C'est une idée qui peut sembler complètement folle : supprimer les feux rouges, retirer les panneaux, effacer les marquages au sol… Bref, laisser la route “nue”.Et pourtant, aux Pays-Bas, cette approche porte un nom : les “naked roads”, les routes dénudées.Dans le petit village d'Oosterwolde, dans le centre du pays, cette mesure a été adoptée avec un objectif clair : responsabiliser les conducteurs. Plus de signalisation verticale, très peu de marquages au sol, pas de feux tricolores. Résultat ? Moins d'accidents.Pourquoi ça fonctionne ? Parce que lorsque les repères habituels disparaissent, les conducteurs redoublent d'attention. Ils ne peuvent plus se reposer sur un feu vert ou un panneau pour décider. Ils doivent observer, anticiper, établir un contact visuel avec les autres usagers : piétons, cyclistes, automobilistes.On recrée en réalité un espace partagé où chacun devient acteur de la sécurité collective. La règle reste simple : limitation à 30 km/h, priorité de droite et priorité aux piétons. Mais l'absence de balisage impose une vigilance constante.Et ce n'est pas un cas isolé. Il y a déjà 25 ans, la ville de Drachten avait supprimé une grande partie de ses feux et panneaux. Certaines zones n'ont même plus de trottoirs clairement délimités. On parle d'une diminution des accidents pouvant aller jusqu'à 85 %. Aujourd'hui, entre 150 et 200 communes néerlandaises ont adopté ce principe de circulation partagée.Visuellement, cela peut sembler chaotique. Mais c'est précisément ce léger inconfort qui oblige chacun à ralentir et à faire preuve de prudence.Autre pays, autre stratégie : direction la Chine. Dans la ville de Chongqing, un centre d'essai unique au monde teste les véhicules dans des conditions extrêmes. L'objectif ? Mettre à l'épreuve les systèmes avancés d'aide à la conduite.On y simule des pluies diluviennes, un brouillard dense, des chaussées glissantes. Mais ce n'est pas tout : on recrée aussi des scénarios imprévisibles. Un piéton surgit d'un angle mort. Une voiture recule brusquement. Un obstacle apparaît soudainement.Ces tests permettent d'analyser la réaction des capteurs, des radars, des systèmes de freinage automatique ou d'assistance au maintien de voie. L'idée est d'anticiper les situations les plus critiques pour améliorer la fiabilité des technologies embarquées.Si l'Europe est plutôt en avance sur certaines réglementations liées aux aides à la conduite – plusieurs dispositifs deviendront d'ailleurs obligatoires prochainement – la Chine se distingue ici par l'ampleur et la sophistication de ses infrastructures d'essai.Deux visions donc, très différentes mais complémentaires. Aux Pays-Bas, on mise sur le comportement humain, sur la responsabilité individuelle et l'attention mutuelle. En Chine, on investit massivement dans la technologie et l'anticipation des scénarios extrêmes. Dans les deux cas, le même objectif : réduire les accidents et sauver des vies.Finalement, que ce soit par la sobriété des aménagements ou par la haute technologie, la sécurité routière repose toujours sur un équilibre fragile entre vigilance humaine et innovation. 1. ¿Como es un ensayo de referencia dentro del estándar RECAR? • CESVIMAP forma parte de la agrupación internacional RECAR, red de centros de investigación que comparten protocolos comunes de ensayo. • Los Crash Tests realizados en este marco siguen un estándar técnico que define velocidades, ángulos e impactos con el fin de analizar la reparabilidad de los vehículos, no la seguridad de los ocupantes. • El objetivo principal es determinar el coste medio de reparación tras un impacto controlado, información esencial para las aseguradoras (en este caso, MAPFRE) en el cálculo de primas y gestión de siniestros. 2. ¿Qué objetivo tenía estos ensayos? estudiar la reparabilidad, no la seguridad • CESVIMAP no evalúa la seguridad de los ocupantes, función que corresponde a entidades como Euro NCAP, sino la viabilidad económica y técnica de la reparación. • Se busca conocer cuánto cuesta reparar un vehículo tras un impacto estándar, y si esa reparación es económicamente sostenible frente a la sustitución. • Cada año se realizan entre 13 y 14 Crash Tests de turismos, con impacto delantero y trasero, aplicando siempre las mismas condiciones estandarizadas. 3. ¿Cómo son los ensayos RECAR? • Impacto trasero: o Se simula un golpe urbano a 15 km/h. o La plataforma utilizada pesa 1.400 kg y no tiene deformación, representando un vehículo rígido. o El golpe se realiza con una inclinación de 10° para reproducir una maniobra de esquiva y afecta al 40 % derecho de la parte trasera del vehículo, el área más habitual de impacto. • Impacto delantero: o El vehículo colisiona contra un muro de hormigón indeformable de 35 toneladas, construido in situ. o El muro se desplaza por un sistema de aire comprimido que permite su recolocación precisa. o El impacto se produce también con 10° de inclinación y a 15 km/h sobre la parte delantera izquierda. Estos dos ensayos permiten comparar, en igualdad de condiciones, los costes de reparación entre modelos y fabricantes. 4. ¿Cómo son los ensayos de motocicleta? una línea de investigación sin estándar definido • CESVIMAP realiza alrededor de cuatro Crash Tests de motos al año, aunque no existe un protocolo internacional equivalente al RECAR para motocicletas. • Los impactos se efectúan igualmente a 15 km/h, con el propósito de evaluar daños reparables, evitando la destrucción total del vehículo. • En este caso, el interés técnico radica en analizar la interacción entre moto y coche y los posibles costes derivados de la reparación. 5. ¿Viste Un Crash Test especial: motocicleta con airbag a 40 km/h? • En la jornada del congreso se ejecutó un ensayo especial, más visual y técnico que los habituales: o Impacto a 40 km/h, la velocidad máxima que permite la pista de ensayo. o Participó un dummie equipado con un airbag de accionamiento mecánico, instalado por una empresa especializada, para analizar su despliegue y capacidad protectora. El ensayo, además de mostrar los daños en la moto y en el vehículo, permitió observar el comportamiento del airbag en tiempo real, sin sensores de medición compleja, como demostración práctica del dispositivo. Taucht ein in ein interessantes, unterhaltsames und offenes Gespräch mit Fynn Kliemann, geführt von Georg Nolte, Pressesprecher von YouTube in Deutschland, direkt im Kliemannsland. Fynn Kliemann erzählt von seinen frühen YouTube-Anfängen am 30. August 2009 mit dem Kanal "X Most Important". Er war damals 20 Jahre alt und sah YouTube als eine "Crème de la Crème der Kreativität" und eine "Zusammensetzung an Spinnern", die alles machen konnten. Bevor er sich ganz YouTube widmete, arbeitete er als Designer und Programmierer in seiner eigenen Agentur, verließ diesen Job aber, als er ihm zu langweilig und standardisiert wurde. Das Kliemannsland, das vor etwa sieben Jahren als Hof zum "Scheiße bauen" begann, hat sich zu einem großen DIY Erlebnishof Europas und einem YouTube-Projekt entwickelt, das sogar ein Hotel baut. Es war das erste onboardete Format von Funk (2016-2020). Kliemann reflektiert über die schwierige Zeit während des "großen Sturms" rund um die Berichterstattung des ZDF Magazin Royale, in der er YouTube pausierte. Er entschied sich bewusst gegen ein großes Video-Statement, da eine Selbstverteidigung in diesem Umfang nie "geil" sei. Als Konsequenz aus dieser Erfahrung hat er seine Teams restrukturiert und seine neun Firmen auf drei reduziert, um die volle Kontrolle zu behalten und bürokratischen Wahnsinn zu minimieren, da ihm dieser Energie raubt. Sein Lebensziel ist es, maximal viel kreativen Output zu leisten und jeden Tag etwas Neues zu erschaffen. Er betrachtet das Kliemannsland als "Schmiede", in der utopische Ideen Realität werden können. Diese Vision wurde maßgeblich durch einen Besuch bei dem deutschen Künstler Anselm Kiefer in Südfrankreich beeinflusst. Zum Thema KI erklärt Kliemann, dass er sie primär zur Effizienzsteigerung nutzt (z.B. für Apps, Coding oder für die Berechnung von Crash-Tests bei seinen E-Buggies). Die Ideenfindung hingegen soll beim Menschen bleiben, da KI lediglich bestehende Ideen wiedergibt. Als großes Zukunftsziel kündigt er an, Kliemannsland zu einem "Portalprojekt" zu machen. Er möchte YouTube-Creatorn wie Survival Mattin (der einen Bunker bauen will) oder MontanaBlack eine Infrastruktur zur Verfügung stellen, damit sie dort ihre krassen Projekte verwirklichen können, ohne sich um Behörden, Brandschutz oder Bauanträge kümmern zu müssen. Dadurch können Menschen die verschiedenen "Ausstellungsbereiche" vor Ort besuchen. Hat man den richtigen Weihnachtsbaum für das Fest gefunden, folgt die zweite Herausforderung: Wie bringt man die Tanne sicher und heil nach Hause? Gut festbinden heisst die Devise. Sonst kann es gefährlich und teuer werden. Im Strassenverkehrsgesetz steht, dass eine Ladung am oder im Auto so anzubringen ist, dass sie niemanden gefährdet oder belästigt und nicht herunterfallen kann. Daher ist wichtig, dass man auch den Christbaum gut sichert, bevor die Heimfahrt beginnt. Tut man dies nicht, kann der Baum bei einem Unfall oder bei einer Vollbremsung zum gefährlichen Geschoss werden. Ausserdem kann eine Busse von mehreren hundert Franken blühen. Transport im Kofferraum * Hintersitze herunterklappen, damit so viel Baum wie möglich, ins Auto passt. * Den Baum mit dem Stamm voraus in den Kofferraum legen. * Wichtig: Nicht in die Mitte legen, sonst kann er bei einem Crash durch die Windschutzscheibe fliegen. Der Stamm sollte direkt an der Rückenlehne des Vordersitzes anstossen. Zum Schutz des Sitzes können Sie ein Holzbrett zwischen Sitz und Stamm klemmen. * Binden Sie den Baum fest. Am besten mit robusten Spanngurten. Wickeln Sie diese einmal um den Stamm und einmal um den Baum und binden Sie alles nach hinten. So kann der Baum bei einem Aufprall nicht rutschen. In den meisten Kofferräumen sind für das Festbinden extra Ösen vorhanden. * Schliessen Sie den Kofferraum so weit wie möglich und fixieren Sie auch diesen, damit er sich während der Fahrt nicht öffnet. * Achten Sie darauf, dass der Baum nicht Rücklichter oder Nummernschild verdeckt. * Hängt der Christbaum über einen Meter weit aus dem Auto, muss an der Spitze ein Warnsignal (Pyramide oder Kegel, orange-weiss gestreift) angebracht werden. Transport auf dem Autodach * Grössere Bäume transportiert man besser auf dem Dach – sofern ein Dachständer vorhanden ist. * Der Christbaum darf ab Hinterachse fünf Meter nach hinten und ab Mitte Lenkrad drei Meter nach vorne reichen. * Der Baum darf seitlich nicht über das Auto hängen und natürlich darf er dem Fahrer oder der Fahrerin nicht die Sicht einschränken. Ebenso muss darauf geachtet werden, dass keine anderen Verkehrsteilnehmer gefährdet werden. * Die Tannennadeln können den Lack verkratzen. Spannen Sie daher ein Tuch über das Dach – indem Sie die Enden in den Autotüren einklemmen. Oder packen Sie die Tanne in eine Decke ein. * Der Stamm schaut nach vorne – Richtung Motorhaube, damit der Fahrtwind keine Äste abbrechen kann. * Auch hier sind gute Spanngurten zwingend. Gummibänder mit Metallhaken oder Schnüre sind zu schwach und können bei einem Aufprall reissen. Das zeigen Crashtests eindrücklich. * Wickeln Sie auch hier die Gurte zuerst einmal um den Stamm und dann einmal um den Baum und befestigen Sie alles gut am Dachträger. Möchte man das Abenteuer Christbaum-Transport nicht wagen, kann man immer noch abklären, ob der Händler einen Lieferservice nach Hause anbietet.

For example, there is a new report out that highlights safety issues with three popular midsize cars.  In addition, Congress has been debating how best to use tax policy to encourage consumers to buy electric vehicles, while also encouraging automakers to move more of their operations out of China, and back to the US.  A third concern we're tackling this week, is the lack of sufficient charging stations for EV drivers who are out on the road, and far from home.  Our special guest is WWJ Radio Detroit Automotive Correspondent, and frequent CBS News Radio contributor, Jeff Gilbert.  We asked him why the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety recently gave the Toyota Camry, Chevy Malibu, and Nissan Altima, poor marks for protecting drivers and passengers from injury in side crashes.
