Howdy y'all, want some coffee? It's the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. G'day to ya. There was a lot to celebrate this week, as we hosted an Independence Day Special - no not a celebration of the Jeff Goldblum and Will Smith movie - that 4th of July one. Festivities naturally included lots of horrific accents and a Morgan Freeman impersonator. We also celebrated International Kissing Day, as Dominic Byrne's 50 at 50 saw him pop into Leicester Square and get kissed by some strangers. So hygienic. Joining us for a chat this week was everyone's favourite Soap Star and Gang Interviewer, Ross Kemp, who confessed to being an ‘arrogant little twit' back in the day. Boxer Josh “The Leeds Warrior” Warrington stopped by and organised a training session with Chris. Now, despite our intern being very sleepy this week, the rest of the team had enough energy to also bring you on this week's podcast: Chris joining Threads (@chrismoylesofficial if you didn't know)Pippa realising Byker Grove isn't about bikesJames finding a smell hole in the backEnjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30-10am

When Jessica sees that her fave soap opera is looking for identical twins to appear in the show for a week, she's determined that she and Elizabeth will get the parts. But Liz despises soaps and their ridiculous plots, silly characters and contrived misunderstandings (pot, kettle etc etc). Of course Jessica tricks her (twice!) into taking part in the show and soon the twins are stars. But when Jessica's head is turned by her hunky co-star Brandon, she risks losing Sam forever. This fantastic book not only contains some of the most entertaining scenes in Sweet Valley history, it's also got the greatest collection of outfits so far. Jump in the lime green triumph (it's got a car phone now) and enjoy the ride! This show is part of the HeadStuff Podcast Network.

Gregory Zarian steps Behind The Rope. Let us start at the beginning. Born and raised in California, Gregory chats what life was like growing up with a Twin Brother and a Dad as Mayor. That would be anything but dull. Ok, let us fast forward to Gregory’s young adult life. One day, while working at a Nordstrom Department Store, he was asked if he ever wanted to be an actor. He said sure and soon thereafter found himself on the set of "Days of Our Lives”, one of the classic and longest running Soap Operas of our time. Of course, all good things must come to an end and, in this case, that includes Gregory’s role on “Days”. With that role over and done, he was scouted and sent to model internationally in Paris, Milan and Germany for a few years. We could think of a worse way to spend a few years. Eventually modeling brought him back to the states and an unexpected return to Soap Life, this time as fan fav “Julius” on “General Hospital”. In some instances, “fan fav” was an understatement. Gregory and David discuss the rabid fan base General Hospital has and how, in many ways, the level of commitment is similar to that of Housewives Fans. Hey, you didn’t think we were going to have a whole episode without any Real Housewives talk, did you? Let us not forget Eileen Davidson starred on “Days of our Lives” and Gregory lives in Los Angeles, home to many of our favorite RHOBH. From one pop culture aficionado to the next, David and Gregory cover it all. We are only getting started! This is a hun-tastic cultural exchange like no other as London native Joel takes his Aussie co-host David through the UK's most iconic soap stars turned pop stars in the 1990s and 2000s from Eastenders, Coronation Street, Hollyoaks, and Brookside. The Right Back At Ya! boys pay homage to Martine McCutcheon, a British national treasure and beloved "Love Actually" star who rose to fame through Eastenders before launching a pop career in 1999 with her UK #1 hit 'Perfect Moment' - her first of five consecutive UK Top 10 solo singles. The multi-talented star served major bops like 'I'm Over You' and her Donna Summer cover of 'On The Radio' in her second album era "Wishing" in 2000 before breaking into musical theatre. Michelle Gayle is undoubtedly one of Britain's most credible and crucial soap-turned-music stars. Joel and David celebrate her impact and discography from the signature 90s hit 'Sweetness' through to her 7 UK Top 30 singles including 'Freedom', 'Happy Just To Be With You', and 'Do You Know', and her two studio albums. This special would not be complete without a major shout-out to Adam Rickitt's hi-NRG Eurodance album "Good Times", which spawned the iconic UK #5 hit 'I Breathe Again', and also Jennifer Ellison's dead rocky Top 20 singles 'Baby I Don't Care' and 'Bye Bye Boy'. There are also nods to the fabulous pop releases by Will Mellor, Claire Sweeney, Matthew Marsden, Sean Maguire, Tracy Shaw, Sid Owen, and Leticia Dean! Known for celebrating the best of 2000s pop music, the Right Back At Ya! boys are really stepping out of their zone in this fun-filled, two-hour special that taste tests everything from 90s Eurodance to R&B, rock to disco-pop and power ballads... and even musical numbers. Unwind from the dramas of 2020 with Right Back At Ya's recap of our UK soap stars' most vibrant tunes! Today on the podcast – I've got actor/producer/director – Chris DeBlasio. A New Jersey native (don't mess with those guys!), DeBlasio is a real creative force in todays' entertainment business. You've seen Chris's handsome mug on Daytime TV in soaps like – All My Children – The Guiding Light – and One Live to Live. We can get philosophical with that last one... Chris's goal NOW? – to make Florida's Emerald Coast – the next Hollywood (but better)! DeBlasio traces his love for production and all things MOVIES back to his childhood – where he bonded with his dad over their love for horror movies. Let's hear what Chris has to say about his company - 850 Entertainment – his latest production – “Government Records” – which is based in the world of Hip-Hop – and how entrepreneurship and entertainment, meld creativity, drive and financial risk.

Kimberlin Pelzer Brown has spent the past three decades building a multi-facetted career in business, philanthropy, entertainment and agriculture. While she is best known for her prominent role in CBS’s award winning international soap operas, she is a proud wife and mother, successful entrepreneur, philanthropist, two-time bone marrow donor, and a passionate advocate for women in politics. Married for 27 years, Kimberlin and her husband Gary have built several successful businesses including a sports fishing and marina rental company, as well as an avocado farm. She also owns and personally operates her own successful design company, K. Brown Design. Like many small business owners, Kimberlin built her companies from the ground up and now employs over 100 Californians. As one of a small, rare group of actors in Hollywood who are public about their conservative political beliefs, Kimberlin entered the national political spotlight as a prime time featured speaker at the Republican National Convention in 2016. She strongly believes that the district has not been effectively represented by incumbent Raul Ruiz and his leaders Barbara Boxer, Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama. The National Republican Congressional Committee has awarded her “Young Gun” status for her achievements as a candidate. Former White House Chief of Staff and Governor John Sununu, Congressman Ed Royce, the East Valley Republican Women’s Federated and the Riverside County Republican Party have endorsed Kimberlin over her opponents because her diverse track record of successes will enable her to be an aggressive candidate who will be a principled and effective, results driven leader in Congress.

McCarty's new Direct-to-DVD adult film Flawless: From Beauty Queen to Porn Queen is on sale now from Vivid Entertainment. From TMZ, to Perez Hilton, to Entertaiment Tonight, everyone in Hollywood was talking about McCarty. On today's episode of the Daytime Confidential podcast, McCarty reveals all about her controversial career move to Luke and Jamey.McCarty talks with DC about what led to her embarking on such an uncharted career path. She tells how she pitched the idea for Flawless, and served as a co-writer on the project. McCarty explains why she strove to make Flawless the type of adult film that appeals to women, as well as men. She admits to being nervous about how her new venture will be perceived. Will her Passions fans be receptive to Flawless? Did the current state of the U.S. economy and lack of roles for actors facing a streamlined pilot season and a potential SAG Strike play a factor in her decision to do porn? Most importantly, what would Passions' Edna (Kathleen Noone) have to say?The soap vet shares her brief encounters with late Passions creator James E. Reilly, and weighs in on the poignance of Passions being cancelled shortly before his death. Is McCarty still in touch with any of her daytime costars like Galen Gering or McKenzie Westmore, both of whom have returned to soaps, if so, what are their thoughts on Flawless? Is McCarty afraid her adult film turn will prevent a possible return to daytime in the future? Her answers might surprise you.The Miss USA 1991 then offers her perspect on the pageant mom phenomenon, made notorious by the Jon Benet Ramsey Case, as well as movies like Little Miss Sunshine and the upcoming WE reality show Little Miss Perfect. Finally, McCarty talks about her stint tonight, hosting ACME this Week, the popular sketch comedy show, that has boasted Ilene Kristen, Bryan Datillo, Tichina Arnold (Everybody Hates Chris) and Arianne Zucker as recent hosts. Will McCarty spoof her soap career? Her pageant career? Her porn career? All of the above? It's an interview you won't want to miss. Then for those of you in Los Angeles, head on over to Acme Comedy Theatre, located at 135 N La Brea Avenue, L.A., 90036, at 8 pm to catch the show.
