trained, ate and slept.I've created a powerful completely new online program called The Amazing Day Blueprint. It's a proven system to help you constantly make your days productive, healthy and happy in 2026. Here are the details.FOLLOW ROBIN SHARMA:InstagramFacebookXYouTube

On this episode of The Karen Kenney Show, I talk about how important it is to think for yourself - especially in the age of influencers, grifters, and bro-science “experts” - including those being revealed in the Epstein files.I share a little modern-day PSA about being on the lookout for online scams, shady spiritual teachers, coaching programs with “culty” vibes, and podcasters who try to sell us an image, rather than the truth.I add in a favorite Bruce Lee quote about how a “good teacher protects you from their own influence” and will do their best to keep pointing you back to your own Inner Teacher, intuition, discernment, and critical thinking! You'll hear why we've gotta' trust our gut, notice the red flags, and stop giving our power away just because someone is good at marketing, has a wicked big platform, or has published a bestselling book.My hope is that this episode encourages you to unfollow what feels off, ask better questions, and surround yourself with a few trusted people who will lovingly point out your blind spotsMost of all, I want you to remember that you already have an internal guidance system that's pretty damn smart… and it's OK - when we learn new information - to say, “I made a mistake. I was wrong,” then course-correct, and choose better for yourself going forward. ❤️KAREN KENNEY BIO:Karen Kenney is a certified Spiritual Mentor, Writer, Podcaster and Coach. She's known for her dynamic storytelling, her sense of humor, her Boston accent, and her no-bullshit approach to spirituality, self-development, and transformational work. She's has been a yoga teacher since 1999, and a Thai Yoga Massage practitioner since 2008. On today's episode of “Fearless,” Jason explains how the NFL accomplished the impossible: overshadowing the Super Bowl. From the selection of Bad Bunny as the halftime entertainment to the inexplicable Hall of Fame exclusion of Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft to Shedeur Sanders' inclusion in the Pro Bowl, along with the sham of a Pro Bowl game as a promotion for the league's flag football initiative, the Super Bowl has become a mere sideshow at the NFL Circus. Shedeur Sanders, claiming he's capable of dominating, has become the “Jake Paul” in this era of streaming services. Simply stated, Jason says the NFL doesn't have any respect for the game it governs. Steve Kim will join the show to discuss Shedeur Sanders, Tom Brady's first-ballot Hall of Fame concerns, and Tony Dungy declining to answer Hall of Fame questions. Mike DeCourcy joins to explain that Ken Anderson, L.C. Greenwood, and Roger Craig should be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Lastly, Howard Balzer attempts to explain the Pro Football Hall of Fame voting debacle. Many therapists feel a pull to create income outside of the one-to-one therapy model, but feel conflicted about influencer culture, constant posting, or anything that feels misaligned with their professional values. In this episode, I explore how therapists can diversify their income by teaching, without becoming influencers or leaving the field. I break down why teaching is a natural extension of clinical work, how continuing education fits ethically within scope, and why so many therapists already have teachable expertise without realizing it. I discuss practical, realistic options for therapists, including continuing education, consultation, digital educational products, and podcast-based learning, and reframe income diversification as an issue of sustainability, not commitment. This episode is especially relevant for seasoned clinicians who want longevity in the profession without hype or hustle culture. Special Promotion: Berries + Free CE Podcourse Bundle (New Annual Customers) At the beginning of this episode, I shared a limited-time promotion in partnership with Berries. New customers who purchase the Berries annual subscription plan using my referral link will receive free access to my CE Podcourse Bundle, which includes over 30 hours of NBCC-approved continuing education contact hours, with new podcourses added throughout the year. A Podcourse is a podcast and an audio course in one - designed for busy clinicians. You can listen on a walk, between sessions, or whenever it fits into your schedule. When you're ready, you log in, complete a short self-study quiz, and download your certificate of completion.
What do you do when your tween or teen is convinced school doesn't matter because they're definitely going to be an influencer? If your child talks more about TikTok fame than homework, dismisses “real jobs,” or seems completely disengaged from school and real-world relationships, this episode is for you. Parents today are navigating brand-new territory, and it can feel scary, frustrating, and isolating when your kid's ambitions seem disconnected from reality. In this episode of Ask Lisa: The Psychology of Raising Tweens & Teens, psychologist Dr. Lisa Damour and journalist Reena Ninan respond to a parent letter about a tween absolutely convinced of their future influencer fame, while academic failure and emotional strain mount at home. They unpack what's normal, what's concerning, and how parents can respond without crushing their child's dreams or losing their relationship.
To millions of subscribers, Ruby Franke was the ultimate "super-mom," the face of the popular YouTube channel 8 Passengers. Her life seemed like a masterclass in organized parenting and wholesome values. But behind the suburban perfection lay a chilling reality: Ruby had fallen under the spell of Jodi Hildebrandt, a lifestyle coach who used faith as a tool for isolation and systematic abuse. In the summer of 2023, the world watched in shock as the facade of the “perfect family” crumbled. Acclaimed documentary filmmaker and director of Evil Influencer, Skye Borgman, discusses the layers of Jodi Hildebrandt's manipulation. We're living in a moment where a teenager with a phone can shape theology faster than a pastor with a Bible—and the result is confusion, compromise, and a “feel-good” faith that can't save. In this eye-opening conversation, Mike Winger joins me to expose what's really driving digital discipleship, why “almost right” theology spreads so fast, and what parents, pastors, and leaders can do right now to anchor the next generation in Scripture—before the algorithm does. A growing hunger among young men is impossible to ignore, and many are filling it with voices that pull them away from Christ. Ray, E.Z., Mark, and Oscar discuss the rise of secular influencers who offer fragments of truth about purpose and masculinity while remaining disconnected from God. The guys explain that while certain traits may be admirable, any worldview apart from Christ ultimately speaks from a fallen perspective. Young men are searching for meaning, and when that hunger is not met with the gospel, they will consume whatever is offered. Ears are always listening, and if the church does not disciple intentionally, other voices will gladly step in.The conversation turns to why this hunger exists in the first place. The guys point out that men have been steadily degraded and stripped of purpose, creating a vacuum that influencers rush to fill. At the same time, the church has often been content with shallow engagement. Cultural Christianity, political alignment, and surface-level conservatism are not substitutes for regeneration. Once someone has truly encountered Christ, there is nowhere else to go, yet many young men have never been shown the depth, authority, and beauty of Scripture. The masculinity they long for is not found in strength or dominance, but in the life and character of Christ. They then address how believers are called to respond. The guys emphasize that the answer is the gospel lived boldly and relationally. Discipleship requires presence, courage, and a willingness to speak into the lives God has providentially placed nearby. Churches cannot celebrate attendance alone but must labor for transformation. This includes engaging young men directly, intentionally investing in children, and recognizing that small moments of care and attention can leave lasting spiritual impressions. Influence is not limited to platforms; it is multiplied by faithfulness. Finally, the guys focus on the role of discipleship in the home and the church. Fatherlessness, whether physical or emotional, has left many young men without guidance, discipline, or example. The gospel restores order, purpose, and authority, calling men to repentance, leadership, and sacrificial love. Family devotion and sound teaching become foundations for generational change. Discipleship is framed as a mutual exchange of exhortation and growth, rooted in Scripture and oriented toward glorifying God. The episode closes with a call for men to lead with conviction, to invest deeply in the next generation, and to anchor identity and purpose in Christ alone.Send us a textThanks for listening! A recent leak of a Minneapolis Signal chat exposed activists, including Brian Krassenstein, allegedly coordinating actions that could interfere with federal officers, sparking major online debate. The revelations, amplified by Elon Musk's retweet, highlight the growing tension between activist networks, law enforcement, and the broader political landscape.
Some will get with the program, and some will be crushed in the process. The predictable pattern they are currently running looks extremely insane. They knew people would follow the stars, so now it's an operation. Fake representation of the public while initiating chaos. The loudest denials are not from the most guilty. Organized operations were started early on. Distractions make things look foggy. Precision matters in real work. The FBI has it all. Where there is no evidence, there is no crime. Proximity to power is not insight. Alleged allies are funding subversion. Real briefings are happening elsewhere. The largest groups presents themselves as allies because it's profitable. Dismissal does not stop serious investigations. Pattern recognition shows danger. It's not Soros behind all this. Selective exposure is another of their tactics. Congress members are in the signal calls. We should run Paxton like a race horse. Let's cut some thunder and do the work. Harvard is funded by the ChiComs. ICE once protected the vulnerable. The NRO is more important. Influencers poison the truth well. It's hard, but we have to carefully listen to their plans and decipher the mindset. Then let's all pray for victory, and humanity.
In this episode, Travis and Eric dive deep into the minds of today's top business influencers and creators — Gary Vaynerchuk, Alex Hormozi, Naval Ravikant, and Sharran Srivatsaa. Eric shares his take on what makes each one powerful, influential, and sometimes… a little overrated. With humor, hot takes, and honest reflection, this episode uncovers the truth behind influencer hype and what actually creates long-term business success. On this episode we talk about: Which business influencers truly earn their hype Why copying creators like Alex Hormozi misses the real point The underrated genius of Sharran Srivatsaa How context matters when following Gary Vee's advice The psychology behind imitation, credibility, and influence Top 3 Takeaways Imitating someone's style—like Alex Hormozi's yellow-text captions—won't make you successful. Imitate their work ethic and strategy instead. Gary Vee's “hustle” mindset only works if you understand the deeper message of self-awareness and finding what you love. True influence doesn't come from virality. It comes from credibility, consistent value, and playing the long game. Notable Quotes “Copying someone's font or video format doesn't build authority—it's the thousand hours of mastery behind it that matter.” “It's dangerous to take any advice out of context, especially if you haven't done the real work behind the scenes.” “When Alex Hormozi came on the scene, it wasn't luck. It was a grenade of credibility, volume, and great content all hitting at once.” Connect with Travis Chappell: • LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/travischappell • Twitter/X: https://twitter.com/traviscchappell • Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/travischappell • Other (Website): https://travischappell.com Travis Makes Money is made possible by High Level — the All-In-One Sales & Marketing Platform built for agencies, by an agency.
