Gunti ( G ) = was häsch gseit ? (G) : Was solliii nä? Wo solliiii am brüüüf lotsuuu?  (M) Also nimm där Binoggel - ja der Spiegäl - vo mier üs äu der Fäldstächer u jetzt is der grad wieder a so wiiit….. (G) ja machi di grad…… (M) ja vor lüttum machi dä grad geits där dä glich wie dum Mr.Numunidmotto. (G) was hät dä der Mr.Numunidmotto mim inä Himmel obschli lotus tue? (M) Ja well di dü nid willt Motto u dum Mr.Numunidmotto ( kei Japaner ) nei a fühle Walliser u well schi där nie hät wellu motto hänsch mu äbu dä der Ubernamu gegä… u ja mottu = chunt va bewegu u wenn die nid bewegsch waxund där där Motte ins Fittla…. U motto ja chunt vam Italienischu zrugg in ischä Dialäkt - well weisch gäll ischä dialäkt hät viel Sprachäää inspiriert ja äu English : She is a lady ! U ja zrugg zum Motto - äbu Mottorini, Motto Guzzi, Vespa etc….. (G) u was wäxlusch där dü zue z thema ich hä doch ursprünglicher wiis inä Himmäl sellu lotsä ?  (M) Gäll - Frau Muselti isch im Fall än gueti Kollegin vam Mr.Numunidmottu. (G) aja - d`Fräu Muselti ischt kenni dä wohl - das isch doch d Initiantin va där Wir-Bewägig - wier selti där Bief ufi Poscht bringu ( mit där Carretta? ) (M) Jetzt länk nid zue vam Thema ab, well jetzu is dä grad widär a so wiiiit. Refrain : Intoleranz, Akzeptanz, Arroganz, Grupputanz, Rägutanz, Trachtutanz - das isch mir alles Hans was Heiiiriiiii!!!! U hät är eiguntlich so einä bstellt ? ( Antwort im breitesten Bärn-Dütsch ) u ä wäh hät er eppis bstellt fär mi u was hät är dä söelle bstelle ? Ja so an Schwarznasuschafwollrollchragubikini. Well ihrusch Nachbarin hät dä im Fall scho so einäää? Was d`Frau Hugätoblär üsum Parterre well da häniii nu nüd vo so settigämmm gsehhh!! Hät gälii unherhösliiii a hät gäli unärhösli a ? An was man sich erinnert? Fazit ?

Wir stellen uns die Frage: "The Drums is the most important Instrument?" Last but not least – das Wichtigste?

We are joined by Dana Carretta-Stein, an EMDR therapist based in New York. Not only does Dana practice EMDR with her clients, she is also a consultant to fellow therapists on how to best use EMDR with their own clients! Per Dana's Website, "EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) is a trauma-informed, solution-focused therapy that was founded by Francine Shapiro in 1987 for the treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Since then, it has become one of the best ways to overcome anxiety, depression, and a number of other mental health struggles."  Throughout this conversation, the ladies discuss who is a good candidate for EMDR, finding a practitioner, what a session might look like, and how EMDR therapy can help clients through PTSD and complex trauma. This therapy helps us use both hemispheres of our brain to effectively process trauma. Trauma is at the core of so many mental health issues, and it is possible that EMDR may be the right therapy modality for people seeking help. Dana also mentions an EMDR progress journal she authored, which we have linked below.  Follow Dana On IG! https://www.instagram.com/the_emdr_coach/ Dana's Personal Website: https://www.danacarretta.com Dana's Practice: https://www.peacefullivingmentalhealthcounseling.com/ EMDR Progress Journal: https://www.danacarretta.com/progressjournal --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

In today's world, it is tough to navigate through the craziness that is the supplement industry. Its also easy to get caught up in the cool labels and promotion instead of really knowing the ingredients in the products and the quality of the product. With True Nutrition whether you are looking for a custom oatmeal, a multivitamin, a great tasting protein that you can order by the pound, or simply looking for a company you know you can trust to send you the best quality products available, they have you covered. And… as if you needed another reason to buy your protein from them… They now have all sorts of "boosts" that you can add to your protein. I'm actually reading off of the recent protein tub that I ordered… Caramel Macchiato Whey Protein Isolate Microfiltrated with Probiotic Boost, Supergreens Boost, Multivitamin & Mineral, Essential Aminos Boost and Lion's Mane Mushroom Boost. And it still tastes phenomenal! Just go to www.truenutrition.com, look at all their great products, place your order, and when you go to make your payment, type in "CEPN" in the promo code box for 5% off of your entire order. You won't regret it and you will never have to question the quality of your supplements again! Raised on the Radio's listenership continues to grow with every episode. Want to learn about Piemonte and the home of Nebbiolo? Pull up a chair and have a listen. Piemonte is in the top two appellations for wine production in Italy…naturally, there is Tuscany and its darling grape Sangiovese and then there is Piemonte. To me, Piemonte is bit more complicated than Tuscany, but the Piedmontese are just as proud and stubborn as the Tuscans.  It has taken awhile for me to appreciate the complexities of Nebbiolo, particularly with the nuances of the appellations buried deep into the landscape.  If you are anywhere near Milan, a quick 1.5 hour drive could land you in the middle of this prolific wine country and take you back 100's of years. Learn what makes it such a special place in the world of wine and the passionate history that one assumes when growing grapes and making wine there.

Truck drivers have been saying for years that, "We need more truck parking" but it seems that it took an article in the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) to get the much needed attention of the general public. Join us with our special guest Dave Della Maggiore, a 20 year veteran driver as he shares his interview by WSJ journalist Betsy Morris from the report entitled: Too Many Trucks,Too Little Parking. Dave will also share his thoughts about the trip with WSJ photographers and his encounter with a tired trucker at a truck stop in Clines Corners, New Mexico. Dave and fiancée, Robin, run their active Facebook group, Give Truckers Room, educating drivers of passenger vehicles how to drive safely around semi trucks. Also joining us will be Nicholas Carretta, President and CEO of UltraShipTMS which specializes in transportation and technology solutions. UltraShipTMS quickly responded to the WSJ article and addressed the serious parking shortage in their own article, “Use YMS to Combat Truck Parking Crisis" which stated: "Keeping drivers off of public streets, freeway ramps and vulnerable, remote parking places like abandoned lots is a laudable goal.  It is also one that logistics as an industry is going to be forced to address." Mr. Carretta will discuss the UltraYMS tool, allowing the logistics sector to take an active and responsible part in the truck parking shortage solution.

With Poems on Various Subjects, Religious and Moral (1773), Phillis Wheatley became the first English-speaking person of African descent to publish a book and only the second woman -- of any race or background -- to do so in America. Written in Boston while she was just a teenager, and still a slave, Wheatley's work was an international sensation. In Phillis Wheatley, Vincent Carretta offers the first full-length biography of a figure whose origins and later life have remained shadowy despite her iconic status.A scholar with extensive knowledge of transatlantic literature and history, Carretta uncovers new details about Wheatley's origins, her upbringing, and how she gained freedom. Assessing Wheatley's entire body of work, he discusses the likely role she played in the production, marketing, and distribution of her writing. She developed a remarkable network that transcended racial, class, political, religious, and geographical boundaries.Vincent Carretta is a professor of English at the University of Maryland. His most recent books are Equiano, the African: Biography of a Self-Made Man, winner of the Annibel Jenkins Prize, and The Life and Letters of Philip Quaque, the First African Anglican Missionary, coedited with Ty M. Reese. Recorded On: Sunday, February 26, 2012

Few people can claim to have created a literary genre… Phillis Wheatley did. By the time she was twenty, her name- taken from the slave ship that carried her to America and the family that bought her upon arrival- would be known throughout the world. Extraordinarily well-educated for a woman of her time and place- much less a slave- Wheatley began writing poetry at a young age. The 1773 publication of her first book, entitled Poems on Various Subjects, Religious and Moral, brought her fame and, ultimately, freedom. Though she's celebrated as the mother of African American literature and her poems are taught in schools to this day, Wheatley remains a shadowy figure. In Phillis Wheatley: Biography of a Genius in Bondage (University of Georgia Press, 2011), Vincent Carretta lets the light in. It's a daunting task. When one is writing about 18th people of African descent, sources are often scarce. But Carretta, a professor of English at the University of Maryland, rises to the challenge and painstakingly pieces together what is known about Wheatley's life. In particular, Carretta illuminates how Wheatley's evangelical Christianity was a subtle rebellion against slavery and also the means by which she got her words into print. The Phillis Wheatley that emerges in Biography of a Genius in Bondage is an alarmingly modern character- canny, innovative and determined to get her poems into print. That she was able to do so as a woman in the 18th century is impressive. That she was able to do so as a slave is extraordinary. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
