Tahir talks about getting older and reconsidering what success actually means: Does he still want maximum Hollywood fame, or would making great work for an audience that genuinely cares be enough? That leads to a conversation about comedy as a craft, short attention spans, IRL streaming, artistic freedom, celebrity, privacy, and why artists like Yasiin Bey, Erykah Badu, Curren$y, and Terence Crawford represent a different kind of success.Join our Patreon now!! https://www.patreon.com/DamInternetYouScary00:00 Humanoid Robots Are Getting Way Too Fast01:33 What Happens When AI Meets the Robots?04:42 Economic Anxiety and the “Stop Paying Bills” Plan11:07 The World Humanoid Robot Games13:17 Our Apocalypse Plans Have a Problem14:43 Would You Get Robot Body Parts?17:17 The Great Bill-Paying Boycott Debate20:03 Mint Mobile22:44 People Are Smoking Scorpions?24:22 A Different Way to Think About Giving26:45 Texas Roadhouse Allegations29:55 Why Tahir Is Tired of Eating Out30:30 Tipping, Wages and Restaurant Prices36:45 PrizePicks39:09 The Former Power Ranger Burglary Story41:18 Pitching the “Robber Rangers” Movie43:47 LA Restaurant Health Closures45:09 The Problem With Food Delivery Apps48:00 Could Tahir Leave Hollywood for a Farm?50:02 GLD52:05 Rethinking the Dream53:33 Getting Older Changes Your Definition of Success55:30 Drake, Yasiin Bey and Art vs. Celebrity57:15 Finding the Right Level of Fame1:00:49 Quince1:03:54 Why Some Concert Crowds Feel Different1:04:51 IRL Streaming and Clout Culture1:05:31 Comedy Still Requires the Work1:08:00 Every Entertainment Industry Has This Problem1:09:00 Terence Crawford and Success on Your Own Terms1:09:42 Knowing When Enough Is Enough1:12:16 One Last “Stop Paying Bills” Plan1:14:15 Patrick and Tahir's Upcoming Projects1:16:48 Outro

The President is now beefing with Hasan Piker. God, please save us. On today's episode, the boys talk about how the internet isn't real life (or at least, shouldn't be), why we don't trust Hakeem Jeffries to do anything positive in his secret meeting with Jared Kushner, a series of republican switch ups (on data centers & AIPAC), and Ezra Klein's latest think piece about Twitter. The internet is not real life, and this merger between online political discourse and actual politics is messy, to say the least.Early access on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/headintheofficepodYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4iJ-UcnRxYnaYsX_SNjFJQSubscribe to second channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3UoTN328OA7fK2dzicP-ZATikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@headintheoffice?lang=enInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/headintheoffice/Twitter: https://twitter.com/headintheofficeThreads: https://www.threads.com/@headintheofficeDiscord: https://discord.gg/hito Collab inquiries: headintheofficepod@gmail.com(0:00) STOP TALKING ABOUT HASAN PIKER(9:30) Hakeem Jeffries meets with Jared Kushner(15:25) Mike Rogers distances himself from AIPAC(24:00) Republicans switch up on data centers(36:10) Ezra Klein, woke 1.0, conservative media bias(1:12:00) Reviews/endingSeen on this episode:Hakeem Jeffries meets with Kushner - https://www.nytimes.com/2026/08/23/us/politics/jeffries-kushner-private-meeting.html Recent GOP flip flops on AIPAC & data centers - https://www.axios.com/2026/08/22/mike-rogers-aipac-michigan-senate https://www.politico.com/news/2026/08/24/data-centers-oh-s-t-moment-01046465 https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2026/08/23/most-gop-politicians-now-talk-negatively-about-data-centers-data-shows/ https://www.axios.com/2026/08/23/greg-abbott-texas-data-centers-ai-backlash https://prospect.org/2026/08/20/mi-07-tom-barrett-scrambles-to-bury-his-data-center-past/ Ezra Klein article - https://www.nytimes.com/2026/08/23/opinion/twitter-x-woke-1-elon-musk.htmlhttps://www.cnn.com/2025/09/10/politics/relationship-charlie-kirk-donald-trump

There are a few candidates for the title "the real Indiana Jones" but Percy Fawcett is the man whose reputation most inspired our favorite fictional archaeologist. This morning I wanted to flush my kid down the toilet, it was just one of those mornings. It made me realize that while last week we had a great chat about reactive regulation, it was a bit heavy on the theory vs practical application. I'm extending that conversation today to share some real life examples of how I use these tools in my everyday life, how I used them this morning with my son. So, here's Part 6 of my Back to the Basics Series.CLICK HERE for the full show notes, resources, and 3 tangible takeaways!—Ps. This is a re-run of this series. It originally aired in February 2025, and is still the series I hear back about the most. Since there's been a wave of new listeners joining lately, I wanted to bring it back around. And for those of you who were here the first time, I invite you to listen again through the lens of where you are right now, it's likely shifted over the last year and a half, and just see what lands differently.Looking for more personalized support? 1:1 Coaching (RESTORE): Learn more or book a free discovery call (HSA/FSA eligible & includes comprehensive bloodwork)Regulated Living Membership: A mental health membership and nervous system healing space (sliding scale pricing available). What happens when Christianity, atheism, Islam, and competing worldviews meet around the dinner table? Many Christians know what they believe but feel intimidated when someone challenges their faith. Questions about science, suffering, other religions, morality, and the reliability of the Bible can quickly make us feel unprepared. But apologetics was never meant to remain in classrooms and formal debates. Dr. Louis Markos joins Dr. Jeff Myers to explore apologetics as it actually happens: through conversations with real people asking difficult questions. Drawing from his book My Apologetics Dinner Party: A Real-Life Socratic Dialogue, Markos explains how Christians can uncover the worldview assumptions beneath objections, engage atheists and people of other religions with conviction and respect, and learn from Jesus's approach to questions and disagreement. Discover how to defend the Christian faith without reducing apologetics to winning arguments, and how truth, wisdom, humility, and persuasion can work together to point people toward Christ.
Sexier Than A Squirrel: Dog Training That Gets Real Life Results
Send us Fan MailWelcome to this episode of the Sexier than a Squirrel podcast, the podcast that brings you real-life dog training results, and sometimes human training ones too! This week, Lauren and Alice tackle one of the biggest frustrations in dog training: why does your dog seem to listen perfectly at home, then forget everything the moment you step outside? If you've ever wondered why a brilliant behaviour in your living room completely disappears on a walk - and how to bridge that gap - this episode is for you.Together, they explore why dogs don't automatically transfer skills from one environment to another, and why expecting them to do so can leave both ends of the lead feeling frustrated. You'll discover why training for the situation is so much more effective than trying to train in the situation, and how building the right foundations before heading into busy environments can completely change the outcome.Lauren and Alice also share the practical progression they use to help dogs succeed in the real world. From your living room and garden to quiet public spaces, secure fields, industrial estates and even car parks, they explain how carefully choosing your training environments gives your dog the chance to practise the right behaviours before distractions become overwhelming. You'll hear why these often-overlooked locations can be some of the very best places to build loose lead walking, engagement and confidence.Along the way, they discuss why taking a short break from traditional walks can sometimes be the kindest thing you can do, how to prevent unwanted rehearsal before it becomes a habit, and why setting your dog up to succeed is one of the fastest ways to build skills that genuinely stick. Whether you're raising a puppy, living with a reactive dog or simply dreaming of calmer, more connected walks, this episode is packed with practical ideas you can start using straight away.Ready to take those brilliant skills from your living room out into the real world?
After a two-week break (and a whole lot of pre-recording), Giana and Bradshaw are finally back together for a much-needed catch-up episode, and a lot has happened!Giana shares reflections from giving birth and the first weeks of motherhood, from letting go of expectations and slowing down to putting nervous system regulation into practice when there's a screaming baby in your arms. She talks about releasing the pressure to do things “right,” staying present through the unknown, the myth of having it all, and why she refuses to look back with regret.Meanwhile, Bradshaw catches us up on a summer of travel and retreats in Italy and Portugal. He reflects on the importance of letting go of control, choosing opportunities from a place of passion, and what it's been like watching the community they've built through the podcast and Instagram come to life through real friendships and experiences around the world. This episode is less about having a lesson to teach and more about reflecting on the season we're both in- birth, travel, change, community, surrender, and learning how to simply be present. We missed you. It feels good to be back.Want to support our podcast? Join our Patreon for extra content

In this News Roundup, Jon Harris examines the Florida gubernatorial Republican primary and what the results reveal about the growing disconnect between online political influence and actual voters. The conversation then moves beyond Florida to the condition of the Bible Belt, the decline of Southern culture, the rise of socialism within the Democratic Party, and the question of whether the Christian influence of the South is really disappearing.Jon also discusses evangelical news, AI and Christian publishing, the dangers of lowering standards for political and religious leaders, and the growing problem of ecumenism on the Christian Right. Finally, Jon takes a close look at the “Christ Is King” conference and the decision to feature Alex Jones, examining Jones's statements about God, salvation, spirituality, and the nature of Christ. The question is not simply whether someone uses Christian language, but whether what they actually believe is consistent with Christianity. This episode is about politics, Christianity, institutional leadership, the Bible Belt, and the importance of looking beyond rhetoric to character, competence, theology, and reality.Jon's Music: jonharristunes.comTo Support the Podcast: https://www.jonharrismedia.com/support/Become a Patronhttps://www.patreon.com/jonharrispodcastSubstack: https://substack.com/@jonharris Follow Jon on Twitter: https://twitter.com/jonharris1989Follow Jon on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/jonharris1989/00:00 — Florida's Republican Primary08:45 — The Numbers Do Not Match the Internet14:00 — When Spoilers Become a Political Strategy20:50 — Democrats, Socialism, and the New Coalition37:27 — Is the Bible Belt Gone?50:00 — Christianity, Politics, and AI1:04:56 — Is It Ever Too Late for Revival?1:05:04 — When “Christ Is King” Becomes a Problem1:17:00 — What Alex Jones Actually BelievesSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/conversations-that-matter8971/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Greg Jenner is joined in the eighteenth-century Caribbean by historian and curator Hannah Cusworth and comedian Kemah Bob to learn about the swashbuckling lives of pirates Anne Bonny and Mary Read. These women and their adventures on the high seas have become the stuff of legend, helped along by the sensational account of their lives written shortly after their capture. Though they are famous for the short period they spent together on a pirate ship, dressed as men to hide their true identities, the two had very different backgrounds. Anne was the well-off and rebellious daughter of a merchant and plantation owner in Carolina, while the working-class Mary already had experience dressing in men's clothing and working as a sailor and soldier. This episode traces their biographies, exploring their upbringings, romantic entanglements (with men and each other), and time aboard the pirate ship captained by the infamous Captain 'Calico Jack' Rackham, as well as their ultimate fate. And it looks at the wider context of the Caribbean, the transatlantic trade in enslaved Africans and the Golden Age of piracy which shaped their lives and choices, and asks what place they have in queer and trans histories of the period. If you're a fan of swashbuckling pirates, women in male professions, and the complicated history of slavery and colonialism in the Caribbean, you'll love our episode on Anne Bonny and Mary Read. If you want more from Kemah Bob, listen to our episodes on Hatshepsut or Prohibition in the USA. And for more swashbuckling women, check out our episodes on duellist and opera singer Julie d'Aubigny, Chinese pirate queen Zheng Yi Sao, or Irish pirate Grainne O'Malley. Long before Clint Hurdle became one of baseball's most recognizable managers, he was the kid everyone expected to become a star.A first-round draft pick of the Kansas City Royals in 1975, Hurdle reached the major leagues at 20 and soon found himself on the cover of Sports Illustrated under enormous expectations. His playing career ultimately followed a different path — but the lessons that came with it would shape everything that followed.Hurdle went on to build a remarkable second act as a coach, teacher, and manager. He led the Colorado Rockies to the 2007 World Series and later helped transform the Pittsburgh Pirates, taking them back to the postseason in 2013 after a 20-year absence. But his most important story may be the one beyond wins and losses. In this episode of Stories from Real Life, Melvin E. Edwards talks with Clint Hurdle about being labeled a future star before adulthood, confronting disappointment, learning from failure, sobriety, family, leadership and discovering that sometimes the life you were supposed to have isn't nearly as meaningful as the life you eventually build.Hurdle-isms bookMedia Well Done, LLC Get full access to Melvin E. Welcome to Episode 320 of Autism Parenting Secrets. Many parents are understandably cautious about technology. And for good reason. Screens are everywhere. Devices are everywhere. Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing how we live. And virtual reality is becoming more accessible than ever. So where does it fit? Should it simply be avoided, or could it become another valuable tool to help children learn and grow? Vijay Ravindran is the founder and CEO of Floreo, a virtual reality-based therapeutic platform designed to help autistic and neurodivergent individuals build social, communication, behavioral, and independent living skills. In this conversation, Vijay shares the personal story that inspired Floreo, explains why practicing skills in a low-pressure virtual environment can improve real-world learning, and discusses the clinical research supporting this approach. He also addresses an important concern many parents have: how to use technology intentionally, thoughtfully, and in moderation while keeping the focus on helping children thrive. Whether or not virtual reality ultimately becomes part of your child's journey, this episode offers a practical framework for thinking differently about how learning happens and how technology may complement, rather than replace, the important work already being done by parents, therapists, and educators. The secret this week is… Virtual Reality Prepares For Real Life You'll Discover: Why practicing in a low-pressure environment can build real-world confidence (5:11) How Floreo keeps parents and therapists actively involved throughout every lesson (13:04) Why just 20 minutes per week produced meaningful clinical improvements (18:41) Why children with higher support needs showed the greatest gains in Floreo's clinical trial (25:11) The encouraging message every autism parent needs to hear about their child's potential (34:32) About Our Guest: Vijay Ravindran is the founder and CEO of Floreo, a virtual reality-based digital therapeutic company developing FDA-regulated software-as-a-medical-device (SaMD) treatments for autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Under his leadership, Floreo has earned FDA Breakthrough Device Designation, completed a pivotal randomized controlled trial demonstrating statistically significant clinical outcomes, and expanded its platform across clinics, schools, and homes while pursuing FDA De Novo clearance. Prior to founding Floreo, Vijay served as Chief Digital Officer of The Washington Post and previously held senior software engineering and product leadership roles at Amazon, where he helped launch Amazon Prime. Floreo was inspired by his experience as the father of a child on the autism spectrum. https://floreovr.com/ Additional Resources: To learn more about personalized 1:1 support go to www.elevatehowyounavigate.com If you enjoyed this episode, share it with your friends.

You think you need another diet. But what if what you really need is a new identity to step into? In this episode of Midlife Badassery, I'm joined by Christie and Kathy—two women using alter egos to make weight loss, reinvention, and the messy middle of becoming her feel practical, powerful, and even fun.Christie shares how Sovereign Phoenix helped her leave “golden footprints,” regulate her nervous system, interrupt old choices, and build evidence of the woman she is becoming—even while life was seriously life-ing.Kathy shares her evolution from Phoenix to Queen, why the Queen doesn't need to keep starting over, and how curiosity, ritual, community, and one more aligned decision helped her step into a bigger life. This isn't about pretending to be someone else. “My writing often comes to me that way–something that interests me in the real life world, something kind of political and thorny, something I don't entirely totally know how I think about it, something I'm interested in exploring.” These words from short story writer and novelist Claire Boyles are at the heart of this episode on the relationship between fiction and real life. How might having personal experience in a certain arena both help and hinder our ability to use it as material for fiction? How can characters drive the way opinions are explored in a book? How do we create more compelling characters? What must be let go as we create a fictional realm? How can fiction help us explore “thorny” political themes? And how might our past lives help us in practical ways as we move forward in our creative lives?Claire Boyles (she/her) is a writer and former farmer. Her debut novel, Appraisals, is forthcoming in August 2026. A 2022 Whiting Award winner in fiction, she is the author of Site Fidelity, which won the High Plains Book Award and was longlisted for the PEN/Robert W. Bingham Award, the Colorado Book Award, and the Reading the West Award. Her nonfiction has appeared in Sierra Magazine and Virginia Quarterly Review, among other journals, and she is a screenwriter with multiple credits on the Hallmark Channel. She splits time between Loveland, Colorado and Ames, Iowa, where she is an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing and the Environment at Iowa State University.Claire will be a speaker at the Grand Mesa Writer's Symposium in Cedaredge on September 12. This episode of Ask Me Anything tackles the real-life challenges men face as they age, lead families, navigate friendships and raise children. Ryan and Kipp discuss making peace with physical decline, giving teenagers room to develop independence, and questioning popular self-help advice. They also explore how to rebuild trust after betrayal, what masculine leadership looks like when raising daughters, and how to manage anger without repeating the patterns of our fathers. The conversation closes with a deeply personal discussion about lessons inherited from fathers, the danger of confusing exhaustion with productivity, and finding a healthier balance between work, relationships and life. Tomer Tzaban, a former Israeli counterterrorism operative who spent a decade conducting undercover missions in Gaza, has detailed his experiences in a podcast interview about his book, “The Ghosts of Rafah: An Undercover Counter-Terrorism Agent in the Heart of the Middle East Conflict.” Tzaban spoke with Alan Skorski on the Alan Skorski Reports podcast about his years with the elite Shimshon unit, where he served from 1986 to 1996. The unit operated undercover inside Gaza, with agents frequently assuming Arab identities and relying on disguises and carefully developed cover stories. Tzaban described operations that involved tracking terrorist suspects, preventing attacks and targeting members of armed groups. One operation involved a group of terrorists who, according to Tzaban, had disguised themselves as young Orthodox Jewish men as part of a plan to abduct Israeli soldiers and hold them for ransom. Tzaban also described an operation in which an intended target was located in a heavily populated area. The team abandoned the mission after a large number of children emerged from a nearby school, he said. Protecting civilians took precedence over completing the operation, consistent with the procedures under which the unit operated. Maintaining a convincing disguise required attention to details that went far beyond clothing and appearance. Tzaban said operatives had to understand local customs, speech patterns and even seemingly insignificant differences in daily life. He recalled that agents avoided strongly scented personal-care products because unfamiliar fragrances could make them appear out of place. Teams also worked with local Arabic speakers who could navigate regional dialects and social nuances. According to Tzaban, Gaza's different areas had distinct dialects, making language a potentially dangerous vulnerability. An operative could speak Arabic well and still attract attention by using words or pronunciation associated with another region. The conversation also touched on “Fauda,” the Israeli television series about undercover counterterrorism operatives. Tzaban said he knows several actors involved with the series and believes some of the show's early storylines drew heavily on the kinds of missions conducted by units such as Shimshon. His book recounts individual operations while also examining the personal cost of spending years working undercover. Tzaban described the constant pressure of maintaining a false identity and the psychological effects that could continue long after an operation ended. Tzaban also discussed security concerns in Europe, arguing that some extremist organizations have pursued strategies for decades that are now becoming more visible. He warned that Western countries, including the United States, should study those developments rather than wait until similar threats emerge at home. The interview concluded with a discussion of the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel and the intelligence failures that preceded it. Tzaban said the attack represented a profound turning point for Israel and had consequences that extended far beyond the immediate security failure, changing the way many Israelis and Jews view the country's security and the threat posed by Hamas. “The Ghosts of Rafah” draws on Tzaban's experiences to provide a firsthand account of Israel's undercover counterterrorism operations in Gaza during the 1980s and 1990s. As lifestyles evolve, so does home design. Homeowners want flexible spaces, more privacy, stronger connections to the outdoors and finishes that reflect their personal style. The result is a shift toward homes that aren’t just attractive but also work for the way people actually live. Kelley Collins, design studio manager with Ashton Woods, recently joined Carol Morgan on Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio to discuss how thoughtful design can balance function, personality and timeless style — and why the best homes don’t necessarily follow the latest trend. Home Design Starts With How People Live “We always joke that your lighting is like jewelry for your favorite outfit,” Collins said. Lighting can transform a room, highlight architectural features and draw attention to artwork or other focal points. But good design goes beyond what catches the eye. It starts with understanding how people will use a space. That has become particularly important as more people work, study, exercise and spend time at home. Rooms that once served a single purpose now may need to accommodate a home office, classroom, playroom, workout area or guest space. Flex Rooms Give Homeowners More Options Flex rooms offer a clear example of home design adapting to changing needs. A home office today could become a study space for a child tomorrow. A playroom could eventually become a hobby room, exercise area or guest room. Adaptability matters even more for multigenerational households. Rising living costs have contributed to more families living with parents or in-laws, making privacy and separation increasingly important. Doors, finished basements and multipurpose rooms can help families accommodate more people without making everyone feel like they’re living on top of each other. For homebuyers, it’s worth looking beyond how a floor plan works today. Consider how a room could serve the household five or 10 years from now. Open Floor Plans Meet the Need for Privacy Open-concept living remains popular, but the way people use their homes has prompted a closer look at privacy. An open kitchen, dining and living area can make entertaining easier and create a strong sense of connection. But when several people work, study or relax at the same time, too much openness can become a challenge. Interior doors, pocket doors and strategically placed private rooms can provide some separation without giving up the benefits of an open layout. Rather than choosing between open and closed floor plans, homeowners increasingly want a balance between shared spaces and places to retreat. Personalization Should Go Beyond Trends Personalization plays an important role in the design process, but it looks different for every homeowner. Some buyers want to customize nearly every selection. Others prefer a more restrained palette and use one or two features, such as a distinctive backsplash or lighting fixture, to make the home feel like their own. The goal is to create a cohesive design that reflects the homeowner without relying too heavily on a short-lived trend. “If they do have that bold design or that style that they want to incorporate, they really do it with intention,” Collins said. That doesn’t mean homeowners need to avoid bold choices. Instead, they should consider how those choices fit into the rest of the home and whether they’ll still feel right years from now. Timeless Design Can Still Evolve Home design trends constantly change. Cabinet colors have moved from dark finishes to gray and white and are now shifting toward warmer tones. Light and medium wood tones and off-white finishes are gaining popularity as gray and stark white interiors become less dominant. Trend cycles make timeless design valuable. Buyers want their homes to feel current, but they also want to feel comfortable with their choices years after construction ends. A neutral foundation provides flexibility, while lighting, furnishings, artwork and hardware can add personality and allow homeowners to update their spaces over time. Design for Durability and Everyday Life A beautiful home also needs to hold up to everyday life. Flooring and countertops offer good examples. Natural hardwood remains popular, while engineered luxury vinyl flooring attracts buyers who value durability. Quartz continues to appeal to homeowners who appreciate its consistency and low maintenance, even as designers continue to value the character of natural stone. Aesthetics are only part of the decision. Families with children, pets or frequent guests may prioritize different materials than homeowners looking for a low-maintenance second home or an entertainment-focused space. The Kitchen Remains the Heart of the Home For all the changes in home design, some priorities remain remarkably consistent. In the kitchen, an island can provide food preparation space, seating, a gathering point for family and friends and a place for homework or casual conversation. Other features, such as spa-inspired showers, reflect the same desire to make everyday spaces more enjoyable. Ultimately, good design isn’t just about making a room look good. It should make the room work better, too. Trust the Design Process For buyers building a new home, the number of decisions can quickly become overwhelming. Flooring, cabinets, countertops, tile, lighting and fixtures all contribute to the final result. A design professional can help homeowners understand how individual selections work together and where to focus their investment. Instead of making every decision at once, buyers can work through selections step by step and build a cohesive design. The Future of Home Design Will Follow Lifestyle No one can predict exactly which colors, materials or architectural features will dominate home design five or 10 years from now. Trends will continue to change. What we can predict is that homes will continue to adapt to the people who live in them. Flexible rooms can accommodate changing needs. Private spaces can balance open gathering areas. Outdoor living can extend a home’s usable space. Personalization can make a house feel distinctly like its owners. The most enduring design principle may be the simplest: Start with how people live and design from there. The goal is to create a home that represents the homeowner so well that “10 years down the road they still love their home.” That may ultimately separate a home that simply follows a trend from one that continues to feel right long after the trend has passed. You tell yourself you're easygoing. You don't yell, you rarely cry, you keep it together when everyone else falls apart. But what looks like calm is often something else entirely: a lifetime of suppressing anything uncomfortable, and a body quietly paying the bill for it.MJ Renshaw, author of How to Cry and founder of the Being Method, joins me to explain the real science of what suppressed emotion does to your body, and how to actually let it move through, whether that's learning to cry again, releasing anger without spilling it onto the people you love, or using your breath as a remote control for your nervous system. If you've spent years being the composed one and can feel the cost of it, this conversation will show you the way back into your own body. What You'll LearnWhat actually happens physiologically when you cry, and why suppressing it drives cortisol upHow chronically suppressed emotions show up as tension, symptoms, and even disease over timeWhy anger needs to move through the body, and specific somatic ways to release it without harming anyoneHow to teach kids that all emotions are okay while still holding clear limits on behaviorBreathwork as the built-in remote control for your nervous system, and how to weave it into ordinary momentsA note: this episode includes candid discussion of trauma, including abuse, loss, and suicide.
