Houman Z. Emami, a native of Iran (ancient Persia), has a bright academic career in Philosophy and Religion, Holism and Consciousness, with earlier careers in Computer Science, Telecommunications, and a number of educational-institute startups. He has completed undergraduate studies in the above fields, within and without standard academic training, and he continues in his graduate and Ph.D. thesis, “On Intuition, the Heart Faculty, and Theophanies”.Before reaching his eleventh year, Houman had lived through the Iranian revolution of 1979, the Iran and Iraq war of 1981, and the inner-city bombings and atrocities of war. “And that was just the beginning,” he tells us. Miraculous events began as a direct result of these earlier years of awakening and grew in proportion to his yearning. In this way, the dark side of war, and the lesser-known light side of war were made manifest from age five onwards. After several relocations and maturing in both eastern and western cultures before his thirtieth year, Houman had taken part in a relatively successful lifestyle, returned to academia and various spiritual practices thrice, finally taking early retirement in his late twenties, leaving all behind and spending a decade as an independent world-traveler, contemporary monk and spiritual pilgrim. These later awakenings in solitude and on the pilgrim's walk integrated those of his early childhood. At last, returning to worldly life in his late thirties, he continues to impact the world he left behind. Loved ones and relations lovingly refer to him as “scribe,” “pilgrim,” and “scholar.” A “scribe” is one who decodes and deciphers the teachings of the ancient scrolls, which are symbolic representations of transcendent realms made immanent within a simple framework of understanding. A “pilgrim” is one who leaves the mind behind (is a passerby), leads from the heart, “connects the dots,” is a bridge-builder, and a peacemaker. And a “scholar,” from scolere, is one who lives at ease as a student of life, truth, and wisdom. In this respect, he has written:Let the truth of love be & become the love of truth, and the love of truth be & become the truth of love. That means, the soul genuinely desires love and truth, embraced by and swaying this way and that throughout life, in order to teach us that we must love unconditionally but when finding ourselves in the snares of selfish love, we must pursue truth; and we must pursue truth unconditionally but when we find truth become empty tradition and superstition, we must pursue love.In practice, Houman's spiritual invocation consciously began in his early teens, as a result of a near-death experience (NDE)—taking him back to his early childhood visions, and to his native ancestral teachings of the East, Near East, and the Orient. After his near-death experience and remembering his life's calling more fully from age five, Houman recalled all that proceeded from that age in the divine plan, walking them out and remembering them step by step.Years later, these remembrances and awakenings culminated into visionary experiences and embodiments—involving “theophanies,” meaning divine interventions or encounters. Twelve years of practice and integration turned him into an independent spiritual pilgrim in 2003, and he has been traveling the world since. His journey has been one of the most overwhelming stories one might hear. All there is, IS Love for Love IS…

Episode #570: R2-D2 Belongs to You: Building Sovereign AI in the Age of Centralized Power

In this episode of the Crazy Wisdom Podcast, host Stewart Alsop sits down with TJ Marbois, founder of Tobiko, for a wide-ranging conversation that spans LLMs, data sovereignty, knowledge management tools like Obsidian, and Terence McKenna's ideas about an increasingly weird future. They explore how AI is simultaneously centralizing power through data control while decentralizing software development capabilities, allowing more people to build their own tools and escape big tech ecosystems. Drawing on his experience at Apple's special projects group (the team that built the iPod and later iPhones), TJ discusses his vision for personal AI assistants—what he calls the "R2-D2 belongs to you" principle—where advanced technology serves individuals rather than corporations. The conversation touches on everything from quantum encryption and local manufacturing with ESP32 microcontrollers to the economics of future society, biometric data unions, and why distributed trust matters more than ever as we approach what both describe as an increasingly strange technological inflection point. The concept of R2D2 belonging to you represents a critical vision for the future of artificial intelligence and personal technology. When thinking about robots and AI assistants that follow us around and know everything about us, the question of ownership becomes paramount. These systems will know incredibly intimate details about our lives, from our health data to our daily habits, and if they are controlled by centralized corporations or governments rather than individuals, we lose fundamental sovereignty over our own information. The science fiction of Star Wars and Star Trek provides roadmaps for how we should think about these technologies, showing us both the positive possibilities and the warnings we need to heed about centralized control.2. Local AI models and distributed computing represent a pathway to technological sovereignty that is becoming increasingly viable. While large language models currently run primarily in centralized data centers, the technology is rapidly advancing toward a future where powerful models can run locally on personal computers and devices. This shift is crucial because it means individuals can have full control over their AI assistants without relying on API calls to external servers. Combined with open source infrastructure and open weight models, this creates the foundation for truly personal AI that cannot be controlled or monitored by external parties, whether corporations or governments.3. Data unions and collective data ownership offer an alternative model to current centralized data collection practices. Rather than having individual data harvested by large tech companies who profit from it, the concept of data unions suggests people could collectively pool their data for specific beneficial purposes while maintaining ownership and control. For example, in healthcare, millions of people could share anonymized biometric data to train medical AI systems that are incentivized to keep people healthy rather than treat them when sick, inverting the current insurance model to align incentives with actual health outcomes rather than profit from illness.4. The democratization of manufacturing and robotics through accessible technologies like ESP32 microcontrollers and local fabrication tools is creating new possibilities for distributed production. Just as desktop printers seemed impossible to early printers who controlled book production, we are approaching an era where individuals and small communities can manufacture sophisticated electronic devices and robots locally. This includes the ability to use language models to generate code for microcontrollers, order custom PCBs, and use desktop machines for component placement. While high quality manufacturing will still require larger operations, this gradiation of capability allows for much more local innovation and reduces dependence on centralized manufacturing.5. The concentration of power in technology, finance, and industry has reached levels that are unhealthy for both society and even for those who hold the power. When profit and control become too concentrated in the hands of a few entities, it creates a cancerous dynamic that threatens the stability of the entire system. History shows us warnings about the military industrial complex and other concentrated power structures, and now we are seeing similar patterns emerge in the tech industry. The solution requires building technology from the ground up that empowers individuals and communities, focusing on basics like food production, energy generation, and local manufacturing rather than increasing dependence on centralized systems.6. The provenance and quality of information is becoming a critical challenge as AI systems become more sophisticated and reality itself becomes harder to verify. We are rapidly approaching a point where video calls and digital interactions will be indistinguishable from AI generated fakes, which is why figures like Sam Altman have invested in systems like Worldcoin to verify human identity. However, this verification capability should not be centralized in the hands of single companies. End to end encryption and quantum encryption technologies need to be preserved and expanded to allow humans to communicate and verify information peer to peer without centralized intermediaries who could manipulate or control the flow of information.7. The future of human computer interaction is evolving toward sentient loop systems where machines have sensory input, real time learning, context understanding, and continuous operation in service of human needs. Self driving cars represent the first widespread consumer facing example of this architecture, with onboard computers that must function independently while occasionally connecting to networks. The critical question is whether these systems will be aligned to benefit their human users like a caring mother as AI pioneer Geoffrey Hinton suggests, or whether they will be controlled by centralized powers. The technologists building these systems have a responsibility to be benevolent and build structures that serve humanity rather than concentrate power, helping to create a future more like Star Trek than Terminator.

What do people like this see around the corner that the rest of us don't? Why do certain leaders recognize an emerging possibility years before everyone else catches up? Are they geniuses? Pattern-recognition freaks? Secret remote viewers? This week on Open Loops, Greg sits down with Tye Glover, innovation coach, author of The Perception Gap, and creator of Neuro Creative Programming (NCP)—a developing methodology designed to model the perceptual patterns of unusually creative thinkers and make those patterns more accessible to the rest of us. Because maybe creativity isn't simply about having better ideas. Maybe some people are literally noticing different realities. See that one over there? Made you look! This conversation becomes an experience in perception itself. Tye and Greg explore the filters determining what makes it into conscious awareness, what gets deleted before you ever notice it, and whether those filters can actually be trained. And then, surprise surprise, things get weird. Somehow, Tye stands directly in the middle of all of it, trying to take ideas that could easily disappear into the metaphysical abyss and turn them into something practical enough to use inside an office on Monday morning. Why does meditation feel so hard, even when you're doing everything "right"? On this episode of The Skeptic Metaphysicians, Will Rodriguez and Karen Endsley sit down with Peter Russell, Cambridge-trained physicist, consciousness teacher, and author of How to Meditate Without Even Trying, to unpack the one shift that changes everything: effort itself is the obstacle.Peter spent over 50 years teaching meditation and consciousness studies, and in this conversation he breaks down why the "monkey mind" isn't a personal failure, it's a natural brain function, and why trying to control your thoughts is exactly what keeps you stuck. Will and Karen dig into the practical side of effortless meditation, how to return to presence instead of forcing it, what to do when boredom or drowsiness hits, and why letting go of expectations (yes, even the goal of enlightenment) is the fastest way to actually reach a quieter mind. The conversation also moves into deeper territory: the science of what meditation does to your brain (alpha and delta rhythms, the default mode network, the stress response), and the big question Peter's spent a lifetime circling as both a physicist and a meditator, who is the "I" behind all of our thoughts? In this episode:Why trying to control your thoughts makes meditation harder, not easierThe difference between staying present and returning to presenceWhat the "monkey mind" is actually doing, and why it's not the enemyHow self-created discontent and imagined disasters drive daily stressThe neuroscience of meditation: alpha waves, the default mode network, and the relaxation responseQuantum physics, consciousness, and the question "who am I really?"Simple ways to build a mini-meditation practice into everyday lifeAbout our guest:Peter Russell holds degrees in theoretical physics, psychology, and computer science from the University of Cambridge. He studied meditation and Eastern philosophy in India and has spent five decades teaching mindfulness and consciousness studies. He is the author of twelve books, including How to Meditate Without Even Trying (foreword by Eckhart Tolle), From Science to God, and Letting Go of Nothing. The Skeptic Metaphysicians is a top-ranked spirituality podcast hosted by Will Rodriguez and Karen Endsley, exploring consciousness, spiritual awakening, and metaphysics through a skeptic's lens. Nigel Denning joins us to talk about his work with altered states of consciousness, psychedelic-assisted therapy, and holotropic breathwork. In each of these cases, integration is an important part of the experience, and is an ongoing process with multiple aspects that can unfold over time. We also talk about the therapist's role, including the need for presence, minimal intervention, and how to support people without imposing a fixed interpretation.Key TakeawaysNigel Denning is a counseling psychologist with nearly 40 years of experience in psychedelics, non-ordinary states of consciousness, and psychedelic-assisted therapy.Holotropic Breathwork: A method of entering altered states, developed from Stanislav Grof's LSD psychotherapy work, that does not involve any substances at all, but uses accelerated breathing, music, and supportive bodywork.Integration of Non-Ordinary States: A triphasic model that involves first capturing the experience, then translating it into language and story, then finding meaning — which often happens over time, in tandem with traditional therapy.Chapters00:00:00 - Podcast Opening and Guest Intro00:05:15 - Nigel's Psychedelic Beginnings00:17:55 - What Is Holotropic Breathwork?00:24:24 - The Symbolic Mind00:30:56 - Rethinking Psychedelic Integration00:53:00 - The Triphasic Integration Model01:00:48 - Rapid-Fire Reflections01:06:20 - Psychedelic Futures in AustraliaRead the companion article at psychedelicpassage.com.This podcast is edited by Chad Eschman. Our music is by Mic Coats. Psychedelic Passage is your partner in safe, supported, and effective psychedelic journeys. A former scientist and committed atheist, Nancy returned from her near-death experience with a radically transformed understanding of consciousness, the soul, and what she now calls "home."In this episode, Nancy walks through her life review, her spirit guide's beyond-telepathic communication, why she refuses to call it the "afterlife," and the daily practices that keep her connected to source energy a decade after her recovery.KEY TAKEAWAYS00:10 Consciousness can split during trauma — Nancy experienced the accident from two simultaneous vantage points.16:33 A mysterious trauma nurse held Nancy down at the scene, almost certainly preventing her death from a broken neck.27:00 During her NDE, Nancy began remembering that Earth is the simulation, not home.31:42 The life review was the most transformative part — she experienced every event from the perspective of everyone involved.34:06 Thoughts carry energy that extends beyond the skull and affect the people and situations around you.37:11 Communication in the NDE was beyond telepathic — feelings, history, and meaning transmitted in an instant.41:10 We plan our lives at a high level before arriving, including a pre-agreed willingness to experience difficulty.45:11 Nancy's father appeared at the foot of her bed at the exact moment of his death, 250 miles away.54:55 Nancy's bones healed in four weeks despite over 100 fractures — her doctors were stunned.58:07 The heart is the direct channel to source, and 15 minutes of genuine gratitude or love can shift your entire state. If you're ready to take your healing to the next level, schedule your free consultation with Dr. Tara at: https://ConsultTara.com/book

If you’ve ever doubted whether you still had the “music in you,” to take a bold leap at midlife, this conversation with Edi Matsumoto offers proof that reinvention is possible. After 30 years as a nurse practitioner and disallusioned by the health care system, Edi traded in her stethoscope for a paintbrush. We talk about the moment she realized her calling had shifted, the leap of faith that led her to open her own gallery in California, and how a whimsical concept called “Otter Therapy” became a genuine source of joy and healing for thousands of people. In this episode, you'll discover: Why burnout and disillusionment can be the universe’s way of pointing you toward your next chapter, not a sign that you’ve failed. How Edi found her niche by paying attention to what people genuinely responded to, not just what she thought she “should” be painting. Why the Japanese concept of ikigai offers a simple framework for midlife reinvention. How community, like Edi’s monthly “Carmel Bohemian Club” gathering, became essential fuel for staying the course when self-doubt crept in. About My Guest Edi Matsumoto spent nearly 30 years as a nurse practitioner before leaving healthcare in 2021 to become a full-time artist. She’s the creator of “Otter Therapy,” a series of whimsical fine art pieces that reimagine beloved paintings and portraits with sea otters. Join them in exploring what it means to trust your inner knowing and the unseen connections shaping our existence.Dive deep into the themes of intuition, synchronicity, and spiritual guidance in this enlightening episode. Kim stresses the importance of trusting one's gut and recognizing life's synchronicities as a profound form of connection with the universe. With powerful anecdotes and scientific insights, Kim challenges societal norms and invites everyone to embrace their innate spiritual sensitivities for a more fulfilled and aware life.Key Takeaways:Intuition is a powerful tool that can guide individuals through life's complexities, aiding them in making decisions aligned with their highest potential.Near-death experiences often provide profound insights into consciousness and reveal a purpose-filled existence, enhancing one's understanding and appreciation of life.Synchronicities and spiritual signs should be viewed as important, non-random events that invite individuals to pay attention to the deeper meanings in their lives. Many people possess latent spiritual sensitivities, such as clairvoyance and mediumship, often passed down generationally, that remain untapped due to societal constraints.Encouraging conversations on spirituality, especially among youth, can foster a healthier understanding of intuition and potentially mitigate issues like depression and violence.Timestamp Summary3:40 A Spiritual Journey from Reluctance to Fulfillment6:02 Discovering Clairvoyant Abilities Through Personal Loss and Connection10:53 Embracing Intuition and Sensitivity in a Skeptical World18:27 The Transformative Power of Near Death Experiences24:19 The Rise of Light Workers and Spiritual Conversations26:17 A Child's Uncanny Prediction of a Natural Disaster28:58 Communicating With Spirits and Understanding Their Signs36:25 Intuition, Dreams, and Spiritual Connections39:26 The Power and Limits of Prayer in Healing and Loss42:25 Exploring Synchronicities and Dreams as Invitations to Awareness46:21 Unveiling Hidden Psychic Abilities and Family Secrets49:03 Exploring Intuition, Consciousness, and Unseen ConnectionsResources:Visit Kim Bandle's official website for more information: KimSBantle.comPurchase Kim Bandle's memoir: Confessions of a Closeted Clairvoyant on AmazonLink to Transcript https://www.buzzsprout.com/1761155/19672612-intuition-series-the-transformative-power-of-clairvoyance/transcriptSee this video on The Transform Your Mind YouTube Channel https://www.youtube.com/@MyhelpsUs/videosTo see a transcripts of this audio as well as links to all the advertisers on the show page https://myhelps.us/Follow Transform Your Mind on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/myrnamyoung/Follow Transform Your mind on Facebookhttps://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063738390977Please leave a rating and review on iTunes https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/transform-your-mind/id1144973094Feedspot Top 100 Mental Health Podcast For sponsored Brand interviews and sponsorship inquires please visit Partner With The Transform Your Mind Podcast | Myrna Young Life Coach

What if the very darkness you've been trying to escape is actually where your greatest transformation is waiting?Through the teachings of Kabbalah, we discover that our challenges are not signs that we've failed — they are opportunities to retrieve the sparks of Light we left behind. By learning how to revisit our past with compassion, recognize the lessons hidden inside our experiences, and choose a new version of ourselves, we can turn darkness into the very fuel that elevates us.This week is an invitation to stop fighting the parts of ourselves we wish we could erase — and instead uncover the gifts, growth, and divine purpose hidden within them.  Because the darkness you're fighting may be the exact place where your greatest Light is waiting to be revealed.Join us for the next episode of Weekly Energy Boost with @ElishevaBalas.  Watch LIVE Sundays at 10 am PT / 1pm ET on The Kabbalah Centre YouTube or catch the latest episode wherever you listen to podcasts.According to the kabbalists, the holiday of Rosh Hashanah is a window in time when we can transcend space and time to remove judgments from ourselves. Each of our personal movie scripts for the entire upcoming year is determined by our connection to the Light available on Rosh Hashanah. This Light empowers us to change our destiny and draw peace, harmony, and well-being for all of humanity. Together, as a united force, fortified with consciousness and a shofar, we can create change. As it is one of the most powerful days of the year, Kabbalah Centres around the world host connections to the Light available during Rosh Hashanah. What if freedom isn't about escaping the world—but learning how to remain fully yourself within it? In this episode of The Lucas Mack Show, Lucas sits down with world traveler and wisdom seeker Dolores Gil for a powerful conversation about what it means to live with clarity, sovereignty, and connection in an increasingly disconnected world. Drawing from her experiences across cultures and countries, Dolores shares how travel stripped away layers of conditioning and changed the way she sees people, relationships, success, and herself. Together, Lucas and Dolores explore the difference between experience and true wisdom, why authentic freedom requires us to stop abandoning ourselves, and how technology, corporate greed, and cultural division can quietly disconnect us from our humanity. Grant Cameron is a respected UFO researcher, author, and lecturer whose involvement in the subject began in the 1970s after witnessing an unexplained object in the skies over Manitoba, Canada. That experience sparked a lifelong pursuit of answers surrounding UFOs, government secrecy, and the people and agencies connected to the phenomenon. Through decades of research, Freedom of Information Act requests, historical documentation, and interviews with insiders, Cameron has examined how governments have investigated and responded to UFO encounters. His work has earned him international recognition and made him a prominent voice in the UFO research community. In more recent years, Cameron's research has expanded beyond government disclosure to explore the deeper connection between UFO encounters and human consciousness. He believes the phenomenon may involve far more than physical craft and extraterrestrial visitors, raising important questions about consciousness, perception, altered states, and the nature of reality itself. Combining traditional UFO research with an openness to the metaphysical and unexplained, Cameron continues to challenge conventional thinking about what the phenomenon may represent. He remains a popular speaker at conferences, podcasts, and events around the world, sharing his evolving theories on UFOs, disclosure, consciousness, and humanity's place in a much larger mystery.Spaced Out Radio is your nightly source for alternative information, starting at 9pm Pacific, 12am Eastern.  We broadcast LIVE every night. #UFO #UAP #AlienDisclosure #UFOSightings #UFOCoverUp #Aliens #SpacedOutRadio #Paranormal #UFOCommunity #disclosure -------------------------------------------------------You can now join the Space Traveler's Club;Join us at  https://www.patreon.com/sor_space_travelers_club  --------------------------------------------------------Grab Our Latest Spaced Out Radio Gear At:http://spacedoutradio.com/shop  It's a great way to support our show!--------------------------------------------------------OUR LINKS:TWITTER: https://www.twitter.com/spacedoutradio   FACEBOOK:https://www.facebook.com/spacedoutradioshow  SPACED OUT RADIO - INSTAGRAM:https://www.instagram.com/spacedoutradioshow  DAVE SCOTT - INSTAGRAM:https://www.instagram.com/davescottsor   TWITCH: https://www.twitch.com/spacedoutradioshow  WEBSITE: http://www.spacedoutradio.comGUEST IDEAS OR QUESTIONS FOR SOR?Contact Klaus at bookings@spacedoutradio.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/spaced-out-radio--1657874/support.

Why You Can't Stop Being Productive Why can it feel easier to keep working when you're exhausted than it does to simply stop? In this episode, D'Arcy looks underneath overworking to the unconscious patterns that can make rest surprisingly uncomfortable. Sometimes the issue isn't that we're "bad at resting." Rest isn't creating the anxiety. Rest is revealing the anxiety that activity was covering. Scarcity tells us there isn't enough time, money, momentum or opportunity, so stopping feels irresponsible. Being useful gets rewarded. Being capable becomes part of our identity. And eventually we can start living by rules we never consciously chose: I can rest when everything is handled. Everyone and everything gets taken care of before I do. I have to earn rest. Except everything is never handled — so we keep moving the finish line. D'Arcy shares how productivity became part of her own identity, what burnout forced her to confront, and what ten days in silence and two months away from Instagram taught her about who she is when she isn't producing. In this episode: Why rest can sometimes make you anxious How scarcity creates the urge to do more Why "I'll rest when…" becomes an impossible finish line When being capable turns into an identity How we condition ourselves to ignore our bodies and push through Why stillness can feel uncomfortable after years of productivity What silence taught D'Arcy about existing without being useful How to begin making an unconscious productivity pattern conscious Your Brain Rewire Finish this sentence: I can rest when __________. Then ask yourself: What do I believe rest says about me? What do I believe will happen if I stop? Whose approval did usefulness once earn me? The next time you feel the impulse to get up and make yourself useful, don't immediately obey it. Notice the rule first. Consciousness comes before choice.

What Is Truth? Exploring Consciousness Beyond What We're Taught, with Alan Gillanders

Have you ever stopped and asked yourself, what is truth? Not the surface answer, not what we've been told, but the deep, quiet question underneath. What if everything we know about reality, about who we are, is just one layer of a much bigger story? Alan Gillanders, an author and quantum consciousness teacher who has spent over four decades studying spiritual traditions and quantum theory, joins host Sreemedha to talk about truth beyond dogma, why he sees all of us as co-creators of reality, and what happens when we sit in stillness long enough to actually listen. About the Guest: Alan Gillanders is a quantum consciousness teacher, artist, and author who bridges science, spirituality, and lived experience. Drawing on decades of studying ancient spiritual traditions and quantum theory, he is the author of the forthcoming book The Sacred Hum of I AM, exploring consciousness, manifestation, and the unseen aspects of reality. Key Takeaways: Alan describes the truths that matter most, why we're here, what we are, where we're going, as the ones institutions and upbringing rarely address directly. Everyone's understanding of truth looks a little different, and that diversity of perspective is something to allow rather than correct. Turning off the noise, social media, distractions, and sitting in quiet stillness is how Alan describes tuning into deeper guidance. What we focus on and believe, according to Alan, shapes the reality that follows, small and large. When someone else's frustration is directed at you, Alan suggests it usually has more to do with what they're carrying than anything about you. Most human beings mistakenly identify with the mind and live inside its endless stream of thoughts rather than directly experiencing reality. Reality can be defined as different vibration rates of energy, from matter to emotions to mind to blissful consciousness. Human suffering arises because of the mind’s preferences and judgments that cause us to resist some experiences and cling to others. The spiritual path is one of openness, surrender, and allowing life to pass through, which ultimately leads to realizing oneself as the conscious awareness that is observing all experiences. © Sounds True Inc.
