The Daily Boost | Coaching You Need. Success You Deserve.

Trying to separate your work from your life? That might be the problem. For business owners and ambitious professionals, the old model of balance doesn't work anymore. The math doesn't lie, and neither does your exhaustion from trying to split yourself in two. What if you could focus on what matters most and let everything else fall into place? I'm sharing the mathematical formula that proves you don't need more hours in the day. You need better focus on the right hours. The 64-4 rule will change how you think about your time forever. Featured Story I walked into the gym this morning and nearly turned around. For three weeks over the holidays, it was me and maybe three other people. Peaceful. Easy. Today? Looked like 3,000 people showed up. The New Year's crowd is back. But instead of getting annoyed, I realized something. This is exactly what happens when people try to force balance into their lives. They show up hard for three weeks, burn out, and disappear. They're trying to separate their fitness from their life instead of making it part of how they live. That's when it hit me. The same thing happens with work and life balance. We're asking the wrong question. Important Points If you're a business owner, there is no separation between life and business. That's not a problem. That's freedom. The 80-20 rule proves that 80% of your results come from just 20% of your actions. Now do the math on that again. When you focus just 4-20% of your day on what matters most to you, the other 64-80% takes care of itself. Math. Memorable Quotes "Life is business. Business is life. That's called freedom, and it's exactly what you signed up for when you started." "If you could do more of what you love to do, life would be better. If you did more of what you hate, it wouldn't." "Eighty percent of your day is dictated by the smallest part of your focus. Use that to your advantage, not against it." Scott's Three-Step Approach Identify your passion zones. List the things you actually want to do more of. Money, relationships, fitness, whatever. Focus just 4-20% of your day on those passion zones. That's the smallest investment for the biggest return possible. Let the rest of your day take care of itself. When you nail the important stuff, everything else falls into place. “Chasing greatness is grieving the person you once were.” Tyriq Withers Ryan, Channing and Fred chop it up with Tyriq Withers, a rising actor making his mark in Hollywood, for an honest conversation about perseverance, processing grief, risk taking and how his journey is proof that purpose doesn't always follow a straight line and what's meant to be will always be. The conversation starts off with a fun story of Tyriq, a Jacksonville native, sharing how his childhood idol was a FAMILIAR guest speaker he had as a kid in elementary school... one guess? And you already know Chan and RC had a field day with the age jokes of Freddy T being that guy 20+ years ago! A die-hard Jaguars fan excited for the playoffs, he also opens up on the special meaning behind wearing a custom made "144" Shedeur Sanders jersey and how the bible verse he had imprinted on the sleeve changed his thought process. Yes, his love of sports starts long ago and before stepping in front of the camera, Tyriq's first love was football as he walked on to Florida State where he was part of the Seminole team (along with Dalvin Cook and Derwin James) that won an Orange Bowl in 2016. Ball was his life and taught him discipline, resilience, and what it takes to perform under pressure. That foundation helped fuel his transition into acting, where he's now making waves starring in the upcoming film Him, along with roles in other notable projects. Tyriq breaks down his journey into acting, the sacrifices it took to chase his passion, and the mental resilience required to survive an industry built on rejection and uncertainty. From navigating auditions and staying grounded to defining success on his own terms, he shares what it really means to pivot when the path isn't guaranteed. He talks about what it was like working with Donald Glover, shares who is on-screen inspiration is and the full circle experience of learning from Marlon Wayans, who he admired growing up and then became a big brother to him during the filming of Him. But Marlon wasn't just an on-screen mentor, he also helped Tyriq navigate life during one of the darkest and difficult times after he lost his older brother unexpectedly and was met with a new wave of grief and responsibility he didn't know existed. Emotional and honest, Tyriq shares how he dealt with it while still being able to pursue his dreams and balance the success with managing deep pain. Pivoting from sports to Hollywood to betting on himself in an industry built on rejection, this episode takes a deep dive on staying grounded while navigating new levels of visibility and expectation. From embracing discomfort to redefining success beyond the scoreboard, this conversation goes deeper than credits and highlights. It's a powerful discussion about identity, faith, work ethic, and trusting the process — on and off the field. Everyone keeps telling you to “follow your passion” and the money will magically show up.That advice is bullshit. In this episode of the Bedros Keuilian Show, I break down one of the biggest lies sold to people in their 20s: that passion and career are supposed to be the same thing. They're not.Chasing passion is why so many people bounce from opportunity to opportunity, never build mastery, and end up broke, frustrated, and average. Here's the truth: every path involves pain. The pain of doing the work. Or the pain of being broke. If you only do things when you “feel passionate,” you'll never stick around long enough to become a specialist, an expert, an authority, or a leader people actually pay attention to. Real money lives at the top and getting there takes years of discipline, consistency, and doing work you don't always enjoy. If you're tired of being broke, tired of starting over, and tired of lying to yourself about why you keep quitting this episode is your wake-up call.Choose the pain of hard work… or accept the pain of being broke.DOMINATION DOWNLOADSTRAIGHT FROM THE DESK OF BEDROS KEUILIANYour weekly no B.S. newsletter to help you dominate in business and in lifehttps://bedroskeuilian.com/MAN UP SCALE BUNDLE: $29 (100% Goes to Charity)Get your Digital Man Up book + Audiobook + 2 Exclusive MASTERCLASSES & Support Shriners Children's Hospital. https://www.manuptribe.com/limited-offerREGISTER FOR THE LEGACY TRIBEGet the Life, Money, Meaning & Impact You Deservehttps://bedroskeuilian.com/legacytribeJOIN MY FREE 6-WEEK CHALLENGE:Transform into a Purpose-Driven Manhttps://bedroskeuilian.com/challengeTHE SQUIRE PROGRAM: A rite of Passage for Your Son as He Becomes a ManA Father and Son Experience That Will Be Remembered FOREVERhttps://squireprogram.com/registerTruLean Supplements | https://www.trulean.com/pages/bedrosGet 50% Off Trulean Subscribe & Save BundleUse Code: BEDROS Few Will Hunt Apparel | https://fewwillhunt.com/Get 20% Off Your Entire OrderUse Code: BEDROSOPEN A FIT BODY LOCATIONA High-Profit, Scalable Gym Franchise Opportunity Driven By Impacthttps://sales.fbbcfranchise.com/get-started?utm_source=bedrosPODCAST EPISODES:https://bedroskeuilian.com/podcast/STAY CONNECTED:Website | https://bedroskeuilian.com/Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/bedroskeuilian/LinkedIn | https://www.linkedin.com/in/bedroskeuilianTwitter | https://twitter.com/bedroskeuilian

If you've ever dreamed of launching a physical product—turning an idea into something tangible—you've probably noticed how overwhelming the process can feel. Manufacturing, sourcing, quality control, logistics, global suppliers…every step has layers most founders never see until they're already in trouble. In a world where disruptions happen daily and the global economy shifts without warning, the founders who succeed aren't just innovative—they're prepared. Today's guest, Kerim Kfuri, brings more than two decades of global supply chain expertise spanning technology, retail, spirits, sports equipment, and beyond. As Founder & CEO of The Atlas Network, he and his team help companies navigate the often-chaotic process of bringing products to market—handling everything from factory selection to QC, logistics, and end-to-end production. Kerim is also the author of Supply Chain Ups and Downs, creator of The Supply & Demand Show, and the first U.S.-based verified supplier and ambassador for Alibaba—giving him a uniquely global, modern perspective on how products really get made. In this episode, Kerim breaks down the mindset, knowledge, and strategies every founder needs before they ever produce a thing. The Hidden Challenges New Founders Overlook Kerim's path into supply chain didn't start in manufacturing—it began with years spent in finance, regulation, consulting, and entrepreneurship. But everything changed the first time he stepped into a factory in China and saw ideas becoming reality on the production line. From that point forward, one truth has shaped his entire philosophy: Most founders fail not because the idea is bad, but because they don't know what they don't know. The wrong supplier. No quality control. Assuming timelines will hold. Not understanding cultural expectations. Failing to anticipate disruptions. Kerim explains how founders can dramatically reduce risk by choosing vetted suppliers, putting "eyes and ears" on the ground, and building processes that protect them from expensive mistakes. Even seasoned brands struggle when entering new categories—so first-time founders need even more support. Successful product creation starts with education, clarity, and the right partners. AI, Disruption, and the Future of Product Development Global supply chain challenges aren't rare—they're constant. Weather, politics, tariffs, port closures, labor strikes, pandemics…founders can't avoid disruptions, but they can prepare for them. Kerim believes these moments of chaos often spark innovation. When materials change, or routes shift, companies are forced to rethink how products are made—and sometimes what emerges is stronger, smarter, or more profitable than before. He also shares how AI is reshaping the entire supply chain ecosystem: AI-powered sourcing tools that match founders to the right factory instantly Autonomous warehousing, trucking, and drone delivery Emissions-optimized shipping routes Instant business plans and market analyses generated from a single idea But with innovation comes caution. Kerim emphasizes that AI must be a tool—not a substitute for human wisdom, experience, and guardrails. At the center of it all is the mindset he teaches clients: a limitless mindset—one that looks for possibility, not restriction. Enjoy this episode with Kerim Kfuri… Soundbytes 08:18 – 08:26  "Sometimes it's in the face of chaos that we have true opportunity. It all comes from having the right mentality as you come into global supply chain." 14:37 – 14:49 "You have to be the cheerleader. You go to bed with your successes and your failures, and then get up the next day and do it again." Quotes "These disruptions aren't doomsday situations—you have to see the opportunity inside them." "You can't build a supply chain by guessing. Passion is great, but knowledge is what protects your business." "Entrepreneurship isn't for the faint of heart. You have to get up every day ready to fight for your idea." "If you scale too quickly, you risk diluting your service. Growth only works when it's intentional." Yes there are other podcasts and podcasters, but by nature of the work, we are all kind of hidden in quiet places behind microphones and editing screens, so finding a podcasting friend is so helpful. Ed Roberson has built the Mountain & Prairie Podcast and we have become colleagues and friends that can support each other when we have questions and challenges. For this episode, Ed and I decided to interview each other in a single episode and go deeper into our work, and publish it on both of our respective podcasts. Quitting isn't the real danger. The real danger is chasing a goal you don't actually want. Show Notes In this episode of Shark Theory, Baylor shares a candid realization from his Ironman training that sparked a deeper conversation about goals, passion, and honesty with yourself. While training for an upcoming Ironman race in March, Baylor found himself asking a simple but uncomfortable question. Why am I doing this race? The answer surprised him. There was no emotional connection. No deeper meaning. It was simply the first Ironman offered in Dallas, and he signed up caught up in the excitement. That moment led to a powerful insight. The worst thing is not giving up on a goal. The worst thing is continuing to pursue a goal you are not passionate about. Baylor breaks down why many people quit their goals early in the year. Not because they are lazy or undisciplined, but because the goal itself never belonged to them. It was chosen for hype, social validation, or momentum, not purpose. He walks listeners through the key questions everyone must ask when evaluating a goal. Why did I choose this? Who am I doing it for? What connects me to it? And will this goal actually transform me? Using his own experience, Baylor explains why it is okay to pivot when you have better information. Goals should align with the direction you are heading, not the person you were months ago. Growth changes priorities, and adjusting goals is not failure. It is clarity. The episode closes with a meaningful shift. Instead of forcing himself to pursue a March race he felt disconnected from, Baylor rediscovered the race that originally inspired his endurance journey years ago. By moving the goal to September and reconnecting it to purpose, the goal came back to life. This episode is a reminder that passion fuels perseverance. Discipline can only carry you so far. Meaning carries you the rest of the way. What You'll Learn in This Episode • Why pursuing the wrong goal is worse than quitting • How to identify goals driven by hype instead of purpose • The importance of emotional connection in long-term goals • When and how to pivot without giving up • Why growth often requires reassessing old goals • How meaning fuels consistency when motivation fades Featured Quote "It's not okay to quit on your goals, but it is okay to pivot when the goal no longer fits who you are becoming." If a goal feels heavy, empty, or disconnected, pause and ask why. Reattach meaning, shift the timeline, or realign the goal. Passion is not optional. It is the fuel.

This one connected with me first and it came from Mark Hickie (@MPHickie) and he shared this preview of what the post was all about:  “A message for today … Don't be afraid to embrace life, chase your dreams and live fully. Show up every day with passion and courage, and let nothing hold you back. Life is rare and beautiful—go all in with it!” His post moved me so much and I shared these thoughts on his post as I shared it with others: “I could do so much better with this for my life… I've had my moments of not being afraid, but not like I know I could have. Good news for me, I can show up today - right in this moment I have - with passion, courage, love, etc., and do my best with the task at hand.”  I shared a lot about this in today's episode and it honestly connects with a lot of the thoughts, feelings, ideas swirling around in my head from other items I have connected with this morning - but I hope (as I always do) this gets you thinking and then acting in a direction that helps you with the things going on in your life. Whatever it is, keep it up!  Thanks for listening.  Please take a few moments to subscribe & share this with someone, also leave a 5 Star rating on Apple Podcasts and ITunes or other services where you find this show.  Find me on Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/coachtoexpectsuccess/   on Twitter / “X”:  @coachtosuccess   and on Instagram at:  @coachjohndaly  - My YouTube Channel is at: Coach John Daly.   Email me at: CoachJohnDalyPodcast@gmail.com     You can also head on over to https://www.coachtoexpectsuccess.com/ and get in touch with me there on my homepage along with checking out my Top Book list too.  Other things there on my site are being worked on too.  Please let me know that you are reaching out to me from my podcast.  ** I would appreciate anyone to try clicking on the top of the show notes where it says "Send us a text" to leave a few thoughts / comments / questions.  It's a new feature that I'd like to see how it works. **

Since we recorded, Destiny 2's latest expansion has released, and Ashley has shared that she was selected for Forbes 30 Under 30, plus she will be giving a GDC talk this year.

True spirituality is not about getting what you want or fixing the outside world, but learning to be okay inside by letting go of preferences, stored pain, and inner resistance. Reality unfolds through universal causes, not personal desires, and suffering comes from pitting yourself against what is. Enlightenment comes from witnessing your inner experiences without suppression, honoring all emotions, and living in harmony with, and selflessly serving, whatever life presents to you. © Sounds True Inc. What if the key to building generational wealth isn't just what you invest in, but how you run your business? As we kick off the second week of 2026, many of us are still looking at our goals and wondering if we have the "right" plan. Gary Harper, CEO of Sharper Business Solutions and creator of the RISE Business Framework, shares his incredible journey—from a troubled youth and corporate executive to losing it all in the 2008 crash and battling a life-threatening illness. Through these trials, Gary discovered that business success isn't just about profit; it's about a vision-driven life rooted in purpose, accountability, and the "three Ps": Passion, Product, and Profit. In the first half of the interview, Gary and Corwyn dive deep into the spiritual and mental foundations of a successful entrepreneur. Gary opens up about his "rock bottom" moments and explains why most people fail because they are chasing someone else's vision rather than their own.Don't miss Part 2, where Gary dives into overcoming fear, finding your true calling through his three pillars of purpose, and mastering the oxygen mask principle—why you can't lead others until you lead yourself.Key Takeaways:0:16 – Why building generational wealth goes beyond investments and starts with running your business strategically.4:41 – Gary's early journey in real estate and lessons from starting out with minimal resources.6:44 – Lessons from financial setbacks, bankruptcy, and staying true to integrity in business.9:47 – How vision creates purpose, purpose creates passion, and passion drives success.11:47 – The power of self-accountability and its role in achieving both personal and business goals.15:11 – Gary's KPI framework: Key Purpose Indicator → Profit Indicators → Performance → Process, and how it translates from health goals to business success.17:59 – How to define your purpose and financial freedom mark to guide business decisions and personal growth.Connect with Gary:Website: https://sharperbusiness.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/official_garyharper/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/gary.harperiiLinkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/gary-harper-37148967/Connect with Corwyn:Contact Number: 843-619-3005Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/exitstrategiesradioshow/FB Page: https://www.facebook.com/exitstrategiessc/Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxoSuynJd5c4qQ_eDXLJaZAWebsite: https://www.exitstrategiesradioshow.comLinkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cmelette/Shoutout to our Sponsor: Country Boy HomesYou served your country with pride. What happens when the skills that built your pet care business are no longer the ones it needs to grow? In this episode, we respond to a thoughtful listener question about the uncomfortable transition from doing the work to running a company. We unpack why growth often feels harder instead of easier, even when things are "going well." We walk through three major mindset resets that every owner eventually faces as responsibilities shift. This conversation is about sustainability, leadership, and learning how to care at scale. Main topics: From execution to decisions Passion versus standardization Accountability and leadership Identity shift as owner Sustainability at scale Main takeaway: "You didn't stop caring—you learned how to care at scale." If your work feels different than it used to, that doesn't mean you've lost your passion. It means your role has changed. What once required your hands now requires your judgment, your restraint, and your leadership. Caring at scale means building systems, setting standards, and making decisions that protect the quality of care even when you aren't the one doing the visit. That shift can feel uncomfortable, but it's often the clearest sign that your business has grown into something that can last. Links: Check out our Starter Packs See all of our discounts! Choses à Savoir
Pourquoi parle-t-on de la “Passion” du Christ ?

    Choses à Savoir

Play Episode Listen Later Jan 5, 2026 2:22

Through her teachings, Janet empowers individuals to stop living life on autopilot and instead reach into their genius, uncover their gifts, and share them with the world. Her central message: Passion fuels purpose, and purpose fuels joy.In this episode (excerpted from an interview with Mark in 2021), Janet guides us through a reflection on:1. What Passion Really IsPassion is what you love. What you care about. What gets you out of bed in the morning. What lights your inner fire. And everyone has the desire to live a passionate life because we want to know we are not simply drifting—we want to create.2. Why Clarity MattersJanet explains that the Passion Test is filled with exercises that help you get so clear on your desires that when you close your eyes, you can actually see the life you want to create. It is an inside-out process—noticing the visions, feelings, and desires that arise when you ask:“When my life is ideal, I am…”3. Becoming a “Manifestation Magnet”Janet teaches the ancient Vedic principle:“Curving back on myself, I create again and again.”Through intentional reflection — across career, relationships, health, spirituality, lifestyle, and your environment — you begin to see the elements that truly matter to you. With enough clarity, vision turns to magnetism. The people, places, and opportunities begin to appear. The Formula for Living a Passionate LifeJanet shares her signature three-step formula:1. INTENTIONGet crystal clear on what you want.Take the Passion Test to identify your top five passions.2. ATTENTIONWhat you put your attention on grows.Focus your energy on what you choose to create — not what is lacking.3. NO TENSIONDo all you can do…and then surrender.Let go. Trust. Allow something even better to arrive. This is when manifestation accelerates. This is when passion turns into reality. And to learn more about The Peace Room, our Reiki treatments, healing workshops, and meditation resources, visit:www.thepeaceroom.love Thank you for listening, and thank yourself for taking 5 Minutes of Peace today.Join us again whenever you need a moment of calm, clarity, and connection.
