With the TV industry adapting to the ever-changing landscape of streaming services, viewers are often left wondering whether their favorite network TV shows are coming back or not. Recently, many network shows have been canceled or ended multi-season runs, while others received early renewals or surprise resurrections. ABC had a relatively modest number of cancellations this season. “Alaska Daily,” “Avalon,” “Big Sky,” “The Company You Keep,” and “The Goldbergs” all got the ax. “A Million Little Things” ended its multi-season run. In terms of renewals, “Abbott Elementary,” “American Idol,” “The Bachelor,” “Celebrity Family Feud,” “Claim to Fame,” “Dancing With the Stars,” “The Good Doctor,” “Grey's Anatomy,” “Press Your Luck,” “The Rookie,” “Station 19,” “Will Trent,” and “The Wonder Years” are all coming back. CBS was busy renewing its shows this season, with many getting the green light. Among those renewed are “48 Hours,” “60 Minutes,” “The Amazing Race,” “Blue Bloods,” “Bob Hearts Abishola,” “CSI: Vegas,” “The Equalizer,” “FBI,” “FBI: International,” “FBI: Most Wanted,” “Fire Country,” “Ghosts,” “Lingo,” “NCIS,” “NCIS: Hawaii,” “The Neighborhood,” “So Help Me Todd,” “Survivor,” “S.W.A.T.,” “Tough as Nails,” and “Young Sheldon.” “East New York” and “True Lies” were canceled, while “NCIS: Los Angeles” ended its run. Over at The CW, “Kung Fu,” “Tom Swift,” “Walker: Independence,” and “The Winchesters” were canceled, while “The Flash,” “Nancy Drew,” “Riverdale,” and “DC's Stargirl” all had their final season orders. “All American” and “Walker” were renewed, while “All American: Homecoming,” “Gotham Knights,” and “Superman & Lois” are still waiting to hear if they will return. Fox canceled “Call Me Kat,” “Fantasy Island,” and “Monarch,” while “9-1-1” moved over to ABC for its seventh season. “The Cleaning Lady,” “The Great North,” “HouseBroken,” “So You Think You Can Dance,” and “Welcome to Flatch” are all waiting to hear their fate. “9-1-1: Lone Star,” “Accused,” “Alert: Missing Persons Unit,” “Animal Control,” “Bob's Burgers,” “Family Guy,” “Grimsburg,” “Krapopolis,” and “The Simpsons” were all renewed. NBC had a mix of cancellations and renewals, with “Call Your Mother,” “Debris,” “Good Girls,” “Law & Order: For the Defense,” “Manifest,” and “Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist” all getting canceled. “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago Med,” “Chicago P.D.,” “La Brea,” “Law & Order,” “Law & Order: Organized Crime,” “Law & Order: SVU,” “Lopez vs. Lopez,” “Magnum P.I.,” “Night Court,” “Password,” “Quantum Leap,” and “The Voice” were all renewed. In conclusion, it's important to stay informed about the TV shows you love, but with the industry shifting toward streaming services, it can be hard to keep up. However, with reliable sources like Entertainment Tonight, viewers can stay on top of whether their favorite shows are canceled or renewed.

John GriffinTake a walk with me down Fascination Street as I get to know John Griffin. John is an actor that you may have seen in the television shows: Chuck, Castle, Lucifer, Dexter, Call Me Kat, and so many more. In this episode John explains what it was like growing up being pulled between acting and tennis. (He was a ranked tennis player as a teen). We explore a little of his time at Stanford, and Oxford, he shares stories from the set of Jersey Boys and what it was like to work with Clint Eastwood on that project. John explains to me what Bare: The Musical was all about and how he came to originate one of the roles in it. I pepper John with questions about what it was like to work with the late Leslie Jordan on the current Fox T.V. show Call Me Kat, where John played the serious love interest of Leslie's character Phil. He tells stories of being on set and acting opposite Leslie and how caring, kind, funny, and generous a scene partner he was. Leslie Jordan was an infectious and loving friend and colleague; John makes that very clear. Finally, we chat about John's newest project: Go Love Go, a film he wrote and is working to get made, and how YOU can help.

Q&A on the FOX series Call Me Kat with actor Julian Gant. Moderated by Mara Webster, In Creative Company. An optimistic and fun-loving woman continuously defies societal expectations, and her mother's wishes, to prove she can live a happy and fulfilling life on her own terms. Her first move? Using her entire savings to open a cat café in Louisville, Ky. Kat's in her element at her lively cat café, working alongside her friends: Randi, a bold, aspiring artist, and Phil, the café's resident baker dipped in Southern flair. Across the way, the local piano bar, run by cool, down-to-earth Carter, is the gang's favorite watering hole, where Kat's best friend from college, Max, slings drinks and charms the patrons. All the while, Kat's mother, Sheila, actively keeps tabs on her daughter's romantic life. Kat finds herself in all sorts of predicaments, handling them as only she can -- with joy, humor and positivity.

Comedic actor Leslie Jordan is gone too soon, leaving behind a legacy of humor and humanity from Will & Grace to Call Me Kat. Relive some favorite laughs, and hear his tales of the Sordid Lives he lived on screen — and some “sordid lives” in gay Hollywood then and now (interviewed by Chris Wilson, Abby Dees and Rosie Wilby). And in NewsWrap: the passage of marriage equality legislation in Guerrero and Tamaulipas completes the long process of making it law in all 31 Mexican states, an LGBTQ ally becomes Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India, Slovakia's Parliament rejects a bill to create registered partnerships for lesbian and gay couples, U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's new Tory Cabinet is just as anti-queer as his short-lived predecessor's, lawmakers in Russia's State Duma vote to expand the ban on “propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations” among minors to include adults, persecuted Chechen brothers and WNBA All-Star Brittney Griner each lose appeals of harsh Russian prison sentences, upcoming U.S. midterm elections feature queer candidates in all 50 states, and more international LGBTQ news reported this week by Marcos Najera and Michael Taylor-Gray (produced by Brian DeShazor). Como diriam as almas gêmeas do Derivado Cast, Bubu e Aline, o Youtube é um buraco sem fundo, que você entra num looping e não sai mais. Actor Mayim Bialik (Blossom, Big Bang Theory, Call Me Kat) is a pickle monster. If it's crunchy, face puckering sour and floating in brine, chances are she's going to love it. Pickles are one of humanity's most ancient foods, so host Rachel Belle consults with Jan Davison, author of Pickles, a Global History to suss out their origin story and Alan Kaufman, owner of The Pickle Guys, Manhattan's last standing pickle shop. Mayim also shares her journey to veganism, her favorite Jewish holiday foods and what it's been like since she revealed that she's in recovery for an eating disorder that developed in her 40s. Follow Rachel Belle and Your Last Meal on Instagram! Check out Every Day is a Food Day, a podcast that explores the stories, scandals, holidays and heroes behind your favorite foods, hosted by Anna Van Valin and Lia Ballentine. Leslie sits down with the Chicks Who Love Music to talk about some of his projects and a few amazing stories from his long and illustrious career. It's a call to all Hunker Downers as Leslie Jordan officially becomes the very first guest on Chicks Who Love Music.
