Die 2007 von Ted Palmer in Boulder, Colorado gegründete - und auf Gin fokussierte - Vapor Distillery wurde 2012 von Alastair Brogan bereichert, der sein schottisches Erbe in die Rocky Mountains trug, dort die Whiskymarke "Boulder Spirits" erschuf und letztlich die Destillerie übernahm. Zunächst war Boulder als reine Single Malt-Marke gedacht, doch schnell wurde Brogan klar, dass er auch Bourbon anbieten muss, um in Amerika Erfolg zu haben - dennoch hat er für seine Marke einen gewissen Fokus auf Single Malt beibehalten. Wir sprechen über den Werdegang und die Produkte von Boulder Spirits und wie immer unternehmen wir einen Blick auf die Bourbon-Neuerscheinungen in Deutschland und den USA.
