Are you feeling like your podcast has become a never-ending chore rather than a creative outlet? A rigid path of weekly production - without proper workflows - often leads straight to burnout. In this episode of Podcasting Unlocked, we sit down with Jacki Hayes to challenge the status quo of "hustle" podcasting. We dive deep into how to reclaim your capacity by implementing a seasonal approach, optimizing your workflow, and identifying exactly when and what to delegate. This week, episode 253 of Podcasting Unlocked is about time saving systems for podcasters! Jacki Hayes helps creative service providers build businesses that actually work—for them and their clients. She's the go-to when you're ready to stop duct-taping systems together and finally create a business that runs with more ease, clarity, and flexibility. With a sharp eye for strategy and a gift for simplifying the messy middle, Jacki supports business owners who want structure without rigidity. In this episode of Podcasting Unlocked, Jacki is sharing the importance of starting your podcast endeavor with strategy in mind and actionable steps you can take right now to implement systems that will save you time and allow you to work on other parts of your business. Jacki and I also chat about the following: Embrace the Seasonal Break: Taking intentional pauses between seasons isn't just for you—it creates anticipation for your listeners and allows you to "regroup and love your podcast again" instead of it becoming a burden .Build a Content Backlog: To avoid the pressure of weekly deadlines, aim to have a "backpocket" of recorded conversations. This buffer allows you to maintain consistency on the front end without feeling the stress of "Tuesday is coming" on the back end .Systemize Before You Delegate: Use project management tools like ClickUp and document your SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) before bringing on help. This ensures that when you do hire a virtual assistant or producer, they have a clear roadmap to follow.Personalize Your Workflow: Stop following "cookie-cutter" templates. Whether you are an early-bird perfectionist or a last-minute deadline seeker, your systems should be built around how you actually work best.Be sure to tune in to all the episodes to receive tons of practical tips on turning your podcast listeners into leads and to hear even more about the points outlined above. Many podcasters and business owners spent 2025 chasing social media algorithms and over-repurposing content, only to feel disconnected from their audience. We're moving past the "Wild West" phase of podcasting and into a strategic "industrial revolution" where building deep trust and owning your platform is the only way to thrive. On this episode of Podcasting Unlocked, join me as I reveal my top five podcast predictions for 2026 and share a concrete action plan to help you reclaim your capacity and grow your impact with intention. This week, episode 252 of Podcasting Unlocked is about the future of podcasting in 2026! In this episode of Podcasting Unlocked, I'm sharing the importance of being intentional and strategic with your podcast going into the new year, and actionable steps you can take right now to build ongoing trust with your listeners. I also chat about the following: Shifting from AI as a replacement to AI collaboration.Prioritizing conversion through networking and community-building.Treating vertical video as a standalone asset.Ethical podcasting and disclosing AI use to your audience.2026 is not about doing more; it is about doing things with intention and owning your audience. Your 2026 Action Plan: 1. Audit your "owned land" (like your email list or Substack) to ensure you have a direct line to your audience outside of social media. 2. Write your AI policy and post it in your show notes or on your website so your listeners know exactly where you stand on human-led content. Do you agree or disagree with these predictions? Are you feeling burnt out by the constant pressure of social media algorithms? Many content creators feel like they are shouting into a void, working tirelessly on episodes without a clear podcast monetization strategy or a way to turn listeners into loyal clients. In this episode of Podcasting Unlocked, we sit down with podcaster and best-selling author Adam Torres. Adam has conducted over 6,000 interviews and shares his expert insights on how to stop chasing viral trends and start building a sustainable, profitable platform. We tackle the specific challenges of podcast consistency, the fear of AI integration, and how to use your show as a powerful tool for thought leadership that scales your business and impact. This week, episode 251 of Podcasting Unlocked is about why your podcast is the ultimate tool for business growth! Adam Torres is a top 2% podcaster and #1 Best Selling author of "1 Billion Podcasts: The Future of ALL Media." As Co-Founder of Mission Matters, a media, branding and book publishing agency, Adam is dedicated to amplifying the voices of entrepreneurs, entertainers, executives and experts. In this episode of Podcasting Unlocked, Adam Torres is sharing the importance of podcasting at this moment in time and actionable steps you can take right now to create moments and connections with listeners. Adam and I also chat about the following: Own Your Platform Beyond the Algorithm: Unlike social media, where you are at the mercy of shifting algorithms, your podcast allows you to build a direct, unmediated connection with your audience. Consistent showing up fosters a level of audience trust that 15-second clips simply cannot achieve.Strategic AI Integration: Don't fear AI—use it to amplify your efficiency. Lean into AI tools for research, transcriptions, and show notes, but ensure the "human element" remains at the core of your interviews to maintain an authentic audience connection.Modernize with Dynamic Advertising: Move away from "baked-in" ads and embrace dynamic advertising. This strategy allows you to keep your catalog evergreen and monetize your entire archive, ensuring that even your oldest episodes continue to generate revenue.Hone Your Thought Leadership: View every recording as an opportunity to sharpen your craft. Podcasting is the ultimate tool for refining your message, establishing your authority, and building a network of high-level business connections that can lead to massive opportunities.Be sure to tune in to all the episodes to receive tons of practical tips on turning your podcast listeners into leads and to hear even more about the points outlined above. If you ask most podcasters what they're doing to grow their show, the answers sound familiar: posting clips on social media, chasing consistency, experimenting with video, and hoping the algorithm finally notices them. But when you look at the data - real, self-reported data from creators who've been at this for years - a different story emerges. Growth isn't evenly distributed, and effort doesn't automatically translate into momentum. Some podcasts with massive audiences are shrinking, while smaller, focused shows are quietly compounding month over month. The gap isn't about talent or effort but it's truly about strategy. That's why my conversation with Jeremy Enns stopped me in my tracks. As the researcher behind the Podcast Marketing Trends Report, Jeremy looks past tactics and into patterns. What stood out most wasn't what podcasters should be doing, but what actually correlates with sustainable growth and what doesn't. Even more striking: his personal recommendation for podcasters who want to grow without ever touching social media. Not as a contrarian take, but as a data-informed one.Chapters:03:10 – Who took the Podcast Marketing Trends Report 2005 05:30 – Why Big Podcasts Are Shrinking While Small Shows Grow07:20 – You Don't Need a Large Audience to Build a Profitable Podcast09:55 – The Reality Behind Declining Podcast Growth Rates12:45 – Audio vs. Video: How Metrics Are Being Distorted16:50 – Do Social Platforms Actually Drive Podcast Growth?20:00 – Short-Form Video Builds Brands, Not Downloads28:40 – Why Email Is the Most Underrated Growth Channel37:05 – How to Grow a Podcast Without Social MediaResources mentioned in this episode:For the full list of links, resources and show notes, please visit:https://www.thepodcastspace.com/podcast/s4-112-what-300-podcasters-reveal-about-podcast-growth-in-2025-podcast-marketing-trends-report

Tom Schwab is the Founder and CEO of Interview Valet, a leading concierge-level service that helps businesses secure podcast interviews to grow their brands authentically. Under his leadership, Interview Valet has facilitated thousands of podcast placements for over 1,500 clients, and Tom himself is recognized as an authority in podcast marketing, having appeared as a guest on over 1,000 podcasts. He is the author of Podcast Guest Profits and helps introverts, consultants, and thought leaders leverage podcasting as a powerful and often overlooked marketing tool. In this episode… Every business owner is feeling the shift. The old playbook of blogs, SEO tricks, and endless social content is losing its punch, while audiences crave something more real and more human. What if the fastest path to trust and authority in the AI era isn't more content, but better conversations? And how can the simplest tool in your marketing arsenal become the most powerful? According to Tom Schwab, a leading expert on podcast interview marketing, the answer starts with genuine human dialogue. He explains that longform conversations are now prized by both listeners and AI systems because they capture the nuance, emotion, and expertise that machine-generated content simply can't match. Tom also points out that AI platforms now index and recommend podcast conversations as authoritative human content, giving interview-driven brands a surprising edge. The result is a marketing approach that not only builds trust faster but converts at dramatically higher rates than traditional tactics. In this episode of The Same Day Podcast, host Yoni Schmidt is joined by Tom Schwab, Founder and CEO of Interview Valet, to discuss how podcast interview marketing is evolving in the AI era. You'll hear why AI favors human conversation, how interviews drive conversions far beyond a blog, and what introverts uniquely excel at in this medium. Tom also gives advice on crafting smarter calls-to-action and building a long-term interview strategy.
About this episode: In this strategy-rich conversation, Cate Stillman is joined by Chloe Williamson, senior campaign manager at Interview Valet and specialist in podcast interview marketing for wellness professionals. Chloe brings deep insight into how healers, coaches, and practitioners can grow their influence, expand their reach, and attract aligned clients simply by sharing their expertise on other people's podcasts. With years of experience booking authors, wellness pros, and thought leaders on top-ranked shows, Chloe explains the real mechanics behind podcast visibility: why long-form conversations convert better than social media, how to position your message so you stand out to hosts, and what wellness pros need to understand before hiring an agency or pitching themselves. Together, Cate and Chloe break down how podcast interviews function as a scalable, sustainable marketing engine—especially for wellness professionals who want authority, trust, and meaningful relationships with potential clients. Key Takeaways: Podcasting as Authority-Building Podcast interviews create instant credibility by letting people hear your story, values, and expertise in a deeper, more human format than typical online content. Thought Leadership Over Algorithms Unlike short-form platforms, podcasts let you speak to highly aligned audiences who already want meaningful transformation—making lead quality dramatically higher. The Right Message Matters More Than Big Shows Chloe explains how niche, mission-aligned podcasts often outperform large shows when it comes to conversions and connection. Strategic Positioning Gets You Booked Wellness pros often pitch from the wrong angle. Chloe outlines the messaging, transformation story, and clarity needed to stand out to podcast hosts. Long-Game Marketing That Compounds When repurposed correctly, one interview becomes months of content—expanding visibility, SEO, and brand assets. Aligned Client Attraction Podcast listeners make decisions based on resonance, not pressure—leading to clients who are more committed, more prepared, and more invested.

On this episode of Christopher Lochhead: Follow Your Different, Christopher yielded his host chair as he joined Tom Schwab in The Podcast Interview Marketing Show to discuss the rise of the Creator Capitalist. Through their dialogue, Christopher Lochhead and Tom Schwab explored why the foundational model of “knowledge work” is swiftly becoming obsolete in the age of artificial intelligence. More importantly, they charted a path forward for professionals and entrepreneurs seeking to not just survive but thrive by transitioning from knowledge workers to what Lochhead calls “creator capitalists.” This episode unpacked how AI is upending the value of existing knowledge, why declaring and differentiating your value matters more than ever, and how podcasts exemplify and enable the new rules for standing out in a commoditized world. You're listening to Christopher Lochhead: Follow Your Different. We are the real dialogue podcast for people with a different mind. So get your mind in a different place, and hey ho, let's go. AI and the Death of the Knowledge Worker A core theme throughout the conversation is Lochhead's assertion that the traditional knowledge worker is now on an “already dead” trajectory. Echoing Peter Drucker's concept from seventy years ago, Lochhead dissected the evolution of knowledge work: those who acquire valuable knowledge and are paid to apply it to achieve outcomes. For decades, professions like law, medicine, and accounting thrived on this value proposition. But as Lochhead put it, “AI makes the value of existing knowledge closer to zero every day, and it makes the ability to apply existing knowledge easier, cheaper, and closer to zero.” As machine learning and generative AI like ChatGPT and Claude can instantly synthesize and apply troves of information, merely applying knowledge is no longer a competitive edge. In Lochhead's words, “If you rely solely on applying existing knowledge to get paid, you're already behind the curve.” The world's next wave of success stories won't be those who can recite best practices or historical information; instead, it'll be pioneers who create entirely new categories, products, and perspectives. Declaring and Defending Your Value in a Commoditized Marketplace This paradigm shift has profound implications for how expertise and content are valued. Schwab and Lochhead explore the necessity, not just of creating new value, but of unmistakably declaring it to the market. Lochhead's release of his book “Lightning Strike Marketing”—priced defiantly at $100—became a case in point. The rationale wasn't greed, but a strategic effort to defend the book's value and signal that it's not merely recycled or commoditized information. Lochhead observed, “Unless you declare you are valuable, you will be devalued by AI.” The traditional model, where business books have hovered at the $25 mark for decades, fails to align pricing with the value delivered and only invites further commoditization. By staking out a bold price point, the book became a "lightning strike" in its own right. The move generated word of mouth, forced a choice for buyers, and ultimately achieved bestseller status on Amazon for global marketing books. At the heart, the message is clear: creators who want to lead must not only generate differentiated intellectual property but stand firm against the eroding forces of commoditization. “Better invites a comparison; different forces a choice,” Lochhead added, marking the essential blueprint for becoming a category of one. Podcasts and Category Design: The New Playground for Net New Value A recurring motif, interwoven through both Christopher Lochhead's and Tom Schwab's journeys, is the unique power of podcasts as both a proving ground for new ideas and a channel for building “relationship and reputation capital.” In contrast to AI-generated summaries or formulaic blog posts, podcasts uniquely foster authentic, serendipitous dialogue between real human beings.
Podcast interview marketing is one of the fastest ways for health coaches to grow authority, expand reach, and attract right-fit clients—without living on social media. Strategist Chloe Williamson from Interview Valet explains how to guest on the right shows, borrow trust from vetted hosts, repurpose long-form interviews into evergreen content, and build a campaign aligned to your goals (education, client acquisition, or authority). What You'll Learn Why podcast guesting often outperforms hosting for lead generation and credibility How to pick shows strategically (audience fit, titles/descriptions, host style, discoverability) Research that matters: demographics, geography, trends, and topic data Chloe uses Messaging that converts: overcoming "bragging" reluctance, positioning, and clear offers Evergreen content playbook: turn one 45-minute interview into emails, reels, blogs, ads, and talks Busting the "saturation" myth in health and wellness Guesting without social media: leverage email/newsletters and communities Post-interview promotion that actually moves the needle (and what to ask the host) Setting realistic goals and reverse-engineering your guesting plan Key Topics & Flow Chloe's origin story and why guesting resonates in health & wellness Borrowed trust: how vetted hosts pre-warm their audiences Strategy vs. spaghetti: choosing shows, not just chasing downloads How to talk about yourself without feeling "braggy" Guesting > hosting for client leads (while both can coexist) Evergreen repurposing: interviews → emails, reels, blogs, talks, ads Seasons, replays, and keeping your feed ranking and discoverable "Niche down + niche out": expanding beyond a too-tiny avatar Defeating the oversaturation myth: everyone needs health Next steps: goal setting, outreach, prep, and post-show promotion Action Steps for Health Coaches Set your primary goal: education/authority, client acquisition, or content creation. Build a show shortlist: audience fit, guest-friendly titles/descriptions, searchable show notes. Develop talk tracks: 3 core stories, 3 actionable tips, 1 clear call-to-action. Pitch with proof: outcomes, case examples, and a tailored angle for each host. Repurpose immediately: pull 5–10 clips/quotes, 1 newsletter, 1 blog, and 3 reels from each interview. About Chloe Williamson Chloe Williamson is a strategist at Interview Valet, a white-glove podcast interview marketing agency. Andrew Humberman BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Andrew Huberman has remained at the forefront of both neuroscience discourse and the booming male wellness industry in recent days, pushing headlines and stirring conversation well beyond academic circles. El País highlights how Huberman's persona and advice have become emblematic of the so-called 'Huberman husbands' phenomenon, positioning him as the most famous influencer within the “bro science” movement and dubbing him the “Goop for men.” The profile underscores Huberman's knack for blending hard science with Silicon Valley-style self-optimization, from daily light exposure rituals to cold plunges, all delivered via his massively popular Huberman Lab podcast, which boasts over 140 million views on YouTube and regular number-one rankings on podcast charts.Recent podcast episodes have featured wide-ranging topics, including a deep dive into how breathing impacts mental and physical performance and the neurobiology behind forming thoughts and focus. His interview with Dr. Jennifer Groh explored how the brain encodes perceptions and how practical strategies can improve attention and happiness. As usual, the show has been peppered with the latest research as well as clear protocols listeners can immediately apply. The Huberman Lab podcast continues to drop new episodes every Monday and Thursday, regularly trended and meticulously sponsored, with companies like Wealthfront, AG1, and LMNT heavily featured, and Huberman providing paid testimonials on air. According to disclosures, Huberman's association with sponsors like Wealthfront now carries added scrutiny, given the size of his listening audience and the potential conflicts of interest.Business activity surrounding Huberman remains robust, evidenced by the continued expansion of the Huberman Lab brand and the pre-launch push for his new book, Protocols, positioning itself as an essential guide to brain and body optimization. On social media, the term “Huberman husbands” is gaining traction, both as a badge of biohacker credibility and a point of pop-cultural debate about masculinity, wellness, and science, as noted by El País and further underscored by The New York Times coverage referenced in recent features. There have been no major public controversies or confirmed negative stories tied to Andrew Huberman this week. However, as with all high-profile wellness figures, discussions about the scientific rigor and broader societal impact of some recommendations persist, reflecting the mounting influence and ongoing scrutiny associated with his rise. Overall, his biographical trajectory in recent days is most notable for the mainstreaming of his brand and philosophy, reflecting both commercial reach and cultural cachet rarely seen for a neuroscientist.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI

Are you a podcast host who feels awkward or frustrated when you try to sell your podcast or your content? You might be working hard to get people to listen to your show, but you know there are a million other shows they could be tuning into. The pain point isn't if you're selling; it's that you might be selling like an amateur instead of a professional. In this episode of Podcasting Unlocked, we speak with Morris Sims about the professional sales mindset every host needs. We dive into why you are always selling—the idea of listening, your content, and your expertise—even if no money is exchanged. This week, episode 239 of Podcasting Unlocked is about the professional sales mindset for podcast engagement! Morris Sims began his career as a Chemical Engineer. 5 years later, he decided to do something fun; he joined New York Life Insurance Company to sell Financial Services. 32 years later he retired after 20 years in New York as the Vice President and Chief Learning Officer in charge of training for all the Financial Services Professionals and Managers. Now, 8 years later, Morris is hosting his 3rd podcast, The Commission Code, and runs his own consulting and training company. His clients are business owners looking for help and guidance to increase their revenue and have more time to enjoy it.In this episode of Podcasting Unlocked, Morris Sims is sharing the importance of approaching sales as helping others and actionable steps you can take right now to devise a strategy that makes it easy for your audience to buy into your show. Morris and I also chat about the following: You Are Always Selling: As a podcast host, you are constantly selling the idea of people listening to your podcast, selling your content, and selling yourself as an expert, even when you have nothing to exchange for monetary value. The Professional Mindset Shift: A professional salesperson focuses on the prospect (the listener) and what they need, making it easy for them to buy; an amateur focuses on themselves and forces the sale. The "Hate to Be Sold" Rule: People love to buy (like on Amazon), but they hate to be sold. Your job as a host is to make the process of buying into your show (listening or purchasing a digital course) different from old sales stereotypes.Content as Pre-Selling: Use platforms like LinkedIn to share high-value articles and content, which is a subtle way of selling your ideas and building trust with your audience before you ever ask them to listen to your show.Be sure to tune in to all the episodes to receive tons of practical tips on turning your podcast listeners into leads and to hear even more about the points outlined above.
