Sharon and Pam expand the business and meet new people.By 2soon2no – Listen to the ► Podcast at Steamy Stories. Sharon wondered what it was like when most people woke up? Even on the fourth week of a month long vacation, they probably don't wake up after an evening of drinking, smoking, sex and love making? Even then, are they next to a willing partner, if they want a sunrise treat?"Good morning My Love, do you need me?" Pam whispered, as she inched up Sharon's smooth thigh."Maybe, if you want to try that tongue thing that the Dentist from Milwaukee showed us?" Sharon suggested, remembering back to some balding, but enthusiastic guy.Pam responded with action, She figured her wife would want some loving, and she was ready for it. They could fool themselves, and make believe that a mutual orgasm wasn't the goal, but it usually was, even at 8 bells on a Tuesday morning in the small bay of an obscure Belizean Island.Pam may have been the first to get her tongue in a warm slit, but Sharon could still count to 69, and she was very familiar with her brunette partner, and what she liked around the clit. The harder they tried to make their spouse cum first, the more intense the moans got, until everyone was gathered at the Captain's hatch.Someone peeled the hatch open, and the six people started cheering on their favorite stripper-sailor, as they headed for sexual fruition. The sudden envelopment of light and sound, did little to quell the lust of the two beauties, as they enjoyed the exhibitionist side of their sexuality.Pam reached over, and grabbed a short and fat dildo and plopped it into Sharon's exposed love box.Sharon realized that Pam was playing dirty, so she got her mouth onto her pussy, and thrust two fingers into it, to find her g-spot before..."Oh!" Sharon shouted, as Pam started to pop the bulbous head of the short dildo, in and out, in and out, popping it for a well known effect.Pam would be the winner of this display, but everyone was happy to have shared it.It was the Pearl's turn to make breakfast, since no one wanted to be first up, in paradise. Two of the crew were from Detroit, one a nurse and the other a doctor. Pam was curious about a doctor wanting a free vacation so bad that she took a chance on their sexy Charter cruises, but this was the second time out for Phyllis, a 32 year old general practitioner and her cousin Gene, a 29 year old trauma nurse at the same hospital."I like sex, without attachments," Dr. Phyllis explained, "just like the Doctors and Lawyers that pay $5000 plus tip to sail on the same charter! Oh, and I know how much the tips are, cause I donated mine from my first trip to the Children's Hospital that we work at. I get to spend a week in the tropics with 4 men that are there more for the sex than the sun! This charter company makes me feel so lucky to have tits!" she declared. It was their morning to make breakfast, but their bunk-mates helped, as they set up the pancakes and bacon. They like to emphasize healthy eating on these cruises, but nothing says luxury quite like bacon, and the smell of coffee got people interested enough to smell the bacon and come forth, into the morning chill of 75 degrees."Shylo is coming out tomorrow!" Marny announced at breakfast. "She texted me this morning and I told her which one of my cousins would be able to get her out here the fastest.""There is always room for Shylo," Pam suggested, "Is she alone?""Yes, she was visiting Major Rodriguez in Panama, and she was heading home, but she had a proposition for 'Seafaring Delight Charters' and she wanted to share it with us in person, so I said come on over, of course." Marny really liked their sailing sex doctor. Shylo kept reminding them that she wasn't a 'Doctor' yet, but she certainly intended to get her Doctorate of Psychology, and she was still in school, so she was considered the brainiac of strippers at the Gingerbread House."She spends a lot of money on travel, but our Money Manager Carol says that she has 'family' money, so who knows," Sharon explained to Marny."She left me sore the last time she came through here," Marny pondered, "I had never been with a woman before you three ladies sailed into my life!""Well, you are a natural multi-sexual woman Marny, way ahead of your time," Pam teased. The Pearl's dinghy was heading for the other side of the island to catch some of the surf, and half a dozen adventurers were towing surf boards and paddle boards. The other dinghy was taking people to shore for exploration and private fun, while Marny stayed back at the sailboats.Pam wanted to explore the coast a bit closer, so Chad offered to go with her in a two person kayak. All they took with them was a jug of water, a tube of sunscreen, and their life jackets. They got their strokes synchronized quickly, and they paddled the opposite direction as the surfing party, so they were quickly on their own."Marny said that you and Sharon are Strippers in Hoboken, is that true?...I mean, you two are so hot that I wouldn't be surprised...""It is true Chad, do you go to strip clubs very often?" Pam asked."Our little town only has a topless bar, and it's not very nice," Chad responded, but I'm not too far outside of St. Louis, so we get to see the ladies there every now and then.""Are you a small town lawyer, Chad?" Pam questioned him."There are five lawyers in our town, but two are my sisters, so it's a small town and a family firm," Chad confessed with a shake of his head."Let's pull in over there Chad, I'd rather face you while we're getting to know each other," Pam suggested. They made sure that the kayak and paddles were secure before Pam grabbed the water bottle and started exploring. The small path was probably only used five times a year, so it wasn't easy to find their way, gradually upwards and away from the bay. A clearing was a natural spot to stop and survey the area. Pam realized that Chad just couldn't take his eyes off of her chest. He was in his mid thirties, and quite fit himself, but he obviously didn't have much experience with women, so Pam took pity on him."Do you have many opportunities for sex in that small town Chad," Pam took his hand gently, and pulled him to her."Oh, I'm so sorry Pam, I may have touched your breast..." but Pam had dropped to her knees, and took Chad's shorts with her. His cock had already started to stir, as Pam slipped it into her mouth."Oh, things are quite different in Strong Willow," Chad corrected his bold escort, while showing his backbone by not shying back while Pam double handed his testicles and licked the length of his 6 inches."Slow down Missy, if you don't mind I'd rather look into your eyes for our first time together."Pam realized that she was working this guy like a hooker works a John, so she stood, with Chad's help and let him take her into his arms.He did not hesitate to go in for a deep kiss, even though her tongue had run the length of his shaft just a moment ago. He lowered Pam to the grass and lay with her, enjoying the feel of her firm breast, he leaned in and kissed her some more, moving his tongue into her mouth, while exploring her nipple with his right hand. Pam let him take the lead, restricting her actions to tongue swirls and moans."These nipples are just the perfect size, and the way they upturn, hmm a guy could just look at them all afternoon!" Chad announced. He reached out and pinched a nib, making her jump. She pinched him, in retaliation and they rolled in each other's arms, finishing with Pam on top. She reached back and took his cock in her hand and fit it into her pussy, finding that it fit like Cinderellas foot in the wayward slipper. They pushed into each other, and Pam ground her labia into his pelvis, feeling the pressure of his cock on her cervix. They quickly found a comfortable pace that got faster as their passion increased. Chad's fingers explored Pam's breasts, like he was a blind man, though his eyes drank in the beauty like no blind eye could. Pam ran her hands over Chad's muscular chest and biceps. If Chad was a lawyer, he must be spending time in the gym, Pam realized as she did most of the work, lifting up and down on her latest fuck toy. They enjoyed a quick love wrestle, then resumed their exploration of the little island.Back at the Pearl, Marny had been warned of a heavier squall coming their way, and she shouted to the shore party to get their gear aboard. For once their com's worked, and Phyllis got the message to return immediately from their surfing, so Pam and Chad were the only ones to worry about.Marny did three blasts on the boat's air horn, then sent the second dinghy around the Western side of the Island where they found them, stroking home from their sexcapade. There was nowhere to run to. They had to separate their vessels, put out more chain, and set the anchor alarm to warn against dragging, while the wind picked up speed. Everyone secured the deck chairs and brought the towels in from the lines. Marny kept a tidy ship, so the sails and lines were already secure, but Pam and Marny double checked everything on their vessels.Just before the wind hit, Marny's cousin came speeding in, in an old Chris Craft with triple 300's on the transom. They pulled into the Pearl, knowing that Marny would be there. They only took two minutes to transport the athletic blond and her luggage. She certainly brought more than a few bikinis, but maybe she was hiding a midget? The taxi boat took off and sped away, expecting to outrun the approaching storm."Hi Ladies," Shylo spoke loudly into the microphone, not knowing how well the mic picked up her voice. "Can you hear us?""Yes, Shylo, we saw you come in, over," Sharon responded with no idea of proper radio protocols. "Should we come over, over," Sharon giggled."Let's wait for after breakfast," Shylo suggested, "I'm thinking I want to explore Belize tonight ladies, if you know what I mean.""I am with John Farris tonight Shylo, but maybe he won't mind the company," Marny responded without pressing the mic button.Mr. Farris was a fast learner, and certainly not a homophobe, which is a good thing, cause Marny was hungry for the soft touch of this white skinned sexpot. John was in fair shape, and only 37, but he couldn't keep up with his two lovers. He was sexually spent on the second round, but stayed awake for the finale.Shylo pulsed her vagina lips against Marny's larger and swollen labia in a scissor action. The moonlight came through the porthole and reflected off of Shylo's sweaty globes. The wind covered the sound of their grunts and moans and sighs, but they were still loud enough to make this a vivid memory for John. The ships spent the rest of the night separated by a steady wind of 40 knots. Sharon and Pam enjoyed a 'Carl the Accountant sandwich', then fell asleep with the three of them entwined. The morning brought a fresh paradise to the Caribbean, as it always did. The birds woke up the early risers soon after daybreak, but soon the heat brought everyone out of their cabins. Thoughts turned to water sports, or at least water fun.Breakfast was on the Opal, and Pam had Phyllis, Paul and Cory helping her with the omelets, one with meat and the other without. The men set up fruit and cereals for variety. Shylo gathered Pam, Sharon and Marny around the breakfast table.Shylo waited until only the four of them were left in the lounge of the Opal."As you all know, my field of study is 'Sexual Psychology'. It is my ambition to help people with their sexual problems, and it is my good fortune to have a big inheritance to help me get started," Shylo began. "So I shifted a lot of my Family Trust into a Non-Profit called Mindxes.""One important function of my new Foundation is to help people become Sexual Therapists, through an accrediting program that would take most college graduates only 6 courses to become certified. Even with no college, it only takes 10 courses and all of these classes are offered on the internet," she continued."My Organization will pay the tuition and all medical exams and certification fees for anyone in your employment that takes the courses. Your Nurses and Teachers will get an added qualification to put on their resume, and if they submit a diary from their cruises, to help us with our studies, we will stipulate that they have worked for our organization as Therapists.""This Foundation will also be paying for American Soldiers to seek such therapy on your charters, and we will expect a great price. The added advantage for your business, is the legitimacy it will offer, when your enemies notice that you are having wild fuck parties down here, and they accuse you of running a floating brothel." Shylo looked anxiously around the lounge, ready for the questions that were sure to follow."Java and I have talked about how this business could hurt her politically, but she loves what we do, so she is willing to take the risk," Marny replied."If you register your business as a Health Spa," Shylo continued, "...you would be monitored by the Ministry of Health. Here it would be Dr. Shantra Mistopa, and she is a good friend of Java!""We heard that you are looking for real estate," Pam prompted, hopeful for a better explanation."Yes, I want a small island to build a retreat, but that will be a few years in the making," Shylo explained, "Assuming that I can add the Doctor title to my name, I intend on opening a second Corporation, for profit, which would service the wealthy, and the filthy rich! Then I will want to employ lots of Sexual Therapists, and the pay will be just as nice as the paradise that they would work in.""We will have to talk to Java, but it sounds good to me," Pam proposed."I have no doubt that the young ones can do this," Marny said, "but I doubt that I could handle it.""You will have Java to help you, and you didn't mention that she was top of her class in Tourism! Doctor Shantra says that she could do whatever she puts her mind to," Shylo noted."Oh, I spent many summers on the shrimp boats with Shantra, when she was still a student, so she will help me herself!" Marny responded confidently, and it was as if the whole thing was decided."If you agree with my proposal, I think it would be smart for me to invest in your business personally, and sit on your board of directors," Shylo suggested. "I will email the link for you and your staff to look at the course outline, it includes two classes in safe sexual clinical contact, that could keep sexually transmitted infections from hurting you. I can not emphasize enough the importance of those two courses for you personally, and the Business as a whole.""We should all get full medical checkups as a start, including blood work," Pam suggested."That would be good, but keep in mind that the Certification Course requires certain blood tests and a physical exam in order to be accredited, so if you're taking the online classes, you should check there first."Shylo looked about the lounge and realized that everyone was out having fun. "Hey, let's go have a swim!" she cried, and scurried to the top deck.Marny beat the other two, scrambling after the blonde bombshell like she was 30 again.Sharon looked over at Pam. "I think Marny's in love!" she squealed, obviously happy with the idea.Pam decided to take care of lunch, and let Marny entertain their friend from Hoboken. It took two trips to bring the food and preparation equipment to shore, but by then Pam had corralled Gene and Cory to help her. They gathered driftwood for a fire and made two more trips to the sailboats, to get the tarp for shade and a cooler full of iced beverages. The paddle boards and kayaks started to come ashore as their passengers grew hungry and thirsty. Hydration is very important when heat and sex are involved!Sharon ate with Pam, though Paul was glued to her hip."I am going to have to talk to you, after lunch Paul," Pam casually claimed."That is my wife that you are mooning over, you know?"Paul looked confused, so Pam continued, rather than waiting."When I say talk, I mean fuck, Paul. She says you are a lot of fun," Pam finished with a wide smile.

4THE PETERS FAMILY seemed, to me, quite rich, rich in all the ways that I would have considered a family rich at that time. They owned a whole island, after all. They had a maid, about whom I will have more to say later. They owned three boats: a working boat, a barge really, that they used for carrying freight from the mainland, and, in The Missing Garage, used to transport an entire Esso gas station; a sailboat, a lean blue sloop that Larry was permitted to sail by himself and on which Larry's sister enjoyed sunning herself; and a speedboat, a mahogany Chris Craft speedboat with a twelve-cylinder engine. On the mainland, they owned a small piece of waterfront property in the town of Murky Bay, where they had a dock, a boathouse for the speedboat, and a garage in which they kept a Jaguar Saloon and a war-surplus Jeep. Everything that the Peterses did was of an order different from anything my family or the families of any of my friends did. My father might spend most of a Saturday changing the oil and filter in our aging Commander, trying to devise a scheme to make my mother's washing machine stop walking across the cellar floor, or painting the garage, but Mr. Peters was likely to spend a Saturday tied up in the hold of a sinking ship, rappelling down a rock face in pursuit of some bric-a-brac smugglers, or conducting delicate negotiations for the purchase of some fine amber in Lübeck. And the meals! Every time the Peters family sat down to a meal, it seemed to be the kind of meal that I associated with festivals and celebrations and funerals. If they were having breakfast, they drifted into the dining room one by one, and each filled a plate from a sideboard laden with oatmeal, pancakes, bacon, sausages (sometimes two kinds), coffee, cocoa, milk, juices, sticky buns, crumb cake, crullers, bran muffins, bagels, kaiser rolls, English muffins, toasted rye bread, toasted raisin bread, jelly doughnuts, white mountain rolls, corn muffins, salt sticks, bialys, and fruit. Marie, the maid, would fix eggs any way anyone wanted them. At home, my father usually started the day with white toast, coffee, and a couple of cigarettes. My mother rarely had more than coffee. I usually had a bowl of graham crackers soaked in milk, sometimes a cup of cocoa and toast. Dinner at the Peterses' was always a big deal: baked ham, turkey, a roast beef, bowls of potatoes and vegetables, everyone talking away and eating like mad. Of course, they had to eat a lot when they could, because most of the meals at the Peters house were never finished. No sooner would they get their plates heaped with food and eat a few healthy bites than someone would begin shooting at the house from a low-flying plane, an explosion on the mainland would rattle the windows, or Marie would announce the arrival of a mysterious stranger. Dinners were sometimes interrupted in my family, too, but the interruptions seemed to me, at the time, less likely to lead to anything interesting: the heating pipes would begin making metallic knocking sounds, but upon investigation we would find no dark-eyed waif tied up in the cellar, banging on the pipes to rouse some help, only air in the radiators; we'd be startled by a knock at the back door, but it was never a mysterious stranger, only the Mr. Doughboy delivery man, running late on his route; a flash of light would fill the room, and a moment later an explosive crash would rattle the windows, but it would only be a summer thunderstorm, and in those days I didn't find a summer storm as exciting as an exploding gimcrack factory.Have you missed an episode or two or several? You can begin reading at the beginning or you can catch up by visiting the archive or consulting the index to the Topical Guide. You can listen to the episodes on the Personal History podcast. Think about your typical vehicle buying experience, whether it be car or boat. You research online, head to the showroom either eager to interact with a salesperson armed with all of your knowledge or dreading the back and forth, let me ask my manager negotiation. Some showrooms may stand out to you – well decorated, nice waiting room, great coffee, for me – an area to wait with kids toys. But the experience can often be….unremarkable. And when it comes to boats, something you are buying for the fun of it, the experience should be remarkable! Boats by George, located on our home lake in upstate NY, Lake George, is turning this typical shopping experience on its head and innovating the whole boat buying process. Boats By George is celebrating its 40th anniversary and represents esteemed brands like Cobalt, which they are a top 10 global dealer for, Chris Craft, Malibu, Axis, and Barletta Pontoons. With the recent purchase of a 50,000 square foot former event space, Boats By George is creating an immersive and interactive boat buying destination. I spoke to Adam Pensel, General Manager of Boats By George, about how this concept will redefine the showroom experience, bring new potential boaters into the mix, become part of the community, and bring back the joy in vehicle shopping. Adam worked his way up through the family business as a dockhand, delivery captain, salesperson and marketing lead prior to taking the GM role. We also spoke about his early days boating with his family then on his own by age 10, technology and connectivity trends in boating, the importance of safety and conservation, and much more. Fun fact, Adam's grandfather owned the marina we currently own and operate. When we were renovating, we found his original deed, and saw the mortgage payment. That has gone up just a bit in the past 60 or so years… enjoy!

Coca-Cola C2 (also referred to as Coke C2, C2 Cola, or simply C2) was a cola-flavored beverage introduced by The Coca-Cola Company first in Japan, then later on June 7, 2004 in the United States (and shortly thereafter, Canada), in response to the low-carbohydrate diet trend. This Coke product was marketed as having half the carbohydrates, sugars and calories compared to standard Coca-Cola. It contains aspartame, acesulfame potassium, and sucralose in addition to the high fructose corn syrup typically found in cola beverages distributed in America. Aside from the high fructose corn syrup, one 12-ounce can of Coca-Cola C2 contains 19 mg of aspartame, 4 mg of sucralose and 19 mg of acesulfame potassium. The packaging design differs from other Coke products in that the logos are printed in black. For marketing on radio and television, and movie theaters the Queen song "I Want to Break Free" was used. When it was first introduced, though, The Rolling Stones song "You Can't Always Get What You Want" was used. American sales did not live up to early expectations mainly due to customer disinterest in a mid-calorie soda, and partly due to the success of Coca-Cola Zero, a zero-calorie version of Coca-Cola; however, Coca-Cola said the brand would remain in its lineup, even while Pepsi discontinued its equivalent product, Pepsi Edge, in late 2005, just one year after its introduction. Many store shelves completely replaced the product with Coca-Cola Zero due to display, shelving and storage limitations, and with the introduction of Coca-Cola Cherry Zero, the product disappeared from all store shelves where it had previously remained, and in 2013, it was replaced by Coca-Cola Life, which was marketed for using Stevia as opposed to artificial sweeteners. The United Paramount Network (UPN) was an American broadcast television network that launched on January 16, 1995. The network was originally owned by Chris-Craft Industries' United Television; Viacom (through its Paramount Television unit, which produced most of the network's series) turned the network into a joint venture in 1996 after acquiring a 50% stake in the network, and subsequently purchased Chris-Craft's remaining stake in 2000. In December 2005, UPN was spun off to CBS Corporation when Viacom split into two separate companies. CBS Corporation and Time Warner jointly announced on January 24, 2006 that the companies would shut down UPN and competitor The WB to launch a new joint venture network later that year. UPN ceased broadcasting on September 15, 2006, with The WB following suit two days later. Select programs from both networks moved to the new network, The CW, when it launched on September 18, 2006. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/dwight-allen/message

Real Estate Uncensored - Real Estate Sales & Marketing Training Podcast
The online space is saturated with content, so to stand out, we have to ensure that we can easily be found on a range of platforms. How can we create effective content for different platforms? How can we link our audience to our content across these platforms, and which online spaces should we be using as search engines in their own right? On this episode, founder of Nao Media, Chris Craft, shares how to be ‘Googleable’. Takeaways + Tactics Create pieces of core content consistently, then repurpose by slicing and dicing smaller pieces for other platforms. Don't put links to your core content when you repurpose it for other platforms. Put any links in the comments. People don't use Facebook and LinkedIn search engines, so don't waste time on things like hashtags for those platforms
Alexander Watson is an entrepreneur, adventurer, and lately, an author. With his wedded partner Dale Harris, Alexander rescued his family business, a furniture studio, built a portfolio of rental properties, and then sold it all to restore a vintage motor yacht and travel ‘The Rivah’. Watson’s book, River Queens – Saucy Boat, Stout Mates, Spotted Dog, America tells of their escape from the urban jungle and passage through the nation’s midsection. It is full of stories from the finding of the boat, to the characters they met along the way, to the challenges presented on the river. Their boat, Betty Jane, A forty-five-foot wooden motor yacht built in the height of the Korean War is hardly an extravagance; it is an obscenity. Promoted as part of Chris Craft’s "Freedom Fleet" for 1955, it had all the conveniences of a well-appointed home at twice the cost. She had fitted carpets, polished mahogany paneling, an en-suite for the owners, and quarters for the crew. The journey starts with an over-the-road transport from Lake Texoma, the impounded Red River on the Texas/Oklahoma border, to Applegate Cove Marina on the Arkansas River, one hundred miles south of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The journey ends at Cincinnati, Ohio on Labor Day Weekend 2009. Alexander is primarily the deckhand. He is better able to shinny down docks and throw lines. He swabs the decks and shines the brass. He is also the painter, plumber, and carpenter. His upbringing in the world of fine furniture and interior design gives him intrinsic understanding of fine joinery and finishing. We discuss how Alexander got into boating, and specifically how he and Dale decided to take this journey. The book is full of colorful characters and vivid experiences from their time on the river and though you will get a sense of it from our conversation, we very specifically left a lot of the book in the book so that you can pick it up and give it a read. Enjoy!

Dan DeGeorge is VP of Sales for Dockwa. Founded in May 2015 and since Featured in Forbes, the NY Times, Boating Magazine, the Boston Globe, and more, Dockwa is changing the way boaters and marinas connect and reserve dock space. It allows boaters to search, reserve, and pay for transient dockage from their mobile device. It also allows marinas to manage their inventory online and connect with thousands of customers like never before. At the time of our recording Dockwa featured over 400 marinas and though boater numbers are not disclosed it was in the six figures. That is a lot of boaters connecting to marinas! Just prior to our conversation, Dockwa acquired Marinas.com, the world’s most extensive online marine directory of more than 75,000 marine locations, including 15,000 marinas, yacht clubs, and shipyards. Marinas.com was the first online resource of its kind for the marine industry, pioneering a comprehensive guide for boaters worldwide and amassing more than 100,000 users. With this acquisition, Dockwa has grown its marina partner network to more than 500 businesses and further expands its international footprint to Central and South America, and parts of Europe. Dockwa’s marina network and boater community tripled in size in 2016, resulting in a 1,766 percent increase in nights served. Dan himself is an avid boater and grew up boating on our home lake, Lake George. Starting with some rental boats and now boating on his family Sea Ray, Dan never lost his love of the water while getting his Economics degree at Princeton, embarking on a professional baseball career with the Cleveland Indians, and finally joining the marine/technology industry, helping Dockwa go to market in 2015. On getting into boating…..I grew up going to the lake every summer. My first time ever out on the water was on Lake George. We rented a Hurricane boat from Snug Harbor. For the majority of my childhood we rented and then we bought a Sea Ray that we can go skiing and wake-boarding on. On learning to boat…..My dad was always one of those guys who threw you into the fire. As far as I can remember it went well! We went to a place where no one was around and by the time we got our boat I was ready to go. The most important thing he taught me was check the weather early and often before you go out. On the Dockwa launch…..I was there pre-launch to market. It was the brainchild of our CEO, Mike Melillo. Mike had moved to Newport, RI out of college. He happened to live on top of a few marinas. One summer day he was watching one of the dockmasters take reservations, and it was a particularly crazy day. He was watching the dockmaster run around back and forth between docks and writing reservations in a notebook and walked up and asked the dockmaster about how he takes reservations. The dockmaster said it’s the way we’ve always done it, it’s an old school industry, and that set the idea off in Mike’s head. On fostering change in the marina business…..It’s our biggest challenge but also presents the biggest opportunity. There’s a lot of room for us to help these marinas and operators get more efficient and create a better experience for the boater. On response from the boating market…..We work with a little over 400 marinas. Boaters love it because they’re used to it in other industries. They can go online or on their phone and make a hotel reservation or an airline reservation, so it only makes sense that you should be able to do it for marinas and for boating. On the marina side you’re always running up against the challenge of people who have done something the same way for the past 30 years and there’s always that little resistance to change but once they see it working for other marinas and then use it themselves, it’s been well received. On the Marinas.com acquisition…..On the boater side we want Marinas.com to be the place you go to for all things boating. Whether that’s long term dockage, short term dockage, repair work, buying a boat, we want it to be the place boaters go to find anything they need. Within that, marinas can gain more exposure to their customers. On expansion and new locations…..We’re down in the Caribbean, the Bahamas, and we just signed up a marina in the Dominican Republic. Ideally we’ll expand internationally. A big opportunity is the Great Lakes. We have a good number of marinas in the Great Lakes and a big help for has been that the Chicago Harbor municipal marinas use Dockwa. The Puget Sound is a big hot spot, that’s our next target domestically. Internationally is a little farther down the product road map. I’d love to get out to Italy. On where he would like to do some personal boating…..I would love to go to the BVIs and hop around to the islands. I have a college roommate who grew up around the Puget Sound and speaks real highly of it so that’s on my vacation list. On the Dockwa Figawi sponsorship…..This will be our third year. We officially launched at Figawi two years ago. I had never heard of it until I moved to Newport. The first week I joined the company we went and it’s a blast. It’s great for boaters and non-boaters, a great experience. On the Dockwa Dock Free giveaway…..We were fortunate to team with BoatUS on that. It was an awesome promotion. Not only for BoatUS and for us but I think the winner has already made a few reservations to take advantage of the winnings. On technology taking hold in the boating industry…..I feel like we’re getting closer to the tipping point, especially as the younger generation who is more used to technology starts to get more into boating. With Boatbound and GetMyBoat, the younger generations really value the experience and embrace the sharing economy so that will become more prevalent and force the marine industry to embrace technology. On his dream boat(s)…..It was always a wooden Chris-Craft growing up on the lake. It looks so cool and smooth. Coming up to Newport, you see a lot of the newer center consoles like the Regulators, or Viking sport fishers, so I’ve gotten more into those recently when I moved up here. Hope you enjoyed the conversation with Dan and check out the Dockwa app. Editors note: Having done both a sailing trip through the BVIs and raced in Figawi weekend, the Dockwa guys sound like they know how to enjoy their work!

The Marketing Genius Podcast: Real Estate Marketing | Digital Strategy | Technology | Leadership
In the world of digital marketing, content providers have something of a mixed reputation. On the one hand, real estate agents are struggling to find the time and the know-how to create great content that attracts prospects online. On the other hand, content providers are often dismissed as little more than “content mills,” promising front-page placement while churning out low-quality blog posts and articles. But Chris Craft begs to differ. As founder of Atlanta-based Nao Media, Chris has built a successful and ethical company that delivers high-quality, search-optimized content to real estate agents and other small businesses owners. In this interview, Chris takes us inside Nao Media's content creation process, and offers some valuable strategies to help real estate professionals get more mileage out of their marketing.

So in this latest episode, we discuss S1E1′s “The Skill to Catch a Killer,” which, as we mention, aired on 04/19/90, was directed by David Lynch, and worsen by Lynch and Mark Frost. It was watched by 19.2 million ABC viewers, down 4 million from the previous episode, so the show was continuing to lose viewers not ready for what it was offering. Although we mention having done our research this time, we didn't note that Jerry Horne is played by character actor David Patrick Kelly, a steadily working actor since the late ‘70s who nonetheless is hard to recognize if you're looking for someone who looks like spiky-haired Jerry. Kelly has appeared in a number of popular or cult classic series and films including The Warriors, Tales from the Darkside, Commando, Moonlighting, Miami Vice, on up to Bored to Death, The Blacklist, John Wick, and Spike Lee's just-completed Chi-Raq. He also acted in Lynch's Wild at Heart. We might as well mention brother Ben, too, played by Richard Beymer, a North Hollywood High graduate who acted extensively in TV in the ‘50s until getting into films with The Diary of Anne Frank, playing Anne's pencil (sorry, just seeing if you're paying attention), and then one of his most well-known roles, Tony in West Side Story (also with future Peaks castmate Russ Tamblyn). Unlike his libidinous Ben Horne, the ‘60s films, Bachelor Flat and Five Finger Exercise, are apparently not very dirty. Screen work was sporadic in the late ‘60s through early ‘80s (perhaps more theatre?), but Moonlighting, Paper Dolls and Dallas got him back into the swing of things, leading to Twin Peaks, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and a surprising number of episodes of Murder, She Wrote, playing different characters (he has that look of a murdering weasel who's going to be found out by a doddering old novelist, right?). Scott erroneously calls The Great Northern “The North Woods Inn.” It just happens once. Chris-Craft is indeed famous for its mahogany-hulled motorboats. The model in this episode is considered a classic and was popular from the ‘40s into the ‘60s, i.e. the era most influential on David Lynch. Despite at least one bankruptcy and many changes in ownership, the company is still going. And how about that Nadine Hurley, the one-eyed, super-strong, quiet-drape-runner-obsessed wife of Big Ed? She is played by Wendy Robie, who has acted largely in television and often as someone at least quirky, often mentally disturbed. Aside from Twin Peaks, she may be best known for The People Under the Stairs, a decent Wes Craven film, or Vampire in Brooklyn, a not-decent Wes Craven film. She is also apparently in the 2000 Baz Luhrmann film, Romeo + Juliet. “You'd be looking for your teeth on Queer Street” - we speculate on this, but Wikipedia indicates it's an old expression referring to someone ending up in trouble, often in the financial sense. It is associated with Clarey Street in London, where the bankruptcy courts were located. Chris isn't sure if Grace Zabriskie, who plays Sarah Palmer, is still alive. She is, and was excellent in the most recent season of Showtime's Ray Donovan as Miss Minassian, matriarch of an Armenian crime family. More on her in a later post. Scott believes the One Armed Man's dialogue in this episode holds the key to the mysteries of this series. We'll see! Welcome to Twin Peaks has the text of Mike's speech, all the Log Lady intros, and plenty of theorizing. The One Armed Man, Mike, is played by Al Strobel, who has a few other credits besides this and TP:FWWM. His role was expanded because of his impressive performance as Mike. The Man from Another Place is portrayed by Michael J. Anderson, who used a phonetically reversed speaking style he and his friends developed in school, so it was not a Lynch or Frost idea. He has also been seen in the HBO series, Carnivale, as well as Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me and (as a normal-sized man with the use of a prosthetic body) in Mulholland Dr. “That Gum You Like Is Back in Style” is a track from Northern California rock band Camper Van Beethoven's 2002 concept album, New Roman Times. Cowritten by David Lowery and Johnny Hickman, who are also in the band, Cracker, it should probably have been a Cracker song, but Lowery felt it fit CVB better, and though it predated the New Roman Times concept, it fit in fine. By Lowery's admission, the lyrics aren't particularly meaningful and are just intended to create a weird, Lynchian mood. Thanks for listening.
